A province of The Armed Republic of Neo-Erusea has declared indepence. Now calling itself the Republic of Dinsmer, the rebelious province seeks freedom from Neo-Erusea's dictatorship goverment. In a bold move, Dinsmer's new president, Nicholas Grenhart ordered his forces to attack a Neo-Erusean military base in Brena, the capital, with equipment from the black market. In turn, Neo-Erusea's dictator, David Mondol sent the Neo-Erusean military to invade the rebelious state. After two months of bitter fighting, Neo-Erusean forces took Brena. Grenhart fled and is now asking for help for the sake of democracy.

OCC: Hmmm... you put me in a tough bind Neo-Erusea, I don't know who to support, the rebels our you. I'll have to think about this considering I don't want Dun Eideann 2 to Destabilize.

After reading a report on military events in the world, the President expressed slight support for the Rebellion and also gave a warning to the Neo-Erusean Government.

"The Republic of Blaglug highly suggests you stand down at once and proceed to negotiations. Continued agression will provoke a military intervention by the Republic."

"Sir, you may want to look at this." A high-ranking officer gave a tape to the Neo-Erusean dictator.
"What the hell's this?"
"Just watch."

The tape began with Nicholas Grenhart and his supporters in front of a Dinsmerian flag. After a five second pause, the national anthem of Dinsmer began to play and Grenhart started to speak. "Nations of the world. I, Nicholas Grenhart, president of the Republic of Dinsmer, am asking you to watch this video." It was a last ditch attempt for help, David saw. "As you may know, the Neo-Erusean republic has occupied my beloved country." As he said this, the film showed valiant Dinsmerian forces fight the Neo-Eruseans, but soon they were overwhelmed. Then came an image of Neo-Erusean forces marching through the capital. "In an attempt to find democracy, my people have rebeled against the Neo-Erusean tyrant, David Mondol. Now I ask you, for the furtherment of democracy, please, lend us your hands. Liberate Dinsmer from the Neo-Erusean menace. With your help my people can be free."
"Turn that off, now!" Mondol was pissed off. One of his guards ran towards the VCR and hit the power. "Damn it!"This bastard is going to bring us war.

Damn, damn, damn, Mondol thought. Already other nations are mobilizing agianst my Neo-Erusea. "Ready the JUGGERNAUT. We are now at Voyska condition 3."
"Yes sir!" replied a general. He went and left the room. Mondol went to his seat. The JUGGERNAUT, a Neo-Erusean particle weapon perfected over seven years, was activated. The Neo-Erusean navy set sail and lunched two new Akula-class subs. The Neo-Erusean Air Force went on high alert as well. Neo-Erusea was preparing for war.

OOC: Careful with that weapon. It could be classified as a God Mod....don't go all stupid with it.


IC:

Blaglugian Satelittes had been monitoring military forces since the outbreak of this war. Officials of the Republic were apauled at the sudden escalation of force power on Neo-Erusea's part. This was surly going to get ugly. President Johnny Smooth was infuriated at the preperation of such a superweapon and ordered NUKECON Status to rise to Level Two. He also ordered all ICBM sites to go armed in a attempt to show that he was not bluffing.

As a result, he sent the following transmission directly to Neo-Erusea:

Deactivate your Particle Weapon Immediatly or face military backlash. Use of this weapon will provoke a devestating attack on your nation.

Don't worry, the partcle weapon cannot harm ground units, it is a dedicated anti-ballistic missile weapon.

I am not going to back down, btw. You use your weapon and I glass you. The Republic doesn't take nicely to threat of WMD. No offense to your nation.

"Look at this mess. 'Bout to go nuclear over an insurrection like this." Alex ran his hand through his hair as he spoke to his peers in the Council of Ten. "Too many civilian lives can be lost over the use of these weapons." An elderly woman with silver hair spoke. A man in a military uniform spoke. "Satelite intel is still comin' in. We have a fix on some of the silos in the embattled areas, but I highly doubt we could prevent a nuclear exchange."

Alex faced the Council. "We are going to wait. If they accept our diplomatic overtures, then we will have nothing to worry about. If they don't, then we will cross that bridge." The Council was silent.

Several hours later, a Neo-Erusean satellite noted the readied ICBMs. the Neo-Erusean dictator Mondol was alerted by the Minister of Defense. "What?!? These Dinsmerian fools. Don't they all see that this is a rebellion. Send a message to Blaglug, immediatly.

Attention president of Blagblug. We have noted your increase in the readiness of your nuclear forces. Note that a launch against Neo-Erusea, or Neo-Erusean forces will result in destruction of your country by our nukes. We may not have ICBMs, but we do have nuclear-tipped cruise missiles. And note that we have no intentions of surrendering. Dinsmer is a Neo-Erusean province. An invasion will result in war.

Response from the Republic:

"We will only use our Nuclear Weapons if you use the Particle Weapon you have aquired. Furthermore, we had been informed that your government has been using unnecessary force on the rebeling colony and were not practicing restraint. The Republic will back down if your attack is restrained from being so brutal."

All the while, Carrier groups set out for the area and airbases were put on stand-by.

Attention Alex Connor of Siap, I will now let you know that Neo-Erusea will never surrender our rebellious province. We are, however, willing to negotiate a way to avoid using weapons of mass destruction.

This situation has gotten out of hand. Considering N.E is on the same region as Ustia we have no choice but to get involved for the sake of stablity in Dun Eideann 2. I recommand that all partys set down at the table, including Dinsmerians representatives. If you do not respond we will get involved anyways. I strongly recommand that you accept or this situation could get bad very quick.

Meanwhile....
The Ustian military goes on high alert switching to Defcon 3. The Ustian navy sets sail while military bases all over the Fatherland goe on high alert reading for war. Although most of the military is moblizing the nuclear silos are not readed for war, fearing if done it would only worsen the situation.

Secretly in space....
Several Orbital Weapons Stations code named "Silver Sky" came on line as the crew went through system checks making sure the Stations where running as they should. If any nukes where fired the Silver Skys whould take them out before they hit there target.

"It doesn't seem as we are getting much help." said Grenhart.
"No, it doesn't. Apperantly Neo-Erusea is trying diplomatic means to keep others from assisting Dinsmer. But I know how to change that."
"How?"
"We are going to have to start playing 'dirty', Mr. President."
"I would never allow such things."
"But we must, for the sake of Dinsmer. For democracy." Grenhart sighed. He knew it would be the only way.
"Very well. What shall we do."

Two days later, after great improvements in diplomatic relations, a bomb went off in Farbanti, Neo-Erusea's capital. It left over two hundred fifty dead. After much investigation, the bomb was believed to be from Blaglugian origin. No,this can't be. Damn. Mondol turned to his ministers. "Send a message to Blaglug."

Attention Blagblug government. A terrorist act has been commited agianst the people of Neo-Erusea. The bomb seems to be one of yours. We do not wish to spoil the dramatic improvements made in diplomatic relations, but action must be taken. We are moving to Voyska condtion 4.

Martial Law has been declared in Dinsmer and a bounty has been placed on its government officials. An 8:30 p.m. curfew has been set Dinsmerian civilians.

Meanwhile Neo-Erusean rocket troops aim the cruise missiles at Mossada. It could get ugly real soon. A new Typhoon-class missile sub is launched and sails for the artic.

The Coalitionist Crusade Turns an Eye to Neo-Erusea

The Global Coalitionist Front hereby issues an offer to both parties in question. The Coalitionist Philosophy (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=445932) seeks implantation into either Neo-Erusea or it's rebeling province of Dinsmer. If Neo-Erusea accepts changing its governmental form to that of Coalitionism, The Imperial Coalition of Kroando shall send in ample military aid to put down the rebellion in Dinsmer, and protect our new brethren from any hostile threat.

However if the Dictator of Neo-Erusea refuses this change of government to the form of Imperial Coalitionism, and Dinsmer accepts, we shall send a large protection force to drive back the Neo-Erusean Invaders, and establish the Coalitionist Philosophy into the new nation. The choice is up to the governments of the two parties.

Official Decleration of the Global Coalitionist Front

The Global Coalitionist Front officially recognizes the change of government of the former Dictatorship of Eursea to the true path of Coalitionism. We call for an immidiate ceasefire, which will hold until Coalitionist Forces are poised to retake the Rebelling Province of Dinsmer. All Neo-Eursean Ground and Air Forces are to halt their advance and consolidate their gains until such time that Coalitionist Forces have landed and reinforced their lines, at which time the assault will re-commence in a civil, orderly and disciplined operation. We strongly condemn all nations threatening nuclear war, and take such threats very, very seriously. The Coalition, though capable of thwarting nearly any nuclear threat, does not take the topic lightly, and requests this war remain totally conventional. We ask for all involved parties to attend a summit in Talifax, an International City in the South Pacific steadfast in nuetrality. Here we hope to gain Neo-Eursea's recognition as a soviergn Coalitionist Nation, and regain their lordship over the rebelling province with a solution that may satisfy all parties.

A folder crashed upon the mahogany desk with tremendous force, the sound resonating throughout the lavishly decorated office. A man in his sixties looked up from his office chair, a grim look on his face.

"Imperial Guardsmen are on their way under OpStat Black."

The director opened the folder, remaining seated. Inside were pages upon pages of intelligence and satellite photos of Neo-Erusia and the target areas.

"Excellent. How long until our agents arrive in-country?"
"Approximately two days, sir."
"Good. Prepare a report for the Emperor by 06:00."
"Yes, sir. I'll get right to it."

The Director of Intelligence watched silently as the man left his office, and stamped out a cigarette in his ash tray.

Someplace off the coast of Neo-Erusia
Virginia-class SSN Shadow

"You've been briefed on the situation, boys. You have no identification on you. Nothing that can't be bought on a public market. In the eyes of your government, you officially don't exist. But we do this anyway."

Four men stood on the upper decks of the Shadow, outfitted in camo patterns not traceable to any particular group. They were armed with the best weapons money could buy, all of it availiable on the public market. The only thing which could possibly identify them as Cravanian were their Cravanian-made electronic equipment, which was in use by several militaries worldwide and was on the public market.

They were the best of the best the Empire had to offer. Echo Squad of the Imperial Guard. Masters of stealth and deception, they were being deployed to Neo-Erusia for intelligence gathering, and to make contact with the local rebels. If caught, they were trained to resist torture and interrogations.

The black shape surfaced slightly, several miles off the coast of Neo-Erusia. It was risky for Neo-Erusia had a formidable navy, but it was well worth it. The small dinghy was away, and Shadow slipped silently beneath the waves.

"Probably smugglers. Let's call a Helix to investigate. Five minutes later a Neo-Erusean Ka-31 Helix naval helicopter was on the seen. "Look, that dingy shouldn't be there. Open fire!" The Helix sunk the vessel. Stupid smugglers.

"Damn." said Echo squad's leader. That could have been us. Their vessel continued onto Farbanti.

The Neo-Erusean aircraft carrier, a Kuznetsov-class, launched two X-02 Wyvern fighters. They were patrolling for whatever bombed the nearby city. They saw only one plane. Their stealth allowed them to sneak in close. They lead plane fired two AA-8 Aphids at the plane...

Shadow-Twelve got off of the plane, and hailed a taxi. He went to his hotel, and checked his weaponry. A thirty caliber sniper rifle, two Sig Sauer pistols, and a wide variety of knives. However, he didn't suit up yet, as he hadn't recieved word that Neo Erusea had replied to his nation's demands one way or the other.

OOC: Merkavas are Israeli, right. They are invading Lebanon.

The Neo-Erusean T-90s halted. "Call in some artillery." said the platoon commander. "Roger that, sir." A battery of Sandstorm rocket launchers approched and stopped. "Enemy sighted at hill 135. Five rounds. Fire for effect." The Sandstorms launchers rose and fired. The rockets fell upon the enemy positions. The results were uncertain, but the commander gave the order. "Advance to hill 135. Shoot on sight. Give'em hell, boys!" The Neo-Erusean tanks rolled forward and their laser range finders looked onto the nearest Merkavas. Their 125mm 2A46M guns open fired on them. The first few tanks died but others returned fire and killed the Neo-Erusean first wave. Neo-Erusean BMP-3s attacked with their 100mm guns, to no avail agianst the Merkava tanks.

"Abandon tank!" screamed SSGT Kotian

"Gunner Sabot tank!" a tank commander yelled
The Mossadian tank line opened fire on the T-90s, Turrets flew into the air and tanks caught on fire. the NE tanks fired back. three more tanks were knocked out.

"Looks like you could use some help" SGT mosyan said over the net.
14 F-22A Raptors dove down onto the NE tank line firing off Air-to-Surface missles. Smoked and dust covered the field, the fog of war covered up the results.

As soon as Raptors released their missiles, their bombay doors exposed them on radar for two seconds. "Enemy fighters!" called a surviving Tunguska. Its twin 35mm guns open fire and tore the fuseladge apart. "Bandits at twelve o' clock, low." The X-02 pilot selected a AA-11 and fired it. "Fox Two!" Other pilots followed suit. A bloody air battle began. Meanwhile Mi-24 Hind Helicopters scrambled to the battlefield. These choppers were almost immune to ground-fire, but easy prey for enemy air. They hoped that friendly air-cover would help. "Target tank." said the gunner. "Firing missile." The Igla missile found its target but didn't kill it. Another Hind's rocket barrage hit an APC and set it ablaze. "Another living thing you've just killed." When a vehicle is incinerated, its crew dies painfully, and are pretty much turned into sausage. Very expensive sausage. A second later his tail rotor was blown off by an AMRAAM missile from an F-22 and he bailed out into the battle.

Talifax - 'Peace Conference Room'

"Goddamnit... where the hell are these people? Nuclear friken' war is on the table, and they cant bother to show up to a damned peace summit on time?! BAH!", shouted the Consul of Foriegn Affairs, Valix. Just then, a pair of suited men entered the room, escorting a well dressed Coalitionist Commander, head of Security at the Summit. The man walked up to the Consul and whispered some inaudible message into his ear. "WHAT?! Changed their feckin' minds?! Who the bloody hell do they think they are?!", raged the Consul, slamming his hand down on the large marble table. "Goddamnit! Tell Mornov... I want that damned country... if they dont want to do it peacefully... then it will be war... General, I dont care how you do it... I just want a Coalitionist Flag flying above Neo-Eursea in two months... got it?", continued the man, speaking directly to the General. "Yes sir... right away sir."

Kroando Heights

Mobilization was the name of the game. Kroando Heights, the single most fortified region in the Coalition was under a massive transformation, as scores of battle tanks rolled to and fro, loading themselves unto massive transport ships and cargo carriers. Coalitionist Infantry loaded themselves into transport trucks, helicopters, transit planes and aboard humvees. Men ran, jogged and walked throughout this region, all heading to the Port of Helsblock. The Port, often refered to as 'Impenatrable', was to be the launching point for the invasion against Neo-Eursea, and the sucessive battles against the invading powers. Thousands of tanks, ground vehicles, aerial forces and naval units swarmed around the area in preparation for the invasion... all in the name of Coalitionism.

"Smoke grenades, ha ha ha. What is this, WWII. All tanks, use your laser range finders. Show them that their smoke is useless." The Neo-Erusean T-90's 125mm guns fired a volley into the white blanket that covered the enemy Merkavas. Soon some parts began to turn red and black. From the smoke came even more volleys that killed eight T-90s. A few Neo-Erusean tanks fired their AT-11 Sniper missiles at some exposed tanks. All but two found their targets. Funny, they were only three Merkavas exposed. All three were hit by five missiles each. But the Merkava's design was a nuisance. Of Israeli origin, this tank's engine was put in the front. This protected the crew, since Israel is small and can't throw away as many lives as other countries. Just like now. The crew bailed out and ran back to the smoke.

An attendent walk up to the PM and whispered something. Suddenly Carson erupted into anger slamming his fists into the desk next to him. "Dammit!.... Thats it were mobilzing. I don't care how you do it but I want Neo-Euresa smashed into the ground!"

Off shore of Dinsmer:
Considering Ustia wasn't very far away from NE a task force quickly arrived. LCAC'S flooded towards the landing zone. Tanks, APCS, artillery everything under the sun was unloaded onto the beachhead. A defense perimeter was quickly established around the landing zone as more troops an supplies were unloaded. A message was sent to the Dinsmer government.

Currently Ustian forces are being unloaded onto Dinsmer territory. You have the full support of the Ustian government and supplies will be sent ameditaly to your armed forces once we are finished with the landing operation.

"Sir! Enemy bombers incoming!" The commander responded "Shit call for air support and get those anti-air inplacements up and running!" The soldier responded "Yes sir!" Immeditaly after the order was given Avengers and Patriot 's were set up all around the landing zone. When the bombers arrive they are going to get a rude awakning. While the anti-air emplacements where being deployed pre-fabed bunkers and bomb shelters where being set up to protect the ground troops. At the same time everything was being covered by camo and heat ubsorbers just in case they were carrying heat guided weapons.

Meanwhile....
TSF-620B Xeon's were quickly moblized towards the landing zone. They were veteran pilots from Ustia's past wars. Even if the enemy had good planes if they were nuggets they would be in for a hard fight. Also Missile crusiers and destroyers were moved off shore to provide a bigger umbrella of anti-air cover while naval patrol and submarines scouted for enemy naval vessels.

OOC: I suggest you consult Electrosphere (http://www.electrosphere.info/). What you see there is the Usean continent, which is comparable to Australia, since it is one nation (well, after AC04) and is about the same size. North Point off the coast is comparable to New Zealand.

A fleet of about twenty converted fishing trawlers made their way across the ocean.

"This is Specialist Kesson. We are en route to conflict theater. Expect arrival in a matter of days."

Each of the converted boats was stripped down, and had almost every inch of cargo space, as well as much of the crew space was jammed with all conceivable types of detection and transmission equipment. Each boat at first glance looked civilian, but the many antennas would arouse suspicion. However, they were not apparently armed. There were two well concealed .50 caliber machine guns, but the crew relied more on the EMP charge concealed in the main deck that would erase any incriminating files they had.

Kesson stepped back from the comms desk.

"Sir, I know what our orders are, but what is the Council doing?"

"Arguing about what to do. They were following this closely, but they turned their backs and it all got out of hand. What were doing here is simply watching. The WMD threat seems to have died down, but many more parties have become involved in the fighting, and it has become exponentially more violent. All we are going to do is sit as close as we legally can in international waters and monitor whatever naval and air traffic we can, and try to get an idea of whats happening on the ground."

The President got news of the activation of the superweapon. He was infuriated. He gave orders to High Command to fire a Non-Nuclear ICBM at the capital city of NE. Only he and a few other top military officals would no it was just a high-explosive ICBM, not nuclear. His goal was to strike fear in NE and get them to back off.

Seconds after the order was given, the missle fired.

Later that day, he got word from his Secretary of War that two missles had been fired at carrier groups. One, luckily, was shot down by a D-4A Resistance aircraft (Special aircraft unique to the BAF that can intercept missles.) Sadly, the other one hit a carrier, crippling it and sending it home.

As the nuke flew into space, it was picked up by Neo-Erusean satellites. This was immediatly relayed to Farbanti. "Possible nuclear missile imbound." This misile was tracked for ten minutes and it was indeed headed for Farbanti. But why only one, thought Mondol. Nevertheless, JUGGERNAUT was activated, and the particle beam seemed to split the sky in half. Neo-Erusean citizens were afraid that a nuclear holocaust would occur. The beam continued to the target, and sawed the missile in half, and its high-voltage beam effectivly neutralized the would-be warhead.

IC: The bombers continued on to the target, as planned. Thirty minutes from the Ustian radar coverage, they launched their AS-4 Kelt missiles. The missiles would look like planes on radar and even fly like them, to draw enemies away from the real force. Meanwhile high-speed Tu-22M-3 Backfires launched their AS-16 missiles. The bombers turned back for friendly fighters.

Meanwhile, the Neo-Erusean army was taking heavy losses from Mossada's new canister rounds. "Goddammit!" yelled the platoon commander. "All forces, pull back!" The Neo-Erusean T-90s retreated ASAP, with the Merkavas in pursuit. Two more Neo-Erusean tanks were killed until a trap was sprung. Instantly a fight of Mi-24 Hinds ambushed the advancing Merkavas. They fired their AT-16 Igla missiles at the Mossadian tanks. They even out the odds for the Neo-Erusean tank platoon, whose pride has been shot. Two minutes later the Hinds started to bug out, only to be destroyed by F-22 Raptors.

As Ustian ground forces pushed ahead to aquire better positions the radar picked up the missiles. "Sir I have them coming in hot!.....wait a minute somethings not right, they seem small for bombers." Suddenly more blips showed up and the radar operator knew what they where "Missiles!"

On board Missile Cruiser:
"Roger that ground radar enemy Missiles confirmed fleet reading anti-missile carbon dioxide Lasers." What he didn't tell them was that "Silver Sky" was being directed towards the missiles and locking on. If Silver Sky didn't get them then the Lasers would.

On board Silver Sky:
"I have the missiles estimating projected path." Outside in the depths of space The anti-missile lasers moved to lock on. "Captain firing solution aquired!" Everything read ok on systems check so the captain gave the go ahead, "Fire!" Suddenly a rumbling was heard as the lasers shot towards there target. Down below the missiles continued forward but then suddenly out of nowhere a set of beams came down slicing most of the missiles in half or just simply destroying them. A few got through and the Naval vessels readed for there try at destroying them. The missiles were close to the beachead when another set of beams streamed towards the missiles, this time from the ships offshore. The lasers destroyed the survivors from the first wave saving many lives on the ground. A cheer broke out as everyone saw the remaining missiles get destroyed. Meanwhile the Xeons arrived and started combat patrols around the beachead just in case.

"Gentlemen" said Grenhart to his cabinet, "it seems that the coalitionists are going to invade Neo-Erusea to replace it with another disgusting form of government." His Defense Minister looked at him and nodded. "If they succeed we will lose our only chance for democracy. We must destroy them."
"Agreed, Mr. President, but how?"
"Defense has already formulated a plan. Defense?"
"Yes sir. At precisely 1600 hours today, our agent, code named Black Pawn, will detonate a 15 kiloton nuke at the coalitions national council meeting. Hopefully then they will back off and let our fellow democratic nations liberate all Neo-Erusea."

Black Pawn had recieved his signal. He drove to the Coalitionists Council Building and prepared his bomb.

"Sir, we have an enemy space station passing overhead in four-three minutes."
"You've got to be kidding. What else.?" asked Mondol.
"This is the satellite that shot down the missiles imbound to the beachhead."
"Okay then, use JUGGERNAUT. Shoot it down." Mondol then recited the firing codes.
"Very well, sir." The general called JUGGERNAUT's controllers and gave the order. The massive weapon aimed northwest towards Farbanti and fired. The beam went true to Silver Sky, hitting a solar panel. The high-voltage, equivalent to a strike of lightning that lasted five seconds, surged through.

"Shit! we are out of canister rounds! Load IMPAT hurry!"

"all tanks reverse! back across our border, the paladins will hold them off! Shoot and scoot!"

Suddenly a surge of electricity passed through the entire station. Silver Sky shook violently from the impact as control console's started overloading and exploding in front of the crew. Suddenly the lights went out and the rumbling stoped. The captain looked outside at what he thought was the point of impacted. Suddenly he saw a large object flouting away from the station, it was the solar panel. The crew quickly went to work, trying to see how bad the damage was and more importantly if the lasers still worked. They found that most of the systems were shot from the electrical surge and only a couple lasers worked.

Down below Ustian forces pushed forward to create a security zone for the beachead behind them. They set up bunkers, machine gun nest, Heavy amounts of anti-air emplacments, minefields, killzones, barbwire you name it. In the meantime the Ustian military continued to try to contact the Dinsmer goverment or any leader of them for that matter so they could put togther some time of alliance. So far there was no luck but they keep trying.

"We're taking artillery!" The platoon commander wanted to pursue the enemy. "Launch a rocket barrage on those Paladins.

"Charge" yelled the platoon commander. The T-90 tanks approached the border at 60km/h and opened fire on the vulnerable M109 Paladins. The Neo-Erusean's air support was still tangled with Mossada's elite F-22 pilots, but the Raptors couldn't do anything about the Neo-Erusean advance, or they'd be shot down. "We've just recieved orders from HQ, sir." A seargent relayed the message. "Do NOT invade Mossada. Drive them back. We don't need to give an excuse for the allies to invade us. Cease fire when the last Mossadian tank crosses the border."
"You've got to be kidding." The last Merkava racing for the border killed a T-90 but was hit with an AT-11 missile from the commanding tank. "Wow, a thought turrets with overhanging bustles didn't pop off."

OOC: JUGGERNAUT was designed to kill ICBMs in space, but it works with satellites, too. It's actually more like a mix with Stonehenge and Excaliber. Remember the map? Dinsmer is on the southern peninsula west of the little line I told everyone about earlier. Sorry, I should have had this planned. This is my first thread, you know. Neo-Erusean forces control the inland part, including Brena, the capital, as I noted on page 1. Dinsmer's president is in excile, so you know.

A C-130 rumbled across blue skies...

"Alright boys we are just there to give them support! But the Neo bastards shot at our tanks earlier so expect the worst! the rebels are probably jumpy and are trigger happy, so we have to make our mission known to them! When we hit the ground set up secruity, do your jobs, do what we were trained to do! For the republic! for freedom! to free the oppressed!"

OOC:They are working like terrorists, with different 'cells'. They are using mostly resistance fighters, the regular army is hiding underground. They are still in contact with Grenhart.

"Blue 2, do you see what I see?"
"Yes, sir. Let's try to make contact."
"Attention unidentified aircraft, state your serial number and destination." All of a sudden paratroopers started coming out. "Those aren't skydivers, Blue 1, permission to engage."
"Permission granted."
"Blue 2, engage." The pilot's X-02 turned to follow the plane. "Fox-2." The X-02's missile rack under the engine opened, and the rocket booster ignited. It launched the AA-11 off the rail and into the Hercules' left wing. "Target is going down. Nothing I can 'bout the paratroopers, sir."
"Very well, Blue 2. RTB."

Meanwhile Neo-Erusean Military Industries rolled some Black Eagle tanks off the production line. These would fight alongside the Leopard 2A6s and T-90s. The Black Eagle, however, is the best of the three. Near small town close by beachead:
Before the Ustian forces moved into this quiet town leaflets had been dropped saying:

"Hello Dinsmerians, we are the Republic of Ustia. We hope to become allies with you in the coming days of this war. Currently are military is closing in on your town to establish relations with you. don't be scared as we mean no harm. We actually want to help you gain your freedom from the dictatorship of Neo-Euresa. Well see you soon."

The ground forces moved in being very alert of any possible attack. Wardog commandos landed on several rooftops with snipers scoping for any possible threat from the roofs. Overhead Comanches covered the ground forces as Xeons flew overhead searching for any air targets. They weren't taking any chances.

OOC: Just so you know I landed on the southern tip of the penisula so I wont have contact with your forces.

"Damn, i hope that wasn't our ride home!"

The elite troops hit the ground and broke up into platoons.
The mossadian Paratroops were trained and by Israeli officers. They knew what they were doing.

"Bravo team, set up in that house, according to recon the Fighters should be around here" said SSGT Avilian

OOC: That's alright. Cool. My first rp war (though not going in my favor) is doing way better than I expected. Well, good luck Ustia. I will never let go of Dinsmer.

IC: A Neo-Erusean satellite passed over the Ustian beachhead. It was unscathed by the missile attack. "Now that whatever the hell that satellite is gone, I'll have a clear shot at the Ustian forces. Another wave of Tu-22M Backfires took off Megalith island. Two hours later their missiles were in range. Here comes round two. This time the AS-16s had MOAB(Massive Air Ordinance Burst, like the burst missile of AC) warheads. They streaked off at Mach two towards the beach. One Tu-22 stayed to give them jammer support. The pilots were nervous, but confident. Hopefully the jamming would keep the fearsome ground-based lasers from seeing them.

"Shit! jets, take cover in the houses, they are headed for the ustia soldiers not us. Get on the radio and try to get in contact with the Ustia forces, warn them a whole lot of death is coming their way!"
MSG Shalit screamed at the radio team

"We're getting radio chatter." said a pilot.
"It's inaudible. Whatever. Whomever it's being sent to wont' here it, remember? Our jamming?"
"Oh, yeah, I feel dumb."

Soon enough Neo-Erusean Chiorny Oriol(Bleak Eagle) tanks approached the Mossada-Neo-Erusean border. These tanks were far better than the T-90s, and they looked just as fearsome with their 125mm 2A46M guns. The Leopard 2A6 tanks are at other locations. Also with them are M174 artillery tanks. The Neo-Erusean military took fearsome losses from enemy M109s. Mi-28 helicopters replaced the venerable Hinds, since the Merkava Mk4 was designed to kill the old helos.

OOC: And I will never let go of my beachhead NE. Oh yeah did you think that was the only one I had? Of course I'm not going to use them to attack targets on earth considering they'll just get blown out of sky by your damn laser. Also How can a MOAB be a missile? Its a very large bomb that needs a bomber or a transport to deliever it and even then its just a free fall bomb not a missile.

"Great more bombers sir." this time the navy picked them up in the middle of the sea. There was some jamming that was coming from were the missiles had been launched. The radar controller wondered why they were using it if they were launching missiles. They saw as the missiles raced towards the beachead once again. A fleet moved to entersept the missiles before they hit the beachead. The missiles approached the fleet at high speed while the ships readed to fire. Finally they got into range and the lasers fired. A stream of red raced towards them reaping the missiles to shreads causing massive explosions but one got threw .
It keep going and was close enough for the autocannons to try to take it down. They got it but it exploded very close to a warship. The explosion badly damaged the destroyer and slightly damaged a couple of ships close by. The destroyer was a complete mess with most of its weapons destroyed.

Over the sea:
In the meantime Xeons were moblized to take down the bombers. there was a lot of them and nothing was going to stand in there way, nothing. The jamming didn't affect the aircraft as they approached (don't ask me its not my plane.) Instead they dished out a little jamming of there own considering every aircraft had that abilitly (I don't think its very strong though.) Then they fired there long range missiles at the bombers espiecally trying to take the jammer down. The Xeons were extremely stealthy probable more so then the Raptor. It would be almost impossible for them to detect the Xeons never mind targeting.

Megalith Island:
Sats had detected where the bombers had come from so a bombing mission was ordered to take out the airbase or at lest damage it. The B-2's approached at a low allitude along with Xeons as there escorts. They locked on to there targets and each of them fired several "Black Mamba" ALCM's (air launched cruise missiles) at there targets. The cruise missiles flew at low allitude weaving there way through anything in the way like mountains or hills. Meanwhile the B-2's headed home along with there escorts.

In space:
After figuring out where NE's satellites where the Silver Skys started destroying them one by one with there anti-satellite lasers. Now JUGGERNAUT should be blind.

OOC: They are smaller versions of the MOAB.

IC: "God damn!" said the control tower. "Activate our defenses!" Phalanx gun-type weapons turned on immediatly and automaticly engaged the missiles. The guns tore at the missiles, one by one. "Two left!" said tower. The two missiles came less than 100 meters of each other. The gun didn't know which to engage first, went into reset mode, and prudently didn't engage any. The cruise missile dropped bomblets onto the runways, and then pitched up and stalled, adding their fuel to the destruction. All but one runway hit. Clean that mess up, ASAP.

Mossada border:
"Sir scouts report heavy Neo-Eurasian main battle tanks just across the border. Orders?"
Maj Gen Mooshe Hagoyian looked over his forces, "Call up all reserves, standby units, and the rest of the armor to the border. Scramble the rest of the F-22s. They think they will take one inch of our soil they are wrong. Get ready men! For the republic!"

His tired army raised their arms in the air "For the republic!"

President of Mossada's office:
"Hmm, general, how many soldiers do we have on reserve?"

Pvt Kocharian took off running towards the beach, with only a pistol in his hand.

"Sir, I've got bad news."
"What is it now?" asked Mondol.
"JUGGERNAUT's targeting satellites have been shot down."

Later, a Neo-Erusean MiG-25 Foxbat flew to 40,000m with an ASAT missile. The pilot launched it and dove back to the earth. The missile flew quickly to the target. The satellite zapped it with a laser, but the massive missle was to close. Shrapenal tore the satellite apart. "Good bye!"

President of Mossada's office:

Near the Mossada border

Hundreds of APCs full of ground soldiers drove towards the Major General's
battle line. A squadron of F-22A Raptors cut threw the air overhead.

"DO you think they will cross the border Master Sargent?" Pvt lithorian asked with a worried look.

"Ha, kid don't worrie, crap like this happens every damn week. Besides theres at least 300 more tanks rolling in behind us. What could happen?"

The Neo-Erusean soldiers rallied as their Lt. General Garcia Townes entered the front. With him followed seven hundred Black Eagles that have been the only ground vehicle the nation was producing. "Look at those pitiful Mossadian forces. We can roll right over them." Several hundred BMP-3 APCs had amased at the border as well. "If war erupts, then I want you all to remember that Neo-Erusea will prevail. You are all the tip of the spear that will be driven into the heart of the enemy."

"It is time." said Mondol.

The Oscar sub that set sail earlier launched its twenty-four cruise missiles at the border. The SS-N-19 missiles went at Mach 2.5 and flew for about thirty minutes.

"Damnit a Silver Sky was hit." The captain of the damaged Silver Sky saw as the other one exploded into a thousand pieces from some unknown missile. Fragments started impacting the damaged station causeing leaks in the station. The crew quickly patched up the ship and continued on the repairs. It was going to be awhile. In the meantime the rest of the Sats where pushed to a further orbit so they were out of range of anything NE could through at them. Nothing could get this far and do damage,nothing.

OOC: NE aren't you going to RP the Dinsmerians in the city I'm approaching? The reason why I'm doing this is so I can at least have some contact with them even if there's very little resitence members there.

Office of the president of Mossada:

"Well general by the looks of things they will not back down. Turn that border into a damned fortress. i dont care what you have to do. keep them out."

"Yes sir. I will move all the Paladin forces and i will send reserves to the front also. Not one step back sir!"


Mossada border:

The soldiers started off-loading their gear and digging defense postions. the roar of F-22s made hearing anything hard.

The Armor support showed up, armed with 5,000 Javlin Anti-tank missles and AT-4s.
The Bradley M3s deployed their TOW missles out.
The rest of the armor corps showed up also, 600 Merkava MK4s strong.

"If we meet in battle with these forces it will be hell. But good men must show force as needed"

The missiles all flew towards thier targets. Tanks and large troop concentrations. Mossada's F-22 Raptors attacked ten and shot those down, and two crashed, but the rest hit their targets. Only two of Mossada's feared M109 Paladins were hit. The Neo-Erusean M1974s fired at even more targets. "Charge!" said the General. The message was relayed to other troops, whom also opened fire. The Neo-Erusean Mi-28 Havocs engaged Mossada's anti-air units. The army advaned along the wide border, greeted by heavy fire from Paladins and Merkavas. But they were extremly outnumbered.

From Dinser forces:

We are aware of your approach. We must wait until you are closer lest the Neo-Eruseans find us. Do not come to us. Defeat the occupational forces first. Then, and only then, will we come out.

Maj Gen hagoryian was hit by incoming fire and was killed on the spot.

"Load canister! gunner fire!"

the remaining Paladins shot close-support fire but they were running low on working guns.

"back blast area clear!!" the loud thump of hundreds of Javlin anti-tank missles filled the air.

The Neo-Erusean Air Force sent its best pilots to the battle. Enemy Raptors held them back, however. The Neo-Erusean Havocs advanced with pop-up tactics, engaging the enemy then dropping down before they can retaliate.

OOC: NE you really need to start Rping the Dinsmerians considering they are a big part of this thread. Or someone could RP them for you if you like.

I'll RP them, they are resistance, not armies. They don't fight in major battles.

"Damn" thought Lt. Gen Towne, "They are fighting really hard. Still within our margin of error, though.

"So I've noticed." Neo-Erusean forces attacked and destroyed a fuel depot. It went up like a firework. The enemy seems ill coordinated. I wonder whose leading them? ,The Lt. Gen pondered. The Neo-Eruseans were gaining ground, but at heavy costs. A Merkava tank that had killed three T-90s was just killed by a Black Eagle. Those tanks were doing well.

OOC:Yeah I know but It's a little frustrating that your not having them do anything like I don't know ambush a convoy or blow up a fuel depo or something. Anyways does that message clean out all NE forces in all of Dinsmer? or just in the city because if thats the case it wouldn't make much sense considering I said it was close by the beachead and you said you only Occupy the inland parts to the north.

The call for a broken arrow and gone threw.
A-10 warthogs dove onto the NE lines with guns blazing followed by the waves of F-22As.

"Shit we're hit! we have a engine fire!"

The Bradley's fired off their TOWs and retreated behind a large bunker.
Many javlin gunners were killed by the MBT's coax machine guns. But the remaining fired off the rest of their missles and dove into the trench lines.

The Remaining Merkava MK4s coiled tight and fired from their Defensive postions.

The Neo-Erusean Tunguska ADVs opened fire on the diving A-10s. Their 35mm guns killed two, their SA-18 missiles claimed four more. That was the thing with the Tunguska. It had guns and missiles. They immediatly turned off their radars and backed away. Meanwhile the Black Eagles' ARENA missile defense systems only defeated half of the incoming Javelin missiles, but the others were killing the Neo-Erusean vehicles. A BMP-3 met a trio a men with missiles and blew them up with a 100mm round, only after a soldier launched his missile and killed it.

OOC: Let's get this straight. Inland of the peninsula is under my control. The beaches and coastal cities are not.

A brigade of Merkavas charged into the NE lines firing canister rounds.
The bradleys did the same firing their 25mm gun and TOWs.

the A-10s and F-22s were getting downed at a fast rate but they kept up the attack.

The Ustian forces slowly started entering the city. Everybody was inside some type of vechile but mostly UNISUV's. Up above the Wardogs covered the ground force searching for any possible ambush. Snipers looked around checking for any movement at all. Up above the Comanches continued scouting for enemys but so far nothing. The ground forces spreaded out and started searching for any NE forces anywhere. Everyone had a bad feeling in there gut.

"Keep laying on the pressure, men. Either they'll retreat or they'll all die!" A Neo-Erusean Black Eagle targeted a M3 and shot it. "More living things you've just killed." the gunner told himself. "Target tank. Fire!" The round flew to a Merkava that was incinerated by the HEAT round. He saw the crew escape from the back door. He gunned them down with his COAX gun. An instant later his tank was hit and the crew bailed into the fire-fight.

All of a sudden Neo-Erusean sympathizers with Sa-7 hand-held SAMs open fired on the Comanches. The helicopters were destroyed, except for one, which was hit and bugged out. Others with Dragunovs fired and killed three snipers. Eighteen men with Ak-47s then engaged the enemy. A firefight had begun.

the rest of the armor charged forward, gun blazing. The remaining paladins opened fire at close range.

A raptor with no fuel turned his nose down and crashed into enemy battle lines.

OOC:Wait a minute aren't we playing where like I attack and then you tell me the damage that I did or the other way around, because you just whipped out my entire comanche force with Old piece of junk soviet era hand held SAMs which I can live with but its really not playing by the rules unless you do things differently of course.

The snipers fired back killing the bastards who had shot dead three of them. Quickly everyone knew exactly where the enemy was thanks to there FFW gear. The snipers started picking off the SAM troops with pleasure and anger guiding them. Meanwhile the Cavalier and Crusader UNISUV's with there 23mm autocannon's and 35mm automatic cannons started blasting the troops that where firing at them. The Wardog commandos upabove joined the brawl blasting the enemy with thousands of rounds of machine gun and Assault Rifle fire. There was no way any of them could have survived that hail of fire.

Ustian forces stopped there advance and started pulling back to the security zone exept for the force fighting in the small town of course. The war is still on for them.

"Well boys, I guess thats it." The Major General said, as the C-130s picked up Wanderjarian Troops and ferried them off to Chitzeland, where they were originally destined to go anyway.

Mobilization was the name of the game. Kroando Heights, the single most fortified region in the Coalition was under a massive transformation, as scores of battle tanks rolled to and fro, loading themselves unto massive transport ships and cargo carriers. Coalitionist Infantry loaded themselves into transport trucks, helicopters, transit planes and aboard humvees. Men ran, jogged and walked throughout this region, all heading to the Port of Helsblock. The Port, often refered to as 'Impenatrable', was to be the launching point for the invasion against Neo-Eursea, and the sucessive battles against the invading powers. Thousands of tanks, ground vehicles, aerial forces and naval units swarmed around the area in preparation for the invasion... all in the name of Coalitionism.

Just out of curiosity, please do tell what is wrong with 'that'. If you even begin to say the numbers are wanked, im going to tear your head off. My Defense Budget is over Fifteen Trillion Dollars (http://nseconomy.thirdgeek.com/nseconomy.php?nation=kroando). That is more, far more than enough to fund the construction of that army... hell, thats enough to construct fifty of those armis. If you're just screaming ignore because you are scared well... thats fine, just dont expect people to RP with you.

Scores of C-5G Galaxy II and C-180 Carryall transport aircraft were being loaded with an assortment of vehicles all bound for Mossada to aid in the nation's defence. It is with great regret that today we see a nation's sovereignty violated, and as I have expressed before, Illior hates to see that happen. We understand that GASN members must provide defense for Mossada, but I hate to see support for a rebellious state, be it directly, or to help a nation helping said rebellious state. For the betterment of the world, I call all respective parties to a table in a neutral ground, no matter where it be, so the said parties can try to figure this out diplomatically, and save the upcoming bloodshed. As the party calling for diplomatic actions, it seems fair that Illior offers its services to mediate in this conflict, with all respective parties invited onboard the INS Maul, a Peel Class carrier to settle this, as long as several terms can be agreed to before hand, and will be listed as follows:
1. A total ceasefire along all fronts must be enforced.
2. Any forces from nations violating the soverignty of another nation must leave disputed areas and return to their respective territories or international water, and will respect the sovereignty of the violated nation
3. If the fighting natons agree, an Illiorian peacekeeping force will be put in place in the disputed area until an agreement is worked out.
4. If an agreement is not worked out, the said peacekeeping force will be given ample time before operations resume to leave the afflicted area, as to not harm Illiorian lives

(((But they should also be much slower with the armor you've put on those things... on Mac's Nakil, the highest value reached is 400mm, and yours exceeds that by at least 100mm on every surface, so the speed should be much slower, making it a sitting duck for top down attacks from aircraft and missiles)))

(True, but the ID-57 is also without much of the (useful) junk Mac has on his tanks. There are various other layers of armor which I do not possess... there is also the fact that the gun is a good deal lighter. The ID-57 also has a large engine, increasing the speed, lowering gas efficiency. So the main problem is not so much speed, as tanks are not all that fast in general, but logistics. But anyways, yes, the tank is vulnerable to airstrikes, as are most... it is meant to be deployed inside one of my armies... which is pretty adept at not so much controlling the skies, but clearing them of enemy aircraft. Anyways, if you want to talk about the specifics of the tank, we could do it on the tank link... dont think they appreciate us clogging up the thread with OOC tank discussions.)

Threatened, which is the key word there. There have been many threats to other nations, but they were only threats. Threats prompt reactions, increases in national defense levels, and military preparations in case of an attack, but they do not prove grounds for invasion. Your logic is illogical, and as such, I call you to the table, like the rest of the intelligent countries here, and if you do not follow, then you make your nation a warmongering nation who cannot see reason and as such, should be annexed for violating the basic rights of nations and defying all sense of reason.

The delegation quickly boarded the Naval Seahawk. When everyone was onboard it took off into the sky and headed for the Illiorian aircraft carrier. The R.U.S Arlon got smaller and smaller as the Seahawk went on. To there right a Xeon squadron was escorting them to the carrier. About 45 minutes later they came close to the Illiorian vessel. The Seahawk pilot contacted the ship. "This is the Ustian delegation we have arrived. Requesting permission to land on aircraft carrier."

The F.C had been watching these men ever since they arrived in Ustia. Currently four F.C agents where montioring them as they where fumbling with a briefcase. A sniper zoomed in on the briefcase trying to see what was in it. Then he saw it. "Jesus! Its a bomb! All units move in! take them down!" Suddenly the three other F.C agents and a hourd of the D.P.D (Directus Police Department) swarmed in on the suspects. With sirens blazing and guns aimed at the suspects The F.C agents where yelling "Fatherland Security on the ground now!" Along with the police "D.P.D step away from the briefcase and put your hands on your head!"

"Oh no we don't, you traitor!" The other man pulled a pin of a grenade, but Ustia's elite snipers shot the fuse-mechanism right off. Blaglug for some time had been monitoring the actions of the nation it was defending. Despite the cease-fire and the pleas from Neo-Erusea for negotiations, Neo-Erusea had tried to attack an ally of the Republic with a suitcase bomb. Slowly, the peices were falling together. Undiscloased High Level Officials issued the follwing secret transmission to allies of the Republic:

The RoB believes that the recent failed attack from terrorists actually came from Dinsmer and not Neo-Erusea. Why would the nation going to peace talks try to attack us and escalate the situation, esspecially after being close to nuclear war. The Republic no longer trusts those we are defending and suggests we occupy that territory as to prevent its malicious deeds.

"Sir, the plan has failed."
"Goddammit!" swore Grenhart. "Now what?" His Minister of the Treasury looked at him and said, "Why are we attacking our allies. Aren't we enemies of Neo-Erusea?"
"Yes," replied Defense, "but if they go to peace talks we won't have the independence our people have longed for. Attacking Neo-Erusea would cause them to oppress our people again, after all that effort that it took them to stop."
"So why don't we stop?"
"For our independence, fool! It is time we hit another nation, but with success this time. I suggest another bombing, in a populated area that would be impossible to check everything."
"Do as you need to." Defense nodded as Grenhart gave him his cue.

Two men with C4 hidden under baggy clothing got of a small dinghy at the coast. They walked quickly into the city before anyone noticed. One target was the largest theater in Blaglug. The other was a popular sports game. The two syncranized their watches and went their seperate ways. If this attack didn't escalate the war to free his homeland, one of the men thought, he'd be sure that Dinsmer would never be free...

Responding to orders from the President, landing forces moved in to land on Dinsmer to investigate Dinsmer agression against the Republic's allies.

Henry, a Neo-Erusean MP in Dimser, noted the Blaglugian forces. "What the heck?" Is this an invasion? I thought the war would be over soon. The MP went to the commanding officer at the scene. "Are they from Blaglug?"
"I really don't know." The officer ordered them not to open fire. "Let's see what they're up to."

Under a white flag, the Commander of the force halted, waiting from a response from the Neo-Eruseans. His name was Col. Alex Finsner.

I'll post the whole shpiel of mine later tonight..., and ICly, Illior is wondering why Baglug is sending troops in when Illiorian peacekeepers are about to arrive.

ICly, I don't feel like typing a former response I will just tell you.

The Republic believes that the recent terrorist attack attempt in Ustia was commited by Dimser and not Neo-Erusea for reasons I explained in an earlier post.

Also, ICly, we'll just say the representitive from Blaglug has arrived on your ship.

"Attention foreign landing troops" the commanding officer knew that they might open fire at any moment, "welcome to Dinsmer!" He chuckled. Man, I hope they're friendly. "Any help towards putting down the resistance is welcomed. Out"

The Colonel responded.

"These men are from the Republic of Blaglug. However, we are not here to invade your held territory. We are here investigating something and we would like to ask for your permission to investigate freely."

"Roger that. We will send some choppers to keep you safe, the resistance punks are dirty fighters."

"Yeah that's whay we're here in the first place. We might even change our stance and help you out, depending on the results of our investigation. They are being investigated for a recent attack on our ally, and we dont think it was Neo-Erusea's fault."

"Well, again, you're in good hands. Be careful." The Neo-Erusean helicopters hovered over the Blaglug troops, and the pilot of one tryed to wave.

After the brief firefight an investigation was quickly started. Everyone heard one of the suspects say "for Dinsmer!" but it didn't make any sense. Was Dinsmer actually trying to attack Ustia? and if so why? All of these questions would soon be answered but now, now they needed to find out who these people are and what they where doing. During the investagtion blood and finger prints where taken from the dead suspects and the briefcase was taken care of by the police bomb squad. All of the suspects items where taken for anaylis by the F.S. Meanwhile the blood and fingerprints where put through the national data trunk at the SFC (Special Forces Command) to see if anybody matched with the victims but no dice. So Ustia contacted NE to see if they could get a match.

We have analyzed the blood and fingerprints from the terrorist who tried to set off a bomb in Directus but we couldn't find a match. We would like to send samples of the blood and fingerprints so you can see if it matchs anyone. Hopefully we can find out who did this and why.
