(OOC: Here is the rp! Upon popular demand, I've decided to extend the year from 1620 to 1710, since I think people wanted it to be in the 1700's; I think it had to do something with weapons and what not.
Here are the list of players thus far, if more people sign up then I'll add them to the list.

The year was 1710, the month was May however none mattered to the native woman that made her way through out the land. Halona was greatful for the warm weather, however she hated the cool nights. Some locals had told her that she was in the New England area, but the woman had no concern for that. She continued walking, the sun bearly up past the trees.

North of Lake George
Fog covered the low lands and the early morning dew was still fresh. The birds chirped to the arrival of a new day. The masive lake was still and the sun began to hit the forested mountains. The deer trotted through the forest, in search of something to eat. A large buck went throught the brush. The barrel of a rifle rose slowly from a cover of leaves. It steadied and followed the buck through the branches. The crack of a rifle shattered the sereine silence of nature. It roared down the valley like thunder. The shot found its' mark and downed the buck. A rough looking man stepped from the leaves and approached the buck. His hands ran through it's hair as he knelt down. He strung the buck up and began to gut it. he scratched his short beard.
"Alain! Did you down the buck?" asked another trapper.
"Of course I did" Alain replied.

Alain was part of a hunting party who was out hunting for over three days. They met their limit and sold the meat, pelts, and other items at the French forts. They made a good life as hunters. He loved to be out in the forests and mountains. They were more of a home than a cabin. He longed to explore, but lacked the supplies to head west. he heard stories from natives of a great land to the west where massive fury beasts roam in herds that stretch from horizon to horizon. After getting his pay he departed from the rest of his party. He would head south, the herds were heading south, oddly towards the British.

Jean-Daniel Dumas heard the crack of the rifle. He told his men to hold. It was the sound of a hunting rifle. 'Good it might be the British.' Jean edged his platoon foward. They crept forward silently then saw the two men. The platoon surronded the trappers and aimmed their muskets. Jean started to yell in English. "Surrender now or you will be shot in the name of Philip V and France!!"

(OOC: I know this is my rp and everything, but could someone help me out? My char is stuck in a forest leaning against a tree..and I don't know what to do.
Any help/suggestion of somehow including her in anything coming up?)
Several miles west of Lake George
A party of about thirty large, bearded men made their way silently through the forests as they heard the distant echo of what appeared to be a gunshot. The men looked around, startled. This had been the first time in many months they had heard the crack of a rifle that wasn't thier own. These were hardy russian men who had been traveling for almost a full year, ending up an entire hemisphere away from home on their special mission from Peter the Great himself.
The leader of the Russians stopped and held up his hand to halt the company; he thought he could hear some faint shouts of what appeared to be english. He spoke quitely to the group in throaty Russian.
"Lay low, men. There are English speakers a ways ahead of us. We'll try and go around them if we can." He pulled a younger man close to him. "Pjotr," He wispered. "Stick close to me. I don't want anything to happen. Get someone to fetch Sarina for me as well."
The younger Russian nodded and began looking for the Nez Perce women as the company started to move slowly forwards.

Alain swiftly moved through the forest, he heard the horses who were on one of the paths. The forest covered him from their sight if they were to come closer. His buckskin chaps. His leggings protected him from sharp brush as we moved along the ridge line. he saw someone in the distance, it appeared to be a native woman. "Who stands behind the tree?" he called out, but not in a high tone.

The Russians were closer now; the leader-a man named Vlad Vladstienerson-called for another stop. It sounded like a full-out gun battle now. Vlad was curious, but not that curious. The Queens light dragoons rode at a hard pace through the forest and on towards the outpost set up by British field regulars. They had rode untill night fall when Lt.Col Crossley decided they would turn in for the night, the company of dragoons stopped by a small stream many miles from where the ambush had taken place earlier.
Crossley was short an officer and a sergent therefore he had to get some replacements from the regimental headquarters, he still had one sergent left, a man by the name of David White.
The moon was high in the sky and the brook glistened in the light, Crossley stood leaning against a tree looking at the running water..all through his mind was Burton getting shot. Lt.Col Crossley knew Burton and they grew up togeather in Liverpool, now he was laying in the forest with half his head blown all over the place.

OOC: Damn, I live in Europe so I was sleeping while you guys played this whole thing out... What a shame. You're in Mahican area, btw. Lake George is in the Hudson Valley, if we're talking about the same lake.
Ahagutama stood up, and his men followed the example. Few jumped down from trees, some came out of bushes nearby. Almost 30 warriors, armed mostly with rifled French muskets, tomahawks and knives. Only few still carried bows and arrows - the trade with the French had done wonders to the weaponry and effectiveness of Mahican warriors.
Chief barked a short order, and few of of the youngest, bow-armed men of his group ran to collect weapons of both Frenchmen and Brits that had fallen in their fight. The men he had sent to follow both of the retreating groups of white warriors hadn't warneed them (by whisling like a bird or by an owl-like hooting), like they were ordered to do should either of the parties decide to return, and so always careful, cautious and suspicious Chief dared to move his men out of their hideouts.
This hadn't been his battle, not a fight for the Mahicans. Even though the French were officially their allies, Ahagutama saw no point in sacrificing his men in such a meaningless shootout between two groups of the whites. In fact, more they killed eachother the better for his people.
French provided him with supplies and weapons, the Brits with occasional practice targets, booty and plunder while their settlers payed for them for leaving them alone. It was pretty much a win-win for the Mahicans, but Ahagutama knew this wasn't to last.
More and more palefaces came over the Ample Lake of The East in their giant canoes, and they would soon become too strong to be held out. Besides this, Mahicans had problems with their Red Brothers too. Iroquois' arrows and knives had become costy for his people over the last few years, and situation was getting even worse since the French were now supporting them as well. They were also starting to unite, the Seven Houses of Iroquois, which even further worsened the situation of the Mahicans. If they all would band together, his people would be put under knive no matter how hard they fought back.
These all were however worries of the future. Things were good for now. French still helped them, Brits were still mostly ket in bay (they held only a small area around the delta of the Hudson river) and the Iroquois had enough problems in the South to form a real threat just yet.
However, clashes like these were very concerning. Long Knives in Red were rarely seen this far in North... they were becoming too confident, even insolent. As Ahagutama's men came back and they started to run after the British horsemen, to keep an eye on them, he was already thinking about taking the initiative.
About stepping to the Warpath.

Jean follow close to the British, but far enought away to not be seen. Jean saw the outpost. Sentries were protecting the British from the wall. "Men were going alittle from here and will attack during the night."
Jean and his men went back into the forrest. Only if he could find some native then he could easily ambush the outpost. He sent out a private to find the natives and bring them back here.
Vlad looked as hard as he could through the trees as his men passed just south of the now waning gunfight. He could see flashes of redcoated men on horses through the trees-the British! Vlad had little experiance with the so-called 'Cultured' men of western Europe, but he knew that it would be unwise to start a fight with horsemen. Russian tactics didn't suit men on horseback very well, but Vlad was unsure just how many enemies were out beyond the trees.
A flash of grey and blue in another area of the trees caught his eyes-these men were much closer than the British, straying almost within rifle range. The other force, of course. Vlad guessed that they could be French, or perhaps Natives. He motioned for his men to stop and load their rifles; if anyone strayed too close to the Russians, there would be hell to pay.

OOC: Are they Mahicans or French your guys are looking at, or haven't you just decided that at all yet?
EDIT:
OOC: Rgr that. I'll make it so that they're French you saw, while my men noticed you, ok?
IC:
Another group of white men. Marching around like the owners of the world, in the middle of Mahican lands. Well, not exactly "their" land - indians didn't think that way. But it was nevertheless area in where white men weren't welcome - the French being perhaps the only exception. These however did not, despite their outlooks that were somewhat similar to those of French hunters of the North, belong to the mighty tribe of Great Chief Lujee. These men were intruders.
They had apparently noticed that lonely French warrior who had wandered back towards the battle scene, being now pretty far from the main group already. It was like he was searching something, but hadn't obviously noted the group of these weid, hairy white warriors that were preparing their muskets.
Ahagutama decided to just observe the situation for now, and remained motionless, quite perfectly hidden in the bush he was located. His men, all incredible experts in hiding just like he was were all around him, some in trees, some behind them, in high crass, in bushes. Adamantly calm, completely silent. Weapons ready.

Halona wanted to laugh at his comment about the men in the direction that he had pointed and him not calling them gentlemen, "You are?"

OOC: Your french kept up with horses over miles of terrian..i highly doubt it, therefore you shouldn't be over looking my camp and i still have time on hand...my troops will be returning to battalion HQ soon anyways to rearm and re-supply.
Lt.Col Crossley learned on a tree braced by his elbow,
"Yes, all officers in the kings army conduct themselves as gentleman..just because they are not recogized dosn't mean they are any less of a good man"
Sergent White Approched followed by an indian scout, most likely one of the Iroquois in the area...
"Sir! report.."
Crossley stood straight then replyed,
"Continue Sergent.."
The indian started speaking to the Colonel,
"Great redcoat, more white eyes seek you...the french will come and it will not be long"
Lt.Col Crossley looked at the indian who now looked at Halona,
"Truth is in these words you speak?" he asked..
The indian did not speak, his eyes shifted back to him but he did not answear the question. Crossley knew the natives did not like to be questioned, he looked at Sergent White,
"I want everyone on full alert...we will not be ambushed by the french or the natives.."
He looked back to Halona,
"Umm..so it seems we are being persued.."

(OOC: A message for Madnestan, my character Halona is on the run from her tribe. If you look in the OOC Thread you can find her bio and such. Perhaps she could be the daughter of your chief or if your character's personality doesn't go with Halona's father and what he did then you can ignore this post.
To read about Halona's bio in more detail, visit the OOC thread. To be very basic about my character's bio:
A warrior tried to rape Halona, she killed him however since this warrior was one of the best and a favorite of her father's he wanted to kill his daughter for killing the warrior and not giving in to what women are expected to do. In the middle of the night, she knocked out her father and ran away, she's been gone for a month now.
Any ideas? It doesn't have to be with the chief in your tribe, but perhaps someone else in your tribe?
I just thought it may create more drama...)

OOC: Reallydrunk, if your unit wasn't galloping, which I assume was the case since we're talking about a dense forest here, it is not impossible to follow them for some time if the footmen hurry. Atleast veteran scouts, like my indians, or irregular frontierists (like those Russians) are capable of doing that. Dunno about standard French infantry though...
Tarayshia, I don't think it would really fit into the picture of Chief Ahagutama I've drawn in my head. Perhaps she's from some Iroquois tribe, the enemies of Mahicans? Ahagutama could, should the situation allow, offer her place in the tribe, which would start a war between Mahicans and Iroquois. Or something.

IC: Brigadier General David Baird was in a seething range. His aides quailed away from his undisguised fury, as the bearer of the bad news wilted in front of him, while miraculously managing to remain at attention.
"WHAT?" the General barked while he paced back and forth in front of the hapless Cavalry Captain who was his unfortunate messenger. "It's true, sir," he replied miserably.
"I can't believe it! I really can't! Do you know what our fine friends in the naval service are doing recently?" Baird jabbed his finger at the Captain's chest. "Have you heard the news? That damned Hornblower just captured Port Royal, and with it, all of Acadia. The Navy's defeating the Frogs right and left, and yet the great British army can't do so much as defend one bloody outpost?!"
"I only know what I saw, sir." the Captain replied, his head down. "The entire town destroyed, sir. The Army garrison was quartered in the church, but the Crapauds brought a galloper gun that reduced it to rubble. No doubt some of our men tried to surrender, sir, but the Indians must've made short work of that.
Other than that, sir, not much to report. The inhabitants were slaughtered, sir. None left alive."
"I don't need another bloody Deerfield!" Baird raged. Turning to an aide, he said, "I want every frontier post garrison doubled. We need the settlers trained as militia, and we need our Indian allies. Fast. Maybe the Iroquois can get out of their snug longhouses and do some fighting." the aides were glad. Baird's rage had subsided, and he was planning once again. "Hey, Captain, what's our furthest-out outpost in the northern area?" he snapped.
The man quickly replied, saying, "I believe it's near Lake George, sir. Under the command of a Lieutenant Colonel William Crossley of the Dragoons."
"He'll no doubt need some help," Baird mused. "Well, I suppose we could send them this new rifle unit- seems damned useless, a pet project of the Prince of Wales, but they might come in useful in the frontier skirmishing. Who's in command of that unit?"
An aide, responded. "A Captain Richard Sharpe, sir. He was promoted there after serving in India."
"Sharpe, eh? Worked himself up from the ranks, didn't he? He'll be a real soldier, unlike you blathering royal buffoons." Baird looked contemptuously at the immaculately kept uniform of the unhappy Cavalry Captain. "Well, it's done then. You, Captain, get out of my sight. Send Captain Sharpe and his Rifles to Lake George, maybe they'll prove useful."

Chief Ahagutama didn't really understand what was going on right in front of him, but it was amusing anyways. That Frenchman had attacked YET ANOTHER white man, apparently his tribe brother - that fellow was dressed exactly like the French hunters in the North. He managed to surprise that frontierist (sp?), which was quite exceptional achievement for a regular French Warrior. The hunter was running, though - running like the demons had been after him - which reduced his observation abilitity.
Again Ahagutama thought about whether he should do something, and again got the negative result. If, like it seemed, these were both French, there was no reason to step in. He also had to keep an eye on the other group, that of the hairy whites, that was still standing nearby. Stepping out would expose them to those men, whose attitude towards the Mahicans was still unknown. So, he did't move, and his men who were ordered to follow his example in this situation also remained perfectly hidden.
OOC: I thought these Dragoons were only temporarily this far North...? If they have a permanent base/outpost near the lake, it changes the situation quite radically - it's right in the middle of Mahican area.

Directing herself towards the trees on the outline of the camp, Halona moved behind a tree where she could finally see clearly what was happening.
There was the french man that had talked to her earlyer, she hadn't bothered to remember his name. The man called William stood talking to him. She could hear the voices clearly, and heard something about, "the indian girl," but she said nothing as she leaned against a tree.

Captain Richard Sharpe was not in a good mood. His scarred face, partly blocked by the slung rifle, was grim. His red trousers, taken from a dead French chasseur colonel in India, where caked with grime, and his huge brutish cavalry sword was slicked with rain. The green-jacketed riflemen marched stolidly behind him, while his huge Irish sergeant, Patrick Harper, gazed at a bird as they plodded along.
However, the physical discomfort was not what marred Sharpe's mood. After all, he reflected, this was far better than the garrison work in Boston his men had done recently- these were rifles, the best skirmishers in the world, and they deserved a fight. Still, what really galled Sharpe was his position- his Company was to join a Regiment of dragoons in the far north, to be put under the command of a bloody cavalry officer!
Like all infantry, Sharpe had no great love for the cavalry. They had never stormed through a breach, suffering shot and shell to capture an enemy citadel, and neither did they march onward towards a blazing enemy line, the sergeants shouting "close up!" as whole files of men were wiped into a bloody pulp by enemy field guns. No, the cavalry had it easy.
Still, Sharpe reflected, it could be worse. After all, his men were only on detached command of the cavalry, which meant for the most part he would have his own ability to rely on. Still, he did not fancy a cavalryman's dandy blathering if it came to a fight, as surely it would- after all, this was the northernmost outpost of Britain in North America, deep in Indian territory and quite close to the French.
Sharpe's company marched on, nearing the fort with every step...

Ahagutama had lead his group back to their base camp again, after leaving couple of scouts to keep an eye on the Long Knives with horses and the group of Hairy Warriors (OOC: The Russians) near the lake. In this camp there were some 100 warriors present ,located several kilometers South-East from the outpost of the Brits.
Mahicans weren't on warpath yet, but instead had their warriors scattered in their villages around the Hudson Valley. Ahagutama had only these most loyal and experienced men under his command now - some 130 men. The whole tribe could muster perhaps even as many as 8-850 men and almost equal number of muskets, but such move would not be taken as long as it was by any means avoidable.
Ahagutama was determined to use what he got here now, before taking his whole force with him. However the message they had just received from a village located further South had made him to wonder if he should call his men to arms right away - a great unit of Brits, dressed in green instead of red, though, was marching towards the fort those hated palefaces had built up few months ago.
It seemed like they were planning something big with all these warriors... Right in the middle of Mahican area.
He stood up, and his men instantly followed his example.
"Come." was all he said, turning to the forest.
"Ahu!" came the reply, and the whole camp, some 120 "wild" Mahican warriors in full warpaint followed him, in nearly perfect silence and order. They headed to the South-East, to meet the Green-Red Coats that were coming up the riverside before they'd reach the fort. To ambush them? To keep an eye on them? To negotiate?
Only Great Chief knew, but he saw no reason to tell it to hes men - they trusted him even if he didn't.

"The french! they have followed us!!" Yelled Sgt.White , the musket shot went right oiver his head and struck a tree....
"To arms!! to arms!! yelled Crossley....
The french had followed them to this position, the trapper was not suspected of setting up an ambush, Lt.Col Crossley quickly retreated through his troops that prepared for battle,
"Halona! they come! we run!..the fort is only 10Km away!! now! we have no time! come!!"
Crossley handed her the pistol,
"Do not shoot me! i will be the one you will thank in the end! come!! now!!"

"Tell your white chief, the one whose slave you are, that Great Chief Ahagutama wis willing to talk with him. In the middle of that open square" - he gestured towards the rather wide treeless space behind them - "after half of hour. Both chiefs take only two men with them."

"I am only going to where i can see what is going on..if the enemy makes a push i will order a charge...if we are depleated Halona please take care of yourself..."
The Lt.Col rode into the field joining his troops, once the threat was over they would return to the fort immeaditly..they did not have very much ammo left and were in need of replacements.
Afew of the dragoons charged into the trees hoping to catch the shooter, Sergent White was outraged at the fact some one had shot at him and only missed slightly,
"We will kill these bastards! you almost got lucky you bastards!! burn in hell!!"
White moved his horse in circles, four dragoons who moved far ahead came back into veiw,
"It's like they are ghosts sergent! they shoot and hide...we cannot find them.."

The young Mohawk padded along, on the lookout for any enemies to approach the column. He was one of only three Mohawk that had traveled with the Company; the other sixteen Indians were Tuscarora, pushed from their small territory in the center of the Iroquois Confederacy to seek a better life with the British.
Then abruptly he noticed the three Mahicans. Ordinarily, these would be enemies of the Iroquois, but the Mohawk held his fire for three reasons: He was severely outnumbered, he knew several Mahicans that had been taken in the Mourning Wars well, and they were so obviously visible that he doubted this was an ambush.
After the Mahicans spoke their piece, the Mohawk nodded and retreated to the advancing column, where he met the Captain. After a quick conference, Sharpe decided to go. He had had little contact with the non-Asian variety of Indians, and although these were technically enemies, the lines blurred more often in the North American wilderness than perhaps anywhere else.
Several minutes later the company was taking a well-deserved yet alert rest on the trail, while Captain Sharpe went forward. With him were his two most trusted officers. Lieutenant Robert Knowles, a young doctor's son from Nottinghamshire was not very experienced in battle, but a good swordsman and a loyal friend. However, his form was dwarfed by the massive bulk of Patrick Harper, a huge Irish sergeant and Sharpe's best friend despite their rank difference.
The three men advanced into the clearing, wary of what would happen next.

Both were quite big men, nothing extraordinary though. Ahagutama had preferred skill and experience over size and outlooks in this matter.
Indians covered quite slowly - atleast when compared to their usual speed of moving - the space between the treeline and the British group. When close enough, Great Chief Ahagutama raised his hand, and his bodyguards stopped. He took few more steps alone, standing some five yards from the Brits.

"why are we here? We are here to fight the French- no more, no less. This fort, as I suspect it, is a provocation- the French shall attack it, and be beaten back.
We also wish no war with you. The conflict in Europe has spilled across the sea, but in doing so it has become unfortunately complicated and has drawn in many Indian tribes. We have no quarrel with you, we only wish to defeat the French. If you choose to ally with the French and aid them, then unfortunately you become our target as well.
Again, we have come to defeat the French, not in any animosity against you."
Stone-faced Mahecan chief shook his head.
"Your words are as empty as I was afraid they would. The fort is in the middle of our land. If fighting the Bluecoats is all you're looking for, you can do it somewhere else. That is a bad excuse. No, I know why you have come to build the wooden camp. In the first day there is a fort, next day there is a chain of them, and in the third come the settlers. This is how you have taken the lands of our brothers and dozens of other tribes, times and times again."
He looked Sharpe in the eyes, and continued with a low, gloomy and most determined voice;
"For the first and alst time I ask you, white chief, will you burn the fort and leave our land with all the Redcoats in here, becoming our friend, or refuse and become our enemy? The French aren't much better than you, but they don't build on our lands. It is up to you to determine which one you want more - to keep that fort or fight the Mahicans".

The dragoons retreated full speed, they were being overwhelmed with enemy forces. Lt.Colonel Crossley and 10 of his dragoons rode hard towards the fort, the others had been caught up in the crossfire. The fighting dragoons dissapeared out of sight and Crossley said to Halona,
"Don't fear, they will not be able to catch us...i will come back and crush their petty attempt to push us out of this place..."
Crossley had forgotton most of his gear, he only had two pistols, his service redcoat, helmet and sabre. He looked behind him and it looked as if Sgt.White had not made it ither, this action had to be avenged...the british were not pushovers and it would not look that way.

The French aren't much better than you, but they don't build on our lands. It is up to you to determine which one you want more - to keep that fort or fight the Mahicans".
OOC: My guys are actually greenjackets, but if you're referring to the British in general then that's fine.
Reallydrunk, my men are a mile or two on the other side of the fort, but they'll hear the gunshots soon enough.
IC: "I see the wisdom and justice in your words," Sharpe replied. "When I was in India, there were some of my countrymen who treated the natives as nothing more than animals, to be trodden upon without a second glance. I did not feel that way, and I still do not. My wife was half Indian, before she passed away in Jamaica several years ago.
My point is, though you are very different then the inhabitants of India, I understand your plight to some degree. I cannot speak for the British crown, but I will tell you that you have my personal sympathy.
However, though I am no scholar, if you only look around you then you will see two things: First, that this war between the French and the British is being won by the British, at least in North America. Our fleet prevents the French from gaining reinforcements, while our soldiers come to fight daily. Second, that the Indians who have allied themselves with the British have not suffered- indeed, they have been rewarded, while those who aid the French are doomed to defeat.
You may be able to get more of a guarantee if you would be so kind as to travel with me to the Fort and speak with the officer there. Obviously you have my word as to safe conduct."
Suddenly, in the distance, several shots rang out. They were followed by more, and the faint cantering of horses. Sharpe tensed, and jumped up. "Excuse me, but I need your decision now, as it appears my comrades are under attack!" He turned to the Lieutenant. "Knowles, form the men. Rifles loaded, skirmish order, silence is the key. I'll be there in a moment."
The Lieutenant ran back to the riflemen while Sharpe waited hurriedly for the Mahican's reply.

On a more general note, this RP seems to be shaping up well... we have a potential encounter between the British and French, some tension between allies (On the French, and soon on the British sides) and some native activity.
IC: "Halt!" the word was whispered down to the ends of the line from Sharpe in the center. The riflemen crouched in the edge of the treeline, their jackets blending into the foliage.
"I don't want the enemy to know we're here, Robert, but it is imperative we reach the fort as soon as possible," said Sharpe to his Lieutenant. "Bring the men round to the front of the fort in skirmish order and hunker down, be ready for any enemies that appear. As soon as I give the signal, enter the fort."
Knowles nodded and the riflemen moved off to take positions on the other side of the fort.

Mount Zeon in the 1700's had some holdings in the New World. In the colony of New Bethany, settlers from the nation of the Mount lived in peace, protected by a fort and defenses.
Damien, the governor of the colony, talked to one of his compatriots. ''I wonder if we will see any other people other than us, besides the polite tribesmen.'' the man said. ''I am sure we will. We will be polite and respectful to them if we see any.'' Damien replied. Damien wanted respect and politeness, not hostility and hatred.

Food was also brought by two civilian cooks, they gave it to them and went about their buisness allowing them to settle.

Reallydrunk']Sergent White stood up slowly kicking the sabre in it's scarbard towards Lt.Dumas, he tryed to ignore the Irish captian...
"It is your sir, i have no need for it now of course.."
He looked at the Irish and the Frenchman argue. He ordered his men to march and stopped when the Irishman asked him the question,
"When it comes to being an Englishman sir, you have no idea about the honor we have, two..yes there are many english units in the area...the fort will be reinforced with an entire Battalion"
He continued to smirk,
"Smirking is what i do sir, don't like it..you don't have to look"
Lt. Dumas looked at O'Reilly.
"This prisoners are under my command now. You will just follow us."
Lt. Dumas picked up Jedd's scarbard and gave it to Pierre.
"You can have this."
Lt. Dumas bent down on one knee and looked at Sgt.White. He noticed the bullet wound.
"You are a fine soldier Sgt.White. I ask again do any of your soldiers require medical attention when we get back to the camp?"

OOC: Wow, a lot has been happening...
I should probably clarify- Captain Sharpe heard the gunshots and sent most of his men to the side of the fort from which you're returning. He doesn't know that the French have retreated, and the riflemen are supposed to cover your retreat. I originally planned for only Sharpe to be entering the fort, but since you posted about other riflemen with him I'll say that a platoon have come with him to the fort.
I'll try to respond to this stuff in order...
IC: Sharpe nodded at the sentry, and began to enter the fort with the platoon when the gates were opened. He saw a major inside the fort, and offered a greeting. "Hello, sir. I am Captain Sharpe, of the 95th Rifles. I have come with a company to reinforce this position, by order of Brigadier General Baird. Do you have any information regarding the recent musket shots?"
While he was waiting for a reply from the Major, his men paraded in the courtyard.
Suddenly there was a galloping of hooves, and more men entered the courtyard. A cavalry Lt. Colonel, with many dragoons and several wounded, spurred into the courtyard. Inexplicably, he was accompanied by an Indian woman.
Sharpe turned to the Dragoon officer, saying, "Greetings, sir. As I informed your major, I'm Captain Sharpe of the 95th Rifles, come from Boston with a Company to reinforce you. May I ask, what were those musket shots? I've sent the bulk of my company to the foliage on the other side of the fort to cover any advance the French may make."
Sharpe noticed several of his men were gawking at the Indian woman. He shouted, "Attention! Eyes front!" and they returned to parade. He turned back to the Indian, saying, "My apologies, ma'am. These men are the recruited from the gutters of London, thieves and cutthroats all of them, but they are the best damned soldiers in the world, if you'll pardon my expression." He bowed stiffly.

Major Munroe saluted him and replyed,
"Welcome to the fort Captian Sharpe, i am Major Munroe second in command here..Lt.Colonel Crossley is in the field.."
He paused when the dragoons came riding through the open doors, Major Munroe came to attention and barked out an order,
"Attention!"...
All the redcoats joined Sharpe's men standing at attention all over the fort. The dragoons rode in carrying their banners with Crossley in the lead, he scanned over the rifleman who had just arrived. He got off his horse and strolled over the the major and the captian then saluted them both,
"Ahh, you must be our reinforcements Captian...welcome to the front!, i am Lt.Colonel Crossley of the queens light dragoons..is there any word from General Baird?""

"Thank you for the welcome, sir," Sharpe replied. "General Baird sends word that he suspects that the French will attempt to take this fortress, as it is our most northerly outpost. He doubts the troops we have here will be enough to vanquish such an assault, and therefore he provided me with this."
Sharpe opened his pack. Inside was a small cage, with a pigeon inside. "This homing pigeon has been trained to fly to Baird's headquarters at Albany. From there, he can alert the garrison at fort Ticonderoga via semaphore, and they can send an army northwards to relieve us.
Until that time, though, sir, we are on our own. I have brought ninety-eight men, seventy-nine riflemen and nineteen Iroquois scouts, as well as three six-pounder galloper guns. We will endeavor to shore up the fort's defenses."

"Very well Captian, we have civilians here, Our garrison here stands at 112 dragoons and 100 field regulars, and artillary crew..i lost nine men today, we were ambushed twice...cost me a very talented Lt. and a fine Sergent.."
Lt.Colonel Crossley continued,
"We have garrison cannons on each of the four points of the fort, we have six field cannons, four motors, and three howitzers..."

Lt.Dumas lead O'Reilly far away so no one could hear him. "Captain O'Reilly I'm the one that outranks you. I'm a Lieutenant Colonel, but a Lieutenant in the militia. So if you do that again I will have you hanged." Lt.Dumas walked back to the main group. "Sgt.White I want you to follow Sgt.Pierre back to the camp. You were obviously acting in the capacity as a Lieutenant. Why the two positions, anyway?" He nodded, and his men blocked the frenchmen's path. They looked angry at them for trying to steal their glory. They could not have gotten the prisoners without them. "This man, Sergeant Pierre, attempted to give me orders. That has gone unpunished, and my acts shall as well. Threatening to hang me will not do any good. I have more men arriving from Spain's territories, from France, and of course, from Ireland. I am certain to get a promnotion when that happens. As of jow, you have just managed to get 35 Irishmen angry. I trust, you will not have me punished? Lieutenant Dumas?" Also I will put in a good word to the French government for your big help on capturing these prisoners. Without you we could have not done it. Sgt. Pierre will not be punished since he is at his own free will. He can leave whenever he wants. You will not be punished O'Reilly. I just don't want the prisoners to be hurt unless they fight back or run away." Lt.Dumas said. He listen to the talk afterward. "Let's go." he murmered. He ordered his men to make way. They did, and formed two lines, with O'Reilly in between, ad the prisoners and Frenchmen in front of him.

When they arrived at the French camp, O'Reilly let his men relax, and also alternating guard duty. He began speaking with Lieutenant Dumas. "Lieutenant, we must avenge our families, and our men's families. We must be swift. Here is my plan. Some of my men will torch the fort. Whe the people inside flee, your men open fire.
