Wolverstone looked at Nathen and said "What now?

Nathan stood up, his body battered, Maria was in worse condition. Blood covered his arm and face.
"L-Let's take Maria back to the mansion, there we can tend...to her wounds" Nathan replied, his chest throbbed in pain.

Thomas walked along the riverside, stalking silently like a predator. he hardly made a sound as he walked lightly over the brush and leaves. Sean closed his eyes and took in deep breaths to calm himself down.
'You can't lose it now' he told himself. Thomas walkd upstream now, getting closer to Sean. His heart raced again.

Maria could see the brief sunlight that was shining through the exit of the cavern that she had been in. When she made it out side, she looked to the sky and noticed that night was falling.
'Damn I'm missing the best time for hunting...'
Maria thought as she fell to her knees.
'You won't give up now, that bitch that did this to you is dead so you have to keep going.'
Maria thought as she used her blood soaked hands to give pressure to the wounds in her chest.

Nathan staggered out of the cave, holding his side.
"M-Maria" he said "We're gonna take you back to the mansion" He and Wolverstone picked her up. nathan could carry her for long due to his injuries.

Maria allowed them to pick her up, "You know I thank you, but I can walk myself; save your strength for the hunt. God fucking damn it."
Maria gritted her teeth against the pain that was coursing through out her body, "It looks like I'm out of the hunt now; son of a fucking bitch!"

After a struggling march back to the mansion they finally made it. Nathan managed to open the door, he was bleeding and blood was on the door. A servant ran up
"Are you okay, sir?" he asked, examining them with his eyes.
"Do...I look like I'm alright?" Nathan asked. The servant got a few others and they were taken into the kitchen and laid on tables. They worked to stop the bleeding. they got a medical kit and worked on them the best they could.

Maria laid on the table quietly, every once in a while she'd wince at the pain, swearing under her breath.
"So doc," she said, "What's the virdect of well, everything? Make sure to fix my damn arm, this psycho bitch really wacked me."

Oliver was being nursed to heatlth by Jannet, and heard the swearing from Maria. Despite being terribly wounded he laughed "HAHAHA!! You got f---ed didn't you bitch? HAHAH!!!" He fell back bleeding.

Benjamin sr. looket through the thicket, and set up an ambush for the returing hunters.

Daphine finally came to her senses, and went over to Dirk's body (I assume the others have departed), then noticed anther, female body horribly mangled...

Benjamin jr. prepared every trap he could imagine for the hunters, outside the bungalow he found.

Thadeus slept, dreaming of home...

The butler looked up, totally unaware of what she was talking about "I'm not a doctor. But, we'll do what we can" he replied. The butler wiped some of the blood and did the best he could. Nathan sat on a chair. Another servant wrapped bandages around his ribs. He flinched a few times but said nothing.

Jack Lawford stood on the dock in sunny California and waited. He had been waiting for quite a while now... after all... she was always late. Always. Then again, he had only known her for a few months now, but it had been enough. After three months of friendship Jack and Halie were married. That was today. Today they were wonderfully married.

Now they were on their way to their honeymoon. They had in fact been given it. Strangely enough, a few weeks ago a man had called giving them a fully paid and delivered honeymoon. It was said to be on an island. So Jack stood on the dock and looked forward to the days ahead of him. It was going to be a lot of fun... he was sure.

Finally, Halie retrieved her bags and boarded the ski boat that moored beside the dock. Jack stepped in behind her and waited for the skipper to start the boat engine. He kissed her lightly and then waited for the trip to begin.

"I love you Halie."

"Ditto Jack. Ditto."

OCC: have them already on the island. Don't reply to this here but do it on the occ thread.

Maria sighed and nodded before laying her head back down upon the table, "When you put me in a room, can you make sure it's far away from the brats we got here? By the way, are you feeding them?"

Nathan looked over to her "Don't concern yourself with them. Just rest up" he said. It was still difficult to speak, every breath pained him.

The sweat rolled down Sean's forehead as Thomas inched closer and closer to the base of the tree Sean was hiding in. He hugged the tree and closed his eyes, praying Thomas would leave.

It was now dusk. Night slowly began to overtake the day. It was still hot and sticky. The air was thick with humidity. Sean could hardly stand it. Thomas was oblivious to the heat. He was used to it. The experienced hunter traversed ever steamy jungle in the world. He was sweating but it didn't affect him the least bit. He slowly and carefully walked through the jungle. Finally, he was right under Sean. Sean looked down at him. Something inside him snapped. He planned to just wait there but he decided another course of action. The young man leaped down from the tree and knocked Thomas to the ground. They began to struggle for the rifle which flew off several feet. Sean battered Thomas in the stomcah and face. But, Thomas was strong and threw him off, drew his knife and slashed Sean in the arm. Blood ran down his arm as Sean rushed him. His elbow collided with Thomas and he hit the ground. Sean, without thinking ran into the jungle, running on pure adrenaline.

Apparently they had gotten split up again. The youg woman Jannet and themselves.

"Oh jeese. We lost them again."

"Is that a problem?"

"Brooke let's face it, I want as many of us to survive as I can, and I think I would feel a lot safer in a group. After all saftey in numbers right? With a group, we could likely find away off this island. Wait a minute. That's it. I realized, I found a satalite phone on the ship. But it's packed up with all the rest of our bags. And all the bags are back at the mansion. The way I see it, if we can circle our way back to the mansion, we could probably find it. If not something to communicate with. Otherwise there is no way off the island. Either way they are going to go where we go. They will follow us. We came on the north side of the island, when it get's dark, we'll look for the north star, and head north."

Leah watched as Sean and Thomas fought. She saw the rifle clatter to the ground, and crept toward it, praying that Sean would hold Thomas off long enough for her to grab it.
...But as Leah got within 10 feet of it, Sean went running deeper into the trees and Thomas picked the rifle back up. Leah held her breath and prayed that Thomas would leave without detecting her.

Thomas staggered to his feet. Blood ran down his lip and there was a pain in the side of his body. He quickly fired a round off in the direction where Sean was running. He was in disbelief. Sean was a worthy advesary in his mind.
'This is interesting' he thought as he persued Sean slowly.

Leah decided that she had to help Sean. She crept towards Thomas's side, hefting a jagged rock. She hurled it at his trigger hand, and crashed back into the forest, running opposite of Sean's direction.

Wolverstone stood with he's arms crossed thinking then he said Nathen sould i go or do you wish me to stay?

Nathan grunted "be careful" he plainly said.

The rock collided into Thomas's hand as the rifle dropped. he quickly took out his pistol "Cheap shot" he said. His mind focused solely on Sean and getting him. His hand was bloodied and he couldn't move it much, it was stoved. He picked up the rifle and headed towards Sean's direction.

Leah realised that Thomas was focused on Sean. She ran back to get his attention. When she saw his hand was unusable, she threw caution to the wind and rushed him, her hands reaching for the sheath of his combat knife.

I think i will stay untill day brake said wolverstone

Thomas wielded around quickly and pistol whipped her "I have no interest in you!" he shouted. Thomas was dead set on getting Sean, in his mind he was the only worthy prey.

Nathan nodded "Fine by me" he tried to rest but couldn't

The pistol hit her jaw, knocking her out, but she grabbed Thomas's belt on the way down. After a few seconds, she came to, and clinched Thomas's legs.

Thomas struggled to keep steady. Pure adrenaline ran through his veins. he never felt sucha rush ever in his life. He hit her again "You are not who I am after!" he continued to shout.

Sean was a distance away, his arm bleeding. he heard the shouting and wonderd what was happening. He stopped and headed back to see Thomas hitting Leah. He waited for an opportunity...

This time Leah weathered the blow without going out, and she reached up Thomas's body and found his neck. She wrapped her forearm around it, locked it down with her other arm, and started squeezing on the arteries and trachea.

Thomas felt her hands squeeze around his neck. the gun dropped to the ground. This was Sean's chance, he began to rush forward but slipped on a rock. One arm tried to pry her off. The other repeatedly bashed her in the side with incredible force.

OCC: Is she behind him?

Brooke and Jason walked along through the dark. Following the north star. Brooke collapsed.

"Brooke!"

"I'm okay, I'm okay." She leaned to the side and threw up.

"That's it we are stopping for the night."

"We can't."

"Come on we'll climb a tree."

He pulled her up along side him. They found a nice branch to support them both. Brooke leand against him. "Daddy? What if the hunters come back when we're all asleep?"

"Well I'll stay awake."

"All night?"

"All night."

Thomas felt her hands squeeze around his neck. the gun dropped to the ground. This was Sean's chance, he began to rush forward but slipped on a rock. One arm tried to pry her off. The other repeatedly bashed her in the side with incredible force.

OCC: Is she behind him?
OOC: Yeah.
In response to the repeated elbow shots to her ribs, she twisted in the other direction, sending them both sprawling. Leah quickly moved to pass Thomas's guard (i.e. straddle him above his legs, a very dominant position in a fight)

OCC: Are his arms incapacitated by this?

OOC: No, but Leah can control the movement of Thomas's body with her legs, so he can't use his arms very well, and she has easy access to his face. She'll take advantage by punching him in the jaw, which will make him go unconcious quickly.
I gotta go, hopefully I'll be able to RP tomorrow. If not... Leah just retreats into the trees, alright?

Thomas was on the ground. She curled like a snake around him. he could barely move his arms. And one of the hands was busted up. He struggled and thrashed around. Finally, he head butted her...

Sean got back to his feet, the pain in his arm was surging out blood. It was a bad cut bu he tried to keep moving towards Leah and that bastard Bellmont.

Benjamin sr. saw Brooke and Jason approaching, and stood up. "Welcome weary travelers, I have food!"

Benjamin jr. was using plant coloring to pain his traps camoflage.

Oliver was sleeping, Jannet huming a song...Oliver might not make it.

Thadeus got up from his camp, ate a portion of the food his father gave him, and headed for the docks.

Alex was inside, worryed about his brothers, father, sister, and mother.

Daphine had ventured toward a cliffside, and planned to spen the night there, she tied her wounds with pieces of her skirt.

Jason saw them and grew exicted. Nither of them could sleep longer.

"Hello. Good we found more, I was starting to worry everyone was picked off."

"So," Maria began, "It's great that the bleeding has stopped, I guess all I can do is rest?"

Nathan looked up "Yep, you just rest. You did well today despite the setback we both endured" he said. Nathan strained and got to his feet.

Maria sighed more than a bit disapointed, "Yeah, I guess this means I'm out of the hunt either for the whole time or just a few days I do not know."
Maria sat up on the table, wincing as she did so, "Can I have some help getting to a safe place to sleep? It is not in my nature to ask such a thing, but given my condition... God, I'm glad that bitch is dead."

Nathan hobbled over to her "Sure" he replied "I won't tell anyone you needed any help". He helped Maria to her feet and they staggered down the hallway. There was a windowless bedroom on the left and he opend the door.
"How's this?" he asked with a hint of pain in his voice.

Maria sighed in relief as she saw the bedroom, "This is great, thanks a lot for your help. You better go and get some rest yourself, you aren't looking so good."
Maria gave him a quick kiss on the cheek before going in the room, shutting the door, and then looking around the sparcely furnished room. There was a bed, side table and a small closet that didn't hold anything that Maria could see. Wanting something to block the door in case someone may come in the room in the middle of the night, Maria moved with all her strength the side table. It was light, so if the door were to open Maria would hear it and she'd be able to defend herself if needed. Given her much weakened state, Maria yawned and fell in bed, knowing she was safe for the moment.
'Thank god I'm a light sleeper.'
That was Maria's last thought as she fell asleep in the bed.

"No problem" Nathan staggered to a chair in the study, a revolver in hand. He sunk into the chair. The bleeding stopped but the pain only worsened. He was tough, though and resisted it. It was now night and the insects stired outside, it was still warm inside the mansion.

Jannet went up to Oliver, she had been treating him the whole night. "Oliver...? Oliver...? OLIVER?!?!?"

Ben sr. served his geusts some breakfast. "So are you two okay, any wounds?"

Ben jr. ventured out, and returned with a few coconuts, and tropical fruit.

Daphine got up in the morning... She was alive...ALIVE!

Thadeus could see the docks, another 10 kilometers away...the boat must be there...it HAD to be there.

OCC: Sorry Liberated New Ireland.

Thomas continued to struggle against leah. Her legs were contracting around his waist. He head butted her again. This time Leah's grip lossened and seh fell off of him. Thomas was dizzy and in much pain. He coughed as blood came from his lips. As Leah fell out of the way, there stood Sean. His left arm covered and blood. Thomas wiped the blood from his lip and licked it and smiled. he stood to his feet.
"Mr.Leary...my compliments" Thomas said, panting heavily, trying to refocus.
"Let her go" he replied, eyes fixed. Leah managed to get out of their way and into the jungle.
"She doesn't concern me, she's not worthy!" Thomas shouted.
"Get ready, Bellmont" Sean said with a serious and determined tone.
"On guard, Leary..."

"Well a few, but we are well patched up. We have to get off this island. Some how."

Benjami sr. moved out, and headed for the mansion.

The hunter and the hunted stared each other down. They made no moves. Sean's muscles tightened his nostrils flared. An eery smile came over Thomas's face as they charged one another. They collided with great force but Thomas was on the ground with Sean ontop. The young man battered Thomas but he managed to get loose. Wrapped around Sean and began to try and use a sleep hold. Sean's fingers dug into the hunter's skin, blood came out. Thomas let go and took a punch to the gut. They battled across the small clearing next to the river. It was a fierce contest of will and might. Both were battered, bruised, and bleeding. They exchanged blows and misses with one another. They continued fighting...

Benjami sr. moved out, and headed for the mansion.

Jason was baffled by the sudden rush of Ben Sr.

"Wait a minute where are you going?"

Both of the fighters were exhausted. The battle raged for a long time and they were evenly matched. Sean knocked Thomas back who stumbled into the bushes. Sean stomped forwards, fire in his eyes when Thomas picked up a large branch and wacked Sean in the gut, knocking him to the ground in pain. His adrenaline was gone...and soon his life would too.
''You're...a worthy...opponent" Thomas said in an exhausted tone. he dragged the tree limb behind him. he raised the tree limb, ready to deal the final blow, it came down but luckily Sean got out of the way. He stood up and clocked Thomas a few times. The weary hunter was hardly alive and Sean punched him in the face with as much force as he could muster. The blow knocked Thomas into the river which carrid him away. His body bashed against the rocks. Sean staggered and colla[sed on the ground.

Thousands of miles away, Marie, Jason's wife, paced the floor anxiously on the phone kept on hold. She thought constantly to her self "Something's happend. Something's wrong." A voice on the other line came up "Customer Affairs."

"Yes, my husband and daughter have gone a crusie and I'm not sure which crusise line. But I'm worried because nither have called me."

She described the planned rout that was told to her by her husband.

"Ma'am non of our ships make any stops at that point. We aren't even sure if that island has anything on it. I tell you what I'll forward your concernes and information to the other lines around here, and see what we can find out."

"Thank you."

She walked to the window and watched her two daughters play in the yard.

Maria still slept in the safe room of the huge house, unaware of the events outside.

"If we don't go, they WILL find us, and KILL us...we have to get to that mansion, then overveiw the area, and plan our attack. The quicker we accomplish this, the more lives we save." Benjamin continued toward the mansion.

Nathan stirred. He was asleep but rocketed awake. He gripped his revolver tightly and strained out of the chair and walked around. Keeping to the walls. He made a drink and bolted it down.
"Damn wounds" he remarked.

Elsewhere, the river flowed. Rocks and branches were jammed throughout it. It was late in the night, almost morning. Everything was silent, except for the insects and water. An arm thrusted out of the water and grabbed a branch...

Ok...I'll just pick up somewhere

Octavius heard the fighting in the forest. He began to have flash backs. He dove on the ground, and started belly crawling through the brush. Images flashed through his mind of the war.
They were ambushed. Workers Party rebels leaped out of the jungle on both sides of his line. His men were slaughtered. He blamed himself.
He finally snapped after hearing the bullets in the forest. He ran. He ran to the last place he heard fire. Hopefully, he would stop somebody else from dying. Hopefully this would help him.

"Your crazy. But I'll follow you. I'm beging to feel I have no choice in this matter. All right do you have any good way to slip in, in mind?"

"Yes I do" said Benjamin sr. "Each of us will move in a differnt direction, then we'll assualt it on all fronts. We should attack to-night when it's dark, if you'd like you could get together as many people as possible before this begins...but it must be to-night!"

Sean staggered into the jungle to conceal himself. The young man collapsed. He was pretty beat up and bleeding. 'I have to save Danny' he thought while trying to fight off the darkness. he was almost about to fall unconsience. The fight was a tough one, Thomas was a strong fighter.

Maria still slept...

Octavius was freaking out. He was rolling, and dodging things that were not there. He finally came upon the unconcious Sean. "O God! They got Bluesaddle, You sons of bitches!!" He leaned close to Sean. "Don't worry corporal, your gunna make it, do you here me, your gunna make it, the choppers will be here soon"

Sean was in a daze he looked up to see a man speaking about something weird.
"W-What are you...talking about?" he managed to ask. barely able to open his eyes.

"O thank God, hes gunna live! Let's go get those comunist sons of bitches!!" He yelled, breaking of a large branch, planning on using it as a club.

"C-Communists?" Sean asked. he struggled but managed to sit up against a tree. His left arm was numb and bleeding. His lip was bleeding as well. One or two of his ribs may be bruised as well. "What communists?"

"What are you talking about corporal. The communist who just ambushed you. Man you musta took one to the head or somehting."

Sean raised his right arm and grabbed Octavius by the shirt and brought him closer "There are...no communists! Just some crazy hunters!" he exclaimed, his voice hoarsed.

"Wh-what. Hunters. Where th- o my god, what am i doing. The flashback. I could have sworn you were one of my corporals. Well...what do we..do?"

"Well...you're crazy and I believe I've suffered a concussion. We're not in too good of a condition" Sean replied, glad to see Octavius come to his senses. All of a sudden he realized something "Leah" he said in a low tone "Leah! Where are you?!" he called out. He didn't see what happened to her.

"Do we know the hunters position?" he asked, stll in shock that he was not back in Exponent, fighting guerillas.

"I don't know where the fuck anyone is!" he shouted "All I know is I'm fucked up physically and you're fucked up mentally!" Sean was getting frustrated by his current situation. Danny was trapped somewhere in the mansion and there were still hunters out there.

Benjamin jr. stumbled into Octavius, and Sean. "Oh, how good it feels to see someone not trying to kill me!" he ran up. "Here, I have bandages, and food for Sean. And these herbs oughtta give him enery...so what have you two been up to?" he asked.

"I...I think I killed Bellmont. Leah was around here but I don't see her anywhere now" Sean replied, he winced in pain as he tried to move. All he wanted to do was get Danny and escape this hellish nightmare.

"Holy Jesus, they are everywhere, get down he has a bomb!" he shouted when the boy ran into him, before diving away. He straightened himself up, remembering he wasnt in the army now. "I'm sorry. I just...I just, I dont even know. Where did you get these bandages from?"

"Well" said Ben reaching into a pack "there wasn't a weapon unfortunately, and..well there's a compass, a map, and a radio...a broken radio..."

Jason was ready for a hunt, he prepared his gear for hours untill Mr.Bellmonet gives him permission to start the hunt with some games...

You could have Jason been hunting but not finding anyone or anything. Maybe he comes back to the house and finds out about Maria? I don't know, it's only a suggestion.)

Benjamin jr. sharpened his wooden spear with a rock, enough to pierce through a man easily.

Benjamin sr. headed towards the mansion, having all the natural weapons he could muster, he camoflaged himslf wtih dirt, and leaves, blending especially well with dark. He peeked through the windom from behind a bush...waiting...sweating...

Daphine had made a shelter out of some bark.

Thadeus inscribed the word "HELP" in large print on the ground.

Oliver had recovered somewhat, and was sleeping.

Jannet was bathing in the stream nearby. Washing her face she contemplated, a plan. She got out off the water to check to see if her clothes were drying properly, then waded back in...Oliver needed a bath too, but he was FAR to weak for now.

Jason moved through the jungle silently, before he was to hunt he had to know the terrian. He made his way back to the house to see what had happened. Jason entered the study and seen Nathan sitting in a chair with a pistol in hand,

"Whats happened?...Nathan?"

He removed his cadpat balaclava and moved closer, he reached under his arm and clicked the saftey off his glock.....

Jason too took the effort to camoflauge as well as he could. "This won't be easy. We need to keep the element of suprise."

OOC: Yeah Kulikovo needs to post and then i can afterwards.....

Nathan looked up "Mr.Hart. We ran into a little trouble earlier. Ms.Santiago is in that room over there. She's pretty beat up. We've scored two kills today, so that's something" he replied, wincing in pain.

OCC;Good to have you back

Jason made his way over to Nathan,

"Where are you injured sir? and Ms Santiago?...which one of them attacked her, they will regreat laying a hand on her.."

Jason slid his rifle down his arm holding it in his right hand,

"Who have you killed?"

Nathan winced a little "Oh, I've suffered minor scrapes and bruises" he chuckled "The attacker of Ms.Santiago is dead. And some other prey is dead as well" he replied.

Jason walked over to a window and peeked out,

"I am going to cheak on her..."

He paused...

"We still have the kids right?"

"Yes...yes we do" Nathan replied with a hint of thought in his tone.

Benjamin sr. readied his rock-tipped club. He would swing at the next hunter to come through that door...

Jannet created a blanket made out of leaves for Oliver, and started building a raft. After she build this raft...then perhaps Oliver and her could make it to the docks, and find a boat. She picked up her garments, and tore a piece of them off, to bind a part of the raft.

Bejamin jr. turned to Octavius: "well, I don't know about you, but I think we should infilterate the mansion, get weapons, and possibly phones, then get the-hell-outta here..."

Thadeus was covering all the tracks of his, he could find. Then, he would find a perfect hiding spot, and stay there.

Daphine made a trench, then covered it up with leaves...she remembered what her husband told her, and placed wooden spikes at the bottom.

Sean grunted and winced as he struggled to get to his feet. His muscles tightened and the adrenaline began to pump again. The battered young man began to hobble down the trail with the others.
"We have to get the kids" he said.

Jason walked into Maria's room and looked at her, he stood in the doorway leaning on the frame,

"Next time any of them go to hurt you..they have to get through me first.."

Jason said quietly...he continued speaking low so not to wake her,

"Im sorry for not being at your side, you could have been killed and it would have been somthing i could have prevented...i have killed scary people in my life and this average group of people will not get the better of me..they will fall under my knife, my bullets will blow a hole in them the size of a golf ball...bring em' on.."

Jason was upset that Maria had been attacked, now it became somwhat personal....his mind went to a totally different level.

He was ready to hunt and kill with no remorse, he had advanced skills that would give him a better chance of getting out of this..when people felt threatened they reacted different, ready to fight for their lives. Jason stood there thinking,

'I would love for one of them to come at me hand to hand..'

Nathan sat there, staring at the wall. 'I'm slipping' he thought. A few years ago Nathan wouldn't have messed up like that. But, it felt good to bash that bitch's head in.
"I wonder how Mr.Wolverstone is doing" he said aloud but to no one specific "And I wonder where Thomas is". Nathan hadn't been in contact with Thomas for over several hours.

Brooke assisted in making the raft. She tore pieces of her own clothes, and collected branches.

The bleeding in Sean's arm stopped. He took a piece of cloth and wrapped it arround the wound. The cloth was soaked. He was very tired and exhausted but he had to press on. The mansion was getting closer. He didn't even know how he'd get off the island yet but didn't care.
"We...should go around to the side" Sean uttered silently to the others.

Inside the mansion Nathan leaned up against the pool table. He held his revolver in anticipation. A sawed-off breach loading shotgun lay on the pool table.

"Well" said Jannet putting her hands on her hips. "It should float, and get us to the docks, if we're extremely lucky, it could even take us to another inhabited island, where we could get help."

Benjamin sr. searched for an unlocked door, where no hunters were present.

Benjamin jr. started to depart. "I'll be back guys...I hope...you're certainly welcome to come if you want."

Daphine started a fire, and made smoke-signals.

Thadeus found a large hollow tree, he went inside, then devoured then rest of the food his father gave him, and drank some water he had gathered from the river in a empty soda-can he had in his pocket.

Oliver opened one eye, he winced in pain. He stared at Broke, then squinted his eyes, and fell unconcious.

(OOC: Maria had a small table blocking the door, so if the door were to open she would hear it. However, since your post is made i'll just let it go..she's also a light sleeper.)

Maria thought she heard voices, but she couldn't make out what was being said. A small moan left Maria's lips and then she tried to sit up; wincing at the pain.
"Hello?"
With some difficulty Maria got out of bed, gritting her teeth against the pain as she walked towards the door.
"Hello; Jason is that you?"
She could see the outline of a man, and the man had what sounded like Jason's voice.

Octavius followed Sean. He still had his club. "Alright, you want me to lead?"

Sean winced in pain "No, I'm fine. We just need to get into that one room, get a phone that'll work and possibly free the kids" he replied as they continued to walk quietly.

Leah woke up. She was curled at the base of a tree when she came to. She wracked her brains trying to remember how she got there.
As she thought, she slowly tried to stand. Pain shot down her back, and she spasmed back into a ball on the ground.
"The fight..." Leah said to no one. She slowly took account of her injuries. One battered back, numerous scratches, a large trauma wound on top of her head, a bruise on her temple, another on her shoulder... I must be a pretty sight.
After a few minutes, she managed to stand again and she got to the edge of a river before collapsing. She looked at her face in the water. The bruise on her temple reached her eye, and her lips were split. She realized that she didn't want to be static, and that she couldn't move worth a damn.
Leah rolled into the river and let the current take her downstream.

Nathan cupped his hand to his ear. He waited patiently "Mr.Hart, I believe we have visitors..." he said in a low and cold voice.

Sean and Octavius made it to a side entrance into the kitchen. It was empty. Sean took a knife off of the cutting board and staggered slowly through the kitchen.
"Where could the kids be?" he asked in a quiet voice.

Benjamin jr., and sr. moved in quitely from a bedroom window, sneaking in slowly, and hiding under the bed.

Nathan stretched his back and yawned. He bumped into a suitcase and caught it before he fell over. 'Dont want to alert them' he thought. Nathan knew that there were other people in the mansion and was ready for them...

Jason was with them as well. He used hand signles to figure out the game plan, and if he or anyone should move at all.

Jason nodded and removed the glock .20 from it's holster then flipped it down to automatic,

"No problem Nathan..im on it.." he moved towards Maria,

"Go back in that room Maria, we got unwanted company..."

Jason moved up against a wall and waited silently.....he slowly bent his knees a bit settling into a stance...

Maria silently nodded as she retreated back in the room, quietly shutting the bedroom door. She knew she was beat up, some of her cuts were starting to bleed again as she moved the table back in front of the door so it would give her a few seconds to grab her gun before whoever bad could open the door. The young woman climbed in to bed, reaching under it as she pulled out her pistol.
'I forgot I had this.'
Maria thought as she loaded her gun full and waited with the safety off. She laid the gun on the floor, leaned back and waited...

Sean and Octavius skirted the wall of the kitchen. Sean had his knife ready. The young man's heart raced ever faster as he approached the door which led to the rest of the mansion. He stopped 'What is they're in the mansion?' he thought. But, Danny needed to be saved and he continued silently and steadily.

Benjamin sr. got out from under the bed, and peeped out the door, controling his breating, in order to be silent. He ran toward where to hunted's weapons were kept.

Benjamin jr. ran over to Ocatvius, shoving his weapon in front of him, he proceeded with the group.

OCC: The hunters rooms are locked and the weapons are in a special room in the basement...no one's getting a gun that easy ;)

Jason listened carefully, he remained calm then silently crossed the room wearing his special slipper type shoes which were designed for the whole purpose of sneaking up on people. He glanced back at Nathan who sat in the chair relaxed, Jason was not scared of what these people might do but knew how people could get if cornered.

"Locked. They must keep a stash around some place. It could be in any room in this house."

OCC: Nathan is the room with their luggage. The kitchen is down towards the side of the mansion. I don't have a map or anything.

Sean peered out of the kitchen. he remained close to the wall and looked out. He couldn't see much, only the wooden floor.
'Dammit, where are they?' he thought. He brought the knife up close to him.

Wolverstone plopped his suit of kevlar, on and said : "Jason, Maria, I don't about you folks, but I'm getting the hell outta here. Let's get in my self-inflating rubbber raft, and scoot." Wolverstone shot the wall behind him, and tried to make hole large enough to crawl through.

Jason picked up what looked like a priceless looking vase. Okay not much for bullets, but who knows, it may have some use.

Nathan sat with his revolver, waiting. This was the most interesting hunt he'd ever been on but he kept his cool. It was important to stay cool.

"Sean, where the fuck are we going? Shouldn't we like I do know, look for a way off of this island?"

He moved stealthly through the house. He needed to find his bag, with that phone in it. But where was it? Where would they put the bags?

Sean looked back "I didn't ask you guys to come. I want to get the kids who are locked away somewhere in this hellhole" he replied quietly "You'uns can get outta here but I have to get Danny". He took a deep breath and closed his eyes.
'What the hell do I do now?' he asked himself.

"I...I can't leave anyone behind, not again. I'm staying with you, but do you know were you are going?"

Jason shook his head to Wolverstone but didn't speak back in fear that he might have been heard. He peeked into the hall and his eyes scanned across the wooden floor then locked on a shape against a wall at the end of the corridor, he aimed the glock and opened into automatic fire....peices of the wall flew everywhere...

The shots blew through the wall, Sean panicked and hit the ground. Kicking the door shut "Fuck!" he said "You'uns get out!" he hugged the wall low and tried to think of what to do. He didn't have a gun. He was a policeman but not a professional killer like the hunters.

"No. I am getting those kids" Octavius said. He went over and started boiling water. He fillled up a bunch of glass vases full of the water. "Take anything you can throw, and let that son of a bitch have it"

Benjamin sr. returned, carrying a machete to augment his arsenal.

Benjamin jr. heard the shots from Wolverstone, and went to look for a communications room.

The whole scene seemed like something from out of an action movie. Bullets flew into the walls. Only, Sean wasn't a typical action hero. He looked around the kitchen, frantic to find anything to use. 'Lighter fluid!' he thought and saw some used for a charcoal grill. he grabbed it. The thing of it was small and he put it in his back pocket. There was a box of matches as well.
'This is perfect' he thought but decided to use it later.

Jason quickly changed his magizine and look back in the room at Nathan,

"Aahhaha..o shit..."

He then yelled..

"Common! what are you waiting for..i wanna get paid ahaha"

He held the glock towards the direction he fired waiting...

Nathan looked up at him calmly "Mr.Hart, please be so kind as to go to the basement, there you will find the children..." He replied coldly like a machine analyzing the scenario and methodically calculating every possible outcome.

OOC: Reallydrunk, think we can get a fist fight going here?

Wolverstone sprinted out the back of the house toward the ocean, holding his H&K MP5 in his hands, and wishing good luck in his mind to Jason.

Jason stood up and moved through the study and towards the basement, he moved quietly through the mansion on high alert he came to the door leading downstairs. At the bottom the childern came into veiw,

Daphine heard all the shooting, and approached the mansion, she thought she saw Wolverstone, but... She ran toward a timber-lodge, and found an axe outside...she charged toward the front door of the mansion...

Nathan calmly moved from his position to a more suitable one in the room with the luggage he silently moved throught the luggage and then waited. He was methodical in his planning and was ready. Hie revolver trained on the entrance.

Jason stepped back and leaned on the wall screwing his face up in pain he raised the gun at the kid,

"Spaghetti..if you do somthin' like that again kid your little friend is gonna get to see it..it's quite cool, really.."

Sean looked around to see where to go. There was a closed bedroom but he decided not to go into it, the could be another hunter in there. All was silent, the gunfire ceased, the one hunter was gone.
"Let's move" he said and they continued to move cautiously throught the large open hallway. He looked over to the one door.
"This is where they put our luggage" he said. He felt his energy leaving him slowly, he lost alot of blood.

Jason finally got down to the basement, after taking a few wrong turns. He saw the results of the melle. "What did I miss?"

He eventually caught up with Sean (sorry if this is off, I'm a little lost and I'm trying not to miss out on the end)

He saw he was weak. "Hey you okay?"

Jason stayed in the basement, he grabbed the rafters and pulled himself up and lay across the beam,

He then wondered if Maria was ok, this hunt was not going acording to plan at all..if nessasary he would rescue Maria and get off the island..

Sean looked up to him "I'm...fine" he said. He pointed over to the one door "The luggage is in there. There must be a phone in one of the bags" he replied.

OCC: The hunter and kids are in the basement, everyone else is on the first floor.

Sean moved along the wall. He tried to search for Danny. he knew he was in the basement but didn't know where the door to the basement was. He limped over to one door and put his hand on the nob and tried to open it...

He opend the door, and peered around inside. The coast was clear.

Jason searched through the bags frantically, tyring to find his own. He needed that phone.

He lowered himself with stealth and smiled, he disasembled the glock quickly dropping it to the floor...

He looked at the man laying on the floor...

"Umm hmm..get up.."

Nathan waited patiently as the man searched throught the bags. he leveled his revolver with the person. The hunter was about to pounce. The revolver roared and the bullet hit the man in the side. A smile went across his face.

(ouch, well I'm guessing I'm not quite dead yet)

"Ahh!" Man did that ever hurt. This was bad, he crawled away not knowning how long he would have before the gunner would peer around the corner with his devlish grin of sucess. He couldn't leave Brooke, he couldn't. He crawled into a hide-a-space. He knew it wouldn't really keep him hidden. But something was by his side, a long metal pole? He picke it up, and made his move further from the gunman, he needed a good vantage point.

Octavius stood up, and turned around. He had the look of a madman in his eyes "General Steelblade, I will finally have my revenge you bastard!" he yelled. He hit Jason in the jaw. "That was for Corporal Foxdagger"

Maria could hear footsteps move down the hall, she quickly sat up yet said nothing. Her fully loaded gun was leviled at the door, the table against it.

Nathan cocked the revolver calmly and fired once more into the man who tried to charge him. 'One for me' he said to himself. He took in a deep breath.

Sean noticed the nob would turn but it wouldn't budge. He rammed into the door with his right shoulder. He recoiled back and tried again.

Octavius reached for the wooden club he had brought with him from outside. He got up quickly, and in the same motion, swung the club into Jason's head. "That is for sergeant Greensword"

Jason fell to the ground. He failed Brooke.

Brooke couldn't wait anymore. She had a bad feeling her father was in trouble or something. She couldn't be sure. She took off to the house. It was a mess, ransacked hallway, blood stained foot prints. What was she doing? She couldn't go in with out some sort of defense. she wen't back out side, and what to find other than a sprinkler rod. She stealthly moved inside, to look for her father.

Wolverstone inflated his raft, then boarded, asluting the island one last time as he left. OOC: Nice RP'ing with you.:cool:

Jason raised his hand to block the swing and it struck him in the wrist bone,

He shook his left hand taking a deep breath,

He lowered down into a stance then came at Octavius letting combo's go rapidly...

Maria knew that the door was the only way out, since the room had no windows with in it. She heard the first two bangs against the door, and she felt that the table would sooner or later give and move. Maria's dark eyes gazed around the room, seeing a closet on the other side of the room. Maria carefully and quietly stood, walking over to the closet and fitting herself inside it. Her gun out of sight, Maria could still look out of the closet door with out being seen, at least for right away.

OOC: I would have shot right through the door and leveled the bastard..lol

Sean got out of the way as the Benjamins rammed through the door. He moved away believeing they had a controll of the situation there. He went to where the luggage was, he heard two shots earlier and crept up to the door. Inside, Nathan stood up against a wall, reloading. he didn't like to have less that six bullets in his revolver at any time.

Benjamin jr. ran downstairs, and attacked Jason, bashing him with a piece of the piano.

Ben sr. got behing the cart, and shoved as hard as he could.

The Exponent military taught its men to fight dirty, and this was just what Octavius did. As Jason was getting close, Octavius kicked him as hard as he could in the balls. "That is for Cpl. Hart. She was only a girl you slime"

Brooke saw the cracked door, and a body. She didn't recognize the body right away. But it appeard to have shallow breath (for dramatic effect, I know he really is dead and gone) She had no idea if the shooter could be in the room or not, there was a heavy chance she could get shot her self. She tried something both stupid and risky. She tapped around with the poll

Sean saw Brooke and siezed her "Don't go in there!" he yelled and drew her back "It's not safe, go hide somewhere". Sean didn't want to see her get hurt.

Jason dropped to his knees but quickly drew the .38 from his leg holster and fired four shots into the chest of Octavius,

"AhhHHH!! thats twice damn it! FUCK"

He was struck with a piano peice and crashed to the ground, he rolled over and pulled the tactical knife from his tac vest jamming it in the foot of the attacker..he pulled it out and watched the guy fall..

"Ahh..shit!" he cussed while crawling towards the wall..

He sat on his ass back against the wall holding the .38 and knife...

"Stay where you are or i'll fucking kill you! i had enough of this shit!"

Brooke obyed. She really didn't want to die, but her father told her of the phone he found. She needed to get off this island.

Benjamin, hearing shots raging, was forced to run back up stairs to assist his father.

The Benjamins, together with Daphine's help, smashed at the door.

Octavius fell to his knees. "You won, again...." he muttered. He looked up at Jason. "Can you at least do me this favor...I have heard you are a gentleman, general...give this to my wife" he said, holding a small box. He leaned against a wall, and was bleeding pretty badly

Sean took out the lighter fluid. he stepped closer to the doors edge. hearing the yelling made Nathan drop a bullet and bent down to pick it up. Sean heard the bullet drop and he rushed in. Nathan looked up. Sean had fire in his eyes. he squeezed hard on the can, spraying Nathan with lighter fluid. The hunter tried to raise his revolver and fired off a round. It hit a wall. Sean struck a match and flicked it to Nathan. The lit match hit Nathan and flames shot up. "AAAHHH!!!" Nathan yelled horribly as fire consumed him. The young man staggered to his feet and saw Nathan turn into a fireball. He ran outside and to Brooke "Get outta here!" he yelled.

Octavius fell to his knees. "You won, again...." he muttered. He looked up at Benjamin. "Lieutenant, take this, give it to my wife..." he said, pulling out a little box and holding it out. As soon as Benjamin took it, he collapsed

Jason wiped sweat from his forehead with his sleeve,

Maria could hear more people outside the door, banging against it as she waited in the closet. From where she stood, she couldn't judge on how many people there were...

Sean walked back into the room with the burning corpse. It was fiery and stunk. He coughed and coughed as he walked through. Throwing some bags of luggage out so that if there was a phone it wouldn't be destroyed. A few feet away there was Nathan's revolver. he picked it up, the revolver was a little warm but he took it. there were only five shots left. he emerged, just in shock of what he did.

Jason sat on the floor watching blood cover the floor, he looked towards the stairs then grabbed the peices of his glock laying on the floor beside him. He put it back togeather and slipped a mag in, he cocked it...

He looked over at the dead man laying there, he seen dog tags that had come out of his shirt..

"You were a soldier..thats why you had a half decent hit...humph.."

He got to his feet and smashed out a window along the foundation, he pulled himself out into the grass and sighed..

"Shiit..."

Benjamin jr. ran out at full speed, picking up Daphine, and dashing out the front door.

Ben sr. covered his mouth and nose, and followed his son, knocking over a priceless antique.

Brooke didn't run very far. She was half expecting an explosion, but thank goodness that didn't happen. "Have you seen my father?" She asked to Sean

Jasons morales and love for Maria kicked in, he dropped back into the basement and blew the lock off the cage..he smelt smoke..

He grabbed both kids and pushed them through the window outside, he then moved towards the stairs...

'They are only kids..' he said quietly...

Octavius was alone, and bleeding out. He was unable to move. Nobody took his box. He lost again. Noone would find him, and he would die, forgotten, like his men.

Sean didn't want to say anything. Her father's death would be too much "No...I haven't. Just get outta here! get far away!" henyelled as he held the revolver. It was time for him to find the kids and kill anyone who got in his way. All shred of conscience was gone. He was no longer a stranger to death but began to realize how close death was to him and everyone else. He cept through the mansion.

The Benjamins and Daphine jumped over a log, and ducked behind it.

Brooke foze. "What do you plan on doing with that gun man? Take it easy."

Sean heard a shot coming from behind a door 'that must be the basement' he thought and hugged the wall.

Danny walked out of the cell and looked up to jason with a mean glare. "Why are you doing this?" he asked the tall man.

Jason stopped and lowered himself by Octavius,

"God damn it..what the fuck.. you too...lets go, although i don't think your gonna make it soldier..!" he yelled then picked the man up over his shoulder..

He stuffed him through the window best he could, at least he was outside..

He bent over and picked up a small box then placed it in his pocket..

Sean looked at her "I'm going to do whatever it takes to find the kids" he plainly replied, no emotion.

After a few seconds of no banging, Maria heard the running footsteps go away from her door.
'I wonder what scared them off?'
She thought...until she smelled the smoke.
"Shit," she swore as the smell got stronger and stronger. Maria still carrying her gun, came out of the closet and began to move the table out of the way to the door. She opened the bedroom door, not seeing anyone outside accept for the black thick smoke. The air smelled of burning flesh and smoke. The woman took off running, running until she came upon the front door and outside of the burning house.

Jason looked the kid in the eyes and couldn't say a word to him,

"Im not a murderer...just go damn it! before i change my mind!!"

Jasons only worry was Maria..he had to make sure she made it..

Sean wheeled around and fired a shot off ''Don't move! Drop the gun!" he shouted to Maria. he cocked the gun, he would shoot her dead if she did anything wrong.

"I understand. We need to call for help did you find the phone. If you give it to me, I can take it back to camp and call."

"You...your name is...danny..right?" Octavius weezed out, looking at the little scared boy in front of him.

Maria shouted as she heard his voice, however she dared not take her eyes from the man that pointed the gun at her.

Sean was in a tough place. There was no way out of this. His heart raced as he thought of what to do...he could think of nothing. Sean dropped the revolver and kicked it away. He looked over to Jason and saw Danny.
"Danny!" he shouted "Are you alright?" he asked looking to him, ignoring Jason.

Sean then looked to Jason. "Just let Danny go...please" he said in a resigned tone. His body ached with pain and he was exhausted and now began to give up.

Brooke was now frozen with terror. She was right in the middle. She hopped they put their guns down.

As Sean dropped the revlover and kicked, it landed close to her foot. She picked it up, and kept it by her side.

OCC: Don't shoot Sean, I got a post coming. A real plot twister.

"We don't kill kids," Maria flattly said, still holding the gun even though Sean had dropped his.

"Mr.Hart!" a familiar voice called out. A figure stepped into the mansion. It was Thomas. He looked like he traveled through hell tiself. "You and Ms.Santiago may go. You both have done well. Now, leave Mr.Leary to me!" Thomas was determined to finish his fight with Sean. Sean's face went pale, believeing he already killed Thomas but he must've survived somehow.

While Jason walked he opened the small box to reveal two medals, a ring and a picture of a women, for the first time sence the actual first ever time Jason had remorse about killing that man..but it was only going to be one of them that left this island alive and he knew that for a fact.

'He might of even taken me if i hadn't shot him..' he thought..'willpower..'

The fire began to spread. It consumed all the books, tophies and the mansion. It hadn't spread all over but was still burning. The two men stared each other down. Fire blazed in their eyes and around them. Blood and sweat rolled down Sean's face. Bruises covered his body. he'd been through hell and was now about to face the devil himself...Bellmont. Thomas stood opposite, fists clenched. He never felt such a rush. And never felt such respect for a prey. Thomas took in a deep breath, soaking in the moment, enjoying it. behind him he had two sabers in their scabbards. He tossd one to the ground in front of Sean.
"Let's fight like honorable men" he said with a smile.
"Get ready, Bellmont" Sean replied, unsheathing the saber.

The two warriors charged. Their sabers connecting in a loud clank. The blades grinded and brought the two advesaries closer.
"I've really enjoyed matching wits with you" Thomas said, grinding his teeth and smiling. Sean slipped a little and Thomas's blade slid on Sean's arm. Making a gash. Sean stepped back wincing in pain. They went at it again. They battled across the place. their blades connecting and slashing. It was truly an awe. Thomas was a far more experienced swordsman but he was injured and tired too. The fire roared and grew as they battled. A slash just missed Sean as he side stepped, trying to get behind the hunter. But Thomas easily countered. It was a tough bout. Both of them were tired, bloodied, and bruised. Sean staggered back, a blade came towards him but he ducted and rolled. Thomas ran after him, slashing at the prey but missing. The young man got back to his feet and knocked Thomas back.

''I...must admit...you're a worthy opponent. I've never fought a prey like you before" he said with a tired smile, trying to catch his breath. Thomas raised his saber and charged. Sean fell back to miss the strike and did. His saber sunk into Bellmont's belly. Blood began to trickle out of his body. Sean jumped to his feet as Bellmont staggered back. he winced in pain and grunted as he tried to pull the blade out.
"Good show...Mr.Leary" he said. The light was beginning to leave his eyes. The room seemed to spin around as he collapsed. The hunter was dead. Sean breathed heavily. he held his arm which was bleeding heavily. The weary man staggered out of the burning mansion...

Maria slightly soften, "Yeah, that woman kind of looks like my brother's wife, that's what I thought of."
