"Hunted?!" he exclaimed "That's impossible!". It was impossible in his mind for such a thing to happen. Slowly, he began to come to terms. His upmost concern was finding Danny and getting the hell off this island.
Leah got up and started stretching. "Listen, when they let us out of these cages, we have to run fast. As soon as you can, get into the tree line, then keep low and keep quiet. These guys carry themselves like proffessionals, and if they see you, they will kill you. Understand?"

Sean hardly heard her. All the poor man could think about was finding Danny. Guilt swirled through him 'I should have never have brought him'. He was brought back to reality.
"T-There has to be a reasonable explination for all of this. They can't possibly be going to hunt us!". Humans hunting humans was somehting he never thought about. He read The Most Dangeroius Game and remembered the sory...it bg=egan to make sense, but he didn't want to come to terms with it.

To Sari Ehat, humans hunting humans... she could understand it.
"We need to keep calm. Even IF they want to hunt us, they'll probably give us a 'sporting chance'."

"Damn it, Sean!" She kicked a cage bar for emphasis. "You're an adult, act like one! If you break down and start crying, they're just gonna kill you. How are you going to help your nephew then?"

The sound of the cage being hit knocked some sense into Sean. "You're right" he said in a low voice.

How am I going to help Danny if I begin to break down. I have to stay alive!

He began to take deep, slow breathes which in times of stress helped him to calm down. His mind began to clear a little.

"Did you hear what I told you to do? Get to the tree line, keep quiet."

"Yeah..." he replied. being in tight spaces made him nervous. It wasn't a debilitating fear but it was annoying.

"It'll be daylight soon, I think. Is anyone else up yet?"

Danny awoke. His head was still spinning and he felt groggy. He sat up and looked around the room. The one other boy was on the opposite end, still asleep. Danny stood up but felt a heavy weight. There were chains shackled to his ankle. he tugged on them with all his might but to no avail.
"Uncle Sean?!" he exclaimed "What's happening?!" But, Sean was no where to be found in the room...

Maria shifted, wanting to start the hunt. However she knew that waiting was half the game when it came to hunting.
"It'll be interesting to see the others and how they react to the news," Maria quietly said, she knowing they were close to the hunted. She could hear voices, and then a clang sound against the bars of one of the cages.
Maria looked to Thomas for guidance...

Jason kneeled down and held Brooke's head, up.

"Brooke, I know you can't see me right now but I am right here in front of you, just look dead in front honey. Listen I don't know what is going to happen, but if they open this cage, we are going to run into the jungle. Stay close to me okay?"

She nodded. He hugged her tightly.

Thomas took in a deep breath. The build up to this point excited him. "Now" he said. The door opened. The light from the hallway created a silouette of him. Sean saw the figures standing in the doorway. They were armed he could see. The light almost blinded him. The lights flickered on. Thomas and the other hunters were revealed.

Sean was beside himself in disbelief 'Bellmont? Jason? Maria?' he thought. Reality finally hit him with a mighty blow.

Thomas grinned as he saw the prey 'I trust you all had a nice meal and rest" he said "You are all about to be part of a great sport. As I'm sure you all know I am a hunter. Sadly, I no longer feel the thrill of killing beasts. I've sold my soul and hunt humnas now. You are our prey. You are not the first and not the last. Those gates will open soon. We will give you a fifteen minute head start. The island is large and offers plenty of cover. I suggest you leave as soon as the gate opens" he lectured.

Sean looked up at his cold, stoic face "This is a joke, right?" he asked
"No, I'm deadly serious" Thomas replied, coldly.
"Where's Danny?" Sean demanded.
"He's safe...for the time being"

Sean looked at Maria. he couldn't believe she was a part of this. At dinner she seemed pretty nice. Looks can be decieving.

"You're sick, you know that, really sick." He held Brooke even tighter to him.

"Sick?" Thomas asked. Sick was never a way he described himself "I am not sick. I made up the contest to lure people to this island." he replied.

Sean felt like vomitting. This was unbelieveable. He couldn't comprehend the coldness of Bellmont. His stomach churned with fear and doubt, doubt that he will live.
"W-Why?" Sean asked.
"Why not? Humaans are more dangerous than animals. Humans have the capacity for thought." Thomas was serious in his tone.

"Yeah maybe so but I wouldn't hunt one."

Maria's gaze shifted around at all that were locked up, "You do have 15 minutes you know, surely you can't give up that easly."

"There are two kinds of people in this world: Hunters and the hunted. The hunters are the ones with ambition, who siexe the opportunity." Thomas replied with an air of arrogance "The hunted are the ones' who roll with the punches and are walked over because they lack the capacity to command their own lives"

He set his watch to timer. Preparing to start it.

"Yeah well, we'll just see won't we." He didn't want to say anything else. Now that this was a game of survival, he had to be careful, and possibly keep his opponet two steps back.

Sean's feeling turned to anger. Anger directed towards himself and Bellmont. He hung his head low and stared at the ground, not even taking deep breathes and closing his eyes could calm his mind. Sean looked up at Bellmont, his piercing blue eyes met Bellmont's eyes.
'I must find Danny' he thought. he shot a gaze of anger at Maria.

Octavius looked out from the cage. He was full of rage, rage that he was tricked, rage at the hunters, and rage just that his life really did suck. When the cage opened, he would rush to the jungle. He knew guerilla warfare, and was prepared to wage it.

Oliver: "hey, Octavious you f---ing faggot, you're about to be royally screwed...hunted HAHAHAH!!! But don't worry, I'm sure Jason, who's the only smart guy here will save us..."

"Hunted?" said Jannet. "Dirk are you there? What do you all mean 'hunted?'

Ben Sr. looked around in the darkness: "hunted?"

Ben Jr. felt terrible, he shouldn't have drunk all that wine... "History repeats itself." he said.

Daphine said: "oh that's a great joke hahahah!"

Thadeus was busy calming Alex.

"Jannet they are going to hunt us. Meaning hunt us like a deer or any other animal. I remeber reading this somewhere before. Just get ready to run." Dirk replied. "These bastards are being serious and aren't giving any mercy." Dirk got waiting for the cage to open. Once it opened it was going to run like their was no tommorrow. He made his way over to Jannet and grabbed her face lightly. "We are going make it threw this."

Thomas ran his hand up the stock of his gun and cradled it like an infant. The thrill was surging through him. He could tastes their fear.
"Have you ever heard of the book, The Most Dangerous Game?" he asked "It's one of my favorite"

Benjamin Jr. thought a bit on what was happening: "as I recall, we 'prey' got a 3 hour head start...AND you die...in...the...end..."

Benjamin Sr. was shouting in outrage: "you..you..you'll pay for this! This is illegal!"

Daphine was still laughing.

Oliver: "I'm a hunter, riiight?"

Thadeus thought, he remembered the Rainsford document...

Alex didn't folllow the talk.

Jannet was quickly coming to terms with this terrible reality...

"Then I'll give you all a half hour start" Thomas replied "You can get pretty far in that amount of time" his icy eyes leered at each of his prey. His eyes met Sean's

"Mr.Leary, I trust you are well" he smirked.
"What are you going to do with Danny?" Sean managed to ask.
"Nothing, he's gonna stay here" Thomas plainly replied.

"Aren't you going to let us go no?"Dirk looked at Thomas. He didn't care if he died, but he wasn't going down without a fight.

Wolverstone paced past his prey. This would indeed be a most gratifying exercise. He strapped on all his ammo for his Desert Eagles, and the rest of his guns, and prepared for the hunt.

"Prehaps now Madame Leah, you regret annoying me so? Oliver you shouldn't have acted like a "jirk", and Jannet, oh I WILL kill you..."

Thomas rolled up his sleeves to reveal his watch "It will begin soon" he plainly said.

OOC: Saturday moring, a great RP...WHAT COULD BE BETTER?!

OCC: Most of the hunters aren't on-line. I want them to be on when the hunt begins. Besides, I love the dramatic buildup :D

Wolverstone thought back to his days as a hitman...this was going to be the same thing.

He remembered Leah pulling her gun on him, oh how enjoyable it would be to do the same to her, and pull the trigger.

Oliver was of course, going to be good, he grafittied his desk, and tried to rip off his weapons.

Maria just waited, no emotion on her face. Her expression was blank, she looking down at the pistol that she carried every once in a while. She briefly wondered why Thomas was taking so long, but knew it wasn't her place to ask.

Thomas was enjoying watching his prey question why they were going to be hunted. Uncertainty and fear are more dangerous to a person than a bullet. He took in a deep breath.
"You have a half hour to get as far away as possible-"
"You're a sick bastard!" Sean shouted as he held the cage.
"As I was saying, you will have a half hour then we will begin the hunt. This is survival of the fittest!" Thomas exclaimed. He hit a switch on the wall which opened a metal door on each of the cages. The opening led directly onto the island. "Go!" he shouted. It finally hit the prey that they are prey. Sean's heart raced as he turned to the open island. He looked back and stared at Maria and Bellmont
'I will kill you, Bellmont' he thought. But survivng and finding Danny quickly overtook that thought as he darted out into the jungle as fast as his legs could take him, the others began to run as well.

Thomas turned to Maria "I wanted the fear to build-up in them, sorry to have kept you waiting" he joked.

OCC: And they're off!! :D

The Stone Familly raced along, Benjamin Sr. dragging Daphine, and Thadeus by the arms. Oliver jumped over a mud-pit, and sprinted as fast as he could. Jannet running like an athlete, her under-shirt glued to her by sweat.

Benjamin was remembering his days in Veitnam, it felt just like that. He was runnig flat-out, and he wasn't even panting. Daphine begin to realize this was no joke...

Wolverine smirked to himself, then laughed out-loud.

Maria smirked at Mr. Bellmont however said nothing as she watched the people run.
"The count down begins," Maria said as she took a seat on a nearbye bench, "I remember your orders Mr. Bellmont, injure someone first before the actual killing starts. Am I correct?"

OOC: So, are we waiting 30 minutes in "acual time"?

(OOC: I don't think so, I think we have to wait for Kulikovo to say when the 30 minutes is up in the rp.)

The prey finally took off. Thomas lit a cigar and the smoke billowed up slowly. A smile went across his face as they imagined the day's hunt.

Sean ran at a steady pace, the jungle was twisted and dense with brush but he ran through it anyway. Some thorns tore through his legs but he did not notice the pain. The others were around him, he said nothing. His focus was staying alive and finding Danny.
'Danny's still in the mansion' he thought 'That monster has him'. The heat was rising and the shafts of light came down through the trees. As he ran, all of a sudden there was a drop off which he tumbled down. It was a hill. The young man's body crashed against the ground. He quickly got up even though there was a pain in his shoulder.

Benjamin shouted at everyone running with him: "we should fan out, that way we'll be harder to track." He picked up Thadeus and told Daphine to run.

Oliver had already broken off from the main group, and had come to a ravine, "aww crapper" he said. Oliver looked down at the drob..not good, 300 meters... well, he started climping down, if he lost his grip, he hoped the water would break his fall at the bottom...probably not.

Jannet had heard her father's advice and ran down a stoney path.

Ben jr. stopped a moment to pick-up a heavy stick, then continued, hopping over a tree-stump, then running.

OOC: Does they prey have any food?

OCC: All they have are the clothes on their backs and their wits.

Dirk ran as fast as he could. It reminded him of the time he ran away from the cops. The cops were after him since he was one of the top hacker. He only thought about running. Running he brushed the sided of a tree. He felt the pain on his left side. Dirk felt the sweat on his face. Being in a group was bad. If they found one person the rest were going to die. He hoped that Jannet made it threw this. Dirk wondered where he should go to.

After Sean fell down the small hill he found himself alone. He held his left shoulder which throbbed in pain. 'Where am I?' the thought. The others were no where to be seen. It was best not to stay in that place so he continud running. Running for his life and Danny's.

While Dirk was running he tore off the sleeve of his t-shirt and made a handband. He tied it around his head. Running away still he felt fear. While running he thought he saw someone. He chased after them.

Thadeus wanted to tell his father to put him down, but then remembered that, that would make more footprints. "Dad, you know carrying me will make deeper, and thus easier to find impressions on the ground, we would both be safer alone..." "What?" Benjamin stopped, he couldn't run anymore. "Split up?" he thought...his son had a good point about the deeper footprints. "Can you handle yourself? Are you sure you'll be safe?" "Dad, I KNOW I'll be safer alone..and so will you...and we'll move faster." The two split-up, and Benjamin sr. resumed his running.

The cage opend, Jason hit his watch timer.

Brooke and Jason ran faster, even faster then when they we're persuing a deer or fox. Yes they do hunt, but not humans. And they've never been hunted themselves. Brooke tripped falling to the ground. She freaked when her father ran further. Jason looked back to see his daughter on the ground. He ran back to her. "You all right?" He picked her up quickly, and dashed off with her beside him. Minutes seemed like hours, when they stopped to catch their breath for a moment. "It's been nearly 10 minutes." He pereed around aleartly, just in case they would go back on their word.

"All right let's go." He said to her. And they ran further and further and further into the jungles.


They stopped again several minutes later to catch their breath again.

"Dad, what are we going to do?"

"We need to get out of here. I don't know how, but we need to. Stay close to me no matter what okay? I will never leave you behind. I don't care if you get so tired I have to carry you."

"What if we're cornerd, what if I'm cornerd."

"I will kill to protect you."

Sean's heart rate accelerated, his breathing became heavy, sweat rolled down his body. The adrenaline was pumping. He ran as fast as he could. After a while he stopped and leaned up against a tree.
'How am I going to get Danny?' he asked himself. Turning back this soon was not an option. He would continue running and gradually make his way back to the mansion and rescue Danny.

Oliver was hungry, and was close to letting go..."no, I can't I'll die" he thought.

Jannet came to a cavern, and ran inside. "They'll never find me here" she thought running through the passges...but could she find her way.

Benjamin sr. turned around..."hmm" he thought. He begin trying to cover his tracks, then heard Wolverstone's laughing, and departed."

Thadeus was panting "got to think, got to think" he said aloud. He found a river, and jumped in, swimming with all his might...little did he know, there was a waterfall up ahead.

Daphine, ran into Dirk. "DIRK!!!" she shouted. "Look, there's some caves over there, maybe if we ventured in, we could escape!"

Benjamin jr. wanted to sharpen his stick, but he didn't have time, so he broke it so it was jagged, and continued sprinting.

OOC: So how long does the prey have to elude the hunters to win? And where is Alex, and what's happening to him exactly?

OCC: The hunters will not stop until they've killed all of the hunted. You either have to kill the hunters or find a way off the island.

"Ok" Dirk ran into the cavern. He knew that the hunter were going to come inside. He turned inside the cavern without stopping for Daphine. Dirk had lost her. Making his way around he hide to relax for a while. It was pretty dark and cool.

Octavius bolted into the jungle. His first objective was to find a hide out.

Brooke and Jason ran constiatnly. Only stopping for a minute or two.

"Caves. Let's go." He pulled her alone, and literally dove right in.

Thomas looked at his watch "It begins" he plainly said as the hunters stepped out to the tree line. He took out a revolver and shot a round off into the air as a warning. It sounded like thunder as birds scattered. "I want Nathan and Maria to go off that way. I will be with Jason and we'll go this wayand Wolverstone, you look like you do better on your own." Thomas said as he pointed in several directions. He placed a foot into the jungle and the hunt was on...

Maria nodded as she followed Nathan in to the jungle, her feet not making much of a sound on the path just yet, "You know that they all scattered..."

Nathan stalked like a tiger through the jungle "Then they're smarter than I thought" he plainly replied, gun ready.

Jannet ran into Dirk. "Dirk" she said "c'mon, follow me, maybe this cavern masks our tracks, but you can be sure they will still find us. We have got to keep running...hey look a drop-hole...hmmm"

Oliver was sweating so much, his was slipping, he spotted a large out cropping, and rested there...he could barely move. All-of-a-sudden he got an erie feeling in the back of his neck, he turned around to see a partly decomposed body..."AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!"

Thadeus was swimming down-stream. "Maybe I can get back to the boat, and get us all off this hell-hole" he thought, that's when he saw "the drop" up ahead...

Benjamin sr. set-up a Vietnam trap, complete with trip-strings, and sharpened sticks. He went back to running.

Benjamin jr. stopped when he saw a mud pit. he covered himself in mud, and leaves. He panted, he had been running for seemed like enternity.

Dahpine shouted: "DIRK!! DIIIIIIIIIIIIIRK!!!!"

The two of them walked in silence for a few minutes, and it seemed to the woman that nothing moved. Looking down however, she held up a hand for Nathan to stop, "Tracks," she flattly said, not sure if they would lead to anyone or not.

Nathan looked to her "You have a keen eye" he responded lowly. He got on the walkie talike "Mr.Wolverstone, would you be so kind as to scan across the beach, near the boat, over" the walkie talkie clicked.

Dirk grabbed Jannet and covered her mouth. He dragged her into the hole and put them up against a wall. He grabbed his headband and gagged her and tied her arms with another sleeve of his t-shit. Then put her up against the wall. He then just waited.

Both sat in the damp darkness of the cave. He knew it wouldn't be permanet hiding spot, but he neede to give Brooke a momets rest. He was fine, a high school foot ball player, and band player. He had more endurance than all his freinds. Still age knows no advantages, he was pretty winded him self.

Wolverstone swiftly grabed his large back-pack, and set of, his H&K MP5Ks in both hands, wearing his back-pack. He discovered what appeared to be a fit-female's tracks, he followed them, mingled with others...suddenly they broke-off...he pursued with all vigor.

Ehat ran as if a mental institute worker were after her. She headed into the bushes, and tried to separate herself from the other "huntees". She quickly succeeded.

Part 1 of her plan, hiding, was complete. Now she needed to arm herself. All her training in crafting weapons came from watching The Discovery Channel. Still, it might be enough. First, she found a particularly pointy stick. She then looked for a stone to make into a blade. Which, on a tropical island, might not be so easy...

OOC: The only reason that Ehat is not a hunter is that she had no idea that they would be hunting people here. She will become a hunter in her own right once she arms herself. And once she starts hunting, then you'll be thankful that this is an RP and not a movie (ie no pictures).

Jason saw two figures enter the cave by the faint light. He could make out their sillouhets vaguley, but he could tell they we're unarmed. He creeped up cautiously, he didn't want to scare them, but if his eyes we're deciving him, he didn't want to get shot

Thomas and Jason walked quietly through the jungle. There were several broken branches that they followed. The thrill of the hunt went through Thomas like a jolt of electricity

Meanwhile, Sean continued to run. All of a sudden he found himself in a huge field of 8ft. tall elephant grass. he parted through it carefully as to not bend the plants. 'This should be a good place to think for a moment or two.

Jannet: "mmrrmmummm."

Daphine: "DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRK!!!! WHERE ARE YOU DIRK?!?!?!

Ben jr. found some wild herbs, and grabbed them, he would eat them for energy later.

Thadeus thought, he grabbed a tree branch, extending the water, it broke..he found a root, it held.

Oliver recovered his emotions...must have starved to-death...he wouldn't! he resumed his climbing.

Ben sr. needed food...

Dirk looked at Jannet and loosen up the handcuffs. He looked at Jannet. "Be quiet I will come back for you." Dirk kissed her on the lips and got out of the hole. He covered up the foot markings and ran off.

A little later he found Daphine. He grabbed her and whispered. "Be quiet and hide." Dirk started to walk with her deeper into the cave while covering his tracks.

Jason felt his way around, calling out to Jannet quietly. "Hey. Hey, who are you?"

The screams and shouts echoed into the air. Sean fell to the ground, his muscles tightened up as he lay there like a stone. He thought a hunter made a kill or something.

"Maria, I must be wrong. They're not that smart. let's go to where the screaming's coming from" Nathan motioned to a direction and they began to stalk.

"Don't be so hard on yourself," Maria said as she smirked and continued walking.

OCC: What? What did Nathan do?

IC:

The two hunters continued to walk for a while, they followed a trail of broken leaves and footprints in the mud and ground, they were getting closer...

Daphine quieted down.

Jannet was, worried, she was a sitting duck, but at least she was hidden..."hey" she thought "it's an underground stream...

Oliver was climbing nearly a meter a minute...amzingly fast, but then he caculated how long it would take him to reach the bottom...

Thadeus pulled himself to the shore, and rested 20 seconds, then remembered he was being persued, and sprinted off.

Benjamin jr. took his shoes off...they would leave to easy-to-find tracks.

Benjamin sr. came to an animal's den...hmmm.

(OOC: He said he was wrong..it was a joke in saying, don't be so hard on yourself for being wrong.)

Maria took in a deep breath as her eyes scanned around the area that they're in, "Yes, close we are getting... I can smell it."

He heard the sound of water. Water?

"There must be a stream in here." He noticed Brooke wasn't behind him. "Brooke?!"

"I'm right here." She was right beside him.

"Oh you scared me."

"I didn't wonder, I just came up beside you."

Wolfgang came across a cavern "slow prey" he said under his breath.

Wolverstone creeped toward the cave. He aimed his guns in front of him, and entered, taking the night-vision goggles out of his pack...he put on his goggles and proceeded down one possible passage...

OCC: Oh...Hahaha :D

Nathan kneeled to the ground, he studued the foorprints. he looked up ahead. There were two sets of tracks, one male one female.
"This way" Nathan pointed out as they began to stalk once more.

Dirk lead Daphine back futher. He remeber the kiss he gave Jannet. Dirk knew that he should have done that. Soon it was too dark to see where he was going.

Wolfgang came across a cavern "slow prey" he said under his breath.

Wolverstone creeped toward the cave. He aimed his guns in front of him, and entered, taking the night-vision goggles out of his pack...he put on his goggles and proceeded down one possible passage...

OCC: Just to let you know, Nathan and Maria are on jannet and Dirk's trail

Maria silently followed, not saying anything.
"A cave," she mouthed as she could see the outline of a cavern, although she didn't see anyone with in, "I bet they're in here."

They came to the stream. It was moving, and rather deep.

"Where does it go?" Brooke asked

"I'm not sure. But we would want to get to the beach. All water must drain into something. Hopefully the ocean."

Thomas continued through the jungle with jason. Both were silent. For a moment, Thomas was enjoying the surroundings. The day was hot and sweat rolled down his forehead, which he wiped away. They came to a small hill where it appeared someone had fallen down.
"A clue" he joked quietly.

Both Jason and Brooke took long sips of the fresh water. They needed it badly. Both wanted to stay dry as long as possible. Jason needed a moment to stratgize his and her survival

Oliver found a another outcropping, which lead int o a cave...

Jannet thought gagged, and in a tight spot smiled as well as she could in spite of it all.

Ben jr. picked up a large rock, arrowdynamicly suited for throwing, he continued running.

Ben sr. stopped, he did hope Thadeus, and Alex were all right.

Thadeus jogged along, wet and tired.

Daphine, not nearly as happy as Jannet, ventured into the caves.

Nathan and Maria followed the tracks wich led into a cave. It was dark and they turned on their flashlights. Nathan took out his sidearm and kept it level as they managed their way through the rocks.

Wolverstone approached the pit, then walked slowly around it, he switched his goggles to heat-sensitive, and looked around, then found Jannet's heat signiture...the echo of the cock of his gun could be heard throughout the cavern.

He slowly smiled at this wonderful situation...he laughed.

Dirk found a hole and looked at Daphine.

"Get it there and don't make any sounds."

He cleared up the tracks and lead her into the hole. Then he way deeper into the cave and cleared his tracks until he got far away from the hole. Dirk started to run and stopped clearing his tracks.

OOC: What the hell isn't he suppose to be somewhere else?

OCC: I think he's somewhere else. Nathan and maria are heading towards you.

OOC: Well Jannets in the cave too.

By luck, Sari Ehat found a nice, large stone shard. She sharpened it by scraping it against another stone. Now she had a sort of knife. Perfect.

Thomas went down the easy part of the hill and continued to walk carefully. he stopped just short of a field filled with elephant grass.
"One of them's in there" he whispered to Jason. Sean was no more than a hundred yards away, his heart racing.

Jannet looked up afraid, then she rolled slowly into the stream in attemp to float away...it was a good thing the stream wasn't deep, or she'd drown.

Daphine heard the laugh, and froze fear-strucken.

Meanwhile, the two Bens slamed into eachother. "DAD!" "SON!" They embraced, then Ben jr. reccomened his father aquire weapons, and camoflage like the kind he had.

Oliver ventured deeper, and found a bellow-terra creek...

Thadeus found a steep hill, and started hiking up it.

Ehat began to search around on her own. She had only her senses, minimal clothing, a stone shard, and a sharpened stick. But she was insane. Besides, surely the Great Cthulhu would help her find a suitable victim?

Ehat gathered a few more stone shards. She also found a stick with some heft to it. She jammed a rather large and thick shard into the stick, and now she had an axe.

She noticed a rock formation nearby. Worth investigating. She carefully crept towards it, and began to mouth a terrible chant.

"Ia, ia, Cthulhu ftagn! Ia, ia, Cthulhu ftagn! Ia, ia..."

Jason heard the approaching foot steps, they we're faint but he could swear something was comming. He spotted the light sweeping.

He whispered to Brooke. "Brooke, I want you to take a deep breath and swim through the passage. I'll be right behind you okay?"

She nodded silently, taking a big gulp of air, and slipping qutiely under the water. Jason crept up. There was a small cut away section deep enough, that they wouldn't see the back wall to fool them for a moment. He crept up to the opening which was nearly parallel to the cut-away passage. And threw a stone. Running back and and slipping into the water. His heart was racing, he could barley take a deep enought breath.

Thomas noticed the shoe pattern
"Mr.Leary?!" he called out. His cold voice reaching Sean's ears. "I know you're still in there. That's where I'd hide"
Sean did not reply, he stayed low on the ground, not moving.

Wolverstone hopped into the stream, it was a good thing all his equipment was water-proof.

Nathan heard some soft voices and two splashes "Dammit!" he shouted as he ran through the cave, stepping over rocks, his boots grinding againt them. They both raced up to a pool of water, they just missed them. Nathan became frustrated and he fired three shots into the water in anger. The sound reverbarated through the cave.
"Let's turn back, this river probably leads to the ocean" he said.

Brooke emerged in a small air pocket, she was still in the cavern, she looked for her father but didn't see him. She knew she had to keep moving and dove right back under.

Jason didn't know how far Brooke was ahead. He knew she wouldn't leave with out him, although he kind of wished she would. He didn't want her to die if he was caught. But he swore he would protect her with his life.

Dirk started to make his way to the voices. He heard the gunshots, but kept on going. Seeing of into the distance he saw a man.

Nathan and Maria made their way back through the cave, they stopped and heard footsteps. He raised his pistol and flashlight. He saw a shadow around the corner. He moved forward and fired off a shot, the empty shell bounced against the wall.

Jason emerged in the air pocket Brooke emegred in, took a deep breath, and swam.

Brooke emerged in day light, but didn't hit the shore right away. She didn't know if the hunters might be around. All seemed clear so she moved up onto the shore to wait for her father

Maria smiled and brushed past Nathan, moving up where she could see the outline of a man perfectly. She pulled back the gun, aimed and fired;seeing the man fall to the ground.

Oliver came up to a part of the stream where it went under the rock, he shrugged "I can't go that way" he said turing back, walking down-stream.

Jannet managed to undo her gags and ties, she got tangled up in her skirt, shirt, and tie, but still swam.

Thadeus walked up, tehn down the hill. He saw a vast ravine, water at the bottom "that must be where the waterwall leads" he thought.

The two Bens ran through a thicket, gah it was itchy, fuzzy thorns got into all their clothes.

Daphine came to a ditch, dug under a hill, she went into it to rest.

Dirk stayed on the ground. He hoped the hunters thought he was dead. Once getting out of here he was going to make a weapon.

Jason emerged. "Dad!" Brooke called out. He swam ashore.

She hugged him.

"We can't stay put for too long. (He sighed) We're going to leave tracks badly. Brooke, if at all possible stay on the vegitation, off the path. In fact, get on my back."

IC: Brooke and Jason walked along a swift stream. He saw a young lady being pulled by the current. He set Brooke down and stepped in, pulling her out.

Maria moved closer to the man, she could see that her shot had missed. She could see him clearly now, facial features and all. She fired two shots, she saw one go in his leg and the other in his abdomen.

Nathan stood there and raised his gun, he thought there were others approaching inside the cave. he fired off a few more rounds.

Well, the hunt started, Dirks dead, shot four times in the head. Jannet's wounded in the ankle, and oliver in the arm and side, both are inflicted by "Wolfman." Leah calmly crouched in the brush. She had camoflauged herself with mud from a nearby streambank, and bits of leaves and sticks. Nearby she heard the sounds of fighting, coming from a cave. She picked up a heavy rock, got ready to hurl it, and crept towards the cave entrance.

They emerged for a beath, it was quite, maybe they had gotten further down stream, maybe he gave up, maybe he just ran out of ammo, and was restocking. Whatever, now was the chance to flee, they had gone further into the jungle, and came to a short rest point against the tree.

The bullets wizzed through the grass. Luckily, they missed Sean. the grass was too thick and dense. Thomas became infuriated at this turn of events. 'I never let my prey go!' he thought with anger. He stopped firing and ventured into the elephant grass.

The rock struck Ehat in the temple. The result was brain damage, a minor concussion, and a shard of bone piercing her right eye, rendering her blind in her right eye permanently.
Ehat's reasoning centers were damaged. She was bleeding from her head, and she was blind in one eye. But she was still alive, for now.

She attacked Maria with all her might. Slashing and hacking, she continued chanting in an unknown language.

nathan staggered to his feet. The woman ignored her attack entirely. he siexed her and crashed her head against the cave wall, trying to kill her. His ribbs ached with pain.

Okay I'll just say Oliver and Jannet survived, and swam to shore.

Ben jr. resumed running, and found an old swamp.

Ben sr. was to tired to continue, he had to rest.

Thadeus set up a camp, and made several traps around it, arming himself with all the natural weapons he could conjure.

Wolverstone gets to Nathen and Shouts should i kill the Wildwomen?

nathan was struggling with her, his wounds felt like they were on fire, his ribs were possibly broken from the rock. The woman was injured bad as well but still fighting
"Yes! Kill her!" he shouted.

Wolverstone took very carful aim with his IMI Desert Eagle .50 Magnum to make sure he did not hit Nathen and then he fired off a round and started recovering for the recoil

The bullet took a chunk out of Sari Ehat's chest, collapsing her left lung. She would not last long. But she still had some energy left. She hurled one shard of rock each at Maria and Nathan, and charged Wolverstone with all her remaining energy. Her right lung still supplied enough breath to keep her battle cry going:

IYA IYA CTHULU FTAGN! IYA IYA CTHULU FTAGN!

(OOC: I hope this post is good, I tried to have Maria get beat up with blood and stuff.. YOu go out to dinner and come back to this..lol)

Maria tried to fight off Ehat, however she knew she was losing. Maria could feel her body soaking in blood, she looked down at her arm and saw most of the skin hanging on her arm. Blood poured down her body, and she had wounds in her chest that they caused her pain if she breathed deep.
'Well, at least I got one good kill in.'
Maria thought as she kept fighting Ehat. She was relieved when the wild woman ran away from her when another hunter had shown up. Maria then began to half stumble half run towards the exit of the cave.

Wolverstone leveled he's secend .50 Magnum and fired!

Sean ran and arn. His heart pounded, his adrenaline pumped through his legs, forcing him to run even faster. Fianlly, he became to exhausted. There was a stream he shoved his head in and took gulps of water and exhailed in exhaustion. His muscles were tight. Thomas some how was not far behind. Sean forded the stream and climbed up a tree. After he went several yards up the stream.

Thomas stopped at the stream's egde and looked around. All was silent except for the birds and animals. His eyes studied every part to see anything out of line. Seconds seemed like hours as Sean hid in a tree, through the leaves he could see Thomas.

The second round hit Sari Ehat in the pelvis, blowing off her leg. She collapsed to the ground.
Realizing that she was about to die, Ehat did what every Cthulhu servant hopes to do at the end of their life. She wrote her last words in her own blood:

IYA IYA CTHULHU FTAGN

Then she drew an eye at her navel, and a pentacle around it. (See my flag)

Finally, Sari Ehat, servant of the Great Cthulhu, died.
