Invasion on Pythagoria
Leocardia
06-05-2006, 03:27
Jason Batista, President of Leocardia, looked at all the World News Posts. "Look at Pythagoria blabbering his mouth like he didn't nuke me back." Pythagoria and Leocardia are under a cold war, and fought recently back at Makoki Islands which is now peaceful under a treaty. "They say it like they never done anything to us back with nuclear weapons!" In Makoki Islands, Leocardian submarines tested a nuclear torpedo on Pythagoria, and was successful, however Pythagorians fired back with nuclear weapons taking down the Leocardian Red Glory and Naval Blue Fleets. "It's time for us to take over this nonsense! We're going to attack them! Our Leocardian 'White Skies' and 'Yellow Thunder' Fleets will wipe them out, especially since they're navy is almost demoblized. That'll teach them a lesson."
"Sir, I suggest you to not just use navy, but add in airforce too."
"Great.. I will create an economic blockade on Pythagoria's coast. No one can export things to Pythagoria without Leocardian permission."
Secret:
The plan was set. Leocardian ships block trade ships from going into Pythagoria, unless checked and approved by Leocardian Navy. At the same time, the Leocardian Airforce go in and bombard Pythagorian Military. Then when the time is right, Leocardian soldiers will run in and militarily control regions of Pythagoria. New AntiMissile/Nuke Systems have been installed on the ships. State-of-the-Art Defence Systems on the Naval ships have been installed. There is no way out for Pythagoria, even if his allies would help. The strong blockade is a powerful blockade with 24/7 Always-Manning, AntiStealth Heat Detection Radar, Nuclear Powered Defence. Pythagoria is screwed.

"Sir! Sir! Leocardia has attacked us!"
"How so?"
"Blockade."
"Pfft! They want to blockade US!?"
"Yes."
"Well then... those three Imperial Fleets we have left? I awant them thrown at that blockade. And our missile systems are going to be on high alert for air attacks. And activate our Krumbar bunkers. Defend the homeland."
"That's it?"
"No. Contact GASN."

---Blockade---
The newest ships brought from Geneticon, the ships loanded by Mer des Ennuis, Kubran aid, and the regular Pythogrian Navy all charged at the blockade en masse. Following them was the Hood-Class SD Zarathumdra. All of these attacked with every weapon they had, from torpedoes, to planes, to shells. And missiles.

"They did WHAT??" Shouted the arch arsonist, smashing his banhammer on the table infront of him, leaving a scorch mark where it hit.
"They are, um, blockading pythogrian waters" replied the Admiral
"And what are we doing about it?"
"Well, Pythogria has the 1st through 5th battle group, so I expect him to be wanting to use that to clear the blockade"
"Thats not good enough. Recall all the fleets, we are mobilizing them. Load the subs with keel breakers."
"Aye."
The Arch Arsonist paced for a minute, before yelling at the general infront of him:
"Mobilize the 1st and 2nd army groups and the 5th Armored Army Group for immideate deployment. I want the 1st and 3rd bomber wings to blast that blockade just as the fighters are deployed."

Right now you have 5 of our fleets. We have 10 more on the way. We are also mobilizing 213,202 pieces of armor, artillery, anti-air, tanks, APCs, and helicopters. We are mobilizing the 1st and 2nd army groups, totaling a 3,800,000 regulars. If our CBNs are inside the blockade range, we will hit them on both fronts. We also expect to have 200 B-52 statofortresses, 100 B-1b Lancers, and 50 B2 Spirits ready to hit their fleet just as the CBN's airwings hit. If the submarines don't sink them, the bunker busters/keel breakers will.

OOC: Basically, the Majar is locked on to somethig by heat-seeking or by radar. Then it flies at it, turning to find it's target. Once it hits, it penetrates as deep as possible and explodes/
OOC: Isn't that what all Anti-Air missles try to do?? Oh..Pyth. What's the troop limit?

The Leocardian ships rumbled. Engines at 81 knots. The ships were already full of it's shining armor to bring victory for Leocardia, even if it takes all of Pythagoria's allies stakes. "The sea is very calm, you see?" Admirial Johnson said to one of his companions. "It's calm. Like peace, but you never expect what might happen. Pythagorian allies might hit us, on calm sea... But you know if we can pull the victory of it." Admirial Johnson had been to various naval sea battles such as Hysiter Conflict, Terrors of Lonestar, and is a exclusive survivor of Makoki Islands conflict, which was nuked by Pythagoria. "Their allies will perish and burn in hell." His companion replied. "We are Leocardians, highest men of all. Pythagorians retreated from us, many have been demoblized, we never lose!"
As minutes went by, the Leocardian Superdreadnaught 'Juki' blasted a Undetectable Satiellite Radar Mach 16 Missile. This was surprising to Admirial Johnson, since no one told him about anything on the expedition. "Stats!" He shouted at the sailors. "Enemy forces!" They replied. Soon, other ships halted their engines and fired they're powerful guns at the 'enemy' ships. Blimps on radar determined it was truth. Submarines remained in the back of the fleet.

Leocardia.
---
The Leocardian ships rumbled.

Secret IC
The Leocardian Space-War Technological Center began its process in hacking into Pythagorian satiellites in space. It's state-of-the-art radar hacking system is to intrude and distract and give the Pythagorians false information in which doesn't give out the true identity of where the sateillite radars are zooming on to.
The sattelite attempt was pathetic, the sattelites being on an islated network.
In the naval battle, this missile annihilated three cruisers. The fleet retaliated in one enourmous blast of shells, torpedoes, and missiles of all types. "For the Homeland!"
Thats godmoding. OOC: How is it godmoding? His nation has the manpower.
Also, everyone refers to the ns econmy page. We all use it when buying weaponry. How would that be godmoding?

I.C. The CVNs are halfway between Mer Des Ennuis national waters and the maximum launch range. The heavy bombers are, presuming they can get landing clearance, within an hour and a half of the coastline.
Thats godmoding.
I don't appreciate you accusing me of godmoding when it's there clear as crystal. Pythogria, can you explain to them what I am introducing to them? It's straight pure facts! You said that up to 5% of your population is the limit for your military. Well that is up to 70 million troops then! I'm also putting in my actual budget. So don't be giving me that crap.
GruntsandElites

GruntsandElites had a small outpost on the world where the invasion was taking place. (Small is in several hundred million.) Currently, several thousand troops were assembling to go to Pythgoria. The entire GruntsandElites navy was also assembling to break the blockade. Unfortunately, it would take several days to get there.
OOC: I've got to go. Bye I'll finish up later.

While 5% is OK, and your budget can take it, I still won't accept it. It's just plain not fun if you can dispatch a bazillion troops.
The submarines carefully positioned themselves below the enemy. The periscopes were used ot check if there were any enemy subs around. Even if there were, it wouldn't be much of a problem. The Kubran subs would just launch their missiles and run.

OOC: They said at bargain prices it would cost a couple trillion. A couple is 2. So you would have 3 trillion left.

Okay. So, how about I cut down just a bit? I still have the troop strength and the economy. But I don't actually use my forces unless necessary? Just use like 5-20 million at a time. And if I need more, I send more? Is that a fair deal?

Leocardia, please, tell me what you have so that I can sink your ships. I'm ordering the battle groups to stay out of engagement range, and i'm scrambling the Prowlers to jam radar and hawkeyes to scan on other frequencies.
IC Comminique to Pythogria:
Pythogria, we can sink them now before they can do any real damage. If you have any dedicated fighters, or at least something with good ground attack cababilities, I will have my bombers drop bunker busters on them. The JSFs will go in low, as close below radar range is possible behind a barrage of cruise missiles. They have small-diameter keel breakers, designed specifically to sink dreadnoughts. I can also sneak some Seawolfs in, as they are very quiet. Some are above and below the thermocline, so their sonar is going to sound freaky for a while. If you can sacrifice some fighters, we can wipe them out real soon. I also have the first wave of 60,000 troops and equipment embarking for your nation in WASP class ships.

The blast erupted. "PYTHAGORIAN!" Shouts echoed in the fleets. 3 Patrol Boats were sunk. The Leocardian Navies fired back with full force. Powerful hypersonic missiles fired, Antiship missiles raged, and every ship's gun erupted like a volcano at Pythagoria. It was like a volcano erupting toward Pythagorian ships. 5 Hypersonic AntiMissile-Armed LAF-6565A Bombers sped out at the ships. These planes were extremely fast and accurate. No known missile can barely catch and destroy these bombers. Submarines went in and tested its first 950 megaton torpedo at its enemy's hulls' ships. Blazed erupted again.
All ships were ordered to turn on all their EMP-Shielded, Missile Defence Systems. As well as their Torpedo Defence Systems.

Hypersonic missiles are very, very good against ships.
5 cruisers sank.
Those shells and missiles happen to also be good at illing things, but anti-projectile CWS are god at destroying those. 4 more cruisers sank.
As for those bombers, they may be fast, but one seriously doubts they can withstand at least 600 Majars from the whole fleet.

Encoded Transmission:
Pythogria: Send your terabytes in at a combination of high, medium, and low altitude. The 5 carrier groups will launch from behind, with JSFs dropping torpedos to sink the SD. The F/A-18s will attack the smaller ships. Barring any malfunctions, we can expect 1,200 fighters from me, as well as 30 radar-jammers. I have an Exodus satellite in the region, so all missiles will have a pretty good GPS lock. I hope they believe in God, since they'll be meeting him soon.

The missiles that were fired by Juki blazed everywhere toward enemy ships. Mach 15 AA Missiles blazed in the air like fireworks. Behind the 2,200 fighters who would gain air superority were 50 B2 spirits. 25 carried 36 CBU Cluster munitions, which would cripple their runways. The Remainder carried AMG-154 Joint Stand off Weapons. Behind them were another 200 B52s. These had more standard ordinace: 35 2,000 guided bombs.
The carriers too dispatched their aircraft, 600 JSFs and 600 F/A-18s with anti-shipping "keel breaker" torpedos, but not before the escorts launched 150 anti-ship cruise missiles.

No nuke-the-fleet and win this time! This time, the underwater system for intercepting torpedoes (specially modified Majars) destroyed the warhead before it could impact.
Juki's fury did manage to hit and sink a battleship and several cruisers (9 to be exact.) 2 cruisers nearly sunk. The Hood struck again with another broadside, aimed at Juki.
The 12 battleships in total all attempted to destroy the enemy battleships, with another missile and shell blast.
Underwater, the submarines chased down the one with the nukes, attempting to skewer it with guided torpedoes.

They also had a torpedo each for if they managed to find the perfect shot.
Beneath the sea, the subs continued to advance. The tomahawk systmes were switched on and set on standby. They were ready to attack.

Form the nimitz, the last 3 f-22's were blown up trying to get off the deck. It was badly damaged, too. The planes owuld need to land somewhere else hwen coming back. Still, they had to do their job. They flew low at the enemy ships, firing amrour piercing bullets at their hulls. The subs took careful positioning under the enemy fleet and let loose their tomahawks. The Juki fired its megaton missiles at Hood. It was now a fair advantage for the Juki to step on its feet. Juki had remain on the ground cold for a while. Juki went back up and fired its powerful guns at the Hood. Nuclear Hypersonic Missiles aimed at the hood blazed like a speeding bullet.
Juki turned on its Laser Defence System.
Pythogria takes great pride in the Florernst System. It fires very large bullets at incoming missiles. Some of the hpersonic missiles were stopped, but one got through. It hit the Hood in the side.
The great ship tilted, and came back to normal laevels. It had a massive dent in it's side, but it still floated. The radiation was nothing. NBC protection is standard for Pythogrian military personell.
In response, several other battleships turned their guns on the Juki. The Hood recovered, and did the same.

The Ennusian fighter/bombers doubled back. They did not know if the cluster bombs were successful at damaging the landing surfaces for the Opposing Force Aircraft, or if the bunker busters had hit the deck of the dreadnought, or even if their torpedos had made contact. None the less, they were still recieving a satelite signal (radar was out due to prowler interference), and they launched a second round of 1,200 "keel breakers" at the enemy ships before heading back to the carriers to resupply.

OOC: its a little late to make an IC. The B2's were out of range, and had low heat signatures. I'll say that you fired at the B-52s. You hit an undetermined number of terabytes, since they had the most heat signatures in the area (radar is out of the question except for frequencies that my missiles are set to for reasons posted already). I'll say that chaff distracted a good number of other missiles, but you made contact with 15 B-52s, destroying 10 of them. For AA in a chaotic enviornment, that is pretty good.
Dont forget: Bunker-busters were targeted at the dreadnaught. There were also 1,200 keel breakers in one shot, and another 1,200 in the next. 1,200 total (600 per wave) were aimed (though not necessarily ment to hit) the SD.

Back on the Nimitz, a hacker who enlisted in the military (dunno why) was encouraged to see if he could hack the Leonardian computers. They also asked if he could hack thier bank, just to try and get a little revenge.

"No. This has went long enough."
The Hood was fired upon. It was forced to seal many decks. It even lost three turrets. But it still floated.
The Mighty Hood.
It fired once more at the enemy, shells aimed for turrets.
The other battleships shrugged off the attacks, most being intercepted left and right. Of course, a good torp blast would silence the enemy.
The ships fired Moskit Supersonic Missiles at Kubra forces. The Leocardians knew that the Moskit Supersonic Missiles were from Russia totally designed to overtake the American Aegis Missile Defence System.
The Leocardian ships used their laser defence systems to block and retrieve from the missile attacks. The Kubrans loaded in more tomahawks, but not to be aimed at the ships. They fired at the enemy missiles as a desperation move. The AEGIS system continued to fire, but it could only do so much. The missiles were too much for it. Still, the Ticonderoga was going at an ok speed. The rear of the ship was torn up, but they had gained enough momentum to drift across to allied shores. More areas were sealed to stop flooding. The back of the Ticinderoga sunk a meter. The Nimitz class launched infrared falres as decoys, hoping most of the missiles would lock onto them. The chainguns also fired tracers at the missiles.
The subs continued their retreat, making sure they were as far away as they could be.
On the Ticonderoga, 50 seamen died in the second barrage.

More and more Moskits began to fire at the ship. The Leocardians only goal is to sink it. By now, it was hopeless. Life rafts were deployed and men piled in. The rafts were pushed away form the ship as an explosion rang out. The Ticonderoga had sunk. Still, it was not to be lost. The fleeing submariens Cushioned it, trying to carry away the remains. B-1bs would have to take over if these missed. Thirty Six 2000-pounders locked on from the Exodus Satelite. The low flying JSFs dropped 600 anti SD torpedos. When the fleet had arrived at the battle, all jets were scrambled. In the front of the ships, Tesla Coils warmed up, sparking electricity. The Coils fired. When the electricity hit, it would overwhelm systems, effectively disabling the ship. The electricity would jump from ship to ship, but every time the electricty would get weaker and disable less systems. More than 300 ships fired their Coils at once, all aimed at the Leocardian Fleet.

The Air Force of Asgarnieu has just mobilized 750 F/B-150C/E Fighter/Bombers to a nearby airbase to be fueled and armed. Also, we are mobilizing 35 SuF-8's to target and destroy agressors. In addition, we are sending 10 RG-129 'Firefly' Recon Aircraft to target enemy vehicles for allied forces. In the event of a N/B/C attack, we will assist Pythagoria by using our own WMD's to destroy strategic targets. Also, we are pledging 500 AF-35 JSF aircraft to engage enemy aircraft, as well as 100 A-10 'Warthog' Tank Killers to attack ememy armor. To supplement allied forces, we are also sending supplies for 500,000,000 soldiers and support personnel. If you decide to allow us to assist, let us know. If not, we will withdraw from battle. Thank you for considering our offer.

We accept all of the help yopu have offered. We grant you permission to deploy your soldiers on our lands, and also agree to NBC asssitance. Leocardia has just used a nuclear weapon on my fleet (against the Hood SD) and if he attacks me with a WMD once more I wil lretaliate with nuclear means.
Thank you sincerely for your help.

-3 Pythogrian Sds arrive.
-Kingster enemy SD arrives.
-Big air mission to take out enemy SDs. Unfinished.
-Nuclear action considered.

As much as Pythogria had the cards stacked in its hands, they seemed to be held up by Leonardia...this almost amused the leaders of the Dominion. However, Leonardia needed to learn the price of going to war with an ally of the Dominion...and they would suffer with the flowing of the blood of their countrymen, their attack on Pythogria would be turned back all the way to their homeland.

The attack by Leonardia, as it has progressed, has been seen now as more and more of a threat. The use of tactical nuclear weapons disturbs the Dominion, and in order to contain this menace, we shall send a naval armada to assist in wiping out these invaders.
They are already en route.

Uh, I was under the impression he launched it from a ship.
Now, there are some problems w/ this.
Firstly, I doubt he could launch a megaton yield nuke from a ship. Secondly, anything that large will easily be shot down because the Hood has *SO MUCH* AAA its not funny. The chances of a nuclear MISSILE hitting are LOW because any competent commander will spot those on RADAR hella easily and get rid of them before they even hit.
assuming it did hit, here is what would happen:

The Czar looked over the most recent reports from the battle. It seemed that while Pythogria had the most allies, Leocardia was putting up a hell of a fight.
"They have tried using nuclear ordnance, sire." a messenger spoke, noting the disturbed expression on Czar Kotov's face as he read over the report.
The Czar looked up immediately, "Nuclear?"
"Yes, sire."
"Against Pythogria..." he thought deeply for a moment. "Now is as good a time as any to get in their good graces, what with the Makoki conflict and all. Dispatch word immediately to them, West Corinthia will aid them should they require us."

West Corinthia condemns the dastardly attack against you. We shall keep this message short, keeping in mind you have a war to fight. You have our support, and we would like to send you both monetary aid to keep the war effort strong and doctors to treat the wounded.
As for military support, we would be more than willing to send you a division of hoplites to fight the invaders. Though we can only offer minimal naval support (because most of our navy is deployed elsewhere), we could send ground soldiers, tanks, and armored vehicles to help defend your coast should the naval battle go awry for your navy. Of course all of our troops would be NBC protected and would remain under our control.

Captian Brundige was beggining to get uneasy. The second carrier had arrived and four more were on the way. But huge explosions had been erupring from the fight. Catastrofic mushroom clouds and the such were everwhere. And now a large beam of, ...something, had descended form the sky, it hurt to look at it. One DT sailor had burned his retinas when he looked at it. But multiple enemy aircraft were sighted all over, so fighters were mobalized and set out to hold a perimeter around the fight, to spare the Leocardians any more air based resistance.
