B-65 Bombers made yet another carpet bombing run, this time focusing on decimating the Parthian cluster in western Pelsgorad. Smart bombs flew towards FOBs (Forward Operating Bases) and armored columns, while dumb iron bombs were dropped upon troop concentrations.

Assisting these were dozens of Chitzis Fighter aircraft, which scanned for any sign of Parthian fighters in the area. At first notice of them, they would deploy their armaments of Air to Air missles. However, their two ATS missles were deployed upon any Parthian targets they found, as they soared high above the smoldering city.

SCENE: New Shazbotdom Base Camp
All the vehicles have made it back to the new base camp. Sergent Volcov and Colonal Sheppard were in the middle of a meeting. They had a satelite uplink with Shazbotdom Marine Command and the Office of the Supreme Emperor to discuss the role of the Marine Corps and the Mobile Marine Corps Surgical Hospital.

Sheppard: "Alright. I'm calling this meeting to order."

Loak: "So what the fuck happend out there gentlmen?"

Volcov: "Sir. We were attacked while retreaving the Dephirian forces from their crashed vehicle. The Pudite forces seen our retreval group as a threat and bombed it. We lost 11 men and 3 Warthogs and 2 Tanks."

SMC: "We have reports that you also lost some 25 Dephirian troops. This is 'Unacceptable'. We don't really care about losses of troops from the Marine Corps, but losses from troops from Another Nation is totally and completely unacceptable.

Loak: "Any losses are unacceptable. Now the Dark Empire has to pay for more troops to be trained and then we have to pay the Dephirian Government for the losses of their troops by the problems caused from our troops. Now this is what i want you to do. I want you to hold position for now, prepare to deploy the Mobile Marine Corps Surgical Hospital (MMCSH) and fortify your positon."

Volcov: "Sir. We already have our stationary guns put into place. Were preparing to drop in some anti-aircraft guns as well and the tents for the Hospital."

Loak: "Alright. Thats a good start. I want you to do anything in your power to help anyone who is hurt by this conflict, be it Ally, Enemy, or Civilian. Understood?"

Volcov: "Understood."

Sheppard: "Understood."

SMC: "Understood."

OOC: They aren't THAT new, they are just newer than the M-29 and not fielded in this conflict in the same number as the M-29 is.

Oh, and Wanderjar, have you posted yet involving the Shetterdan battle?

Northwest Pelsgord

Attacks from FAEs and bombs devestated the Parthian assault, destroying 100 of the lead tanks, and forcing further artillery fire upon the enemy artillery. With that complete, Parthian aircraft: 250 F-78s, moved in on the enemy airplanes and attacked with 250 HAMRAAM missiles which moved on enemy bombers with millimetric wave radar and maneuvered with 3-D thrust vectoring, designed to outmaneuver even the most maneuverable fighters, before moving in to fire 500 short range AAMs at enemy fighters, then opening up with 30mm ETC cannons.

Meanwhile, Parthian SAM batteries opened up, shooting at the bombers with 200 SAMs, hoping to annihlate the enemy airforce.

Southern Front

The automatic cannons were fired upon as soon as they opened up and revealed themselves, with MAD IVs pummeling them with 125mm ETC shells, while IFVs strafed them with 30mm autocannon shots.

The thermobaric charge blasted, disabling the tank and melting the treads, but invited response as Parthian IFVs, still carrying infantry, rolled over towards the enemy positions, firing 30mm shells while Infantry jumped out the back, taking cover behind the IFVs and lobbing grenades as they advanced forward with the armored fighting vehicles providing mobile cover.

Ort

Parthia now had a simple objective: Ruination of all enemy airforces in the area by destroying all enemy airports and airfields. Satellite scans had shown the location of most Chitzi airports, and with a quick programming into the guidance systems of over 3000 missiles in the Ort launch tubes, each of them rocketed into the sky, releasing a second stage at 80,000 feet: an AGM-240. Each of the weapons activated SCRAMjet motors, shooting up to 120,000 feet at mach 6, above the operational cieling of most SAMs, before activating directional thrusters over their targets and diving down at speeds approaching those of meteors, impacting into the ground and massivley cratering any runway, before hundreds of pounds of ONC explosives detonated deep craters, over 10m deep and even wider, right in runways, hangars, fuel depots, control towers, and other airport facilities.

With the first stage complete, the Parthians moved to the second stage, preparing 100 IRBMs stored in Ort for launch, placing FAE warheads upon them, before launching each of them at Hakken, intending to plaster the entire city with enough FAEs to utterly flatten it and kill all living things within it.

Chitzeland, the Shah hoped, would soon be so ruined, none of the allies would bother to defend it.

IC:

Shetterdan Center Thrust

Chitzi forces opened fire on the Parthian tanks, but did little with their conventional guns against the thick composite front armor of the Parthian tanks, who opened fire with their advanced targetting computers utilizing laser designators to automatically calculate the precise pitch, angle, and other factors in the 120mm gun and turret to place shells directly upon enemy armor from one mile away, as the 10,000 tanks moved down the center, firing away with ETMAS guns, shooting projectiles of DU sabots at speeds far superior to conventional guns, hoping to obliterate the inferior Chitzi armor with superior gunnery abilities as the tanks continued to advance upon the center, hoping to achieve a breakthrough.

Chitzis tanks exploded left and right, their hulks burning and adding to the macabre atmosphere that Chitzeland was now engulfed in. Chitzis Soldiers fired anti-tank rockets at the enemy, hoping to further injure enemy tanks. However, more tanks came from the Chitzis. Sooner or later, they would be defeated.

Wanderjarian Armor was more effective, as their deplete uranium shells were designed to kill this type of enemy. Hundreds of Behemoth IIIs surged forward, along with K-1s, firing repeatedly at their enemy. Shells impacted with the lumbering Behemoths, but to no avail, as their incredibly thick armor protected them, making the Parthian shells place but dents in the armor.

Shells impacted with the lumbering Behemoths, but to no avail, as their incredibly thick armor protected them, making the Parthian shells place but dents in the armor.

Shetterdan Center Thrust

Parthian lead tanks continued to move forward, shrugging off the anti-tank rockets as the composite armor stopped it, leaving only burns and dents in the sides and fronts of Parthian tanks. The Behemoths were targetted heavily intitially, with the ETC guns from the M-29s firing at them with railgun comparable velocities, using DU sabot shells, but it seemed to to little, with Parthian tanks now using their laser designators to pinpoint enemy tanks, calling forth two missiles for each Behemoth tank in visual range from the Parthian navy offshore, each pair of missiles flying towards the enemy tanks before diving directly down on top of them, hoping to knock them out with hundreds of pounds of high explosives normally used to sink destroyers, much less destroy tanks.

A-12s overhead added to the commotion, opening up on Chitzi tanks with 30mm ETC shells, DU sabot shells designed to penetrate armor and rip tanks to shreds, before using their own laser guided missiles to fire at enemy armor.

Shetterdan Flanks

Parthian lead armor divisions now moved towards the attempted flankers, trying to quickly drive the Parthian force into a single line stretching around the entire perimeter of Shetterdan from coast to coast, cutting the peninsula the city was on off from further reinforcement and creating a singular defensive line.

6th Immortals Division, On Shetterdan Beaches

The Parthian Immortals advanced into the city itself from the landing zone, continuing to kill Chitzi civilians as they moved into buildings along the coast, hoping to drive refugees away and allow the remaining enemy forces within the city itself to advance towards defensive positions they were preparing along the coast, for another landing into the city.

The Parthian force had been prepared for a submarine attack since the Suicide sub attack by unknown forces, and once the enemy subs had come into range of the sonobouys and fired, the Parthians were quick to respond, firing at the twelve distinct enemy submarines with 36 Caesar SSMs, which flew off towards the enemy subs, before closing within six miles and releasing supercavitating torpedoes, the second stage of the missile, which dove into the water and went after the enemy subs with their own active sonar systems, guiding them towards the submarines.

The enemy torpedoes, meanwhile, were in turn attacked by Parthian anti-torpedo countermeasures, destroying most but not saving a frigate on the edge of the fleet from destruction as it slowly took water and sank.

As the SSNs slipped away, the Parthian torpedoes rapidly engaged them.

"Flank speed! Hard to port!" Was the cry of many a commander, but to little avail. Six of the twelve SSNs fell, the other six managing to evade the enemy missles.
The Parthians
11-08-2006, 06:33
Most of the SSNs at first sign of trouble, had fled at flank speed, out running the enemy torpedoes which eventually lost fuel and power. One however was unfortunately lost, and sank into the abyss.

OOC: Supercavitating torpedoes can travel at 200 Knots, which is enough to quickly catch up to the subs before running out of fuel and power.

I don't consider the Pudites a real threat, just a highly over reactive and militant neighbor in East Chitzeland (EC is not Chitzeland anymore, but later operations to take it back should be planned by GASN in detail)

I consider Zanx a threat because they were the kind of nations I was hired by Chitzeland to keep them uninvolved in Chitzeland's internal affairs/civil wars.

The Chitzis Armies began hitting the Pudite forces along their flanks. Millions of Chitzis soldiers eagerly charged into battle, taking cover behind trees and shell craters, popping rounds at the enemy forces. Mortar platoons dumed 80mm mortars into the enemy locations, whilest anti-tank troops launched anti-tank missles at the enemy forces. Hundreds Chitzis MBTs, HT-64s, fired their 150mm Rifled cannon at the enemy forces, the depleted uranium round would surely devestate the Pudite armor. Meanwhile, in support of the Infantry, several FT-12 Hellcat Flamethrower tanks rolled ahead, spewing flames into the Pudite forces.

Wanderjarian Forces continued firing at the incoming Pudite forces. As they futiliy attempted to cross around the Airfield, anti-tank guns blasted away at them, their exposed sides making them easy targets.

Seeing this, and realizing this was their chance, Molot reversed their movement.

No longer retreating, Molot now charged, at the best speed their Merkúrs could manage, at the Pudite forces.

While the enemy's jamming was effective with conventional coms, Molot had a very old fashioned answer to that, which was working, at least on regimental level, light signals, using the tank's running lights, and good old fashioned morse code.

-Oceans around Chizeland-
As Task Group 02 moved through the southern waters they weren't engaged, though they passed many ships, none were warships, the most they passed were large Civilian Supply ships and Fuel tanker ships, as well as a few fishing Trawlers, nothing worth destroying, so the fleet sailed by without incident, sometimes with just a casual glance by those on board or even a friendly wave. Of course what they didn't know was that the friendly wave turned into a middle finger when they were out of sight. As the last ship passed by one of the ships on the southern most part of the Chizeland shipping lanes the captain radioed in. "We have a full catch, we're heading home."

Task Group 2 had been effectively boxed in, and the box would soon be full of lots and lots of dead people.

-Hakkan-
"Told you they wouldn't fit." the Engineer in charge said. "So we fit them to the M60s instead, you go through and tell me what you have to do to alter them." "And the M60 turrets?" "Put them on mounted Bunkers."

-North of Shetterdan-
"They're on the beaches now." The Commander said. "Ready on my mark!" He drew a Fox Tanto Knife from his pocket. "Ready, Aim, Fire!" With a loud roar over 300 Honest John Missiles Filled with HE explosives and Napalm launched at the Shetterdan Beaches. Quickly everyone begin to pack up and flee to the woods to ecsape the inevitable Parthian Counterattack, while AA Defenses waited.

Shetterdan Beaches

Parthian SAMs from the ships were utilized as quickly as possible to intercept enemy missiles, blasting FAEs in the skies which knocked the majority of the missiles out while the Immortals, now mounted in their IFVs, moved rapidly into the city proper, sometimes popping out of the top hatches to shoot fleeing Chitzi civilians or lob an incindiary grenade through an open window in a house packed with civilians in hiding.

Meanwhile, the missiles crashed onto the beaches, hitting some of the Immortals' artillery units, destroying ten guns and 60 men in the firestorm.

Vengeance was swift as they triangulated the enemy missile positions towards a distant copse of woods, ordering several dozen cruise missiles equipped with incindiary warheads to burn the trees to the ground and force the enemy into the open, where Parthian air cover could tear them apart.

A new line of Parthian tanks were seen. The private stopped smiling, it was down to business again. Kill or be killed was no longer the question, he knew now he was going to die.

Just then he saw the sky blackened with heavy bombers, Chitzi bombers...

"They pulled it off, thank you, you silly people, now lets show them what we can really do"

He poked his head up and resumed firing a 14.5 x 114 mm autocannon upon Parthina dismounted infantry and the track links of their armored vehicles.

South-City
The infantry crawled around the last building to see a (apparently/luckily blind part of a) Parthian tank, no chances to be taken here, a 20 pound thermobaric demolition charge would be used by placing it underneath the tank.

Placement was done by tipping the cylinder on its side, arming it, and giving it a good shove to roll it under the tank (inertia carried it to the tank).

As soon as that was done the small unit ran for cover, a few where apparently spotted and gunned down as the charge went off.

Southern Pelsgord-intirior/exterior
The battle of pelsgord had finally started to become what the leaders wanted, an urban conflict that would limit the effectiveness of Parthian armor by forcing them onto the open streets.

The Hurtian volunteers continued a fighting withdrawl, leaving behind a few specialised squads who had taken their time earlier to situate themselves to ambush the Parthians as they moved into the city (they won't do anything yet).

From: Dephirian Emperor, Alexander Ra'Baal

I assure you, Emperor, that no Pudite casualty will be done in by a Dephirian Bullet. However, I will be helping this coalition presented by my fellow allies. This, of course, should not be enough to sever our friendship. My assistance to the Coalition is to only rid the land of the Parthian Forces. I have informed my allies of this in an Out of Character Forum elsewhere, and has been accepted. If you do wish to support the Parthians, I will not hold it against you. I'll just have to manuever my attacks around your forces. Thank you for your cooperation.

Signed,

Alexander

Captan Bartlett sat at the table of which the meeting was being held. He nodded when it seemed appropriate, and sighed when things looked dim. Now he stood up to say his idea.

"No. A payment is not necessary. My men knew what to expect, I'm surprised that we actually had this many survive."

A roar of applause came from a few Dephirian Soldiers.

"We are a hearty bunch of coconuts, and would never be dampened by a few losses. Though, the tank was a bit of a slap in the face. Stupid Yankee technology. We should have been given a bloody Apocalypse. Ah well, too heavy anyway."

Another loud cheer from the Dephirians. Bartlett leaned in closer for just the members of the meeting to hear.

"If you wish to help, please equip us with a few of these Warthogs. I saw how quick they were. They could really assist us in our survey mission."

Lord Marshall Kaikhosro Mansouri looked out as the PROHT forces retreated into the city, pulling into the now cooled burned remains of the town, surely preparing to slow down the Parthian offensive. On the swing of his arm, the artillery batteries opened up, and looking upon the city, he watched as the first shells began to crash down on every single standing building, intending to bombard the city with high explosive shells until there was nothing left but rubble.

Thousands of artillery guns opened up, firing 155mm and 203mm shells upon the city while the Lord Marshall looked out from the hatch of his tank through his binoculars, laughing as he saw bursts of flame and destruction tearing buildings apart.

"Send all non combat ships and amphibious assault ships to Black Hands secure city, they wont be needed for this" One of the naval officers said "Aye sir!" and contacted the ships. As the non combat ships headed away from the fleet the Carrier's deployed SH-60 seahawks equipped with sonar buoys and Anti-sub torpedo's along with a few Hawkeye's for recon of enemy vessels. They were going to hunt down the enemy subs in the area. The Fleet spreaded out and headed out to sea with subs protecting them from underneath.

Parthian Battlefleet, off the Coast of Shetterdan

From over two hundred miles away, the Parthians began to detect the enemy fleet, About 108 vessels moving on a course towards a Hakken increasingly occupied by forces, who had recently been the target of a Parthian FAE attack. Response was swift, Parthia intended to destroy the virtual entirety of the new enemy fleet from Ustia before it even came within sight of Chitzeland.

With that, the Lord Admiral of the Parthian fleet prepared the move, firing 450 AGM-230s which moved subsonically, just above the water, and made of radar absorbent materials to avoid detection by both infared and radar. Once they were 60 miles from the enemy fleet, their solid fuel rocket engines would activate, propelling them at mach 2 towards the enemy ships before making a terminal pop up.

But that would need a diversion, something which could look like the real Parthian attack to cause enemy SAM batteries and countermeasures on the fleet to go after a diversion, a diversion much harder to hit, and shortly later, 108 AGM-240 missiles flew off the tubes of an arsenal ship, flying up to 80,000 feet and releasing the second stage, a SCRAMjet powered weapon which climbed to 120,000 feet, above the operating cieling of most SAMs, and accelerated to mach 6. Once over their targets, they would dive down by activating directional thrusters, accelerating to speeds equivalent to a meteor which would tear enemy ships apart with a DU penetrator and several hundred pounds of high explosive.

If all went well, the enemy would try and intercept the high flying scramjet missiles, allowing the secret real strike of the Parthian navy to sneak up and smash the Ustian navy.

Parthia is using specially designed stealthed Sea Skimming missiles, the best defense is Firewalls and heavy counter missile fire. Also feel free to land at the Meord Airfields.

-Forest south of Meffuhl-
The Gattlings of the defensive systems shot down one of the Parthian missiles before it entered above the forest and detonated. The soldiers though scattered throughout the area, still quickly knew what to do. Quickly preparing them selves for the massive decompression of the FAE they took cover. The trees over the FAE shattered and wind forces equaling a Hurricane roared throgh the forest tossing down trees and whoever was still standing.

Ort Airfield

It would be the largest air mission ever flown by Parthian fighters, encompassing a full 25% of the land based Fighters in Ort, as 650 F-78s took off, moving rapidly as possible towards the enemy fighters, unloading a barrage of 650 HAMRAAM medium range missiles which tracked enemy targets with millimetric wave radar, and maneuvered with great alacrity using the 3-D thrust vectoring systems, enough to outmaneuver planes performing even violent maneuvers.

As soon as they were within visual range, Parthian fighters activated LIDAR systems, pinpointing enemy aircraft and unloading 1300 LIDAR guided short range AAMs which, combined with the detection of LIDAR and the 3-D thrust vectoring, made any attempts to use chaff impossible.

Peoples' Freedom would pay for interfereing with Parthian matters.

Bandar-e Abbas, Parthia

An even more massive fleet was preparing to move out towards Chitzeland, where 250 Divisions of Infantry, 25 Divisions of armor, and hundreds of ships, including 5 superdreadnoughts, moved out into the Persian gulf, and crossed through the Straits of Hormuz.

Shetterdan would be their target, and soon enough, a Parthian army of insane size and power would land, driving all coalition forces out of West Chitzeland and claiming the entire half of the country as a personal estate of the Shah of Parthia, with the remaining Chitzis, whom the Shah wanted to reduce in number to 16 million, would work in slave labor camps extracting mineral resources for the personal benefit of the Shah of Parthia and augmenting his considerable wealth.

King Leopold's ghost had awoken in Shah Khosru III, and West Chitzeland would be his Congo Free State.

25 of the Griffincrest Tu-22's took off with the TPF bombers, to assist them in their bombing run, along with anothr 25 Gnats to support the manuver.

On the ground, G7's continued their combined munition assault, painting the fields around the airport red with Pudite blood, and mortar fire began pouring in as well. This withering amount of artilerry would if not turn back the enemy, at least cause heavy casualties. Not only this, but the infantry was blasting away with Javelins, G36E's, M60's, and the occasioanal AR-550 burst here and there. They were also supported by the Mercury's, who spit out a barage from not just their 30mm, but the othe 3 machine guns, and the grenade launcher mounted on it. The B-52's dectected the incoming missiles, and off of their wing pylons, SCRAM anti air missiles, 800 were launched in total, and they still had another barrage worths. The B-52's began evasive manuvers and the F-29's did too. Powerful electronic Jamming systems started up. The F-29's deployed 200 interceptor missiles to take down the ones coming at them.

In all, 100 B-52's and 90 F-29's fell to thier doom, as well at 10 B-5's.

500,000 Chitzis soldiers, 500 Divisions, were dispatched to help the stoic forces of Hurtful Thoughts. They moved out immediately, the Motorized infantry divisions riding upon duece and a half trucks to get them to PROHT firebases quicker.

As the surviving aircraft returned from their bombing run, they returned to find the airfield completely inoperable. This presented a real problem. They were running low on fuel, so a solution was needed fast. The Chitzis Air Marshal, thinking of what was capable of holding their aircraft, decided upon the Highways. It had been done before when tried by other nations, and worked for them too. They were rearmed, refueld, and went on another bombing raid, focusing on Western Pelsgorad. Before the fighters even appeared in sight of the Parthian forces, they each fired numerous Air to Surface missles at anti-aircraft emplacements. With this threat dead, they could rule the skies above Pelsogorad. The Bombers also targeted similar targets with smart bombs, saving the iron bombs for carpet runs over troop and tank concentrations.

Wanderjarian Aircraft, using to their advantage Beyond Visual Range missles, targeted Parthian Aircraft. Before their pilots even knew they were in danger, they would be dead. A lesson learned by American Forces in Vietnam*.

Flight Shield, Over Chitzeland

Parthian F-78s began to enact a complicated set of maneuvers, while activating active anti-missile countermeasures, sending pulses of a precise wavelength towards enemy radar guided missiles of a frequency designed to create destructive interference, destroying missiles whose guidance systems were convinced they had reached their targets, others activated microwave emitters, ruining the electronics of enemy missiles. Overall, fifteen were destroyed, but the Parthians from the Ort flight responded to the oncoming enemy fighters, allowing fighters over Shetterdan to concentrate on the bombers by firing 250 more HAMRAAM medium range missiles.

The Ort flight, meanwhile, launched a barrage of 635 more LIDAR guided missiles at the oncoming fighters, before engaging with 30mm ETC guns firing away as tracers lit up the sky.

Flight Shahanshahi, Over Pelsgord

Parthian radar systems on SAM batteries and in the air were quick to find the enemy planes as soon as they were within radar range, and although they fired missiles on the SAM batteries, the Parthian batteries responded by unloading their SAMs on enemy missiles, equipping them with Fuel-Air warheads, and knocking most out of the skies, but not saving 5 from destruction.

Parthian fighters meanwhile, activated their own defensive systems against enemy missiles, losing 10 out of the 105 aircraft operating over Pelsgord. However, they now retaliated, unloading 95 HAMRAAM missiles upon Chitzi aircraft before closing into visual range and opening up with 190 short range, LIDAR guided AAMs.

Parthia would gain little but a pile of bricks and shards, but the Chitzis would lose another city, cut down in the name of Parthia.

PROHT satalites (bet you've forgotten about them) saw the exact locations of Parthian Artillery, and with the aid of MMP-1s (not all were used in south front silly) gave real time locations of the Parthian guns.

To this the PROHT guns gave their last hurrah, firing from hasty new positions upon the Parthian guns, firing 2 shells at each Parthian gun, but due to the lack of remaining PROHT guns, this operation would take 5 minutes.

The last of the MMP-1s then went "suicide bombing" each strapped an anti-tank shaped charge hand grenade as big as a hellfire missile.

One MMP-1 caught a glimps of a man watching the shelling from a tank, and an artillery shell was directed towards this would be Forward Observer/Artillery spotter. Little did they know it was the Parthian Commanding Officer.

Meanwhile the resserves where getting grim, rather than bother moving the guns, they had now been abandoned, for they ran out of ammunition, the artillerymen rallied around General Marcus Gable, whom would lead the last stand against the Parthians In Pelsgord, after issing his orders, the men went out to fullfill their orders, or die trying.

PROHT artillery began to rain down, forcing the Parthian SP artillery to move, which, fortunatley, was concevable due to the less concentrated nature of the shelling, destroying fourty guns and damaging ten before the rest were able to relocate.

Lord Marshall Mansouri, meanwhile, as soon as he heard the typical whine of shells, closed the hatch of his tank and retreated inside, as he had always done under his many experiences in combat, unaware that there was a shell directly falling upon his tank. With a loud crack, the shell exploded directly on the most frontal portion, about three feet in front of the turret and exploded on contact, throwing shrapnel in every direction and rattling the tank, tearing the treads both off. The bloodied and shaken Lord Marshall, still very much alive then again opened the hatch, realizing that his position was the only one targetted, while the rest of the rounds had fallen in the artillery positions. Only one thing could explain it, and now, the Parthians would have to respond.

Parthian fighters, despite their defensive measures, still took over 28 casualties from both the missiles and the guns, but responded again to the the enemy attack by pushing their highly maneuverable planes to the limit, firing 250 LIDAR guided short range missiles at enemy fighters, while others moved towards the flanks of the enemy formation, attempting to envelop them.

OCC: I dont understand how you can be taking so few hits when im throwing hundreds of missiles at you.

The defensive systems of the plane mostly, combined with the maneverability.

The F-78 maintains a single electronic countermeasures system (the AFFC/SIRR-12) which is an active radar cancellation system and utilizes a small radar dome underneath the aircraft to locate the incoming radar pulses of a radar-guided missile, it then fires its own radar pulses at a set frequency and size (determined from the missile's radar pulses). This confuses the enemy radar (by canceling out its own waves) and usually causes it to believe that it has reached its target, it then explodes... This system is networked with five panels of radar emitters facing forward, to the right, left, rear, and to the ground and can project the cancellation waves against most radar-emitting sources (it even works on ground radar). It works by canceling out the radar wave, meaning the station that sent the wave will never notice a ‘black spot’ or any type of return as the wave is cancelled out. The small ‘pod’ with the system in it is the active anti-missile portion of the system. The panels are the anti-ground radar portion. The anti-missile portion also doubles as to cancel aircraft radar as well.

The system's range is limited as well as the power of the signal. Some ground stations are far too powerful to cancel out. However, the system works beautifully for close range air defense (as well as against missiles and other aircraft), since the radars used are not as powerful and with smaller range. The system also works at very long ranges, basically cancelling out the incoming signal (but it leaves a 'black spot' which could be noticed).

This system also has a new feature, ARCMD (Active Radar Confusion and Mis-Designation). This allows the system to actually selectively alter the incoming radar wave and sending back an altered wave depicting a large object or many objects, confusing any pilot while overloading a radar-guided missile's computer. It can also 'project' as being somewhere else.

The secondary portion of this countermeasures suite is its short computer jamming system which can jam radars at their computer core and infrared systems. This is accomplished by using a localized microwave emitter located in the same ‘pod’. The emitter fires an intense, but short pulse of microwaves which would strike the missile and effectively ‘melt’ the circuitry as well as royally fuck up anything made of metal.

OOC: It would require consistent triangulation, and it would also require some other method of designating the coordinates of the targetted airplane, since GPS guided missiles usually just have a static set of coordinates implanted in them, there would have to be some method of updating the plane's new coordinates every fraction of a second, since the missile's only guidance in a GPS guided weapon is to self correct towards a certain point.

The city Airport was reduced to rubble in the Parthian Strike, Nod made no attempt to defend it as it already considered destroyed when Parthia destroyed it the last time. The one that they were making however was unnoticed as not even a single plane had been launched from it. The second strike with the FAEs were complete disasters for Parthia. The 350 Nod AA batteries as well as the many local AA batteries filled the sky full of so much Flak you could barely see the sun, mixed in were the blasts of Nods own FAE missiles as they moved to make a fire wall. As the Parthian missiles had to close their distance from each other as they had to narrow the space between them. So when one blew up... The one closest to it blew up also, followed by a third, fourth, fifth... All in all only a few Parthian missiles hit the ground, sparking fires and minimum destruction. But more importantly, sparking the rage of the Black Hand.

It has been announced that a fourth categorie of the Zanx Army has been established that can use any kind of military force not already allowed for use in the Offensive army (Eg:large atomic bombs, deploy 1,000,000 more than usual).

Operation Obvious Karma

A large scale revenge mission will take place soon to destroy any Parthian forces in Chitzeland which will start with the radiological bombing of Ort tomorrow. In all, 800 missiles will be fired from the Zanx territorial capital, Meord. Border defense has been tightened by 45%, with 2.5 million troops in all guarding the established border. This is also another reason for Zanski to drive Pudu out of Bealle and past the Bealle river, as Pudu is a sympithiser with Parthia.

Ort

Parthian SAMs were once again mobilized to respond to something many had seen before, kinetic energy weapons fired from space. The intent for the several hundred SAMs was simple, knock the weapon off course via the use of missiles, with even a slight knock enough to send the kinetic missiles spiraling wildly away from their targets.

The missiles nearly all hit their targets, but the unfortunate occurred, liquified metal splattered across Ort, some of it fusing to the docks, others landing on Parthian launch tubes and welding the top doors shut, while yet others landed upon Parthian structures, starting fires. Parthian missile launches were drastically effected, 25% of the structures would have to be repaired and 5% had been ruined.

Response was swift, Parthian 28 inch railguns moved out of their assemblies, and began to fire on Ort, unloading a ten minute barrage as the twenty five guns fired away, shooting massive 6 ton shells designed to obliterate the city center.

Secret Message to Zanski

We understand a few things about your nation differ from the rest of the Coalition. First, we understand that you have territorial designs over northern parts of West Chitzeland, and the territorial seas around it, which produce oil. Parthia, already a massive oil producer, desires the rich mineral fields and other resources of the rest of West Chitzeland. As such, we are prepared to make a one time offer which is in your best interests to take. Zanski will be permitted the Northern portions of West Chitzeland as a colony, if and only if you cease hostilities against Pudu and Parthia. This is, in reality the only oppurtunity you will get to keep a portion of Chitzeland as a colony, since both the Coalition you are in will eventually get around to expelling you from the parts of Chitzeland you control, and if this ceasefire is not accepted, Parthia will eventually have to do the same.

It would be like trying to stop a water baloon by hitting it with a baseball bat. You just splattered molten steel throughout the city, and whatever it lands on will burn and get fused to it. (Ask Bretton, I ended up welding some of his missile silos shut when I first used them)

2. These were nothing more than Rods floating by themselves in clusters. These 24 made up a single cluster. To make a massive launch sattelite would be expensive and worthless, Nod did it the cheap and better way. So cancel your Space attack because there is nothing to hit.

Main fleet docks, Sundswall, the Carbandian capital
The docks were a scene of frantic activity as three Carbandian naval vessels were being prepared for overseas deployement, this being the first time this had been done in the nations short history.

The vessels were SSGN-01 CNS (Carbandian Naval Ship) Tigershark, and her sister the Mako, along with the brand new, and although tested to be fully ready for actual operational deployement, this would be her first actual naval patrol, CNS Barracuda.

The three subs were going out with full war loadouts, the 'Shark class boats having Lance missles in their vls tubes for anti warship duties, while their smaller companion was armed exclusively with torpedoes. Her job being to escort the other two, and, if possible, make sure that they would make it back in one piece.

As the lines were cast off, and the three subs set out, the commander of the Tigershark, who had been designated the overall commander of the mission, couldn't help but feel apprehensive. The subs, and their crews, represented a huge investement by his nation, and he hoped they weren't being sent to their deaths.

Pelsgord interior
Buildings blew up in a calculated random fashion, clearly the spotter they really relied on was much higher up than an FOB or UAV...

The volunteer "Fire Brigade" took fairly high losses, as some of them took shelter in standing buildings.

Others took shelter in far less obvious places...

(No, I'm not using spies to try and assasinate your CO, I promise!)

Providence
The platoon took on 10 million refugees, of whom 1 millin were willing to march south along with 500,000 "donated" Chitzi troops. these men would make up the "120 divisions" intended to bolster Pelsgord.

The refugee volunteers were given whatever guns available, a shoulder bag (if even) of the ammo it used, and a pair of grenades, one Anti-tank, another miscilanous (Thermobaric, WP, fragmation).

With that, they marched south, for they had no tanks or trucks, just 50 horses for the Hurtian trained Chitzi platoon.

The 500,000 Chitzi soldiers had their standard allotment of combat gear.

Firebases
The orders had spread from OTC-2 like wildfire, the 40 divisions assigned to protect them had now been set on high alert, as they prepared for the final push.

The surviving firebases had been well hidden, the firing pedestals disguised as mess halls and mess tents, a reletively useless military target in any book.

OOC, to Coalition
And please, run an air strike on that marching column of 30 Parthian divisions heading for Pelsgord from Ort. Since they would undoubtedly cause a massive defeat if they reached Pelsgord unmolested

OOC: Ok I'm really far behind so I guess I'll just restart from where I left off and go from there.

One of the Recon Hawkeyes noticed something on radar. There was a lot of them and they were heading at high speed. The radar operator knew exactly what they were. "Shit anti ship missiles! Contact the fleet, get them ready!" Then all of sudden the computer recieved a message. The radar operator looked it over and then said "Its a message from the local AWACS and JSTAR'S. Patch me threw to the Admiral." The com's officer quickly got a line open, the Admiral responded "This is the Admiral, what do you have for me?" The radar operator read aloud the message. "Sir AWACS reports 108 Missiles approaching the fleet from 120,000 feet at mach 6. JSTAR reports many unknown targets approaching the fleet just above the water, there having trouble tracking them as they are fading in and out of radar but they think theres at least 400 of them but there not sure." It took a little while for Ian to respond but when he did it was quick and to the point. "Alright it seems that the missiles approaching from high alitude are decoys, they wouldn't be stupid enough to have them be plain in sight. Have Silver Sky take care of the decoys, the fleet will handle the phantom missiles." The radar operator quickly responded "Aye sir!" and got to work.

Space, above Chitzeland:
"Roger we have the missiles, estimating missile path's now." The computer quickly put togther a firing solution and finished with in seconds. "Alright we have a firing solution reading Laser weapons." Outside the Silver Skys readed to fire. "Alright on my mark, three...two...one FIRE!" Suddenly a rumble was heard as the laser weapons fired lighting up the sky as they went. Down below the missiles continued on but then out of nowhere the sky went ablaze as the hail of lasers came down slicing the missiles in two or just hiting them and blowing the missiles up. The percision targeting of the Orbital stations made sure none of the missiles survived the wave.

Back on Earth:
The fleet readed for the incoming missile barrage changing into a defensive formation. The Carbon Dioxide Laser CIWS Mount's were ready to go but these missiles were tricky. they would have to wait until they poped up and could be targeted easier. Ian sat at the radar station waiting for the right time to strike. The radar picked up a lot of very faint singles obivously the phantom missiles. they continued to close on the carrier but Ian didn't give the command. "Wait for it...wait for it...." The rocket engines of the missiles activated and they poped up making them very visible and easy to track. "Now!" *Flash* the Laser's fired sending a huge wave of red towards the incoming missiles tearing most of them apart but because there was so many a few made it threw and headed for there targets. The unlucky ships fired there gatling gun CWIS's but it was no use. The missiles impacted sending a huge ball of flames up into the air. three frigates and a destoryer were hit. Two of the frigate's were badly damaged and one of them sank to the bottom of the sea within about ten minutes. Most of the crew survived thanks to heavy training and very good discpline. Over all the enemy attack was unsuccessful but it changed the mood of the fleet.

140 Parthian fighters guarding the column moved on the oncoming aircraft, activating their LIDARs and unloading 155 HAMRAAMs, while SAMs on the ground joined in with 55 Apostle SAMs. If all went to plan, the Parthians would prove they were not to be trifled with by bombing runs, hopefully annihilating the enemy planes and bloodying the Chitzi and Wanderjarian fist.

Losses on the ground were heavy, 170 tanks and 300 IFVs were destroyed, a loss of about 3800 men in total.

Over Shetterdan

The Parthian F-78s again responded to the assault through their typical countermeasures, saving all but 85 airplanes. Now, the Parthian fleet had, recieving the coordinates from the enemy missile launch, been able to locate the enemy fleet, launching a massive barrage from the 300 vessel flotilla, firing no less than 250 AGM-240s which climbed to 80,000 feet, before climbing up to 120,000 feet, activating their SCRAMjet engines, and moving towards enemy targets. Once above them, they would dive down, smashing into the enemy ships at mach 10, using a DU penetrator and several hundred pounds of ONC explosive to tear the vessel clean in half.

Of course, the highly visible missiles needed a counterpart to deliver a more subtle, and undetectable blow. 500 AGM-250 Caesar missiles were launched from the Parthian ships, flying out towards the enemy fleet just over the surface of the water, and releasing the second stage 60 miles away from their targets, torpedoes. Once those torpedoes had closed to within 6 miles, they would activate supercavitating engines, accelerating towards the enemy fleet at speeds of 200 knots, a virtual underwater missile which would blast enemy ships.

To further add to the confusion, 500 SAMs were unloaded from the Parthian vessels, with the intent to smash the remaining airplanes, while 300 more HAMRAAMs joined in, all moving towards the enemy aircraft in a massive barrage of missiles intended to utterly smash the enemy ability to further trouble the Parthians.

Shahanshahi Fleet, 850 Miles from Chitzeland

A massive Parthian fleet moved towards the coast, with one intention, destroy the Ustian and Peoples' Feedom fleets in one fell swoop, utterly ruining their abilities to fight, and if necessary, laying the groundwork for future plans, if needed. Lord Admiral Vahran Kashani looked out from his bridge command on the Shah Ardeshir, sipping a cup of tea and smoking a cigarette, giving the order to prepare for battle as the fleet prepared for arrival into a warzone. It would not be long as a large Parthian force came down to strike the Coalition, ruining their abilities to fight effectivley and breaking their control of the seas, preventing them from resupplying their forces and slowly choking the sealanes to nothing.

Tanya and her companions found themselves evading the Germans by maneuvering through the sewer system of Stalingrad, intent upon joining a Red Army unit. Utterly lost in the maze of tunnels, they emerged from their foul passage through the city well behind German lines. Hiding their weapons, they brazenly joined the chow line at a Wehrmacht field kitchen, hoping to get a bowl of soup. Fresh from the sewers, their pungent aroma attracted attention in very short order. One German exclaimed, "What is that horrible smell?" Tanya and her friends were saved by a Russian collaborator who claimed that they were working for him.

You also must have not read the German war dairies too carefully, for every building you destroy, you only make more hiding places for my men.

The Soviet defenders used the resulting ruins as defensive positions. German tanks became useless amid heaps of rubble up to eight meters high. When they were able to move forward, they came under Soviet anti-tank fire from building wrecks.

Soviet snipers also successfully used the ruins to inflict heavy casualties on the Germans. The most successful sniper was Ivan Mihailovich Sidorenko of the 1122nd rifle regiment who had made approximately 500 kills by the end of the war. Vasily Grigoryevich Zaitsev was credited with 242 kills during the battle.

IC:

Outside Pelsgord

Parthian engineers worked tirelessly, bringing the directional drilling equipment to bear, moving it towards the Pelsgord sewer system, where they would drill a massive pipe for future plans, while other crews of another rig began to use the same directional drilling to tap a resource downwards, high pressure mineral aquifers deep under the earth, under intense pressure and often heated to a boiling point and only in liquid state due to the pressure of thousands of tons of earth above it. Each of the aquifers, each of tremendous volume, were to be pumped through a cooling station at the pressure they came out of the wells, and thence, into the borehole in the Pelsgord sewer system.

If all went well, the sewers would flood over, eventually breaking through the walls of the sewer in such a volume to escape into the soil around it, liquefying it, and creating a sinkhole effect where the entire city would begin to fall below the water table, turning the entire city into a swamp and forever impressing the Parthian name into the minds of the coalition, utterly annihilating an entire city and turning it into a bog.

The day was penetrated by the piercing cry of airplanes, as the Hurtian Air Force landed its entire fleet of transports on the improvised airstip.

Waiting on that meager strip were the members of the 2nd Hurtian Mechanized Marine Division.

Other planes continued to land, some borrowed from other countries willing to risk their birds in a joint effort to land as many troops upon their destination as possable in a very short time.

The men watched as Parthian sappers started setting up drilling rigs.

The Private in his foxhole saw a puff, and then after a while heard the whisper of a 35 mm Anti-Material rifle, but he couldn't quite figure out where the shots kept coming from.

He then noticed, it wasn't one rifle, but a whole battalion of long range snipers, within seconds the area was littered in a hail of almost completely silent gunfire. The only noise that could be heard was the crack of a supersonic bullet passing by his ears and the explosions caused by the bullets, excentuated by the actions of the Parthians.

The Private then decided to convince the parthians that the main body of the fire came not from snipers, but an ambush at close quarters.

He crawled out of his spiderhole, bumped his head on the underside of a burning tank while doing so, and resumed firing an abandoned CM-2 heavy machine gun, along the formmer front he could see others doing the exact same thing he was doing. A few even managed to get out from under their bunkers and charge a few nearby sappers, engaging them in hand to hand, for apparently, they had run out of ammunition.

A quality the private thankfully didn't have to worry about.

Pelsgord ruins
The remains of the "Fire Brigade" started to see what the Parthians had in mind, from underneath rubble bunkers and broken and battered buildings, snipers opened fire.

One building, right next to the Parthian units, hid a fireteam of four, and from the 'rooftop' (or whatever was left of it) fired heavy weapons upon the Parthinans almost vertically below them. Those without heavy weapons took advantage of the height as they threw firbombs as far as they could upon the Parthians below. They most importantly targeted the specialised equipment brought in by the Parthians.

The basement was equally alive with fire, as they opened up at street level with their assault rifles and machineguns upon the infantry and sappers.

Sewers
The sound of fighting signalled the attack, those who hid in the sewers used the mains as the perfect foxhole network as they worked into the rear and center of the Parthians, poked their heads up, and sprayed them with deadly fire, occasionally excentuated by a few grenades.

Unit 'MG'
Gen. Marcus Gable and his volunteers of former artillerymen, marched into Pelsgord to relieve the battered units unside. They had no tanks, nothing, just themselves, their guns, a few large radios, and their artillery sights.

A trap was being set, and the city the bait. While it was clear that Parthian Forces would soon be making huge advances into the city, there was enough time to fill the sewers with explosives, which they themselves were guarded by mines. The most heavly filled area was the center Main line. The Main Line crossed the city from East to west at around halfway through the city. Once detonated, a large trench would open up and divide the city, and the Parthian forces, in two. With the equipment in place and the traps guarding it, there was no hope of the Parthians finding out until it was too late.

Pelsgord

The Parthian forces pulled out of the city into the former suburban outskirts, where they set their positions near the engineers, who, despite a hail of withering fire, were far enough out of the city center to prevent it. Soon enough, the automated drilling system had blown its way into the sewer, setting circular shape charges designed to create a massive, gaping hole which the equipment now turned to casing, covering the sides with shotcrete.

Meanwhile, the second drill was nearing the aquifer, casing most of the borehole down to within 25 feet of the aquifer, before setting a shape charge and retrieving the equipment, piping the drain tunnel to the aquifer borehole and covering the top with concrete.

Soon enough, the shape charge detonated, letting an ancient river under intense pressure burst upwards under pressure exerted both on the formation, and by a pumping mechanism which drove literal millions of gallons of water in a short time escape upwards and into the sewers, releasing a torrent of water at tsunami strength. Within hours, the manholes would bubble up with water and would percolate into the soil, and then, a detonation of a shape charge in the sewer would break the walls, allowing the city to become a massive sinkhole both from pulling a large volume of material out from under it, and liquifying the soil, which the intense weight of the rubble, and even the roadways, would push down, driving the soil below the water table.

The Parthians had no need to engage in urban combat when nature would be utilized to work for them.

Ort

The enemy flight was detected by radar, a massive group of airplanes which needed to be removed. While the Parthian column was approaching Pelsgord and would arrive in a few days, the Parthians needed to protect it until the envelope of air cover over the main force at Pelsgord could be used to protect it.

The SAM batteries of Ort released a massive barrage, over 800 Apostle SAMs unloaded on the enemy planes, before the Parthian air cover over the transiting force turned, firing 150 long range AAMs.

The squadron separated into their respected divisions. They then broke off from the 'cloud' towards different positions. Missiles destroyed several planes in the first wave. The A-10's rose to several thousand feet to try to avoid being detected. From there, they dropped several thousand two hundred pound bombs onto the enemy column. Several more planes were destroyed. The Diego Garcia squadron fired many missiles at the tanks. They did not want to keep any survivors, and sure as hell were not going to give them any chances. So they were using bunker busters. Ace looked out his window in time to see one of his own squadron members dissapate into then air.

The goal was simple: Keep the front lines as close as possable with the Parthians no matter the losses.

Pelsgord
North
The men of the Chitzi SF led the militia in building better fortifications along the reletively unharmed northern front, as they prepared for the worst.

A few men, calling themselves a detachment of the "MG unit" arrived, but did not clarify what their intent was.

City
The "Fire Brigade" seing the Parthians retreat, charged upon them with ferocious speed under the whithering fire of the snipers, whom as son as the assault came to close quarters or out of range, also charged.

Members of the MG unit started pouring into former sniper holes, setting up exuipment of sorts.

South
The Parthians retreated from the city only to come within close quarters combat with the remains of the Southern forces, who attacked the Parthian infantry without mercy and with knowledge that every second they delayed the Parthians, no matter whaterver it was they planned to do, counted in their favor.

The Private, while reloading belts of ammunition, saw General Marcus Gable walk up to him and ask him a question.

Gen. Marcus Gable
His men in position, Marcus Gable checked on the area of the most fighting, the south front, and was not too surprised until he saw one thing, a massive drill, concrete, and explosives. Renembering that the Parthians never really wanted the city, just the resources; he could see and predict what they would soon do. He radiod a small detachment in the Command truck to round up as many artillery shells they could, and drive from gun to gun, firing 2 rounds from each, and simply fire two rounds, hop back on the truck, and drive to the next gun.

He then sent a 2 more messages, one to his "MG unit", and anotheer to OTC-2. Justy as he diod so, he heard explosives detonate in the sewers, followed by the firing of artillery. The frequencies had a massive flurry of activity as spotters throughout the front called in targets to the last local artillerymen...

And to the railguns...

OTC-2
The message, upon reception, a signal was sent via cable to all remaining firebases (FB-1A had just been reoccupied, in addition to FBs 1BC, 2ABC, and 4AB, a whole division of railguns supplied by 40 divisions of logistics for the past week in order to get them ready for this very operation)

Another cable message was sent to OTC-1, telling the paratroops to get into the air, and bound for their new target, Ort.

The sound of thunder could be heard throghout the country, as they all fired simultaniously, and in MRSI barrages (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artillery#MRSI), the Parthians wouldn't know what hit them until it was far too late.
Wanderjar

An otherworldly sound filled the air, and immediately, officers began gathering their men.

"Alright," Lieutenant Colonel Tjaden said, "Thats the sound. Captains, get your companies ready. We'll be making the assault in about a half hour."

1,200 Behemoth IIIs, newly arrived from Zarzor in the resupply runs that were constantly being made, had just arrived, along with 4 Million Chitzis soldiers. 60,000 Wanderjarian troops, equipped with the Integrated Warfighter System, readied themselves for combat. When General Edmond gave the signal, they would begin.

ECM (Electronic Counter Measures) personnel readied their equipment. Several EA-6 aircraft, which were designed to blind enemy radars, flew around Ort, blinding all enemy forces of all incoming Wanderjarian and PROHT troops and equipment. Then, reconnaisance aircraft, specifically refitted for this mission, flew above Ort, and proceeded to ruin the communications arrays with frequency barrages. 50x Wanderjarian B-3 Bombers, which had just deployed from the Zarzor Airfield, took off, and readied themselves to drop EMP bombs over the city. This would mean that if even one bomb fell, Parthian electronics would be crippled for a period of at least two hours. Communications would also be dead for that period, meaning that other Parthian forces throughout the country, or in their Command Fleet, would have no knowlege of what was transpiring. Behind the EMP Bombers, would come more B-3s, equipped with Smartbombs and firebombs, to bomb enemy electrical systems, so there would be no power in the city, or in Parthian operating bases, therefore making them much more fragile than they already would be.

Back at Zarzor, and in every operating base throughout the country, ECCM (Electronic Counter-Counter Measures) personnel ensured that there was no chance that the Parthians could respond if there was even the slightest breach in security. They had practiced and prepared for this for their entire careers, and knew every piece of the plan, and had it memorized to the exact second.

In space, Wanderjarian sattellites targeted Parthian Sattellites and had channeled Viruses, programmed by ECM personnell in Wanderjar, chosen by the very top echelons of the Electronic Warfare Department for this mission. The Viruses were designed to cause Parthian sattellites to fail, or give false readings. If by some chance the viruses failed, regardless of the meticulous planning by the GASN Coalition leaders, small 20mm missiles, which were set on the Sattellites, would be launched, merely destroying them, without any proof it had been done by Wanderjar.

It was a bold plan.

(Parthians, remember, if one bomb falls, all your electronics, that means radar, tanks, jeeps, cars, night vision goggles, everything except for guns, will be rendered inoperable. However, you're Radars are currently not working because of the EA-6's presence in the area. So as far as you're concerned, nothing is there.

It doesn't make you invisable, in fact the opposite, it blinds them in light.

The Parthians

Ort

Parthia was hardly stupid, and a massive cloud of electronic interference combined with infrared readings of a massive force proved only one thing, a massive missile barrage. Using landline telephones wires, the Parthians unloaded a barrage of missiles intended for these circumstances, microwave emitting SLBM sized missiles which would be launched at great number at the enemy flight, individually targetting all aircraft designated by coded transponder units with a barrage of microwave radiation which would fry all nonshielded electronics in quick bursts. 320 of these missiles were launched in such a manner to provide sufficent covering patterns for all enemy infared locations before launching, flying upwards and destroying the entirety of the enemy missiles, sending them spiraling downwards, before continuing on towards the enemy planes, unloading barrages of microwaves which would destroy weapons targetting systems, ECM, and radar systems, leaving the Wanderjarian flight blind and unable to utilize missiles.

Joining in, other targets in the air around Ort were attacked by another barrage of microwave emitting missiles, 250 in number, which would similarly destroy the ability of enemy aircraft to fight.

With that complete, the radar network would return soon enough, permitting a full scale retaliation upon planes which, perhaps, would maintain only their avionics, and perhaps their gun systems.

The Black Hand were impressed with the new arrivals, which drawfed their own small defensive force of around 40 F-22s, 30 MIG-25s, and 10 A-10s.
But a deal was a deal and they quickly started building more hangers for the new planes. All the while confisticating any large hotel for use as a barracks. With the cities mostly abandoned anyway, there was no real problems.

-Black Hand Intellegence-
The investigators went over the data again and again, they monitored the battles, they watched every briefing of past engagements, until at last they had their enemy down. They Complied the data and sent it out to their allies.

Parthia, you do know that microwaves and EMP would do nothing to the guidance of a ballistic missile, right?

Since those are only guided during launch on a ballistic trajectory to their target.

Now about those railgun shells landing in Pelsgord...

OOC: Remember, you cannot have 'surrounded' the Pudite positions, as I have a defensive line, but you can assault them, which is what I assume you're doing.

Bealle Province, Pudite defense of compound, meeting engagements
All along the Bealle-East Chitzeland border skirmishes have been occurring with Zanksi forces throughout the swampy lowlands surrounding the compounds constructed there. Stationed along the border with Bealle, and thus Zanksi, were two-hundred and eighty thousand soldiers among these men were, however, only somewhere around two thousand tanks. This was because, although it was the norm to deploy three armored divisions at border compounds, here it was deemed to dangerous for heavy vehicles, what with the entire territory being a giant, wet, dark, deep swamp. Here, many armored companies were replaced in their respective formations with aviation companies, and well over twelve-hundred helicopters were operating in the area. These were supported by around eight hundred F-41A STOVL aircraft, whose short runways were idea for the cramped and hostile environment of the swamp.

Those armored vehicles that did exist were, to a major extent, the LV-08 squadrons. These light wheeled vehicles did better on the boggy terrain. Those that served here, numbering somewhere around forty thousand, were stripped down to the bones, only light armor plating, engines, and a single crew-serviced weapon remained, everything else was stored away. Now, however, at the loss of the protection, these vehicles could operate quite effectively in the areas of land not totally flooded through with ponds and rivers, which were hard to see, and indeed sometimes they were detected too late. It was a common threat, and supplemented by a through lack of stable ground, a very tactically deciding one.

The infantry that was not deployed forward of the defensive line, were the defensive line. Pre-selected areas of higher and firmer ground had been fortified with successive layers of trench and artillery emplacements. Here would the outnumbered Pudite soldiers make their stand. The battle was almost surely in the favor of the enemy, but those who waited in the trenches knew they were doing their own duty to the Emperor, and they thought nothing of their own impending death.

Meanwhile, above them, the Pudite aircraft began their part. The fighters and bombers stationed here launched their first combat sortie over the enemy. They would target first the infantry before graduating to any further threats, while almost ignoring anything they knew to be too large to operate in the dense swampland to come. The helicopters among the infantry would operate slightly closer to home, working in a support role as combat gunships above the trench lines.

This battle did not concern the Pudite commanders, as they knew the size of the both the enemy and Pudite forces, and were confident that the recently arrived reinforcements now bound for the Bealle border would be enough, surely, over one and a half million superior Pudite Guardians would be enough to turn back this tide.

The Task Force got the news and a portion of the force scrambled to there aircraft to assist the Black Hand strike force. The crews quickly loaded the aircrafts missiles and bombs while at the same time checking the aircraft for any problems. Ten B-2 Spirit's armed with AGM-202 'Black Mamba' (http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g291/eggcimpprr456/agm202blackmamba8iw.png) Air Launched Cruise Missiles would be the main force. Half of the ALCM's are high explosive and they'll target enemy fortfications while the other ones with multiple spread munitions well target large groups of enemys like tank formations. Other elements of the attack force include 50 BA-74 "Arrow" Tactical Strike Bomber's (http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g291/eggcimpprr456/su24-1.gif) equipped with laser guided GBU's and missiles to take out enemy forces around populated areas and really any forces still alive after the ALCM strikes. For air cover the force well have 100 F/A 35 Talons to protect the force from enemy aircraft while the wild weasels made up of several EA-6B Prowler's and modifed F-35 JSF's would suppress any functioning SAM site with the prowlers jamming and the JSF's missiles which would lock on to the SAM when they activate.

Most all of the Wanderjarian aircraft were shot down, but most had already gotten close enough to drop their payload of two bombs onto Ort. Twenty bombs fell on various areas in the city, covering it with the EMP blasts.

Ort

The Parthians launched another barrage of microwave missiles, several of them targetting the bombs as they fell and fried the capacitors as they fell, turning the bombs into little more than pieces of metal falling to the ground. Two hit in the east of the city, knocking out electronics of 5 armored divisions, 10 infantry divisions, and 2 radar arrays, as well as 10% of the Parthian missile batteries.

Shetterdan

Reaction was swift, Parthian forces engaged in Shetterdan would respond to what the Shahdom considered Tier II WMDs with their own Tier II WMDs. The order went out, Parthian artillery unloaded thousands of rounds of VX gas into the city of Shetterdan, followed by sulphur mustard. On the frontlines of the battle, another barrage of even more VX and sulphur mustard was unloaded upon the enemy formations, hopefully swinging the battle firmly towards the Parthian side as the CBW equipped Parthians continued their attack against enemies unprepared for such a strike.

Space

The new Parthian satellites dealt with the dual threats simply and efficently, with the computer systems firewalls and virus protection preventing unauthorized installation of programming from a remote point of access through simple protocols on the computers, which prevented code from points other than the Parthian Central Space Command in the Fars province from being installed, while chemical lasers obliterated the 20mm missiles sent to destroy the satellites

Official Statement to the Wanderjarian State

We regret to inform you that your inept need to escalate this conflict has resulted in our response of similar means. Should any further instance of tactical use of Tier II WMDs occur, we will respond by full tactical use of Tier II WMDs. Parthia takes a no first strike role in the use of WMDs, and will cease further use only if your state and your allies refuse to escalate.

The Strike Force taxied to the runway and took off heading for the frontline at Shetterdan. While on the way they received an update from M.C.I (Military Command and Intelligence) stating the Parthian force had begun their assault on Shetterdan using poison gas being fired from Artillery. Now the strike force knew exactly where the Parthian ground force was making there operation a little easier. The strike force closed in on there targets and the B-2's came in range of the enemy artillery but the ALCM's can fire from extreme long range so they were in no danger of attack. As the B-2's readied to fire the BA-74 "Arrow's" and escort fighters continued towards the frontline with the Prowlers and JSF's close behind them acting as a electronic shield for the strike bombers. The first stage of the strike began, the B-2's targeted the Parthian artillery with the Multiple spread munition ALCM's while the high explosive ones targeted the command bunkers for the artillery and other fortifications. The bomb bays opened and the missiles were fired. Several waves of ALCM's blasted towards there targets as the B-2's headed for home. The missiles stayed very low to the ground, so low that they weaved threw any objects in their path like mountains or hills. Meanwhile the BA-74 "Arrow's" moved towards the enemy forces on the frontline targeting the Parthian armored vehicles and any artillery positions in the ameditate area. The pilots released there GBU's and ground attack missiles onto the advancing Parthian ground force while at the same time using the AN/ALT-36 Communications Jamming Suite to obviously jam Parthian communications. Meanwhile the Wild Weasels stayed close to the BA-74 "Arrow's" maintaining the electronic shield as the F/A-35 Talons maintained air suppority.

The Black Hand MIGs arrived way ahead of the Ustia strike force. With the radar down for Parthia And entered the city limits at Mach 3 passing over the city in seconds and reaching the beach before the Parthians could react. The group split off by themselves and proceeded to choose targets. The five carrying the despensers opened their payload, dropping hundreds of mines which scattered through the lower half of the city as well as the beach head.
The rest proceeded for one thing, to destroy the Parthian Radars on board their ships and on the ground.

Such foolish behavior was not without risks. One plane flying too low burnt out it's Engine after increasing to Mach 3.3. With a massive blast it slammed into the beach head, killing those it hit then exploding and just vanishing from the force of impact. The Sonic boom hit a milisecond later, knocking anyone nearby to the ground. Another had a similar fate happened as another crashed into the sea.

Two planes stayed to the rear and remained away from most of the fighting, waiting for the Radar of the SAM sites to turn back on. Due to the fact that the MIG-25 Radar was designed to break through ECM, they would be lit up no matter what the Parthians did to hide them.

-Ocean-
The Pudu fleet of Task Force 2 was still being passed, just not very often, no one tried to move through their fleet and everyone gave them wider and wider berth as the crept closer to the nation of Chitzeland. The Pudu naval fleet thought it was because of their threat to destroy any ship that got too close to them. And Nod was glad to let them believe that.

Wanderjarian Airfield, Pudite Attack, Infantry Assault
The assault was continuing as expected, the Pudite tanks advanced brazenly into the center of the enemy lines, drawing heavy fire, but turning it away from the infantry. The tanks rode through the thick toxic mists deployed by the Pudites and swerved around the massive craters created by the near constant bombardment by Pudite guns for the last two hours. They were roving throughout the ranks of the enemy, and while some were disabled by anti-tank fire, most survived and were able to quite effectively return it via heavy machine guns and autocannons while the larger main guns were directed towards the last remaining of the enemy’s armored vehicles.

Behind the tanks rode the mechanized infantry, who were even now storming through the trenches, engaging in heavy close-range fighting where both the Pudite genetic modification of their soldiers and their tactic of leaving a shotgun in each squad for this type of fighting was sure to win the day. They would then charge up and out of this trench into the next, leading with a hail of Pudite stick grenades and ending with a small torrent of foreign blood.

While the infantry was such occupied their armored vehicles stormed forward to occupy the men of further trenches and the light vehicles that were passed over the massive tank assault.

The airborne battle continued as well, while the faster interceptors moved quickly to dispatch the remaining enemy planes and the larger bombers and ground attack planes continued their bombardment of enemy troops and vehicles who were not already engaged by forces on the ground. Also, the signal jamming continued above the battlefield, impeding radar, communications, and GPS usage by enemy forces.

Finally, the great artillery bombardment that had already dropped hundreds of tons of explosive on top of the enemy air force base ceased. Guns both in the city of Accen, and onboard the ships at sea, all fell silent, as the infantry and tanks moved in too close to continue the attack. Although their cousins had given it up, all battlefield level guns would continue firing, as from that range accuracy was more for certain and it remained safe to bombard un-engaged enemy positions, vehicles, and instillations.

The battle was drawing to a close, and the Dominion knew it...

The 1st couldn't hold, and it was becoming blatantly clear to them by now.

The final blow was when two direct hits from the enemy artillery struck Ridzik's command Merkúr.

The era reinforced armour stopped the first, barely, but the second blew the tank sky high, and this seemed a signal to the rest of the division, as it turned tail, and ran, first in ones and twos, which soon became a flood as the division struggled to get away from it's opponents, leaving the ground littered with burning vehicles, both friend, and foe alike.

Total losses (assuming the remnants get away, that is)
150 Merkúr mbt's
100 Matador ifv's
12 Matador apc's
and the entire divisional artillery (both the aa and conventional artillery pieces (they just don't have the speed to disengage properly, and also would have been almost certainly counter batteried to heck, as they were fireing direct fire)

2400 casualities (counting those wounded that couldn't be carried out as dead, given the Pudite penchant for not taking prisoners)

Wanderjarian Airfield, Pudite Attack, The Battle Ends
The battle was over.

Pudite armies advanced onto the airfield, destroying any left who opposed them, tanks turned from pursing the fleeing enemies and the artillery had, for the first time all night, completely silenced. Infantry executed any who were left alive and kicked out of the way those who were dead.

Any surviving enemy vehicles that were disabled, unoccupied, or immobilized in any way were destroyed by explosive charges, as were any remaining radar instillations, anti-aircraft positions, and any buildings of any sort. Once this was done the field would be evacuated and the airfield itself would be destroyed. nothing here would remain, no trace of the bloodshed that had occurred here would remain.

The airfield was taken, and gone...

Meanwhile, across the rest of East Chitzeland, new offensives were begging. The recently arrived reinforcements, numbering some four-hundred and twenty-five infantry, armored, mechanized, and motorized divisions, had just now finished unloading the final compliments of vehicles and supplies issued to them, and were soon to be ready for immediate deployment. There was no hesitation, the theater commanders knew what had to be done with them if they were to continue. First, fifty motorized and fifty mechanized divisions would be sent west to reinforce that particular border, which was suffering from some heavy foreign attention. While this happened a further seventy-five divisions would begin to set up their camp and prepare fortifications in and around the two compounds in the city formerly known as Accen.

This would be the extent of the internal maneuverings, as now that these new forces were arrived, they would do precisely what they were meant to do, take what belonged rightfully to the Emperor from the heathen foreigners who now dared to occupy it.

This would be done through a fast, city-to-city campaign, starting with the large-scale assault on the city of Dessledor. Here there would soon be one-hundred and ten Pudite divisions, including some thirty of specifically armored design. They were to begin the quick march as soon as was possible, and would not stop until they reached their goal. Pudite SIV-25 armored personnel carriers and Ural transport trucks raced alongside the many thousands of GT-6 main battle tanks and SK-37K1 heavy main battle tanks, of which there would be comparatively few in relation to previous battles. If there was any resistance, it was expected to be light, and once the city was taken it would not be re-captured. It would take roughly an hour and fifteen minutes to approach and enter the city, assuming no resistance along the road. Also accompanying these one-hundred and ten divisions were twenty Pudite heavy infantry divisions, whose responsibility it would be to hold open the highway from Accen to Dessledor while further assault forces rushed forward.

In the more easterly regions of East Chitzeland, of those three-hundred and fifty divisions who arrived at Yuri, two-hundred of them would be packed up and moving out less than twenty-four hours after landing. They would make, with all speed, for the already occupied and well fortified city of Elfzar, in whose destruction and evacuation they would participate. These men would begin regular patrols around the city, and wait the necessary few days for their more westerly brethren to make up their speed before continuing on to the final objective, the Coalition command post in Chitzeland, the port city of Zarzor.

This war was nearly finished...

REINFORCEMENTS HAVE ARRIVED

The 170 cannons were shooting around a hundred missiles and grenades a minute at the Pudite base. Soon, the Pewter bombs would have a test run.

The Anti-Aircrafts had grown in number, with nearly five hundred near the back.

There were also around two point five million standard offensive troops waiting now, to better the number given by the Pudites.

There were also a thousand heavily trained snipers in tall towers at the back. They had Heat Vision and Infrared so they always had the enemy in sight. Next to them on the towers were Machine guns and Missile-launching turrets, controlled by one soldier each.

The two hundred pawns had one change to last time. They had an infrared camera that would send pictures of the enemy lines to the computer and the IT agents would make a picture of the other side. General Tyke gave the order and they moved forward. The assault had began and the Ceasefire ordered by Parthia was broken.

Pudite Chitzeland, Continued Operations, New Arrivals
Recent times had seen great change in East Chitzeland, Yuri, Elfzar, and the Wanderjarian airfield had been taken, and a large Zanksi assault in the west was threatening to push that border in. At sea patrols had remained steady and unchanging, but elsewhere a large capital fleet was beginning another front in the renewed Pudite offensive. The men on the ground had nearly quadrupled as reinforcement fleets poured in, and were even now marching on the city of Dessledor. Certainly, these times had seen change.

Even as the Pudite forces were seizing the initiative and looked set to win through to their objectives in Zarzor, they had called in further reinforcements. These troops, however, were not of the Dominion, they were not Guardian, Orthae, or anything else, these were foreigners. This was the 1st New Gothland Expeditionary Army, and they would arrive in Accen in two days, having been redirected from another conflict. This Expeditionary Unit did consists of six-thousand super-heave Apocalypse elite battle tanks, escorted by twenty divisions of Coraxian Guard infantry, as well as a force of auxiliary units and a small air fleet of combat zeppelins. Although unbeknownst to the enemy, this was not all that came over from the Soviet Republic, Brother Lucian, Brother Bela, and Brother Radu also found room amongst the transports. These men were members of the infamous Night Masks, a powerful group of government-funded assassins operating inside New Gothland. They alone could change the course of this war.

For now the Dominion theater commanders did not see fit to move these troops from their position at Accen, whose centralized position allowed them to react to nearly any threat anywhere. Also, because of these new arrivals, twenty-three divisions of Pudite soldiers were freed to move elsewhere. These troops would universally be mobilized for action in the western front. They departed the Pudite command center only hours after the main reactionary force, and would certainly catch up shortly before final arrival.

Meanwhile, at sea, the Pudite task fleet assigned to Coalition shipping indirection continued un-hindered. In mere hours they would round the point and turn into the Chitze Sea, and shortly after that they would cross over Parthian shipping routes and into enemy waters. Once there the groups would split into many smaller task forces, each of only two or three ships and a single submarine at most, as the submarines were more expected to operate on their own, in small hunter-killer packs of five or so craft. Total, there were ten Roydia class battleships, eighteen Helina class battlecruisers, and twenty eight Triara class light cruisers. Below these ran one-hundred Forthar class quiet attack submarines and twenty five Port class cruise missile submarines.

Although supply and troop transports would be their primary objective, they would not be averse to attacking any small patrols or single combat ships operating far from shore, which would hopefully be destroyed long before enemy reinforcements could arrive. The shipping campaign would be essential in isolating the Coalition forces from their home countries, and thus freeing them to destruction by land forces. This was in perfect fitting with the Navy's overriding primary objective, which was to support the infantry.

On shore, the fierce propaganda campaign targeting areas just beyond Pudite control, more specifically, Christians of those regions. This campaign was centered on the former ruler of this now devastated nation, President Copeland. Forty-Second division soldiers were distributing leaflets and pictures all displaying the President, shaking hands with a tall Pudite in a white greatcoat on a pedestal in what looked like the city of Accen.

He was dead? No, Copeland is alive and well in the care of the Pudite government until such a time as he is fit again to rule his nation, that is, after the Dominion has conquered it. No, I'm sure he's dead. But he's not! President L. Copeland is living, this very day, and is preparing to take command of East Chitzeland. But, how? Well, the President has returned from the dead! Surely such a man must be blessed by God, surely he is a divine being, how could one resist a force fighting for the Almighty? One cannot, Copeland has returned to lead his nation out of the ashes and back into the world, and no one can stand in his way, it is a futile gesture to resist.

This was occurring all up and down the borders of Dominion territory, and millions were falling for it. This was, in fact, the original plan of the Copeland regime, and although Pudite authorities could not have known of this plot, it seems that similarly evil minds think alike...

Any suitably convinced persons attempting to cross the Pudite borders, escorted by Forty-Second division personnel, masquerading as prophets and devotees, were actually granted entrance, and were quickly loaded into busses and trucks and brought to Accen. After extensive security sweeps, doubtlessly. Once inside the Pudite command center, they were actually granted a vision of the President, alive and breathing, on a stage standing before him. After this the truly devoted were allowed to remain and fight for the Dominion, and formed into large militia corps and given rudimentary training and arms by Forty-Second division officers, who would lead them in combat. These flagellants and fanatics were fed and treated well, and given reasonable lodgings and received weekly visits from 'their savoir'. So far seven divisions of such disciples have been gathered, and are being trained and armed in a rapid process. They would serve their new masters well...

Plans were proceeding as expected, and outcomes were expected to be positive. East Chitzeland would soon reach its full potential.

Starting on post 1131 (page 76), I shelled the tar out of Pelsgord.

Wanderjar then llaunched a failed assault upon your satalites (looks like I'm going to have to do it, again)

Shortly afterwards I posted that a rather large flight of planes were heading for Ort right after the GASN/BHON/Chitzi airstrikes.

Neither has met a reply, and they are the triggers of the events to which you have been so feverently repling to for the past few days.

And I'm pretty sure you overlooked a large number of those airstrikes...
One wonders how many microwave missiles you have...

See posts 1160 and 1167 (both on P. 78) for Ustia/BHON airstrike against Shetterdan...
BHON is already at coast and ready to drop bombs...

-Chitze Sea-
The Black Hand ambush awaited the Pudu fleet with patience. Over 100 assorted civilian ships had been conscripted for this mission, along with Nod's own forces. On the bottom of the sea the mines were planted by Infltrator and assault subs. The PLAN will go into action as soon as Pudu enters finished rounding the bend. Once they are in the sea they will be engaged by the opening attack by a Destroyer. Being how this is outside the POHT shipping area none of them would be implicated, what's more this was bordering Parthian Waters, if Pudu would have anyone to blame it would have to be the Parthians.

The fleet went on high alert inlight of the Pudite naval threat. Hawkeye's and other combat patrol aircraft tripled there patrol's of the coalition waters along with Wolf Packs of submarines ready to sink any enemy vessels in the area. The Ustian naval command didn't know if they should send the task force from the Aeson conflict to here considering the huge risk of attack from enemy vessel's and submarines. In the meantime the N.E.F readed for a naval battle that would most likely occur.

Off the coast of Chitzeland, Pudite Task Fleet, Approaching Destination
The one-hundred and eight ships of the Pudite Task Fleet sent to interrupt Coalition shipping were progressing quickly, and had just rounded the point into Parthian controlled waters, as they entered the shipping lanes a short message was relayed to the Parthian fleet command, stating reasons and time estimates for their journey through their waters.

All was progressing quite normally, when a single communications officer below the deck of a single Triara class light cruiser, the Revealing Light, intercepted a quick message emanating from a large oil tanker that had been detected a few hours ago. Although the recipient was unknown the content of the message was not.

"One of our tankers has a leak, we've contained the spill but we're going to have to drain one of the tanks to divert it to the others, this may take awhile." "I'd advise you to move on, Parthia may ignore civilian ships but they won't ignore a war vessel."

This would have been a simple communication, but for one thing, these were Parthian shipping routes...

The message was relayed up the chain of command, until it reached the ears of Captain Volostov, who commanded this ship. "What do you mean, 'we've intercepted a communication from a single tanker and it may be suspicious! We're in friendly waters!" The officer delivering the message responded quickly, "Sir, these are, as you know, Parthian waters. Why would a ship here fear Parthian warships?" The officer handed to his commander a small notepad, which contained the message intercepted only minutes before, "Sir, I believe this to be a Coalition vessel, and thus within our mission parameters, defined as 'target', if I'm not mistaken sir."

The Captain leaned back in his small plastic chair, reading the message, "No sir, you're not mistaken. Let it be known, the Revealing Light has scored the first kill in this southern war of ours."

And with that order, as it were, the light cruiser immediately sent an encrypted dispatch to Parthian fleet command, again, detailing this attack, and another dispatch, both encrypted and written in High Pudite, to their fleet commander detailing the attack.

Only seconds later, sixty eight four-hundred pound missiles departed the Revealing Light and seconds after that, would impact the oil tanker, no doubt causing an explosion that would truly shake the seas, but also, and spoken with significantly less doubt, cost who-ever the owners were, millions of dollars of damage.

Also, on a more favorable note, a large concentration of ships here, still many hundreds of miles off the coast, would be unlikely, and thus damage to other shipping, notably of Parthian origin, would be nothing.

It would be the first kill of many, in the minds of the Dominion's admiralty.

-Oceans around Chizeland-
When the Task Force 2 ship opened fire on the Tanker, it actived the trap that the fleet had long since already entered. Near the center of where the main fleet moved a specialized 'Infltrator' Sub sat on the bottom. (unarmed, Jammer Equiped, ECM, Advanced Sonar, heavy shielding against detection.) When it got the signal... It pinged revealing the Puduian Subs and starting the attack. Another group of the Nod Q-boats, which were farther behind than planned. began the act as the 6 ship group behind the Fleet opened up with 40 Exocet Missiles each, while at the same time, small charges released mines from where they had been hidden on the ocean floor, hundreds of mines rose to the surface to the rear of the Puduian ships, preventing a retreat for the fleet.

Once done the second phase happened, scattered within the trap were remotely controlled Torpedoes which, the the case a launcher was below a Pudu ship or sub launched from launchers located on the floor. The 200 within range of the ships rose aiming for the surface ships and the sub fleet, The 100 subs meanwhile were forced to fight for their life when the guided Sucide Subs started swarming them from other hidden positions on the bottom of the ocean, while others began to attempt to ram the rear of the Pudu ships, if one hit the resulting explosion would end up destroying the sub or disabling the rudders of a surface ship. With over 60 of the fast moving bombs, combined with the torpedoes, the subs would be hard pressed to engage any surface ships.

On the surface the groups of the 'Tankers' that Pudu were preparing to fire on had their 'holds' open up , revealing 16 in turrets that rose to the deck on a massive lift, which, reaching the deck level, rotated and began to open bombard the enemy fleet.

From a group of 'Freighters' on the shore flank, the Cargo containers on deck opened up to reveal multiple Surface to surface and surface to Air launchers, these ships too launched over 200 Tomahawks and 100 Low level Exocets of their own.

From the right flank on to the open ocean of the Chitze Sea 100 Hunter killer subs miles away, warmed up to assault the ships as soon as the launches finished.

With mines to the rear, disguised battleships to the front, and a massive group of subs to their only escaping flank, Task Force 2 was surrounded.

P. L. of plan had been activated. It was far from over.

OOC: How many suicide subs and other ships do you got here, total?

Off the coast of Chitzeland, Parthian Trade Waters, Ambushed Pudites
The one-hundred and eight Pudite ships of the Task Fleet had realized their position only seconds after the first missiles were fired. Although they were now surrounded, the situation did not look to be inescapable. This fleet would survive to fight another day, they were sure of it.

To begin, the hundreds of foreign anti-shipping missiles directed towards the Pudite fleet would have to be dealt with, and they were. There were over five-hundred missiles headed toward the Pudite fleet, but when dispersed over the entirety of the fleet, each ships individual NESS anti-missile systems would down nearly all of the small missiles, supplemented by the CIWS that each ship possessed, the missiles posed a very small threat. Also aiding in the defense process was a series of radar jammers on the Roydia and Triara class vessels, blocking the only navigational system of the attacking ordinance. Although, despite all the countermeasures, the ambush nature of the attack ensured that some were bound to make it through, and some did. Two Triara class light cruisers were both hit by a pair of Exocet missiles, while one of the Helina battlecruisers took a Tomahawk missile to the command tower. All three ships were damaged extensively, but despite losing over forty crew members each, continued the fight in what ways their situation allowed. As for the smaller Nod guns, the shells that did impact the Roydia and Helina class ships would either bounce off their impressive armor belt and those directed at the Triara would cause a large dent. The damage here was largely superficial, although a singe Triara was pierced through the deck by a pair of the turrets. No casualties were reported due to the gun fire.

First, the Pudite submarines. They were suddenly detecting dozens of foreign objects, objects which matched the silhouette of those craft that had attacked their compatriots in the North Sea only weeks before. In any case, they would have do be terminated, and they would. Each of the one-hundred Forthar class submarines would immediately launch their six 585mm torpedoes and their twelve general-purpose submarine-launched missiles, each delivering a two-hundred and fifty pound charge of high explosive at speeds equating to roughly two hundred miles per hour. The torpedoes launched would be the standard Dominion Shkval supercavitating torpedo. Their two-hundred and ten pound warheads would be added to the underwater barrage.

Meanwhile, on the surface, the main combat ships had all received different orders, depending on ship classification and capability of the craft. First, every one of the ten gigantic Roydia class battleships would turn their main batteries, their twelve sixteen inch armor-piercing thermal cannons on the smaller Nod gunships. These behemoth guns would rip through the tiny enemy craft, ending one threat before it even manifested. As for the smaller guns of the Roydia, they would be turned on whatever craft appeared as a target, launching six inch shells from their rapid fire guns in arcs up and down the side of the ships until they were disabled or sunk. The missiles of the Roydia, the three-hundred and sixty P-800 missiles, would also be directed against the Nod gunships, each dumping two-hundred and fifty pounds of explosive at speeds of over mach two point five. Also being launched were the torpedoes kept on the Roydia ships, with every ship also throwing in the contents of their six torpedo tubes, which would launch the Shkval supercavitating torpedoes. It would be an impressive sight for those it was directed against, a fitting last image of the Dominion's power.

The second element of the Pudite fleet, the Helina class battlecruisers, would engage the smaller freighters on the port side of the flotilla that had launched the missile attack. The eighteen of these ships would direct their nine fourteen inch thermal main cannons against these ships, while strafing their decks with their six inch guns. This would hopefully disable these craft, but in case it did not, each ship launched their five-hundred and fifty two P-800 missiles at the very same target. The Dominion would suffer no petty ambushes. To ensure that the Helina's attack worked to perfection, it too would be aided by their six torpedo tubes, also utilizing the Dominion's favorite, the Shkval torpedo.

Also joining into the engagement were the twenty-eight Triara class light cruisers, who would turn their four six-inch guns against the six missile boats behind the fleet. To aid in this endeavor, they would throw in their three-hundred and eighty-four P-800 missiles as well. With twenty eight ships hurling well over ten thousand and seven hundred missiles at only six ships, they were sure that this engagement would not last long, how many anti-missile systems can handle that, and in case that was not enough, every light cruiser also began a barrage from their four torpedo tubes, adding their underwater ordinance to that of their cousins, directed at the cruisers main targets, of course.

There was no doubt in the minds of the Dominion; this would be a quick and easy fight...

-Chitzeland Sea-
Below the surface fighting the 60 sucide subs with torpedoes became the equivlant of trying to swat a fly with a baseball bat. The small subs would simply dodge incoming attacks and continue their course, no matter how well the Pudu torpedoes could turn it ended up dodging like a bullfighter against a bull. Only when they became surrounded by a group of the weapons were they destroyed, even that however meant a the force of a 1000lb bomb detonated near Puduian subs, spreading shockwaves through the water, slamming any subs with the force. Still despite their efforts over 30 of the small subs were destroyed by the barrage, but that left more than 25 to freely hit groupings of Dominion subs and the engines, rudders and hulls of the battleships with 1000lb explosives. The Roydia classes would soon be paralyzed and breached.

The bottom launched Torpedoes increased their speed and started hitting the Puduian subs and surface ships, which wasn't hard as it just meant going straight up, their suddeness caught the the Pudu torpedoes, which had been frustraintly targeting the Sucide subs, completely off guard.

-Surface battle-
On the surface the counterattack went better, stil the missile counterfire was expected as always, which is why the officers of the ships activated their Radar jammers while the ones without Jammers used mortars to launch Chaff high above the ships.

-Rear of enemy Fleet-
The 6 ships to the rear had no chance at all to escape destruction so as the missiles closed in they abandoned ship. Launching their remaining 200 Missiles at the enemy fleet, simply hoping that even if jammed that enough of them would be low enough to just hit them anyway.

-Portside-
The group launched over 400 more missiles, finishing their first barrage before the shells began to fall, the 6in guns did little damage to the enhanced armor of the ships, while the 14in guns did manage do moderate damage to the deck of the ship as well one slamming into the bridge of a ship, killing the captain and most of the command center, crippling it. The countermeasures confused the incoming missiles greatly but still many managed to slam into th ships, causing immense damage to some and sinking the already damaged other ship. Even with the countermeasures close range Gattling defensive fire, the ships were in poor shape at the end, many taking on water and soon be to at the bottom. However this still didn't prevent them from engaging the Torpedoes with launched Depth charges and using anti Sub missiles on them.

-Front-
The most prepared group was in the lead. Therefore when the missiles went at them they didn't have a chance before the skies were filled with missile counterfire, taking a leaf out of Parthia's book the missiles exploded with FAEs destroying the majority of the incoming attack. The 16 inch guns however started blasting at the group, a few landing powerful hits on the massive supertankers, 3 were severely damaged and 2 more were sunk from the barrage, but they knew as soon as the sucide subs and torpedoes hit, the enemy battleships would be in the same situation.

-30 Miles Starboard-
The single Missile sub prepared for a sub surface Balistic Missile launch, the Missile chosen was no nuclear but instead the patented Nod MIRV missile, with the fire codes given the missile launched, heading high over the Pudu fleet, detonating and filling the sky with assorted bombs and other explosives; which began to rain down on the fleet below.

Artillery units were placed at every other row. Mobile SAM units made sure the skies were clear. Occasionally, a hellicopter or two would fly over the column to see if everything was working out, but that stopped as noon approached. Ten EMP Tanks were placed evenly throughout the column in cases of heavy attack. The Naval Battle, Chitze Sea, Nod Attack
The Pudite fleet as a whole was still in relatively good shape, although some of the smaller Triara class ships were taking a beating and the submarine sections were under a determined assault, they would hold, communications would be clear, and victory would be imminent.

On the surface, the large battleships and battlecruisers kept up their relentless assault, launching twelve and fourteen inch shells into the decks of the foreign attackers, while keeping up the missile assault. Although on the surface these ships were targeted quite heavily, their missile defenses were proportionately better, and so still, only superficial damage was done to the Roydia class ships, save for one, who unlike the others who were hardly damaged, was sinking. Yes, this one ship had taken an estimated three hundred missiles, and was now dead. There was no hope for the ship or the crew, even if the Dominion was of the habit of rescuing their sailors...

As for the rest of the surface fleet, total casualties from the enemies counterattack had amounted too the single Roydia class battleship, a single Helina class battleship, and three Triara class light cruisers all of whom were now on their way to the bottom of the ocean. Although a few other ships had taken quite noticeable damage, most were still fully operable, although all had by now taken casualties.

Below the sea, a similar battle was unfolding. The Forthar class submarines took advantage of the enemies pre-occupation with attacking the surface ships, and attacked. With each submarine launching over twenty-five projectiles of various sorts, something was bound to hit, especially with their attention focused elsewhere. As for those still playing with the Pudite submariners, they were targeted equally as heavily.

Pudite underwater casualties had so far amounted to just over a dozen attack submarines.

These, however, were not the only things down there. The twenty-five Port class cruise missile submarines prepared a first launch of their deadly cargo. They would target the enemy fleet forces floating ahead of the Pudite flotilla. Every submarine would launch eight nine-hundred pound LADAR guided cruise missiles, whose high-explosive and incendiary warheads would impact the surface of the forward attacking ships, either sinking them or at least causing a significant amount of chaos...

Now, the enemy submarines had recently launched a series of attacks of the steering systems of the large Roydia class battleships, as well as a series of floor-launched torpedoes which would impact the bottom of the battleships. Now, although the anti-torpedo systems of the capital ships were quite effective, it was the simple overload of enemy munitions. The Pudite computers tracked every single torpedo, not all could be destroyed. Casualties amounted to significant damage to two battleships, and the destruction of the steering facilities on a further two. Although they could no longer maneuver, for them the fight would continue, there was no other choice.

The fleet was putting up a fight, although it was clear now to the Dominion that their heavy capital ships were not invincible...

-Ocean-
What was left of the sucide subs attempted a last charge to take out the subs but it was unknown if any of the few remaining could do anything. But all in all L was nearly complete as the final round of 400 missiles (In time limits of 15 seconds for reloading) fired from the few remaining surface vessels, which were now attempting a retreat. They used the Line of Sight method to attempt to prevent more damage to the few ships, putting the most damaged one closest to the enemy and placing the ship in the best condition at the end of a line, the missiles could only target the first of the ships hopefully. Still the missiles slamming into the first ships caused some to continue on into the second and damaged the third, fourth then fifth The Surface fleet wasn't going to be able fight again anytime soon. But then again, if the Pudite fleet was to attempt to follow, the next group of Mines would be able to activate over their advance.

-Above the Battle-
The multimissile munitions began to fall towards the fleet, the 24 missiles that had been contained with in coming at the ships from straight up, the movement was to distract.

-Nearby-
A few miles away at the bottom of the ocean orders were given to the Nod sub fleet that had, until now silently waited. They powered up and began to move towards the battle, preparing to each launch their first 6 torpedoes. Equalling over 600 torpedoes in all as the first wave.

-Pudite subs-
The already flooded sonar, (From the various torpedoes, sinking ships, debris, etc) began picking up a massive amount of incoming targets from the south, the part where as until now had been the one clear area. The massive amount of targets increased to nearly blot out the screen of the area as the Nod subs began to launch torpedoes.

Part A was commencing.

The Naval Battle, Chitze Sea, Nod Attack
The Pudite submarines were fighting on, and now it seemed to them that the enemy was falling quicker, more easily, certainly victory was near. As the last few foreign subs began their futile attack against the Pudite survivors, a final volley of torpedoes was launched as the Forthar attack submarines scattered, moving into positions which would surround those that managed to survive, where the readied second volley would finish them off.

As the underwater conflict seemingly drew to a close, it appeared on the surface that the situation was similar. The larger Pudite ships had survived with minimal casualties, while the smaller Triara class light cruisers had taken only minimal casualties. As the enemy fleet began its retreat, the Pudite commanders put a new plan into effect. The smaller, faster Triara class ships would form a thin perimeter around the Helina and Roydia class vessels, which would hopefully detect any remaining mines, stray torpedoes, or surviving submarines and be able to destroy them properly once found.

The larger ships, as the enemy surface fleet fled, opened fire on the closest vessels with the larger fourteen inch guns, tearing gargantuan holes in the deck and carrying through to the very bottom of the craft, gutting those who even now attempted to disengage. As for those without a direct line of sight through the other ships, they would be dealt with through concentrated missile barrages. They were in no danger of reaching the outer edges of the Pudite missiles range in any time soon, and so one by one, the fleeing craft would be utterly annihilated.

Vice Admiral Feodor, which literally translated as "God's Gift", observed the mopping up of the remains of the enemy fleet from one of the numerous observation decks of his Roydia class battleship, Wrath of God. Standing beside him was his second in command, Captain Sadok. The pair was surrounded by the bustling staff of the Wrath's upper echelon command crew, moving through the observation deck between the main communications and command rooms, above and below the Vice Admiral, respectively.

For three or four minutes they stood by silently as the ships under their command sliced through the remaining foreign vessels who had been impudent enough to attack, Feodor spoke first, "Who do you suppose they were?" His voice was softer than usual, he was used to having to shout his orders through the phone or across a crowded deck. For another few seconds Sadok did nothing, hands folded behind his back, he stared forward, "Well, the boys down below say the submarine force matched some we encountered..." The Vice Admiral cut him off, saying "No, who do you suppose they were? The men who just died..." The Captain turned quickly to face his commander, "Sir, what are you saying? You would, inquire, of those foreign soldiers?"

The Vice Admiral stared forward, saying nothing, turned to the Captain, and spoke, "It matters not, I suppose they were like us, raised to fight, and they died for their Emperor, just as we will. I don't know what led me to wonder..."

Sadok thought to himself, without speaking, as he turned back out to sea, to watch the last small ships be covered in missiles launched from his own vessel, How could he think that, how can I question him, it disturbs me, but I matter not, he thought, no, think... no. How? Captain Sadok remained silent.

Suddenly, surprising both men, a younger officer, a Lieutenant, came running out of the elevator, shouting as he approached, "Sirs, a massive presenc-"

The Lieutenant was cut off as the entire ship shook, a salvo of torpedoes had just struck them in the starboard side, throwing the men and officers of the ship nearly off their feet. The Lieutenant, who had fallen, stood up as he finished his message, "A massive presence, starboard side, submarines sir, loads of 'em!"

All three left the room quickly, taking the elevator up the few hundred feet to the command deck, where a defense would be coordinated for the fleet.

This defense consisted of the ready-formed remaining Triara class cruisers acting in an ASW role, using torpedoes and sonar-seeking depth charges to reduce the amount of incoming threats. Once past this, the Helina and Roydia class capital ships would concentrate their torpedo fire on one or two targets at a time, destroying one before moving on to another.

As for the remaining submarines, they were not taken as by surprise, and so they had prepared a larger opening salvo, with each of the surviving sixty or so ships launching eight supercavitating torpedoes at well over thirty knots into the center of the on rushing mass. This, however, was just about all they could do as the enemies hundreds of torpedoes smashed into them, sending just under half directly to the bottom, while the last thirty five or so struggled to defend themselves.

The Dominion would still win, although the submarine force was nearly crippled, as the estimate from the commanding Vice Admiral stated.

City of Dessledor, Pudite Assault Force, Midday
The large, one-hundred division, assault on the Chitze city of Dessledor was coming into view of the city itself. The entire force was riding in either their SIV-25 infantry fighting vehicles, their Ural transport trucks, and the smaller LV-08 light infantry vehicles kitted out as troop carriers, and so they had made good time.

Commanding this force was Field Marshal Vladislav, who was even now riding at the head of his tank column, watching as the advance elements of the Emperor's army entered the city, riding on combat-equipped LV-08s. They would ride quickly through the streets, performing reconnaissance that was necessary, and eliminating obvious threats that were within their capabilities.

Only a few minutes after the reconnaissance battalion entered the city, Vladislav received a quick burst of radio transmission, “RB-0332 reporting, areas two through seven appear unoccupied, civilian resistance minimal, no enemy presence detected as of yet, reporting now on tens.” The Field Marshal picked the radio off his collar and brought it up to his mouth, “Check, tens” he repeated.

Vladislav now had his report, and could confidently decide on further course of action. This course would consist of the two-hundred and seventy five thousand GT-6B ‘Lion’ main battle tanks continuing forward, moving through the city in squads of four tanks, clearing every street and alley as the troop elements of ten mechanized divisions moved through behind them. These troops moved in platoons of fifty-five, each with seven SIV-25 infantry fighting vehicles and a pair of LV-08 light infantry vehicles. They would physically search every building in the city, advancing together with the tank elements, which would often be forced to wait for up to half an hour at a time as the infantry cleared every building. To each of the twenty-thousand platoons of infantry eight tanks would be assigned, making each platoon a formidable individual unit, especially when supported by the twenty-thousand or so tanks that advanced behind the infantry line, in reserve in the case of real fighting.

Outside the city, the remaining forty mechanized infantry divisions would immediately set up their self-propelled 155mm and 280mm howitzers. This force would remain in a state of ready reserve, waiting to deliver the troops and firepower where it would be needed should combat occur.

The second half of the attack would also be deployed, the fifty motorized divisions also under Vladislav’s command. They would encircle the city, with twenty-five moving in each direction, setting up in intervals so that the entire city was surrounded by dismounted infantry, supported by mobile artillery and IFVs. They would begin the defensive line, to serve for now as a roadblock for those leaving the city, but to serve in the future as the first line in the defense of the area. Another mission of theirs was to cut down every telephone and electrical wire they encountered.

Any civilian in the city that resisted in any way the search of the premises, the occupation of their city, or the presence of the Pudite soldiers in general, would be shot immediately. Their body would not be disposed of, as this would take important soldiers away from the front. During the searches, any weapons, explosives, or dangerous materials at all would be confiscated. Also, every television encountered anywhere would be destroyed. All mobile phones encountered would be immediately destroyed. This city would be isolated, by any means necessary.

Any civilian leaving the city that was encountered by the Pudite motorized divisions were immediately detained. Any resisting would be shot. Anyone attempting to enter the city on foot, by air, or by car would be shot.

All information regarding these executions and tactics would be contained to the city to the best of the ability of the Pudites, going as far as attempting to block mobile phone calls through the use of a squadron of F/E-177A Coldun electronic warfare aircraft, flying a continuous circle over the area, serving to block the signals of cell phones and as mobile eyes in the sky, with greater capabilities than the Peregrine and HVC-01 combat helicopters that accompanied the ground forces.

Dessledor was Pudite now, it was an irreversible process that was soon to befall the final cities of Pudite East Chitzeland. The war was ending…

Ort
3 batteries of guns were offloaded from the recently arrived container vessel. Each was a simple assemly, consisting of a railgun and power generator. These nine weapons, capable of propelling a shell into space and down onto enemy targets, would be sufficent to maximize counterbattery fire against PROHT rail gun units.

FBs 2B and 2C
Opened fire upon the recently - hopefully - blinded Parthinan troops attacking Bearmish. 100 pound shells at a rate of one shell every 3 seconds.

FBs 4A and 4B
After recently hearing of the blindsiding of Parthians's survailence systems, gave their usual "howdy do" to Ort. 100 lb shells at a rate of 2 shells every 15 seconds.

Ort
The Parthian garrison was living within bunkers, mostly safe from the scourge of shells landing upon what on the surface mostly consisted of a construction crew and the death camps, along with runways and occasionally port facilities. However, they were a nuisance, and would have to be silenced once and for all.

30 railgun bunkers now went active, with the blast doors covering them pulling away, with the assemblies moving into the sun. Targetting computers went active, punching in the location of known Firebases using the information satellites and spy planes provided. Within seconds, a barrage of shells began, ten minutes worth of shells were unloaded upon the various firebases of the FB-2 cluster, 30 inch shells flying high into the air, arcing down upon the bunkers with high speed, massive shells which would easily tear apart even fortified positions.

With ten minutes of firing done, the railguns pulled back downwards and were once again covered by the three foot thick blast doors.

But it was not over for the firebases, both FB-2 and FB-4 were targetted with 100 AGM-240 missiles each, which, it was assumed, would either annihilate or bury any fortified positions under rockslides and collapses in any bunker system they set up.

With that done, it was a time for a new order. Of the 500 Mechanized Infantry and 35 armored divisions in Ort, it was decided 250 Infantry and 25 Armored divisions would be redeployed, moving out of Ort and towards the other port city of Shetterdan, which would be the next to fall, due to what intelligence pointed to as significant weakness.

The Parthian force would take the east of the country, while Parthian forces moving towards Pelsgord would move upon Providence and sack the city. They were already leaving a path of destruction as they moved, burning towns and sending civilians in them to the 'refugee camps' in Ort.

Also, involving the Ort/FB gun/missile duel: What parts of the instalations are you targeting? The bunkers (Heavy fortification, guns are hidden here in the event of a raid), firing pits (lightly armored turntable) or forward positions (where the infantry fights)?

OTC-1
Reports:
Contact with Firebase cluster 2 lost, bases presumed destroyed.
Orders:
Shall send a platoon into the region to investigate the next day.

Couldn't find resaults, remembered it was some sort of 'special preparation' made for counter-counter battery fire.

I think I deleted that post. [searches for backup documentation]

Train to FB-3A
The troops on the train, as they passed FB-2A, let out a platoon because they had been ordered to send a patrol to investigate loss of contact with OTC-1, while in the sky they saw two plumes of fire, one was FB-3A, the other was FB-3B, the Chitzis, now saw for the first time, that their training was comparatively "easy" compared to the task they had volunteered to do. Push the Parthians back to whence they came.

One of the PROHT officers decided another mral boost was in order, so he reminded them of the attricities they had commited in Ort, and the brave troops in Pelsgard, and Bearmish, and the 2 day standoff with the Pudites, to turn tail and run would be admitting defeat, and ultimately death.

The Dephirian fleet had finally reached Breschar (sp?). They had snuck past the naval battle, and were now halting their progression. It seemed as if Pelsgord was only a few hundred miles away, more than likely less. Which would mean that it is in the range of the Dominator-Class Rail Cannons aboard the Defiance and several other ships. In unmatched unison, one hundred DCR Cannons directed their bulky barrels in the targeting position. A loud humming sound vibrated the waters as the generator inside each cannon burst into life. Moments afterward, a large shell was loaded into each cannon. Each shell was roughly the size of a semi truck, trailer and all. These would be the Anti-Ground shells with the full effective radius of two square miles.

A mechanical clang echoed throughout the fleet as the ammunition was successfully loaded and waited to be fired. The voice of Admiral Jane warned all hands on deck to report below deck. Then the booming sound of a hundred large cannons firing in simultaneous motion towards Pelsgord. The recoil of the cannons caused a huge wave of not only water, but air as well. It traveled swiftly, and crashed upon the port city of Breschar, wiping most of the structures closer to the waters out. Many buildings do however survive, but are severely damaged. The Dephirian Column appears right on time to take what they need and level the city.

Pudite Expansion, Assault Force: Dessledor, Course of a few days
The Pudite assault force in Dessledor, which had by now secured the city, was again looking intent on expanding. The first two things that came to the minds of the Pudite theater commanders was the location of a pair of cities, the city of Yrttel, and that of Uphelzor. Although the ultimate objective was the city of Zarzor, these two settlements proved to be a thorn in the side of the Dominion. Both would have nearly unrestricted access to the flanks and rear of the Pudite army should it leave Dessledor, and would be able to quickly strike to retake the city should they retreat. This left the Pudites in somewhat of a dilemma. The solution was, of course, to conquer both cities and burn them to the ground.

This was would be done. Only hours after the final soldiers entered the new Pudite city of Dessledor, soldiers left the old Pudite cities of Elfzor and Accen. Each city hosted quite a large amount of Pudite soldiers, and both now would project their power outwards. From Accen, ninety divisions, nearly two-million soldiers, would be deployed. These men, almost entirely infantry, would march quickly along the major highways, and strike in Yrttel. No resistance, save for that of the Chitzi militias already encountered in the past, was expected. A clean takeover, as it were. In eight hours time the first advance vehicles would enter the city, and in twelve hours the place would be completely beneath the Iron Fist of the Dominion.

From Elfzor, significantly fewer soldiers were deployed, namely, a pair of light infantry divisions were chosen for the assault, escorted by a single armored formation. In four hours the small city would be dominated, and was expected to put up even less resistance than it's westerly counterpart. These two thorns in the lions flank would be removed, and then the assault could continue.

In the meantime, while the main forces in Elfzor and Dessledor awaited the order to march on Zarzor, the officials in Dessledor saw fit to secure one final town before the final assault. The small port city of Beschar was entirely overlooked in Dominion strategy, but it did fall under the outlines laid out for final Dominion occupation. He, Field Marshal Vladislav, decided it was time to take it.

Standing over a map laid out over the hood of an LV-08 vehicle, the Field Marshal, surrounded by his two top generals, Tekhomil and Klobuk, respectively. They were surveying maps of Chitzeland, charting Dominion advances and discussing strategy, "You see, if we advance any further forward, here, and here," Vladislav said, pointing at Yrttel and Uphelzor, "Would be able to strike at our flanks with ease. Now this... and, this, could be covered by an advance through... here, Yrttel remains a problem." After a few more minutes of pointing, explaining, and general head nodding from the, well, generals, the Field Marshal got around to the subject of Beschar.

"See, this city here serves no tactical purpose, it's not a threat, and in fact our brilliant adversaries have taken the liberty of burning most of the place to the ground for us," The pair of Dominion generals, who were used to their armies doing this, but had never encountered their enemies do the same thing, looked perplexed, "Yes, they destroyed it, but it's still a port and they can still ship through it. We take it, tomorrow." Both generals nodded, "Yes, but as you explained, we cannot leave the city..." The Field Marshal responded quickly, "Yes, we cannot all leave the city, but you," He gestured to general Tekhomil, "Can. Take with you two-hundred thousand of your troops, take the port, and destroy it. You know the procedure. Establish patrol routes as far west as this river," He pointed to the large river running south from Providence, "But no further. Across that river is Parthian territory. We have nothing to do with that area. Any hostiles there may be engaged, but do not cross. Artillery is the tool, establish a small fire base around ten miles inland from the mouth to control the flow. Keep it secure, patrols every half hour. Nobody crosses, this is ours now..."

And that is how it went. Ten divisions of mechanized infantry, commanded by General Tekhomil, advanced out of the city three hours before dawn, and would arrive in the small southern city well before the sun rose. They would take control of the port and settlement, and level it. Anything that remained after the Dephirians moved out was blown flat, and any people were rounded up and cut off from the world, just as before.

All in all, three more cities would be added to the Dominion's roster all in less than twelve hours time, and with minimal fighting. Surely, this war was in its closing days...

War reports and satalite imagery revealed a very disturbing situation developing in the east.

Pudite troops were approaching the East Chitzi Border, and even thought the People's Republic had no business in the east, once they crossed that border they would be forced to act.

A very brief telegram was sent:

To: Mr. White, Dominion Of Emporer Pudu
From: Hubert Pinkerton, Peoples Republic Of Hurtful Thoughts

I am sorry to inform you that our former minister of foriegn affairs has been removed for legal matters, apparently he had been doing many, illiegal activities. As his replacement I inherited this mess in Chitzeland in which I do not fully understand, and I am even wonderiong what Major Major ever saw in the place.

Regardless, we have signed a number of treaties, one with the Chitzis declareingf that we must protect Chitzeland from foriegners, ad another with you ceding a considerable portion of land, in which you were allowed to control.

Even though many of your recent actions in "East Chitzeland" have been... unsavory, we have done exactly as promised and looked the other way.

But now your army is approaching the east/West border, and once you cross that line, you shall be considered an aggressor again, and we shall pusue your troops and your government with extreme prejudice.

Already I have been informed that our border patrol has orders to shoot to kill and ask questions later. And a preplanned counter invasion has already been planned in detail.

I implore you and your forces to cease and desist immediately.

OOC: They are targetting the bunkers only in FB-4, but FB-3A is getting hit in the defensive weapons and infantry positions.
Aha, now I remember.
The guns at FBC-4 were outside of the bunkers, and therefore were not harmed .
Then roughly 4 divisions came by via train to clean up the rubble shortly after your men left FB-3A.

FBC-4 stopped shelling anyways and decided [B]not to fire* until Ort's railguns opened up again, upon which they would counter-couter battery fire your guns.

*To make your troops think they succeeded in destroying the Firebase.

And now you are shelling them again (FBC-2 this time, while the bigger guns of FBC-4 are unchecked).

So how far off is that? Please say it sounds familiar, as the post it came from was deleted.

To: Hubert Pinkerton, Peoples Republic Of Hurtful Thoughts
From: Mr. White, foreign affairs officer
Subject: Dominion East Chitzeland

We assure you, Mr. Pinkerton, The Dominion has no ambitions in the west. Our soldiers are under orders not to cross the river, through Providence, which we consider the East/West dividing line. No Pudite involvement will extend any further than the river, and a dividing line running north from that point. We also, however, have no intentions to cease our advances within our own territory, and no intentions not to claim every last inch of what, we hope we both, consider our own.

Good day,

Pelsgord Relief Column

The Parthian forces now scattered as the shells began to fall, nevertheless, a horrid bombardment which claimed the lives of 15,400 men, and the operating lifetimes of 205 MBTs and over 500 other vehicles. 9200 men were injured, some mortally, and 312 other vehicles were damaged. The relief column would have to continue on, however, and to retaliate upon the Dephirians, the Parthian fleet sent from the mainland now moved into position, intending to utterly annihilate all allied fleets in the nation, destroying any chance the coalition had at securing Chitzeland.

Parthian Grand Fleet

With the first shot of the end for the Coalition, the massive Parthian armada unloaded, from over 200 miles away, 1500 AGM-250 'Caesar' ASMs, designed to fly low, right over the water to avoid detection, and at relativley lower speeds to avoid IR contact. 60 miles away from the Dephirian fleet, the Parthian missiles would drop into the water, jettisoning the rocket booster and activating screw propulsion, which would carry them within 6 miles of the enemy fleet, before activating supercavitating engines which would accelerate the torpedoes to 200 knots, carrying them right into the Dephirian fleet at a speed which was well nigh impossible to counter with anti-torpedo maneuvers or countermeasures.

It would be the first, of many blows, designed to eventually choke the sealanes, preventing further reinforcement to the coalition, and allowing the Parthians to destroy the Chitizis.

Pelsgord
Special Unit "MG"
The 'battle' for Pelsgord was almost at an end, as it now was starting to turn into a long range artillery duel between railguns.

The Parthians may have had better railguns, and more of them*, but every one of them was stuck in the same place, and became sitting ducks to the surprise counter battey fire from FB-4A and FB-4B, coinciding with the Wanderjarian EMP assault on Ort.

FBC-2 apparently took some damage, lessening the shelling by 20%, but FBC-1 maanaged to pick up most of the slack as the guns at FBC-2 rushed to alternate firing positions in an attempt not to get caught by Parthian missiles again.

The artillery spotters of Gable's elite unit of former artilerymen were doing their job, spotting the exact coordnates of each enemy position and relasying them to the guns many miles away, which in turn would fire the appropriate ammunition (AP, cluster, mines; and GPS, ballistic, or terminal homing guidance [or hybrid GPS/terminal home]).

Laser designators started coming into use as the advance became sufficent to warrant terminally laser guided shells, but generally GPS was sufficent for dropping mines immediately in front of the retreating Parthians, whenever they stopped their GPS would be fixed, Hurtian troops would hunker down, a terminal guided shel was fired, and 5 minutes later the enemy would be gone. Hurtians advance, repeat until batteries die.

As usual, Marcus Gable himself went missing again, it was assumed he tripped and fell into one of their own trenches again, and would appear shortly afterwards. The battle was nearly over and still no sign of M. Gable since he appeared at the front lines.

*I think you claimed to have around thirty 36" railguns

En route to Ort
Via air
The mssive airdrop would son be underway, it was assumed that the Wanderjarian airstrikes, along with the rest of the coalition running follow up strikes, would suffieciently soften up the enemy to make the drop itself a cakewalk.

Incorrect in almost every way imaginable.

Even with their own jammers running at full capacity, the planes had to jink around at crazy angles, many of the towlines for the glider troops broke prematurely. Bombers dropped their bombs on reletively unimportant SAM sites and gun batteries rather than Ort's main infrastructure and troop concentrations in order to make the drop slighly less suicidal.

6 B-52s lost of 9 sent. And only one Bomber actually made it over to their intended target, but was blown out of the sky by a clever AA gunner.

Shortly afterwards the C-17s ran the gauntlet, many decided to drop supplies and troops shortly after seeing their gliders hit the ground, others just kept flying into the flak, never to be heard from again. Of the 12 C-17s involved, only 7 returned and only 10 managed to drop their troops (one was way off and deep in enemy territory).

The gliders where fortunate, since almost all of them were released prematurely, this however also was a bad thing, as many gliders didn't make it to suitable landing zones, and some even attempted landing on the Chitzi highways then frequented by Parthian patrols, though they were spared death in the air, they had been massacred on the ground due not to the Parthians, but to the trees.

Casualties had been so high, that the 2nd wave had been canceled, and the planes recalled back to New Roanoke Island.

Hurtian/Chitzi Pelsgord Reinforcement Column
Marching right along... at a snails pace
It was hoped that the 40+ divisions worth of armed and angry refugees would have distracted Parthian counterattacks. But rather, they marched unmolested. They camped the first night by the roadside, some of the refugees underwent basic weapons familiarisation training, but little else. Already the marksmen had been compiled for further training into an elite militia unit from the refugees, and photoes and stories were swapped. The next day they would see Pelsgord and all its splendor.

And a large base practically on the East/West Chitzi peacetime border.

Now draw another line from Provisence to Pelsgord.

Parthia is going to try and attack my fleet, so if anyone could kindly assist my one hundred and fifty submarines, I would be most appreciative.

OOC: Your fleet is currently under attack, actually.

Ort

Shells fell directly on the opened Parthian railguns, destoying 25 of the 30, and damaging a further 3, leaving them temporarily unoperable. Two were in working order, but were ordered to pull back under the protection of their blast doors to defend against further attacks. Response would have to come, not from a railgun, but from something far more powerful, the so called "Mehr-e Ohrmazd," The Fire of Ahura Mazda. Three massive gun batteries outside Ort were perhaps some of the most potent weapons devised by the Parthian ordinance developers, designed to provide a land-based answer to superdreadnoughts, they also provided a sufficent force to destroy the enemy gun batteries once and for all.

Into each massive barrel, a single 12 ton high explosive shell was loaded, with the barrel raising into the sky, the propellant charge was loaded into a special chamber buried underground, a subkiloton nuclear device would act as the propellant charge, rocketing the massive shells directly into the enemy firebase, letting the 12 ton shell demolish the entire area, flattening it for over a mile in each direction, launched at both FB-4A and FB-4B, one shell from each Mehr-e Ohrmazd.

As soon as they fired, in a blast of heat which ruined the barrel lining, sending the massive shells hurtling upwards into the highest reaches of the stratosphere, then downwards at speeds equitable to meteors. Each would smash into the ground at a speed of kilometers per second, burying the weapon downwards and creating a crater over a hundred meters wide, before detonating and creating a blast wave which would tear apart anything the initial impact did not. With the shells fired, the guns retreated into their fortified positions, where liquid nitrogen tanks began to emit cooling sprays to bring the temperature of the device down, while another barrel lining, and another shot, was prepared.

To combat the fire directed at Parthian artillery, the Parthian forces began to move backwards, away from Ort. Their intent was simple, loop around the city and leave it, then move out and engage the approaching Chitzi column in full force, intending to break the enemy once and for all, and to seize Providence itself, an event which would bring an end to the war, and if nothing else, to Chitzeland's existence.

Casualties amongst artillery forces were immense, ranging from a low of 10% to a high of 72%, in total, 2592 guns were destroyed. To protect the last ones from the scourge of PROHT firebases, the final solution already given by the Mehr-e Ohrmazd to FB-4 was to be directed again at FB-2 and FB-1.

Parthian tactical missile forces had authorized one final push to annihilate enemy long range guns in retaliation for the attack on the Parthian long range guns, now, 50 IRBMs were unloaded upon FB-1, each equipped with fuel-air explosives designed to annihilate the enemy guns, while a further 50 were launched upon FB-2. The power of a Hiroshima sized bomb had been unloaded upon each firebase, and now, if they went out of commission, the Parthians would begin their full assault on the approaching PROHT-Chitzi column.

Shetterdan

The Wanderjarian pullout (OOC: He recently declared his intent to cease RPing for awhile, and kind of RPed his own collapse.), had left Shetterdan mostly open, with the Parthian Immortals pouring through the city, massacreing the Chitzis unfortunate enough to be caught in the open. Others fled out of the city, only to be cut down by Parthian forces ringing it. Parts of the city burned, while others were cleansed, as the Immortals amused themselves by massacreing the Chitzis who survived the previous attacks by beheading them with their Shamshirs. Infants were torn from their mothers and used for bayonet practice, while the heads of other Chitzis were placed into piles and left as a grisly trophy of Parthian destruction.

None were to be spared, Shetterdan would become nothing more than a ghost town, with nothing to indicate human presence but the pyramids of sun-bleached skulls left in what they once called public squares.

"That is it gentlemen. DIVE!"

-The Submarine capable Capital Flagships dived below the surface before any damage could be brought upon them. Every other ship stayed on the surface and would have to recieve damage. The Column on the shore saw an enemy fleet arrive, and they decided to fire burst missiles upon them. One hundred missiles were fired from both Land and Air forces. Twenty were burst capable, the rest were of a highly potent toxin that would cause blisters and eventual death. Even through the thickest of infantry clothing. This Parthian fleet will suffer blight like never before.

Several hundred torpedos were launched at the Parthian fleet as well. Many were Sub-Nuclear, or Not quite WMD status.-

"Ma'am, we are underwater now."

-Admiral Jane looked over the status of her fleet.-

"Alright. Now have our surface ships fire their Stonehenge Class Rail Cannons upon the fleet. The Shockwave should wipe out enough of them for us to be safe enough to resurface."

-The SCRCs locked on and fired, not directly at the enemy ships...but right before them. This created a five hundred foot tidal wave. Then the DCRCs aimed and fired creating a fifteen hundred foot secondary wave.-

"Cannons fired. Reloading is being commenced."

-Jane looked at her second in command.-

"How long until the Anti-Naval Rounds are in?"

-The Captain looked at his screen.-

"Twenty minutes, ma'am."

-Jane looked through her periscope.-

*SNIP*
-Shetterdan-
One could wonder how the Parthian troops could so easily break through the city, because, as the first of the soldiers entered it, they fell prey to the dropped Motion sensing mines that would quickly dismember the head of the advancing troops, what's more considering the fact that the Parthians themselves gassed the entire city before invading, they had to satify themselves with stabbing and shooting the already dead citizens. Of course even that joy ended when the sewer bombs detonated. Which resulted in the collapse of all the major streets, and everything on them. There was not much left of the city after the destruction wrought by the traps. There would be no pyramids of bones, because there were no more city squares. And from above the Air attacks kept coming.
OOC: Considering the fact that Ustia and me are bombing the heck out of you Parthia, there is no way that Shetterdan would be a cake walk, since you didn't respond to the attacks I'm assuming that you didn't try to stop them.

At the bottom it thinly goes into Meord. The last sentance is the only bit I wont change.

Tell me yours, so we can agree on one.

"Hello mate! Bit of a mess we got ourselves in here, aye? Could you send some assistance over with this naval battle going on? The Drevin and Defiance can hold their own, but the smaller ships cannot. Drevin is a Super Sub-Carrier as is the Defiance. They both are equipped with the DCRC technology, but many of the surface ships cannot hold that heavy of a gun. This will be your chance to redeem yourself. We don't care if East Chitz is lost. Dephire is aiming forward to Shetterdan, Ort, Pelsgord, and Bechar. This will be the only land that we would like out of this whole business. With this proposal, you will be given free armaments for your own disposal. Twelve Dominator-Class Rail Cannons and fifteen Stonehenge-Class Rail Cannons. Think of the power you'd have! Har Har! No one-"

The line went cold.

"What the hell happened?"

Captain Morgan of the Dreadnought Pelegrad glared at his sailors.

"We took a hit to the communications tower."

The captain sat in his chair.

"Where is the Defiance and where is that Drevin?"

A sailor punched in some keys.

"Drevin is thirty kilometers east, close to Zarzor. Defiance is...forty-five kilometers south. Both out of immediate assistance range."

Morgan sighed.

"Is there something we can do? There has to be a way to communicate!"

OOC: Dephire, slight problem with submerging to stop the AGM-250 attack. The final stage of the weapon is a supercavitating torpedo, which would travel underwater anyway. By submerging, you merely make yourself more vulnerable to a pressure crush the torpedo would provide.

IC:

Shetterdan

In the air above, the Parthian F-78s engaged the enemy fighters, firing 450 HAMRAAM missiles in one barrage, intending to silence the problematic forces bothering the Immortals as they advanced into the city. F/A-78s, meanwhile, continued to pound Shetterdan with VX bombs, turning whatever parts of the city not already gassed into chemical wastelands.

Then, it happened in one flash as massive mines under the city detonated, ripping the whole city apart. Roads collapsed into the sewers below, Parthian tanks falling with them or being tossed into the air, while Immortals were torn apart. Buildings and structures collapsed as the Immortals died, torn asunder by the explosion. 9,540 of the 10,000 of some of Parthia's finest troops were dead, along with the majority of the city.

The Black Hand would pay, Chitzeland would pay as the 6th Immortals division ceased to exist. The Shah had decided already, the 10,000,000 Chitzis in Parthian camps were to be liquidated in punishment, all of them were to be killed over the next week, microwaved and deploymerized, with their last remains, artificial petroleum, burned in Parthian engines to finally destroy every last Chitzi in the entire country.

In the skies above, the Parthians now continued, calling in more F-78s from the Parthian fleet off Shetterdan to continue the assault, with the fleet itself unloading 500 more SAMs upon the enemy aircraft.

To compound the punishment the Black Hand would recieve for their foul Terrorism, the order went out, 450 ICBMs in Parthia were launched towards Hakken, each containing a joint standoff weapon, a massive warhead loaded with 120 guided submunitions which would destroy enemy armor, radar stations, aircraft, and anything else caught in the open, be it turrets or vehicles, everything would be purged.

....from over 200 miles away, 1500 AGM-250 'Caesar' ASMs, designed to fly low, right over the water to avoid detection, and at relativley lower speeds to avoid IR contact.

OOC: Somewhat, but they don't provide the same sonar signature a ship does, so it really would only be a problem if they got within the range of the mines, thus detonating the supercavitating torpedoes prematurely, which is why I ( and a lot of other nations) like to use small mines in barrages to counter torpedo spams.

-Hakkan-
The attack and the counterattack was more than anyone could have thought, but still they tried to defend the city any way they could. But even with over 500 AA guns, and a enough SAMs to fill a small lake, it was just impossible to block over 67,500 bombs. Even firewall tactics couldn't hold up, while thousands of the bombs were destroyed over 50,000 still impacted the city. Over 80,000 people were killed instantly as the entire city was leveled, out of that at least 15,000 were either Black Hand Soldiers or Black Hand Loyalists. Storage areas and vehicles were blasted into the sky. BY the time it ended there was a 99% casuality rate and everything within the circle that was attack was nothing but thousands upon thousands of crateors.

-Shetterdan-
What few planes that weren't destroyed by SAM fire exploded when their engines overheated. Besides there was no longer any point in defending Shetterdan, there was no Shetterdan.

The M.E.U base was almost completely demolished. Most of the armor had been destroyed or badly damaged considering the attack came out of the blue and the base wasn't fully finished yet. Casualties where put at 5,000 dead with many more thousands wounded. The rest had survived to clean up what was left. The M.A.S.H had survived the attack and was overflowed with wounded soldiers. It was a complete nightmare that seemed to have no end.

Shetterdan:
Even with the advanced anti-missile systems of the Ustian aircraft it was still literally impossible to avoid that many missiles so 18 Arrows were shot down with only about half of the crews successfully punching out. The F/A 35 Talons quickly engaged the enemy aircraft to buy time for the rest of the attack force to withdraw. The Talons fired their missiles at the enemy aircraft while the Wild Weasels jammed the enemy aircraft.

Zanski had just recieved an extra 4 million soldiers from the feared militia, ZATA, to take to Bealle.

With the order, the snipers in the towers began picking off individual Pudite soldiers waiting to be deployed over four miles away. The rapidfire turrets were still waiting to be given the go.

Large pewter bombs were being fired at the enemy lines as well, the few that got in spraying molten metal everywhere.
Also coming from the cannons were grenades and rockets.

seven hundred ZATA militia recited Gharrakmanist prayers before picking up their mortars and moving in for the kill, while the others set up guided Xuaxanuava 2.1 missiles and the artillery that would shoot them. They were guided and could send off four smaller missiles before reaching their target.

This was going to be a victory worth waiting for.

Draw a line along the highway from Herholtzer to Providence.
Everything north of that contains my firebases at semi-regular intervals.
I also have a small (legal) outpost nearby Locke.
And a large base practically on the East/West Chitzi peacetime border.

Now draw another line from Provisence to Pelsgord.
That is the Chitzi relief column.

Now draw a dashed line from Pelsgord to Ort...

Swap colors:
Now draw a line from Herholtzer along the West coast down to Shetterdan/Bearmish.
That is the Leafthansi mafia column, at the head of that line is the Black Hand.

How about a deal...

To allow my troops to get to Meord and yours to get south of Meord, we create a strip of peaceful no mans land, maybe like a crossroad-border type thing, where our troops can walk in and out of without being shot or captured.
And If what I think is right (Correct me...) then you have a base in my area... I will ask you to either leave or make a peace agreement and stay.

I'd only ataack you if both of the following are commited:

You stop fighting either Pudu or Parthians
You start terrorizing the inhabitants

You are safe till then.

and my map description is a little off

Firebases: Above Line along Herholtzer/Locke Highway, up to Providence.
Positions teritoy under control: same, including Providence to Locke highway area.

And I'm pretty sure the 'Pudies' (derrogitory term [correct term Pudites]) already crossed the East west Border (2nd river from Locke in the north, Beschar and Yrrtal in the south)

It's been somewhere around two hours since we started this stupid battle, and six million of your men have appeared out of absolutly nowhere... I have massive reinforcements coming, but it will take a long time to get them all together, organized, breifed, and moving, where as you have six million men just waiting the other side of the ether...

Also, how do the snipers see through four miles of swampy forrest and concrete? Please remember, I am defending positions I have fortified for three months. You seem to have ignored the fact that you are assembling towers of scafolding in the middle of a swamp high enough to see for four miles while under extremely precise sniper fire. Dephirian Fleet:

Every single ship of the Dephirian Fleet resurfaced in near unison. All of their armaments rotated forward, in rest position. A cease fire against the Parthians had just commenced. Hopefully the Parthian Fleet will respect Alexander's proposal through Admiral Jane as they relocate the ships to a new location. Every Dominator-Class Rail Cannon still hummed with the sounds of reloading, but they were not at firing status. If Parthia wished to continue their assault against the Dephirian Fleet, then so be it. However, if the Parthian Fleet decided to accept the proposal from the Dephirians, then there will be a new wave of change in Chitzeland. Several hundred submarines had now surfaced, and begun to change course back to Zarzor. Unknown to all, Zarzor was secretly being used as a make-shift all purpose base. The Dephirians had built several prefabricated structures, and had also placed a DCRC or two. This was all in case Dephire had to retreat, but seeing how everyone is demanding the surrender of Parthia and Pudite forces, Alexander has decided to assist them. Alexander stated to his people that the Parthians and Pudite forces are not the true enemies. The true enemies were a group far greater in strength...

Pudite East Chitzeland, Chitze Ocean, Pudite Fleet
The large Pudite fleets, ships formerly gleaming in white paint, now scarred, burned and generally beat up, were now finally sailing out of the Parthian trade routes and into open, unoccupied sea. Moving at twenty knots, to allow for some of the ships who had been damaged during the battle, they were making for the newly Pudite port-city of Zarzor. There they would put in for repairs and refueling for a period of a single week, and then most of the fleet would be ordered back to the north to engage other foreign shipping.

In the center of the fleet, the still pristine battleship Wrath of God, was leading the group back to the new port, deep in the central command room, below the waterline of the mighty craft, Vice Admiral Feodor was meeting with his captains. He was speaking now, presiding over a round black table in a dark room. The table was littered with maps of Chitzeland, communications, and sea charts. "Well, men. It seems that our mission has become redundant..." The Vice Admiral leaned forward, placing his fists upon the table, "While we were at sea, our own forces have marched into Zarzor, taking the final area of enemy resistance in East Chitzeland and ending the war in the south." There were some muffled congratulations and mutterings of praise, "Now, we are under new orders to make for the remaining ports of Zarzor, and re-supply there."

Speaking up now was a Captain Skhizhk, whose Triara class light cruiser had taken quite heavy torpedo and missile damage, "Sir, some of us have taken heavy damage, and cannot be expected to continue any operation in this theater until it has been repaired, possibly months of work..."

Feodor spoke then, "Yes, as hostilities have ceased, you shall be allowed to remain here for repairs. However, the rest of the fleet cannot afford those luxuries, and although you will be left with a small guard, I have been ordered to lead a task force back to the north, again to cut off shipping to the nation of 'Zanksi'. Details on this will be explained later, questions?"

Pudite East Chitzeland, Bealle Province, Zanksi Assault
The entireties of the Pudite garrison forces were now engaged. The enemy force was nearly overwhelming, but morale never faltered. Every Pudite would hold his position until dead, pain was no object, the enemy was no object, all that was required of them was to guard their own three-foot by three-foot space from foreign aggression, and they would.

Pudite heavy machine guns and light artillery raked across the front of the mass of enemy soldiers forced to cross the river, and would drop them where they stood. Heavy artillery and rocket attacks would target the massive reserve force of the enemy, waiting to engage, or alternatively, the few armored forces that could have traveled through such dense a swamp. The fight was surely a lost cause, but nobody in the Dominion could see it that way. The line would hold, the enemy would fail, and the attack was pointless.

Casualties were heavy, although not as much as one would expect, from such an assault, because the few Pudites there were not forced into close, cramped quarters by numbers as their enemies surely would be. Pudite return artillery fire and air strikes would be far more devastating to the enemy than their attacks could be to the Pudites.

Although nobody could see it that way, there was little time remaining in the Pudite defenders...

Alexander Ra'Baal, the now infamous leader of Dephire, stood behind a podium looking out towards a vast sea of people. Something was rather odd about the figure that stood before them. He seemed as if he had aged several years in only a few weeks. His voice was hoarse....and something was atop his head. The only people thinking of how awkward he looked were the people whom saw him everyday. Vega was even concerned about his leader's condition, but was silent as Alexander spoke a rather disturbing speech.

"I, Alexander, have just declared war on Zanski as a first in several new operations. Black Hand would be the next. Parthian and Pudite forces are no longer a threat to the Dephirian People! I, your Emperor, Command YOU to go out and Fight for the Motherland! Fight for your independance! FIGHT FOR YOUR EMPEROR!"

Vega could not believe his ears. Has Alexander gone mad? Surely he must realise that Zanski and Black Hand are Allies of Dephire. What has happened to the good man he knew as Alexander?

"Alexander! How..How could you bring about this to us? We had an agreement with the coalition forces to AID them in this conflict, not turn against them! I can not believe what I am hearing! War with the Coalition Forces will bring about war against the GASN and possibly the CA! What are you thinking?"

Alexander turned towards Vega. The smile that was once upon the emperor's face was gone. Even the twinkle in his eye was replaced by a darkness. This, however, was least of Vega's worries. Alexander seemed...blank-faced. As if he were over exhausted. 'Something is not right..' he said to himself. Vega looked up to gaze back into Alexander's eyes.

"Also, Vega has been replaced by my new apprentice. Let me introduce, Promidence Yuri Cargail!"

A thunderous roar of an applause erupted after Alexander's announcement. The emperor turned to Vega, and whispered in his ear.

"I should have killed you when the chance was given to me. Guards, take this man away under the charge of treason!"

Vega was shocked.

"What? TREASON?! You-"

The guards took him away before he could finish.
