OOC-Hello there. I have not done this kind of RP that much, so I thought I would do one. I hope everything checks out well.

IC- Martin Ducas was a well known offical in the government of the state of Transylvania, one of Roman Greece's states. Martin had one child, a daughter named Katherine from his first marriage, to a woman named Julia. She died some years ago and he never forgot the life they had. However, he decided to remarry, one reason was to have his daughter have a mother figure in her life again. So, one day while Martin was reading the Canterbury Tales (with Thomas Becket, I believe), he decided to contact his friend, Phillip. Martin had connections to the Foreign Ministry, via his friend Phillip. Phillip sent out a letter which read:

''To surrounding nations,
My friend, Martin Ducas is looking for a wife to marry. He is of 34 years of age and has one child, named Katherine. Here is some info on him:

Height: 6'4
Weight: 160
Hair color: Brown
Eye color: Blue
Hobbies ,etc: Reading, Writing, Jogging, Workouts, Athletics, and many other things. He also enjoys playing and helping his daughter, Katherine as well.
Religion: Lutheran Church (his father was Lutheran but his mother was either Byzantine Catholic, Greek Orthodox or a similar denomination.)

If any more info is requested, just ask me and I shall send it to you.

Phillip sent the letter and he waited for a reply, he was trying to help his friend out by doing all of this.

OOC-This RP is open to all nations by the way. Any nation can join in here.

We must ask a few questions prior to considering Martin Ducas as viable.
Is he looking for a 'trophy' wife, or genuine partner?
Is her marital, or former marital status an issue, including if she might have an issue from said prior marriage?
How old is Katherine?
Are there anythings that he is looking for special in a wife?

Phillip recieved the questions of Theao and replied:

''Martin is looking for a genuine partner, not a trophy wife.
If the partner has been married or not or if she has had children or not, it does not matter, the only things that do are like if they are committed to the marriage.
Katherine, Martin's daughter is of 11 (if there is a problem, I can change it) years of age. Martin cares for his daughter, as most fathers would.
Martin would like a nice, caring, respectful partner. He would also like his partner to be kind and caring to his daughter as well.
Martin also does not mind the religious faith and culture of the partner. If she is not religious or of a different religion (than his Lutheranism), he does not mind, he will love and care for her regardless of this.

Phillip read the info on Miss Sheil and passed it onto Martin. Martin was spending time with his daughter when Phillip came to him and gave him the info on Sara Sheil. Martin talked to Phillip and Phillip replied:

''Theao, Martin is interested in meeting Miss Sheil. He is interested in meeting a woman who is interested in things like Bike Riding, he also enjoys it as well. He also requests that she bring her son, Ryan with her so that Katherine can have someone to play and talk to while Martin and Sara talk and that. He also respects her Christian non-denominational leaning, he does not believe in the superiority of his religion or his Lutheran Church. I will send info to you on your request on when Sara can come and where she will come.'' Phillp sent this to the nation of Theao. Meanwhile, Martin talked to Katherine about having a new mother. Phillip spent time making preparations for Sara's possible visit.

OOC-As Theao did, other nations can post info on people interested in meeting Martin.

OOC-Bump (What are bumps for again?)

OOC: Bumps are to make sure your thread does not die out, thinking of joining.

Thanks for refreshing my memory on bumps and sure you can join. Theao is the only one who has so far. I am planning to wait for more people but if none come then I'll choose Theao's suitor but not because Theao was the only one to join.

Taralkea has a lady that might interest you. Tara, height, 5'4, eyes, green, hair, aubern, age, 28. Please notify if you need more info.

Phillip read Sara's letter and replied:

''To Sara, regards to Martin

A flight from your nation to ours can be arranged. Please come to the city of Zwinglistadt in Switzerland, Martin is currently staying there right now (he is planning to turn around his career). It is no problem for him or me to respect your religious beliefs, he is a Lutheran but he still respects all Christian denominations and all religions. I myself am still searching for that kind of thing. Martin would like it if your son could come, he could play with his daughter, Katherine. Please come to Zwinglistadt when you are ready. I will greet you and your son there.

OOC:Should I send Tara too?

OOC-I guess you could send Tara if you want to but I was hoping to do one at a time as I don't want to be with one suitor and have the other think that I am not doing anything with them or what not.

Sara looked up the flight information and booked a flight for her and Ryan, and sent the information to Phillip so he could do anything that needed doing on his end.

OOC:Makes sense, I'll wait.

Phillip told Martin of Sara and Ryan's visit and Martin, Katherine and Phillip spent time fixing things up for their arrival. In Zwinglistadt, the city was being fixed up, in preparation for their arrival.

Phillip sent them a letter:

''You may come when ready. Everything is set for your arrival. Thank you for coming to our nation as well.''

OOC-Thanks for understanding, Taralkea. After the time with Martin and Sara is done, I will try to get Tara to come and then Tarayshia's suitor can visit and then I guess I could decide.

Sara and Ryan boarded the plane, and after one stop for refueling, it arrived in Zwinglistadt.

With Ryan holding her hand, she stepped off the plane and looked around, as she supposed there was a welcomer of somesort.

Martin would be meeting Sara and Tara at the same times IRL, but different times in Nationstates time.

OOC-What is fluid time again? To refresh my memory.

IC-Phillip came to Sara and Ryan and said ''Greetings. Welcome to Zwinglistadt. I am Phillip Phocas. Please come with me as I take you through the city and to where Martin and Katherine live.'' Phillip led them to a limo and said ''Zwinglistadt is named after Huldrych Zwingli, I believe.''

Phillip stated. When the limo pulled up at Martin's residence, Phillip led them inside. Martin was in the living room, playing a video game with his daughter, when he saw the three. He and his daughter stood and Phillip and Martin greeted each other like friends do.

Phillip said ''Martin, this is Sara and Ryan, from Theao.'' Martin said ''Nice to meet you, Sara. It is a pleasure to meet you.'' Martin then turned to Ryan and said ''It is nice to meet you too, Ryan. I'm sure you and Katherine will get along well.'' Phillip went away, going to set up lunch for them (Phillip was a good cook, he liked cooking).

Katherine was a nice girl, around Ryan's age. As Sara and Martin were talking, Katherine came to Ryan and said ''Hello, my name is Katherine. You must be Ryan.''

''Sara, after lunch I'll show you around. We can't learn new things while on a empty stomach.'' Martin said to Sara.

OOC: Ooooooookay. Sounds good to me, lets ask Roman Greece.

OOC-I read your explanation of fluid time. Can you explain a little more of it?

Sara nodded as she and her son got in the limo and listened to Phillip's explaination of the city's name.

"It is a pleasure to meet you as well." Sara replied, while Ryan nodded shyly.

When Katherine came over and introduced herself, he blushed before replying "Yes, you're pretty."

"I'd like that, is Phillip a good cook?" She asked

ooc: You would be having Martin talk to both girls at the same time in real life, while in game time, his conversation with Tara would be taking place at a later date. Tara/Sara wouldn't interact in anyway.

OoC: Sounds good to me, how about you Roma?

OOC-I guess we can try it then but I'll need help knowing how to RP with fluid time being used as it still is weird to me.

IC-Katherine blushed herself a little when she heard what Ryan said. ''Ryan, do you want to play a video game with me? Before you came, my dad was playing but you can use his character. It is a fighting game by the way.''

''Phillip is a good cook. He enjoys cooking, I always tell him on how well he does.'' Martin said.

''Thanks, Martin!'' Phillip said, overhearing Martin's complement.

''Lunch will be ready in a couple of minutes!'' Phillip said from the kitchen.

''Sara, I'm sure you and Ryan will like it here. It is a nice city, Zwinglistadt.'' Martin said.

OOC: Okay, how do we start this fluid time stuf?

OOC-I concur, how do we start the fluid time thing?

"Sure, what system?" He asked as he was good at some fighting games, useless at others.

"Then let's hope he lives up to his reputation." She replied with a slightly teasing note in her voice. "I'm sure we will."

ooc: Essentially just have Tara arrive and go from there. While Sara's meeting is happening first in terms of Nationstates time(Ie: From the 1st-9th,) and Tara's happening from 10th-19th, they are both happening at the same time in the Real world.

OOC: Okay, should Roma send a letter to Taralkea?

''The fighting game is called Total War.'' Katherine said. ''My character is a Crusader, yours is a Karate fighter.'' Katherine said, introducing the characters they would be.

''I'm sure he will do so.'' Martin said. ''I heard that, Miss Sheil!'' Phillip said, overhearing Sara's comments. He was not angry but happy, he laughed a little.

''Lunch is ready!'' Phillip said. As the others were coming, Phillip set up the table and prepared to introduce what he cooked for them.

OOC-Taralkea, I can send you a letter. Also, Theao, if we are doing fluid time, could you assist me and Taralkea?

IC-''To Taralkea,
Tara of Taralkea is able to come to Roman Greece now. Please have her come to the city of Zwinglistadt, where Martin and Katherine live.''

Thank you, I shall leave imeadeatly.

Tara walked to the airport, gave the ticket to the flight conducter and got on the plane. She grabbed a magazine and waited to take off.

"Never heard of it." He confessed as they began playing.

When Phillip replied to her tease, she stuck her tounge out at him, even thought he couldn't see it. When he called the meal ready, she arrived and wondered what it was to be served.

Ryan arrived a few seconds later with Katherine.

ooc: When I'm around, I will.

OOC-Sorry for late reply, Theao. Also, thanks for going to help us, Theao.

IC-''That's ok, Ryan. I'm sure you'll get the hang of it.'' Katherine said before attacking with her Crusader.

''Today's lunch will be baklava, sachertorte, sandwiches and other things. I've made kids foods like ants on a log or peanut butter and celery and other things as well.'' Phillip said, helping everyone sit down.

''Thank you for the lunch.'' Katherine said. ''You are most welcome.'' Phillip replied.

''I'll go get the drinks, what will everyone want?'' Phillip asked.

"Could I get milk please?" Ryan asked, as he looked at the food with wierd names. "I'd like orange juice, if you have it?" Sara added as she tried to figure out what the foods were from the names.

''Milk for Ryan, Orange juice for Sara, grape soda for Katherine and for Martin, a glass of Mountain Dew.'' Phillip said, bringing them all their drinks.

''Let me explain the food.'' Philip said. ''Baklava (or baklawa) is a popular rich, sweet pastry found in many cuisines of the Middle East and the Balkans, made of chopped nuts layered with phyllo pastry, sweetened with sugar syrup or honey, Sachertorte is a chocolate-cake, invented by Franz Sacher in 1832 for Klemens Wenzel von Metternich in Vienna, Austria. It is one of the most famous Viennese culinary specialties.'' Phillip said. ''There are many foods here. These are just two.'' Phillip said.

''If you would like a food that you like, I can get it for you.'' Phillip said.

Phillp led in a grace and then he said ''Well, dig in!''

"I think for now I'll experiment." Sara replied as she took small amounts of many of the odd dishes.

Meanwhile Ryan was getting things that smelt good to try.

Phillip, Martin and Katherine also took some of the food. ''Of course, Sara, you may not have tried these foods before so sure, experiment with it.'' Phillip said.

''Nice meal, Phil.'' Katherine said. ''I concur, it is a well done meal.'' Martin said. ''Thank you all very much.'' Phillip said, drinking from his glass of chocolate milk. ''Sara, after lunch, I'll show you around.'' Martin said.

As she ate and enjoyed the various foods, she expressed her appreciation of Phillip's cooking and when Martin commented about showing her around, she nodded, "I'd enjoy that."

Um, 5 NS hours?

OOC-Tell me when ready, Taralkea.

IC-''Good, we'll go after lunch.'' Martin said. ''Katherine can show Ryan around too.'' he said. ''Thanks for liking my food, Sara.'' said Phillip.

"You're welcome." Sara replied, while Ryan looked at Katherine and blushed again.

After lunch, Phillip went to clean the dishes and Martin, Katherine, Ryan and Sara went for a tour of the house. Martin showed them his library, his room, Sara's guest room, Ryan's guest room, Katherine's room and other places. ''Sara, would you and Ryan like a tour of Zwinglistadt?'' Martin asked. ''I can show you and Ryan the entire city.'' He turned to Ryan and said ''Ryan, you can ask Katherine to show you around. Perhaps she could show you some places here or in the city or something.'' Katherine nodded in agreement.

"Would you like to play the game some more?" He asked Katherine as they finished the tour.

"I'd like to tour the city, though I think Ryan's more interested in video games." She commented

''Ok then. We can be many characters like Crusaders, Knights, Shaolin Monks, Janissaries, and others.'' Katherine said, going with Ryan to play video games.

''Ok then. Kids like Ryan and Katherine are into video games, I concur with that.'' Martin said. He took Sara to the city of Zwinglistadt, getting Phillip to watch the kids.

''This is Zwingli Square.'' Martin said. ''In the center of the square is a statue of Hudyrich Zwingli. There are many buildings here like the ''Library of Theology'' for example.'' he stated. Martin gave Sara a good tour of the entire city.

Sara nodded, and made sure to ask questions in all the right places.

Meanwhile, Ryan was getting steadily better at the game, but was still getting whooped by Katherine.

After the tour, Martin took Sara back to his home. ''This is your room as I may have shown you before.'' Martin said. Sara's room was a large and expensive one.

''Ryan, you are getting better at this.'' Katherine said. ''Let's play another game.'' Katherine said, showing him some of her games. ''What kind of game would you like to play?'' Katherine asked Ryan.

"Yes, you have." She replied with a smile, "One would think you were suggesting something." She teased

"What games do you have?" He asked

''I get what you mean.'' Martin grinned. Then he said ''Make yourself at home, I will go and see Phillip to see about dinner.''

''I have many games. Fighting, action, adventure, strategy and others. What kind of game do you want to play?'' Katherine asked Ryan.

"Alright." She replied, "I'll get changed for dinner."

"Would you like to play a racing game?" He asked

''I will tell you when dinner is ready.'' Martin said, leaving to give Sara privacy.

''Sure, let's play a racing game.'' ''Futuristic one, a special kind of racing game or just a normal racing game?'' Katherine said these things to Ryan.

"Sounds good." Sara replied through the door as she began getting changed.

"Whichever you prefere." Ryan replied as he burped, and blushed.

Katherine giggled a little when he burped. She got out first a racing game in which you can use cars, tanks, camels and others to race with. ''I'm going to win.'' Katherine said jokingly, hoping to have fun with Ryan.

Martin nodded and left Sara's room so she could change.

"We'll see." He replied as he selected his chacter and got ready to race.

Sometime later Sara had finished changing and exited her room to see if supper was ready.

''On your marks, get set, go!'' Katherine said as they began to race.

''Sara! Dinner will be ready in 20 minutes or something.'' Martin told her.

Ryan was doing well, but Katherine was beating him by a bit.

"Alright." She called back as she went to watch the kids.

As Katherine was playing with Ryan, she saw Sara and said ''Hello. Ryan and I are racing in our game here.''

Martin and Phillip could be heard cooking dinner, Martin knew Phillip since childhood.

''Dinner is ready!'' Martin and Phillip called as they were serving the food. ''Sara! Katherine! Ryan! Time for dinner!'' they called. They were serving lots of foods for dinner, they made a good sized dinner for all of them to eat.

"Can we come later?" Ryan called back as he moved into passing position to try and beat Katherine, while Sara had departed to the lavatory before dinner.

''Sure, Ryan! You and Katherine have fun!'' Phillip said. Martin fixed up the table with Phillip, waiting for Sara. Ryan and Katherine could come for dinner after playing.

''Take this!'' Katherine said as she used her race car to bump into Ryan's car, trying to get him off the track.

''Sara, are you done in there? Dinner is ready.'' Phillip said.

Phillip and Martin served dinner at the dining room, waiting for Sara to come and later on the kids.

Ryan managed to keep his car on the road and if she tried it again, he intended to hit the break so she'd go sailing into the curb herself.

"Yes I am." She replied as she dried her hands and exited the bathroom. "So what's for supper?"

(OOC: I'm just saying that I'm still into this rp, I'm just reading what's going on in it. It's good and interesting..I like seeing how it developes.)

Katherine tried to fool Ryan. She suddenly stopped her car. When Ryan went ahead, she went fiercely, ramming his car off the track.

''Hello, Sara. For dinner, we have stirfry, Donar kebab sandwiches and many other foods.'' Phillip said. Martin helped her sit down and said ''Ryan! Katherine! Would you like to eat in the living room?'' ''If Ryan wants to.'' Katherine said.

OOC-Thanks, Tarayshia. Your nation's suitor can come after Sara. However, I don't know about if Taralkea if going to be still in this RP.

OOC:Yah, I'm still here.

"Sounds delicious." Sara replied as she took in the foodstuffs.

Katherine had knocked him into the ditch when Martin called into the living room. "I'd like to eat here." He called, "If that's alright mom?"
"Yes dear." She replied

''I'm eating here too.'' Katherine said. Phillip then brought them their dinners in the Egyptian pose. ''I'm Egyptian!'' Phillip said jokingly. Katherine laughed somewhat and they took their dinner. ''I win the race!'' Katherine said, passing the finish line.

''Ryan, do you want to watch TV or a movie while we eat?'' Katherine asked him.

Meanwhile, Phillip, Martin and Sara were eating their dinner. ''Sara, what would you like to drink? I am going to try some Raki.'' Phillip said.

OOC-That's good, Taralkea. Theao, are we still using fluid time? Because I planned to do one suitor at a time at first but fluid time is ok.

"Sure, what do you have?" He asked

"Raki?" Sara asked, as she'd never heard of it before.

ooc: You don't need to use fluid time, I was just suggesting it as a possible.

OOC: I say fluid Time would be too confusing.

OOC-I see. Then I will have it like this, Sara will visit Martin first, then Tara and then Nadia from Tarayshia. After Sara's visit, she will stay in a hotel or something. When I choose a suitor, NO HARD FEELINGS OR ANYTHING towards the others.

IC-''How about the Mr. Bean show?'' Katherine suggested. ''Or the movie, Bean?'' she then added. ''I have many movies and my TV has many channels.'' Katherine said to Ryan.

''Raki is a Turkish anise-flavored liqueur that is similar to several kinds of alcoholic beverages available in the Mediterranean and parts of the Balkans. I don't drink really but I will just this once.'' Phillip said, giving her a glass of orange juice and Martin a glass of grape soda. ''Grape soda is one of my favourites.'' Martin said.

"Bean is a really funny movie." He replied as that was a movie he quite liked.

"So I see." She replied, "And I'll try a small glass, as I normally don't drink liqueur, or any sort of alcohol."

''In that case....'' Katherine began, starting the movie. ''Let's watch it! I like Mr. Bean too. He's funny.'' Katherine said as they watched and ate their dinner.

Phillip gave Sara a small glass and said ''I don't drink alcohol, etc normally either.''

Phillip, Sara and Martin ate their dinner also, along with talking and joking around.

"He's one of the funniest grown-ups I've seen." Ryan agreed as they watched.

"So what's for desert?" She asked when they'd finished the main meal.

Katherine nodded in agreement and said ''Truly a good comedian.'' While Ryan and Katherine watched, Martin brought them some ice cream sundaes.

''For us, desert is plentiful. For example, we will be having things like banana splits, pies, pastries and many other things. What would you like for dessert?'' Phillip asked, giving her a slice of layer cake.

"The cake is good." She replied

"Thank you." Ryan said as he accepted the sundae from Martin.

''Thank you for saying that.'' Phillip said. Martin returned and began to talk with the others.

''Thank you, dad.'' Katherine said, taking her sundae. As they ate, Katherine and Ryan laughed at the funny parts of the movie.

The kids enjoyed thier desserts, while the grown ups talked over desert and coffee.

After the movie ended, Katherine turned to Ryan and said ''Ryan, would you like to play on my computer? It's in my room.''

''Sara, would you like to watch a movie with me?'' Martin asked.

"Sounds like fun." Ryan replied

"What movie do you have in mind?" Sara asked

Katherine took Ryan to her room and showed him, her computer. ''This is my computer. It has many things on it. What do you want to see?'' Katherine asked.

''How about the movie Gandhi or The Cable Guy? Which kind of movie do you want to see?'' Martin asked.

"Do you have any music on it?" He asked

"I've never seen either of those movies, so lets try the cable guy." She replied

''Yes I do, what kind of music do you like?'' Katherine asked.

''The Cable Guy is with Jim Carrey.'' Martin said as he led Sara to the living room. Martin started the movie and they watched it together.

"No specifics, just good music." He replied

"What is Katherine like?" Sara asked as they watched the movie.

Katherine played some music, the music was folk music from different lands.

''My daughter, Katherine is a caring person. She is a curious girl, asking me questions about what I do and so on. Katherine is nice to other people, she sometimes helps Phillip with his cooking....'' Martin began to tell Sara about his daughter, Katherine.

"Nice music." Ryan commented as he looked around Katherine's room.

Sara listened attentively, especially if everything clicked, she'd be her daughter thought not biologically.

''Thanks, Ryan.'' Katherine said.

As they watched the movie, Martin asked ''Sara, what's Ryan like?'' He wanted to ask this because Sara asked about Katherine.

"Mischevious, bright, more trouble than he's worth. The typical ten year old boy." She replied with a grin as she remembered her son's antics.

"So what's school like here?" Ryan asked

''That's somewhat like Katherine. I'm sure that if everything checks out right, then Katherine and Ryan can be brother and sister.'' Martin said.

''School is fun in Zwinglistadt. The next field trip I am going on is to the Museum of History. We are learning on historical figures and other things...'' Katherine began to explain to Ryan.

"They seem to be getting on well." Sara replied

"Sounds like it'd be fun, or at least a day off school." Ryan commented

''I agree. They are playing with each other alot.'' Martin said.

''I guess you could say that.'' Katherine said. ''Ryan, what would you like to do?'' she asked.

OOC-I wonder if Taralkea and Tarayshia are still interested in this RP, not to say they aren't.

''Sure, I can. Follow me.'' Phillip said, taking them to the playground. Katherine went to the swings and said to Ryan ''Care to join me?''

"Most likely, they are kids after all." She replied

"Sounds fun." He replied as he took another swing and began swinging.

''Can you push us?'' Katherine called to Phillip. Phillip nodded and began to push them both, higher and higher.

''Kids like to play with each other, I agree with that.'' Martin stated. ''Sara, what would you like to do?'' Martin asked.

"Wheeee." Ryan called as Phillip pushed him.

"Perhaps a night on the town, so to speak?" She suggested

''This is fun! It's good we came out here!'' Katherine said happily.

''Sure, we can go to the cinema or opera if you want to. What night activity did you have in mind?'' Martin asked.

''Ryan, let's play tag.'' Katherine said. Katherine got up, tagged Ryan and then ran, urging him to come play.

''I guess we could, let me check if there is one.'' Martin said, researching the issue. ''I found one we can go to.'' Martin said. Martin took Sara to a nightclub and said ''Do you want to dance?''

Ryan stuck his tounge out at Katherine, then began chasing her trying to tag her.

"Of course, why else go to a nightclub?" Sara asked with a smile.

Katherine stuck her tongue at Ryan and then ran away, trying to get him not to tag her.

Martin said ''Let me show you some moves.'' Martin did several splits before beginning to spin on his head. ''I practice all this a lot you know.'' he said while spinning.

Phillip watched the kids, making sure everything was alright.

Ryan grinned as he continued to chase the fleeing girl.

"That looks painful." She commented as she copied his actions.

Katherine stopped and turned to Ryan and said ''You can't catch me, I'm the gingerbread woman!'' and she ran off but Ryan later got her. ''My turn!'' she said, running after him.

''I've practiced a lot, it doesn't hurt when you've done it a lot.'' Martin said. ''Sara, would you like a drink?'' he said, escorting her to the bartender.

"The what?" He asked before catching her, and then running away trying to avoid her.

What, have you been taking a lot of women to nightclubs to work your wicked way on them?" She teased as they went to the bar. "Could I get a Black Jack?" She asked of the bartender.

''The Gingerbread Woman!'' Katherine said, trying to catch him.

''Not really, Sara. And what wicked way do you speak of?'' Martin said before asking for a martini and a black jack. He gave Sara's drink to her and said ''Sara, why don't you tell me about yourself.''

"Never heard of her." He replied as he ducked behind Phillip.

Sara just smiled back at Martin as he asked about 'what wicked way'. "What would you like to know, and please don't say everything."

''It's the Gingerbread Man but as a woman.'' Katherine said, trying to get Ryan. ''Katherine, Ryan, it may be time to go home. It's getting dark but I'll let you guys stay up late, I'm sure Martin and Sara won't mind.'' Phillip said, getting up and helping the kids.

''Ok then. Sara, tell me the basics about you. What's Theao like?'' Martin asked, wanting to know here more.

"Do we have to?" Ryan said with a pout, even though he was getting somewhat tired.

"Alright, but please don't ask me to go into the politics or legal system." Sara replied, "Well Theao's a fairly large nation, land-locked and fairly mountainous and forested. A high level of political rights, with personal and religious freedoms being quite important. Fossile fuels have been all but eliminated. Is there anything more specific you wish to know?"

''Yes, Ryan, we have to. We don't want your mother or Katherine's father to get worried. Don't worry, you and Katherine can find something to do at home.'' Phillip said, taking Ryan and Katherine home. When they got home, Phillip told them ''You kids can watch some TV for now, I'll get you a snack.'' He went inside the kitchen and began preparing some food for the kids. When Phillip came back, he had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for them. ''Here you go, now you two have fun.'' Phillip said. Then he went to clean the kitchen up.

''Theao sounds interesting. Religious and personal freedoms are always valued. Also, by eliminating fossil fuels, is your nation using alternative energy sources?'' Martin said. ''Sara, what would you like to do? Should we go see what Phillip and the kids are doing?'' Martin asked. Martin was hoping that things with Sara were going well.

"Thanks." Ryan replied as he took his sandwich. "So Katherine, want to play another game?"

"Yes, we use hydro, solar, areo and nuclear fuel sources." Sara replied, "I'd like that, make sure Ryan's alright, and then perhaps we can watch a movie over coffee."

She was finding Martin charming and was hoping he enjoyed her company as much as she enjoyed his.

''Welcome.'' Phillip said. ''Sure, Ryan, let's play another game. How about a wrestling game?'' Katherine asked.

''Theao seems like a progressive nation. I would like to see how my little girl is doing and a movie and coffee sounds great.'' Martin said, escorting her home.

When they got home, Martin helped Sara make the coffee and a light snack.

After they'd made the coffee and snack and retired to the living room, she asked, "What movies do you have?"

Martin saw that Katherine and Ryan were in the living room, playing games. ''Let's watch the movie in one of my other rooms. Katherine and Ryan are playing games.'' He took her to another room with a large couch and other things and said ''I have many movies like Gandhi, Schindler's List, Stalin, and many others. Which kind of movie would you like to watch?''

Ryan got a Medieval Knight as his character while Katherine's was a Roman gladiator. ''We wrestle each other for now. Then we can be a team.'' Katherine said.

''I have a good one. Have you heard of Ong-Bak from Thailand?'' Martin asked.

"Then en-gard." He replied as the game started and he began attacking.

"No, I haven't, so shall we watch it?" She inquired

Katherine began attacking him back, saying things like ''Take that!''. ''Ryan, you are good at video games.'' Katherine said.

Martin nodded and started the movie. ''It may be subtitled as it was made in Thailand.'' Martin told Sara. ''Sara, you seem like a very nice person. I respect that.'' Martin said.

"So are you." He replied as she got a big hit on his character.

"That's alright, we'll just have to read the movie rather than listen to it." Sara commented, ""You're also charming, and quite respectable."

''Ryan, perhaps after, we can play a adventure game.'' Katherine said before slamming his character.

''Thanks for the compliments.'' Martin said. ''You are charming and respectful too. Now, let's watch the adventures of Ong-Bak. I like this movie somewhat, it is an ok one.'' Martin stated. ''We can read and listen. I am sure I have a translation of the movie.'' Martin told Sara.

"What game were you thinking of?" He asked as she got him just before he was about to get her, knocking his character out.

"Alright, thought it's getting close to Ryan's late bedtime and he should probably sent to bed shortly." She agreed as he turned the movie on.

''It's a game in which you and me team up to stop the bad guys.'' Katherine said.

Martin said ''I will send Phillip to send Ryan and Katherine to bed. It's her bedtime too.''

Phillip came to Ryan and Katherine and said ''Ryan, Katherine, it's time to go to bed now. Your parents want you to go to bed now for it is late.'' Phillip then would help them to bed.

Martin started the movie and drunk from his glass of coffee. The movie started and Sara and Martin began to watch it.

Meanwhile, after Phillip got the kids to bed, he would watch TV himself, a show on cooking was on and he liked to cook so he would see if any new recipies would be shown.

"Alright." Ryan said as he yawned. "Good night Katherine." He added as he went to say good night to his mom.

Sara was watching the movie when Ryan came in, said good night, got his kiss and went to bed, letting the grown-ups get back to watching the movie.

Katherine said ''Good Night, Ryan.'' After this, Katherine went to Martin, embraced him and said ''Good night, dad.'' He got her hug and so on and then went to bed like Ryan did. Phillip came in and said ''Martin, Sara would you like me to make you anything?'' Martin liked the movie he was watching. ''This film sure is filled with action.'' he said.

"I'm good." Sara replied, "Thanks for asking thought."

Phillip nodded and went to make himself a nice snack. ''Sara, how do you like the movie? Is it filled with action like you wanted?'' Martin inquired as he watched.

"Yes it is." She replied with a smile.

''That's good.'' Martin said, watching. When it ended, he asked ''Sara, what would you like to do now?''

"A chance to rest, as it's been a busy day." She replied, "And I'm sure you have a great deal planned for tomorrow."

''I have a great deal for tommorow.'' Martin said. He escorted Sara to her room and said ''Good night, Sara. May the Heavens protect you.'' Then he went to his room and went to sleep. Phillip stayed up most of the night, working and doing other things.

"Good night yourself." Sara replied, before giving Martin a quick peck on the cheek. "Now don't stay up to late." She added as she shut the door and went to sleep shortly thereafter.

Martin felt weird but ok when Sara gave him a peck on the cheek. ''I hope that everything clicks for us.'' Martin thought before he slept. Phillip meanwhile was working on his notes while listening to recordings of different Christian liturgies (he was doing some notes on things like the Catholic Mass, Orthodox Divine Liturgy, Armenian Badarak and so on).

Sara slept, and incidentally had a bit of a 'naughty' type dream, that happened to feature Martin as the male lead.

Meanwhile Ryan was sleeping quite peacefully.

OOC-I thank you for understanding, your suitor is always welcome to come to the wedding. Theao, is it ok if Martin would like to marry Sara? Martin would like to marry Sara as he finds her respectable, caring and more things.

Martin dreamed of Sara as well, but in a dream wedding.

Katherine dreamed of Sara being her new mother and Ryan being her new brother.

Sara slept for a good nine hours while typical of children, Ryan was up after only eight.

IC- Katherine and Martin both got up, Sara and Ryan could hear Martin asking Phillip about why he was up so late. Martin went to Sara and snuck in with a trumpet. He blew it and said ''Wake up soldier!'' Martin was just joking around with Sara.

Katherine snuck into Ryan's room and threw a pillow at him. ''Pillow fight!'' Katherine said as she threw pillows at him.

"Stop that." Sara protested as she turned, grabbed a pillow off the couch and lobbed it at Martin's head.

Katherine and Ryan had a good fight till Phillip called ''Katherine, Phillip, Sara, Martin! Time for breakfast!''

"I know." She said as she pelted one last pillow off his head.

"Truce?" Ryan asked when Phillip called for breakfast.

''That's good, Sara now let's go for breakfast.'' Martin said, helping her up.

''Truce.'' Katherine said, shaking his hand.

Phillp set up the table and said ''We have many foods like eggs, bacon and so on. I try to mix Western and International together.''

"Thank you." She replied as he helped her up.

"Lets go for breakfast." Ryan said as he headed down to the kitchen.

''Welcome, Sara.'' Martin said, helping her sit down at the table.

Katherine nodded and they both went downstairs.

Phillip said ''You may choose what ever food you wish. Also, what would you like for drinks?''

Sara took some scrambled eggs, bacon and toast, which she turned into a sandwich, "May I get some tea, raspberry if you have it, with honey?"

Ryan showed up and poured a bowl of cereal. "Could I get a glass of milk?"

Phillip brought Sara some raspberry tea and honey. ''Here you go, Sara.''

Phillip gave everyone a drink and Ryan a glass of milk.

''Sara, did you have a good sleep?'' Martin asked.

Ryan and Sara both replied at the same time, "Thank you."

"Yes I did, you?" She asked

''You are most welcome.'' Phillip said.

''I had a good sleep too.'' Martin said.

Katherine finished breakfast and said ''Ryan, do you want to do something?''

Martin looked at Sara and said ''What would you like to do today?''

"You said you had something planned." Sara commented, "So what is it?"

"What would you normally do today?" Ryan asked

''Sara, first, how would you like to go to Medieval Times?'' Martin asked.

''Ryan, I don't know what to do today. Perhaps you would like to watch TV with me?'' Katherine said.

"What do you mean, are you refering to a RenFair?" She asked

"That sounds like it'd be nice." Ryan agreed

''I guess you could say that. It is where we watch jousting and swordfighting. I can get them to choose us to fight if you want.'' Martin said.

''Let's go then.'' Katherine said happily. ''What kind of shows do you like?'' she asked.

"Why would we want to fight?" She asked

"Anime, cartoons, that kind of stuff." Ryan replied

''We fight for fun, not for real.'' Martin said. ''We fight as Knights, etc.'' he said.

''Here's a good show.'' Katherine said. The show was known as Stickin Around (it is a real life show that is not really on anymore). ''After, Captain Star is on next.'' Katherine said.

"Then maybe." She replied, "But the festival in general sounds entertaining."

"Seen the first one before, but what's Captain Star about?" Ryan asked

''We will go when you are ready.'' Martin said.

''Captain Star is about a captain waiting for his orders. It's complex.'' Katherine said, watching TV with Ryan.

"Let me get ready and we'll go." Sara replied

''I'll wait here for you.'' Martin said to Sara.

''Sure, when it comes on, I'll explain it.'' said Katherine.

Sara went off to change, and returned shortly after in a suitable outfit.

Meanwhile Ryan watched the show, laughing when appropriate.

Martin took her to the festival and first, they watched some jousting.

After the show, Katherine said ''What would you like to do, Ryan?''

"Would you introduce me to some of your friends?" He asked

"Were you suggesting we take part in that?" Sara asked, pointing at the joust.

Seeing Martin intact, Sara went down to participate as she'd agreed to do.

''Basic info.'' they said to Ryan.

Martin and Sara would joust...but after a gladiator style medieval battle. ''Sara, the object of this is to beat your opponent.'' he said, getting ready to attack.

"What are the illegals?" She asked, wondering what tactics would be illegal.

"Well, my name is Ryan. I'm ten. I'm from Theao." He commented

''Low blows for example are illegal.'' Martin said before attacking with his sword.

''From Theao? That's interesting. You are Katherine's friend?'' they asked Ryan.

"And possibly her step-brother." Ryan added

Sara stepped back, utilizing her blade to deflect Martin's blade downward in a soft block, rather than what would be considered a hard block by her Tai-chi sensai.

''How is that?'' they asked.

Martin learned some moves too. He twisted his sword and slashed Sara with it. ''Sara, I know you are perhaps going to be or are my fiance (Martin hopes it's the latter) but I will win!'' he said, trying to attack.

"My mom might marry her dad." Ryan explained

"Getting ahead of yourself aren't you." She replied pointing out the fact that he had yet to propose, one of the requirements for fiancee-hood, "Though I doubt you will win, possible a tie, but unlikely a win." As he slashed again, she blocked and stepped within his arc and kissed him on the nose before stepping back and striking at his hip joint.

''That's great!'' her friends said excited.

''I'll propose after this or something.'' Martin thought. Martin stumbled before jumping over Sara and hitting her with a mace.

Martin attacked Sara with his sword but acted funny too. For example, he had his sword like a baseball bat and said ''Goodbye, Jim'', then he swung it at her.

"What do you mean, like how?" Ryan asked

"Who's Jim?" She asked as she ducked and poked at Martin's stomach.

''What's it like to live there, I think is what they mean.'' Katherine whispered to Ryan.

''It's a line I got from somewhere.'' Martin said, trying to block Sara.

Martin managed to deflect her saber before getting poked in the stomach, "Care to call it a draw?" She asked

"It's fun." He replied

Martin agreed and went with Sara. They got changed for jousting. As they went at each other, Martin said ''Tell me how your trip is!'' and charged at her.

''That's good.'' they said to Ryan. Later on, they left and Katherine said ''Ryan, want to see my school?''

Martin's lance smashed into her shield, unhorsing her. With a clatter, she crashed to the ground and laid unmoving.

"Sure." Ryan replied

Martin ran to Sara and said ''Sara, are you alright? Say something or do something if you can hear me.''

Katherine brought her to St. John Chrysostom Private School. ''This is my school.'' she said, showing him around. They went to her class first. ''This is my report on Francis of Assisi.'' she said, showing him one of her reports.

Sara just groaned.

"On who?" He asked

IC- ''Sara, please, if you are conscious, show me a sign!'' Martin said. Then he prayed and said ''Sara, are you ok? Please, be alright!'' The crowds came and offered to help.

''Francis of Assisi was a man known for his founding of the Franciscans, his love for animals, and other things.'' Katherine said.

"Did someone get the number of that truck." She said with a weak smile.

"Never heard of him." Ryan replied

Martin embraced Sara and laughed a little. He helped her up and escorted her out.

''That's ok.'' she said, leading Ryan to a picture of John Calvin. ''This is John Calvin, I did a report on him. He created Calvinism.'' Katherine said.

When he embraced her, she winced. She'd have a rather large bruise resulting from the day's activities.

"Never heard of him either." Ryan replied

Martin took her home and laid her on her bed. ''What did the doctors say?'' Martin asked, helping her.

''That's ok. I never heard of them at first.'' Katherine said, passing past a picture of her. ''Ryan, this is my class at a monastery and other field trips. Here's me with a monk on this picture.'' Katherine said.

"Just a large bruise." She replied

"Looks interesting." He replied

''Thank God the Father its nothing worse.'' Martin said, giving her a kiss on the head. ''Do you want anything?''

''Thanks, Ryan. What else do you want to see?'' Katherine asked.

"Some rest." She replied with a slightly exaggerated sigh of weariness.

"What would you like to show me?" Ryan asked

Martin nodded and said ''Call me when you have had enough rest.'', then he left. But then he said ''I'll stay here with you instead.''

Katherine took Ryan to her classroom. ''This is my homeroom. Here is my desk.'' Katherine said. ''Ryan, do you want to pretend to be the teacher?'' Katherine said.

"As you wish." Sara replied, pleased that he'd decided to remain.

"What would I do?" Ryan asked as he looked around the classroom.

Martin said ''Sara, I think that if everything clicks, you'll find it nice here.''

''You are the teacher, I'm the student.'' Katherine said before she began to say in a teacher style voice ''Here's an example. Ryan, please turn to Page 156 in your Ottoman History book.''

"As do I." She replied

"But I haven't got an Ottoman history book." Ryan replied with an impish smile.

''I want to choose her. I'll propose soon.'' Martin thought. ''Sara, what would you like me to get you?''

''It's an example. Now, let's begin.'' Katherine said.

"Something to drink would be nice." She replied

"Katherine, please draw a picture of your family." He suggested, not really knowing what she was looking for.

''What would you like to drink?'' Martin said.

Katherine drew a picture of her family, but also included Ryan and Sara. ''Here, Mr. Ryan.'' Katherine said, giving him the picture.

"Surprise me." She replied

"But you left out the names." He commented as he looked at the picture, smiled and handed it back.

Martin went and then brought back some eggnog. ''Is this a good suprise?'' he smiled.

''I thought I put them on.'' Katherine said. Then she showed him a picture. ''This is my field trip to a Islamic mosque. It was because we learned about Islam for some time.'' Katherine said.

She smiled back as she took the drink, "Yes it is."

"Have you learnt about all major religions?" Ryan asked as she seemed to have detailed theological knowladge.

''I think I have. I'm learning on the different denominations of Christianity now, currently I'm doing the Anglican Communion.'' Katherine said.

Martin had his own glass and sat with her. ''How are you today? Does it still hurt?''

"I told you, I have a bruise." She replied

"Why?" Ryan inquired

''Just making sure.'' Martin said.

''The teachers say we have to learn about every culture and religion.'' Katherine said.

"Alright." She replied as she took a drink of the nog.

"So what else do you learn?" Ryan asked

Martin drank and said ''Want to watch a movie?''

''I learn many things.'' Katherine said, showing him things like Math, Social, Science and other things. ''Ryan, do you want to go somewhere else? I think I've showed you enough. Besides, you may come to school with me as a student!''

"Sure, what did you have in mind?" She asked

"Probably not with you, as a grade younger." He replied, "And where were you thinking of going?"

''How about the movie, Schindler's List?'' Martin asked.

''At least you can come to my school. Ryan, do you want to go to the store and buy some soda?'' Katherine said.

"Never seen it before so sure." Sara replied

"Sounds good, I am getting thirsty somewhat. What kind do you like?" Ryan asked

''It is about the Holocaust, etc.'' Martin said.

Katherine and Martin bought some soda, Katherine explained the kinds she liked. They sat on the store steps and talked while enjoying soda.

"Ah." Sara replied as she took another sip of the eggnog.

As they talked, Ryan decided to be somewhat mischivious and asked, "Do you have a boyfriend?"

''Want to watch it?'' Martin asked.

''No, I don't have one.'' Katherine said nicely. ''Do you have a girlfriend?'' Katherine said, trying to have fun with Ryan.

"Sure." Sara replied

"No." He replied as he blushed.

As they watched, Martin said ''I've read on the Holocaust. Auschwitz and so on.''

''That's ok, Ryan.'' Katherine said. ''Want a gumball?'' she asked before eating a jawbreaker.

"So have I." She replied, "Thought more on the people of, rather events of."

"Doesn't that hurt?" He asked as she ate the jawbreaker, "And yes thank you."

''The Holocaust is one thing people won't forget easily.'' Martin said.

Katherine gave Ryan a gumball and said ''It does not hurt for me.'' Then she gave him another soda and they explored the city. When they went into one store, Phillip noticed them and said ''Katherine, Ryan, I did not expect to see you two here. I am buying some things for later on tonight.''

"Especially not those who were involved." She commented

"You're silly." He commented with a grin. "What are you buying Mr. Phillip?" He asked when he noticed Phillip.

''I agree.'' he said as they watched.

''Am I silly?'' Katherine asked. ''Or Phillip?'' ''A lot of things I am buying, things like games and that for you two.'' Phillip said.

"You." Ryan replied, "And thank you Mr. Phillip."

As they watched, Sara sneezed and then winced as she stressed the bruised muscles.

''You are sillier.'' Katherine said with a smile. ''You are welcome, Ryan. Here, I will take you two home.'' Phillip said, showing them the new games and other things he bought for them.

''When she gets better, I'll propose.'' Martin thought as he helped her get better. When Katherine, Phillip and Ryan came home, they all went to see Sara and Martin. ''Sara, what happened?'' Phillip asked.

"Thank you." Ryan replied as he was getting slightly tired of walking. "Do you see a game you want to play?" He asked Katherine.

"Yon fool knocked me off a horse with a lance." She replied with a faint smile, as she gestured at Martin.

''Welcome.'' Phillip said, driving them home in a Ferrari or another well known car. ''I found a good game. You and me team up and fight evil.'' Katherine said, taking Ryan to play it.

''Martin, you do take things seriously.'' Phillip laughed a little. Then Phillip gave Sara and Martin some food and drink he bought for them.

''I see you are watching a film on the Holocaust. I've been studing the Genocide of the Armenians.'' Phillip said.

Ryan joined her as the game sounded quite interesting.

"Thank you Phillip." Sara replied, "Thought I've never heard of an Armenian Genocide."
