The wind calls. (Intro, Fantasy/Future Tech. Open)
The world was beautiful. The skies were clear, and the lands seemed untamed. A single large city sat in the middle of a vast plain, and it seemed to be shrinking.
That was the veiw from the Lady Ri-an, the very first ship of its kind, at least from this world. It rocketed to the upper atmosphere, aided, oddly enough, by the wind itself, pulled by the vast reaches of space. It was made of steel, a common enough metal, yet was covered by rather odd crystals. A single man piloted the ship. He appeared to be human, at least he was. An odd mechanical device replaced his right eye, and a large metal sleeve connected his left hand to his left shoulder. He was garbed entirely in robes, covered in a white Lab coat.
"Ha ha, its a success." he said to no one in particular. Of course no one else was on board, either.
The ship came to rest in space. The man went to the window, and looked out.
"So pretty, so big. Space, a daunting challenge indeed. The lightless moon of Remora, black, what a contrast against Ri-an, white with light from the Father Star. The Lord shines brightly today. The Lady seems dressed for the occasion."
He turned back to the controls. It was time to announce their presence to the rest of Creation.
________________________________________________________________
Greetings to all in Creation. I am Schotty, Sorcerer of Science of the once hidden world of Ri-an. As we venture out into space, we wish to take this time to get to know our neighbors. To that end, we, the Ruling Council of the Ri-an Theocracy, welcome one and all to come to our humble little world, and spend a few days with us. We ask that you only bring one ship though. We promise your safety.
________________________________________________________________
Schotty kneeled to the floor, as the message left.
"Father star, Mother world, Our Lord Sun, and our Lady Ri-an, Aid us in our endeavors of knowledge, spread our message, and aid our visitors journey." the man prayed to the sun and the world he came from.
Without further notice, the message vanished. All space traveling nations would be able to hear it, as well as all those blessed with the power of Magick, in all its forms. With the message came the coordinates, though Ri-an was not in the Milky Way, it was actually close to the center of Andromeda.
________________________________________________________________
The Dark moon of Remora
"So those fools venture to contact others. So ends my entrapment here. Now, finally, I can once again bring growth, cause change. I am Darkness, I am light. Fear the darkness little children, I lurk in the shadows." a strange being said. He wore a business suit, white in color, with the dress shirt being Black. His hat, was white, but the Feather in the band was black, as were his shoes. In his hand rested a single Black Lotus. He took in its sent, and disappeared.
OOC: So here it is. I take a complicated task on. I am both magick, and FT. But not for very long. I plan on combining Magick and science to create something new. It is as complicated though, as merging Law and Chaos.
Thus, All FT nations could intercept my message, for it was them, the message was intended. However, a Magick using nation could also intercept it, and come visit me.
I realise not many RP with a Magick nation, simply because they veiw it as Unfair. However both techs are weak at best, because I have to follow both to get what I truely want. Any Ft nation of average strength could challenge me, though I request, that for now at least, no one attempts to fight me.
All that unpleasantness aside, just come on over, and have a good time. I am neither Evil, or good. I can do one or the other, as I have the resources for both.

OOC: Time to bring one of my older ships out of RP Limbo.
IC: Intergalactic Void - I.S.S. John Sheridan - Main Bridge
"Captain, we are picking up a transmission."
"Contents?"
"Apparently its a nation that has recently developed space travel capabilities. It appears to be an invite, sir."
"Do you have the origin of the message?"
"The co-ordinates were contained in the message. They put the source as near the core of the Andromeda Galaxy."
"Hmm, haven't been there yet."
"No, sir. As far as I know, no Imperial charts exist of the Andromeda Galaxy."
"Well, its time we made some."
"Understood. Plotting course."
Exterior
The form of the Sheridan shimmered and dissapeared as she Phased from Real Space to Hyperspace en route to the designated co-ordinates.
OOC: Note, I am mainly FT, but I am evolving some of my characters to work a little Magi-tech into my nation as well.
OOC: Well, I could show you a few unique spells I thought up. Say, aren't you at the White Tower as well???
IC: Schotty Paced nervously. Who would respond, what would they be like?
Would Laeviathane let them pass?
These thoughts and others ran through his mind.
Laeviathane was the Great Guardian Wurm of Ri-an, inhabiting a smaller moon that orbitited Remora
A Space Mambo cautiously approached the ship, than darted away.
The Sun flared for a moment. Someone approached.
Schotty stood up. Vistors approached.

OOC: Yes. Waiting for it to pick up again (its been a slow RP season lately).
Hyperspace - I.S.S. John Sheridan - Main Bridge
"Helm, how long until we arrive at the designated co-ordinates?"
"From our current position, I estimate it to be around sometime noon tomorrow."
"Ahh. I really wish those engineers and scientists back on Altera would hurry up and work out a new F.T.L. drive that goes faster."
"Agreed. Hyperspace is great for use inside a single galaxy, but not so good for use when more than one galaxy is involved."
As per Schotty's prayer, Mana curled around the John Sheridan, catapulting it forward, hurling it accross the void between Galaxies. It left them three hours, in Hyperspace, away from the co-ordinates, and none the worse for the wear. Fish swam in space all around them, and a very large very powerful, and old Dragon flew along side. The fish of course, were Space mambos, a mutated breed of fish that could survive of the natural radiation of space. The Dragon, was the Great Guardian Wurm, Laeviathane. Laeviathane kept pace easily.
OOC: Laeviathane is 25% of my Military, and my ONLY space defence, for now. Consider him, an escort.
(OOC: I'm primarily Ft and PT but i'm always willing to try somthing new)
The very technology which held together the great Hulk that was Gritsnak, began to quiver, it anticipated somthing which it had never anticipated before, an experience quite similar to it's brethren which found itself in every nut, rivet and sheet in the Hulk.
Only one person on-board felt this quiver as the ship did, Captain Grotz felt his entire body be consumed by fear and curiosity at this new voice inside of his partially robotic brain, it was calling him but he was not sure whether to go, as if a long lost family member had tracked him down.
Rather quickly Grotz was pulled back into a partial reality as the Ship itself suddenly made the jump into Orkyspace, that great expanse which took them across the galaxy, the voice was louder here, as if amplified by the pure energies within the majickal space, he could here the message clearly now, it was an invite, a task which the voice considered so important that the Hulk immediatly layed in a course and jetted off to the given co-ordinates.

The Energies reacted much the same way again. The ship suddenly found itself exactly three hours away, at their current speed, away from the specified location.

OOC: Cool trick. Though, three hours away in Hyperspace could be around a couple dozen light-years in Real Space (as I currently use the Babylon 5 style of F.T.L., for now).
IC: Hyperspace - I.S.S. John Sheridan - Main Bridge
"Sir! We just had an unexplainable surge of speed! E.T.A. is now three hours from our present position in Hyperspace!"
"What! How can that...."
"Sir, you're not going to believe this."
"What?"
"Putting it on the main screen now."
The main view screen came to life and displayed the organisms around them.
"Whoa."
"Commander, you're in charge here," said Captain Sinclair as he stood up from his chair."
"And where will you be, sir?"
"I'll be on the Obeservation Bridge. I want to see these things with my own eyes."
"Aye, sir."
Sinclair strode from the Main Bridge en route to the ship's Observation Bridge. Unlike the Main Bridge, which was buried deep inside the hull of the ship, the Observation Bridge was situated in an extension in front of the central dorsal engine pylon.
OOC: Here is a pic of the ship: http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y160/DragoonKVess/Schematics/Sheridan.gif
The Observation Bridge is where those windows are on the dorsal tower structure.
As the vast energies needed to take the ship across the galaxy hit the Toopish Hulk it surged in a great flash of bright light which filled Orkyspace with a fantastic blur of real and hyper space, the very essence of Toopish technology, the thing with which no Toopish technology could exist, melded with this power, suddenly things seemed better than they had in the Milky Way.
The Ship was now more a streamlined vessel than a random assortment of welded on junk and bitz, Orky Slugg Kannons became hidden underneath sleak elegance, the Toop themselves also felt the difference, they were weaker but far more intelligent, almost human.
Grotz felt it most of all, he could hear his bionic Brain think for him, almost like a computer had replaced his brain, "Bridge to the rest of the ship!" He spoke in a manner most unbeffiting of an Orcy Captain "We are going on a voyage, where we will end up is entirely down to the Ship who feels it nessacary to go to this place, in the mean-time you will continue to work as normal!" Captain Grotz removed his finger from the PA system which had previously refused to work on decks 12-14, the Ship continued on it's way through Hyperspace to it's destination.

OOC: I figure three hours is a decent time frame. All people will see the Space mambos, my national animal, but you get the honor of Laeviathane because you responded first. The ship looks pretty nice. I cannot draw, but Laeviathane closely represents an Eastren style dragon, with westren/europian influences. He is dark grey, and has a nimbus of Blue energy around him.
IC: the mambos flitted away in fear of the ship, but were still veiwable. Laeviathane slowed down, sensing the captain, and looked at him directly, thus bringing him eye to eye.
A second later, he veered away from the ship. A reptillian voice could be heard in the observation deck.
"As the Guardian of Ri-an, I welcome you to our world. My the Lord's light shine upon you in peace." Laeviathane said.
Laeviathane disappeared from sight.
Ri-an loomed ahead. It looked Greenish blue. A black orb hung in front of it. A moon, lightless, and almost unseeable. A small ship shaped like an oversized arrow hung in space. Its crystaline surface glinted brilliantly in the sun.

"Captain," came the Commander's voice over the Captain's Palm Link after Laeviathane had vanished, "We are in orbit of a planet. Somehow we are back in Real Space without having to use any power to cross the dimensional barrier."
Sinclair tapped his Palm Link and said, "Understood, Commander. Like you said, no SeaQuestian craft has ever been to this galaxy before. We have to expect the unexpected."

The people of D'Hara had gone about their lives every day as they normally did. Hawkers shouted out their latest wares and charms among throngs of people. D'Haran soldiers walked the ramparts on their daily patrols. Lord Rahl was sitting on the throne in the People's Palace attending to the daily legislation and complaints from lords. Just an ordinary day for Richard ever since he ascended the throne.
Richard was attuned to the magic of his home and anything that came in range of the Abh Empire. The construction of the People's Palace allowed his power to be exponentially strengthened. The pentagram shape was virtually an extension of Lord Rahl's hand. With but a thought a single hut on the other end of the planet could be destroyed. Richard was not that type of ruler though. His father was, but not him.
With a wave of his hand, Richard dismissed everyone except for his Mord-Sith guard. "Cara, call my wife and son. It seems we have business that calls our attention in the universe."
She thumped her fist to her heart and bowed. "Yes Lord Rahl. Right away."
Richard bent down to the side of his stone throne and picked up the Sword of Truth. He strapped the baldrice over his shoulder and contacted General Mieffert of the First Phial to ready a destroyer. They were leaving for a while.
Within the hour, a Dissith Cruiser was speeding towards the origin of the magic transmission.
The planet seemed so pristine to the Greenskinned Aliens who had seen only their twisted wasteland which filled them previously with pride but now with utter shame, Grotz picked up the communications device on the desk of the Comms expert, "This is the Hu-" He was about to say Hulk, this word had summed up the ships of past but now under this lighter guise he stopped and rephrased his introduction "This is Exploration Vessel -" Another pause, Gritsnak had long been celebrated as a champion and hero, but now his name and history seemed so terrifying, the Robotic Brain quickly thought up a new name "-Splibb, I am Captain-" He stopped again, his name also seemed unsavoury, as if he had been called all his life he recognised the voices new name "-Spoot, I am Captain Spoot, of the Exploration Vessel Splibb, we mean no harm and came here under a psychic invitation."
Elsewhere onboard, Orcs had began to filter into the medical lab, "Tha Dokta" as he had previously been called was now "The Apothecarion" and he was busy attempting to figure out how the Orcs onboard could somehow be mutating, backwards, it was well known that the Orc was born from the Halfling, so how could it be that now he was seeing Spoot Halfings across his deck.

The crew member at the controls nodded as she did her work. The group dissapeared in pillars of light destined for the surface.

As they were now close to the planet, its high density Mana feild began interfering with the ships technology, unless the ship had ways of countering extreme magick feilds. The ship that looked like an arrow got closer.
Schotty forced himself to calm down, and opened a hailing frequency, audio only. His voice sounded partially synthisised.
"Welcome. I imagine you may be having some minor technical problems. If you know how to teleport, whether through science or magick, I advise you try that. Otherwise, you may find yourself stranded, temporarily. come over to my ship. I'll help you down.It may seem a pain, but trust me, its better this way. The planet hates unexpected teleports." Schotty said over the channel, provided of course, it was picked up.
OOC: the Mana feild of Ri-an, makes technology act diffrently then its supposed to. Its why it took me 5,000 to get to space. The interference from where your at, would be minor at best. Enough to make getting any closer a bad idea.

"Chief, take the crystal down to engineering and put it near the Reactor."
"Aye, sir."
The Chief Engineer picked up the crystal from the step it had materialized on.
"Damn. I feel great. Medical should look into this crystal thing."
The Commander rolled his eyes. The Captain had told them to 'expect the unexpected', but obviously not everyone was taking it to heart.
"Just get it down to engineering."
"Aye, sir."
Planet's Surface
Alir'ang didn't respond. He was confident in his ability to take on any comer. Some of the crew said he was a little to confident.
After they reached the gates, Sinclair watched the animated tree lumber away. He turned and bowed in greeting to the woman who had welcomed them. As did the rest of his party.
"A Healer," he said, "My Chief Medical Officer," he gestures towards the female Alteran who had told Alir'ang to be quiet, "will probably enjoy talking 'business' with you."
OOC: The Alterans would be doing fine. Alir'ang might get a little too big for his britches (as the saying goes), and the Furlings would, well, I haven't decided on how the Furlings would react (I'll make a post with info regarding it later when I do decide).

IC:
Richard's shuttle disembarked from the cruiser and made its way to the Arrow ship. A major rule that Richard had been instilling in all his new apprentices and something he was making the Sisters of the Light understand was that magic shouldn't be used a public display unless absolutly necessary. The number of wizards back home had been surprisingly growing steadily and thus it became an important rule.
A ride down to the planet in another's ship was acceptable at this point in time. Afterall, they weren't completely helpless.

"Understood," Sinclair responded as the C.M.O. glared at the back of his head, "forgive my ignorance of your organizational structure."
Miho Karasuma (http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y160/DragoonKVess/Character%20Pics/miho.jpg) sighed and continued to the nature of the energy around the SeaQuestian group. She was checking to see if it was positive or negative in nature.
The group fell in behind Lari and followed along as they took in the sights.
OOC: The Seed (the name I have for my Alteran magick users/evolved power users) currently on the planet is Miho. She has the gift of scrying, meaning that she can pick up the latent psychic "impressions" from things she touches. Though this gift is limited to inanimate objects, hers is an invaluable gift for her line of work. Frequently, she can obtain clues that cannot be found any other way.

Miho could pick up neither positive or negitive influences on the planet, although she could feel that the planet itself was a living, sentient being.

"Both. Once, Lady Ri-an saw fit to cover the world in water, to banish the Shadowlord. During the time of 1000 years, A great Coral palace had grown, and in it, the Shadow hid. After the water recided, and after banishing the Shadow to Remora, the inside was hollowed out, and reasembled. Each Tile in there is exactly one square millimeter in size, and rather difficult to replace." Lari said.

Sinclair grimiced when he heard about the tiles. The current material used to make SeaQuestian naval boots wasn't exactly tile-friendly. This was one of the reasons SeaQuestian starships had metal grills for flooring.
Miho stifled a chuckle as she noticed the expression on the Captain's face.
Sinclair said, "Slight problem here. The current material used to make the boots that go with naval uniforms aren't that tile friendly."

The Abh shuttle silently glided into the docking bay that was indicated to them.
"That's alright. I am sure that the standered required footware for entering the Sacred Temple of The Grand Coral palace will fit you." said a man off to their left.
He was dressed in robes of pure energy. Time flowed around him like a river.
Next to hime was a woman in Black robes adorned with stars. Space twisted and convulsed around her like a snake.
"He is The Time Sorcerer, and I am the space sorcereress. It is a pleasure to meet you. We sit upon the Ruling Council. You are dismissed Healer. You may leave immediatly." The woman said.
The healer bowed, and left.
"Perhaps Schotty is sleeping up there. He was to direct you to the city square. no matter, you are not late, you are not early. You simply are, for there never was a set time. No matter. Let us retire to the The Temple Palace. Before we enter, you will be outfitted with the proper footwear." The Time Sorceerer said. He turned to the Palace.

All four members of the shuttle quietly stepped out to find themselves down on the planet surface. Richard looked around. "Well that wasn't unlike Slyph."
Kahlan nodded. "Yes but that didn't give me the creeps."
Cara wasn't so sure. She was beginning to wonder why she even bothered to volunteer for this job. She hated magic with passion.
Abh:
"Pardon, but what is Slyph?" asked a Sorcerer in the Square. Wind blew around him like a tempest, and lightning flickered in his hair, all was calm.
Without waiting for an answer, he introduced himself.
"I am the sorcerer of wind and lightning." the wind sorcerer said.

Richard nodded at the man. "I am Lord Rahl. Slyph is an ancient teleportation system created by many war wizards long ago."
The gentle breeze managed to lift his golden cape off the ground. He checked his sword to make sure it was secure in its sheath. He noticed Cara was hugging herself in her sking tight brown leather uniform. Her agiel hung loosely at her wrist on a golden chain.
Kahlan hunkered close to Richard's bare arms while she kept a close arm on Cypher.

Miho, technically not part of the ship's actual crew and out-ranking Sinclair, merely kept her eyes, ears, and other senses open.
The Furlings, as a result of the Mana rich enviroment of the planet, were a bit jumpy and started at the appearance of the two beings.
Alir'ang seemed to ooze confidence from every pore as a result of the environment on him.

"We transported down from Lunar orbit. The moon may have been blocking this Schotty's line of sight of our ship until afterwards," said Sinclair.
Inside the Coral Palace
Miho laughed, "Allergic to fish? You've obviously never met a Draconian before. Seafood is one of their vices. That and dried fruit."
"Three days," exclaimed the C.M.O., "are you positive? Is there any way to lengthen the span? I'm not sure, but I could check to see if we have a Goa'uld healing Sarcophagus in storage aboard the ship."

Ours will not. The Stormriders are extremely light for their great size, I would not worry about them too much.
The two Zeji levitated themselves an inch or so above the floor, while the Stormriders, basically just Lightning Elementals, walked upon the floor without damage. The faint smell of ozone that followed them everywhere was impossible to miss, but they did not leave any visible scorch marks when they passed.

"Scrying through touch falls under the domain of space magick. Renlo the Space Sorcerer of the 6th age was perhaps the best authority on the subject on our world. Thus His writtings will be thirteen rooms over in the ninth library in the black and white bookshelves towards the top in the R's. Look for the book entitled "Scrying and its uses." According to current records it has not been checked out in 13 years.
As to the number of books we have, at last count just 200 years ago, in which I personally hand counted all books and scrolls in the library, we had exactly 500,000 written resources.
If you get lost, ask anyone nearby for the space section." Nelre said.
"no as you can see we are rather light on our feet, so far as we know we have never cracked anything under our shoes."
"Alright then. We shall be at the palace shortly. May I ask what species you are? I have never seen such a small race of people."
"Well just a few hours ago we were Orcs, but this place seems to have changed us now we seem as our descendants did, as Halflings, whichever you consider us to be will be fine but we'd rather forget our time spent as such barbaric creatures as Orcs."
Toops:
"Intresting. There is a high density feild of Mana on this planet, perhaps that is it. Perhaps there is another explanation, I am not sure." The Fire Sorceress said.
The Coral palace was in front of them. The doors were wise open. Inside was a great greeting hall. The Coral was white. A statue of a Woman stood inside, at the back of the Hall. The details were unclear. people wandered about.
"This is a fantastic hall, there is one similar on Toophium though none are allowed to see it." The Doctor was crying with awe, he smiled as he looked around at what the Toops could have done but instead had created fantastic monuments to junk.
"Perhaps, if you are lucky, you will get to see The lake of The Lady Ri-an. Meanwhile, I have something else to show you." She said.
She waved a hand, Flame surrounded them, and vanished. They were on the roof, looking out over the country side. It had Rolling hills, Beautiful forests, Clear Pristene lakes. Feilds of grass and flowers, and the sky was randomly dotted with clouds.
"Tell me, is your world as pretty as this?" The Fire sorceress asked.
"no, It's full of polution and scrapheaps as high as space itself." This sentance made Sporp wonder why he should ever go back, he shook it off and kept smiling.

"There are ways to fix that, you know. It won't be easy, however it is possible to let your planet become as beautiful as this one. We can help you, a little, but most of the effort has to come from you, and others of your nation. All we can do, is show you the way, taking it, is up to you.
Miho nodded in acknowledgement.
The C.M.O. just scoffed and said, "Give me a good E-Book anyday."
Sinclair said, "Doc, you have no taste for knowing one's own history."
"Your damn right I don't," she said, "besides, I'm allergic to those stinking chemicals they use to preserve the books. Make me sneeze."
"There are ways to fix that, you know. It won't be easy, however it is possible to let your planet become as beautiful as this one. We can help you, a little, but most of the effort has to come from you, and others of your nation. All we can do, is show you the way, taking it, is up to you. However, this is best discussed with the rest of the council." The fire sorceress said.
"We would like that, to have a nation as pure as this would be a great relief on the population." He knew that it would not be a relief and that infact the people would abhor but he was confident that he could change their minds.

The wind sorcerer waved a hand. The wind died.
"Come, we meet at The Sacred Temple of The Grand Coral Palace. Before we enter it though, I must know, your footware, will it crack Delicate Coral tile?" he asked.
ooc: sorry this took so long.
Richard looked at his leather boots and shook his head. "No they are regular traveling ware. As long as your tile can hold up to a hard sole, we should be fine."
Seaquest:
"Ahh, yes. Books in Electronic form. In that case, you'll want to go to the computers in the next room, between this, the seventh, and the ninth library, where the actual Book is. Besides, we do not use chemicals to preserve books. They are all exact copies of the originals, laboriously copied by hand. For the E-book, you will need a Medallion to hold a copy of the E-book. You may borrow one from the master Librarian, who knows this library even better than I do." Nelre said.

Abh:
The wind sorcerer lead them to the Grand Coral Palace. Along the way, a Previous Area enchantment, made it to where their footware would not crack the tile.
"So then, We have a lovely Library in the entire west wing, to our left. And to the right, we have prepared Guest rooms for your use. which way shall I take you. You cannot go straight, for it leads to the Temple, and for the moment, entry is not permitted. Or, You can go on a tour of the city. Tomorrow, A contest of strength against the Mana born creatures is scheduled, and tonight, a Feast in celebration of joining The international community. On the third day, The usual assortment of talks are scheduled. In the mean time, ask anything you wish. But my question is, Left, right, up to the roof, or out to the city?" The wind sorcerer asked.

Kahlan nodded and Cypher looked around wondering what he could play with.
"Ok then, this way." The Wind sorcerer said. He turned, and lead them to their rooms. Regrettably, children were not expected, so there was nothing for Cypher to play with, save for other children his age.
The rooms were colored a light red. Cherry dressers, and nice Oak beds sat in the room, as well as a full size vanity mirror. Off to the side, sat a private washroom, with Indoor plumbing. and sitting against the window was a writing desk, complete with pen, paper, and a working computer complete with a scanner/copier/printer. It offered a veiw of a rolling plain filled with various flowers. In the distance, stood a small set of mountains.

Kahlan smiled and wrapped her arms around Richard's waist. "My you certainly do know how to entertain guests. I like the room."
Richard noticed Cara looking around at the room as well. "I suppose you wish the General had come with us."
If she had been wearing her red leather, her face would have matched it perfectly. She didn't say anything though but continued to scan the room.
An idea did come to Richard though. "Do you have a block of wood and any carving tools? It would help me provide Cypher with something to play with."
The wind wizard held out a hand. The air stirred and swirled, centering on his hand. three sheets of paper lifted and blew around the room. A block of wood grew in his hand, and became moderatly large enough to become nearly any kind of toy Richard could think of. Glue appeared on the desk, and next to it, a metal tool box full of nearly every carving tool known to man, and several known to elves. It was a magick box of course. The wind sorcerer set the block down, and the air ceased to stir. The wind settled down, exactly where they came from. If it were not witnessed, it would seem as though it never happened.
"Big enough?" The sorcerer asked.

Richard and Kahlan claimed one of the major beds while Cara was given another one. Cypher would get to sleep in between their parents. While the rest inspected the room, Richard began going to work with the wood. He let the gift lead him to the inner creation hiding inside the wood. The first splinter of wood fell. It would be one of many before it fell.

The block of wood had steadily begun to take shape as the time slowly ticked by. The once uncharateristic block now began to look like a lion with a paw extended. It needed a few more finishing touches before Richard could give it to his son but it was almost finished. It would provide Cypher with some entertainment and give Richard the satisfaction of completing something with his hands and making his boy happy.
Kahlan stood behind him watching as Richard shaved a few more pieces of wood off.
The Sun began to set. The day was wearing on.

The 4 Zeji were waiting for the feast to begin. Waiting rather patiently in fact, considering they had yet to disembowel anything.
Soon, a Temple guard appeared at eacj location. They were dressed in Burnished Steel Scale Mail, and each carried a long spear.
"Dinner is ready. Please proceed downstairs through the Temple and into the great oaken doors on the otherside. You are invited to dine at the Personal hall of the sorcerers themselves." The Guard said. Then he turned and walked away.
Seaquest:
Nelre nods at the guard.
"See you there." He says as he fades away.
Toops:
The Fire sorceress nods.
"Please, come." She said.
She disappeared in a burst of fire.
All along the way, Guards would be there for direction.
The Temple itself was in a courtyard. There was a spot in the middle where a gargantuan pink flower of indeterminate species and origin grew. It was currently a bud, waiting to open.
Through the oak doors, lay a very big table, with all the sorcers scattared about. On it was a collection of very delicious food, centered around a space Mambo. Of course the average Mambo is about ten foot tall, and seven foot long, being only a foot wide, so of course there was plenty of fish to go around. Drinks were set everywhere, and of all types, including non-alcoholic drinks for non-drinkers, and children.
Of the sorcerers, they were all present, save for the Grand Sorceress
There was Nelre, the aged Science sorcerer.
There was the wind and lightning sorcerer,
The Sorceress of Fire,
The Sorceress of Healing,
The sorcerer of Water,
The sorcerer of Earth/Ground,
The Sorcerer of time,
The Sorceress of space,
And next to Nelre sat Schotty, the next sorcerer of Science.
They were all dressed in Sorcerer robes, and each robe reflected the sorcerers particular Element.

IC:The Dinner was cooked hopefully to everyone's satisfaction. Fruits, Berries, Nuts, vegetables, and meats of all kinds, the Mambo sat in the center, almost like a prized trophy. Its meat glistened white, and would taste, similar to a salmon fish, but not quite.
The room they were in, once they were sat down, faded away, to reveal a clear tranquil night. It felt as though the moon should be shining, but it wasn't.
"Come, sit, sit. Tonight is a grand night indeed. We are still quite indoors, however this room has been spelled, to allow one to veiw what is transpiring outside, or in this instance, enjoy the evening air. I am sure there are questions to be asked all around, so ask away, we will answer. And I hope, you will too. Kahlan's eyes sparkled as she gazed up at the evening sky. She hooked an arm around Richard's waist and rested her head on his shoulder. Whereas Kahlan and Cypher both seemed eager to dig into the food that was arrayed before them with all its aroma. Cara on the other hand hardly ate anything, reserving herself to remain on guard and watch the other guests. Ricahrd basically had to force her to eat anything.
Kahlan Amnell smiled when she looked at Nelre. "It all looks and smells wonderful."

"Glad to know i can still cook in my old age. Actually, half the credit goes to the sorceress of fire here. After all, the wise woodsman replants what he takes. The same is true for magick. If you don't take care of your gifts, soon you will have no gifts. Anyways, dig in. Don't be bashful." Nelre said.

Up on the roof was a very big Fuse that ran over and down the wall and disappeared into the wall.
"From what I understand, we're to light the main fuse." the Time Sorcerer said.
The Fire Sorceress simply blew on the fuse holding one finger to her lips. Nothing happened, then twin jets of Fire, one Red, the other Blue, issued forth from her mouth, curled around each other, and lit the Main Fuse. Sparks lit up, and the Fuse burnt out and disappeared.
Seconds pass, and then, off in the distance, a Red and Blue Firecracker sails up from beyond the mountains.

The Fireworks were visable from space, however, The Dark Lightless Moon of Remora, began emiting, energy, some minor gravitional distortions, some other forms of energy, as well as small beams of light.
OOC: I'm not onto the Grande Finally yet, after all, the sorcerers are still there. Don't worry about the moon, though it would be a curiosity for ships up there.

Richard leaned on the wall with his arms crossed and watched the beginning of the firework show. Kahlan leaned in as well and Richard moved an arm to wrap it around her narrow waist.
Cypher was hopping up and down at the base because he wanted to be higher up. Richard bent down with his free arm and scooped him up to see.
Cara merely stood back and off to the left a bit with her arms crossed.

I.S.S. John Sheridan - Main Bridge
"Looks like fireworks."
"Are you recording the visuals?"
"Yes, sir. Its all going into the databanks."
As everyone on the bridge was focused on the fireworks display, which was quite interesting from their perspective and viewing angle, the small flash on a lone science station monitor went ignored as the ship's sensors registered the change in the moon.
Planet's Surface
"Wow!" exclaimed Miho between bites.
The other SeaQuestians kept their appreciation to themselves, for now. Sinclair in particular was waiting untill after the show to start clapping. In fact, Sincliar was the only one there to actually have seen the displays put on as part of every new year's celebration in person back on Altera.
The Fireworks got even bigger and more impressive. Silently, the Sorcerers disappeared, with a smile.
Up came Fireworks that, individually, managed the impressive feat of showing pictures, but, put together, told a story.
It was a story of a Young boy, and a young girl, Worlds apart, who come together through fate, and have a beautiful romance, only to be seperated by a Dark and Terrible Beast, this beast took the form of a great shadow. The Boy, now a man, followeded the Shadow to its lair, on the moon, and there, did terrible battle with the Shadowbeast, and sealed him up on the moon, rescuing his true love in the process, they came back to the planet, and lived happily ever after, with a large family.
Space...
The moon began to have a minor lunar Quake.
OOC: yet still more to come.

The story told by fireworks had an eerie resemblance to events in both Kahlan and Richard's life. The dark and terrible beast could have either represented Richard's father, Darken Rahl, or the Keeper himself who was responsible for a long and bloody war that took the lives of many, so very many.
Richard's arm squeezed a little tighter around Kahlan's waist and she rested her head on his shoulder. They both looked down at their son. Their first one after an unfortunate accident with Kahlan's first pregnancy. For the first time in their lives, they felt like they could actually live a peaceful and happy life.
A Few moments of Silence, and nothing. Then, a big Red Fire Cracker shot up over the mountains towards the Palace and city, and exploded over head with a barely audible pop, and a small Gleam. Globlets of Fire Drfited dowm, swirled around, and became small Fire sprites, dancing merrily with each other but not burning anything. Then, they all jumped and disappeared. Next, a gigantic Dragon made of Fire winged its way towards them, roaring with the Fury of the Eternal Hellfire itself. It did a Dive straight for the Roof of the Coral palace, but then veered away back towards the sky, flew around in an impressive pattern, then exploded in a big bang and a bright flash.
Next, the wind picked up and swirled around. a big Green Tornado swirled around, and made a funny face at the city. Then it blew up in a beg blue flash.
The Blue expanded, and expanded, and it seemed as if they were under water. Indeed, everyones hair was drifting every which way as if they were, yet they were not really under water. A gigantic Seahorse swam by and drifted apart in to millions of smaller seahorses, who then exploded. But that wasn't all. A Bright colored assortment of sea life could be seen all over the city. A clown fish darted by Richard, and a dolphin chattered at kahlan. Meanwhile, a Great white Shark circled Cara like it was going to have her for dinner. A lion fish sat on Cypher's shoulders.
An electric Eel buzzed around Miho, a manta ray swam near Sinclair. Mean while, a giant Octopus was ready to Arm wrestle Alir'ang. the Two Furlings were being visted by a Hammerhead Shark.
The Sealife stayed there for a moment or two, then all flitted away and with a pop, exploded. The water like energy vanished, and left everybodies hair in a mess.
A Giant rock Golem surfaced from the Feild, it had Gemstones for eyes. It threw Diamonds up, and they exploded into big diamond like explosiens. He threw a large amount of gold into the air. They fell, but each exploded in a small bang on the way downn. Finally, the Golem himself glowed bright and exploded with a very big bang indeed.
Next one could see a Maliria Germ the size of of most small Mansions hovering in the Feild. Suddenly, a very big hypodermic Needle appeared, and did battle with the germ, finally defeating it, they both blew up.
Next came the Space Sorceresses turn....
Space....
All around the ships, Gigantic World shattering meteors form out of nothing. Moving of their own will most disappeared, but three moved into the Atmosphere.
Back on the Surface.
Everyone could see them coming. Most of the City began to panic.
Then a great Black Disc appeared, and absorbed two of them. The third simply cracked open on the feild below, sending up millions of small fireworks that looked like shooting stars. The fell to the ground, and all quietly disappeared. The city clapped and cheered.
But what could The time sorcerer do?
Almost as in response. Time seemed to flow backwards, at a hyper excellerated pace. Back Everything was still there, but in the feild, they could see an illusion of Creation going back to the very beginning, to the Big Bang. Then it stopped. A big egg sat in the air. It felt mennacing.
A woman appeared next to them. Her robes indicated that she too was a sorceress, but had control over all domains. A Guard nearby could be heard to whisper "The Grand Sorceress" She threw a massive silver hammer at the Egg. It cracked open with a Big bang that was loud enough to waken the dead and kill the living.
The City cheered.
The Sorcerers appeared above the gates, and the sorceress joined them. They bowed.
Then the City began to chant.
"GALAXY! GALAXY! GALAXY! GALAXY! GALAXY! GALAXY! GALAXY! GALAXY!"
The Galaxy of course, was an extremly flashy Special effect Glamour level illusion that really did nothing except entertain large crowds of people.
OOC: Over the top, yes. But then, I've been dying for an excuse to do that. Besides, how else would magickal fireworks be done?

"Impressive," mumored an awed Miho as she set her now empty bowl to the side.
Even Sinclair, a veteran, as it were, of fireworks specticles back on Altera, had his eyes wide and his mouth agape with awe and surprise. He, and the others, were too stunned to speak.

Cypher laughed and clapped his hands at the lion fish on his shoulder. Richard waved his hand and created another clownfish to play with the one that was darting around him. Kahlan reached out to pet the dolphin's nose that was talking to her while Cara glared at the shark and waved her hands at it trying to dispell it. "I hate magic."
Richard and Kahlan smiled at Cypher's enjoyment of the spectacle and laughed at the spectacle of Cara.
The firework display ended all too soon for Cypher who was saddened to see his little friend go.
"That was quite good don't you think dear?"
Richard nodded. "Yes it was."
"Why don't we have a firework display like this one time back on D'Hara?"
Cara stormed over. "If Lord Rahl does this back home, then I'll tease him relentlessly. I refuse to be subject to this type of treatment again."
The man sighed. "Don't worry Cara, I don't think the people of D'Hara would quite understand this. They've been through enough but I believe a traditional fireworks display with gunpowder could be arranged. Is that alright with you Cara?"
The Mord-Sith merely crossed her arms and grunted.
"I suppose that's a 'yes'."
The Sorcerers bowed.
"As the people wish. For the Grand Finale, the Galaxy Magifireworks." Marill, the Grand Sorceress that had appeared, said.
They appeared in the feild. The Mana feild, which was very thick, started gathering in the feild. Even non-magic users could feel it, there was that much. Great sparks of energy flew every which way. The Ground, the walls, the very palace itself began to shake as the energy necessary gathered.
Then with a great Crackle, a Galaxy appeared over the feild. It was approximatly 30 miles in diameter. One could see all the billions of stars, black hols, and the bigger of the planets. It rotated on its axis, then, one supernova, then another, one could see each and every star go nova. Then, time stopped, and the Galaxy turned ponderously, slowly, and one got a top down veiw of the Galaxy. Great space creatures moved in the Galaxy as time resumed, and they too, blew up as Stars exploded. One after another in rapid succession, 1,000 explosions a second, and more, until the Galaxy was devoid of stars, then the Galaxy became a massive star, it was so bright, that it created minor daylight for miles, and could almost blind the sensors of ships in space. Then it became a Red Giant, and got bigger, everything went white, and a blew up with a decently loud bang. The supernove harmed no one, but the wend blew against everyone.
The city cheered. It was over.
Space.
The moon became everyone's problem, as it began to violently Quake, and send out massive gravitiation distortions. Energy gathered at the Core.
The Arrow moved, taking the other two ships with it Via Tractor beam.
CRACK!
A spell 1,000 years old ended violently, with a gravitional shockwave capable of crushing the three ships. However it ended before it touched them.
The Dark moon Remora shone brightly, even the parts the normall could not because it did not face the sun.
On the Planet, the entire city was quite, as were all nine sorcerers. No one, in there entire lifetime, had seen the moon glow. It was pretty.
The Sorcerers reappeared at the palace top.
"I, I have no idea what to say. The Dark Moon shines again." Nelre said, falteringly.
"Well, no matter." said the new Sorceress.
She bowed partily.
"Greetings. I am Marill, the Grand Sorceress of Ri-an, high Priestess of The Lady, and leader of the Council.. We're just a little surprised because this was an unexpected and unforseen event. Let us retire for the night. Shall we escort you to your rooms?" Marill asked. Although they hid it well, all nine sorcerers were actually very much afriad of the moon shining.

Richard still stood standing looking at the moon even though his wife and son had turned to leave. Kahlan stopped when she noticed he wasn't following. "What is it dear?"
Instead of answering his wife, Richard activated the clyuno on the back of his hand. "Meiffert are you there?"
No answer.
"General?....General?..."
No answer came back.
His golden cape whirled around as he looked at the nine sorcerers. "What happened to the moon? That wasn't a part of the show."
Up in space General Meiffert was running around furiously trying to bring power back online to the ship.
"A question that requires going back 5,000 years to answer. A very old spell has just ended, suddenly, and unexpectedly." Marill said.
Nelre closed his eyes, mumbling, without speaking.
"You'll be pleased to know, that Schotty made sure to take your ships with him, as he left. None are harmed, though it would appear yours is without power, Lord Rahl. Lifesigns still appear to be active, possibly attempting to restore power? Schotty can go over and try to help, if you wish." Nelre said.
"Tomorrow, after breakfast. I will personally tell you of the greatest feind to ever walm our world, a feind that took millions of innocent lives, and was sealed upon the moon. Tomorrow, I shall tell you of The Shadowlord. You saw him, tonight. The Story told by the fireworks, that was history, not a fairytale." Marill said.

"Interesting," mumored Miho in response to the information about the tale hidden withing the art of the fireworks display.
Sinclair already knew, by looking at a special indicator light on his Palm Link, that the John Sheridan was at Yellow Alert. The same indicator would change color depending on what alert level the ship was on.
He smiled to himself and thought, "That's one benefit of having what is effectively a gravimetric quantum singularity at the heart of your power core. Its not that easy to turn off."
Of course, he had made no attempt to conceal his thoughts, so anyone with telepathic talent would be able to pick it up with ease.
Aloud he said, "If I know my crew, they will try to assist."

"Report!"
"Sensors indicate a massive gravimetric tidal wave eminating from that moon. All indications is that it would have caused enough extreme damage to strand us here, at the very least."
"The Ri-an ship pulled us clear after attaching a tractor beam to us."
"The Abh vessel appears to with-out power."
"Send some shuttles over there with Naquadah Generators and engineering teams."
"Aye, sir."

Several shuttles darted from the massive SeaQuestian ship's hanger en route to the stricken Abh ship. They were loaded with engineers, tools, and spare Naquadah Generators to provide an emergency power supply while work was done to restore primary power.

Richard turned from the moon and gathered up his family. "It seems all have known dark days in their history. For us...it was millenia." With that, they moved past the sorcerers and entered back into the building.
General Meiffert moved past a D'Haran in leather armor to answer the transmission.
There is no need for alarm. Our communications went on the fritz for a moment and somehow the blast has managed to knock out these Abh clyunos. Don't worry, Claudia drives don't lose power like that.

IC:
Schotty sent a message to both ships after regaining conciousness.
It read: "Are you ok?"
Meanwhile the sorcerers saw everyone back to their rooms.
a hour of nothing, then softly, slowly, the moonlight created a sleep spell effect on the world. It drifted accross the world, slowly, surely. It was impossible to resist forever, and difficult to resist for too long. It was so easy to let it take over. The beds were right there, after all. If anyone looked into the history database on the computers, they would find Remora was an ancient word for sleep.
It was a deep sleep. A dream state. All were effected. Cypher was given a diffrent dream than his parents. He would dream he was taken to a massive garden with nearly every kind of vegetation possible, and was invited to play with the other children. A very kind lady sat on a big flower, and watched them all, with a motherly smile.
Everyone else though, would Dream they were taken to a Castle on the moon. A castle influenced by madness. nothing would make sense, unless one was insane. They would find themselves, unable to move, speak, use their powers, or do anything, except breath. The machine strapped around their waste, interfered with the Nerve Impulses that allowed the other actions. They were all, also, each in a seperate room.
"They call me a monster." Said a strange voice. It was sweet, inticing. It was a man's voice. It was the kind of voice that made you want to do as it said. No one seemed to be in the room though. The walls were white, and there were lots of shadows, but no one was in them.
"They will try to poison your minds with their words against me. But you must not listen to them, for they are only lies and half-truths. You must listen to me, if you wish to hear the Truth." Said the voice.
A man stepped out of the shadows. His skin was as the blackest night, and no details could be made of his face. He wore a suit of white, with a Black shirt, and a black belt, black shoes, and a black feather in the band of his hat. He carried a cane, with a diamons on top. It seemed to serve no use, except he liked holding it.
"They call me, The Shadowlord, and indeed, they are correct. I was born of Sin. I have the power to manipulate the light, and the darkness, use the shadows. I can very weakly do other things, but this, this is my greatest power. Yet beyond that, not even I know exactly, when I came to be. It seems to me though, that I always was, as long as the moon existed, so was I. My first sentient thought though, was approximatly 6,000 years ago.
For ages, the People of Ri-an have wished upon me, their Anger, their Hatred, their Greed, their Vengence. Upon me, was wished the Dark Side of their frail Human Nature, and upon their world, their mother world, the good side. Thus it was, I was born in darkness, without Love, without pity, without a friend in the world. So I went to the Green world, their mother, Ri-an." The Shadowlord said.
He moved to the side of the room.
"You must be terribly frightened. Do not be so. I won't harm you, though they say that I will. Yes, 4,999 yeas ago, they say that I will. I traveled the world, and came upon a small gathering of people. They called it a city, and named it Elru. I came in the night, as a friend. They saw me, in their dreams, and were frightened. I tried to tell them, I was no monster, I simply wished for a friend, but then she came. If only she hadn't came, things might have been diffrent, but no, they called out for an imaginary Guardian to protect them from the feind in their dreams, and they gor their Lady." The Shadowlord said. He turned aside, grief stricken that he has never once known the feeling of Love, given freely.
"Yes, Their Lady, their Guardian Mother, Ri-an. She was as sweet as the summer, as beautiful as the spring, and strong like Winter, with the Color of Fall. She, was like me, she was, as long as the world existed. Perhaps she, could be my friend. I approached her in the secret places beneath the world, where no mortal may go, and I asked her to be my friend, and I asked her with a single rose, I painstakenly grew myself, on my barren and life deprived orb. She threw me out though." The Shadow lord said.
He pointed at the person in each of his incarnations, in each room, and they felt a chair rise beneath them, instead of the cold hard floor. Comfort.
"Let me help you, let me allieviate this darkness." He said. He raised a hand, and the shadows sisapeared, living a bright light filled room.
"Yes, Help. I tried to help them, to win their trust. I came across Elru, as it burned, I put it out,and told them I could help them be strong, I asked them to make me their friend. But alas, they said no. They accused me of burning their village, of killing the herds and their Crops, yet how could it be me? Did I not revive their dead animals, restore their crops, save their villages, their children? It was the Lady, she had poisoned them against me, and took their herds, their crops, burned their villages and killed their children She was to blame, not me. Then, she perverted nature, and gave them knowledge of Magick, with which to fight me, to stop me as I came. For years Idefended myself and tried to persued them to be my friend. For years, I failed." He said bitterly.
Then, he smiled, an act that, didn't seem like it belonged on his withered and tortured face.
"Then I found her, the one person who would be my friend. Her name was Riella, and she was a pretty young woman in love with a handsome young man, named Hregar, a Mage, and a great warrior. She said she would be my friend, and I was joyful a friend at last, but Hregar was fearful and attacked me with his great and fearful powers. I fled with Riella to my Orb, here, the moon, and caused to be, this great castle. She longed for Hregar, and who could blame her. However, she realised why I fled to the moon. Does not each and every creature have a right to live, knowing peace, love, and friendship? All to soon however, The Lady sent Hregar to my Orb, a place I called Remora, and she protected him from me. Naturally I tried to throw out the Invader, and even Riella begged him not to kill me, but in the end, he killed her, and blamed it on me. I tried to get him to understand, it was his weapon, not mine. But instead, he vanished, and sealed me upon my own world, with the magick powers of the legendary Black Holes. Over time, that spell weakened, and tonight, it Broke. Now I come to you, to ask you to be my friend, to warn you of the people with which you have associated tonight, and to tell you the truth, before they poisoned you with lies." The Shadowlord said.
Then, everything went Black, and it was morning time.

Kahlan moaned and rolled over to find that Richard was already dressed and strapping the baldrice that contained the Sword of Truth over his shoulder. "Where are you going Richard?"
He sat down on the edge of the bed and stomped his brown boots on. "I am going to speak with these Sorcerers. I want you to stay here with Cypher."
A look of worry crossed her face. "Does it have something to do with a dream?"
He stopped for a moment and then resumed. "Yes. Stay here please."
Richard got up and moved to the door. "Cara, watch over my wife and son."
The Mord-Sith thumped her fist to her heart and bowed curtly. "Yes my Lord." And with that Richard crossed the threshold out into the hallway in search of the sorceres running this place.
The only sorcerer to be found, was the Grand sorceress, standing watch over the city.
"Good morning. I trust you slept well? Everything seems calm, a relief to all. We stayed up all night last night, to see if the Shadow was still alive. Either he does not yet know the seal is gone, or he is dead." Marill said.

Unfortunatly though, a really bad Thunderstorm's coming tonight. Wish i could avert it, but, I cannot, not wihout causing a drought. Richard sat there in the seat wondering how much of time had he missed while he slept. This place seemed so strange.
After the movie finished playing, the air around them grew brighter, and brighter.
Those looking on, would see the three glow bright white, as the entire area inverted colors, and the ground glowed bright green.
The three decended into the ground, and went to a hidden place, a sacred place. When they regained their senses, they were in World Heart, deep, at the core, a sacred place of solitude protected by The World Spirit.
"You have been lied to." Came the weak response. It echoed all around them, and came from the very walls themselves.
"Did he also tell you, that when he came upon the village, he came as an enemy. He demanded friendship, and gave nothing in return. When the people saw this, the ceased to be firends.
They left their bodies, taken by the world spirit, back in time, to see events for themselves, and judge.
They saw Shadowlord. He was a terrible nightmare beast. He came upon village after village, and in his wake, came misery and suffering. He changed his shape and form, to appear as one of them, he burned houses, murderd children, rotted crops, and culled herds, and then disappeared, coming upon them in his terrible beast form, putting out the fires he started, rasing what he killed, restoring crops, and saying he should be their best friend for what he had done. When denyed friendship, he went on to destroy entire villages. Desperate for a guardian to aave them, the people cried out, and the world Spirit awoke, truely awoke, and became the Lady Ri-an. Over the years she did nothing but counter the Shadowlord, but, then, at length, wearied, she left nine guardians in her place. Each one with the powers of magick, each one, the first sorcerers.
Then came a time, when he forced his will upon a woman, named Riella. Her true love sought to free her, but the Shadowlord fleed with his friend, saying she was going to be his bride, and that he would take from her, the power to bring forth life.
They went back to present day, to their bodies.
"I have shown you the past. No one, not even I, have the power to vail that which has occured. You saw events as they transpired. Shadowlord has done nothing but maim, kill, and destroy my children for countless genrations, and now he wants you to be his friends, so he can do more of the same. You must make up your own minds, but first, remember the rose he said he grew for me? let me show you it." Ri-an said.
A Glass jar with a steel bottom appeared in front of them. In it, was a black rose, and from it, they could see slow painful death spilling from its petals.
"If I were to touch it, I would grow sick, and fade away, shadowlord could then take over. If you were to touch it, you would die instantly." Ri-an said.

"SeaQuestians aren't a people who take people at their word that easily," Miho's mindvoice said, "we tend to value actions over words. Actions that we experience with the waking senses.
"Now, I don't mean to doubt you, but those images could have been made out of whisps of nothing. Do you have any physical evidence I could examine with my Craft to see for myself?"

"She is not lying. I could tell."
He unstrapped the baldrice from his shoulders and laid it as his side. "What actually happened to this woman that the Shadowlord took? He said that he was killed by her love."
"The Rose is solid, and nearly 3,000 years of age." Lady Ri0an said.
"As for Lady Riella, and her love, Lord Hregar, I shall show you." Lady Ri-an said.
They left their bodies again, traveling as spirits, through time, to the moon.
Shadowlord Castle, 1,000 years ago.
A frightened young woman sat in the corner. A man in armor, with magickal symbols carved into it stood defiantly in the center. The Light in the room began to fade away. The torches were still lit, the fire was still there, but the light begun to wrap around the torches instead of flowing accross the room, as light normally does. Thus, an unbreakable darkness decended. Then it lifted, and their stood the Shadowlord, in his suited form.
"So, you have come to rescue her have you? I knew you would, you hate me, want to take everything from me. Its too late now, I've already taken from her, the ability to bring forth Life. Soon, my generals shall decend from the moon, and destroy The World Spirit known as Ri-an. Leave, now. Besides, you frighten her." Shadowlord said.
"It is you she is frightened of. You say she loves you, that you made a friend, well I know her better than that. Riella hated you, you destroyed her parents when she was a child, because they would not give you her to raise. You destroyed her friends when they sought to protect her, now you've kidnapped her. Why her, out of all the people of Ri-an, why have you fought so hard to rescue her?" Hregar asked as he drew his sword.
"No Hregar, he said he would kill you when you came for me, that's why I went with him, to protect you!" Riella cried.
"Ahh, yes. There was that promise of killing you. I wanted Riella for a very special reason. I made her stronger. I have made all of Ri-an stronger. Out of misery and suffering comes great strength. Riella carried the ability to bear children of remarkable strength, strength enough to destroy me, but i took it from her, and now I shall craft the Dark Army, and take from Ri-an, all the love and affection I so rightfully deserve for making you stronger. Then I shall turn to the rest of Creation. I have been to a Galaxy known as Milky way. There are several civilizations over there, that are strong, but I shall make them stronger. The Dark Army shall sweep accross Milky way, as a Plague, and visit great misery and suffering indeed. I shall take love, force friendship. I learned, that is the only way affection can be won, by forcing it from others." Shadowlord said. The room went completly black.
Spirit diminsion where Richard, Miho, and Marill are viewing all this...
"Now, I shall make it to where you can see without light. I bestow upon you, spirit sight, the power to veiw another's soul." Lady Ri-an said.
Richard and Miho then became able to see The Shadowlord, no matter how dark it was. Marill previously had the ability.
Shadowlord castle, 1,000 years ago....
The Room had just darkened. Hregar looked about carefully. He too, had Spirit Sight. Shadow Lord hurle a massive spear at Hregar, Hregar could not see the spear, because it did not have a soul. It stuck out of his chest. He removed it, and healed himself. Then, he saw Shadowlord, His sword glowed bright, pushing back the darkness, it sliced through Shadowlord's spirit form, and Shadowlord threw back Hregar. Shadowlord looked at Riella, She was curled up into a frightened ball. She only wanted to be home again, not lost in this nightmare. Shadowlord bickedup a massive spear, and killed her with it out of spite.
Riella screamed, and her soul left her body. Shaodwlord removed the spear, and hid it away. Riella's soul grabbed it, and vanished. Hregar's eyes burned with anger, with sorrow.
"You have killed your love with your own sword, Hregar." Shadowlord said.
"Lie. You killed her, I would never kill the one I love." Hregar said.
"Can you be sure, did you see what happened for sure? All is cast in darkness, you do not know for sure what happened. Perhaps Ceilng stones crushed her, there are many possibilites.
Hregar's heart became filled with vengence.
"I shall destroy you." he said.
He leaped upon Shadowlord, and a fearsome battle ensued back and forth. For hours it raged, until Hregar realised, he could not destroy Shadowlord.
He vanished. Shadowlord laughed.
"I shall exact my revenge upon you, in a most slow and cruel manner. No one wounds The shadowlord and lives to tell the tale." He said.
Space...
Hregar stood upon nothing, drifting in space. An energy mask covered his body, allowing him to breath in space, using oxygen from the planet. He gathered his magick, and upon the moon of Remora, crafted a Quantum Singularity, though he knew not what he did. He binded it to effect only the moon, and all upon it, to force them to stay there. A side effect was, that the moon would never shine again. Unfortunatly, Hregar could only make it last, 1,000 years, though, this too, he did not know. Exhausted, he slumped back, and went to unconciousness.
A great creature of space loomed in the distance. It was the Great Guardian Wurm, Laeviathane. Laeviathan new there were things on this world, but he did not now they could travel space as he could. seeing the unconciousman, he grabbed him by the teeth, and returned Hregar to the world below.
World Heart, modren day.
The three returned to ther bodies. Richard and Miho still had the power to see spirits. In Marill, they would see her spirit, and another spirit, a bigger spirt, powerful. The world spirit. It was also in all the rocks around them. It was in every blade of grass, every tree, every stone, all the water, all of it.
"I have shown you naught but truth, for I took your souls back in time, and showed you events as they happened. I Trust seeing the truth has answered all your questions." The World Spirit said.

"All but one," Richard sighed, "what of the Shadowlord now?"
The World spirit moved, clustered together into a compressed ball, set itself down on the floor, and from it, a beautiful woman emerged. She wore a green silk dress, and had vines growing in with her watery blue hair. Her eyes were brown, and her skin was impossible to gauge, because of the vegetation growing out of her skin.
"Now, we wait for his next move. He attempted to garner your support, and thus compromise our careful planning. We have been watching, learning. He has an Army of Shadow, Shadow Demons, shadow spirits, Shadow creatures. We have been training against them. It was foretold to me in a dream though, that i would be the one to slay him, so i simply wait for that oppertunity." Lady Ri-an said.

"I will offer any help you want. Such battles are not pleasant to fight alone, I know."
All the more reason for the compitition of strength. It started specificly to train fighters to defeat the Shadowlord. As outsiders, your participation would be most welcome. We gather the fiercest of monsters, and carefully take notes during battle, and use them to refine our strategy against Shadowlord. You don't have to of course, but I can promise, no one dies. I was watching. Miho, i believe the one you know as alir'ang was most anxious to participate, was he not?" Ri-an asked.
Ri-an snapped, and they began to ascend through the planet to the surface.
On the surface, they were on the opposite side of the planet, amidst small villages.
Guards stood at city's edge, watching, waiting, for monsters.

"I believe I wouldn't need any practice on a monster. Still, it couldn't hurt to see what I will be up against."
Lady Ri-an nodded. Thick fog covered the area, blinding all sight, yet Ladyri-an was visable, and leading them on. As it lifted, they were in the middle of the ocean, walking on water. Lady Ri-an was holding them up. Indeed, the water felt as solid as stone.

"Impressive. So what plans do you have for us?"
"Well, I could hold you prisoner here in the middle of the ocean until both of you declare your undying love for me." Ri-an said with a mischeivous twinkle in her eye.
Then a Narwhale surfaced beneath them, and the four of them went whaleback riding.
"Really, this is how I spend my days, going from place to place, watching my children, checking on them."Said Ri-an with a Melancholy sigh.
OOC: Could you possibly get Seaquest back over here. I know he's on, and I'm sure he's probably watching his new thread, I'm just waiting for a response from him before progressing.

OOC: Sorry. I've been AFK for a while. Had an unsual coffee buzz.
IC: As this was not the real world, Miho thought up a bowl of potato chips and started chowing down while she listened.
"Just hope we don't catch cold," she said.
She then held up the bowl and asked, "Want a chip?"
Unfortunatly it was as real as real could possibly be. Thus Miho's potato Chips were created by drawing upon Ri-an's power, unless Miho could make chips with her own power.
"No thanks. I do not need food. I create it." Ri-an said.
She cracked her knuckles.
"Well, its always been expected of me to dress for battle, and over see the arena. So, without further ado." Ri-an said.
She closed her eyes, Mana gathered and curled around her She glowed brightly. First, boots apeared, studed with Steel, then her battle dress appeared, Also studded with steel, and made out of leather, it went up, and into a pair of arm sleeves for her arms, these, made out of steel. Her hair blew in the breeze, and then was protected beneath a steel helmet. Most impresseive of all, was her sword, The sword of Ri-an, the most valuble artifact in the entire world. It was made of Mythril, it glowed with the power of life, yet it brought death. It had the power of rapid Destruction and Decay, extreme Putrification. Out of heer back, came a pair of wings, feathered, like an Angel's.
Then her voice flew on gossamer wings, around the world.
"Come my children, and gather yourselfs at the great Arena in Hregarsenberg, for today, I shall instruct thee further in the arts of War. The Shadowlord has returned from his entrapment upon Remora. Now we must leave the shroud of peace behind, and work together to destroy him." She said." She said.
Although it travled the world, it was naught but a whisper.
The Narwhale turned, creating a big wave, and travled for the Arena.
It took only minuets to get there, from where they were.

OOC: I was under the assumption that we were still in that Mind Meld thing. Thus, the chips wouldn't have been real and would have been imaginary.
IC: Miho asked, after a wave caught her in the face, "Are we still in the Mind Meld?
"This," she spits out some sea water, "seems a bit too real."
"You are, but you are not. You have been to the World Heart, Its properties are such, that it over shadowed your mind Meld, with its own Mind Meld. It broke its Mind Meld when we left., however yours was never broken, yet it lost its power, because of The World Heart breaking its mind Meld. The World heart, is where all Sorcerers go, to bond and become one with me. You can still break your mind meld, without any ill effects." Lady Ri-an said.
OOC: The World Heart bonds all who enter it, Body and Soul, with The world Spirit, Thus she was able to show you the past, as it occured. Its strength is far beyond even what Vulcans can do. When Ri-an took you to leave, it undid its Meld, which took the power from yours, without technicly breaking it. Thus, all are in the Rel World, yet can still share thoughts like in Miho's Mind Meld. By the way, if You were not bonded in such a manner, all three of us would have died of massive heat exposure, because the World Heart is, The heart of the world, at its very core. Without Ri-an's protection, anyone who enters, dies., except the Shadowlord, because he is as she is, and thus, does not need it.
If you like, both can be true. You are on the Back of the Narwhale, yet still in the fake world. As you come out of it, You see that you are in fact, on the back of a whale, with a bowl of chips that are getting wet and soggy due to the water. Ri-an cannot help herself, Creation is a part of her being. Your close enough to her, that some thoughts such as chips, can be made manifest.
OOC: I shall assume you two wait for me.
IC: Several Minuets pass, then they arrive at Shore, but that's alright, because The Colusseum was not to far from the shore. People were gathering. The yearly fights were always a spectacle to behold. Lady rian walked up to the locked gates, drew her sword, and destroyed the lock she herself had made the last year previously. She flew to the highest point of the arena.
Back at the Palace.
The sorcerers approach the guests in turn.
"The Lady has announced that the match we told you about is to take place soon. May we accompany you to the arena? You may participate if you wish. I believe Lord Rahl, and a Seaquestian woman named Miho are already there with her." They said.

"Yes Mother Confessor. Lord Rahl lacks many things and eyes in the back of his head is one of them. I don't know what you see in him."
Kahlan only smiled as Cara turned to the sorcerer.
Richard walked through the newly opened gate into the arena.

IC: Arlir'ang glanced at Miho and Sinclair. Both nodded their permission, so he went over to the registration counter and announced his intention to join in.
OOC: Actually, I had posted a few posts above, that the sorcerers at the palace were offering to escort your respective groups to the arena. My previous post is hazy in the time part. It means basicly, that after the rest of your group caught up to Miho, escorted by the sorcerers, and Rahl's wife Child and body guard caught up, Marill showed them all the registration desk so that those who wished to participate could. There's a rough five hour gap in between the time Rahl, Miho, Marill and Ri-an get there, and the time the Sorcerers and your parties show up.
They were taken all together on the city square, which is actually a massive transportation platform that can fly through the air really fast.
After complete registration, it'll take 30 minutes. Rahl's going first, then Alir1ang, then Shadowlord shows up and Lady Ri-an whoops the tar out of him and he flees crying like a little girl.
Oh yes.
Rahl Vs. Treant Cheif Long Branches
Alir`ang Vs. a Slypher.
Then, Ri-an Vs. The Shadowlord. (Not the Final Battle, That comes many threads later.)
I'm assuming that they would come, because otherwise, they would be left by themselves all alone at the Coral palace.

OOC: Ahh, must have missed those posts.
Oh, and one thing you should know about Arlir'ang, he's had a few custom work done on him (like Wolvering style claws in addition to his natural ones). He takes his work very seriously and is one of few SQians who has gone for the whole modification thing.
Here's the info:
Pic (don't know if you've seen it) of standard Male Draconian:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v649/JPKTrekker/Character%20Pics/Bronze_Dragon_by_jaxxblackfox.jpg
Custom Work Arlir'ang had done:
1.) Wolverine style claws;
2.) 2 Salivary(sp?) glands replaced with 2 different glands that produce 2 different chemicals that ignite when mixed and combined with oxygen;
3.) Had the inside of his mouth and other affected areas 'fire-proofed'.
OOC: That's alright. A few things you should know about Slyphers.
Their immune extremly resistant to magick. Fire usually irritates them, but with enough fire, they will die. I don't really have a pic, but, Take the Gigantic Spider from Lord of the Rings, Two towers I believe, possibly return of the King. Cover it with really hard scales, and instead of four sets of two legs, it has three, two of which it uses for fighting, and combine the abdomen with the head, in a more streamlined Cigar shape. There's a standered Slypher. They can be completly 100% invisible to the senses, except those with Spirit sight. (Miho, richard, Marill, Lady Ri-an, Shadowlord, and when I make him, Id.) However, in this condition, they are completly unable to attack, or get hurt, however they can move. They posses 1/4th human intelligence. Like The Terrasque of D&D fame, they can also Regenerate, however, they do so slowly.

Richard adjusted both pouches on his belt and checked his sword in its baldrice. Everything was prepared for this battle as he awaited his opponent to be announced and arrive in the arena.
All got quite in the arena.
Boom!
A noise was heard in the back, like the opening of a massive pair of doors.
Boom!
Another noise.
Boom!, Boom!, Boom! Boom!
The noises were too loud to be random. Something was coming, something big, really big.
The great Doors opened. The stood 50 ft. High.
Boom!, Boom!.
Nothing could be seen.
It had to bend over to get out, but suddenly, a 65 Ft. Tall Treant appeared and entered the arena.
"Lord Richard Rahl Vs. Chief Longbranches!" an excited announcer said.
The crowd cheered.
Cheif longbranches was tall, even for a treant. He was old too. Very old, but no one had ever defeated him before either. Great berries containing large nuts hung from his branches. The top of him was gold, like a tree. Two great branches made his arms, and thick trunks were his legs.
He let out a blood curdling war cry and charged Richard, bringing back his left Branch arm, to swing with the force of a catapult. He bent over greatly just to reach him.
OOC: One post equals one turn. One post is only ten seconds in length.

ooc: I suppose he is just like an Ent from LOTR?
IC: Richard stood there, practically a mouse compared to the enormous creature, with a smirk on his face. He had gone into this match only desiring to use his sword but wizard's fire would have ended this in the first go round. Oh well, this wouldn't be the first time he had done things the hard way.
Brilliant steel flashed against the firey orb in the sky as the Sword of Truth made its appearance in the match. The sword was like no other as it was practically impossible to break. It could withstand lightsabers and spells of all sorts including his own. It was a sword with an edge that could sear through man's flesh as if it was gliding through air. Nothing was safe from its bite and this Treant's arm was no different as Richard's sword was brought to bare against its arm to sever it.
Longbranches roared in pain. He tried to stomp on Richard.

He picked up his fallen branch, and Lumbered off.
"And the winner by way of submission, Richard Rahl!" The announcer called.
The Crowd cheered.
A few hours pass with more bouts. Some intense, some not, including one near death of a lower ranking member of the army, who was known for his foolishness and bad decisions. The Med team picked him up, and the Sorceress of healing stopped them. She layed her hands upon the nearly dead man, and put a slow regenration on him. She scribbled a few notes out, and then he was carted off to the hospital wing.
Then, the words flashed on the screen.
"Alir`ang of Seaquest, Vs. ???"

16-04-2006, 03:40
With a quick flap of his wings, Alir'ang glided down from where he waited to the arnea floor.
It was quite. Too Quiet. Then screams erupted from the back of the arena. The sounded like:
"Run For your Lives! Its Loose! Its Loose!"
Crashing, alot of crashing. Then banging on the door. They crash open, and reveal, nothing. Captian Biran, and leutinet Yenke rush and close the doors.
"Run for your life Strange visitor. A slypher has broken free of its cage, its in the Arena now! I was to be your oponet, but it is not safe!" Biran shouted as he closed the door. The crowd looked around nervously. Lady Ri-an simply erected a barrier.
"Alir'ang Vs. a Slypher!" Came the announcement.
Itt was in the arena. Miho and Richard could see it. It was creeping up behind alir`ang, invisible to all senses. Then it appeared, and with a scream, went to pounce on Alir`ang.
The Sorcerers meanwhile, looked for a way to aid Alir`ang.
SeaQuest
16-04-2006, 04:19
Draconian skin, while not indestructable, was quite strong. Alir'ang used this fact, while keeping his more fragile wing membranes clear, use his tail like a whip to strike the Slypher clinging to his back.
Miho had a worried look on her face, but both she and Sinclair know that Alir'ang was in his primal element now. A battle of predators, one evolved to sentience, the other not.
The Slypher whiped around to the front. It raised its front legs, moving from side to side on four of its legs.
It went to strike with its claws at Alir`ang's chest.
SeaQuest
16-04-2006, 07:36
By going for his belly scales, which are just as strong as scales on the rest of a Draconian, the Slypher had moved into a position where Alir'ang had the advantage.
He grabbed the creature in a full-on bear hug and began to squeeze. He squeezed as hard as his bulging muscles could allow. The pinned creature would either end up uncounsious from lack of air, have multiple broken bones, or some combination.
He allowed the two custom glands he had to secrete a drop of both of their bio-chemicals and then let the mix drip into the Slyper's eyes. Unless quickly washed out, it would be quite painful, disorienting, and blinding.
OOC: Hmm, haven't gone for any of the weak spots of a Draconian yet.
OOC: I don't know what they are, and nither does the slypher. This is a prime example of introducing one predator into another system. My ecosystem is balenced, but if Alir`ang and the rest of his kind were to move in, it would be destroyed.
IC:The Slypher screamed, and then went invisible. Invisible puts it out of sync with the rest of the world, thus allowing it to slip out of Alir`ang's arms and move away. It fell over, and it could be herd whimpering, invisible, while Alir`ang's chemicals did their work. The Slypher's regeneritive powers kicked in, and slowly worked it out. A few minuets later, it got up, amd wemt back to attacking.
Marill called out "Attack it with your claws. The only way to really kill a slypher is with a rapid series of strong powerful attacks."

Alir'ang's sentient mind barely heard Marill's shout. The non-sentient animal inside was beginning to come out.
He dropped to all fours and roared, with drops of flame dripping from his muzzle, while mantling his wings. Then, he met the Slypher in a full-on charge with his armored cranium lowered for ramming.
The Slypher jumped to slice at Alir`ang's wings.

Alir'ang ducked under the leap, but his wings still got a little tore up from the Slypher's claws.
The Slypher turnedn, and began racking at Alir`ang's side.

If Alir'ang hadn't been a Draconian, his sides might have been a weak spot. But he was, and they weren't.
With a quick twist, he swung his tail around like a whip around the Slypher's neck. He then moved to sit on it, literally.
OOC: Ri-an, you want me to TG you the weak points?
OOC: sure, you going offline anytime soon? we can finish this up quickly if you aren't.
IC: The Slypher went to the front, and went for Alir`ang's head, especially the head.

OOC: Sorry about the delay. I got called away unexpectedly.
Oh, and TG sent.
IC: Alir'ang back-peddled to get away, but one of the Slypher's claws got caught on one of his nasal flaps. Green blood dripped from the wound.
Flashing a grin full of razor sharp teeth, he jabbed his fore-talons for the creatures throat.
Regrettably, Slypher scale, was not as tough as Draconian scale, but it still offered resistance, so now the slypher's voice box was damaged. Purple blood dripped like acid, giving off a hiss as it touched the planet.
The Slypher went for the ears. The Acid dripped down the lenghth of his body, giving an edge to his attacks.

Alir'ang hissed in pain as the acidic blood started eating away and his ear was torn. He then activated the Wolverine style blades and growled as they slid from in between his knuckles. He began to jiggle his hand, which was still lodged in the Slypher's throat, deeper in. He was going after the creature's spine with the intent to either cut or break it into bits.
The Slypher went in deeper, going for the brain itself, for the blood to eat at Alir`angs brains. Of course, if Alir`ang managed to sever the Slypher's spine then it would die. It became a contest of wills. Who would reach their goal first?
It was, Alir`Ang The Slypher sbegan to glow bright, and burn greatly, and then, it was simply a pile of ash.
Lady Ri-an went to the Arena, and embraced Alir`ang. Despite his powerful claws, despite his hard scales, it would take far more to kill her. She let gentle tears roll down her cheeks, and onto Alir`ang. His body glowed with her power. And he was restored to whole. A little more experienced, but none the worse for the wear.

OOC: Now for some humor to lighten the mood.
IC: "Ehh," he said a little thickly, "I think I bit my tounge."
Sinclair snorted and Miho doubled over with laughter.
OOC: As my primary comp is being updated, I had to drag this one out of storage, my activity level may drop for the rest of the week.
All seemed well.
Lord Rahl was given the seed of a Tree, that when grown produces marvelous apples that aid in curing, and Alir`Ang was enchanted permanetly, to where offensive magick is less effective on him.
All was going well, when a Dark Shadow concealed the light of the Sun.
"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! So I see you have turned them against me as well." Came a frightful voice from the shadows all around them, yet no one was there.
"Testing them? making them stronger, for what? to oppose me? ME?! I CANNOT BE HARMED!!!" That same voice roared.
Lady Ri-an looked all around.
"Alir`ang. Do not argue with me. Go. Be with the others up there. This is for me to deal with alone." She said.
Then she turned towards a spot in the courtyard, where all the shadows were moving towards, and becoming one.
From it, The Shadowlord appeared. Only he wasn't in human form, and he was not in a business suit. He was the unimaginably horrible Shadow Creature from Ri-an Legends.
The Crowd panicked, and Ran.
The Dutiful announcer spoke up.
"Lady Ri-an, Ruler of The Theocracy of Ri-an, VS. The unimaginably horrible shadow creature!"
The Sun itself began to Darken. The Shadowlord was moving The Light itself, away from the Arena.

Alir'ang nodded and joined Miho, Sinclair, and the others in the stands after a few quick flaps of his wings.
There was a slight breeze, and a figure appeared in the shadows at the top of the stands.
OOC: The guy in the shadows is the one I TG'ed about. Can't let you have all the fun (send in some minions for the rest of us). But, if you decide not to, I'll leave him up there and intro him IC'ly later.
OOC: I don't think I got the part about him. But if its minons you want....
IC:
The Shadowlord smiled. He looked at the two groups and the sorcerers in the stands.
"Now Pay the Price for Blasphemy against the Shadow." He said.
He pointed at the ground. His Black Death rose sprang through the ground, to his hand. He sniffed it. Then threw it down. Its poisonus gas spread. It twisted, and from it,came great horrible creatures.
"I am Hatred. I shall consume all that is diffrent and all that is new. Ye who are new to this world. I hunger for you greatly." Said one that looked like a Gigantic spider.
"I am Vengence. Mercy is weakness. Compassion is a Flaw. You are enemies of The Shadow. You must be destroyed." Said a Fearsome Warrior.
"I am Greed. You have powers that are not yet my own. From your Dead Bodies, i shall take them." Said a large monster.
The next one was the worst of them all. It said things that were so horrible, the very sound of the words destroyed the arena.
Hatred made its way to Alir`ang. Vengence leaped upon Rahl. Greed leaped upon the Sorcerers. And The Last one, which indeed was as indescribable as his master, turned upon the mysterious Stranger, taking him to the Far lands Avresh, on the other side of the world.

"A spider," laughed Alir'ang, "come on. All I need now is a giant can of Raid."
He dove at the spider's right legs in an attempt to sever them with his still extended Wolverine style extra claws.

Fujin (http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g166/The_Illuminati_Orb/Character%20Pics/Fujin_Armageddon.png) stared at his opponent from the spot he had arrived in Avresh at.
"Be aware," he said as he dropped to a fighting stance, "that by choosing to fight me, you have effectively sealed your fate.
"Now, this is going to hurt you more than it is me."
After saying that and with another burst of wind, he leaped at his opponent with a compressed ball of air around his fist that would strike with the force of a sonic boom's shock wave.

What Alir`ang did not know, was that all Shadow Generals could become Shadows as much as their master. He went straight through the spider. Hatred in turn, picked up Alir`ang and began wrapping him up in webbing.

"I am the unnamed Sin. My fate was decided before even the first second of time ticked by. Being killed by you in fifteen minuets is not going to change that. My task now, is to simply keep you away from Lady Ri-an. Which I will do admirably, because as soon as you set foot near that battle, while I still yet draw breath, you shall surely die." Said The Shadowlord's right hand servant, still weak from long centuries of Slumber.
Then it started speaking other words. Magick words. But these words were the type that cannot be written down in any language, only spoken. These words became solid, and then became three swords flying at Fujin.

The fierce warrior met a defensive wall of air thrown up by Richard at the last moment. "My my aren't we the direct one. If you'll just stay there, I will show you something never seen before." He reached into one of his leather pouches and pulled out white sand and began laying it out in a circle around him.
"Cara! I need you!"
Cara was probably the only one in the audience that had not left at seeing the spectacle. In fact she was running down to the railing and vaulting over it by the time Richard called out for her. "I am here Lord Rahl."
"Play with him for just a moment Cara while I finish this."
Richard began drawing pentagrams within the circle while Cara flicked her Agiel up into her wrist.
"Heh, kill me as you will, you are not the chosen one to destroy me." Vebgence said. Then he became a Shadow, just as much as Shadowlord, and slipped around to another Shadow behind Richard. Vengence was far more intelligent and capable then a Treant.
He swung hard, and he swung his sword for Richard.

What Alir`ang did not know, was that all Shadow Generals could become Shadows as much as their master. He went straight through the spider. Hatred in turn, picked up Alir`ang and began wrapping him up in webbing.
Alir'ang secreted some of the fire producing chemicals and sprayed the mixture on the webbing at the same time he began cutting with the now fully extended Wolverine style claws on both hands.
"I am the unnamed Sin. My fate was decided before even the first second of time ticked by. Being killed by you in fifteen minuets is not going to change that. Then it started speaking other words. Magick words. But these words were the type that cannot be written down in any language, only spoken. These words became solid, and then became three swords flying at Fujin.
The first missed altogether, the second sliced his cheek, and the third lopped off the end of his ponytail. Fujin landed and looked at the chunk of his hair lying on the ground. With a quick adjustment of the wind, he had called it to his hand and put it into his pocket.
"This is going to be an interesting battle."
After saying that, he began spinning around and around, faster and faster. Soon, he wound up at the core of a genuine tornedo(sp?), which he launched at the Shadowlord's minion.
He then staggered for a split second due to the fact he was out of practice in making them that way.
"So. You are a wind entity." Said Shadow Servant.
He began speaking more magick, after nimbly dodging the tornado. A massive fist of stone appeared and trapped Fujin in its grasp. A sword appeared and began to swing to chop Fujin's head off.
Meanwhile the Spider's forearm came down like massive club on Alir'angs head.
Vengence, Hatred, And Greed activated their essence.
Hatred poured into everyone's hearts like a waterfall.
Who were these ri-an's to invite them to their world, and let them fall into danger? For that matter, why should the other delegation's be trusted?
It was inexcusable. Destroy the Shadow, and the others. The could not be forgiven for such a tresspass. Yes, Vengence must be had. For the events that have passed, they must be destroyed.
And this world, so pure, so much potential. its resources were hardly tapped. It must be taken afterwards. The inhabitants would make good workers.
These thoughts, these feelings, permeated the air, and silently, unbidden, began to creep into the minds of the visitors.
It was not a physical one, but it was powerful all the same.
OOC: All servants can be beaten back by those they face.

He swung hard, and he swung his sword for Richard.
Richard deftly altered his sheath so that it would meet the Shadow's blade as he continued to finish his drawing. "Cara I thought I told you to take care of this for a moment."
"My apologies Lord Rahl, it seems he does not wish to engage me." Cara vaulted over the circle to stand before the shadow with Agiel in hand and ready for a fight.
Venhence gripped his sword, it began to glow, and a second later, he was holding two swords. He vaulted, and had one going for Rahl's back, one for Cara's back.

Cara flipped back to dodge the blade though she was now well out of range for a counter-attack.
Richard on the other hand, made no move to block the blade coming at his back. A pillar of golden light leaped up all around him and encirlced the war wizard. No darkness could penetrate the pillar without great strength and will.
A mere step in a great spell being cast. Richard sat down cross legged on the dirt.
Vengence decided to go after Cara. He threw both swords at her. one for her head, one at her chest.
