Conrad, feeling decidedly bored, wondered where the others were, as he walked around the hotel, looking at various shops, restaurants, and other places. He thought back to the little tour of the desert, and shuddered a bit as he thought of what it might be like if any of those got loose.

"I will have the steak and a root beer. Also I want a baked potato. So are you pretty much amazed by this stuff." Mike looked out the window to seeing the incoming storm.

"Yeah, give me some pasta, to go." When Rick got his food he started to ho to his room. "Mike, I'll see you later man." Rick got to his room and ate. Then he chilled for a little bit.

Mike sliently ate. He saw Kristine. She had a natural beauty that he liked. While eating he thought about his days back in the war with Nick and Steven. Mostly about Nick who he promised he would get him home. He did but in a casket. After finishing eating he went outside and started to cry.

As the rain began to fall, Eric and Arnold hid in the shrub around the road that lead to the security center. Soon enough, rangers were driving by, trying to get out of the soaking wet rain. They both waited for the last car to pass by before they came out, pretending to be wounded.
The two rangers came out to assist them, only to have their throats slit in the process. The pair stashed the bodies in the bushes. They then took their handguns, and took out the TLA bands from their pockets, wrapping them around their heads.
They then hijacked the jeep, and drove it to the power station.
"For the cause."
They both said in union before stepping out and into the power station. Walking into anywhere full of Tocrowkians with a head band baring the letters TLA was the same of doing the same with Americans by walking into a room with an Al-Queada head band. A firefight began instantly, which Eric and Arnold one simply due to the surprise, and the fact there were only five guards in the area. They then took the explosives out of their backpacks, and planted them by the generators, using their watches as timers. They set the Liquid explosives to five minutes before they calmly walked out of the building and drove off into the night. After the allotted time, the power station burst into flames and the entire island was plunged into darkness...

Mike turned around and saw the lights go out. He went back inside and tried to look for someone.
"What the hell happend?"

Nikolai was shaving when suddenly the lights faded. He fumbled around in the dark looking for something to help him see. After a few minutes his eyes adjusted and he found a small flash light on his bedside table. He flicked it on. The beam pierced the darkness. He could hear running and talking outside in the hallway. Power outage. Typical in an electrical storm.

Rick noticed the power went out. He was instantly nervous. If just one of the bigger carnivores got out, it would be a disaster. Rick calmed himself down. He listened to music and played some games, but he couldn't shake the image of the male Tyrannosaurus staring at him out of his mind. "I hope that thing dosen't get out."
Ed was caugth mid-stride when the lights went out. He looked around, nothing was on. The room was dark. He instantly realized what this could mean if it wasnt fixed soon. Still looking around, he took the flashlight out of his pocket.
"Anybody know where Odel is?" he asked, "He should know whats going on."
Conrad had stopped on the staircase, fumbling for something in his backpack when suddenly everything went black. He opened and closed his eyes, but it was the same either way. Power outage. Great. he thought, sitting down on the steps.
He could faintly hear some raindrops begin to spatter around, and he tentatively went further up, before stopping on the landing. Muttering, he clicked on his flashlight, watching the faint beam as he slowly navigated the dark halls and stairs. Reaching his room, he flopped on the bed, and sighed, looking out the window at the slight drizzle hitting the glass.

Odel turned on a few battery-powered lights in the lobby. He picked up his walky-talky and spoke into it.
"Power, who the hell is up down there?"
He asked. No reply. He repeated a few times, and still no reply. He then turned to the guests. "Looks like we've suffered a minor power outage, folks. Not to worry! I'm sure the boys down in power are fixing it..."
He said a bit too reassuringly.
By now, Ed had gone to the lobby, in time to hear the tail end of Odel's statement. How minor... he thought.
"Yeah, just to be safe, you know, shouldnt we get up to one of the upper floors?"
Thinking as he said it, he realized he should go to his room and get his pack. While he had most of his stuff in his pockets, a few pairs of clothes wouldnt hurt if they had to stay somewhere else.
Conrad had tried a couple times to turn on the lights, but to no avail. He suddenly wondered if the dinosaur systems and such were out.
That would be bad. Very bad. He thought, suddenly wondering just what kind of predators, scavengers, and carnivorous beasts were on this island...

Rick walked down to the lobby to see other guests. Odel was there, and he seemed frustrated. "Hmm, seems to be just like him." Rick thought. He was still wondering what was going on. Hopefully, erverything would go safe. That's when he heard a roar. It was the Tyrannosaurus' roar. It was still far away and hard to hear, but he heard it. And it sent a chill down his spine.

"Everyone. Up stairs...I'll check in with the security center. Every thing is alright..."
Odel said, a bit shocked after hearing the rex's roar. He took out his .45 ACP and cocked it.
"Kristine, stay here. Watch them."
He said as he walked out into the pouring rain.

"Uhh, what exactly is he doing? With that gun, he won't be able to take out anything! We should find away to get off of this place! Those dinosaurs will get out!"
Conrad walked into the lobby from the staircase, flashing his light around the room.
He saw the group huddled, but someone was missing...
"Where's Odel?" He asked.
"Odel!" Ed yelled after the ranger, then looked back at Kristine "Do something! If something is out there... He wont be of any help if he's dead." As he heard himself speak, the tone of his voice got to him. He was almost yelling.
After calming down, he said, "Heh, maybe I just watch too much TV.", with a smile.

Nikolai spoke to the ranger "Are there back up systems to keep the electricity going?" In a accented English. People began to panic around him. Nikolai looked around the lobby. There were several large windows and the wide front doors. The rain was falling even harder know and thunder roared. I hope that was thunder. Nikolai thought to himself.

"There is no need to panic."
Kristine said, she her self pulling out her .45
"Please, if everyone would return to their rooms, it would help alot."
She continued, ushering everyone into their rooms.

Mike ran back inside and back to his room. He locked the door and took out his GPS. Mike turned it on to see where the dinosaurs were located.
Conrad turned to go up the stairs, but turned at the last moment.
"Um, in case the dinosaurs break out... Is there any sort of armory, or something like that?" He asked tentatively. The thought of being trapped on an island with prehistoric beasts without any sort of protection was a bit unnerving...

"Of course."
Kristine replied.
"But civillians aren't allowed to use them...now please, back to your room."

"Kristine, do you have anyway of tracking the dinosaurs? Because if they're getting out, we need to know if they're coming here. And unless you've got rockets or other heavy weapons, you won't stop a large therapod."

"No more questions. Get back to your room."
She said sharply, turning away. Just then, Odel strolled in through the pouring rain, followed by a group of rangers and the other staff at the security center. He still held out his handgun.
"We've suffered a terrorist attack, it seems. Get everyone back out here."
He said seriously.

Mike looked outside and closed his door. He didn't really care what they said. Mike wanted to find out what the hell was happening. Walking slowly down the stairs Mike made his way to the lobby. Wondering what to do next he walked around the hotel.
Conrad opened his door, and dropped his flashlight on the nightstand. He could just barely hear it fall off, but a torrent of rain smashing into the windows drove that out of his mind.
Screw this rain... Screw this poweroutage... Screw everthing, he thought wearily, as a faint roar came from somewhere out there.

Rick returned to his room. He tried to keep calm. Then he heard the Tyrannosaurs' roar again. It was closer than ever. Now he was scared. He packed his things. Then he went down and found Kristine and Odel. "Kristine, Odel, I assume your radios work? Call a helicopter. I've found everything I need, and I'm getting the hell off of this island before I die."
