Chapter 1: Gelectriax and the Girl – Jenrak’s only heir is kidnapped! (Open)
Alledrias was, by Jenrakian standards, nothing but a little girl, born into the womb of a royal family, long dead and almost forgotten by the people they once served. The darkness of the Skreimmen masters throbbing in her veins, her bloodline more ancient and older than half of the monuments in the world, she is only but a rash, quick tongued, bratty little girl. Raised up in the court of her guardian, the loving and caring Elnias Illuminaatrix, she was taught the ways of the Jenrakian court, to be strong, to be healthy, wealthy, and beautiful.
She was groomed to be the best from the finest makeup money can buy, to grow in the tier of swordsmanship and hand-to-hand combat – once more, the best the country could buy. For the cost, it took to protect her, to help her grow up, to have her proficient in the courts of the Jenrakian Lords, it would be cheaper to buy out a small country entirely. But there was nothing too much, nor too expensive, nor too ravishing for Alledrias. She was pampered in every way, and she spent what would be an entire years’ worth of cash from an average person in a single day. Spoiled, she was taught it to be right. However, beneath the pearly eyes, the gold gilds and the pale blonde hair, Alledrias never knew her father, and was never told anything of Arcarum Dreskisk, the late king of Jenrak, a man who had considerate power in the court.
No matter how infamous Arcarum was, his memory would be kept quiet in Elnias’ eyes. Going to an insane length of threats, torture, bribery and manipulation, Illuminaatrix kept Alley, Alledrias, in the dark of her blood father. He didn’t want this girl to rise to power in blood and bone, war and havoc, as did every other king in Jenrak rose to power, and Illuminaatrix himself. Aided by the Jenrakian courts, Alledrias grew to become a quick witted girl, and on the day of her coronation, she would be declared the imminent Queen of Jenrak, the ruler of a colony of evil. Illuminaatrix’s dream of raising Alledrias in an environment where she never knew her father, was about to come true. Yet there were some, however, whom believed this faint little girl deserved to know the betterment of her father – only to keep a legacy of violence in check…
In the Necromarnen Chamber
“Stop fussing, dear Alledrias.” The woman said, putting a beautiful, glowing golden dress on top of a pale skinned, thick eye lashed girl, heavy lipstick skilfully placed upon her lips. “You will never get to the ball like this, and people get tired of waiting.” The woman said, as the little girl scoffed in disbelief.
“I’m important, and they will wait, as long as I want them to.” The girl replied, her hands flocking her to hair, straightening it out carefully, as she moaned in boredom. “I’m hungry, get me some chocolate.” She said, as the women shook their heads in disbelief.
“Now, now, Alledrias. You don’t want to spoil your appetite before the banquet, do you?” The woman said, to the nodding approval of the others. Alledrias, once again, only scoffed annoyingly once more.
“Shut your mouth, woman. I could have you arrested.” She said angrily, her seven year old hand slapping the woman in the face, as the others ignored the humiliating attack. “Now, get my dress ready, because I will be late! Can’t you do anything right?” She asked again, her anger rising.
“I’m sorry, great Mistress. I will do what is asked until my hands are bleeding, and my eyes are dried.” The woman said, only hoping to quell the spoiled child’s anger. “I am nearly done.”
“Bleed all you want, servant, but if you get a single drop of blood on this, then you will not see daylight for decades. I will have Elnias imprison your family if I want.” Alledrias said, her voice high pitched and screeching.
“Dear Alledrias, that is not the way to speak to a guardian.” The woman replied, shaking her head slightly. Alledrias, sadly enough, didn’t wade her verbal attacks.
Outside, a company of soldiers stood in a complete resonance, their feet apart equally to the millimetre, their arms kept in the perfect angle, their gaze in a perfect square. The marching of their were slightly heard across the room, the marble floor only slightly chattering from their feet, falling to the ground in a perfect pattern, the quiet of the chambers echoing nothing but an eerie silence. As the soldiers walked about in the daft stone hallways, the marble floors reflecting their march, a lone figure, dark and creeping, was lurking above the arcs of the ceiling, his presence kept a secret by the quiet shadowy darkness cast upon by the heat of the sunlight.
Wind only blew across the floor, sandy corners creeping of mice and bone. The figure only looked carefully, holding onto the intricate designs on the ceiling, waiting for the perfect moment, watching the soldiers march back and forth, carrying their weapons, glistening new in the sunlight. None of them spoke a single word, uttered a single syllable at all, not even when a small pebble fell from the feet of the clinging figure, and fell noisily onto the marble floor, its distant click echoing in the hallway.
Looking up in exact symmetry, the soldiers only lifted their rifles at the spot where the pebble fell, but before they could pull the sleek metal triggers, the figure fell from the shadowy glimpses of the darkness, and pounced, landing on a soldier’s shoulders, clawed gauntlets emerging from his hands, the first slicing into the soldier’s skull. Blood gushed out into the warm atmosphere, the sand thick with the gushing liquid, red mud strewn across the marble floor of the stone hallways, the soldiers turning in a swift circle to fire at the figure, now standing skill fully on the tips of the fallen soldier’s flooding brains, his remains falling into pieces onto the floor.
Leaping into the air once more, the figure disappeared into the darkness of the ceiling’s shadows, gunfire ringing out about from the soldiers as they shot in every corner, unloaded lead into every single inch of the darkness, yet no corpse fell unto them from above. From a recently fire spot, the figure emerged once more, pouncing onto the body of another soldier, the others aiming quickly at the sneaking predator, but they were once more again too slow. Ripping the unfortunate man’s limbs apart, the soldiers were beaten apart as the mysterious being pummelled them with a ferocity never seen before, blood spraying everywhere as he turned the arms and the legs of the soldiers into clubs and maces.
Gruesome yelling and shrieking of pain was heard, and finally, in a swift move, they were felled, their bodies slumping down in parts, their heads ripped across to adorn the beautiful walls, their blood becoming puddles on the floor, as if a new rainfall were to happen within the castle. Blood on his helmet, stone scraped by his clawed gauntlets, his armour bouncing off the light as it slithered through a slit of his robe, the figure only knocked on the door. The women heard the ruckus, and assumed the soldiers triumphed gracefully over the intruder.
“What happened in – “ The woman started, until she saw the figure, his red robes torn and ragged, his clawed gloves and his gauntlets shining with blood and his face emotionless from behind the shadows cast over by his darkened helmet. “Who-who are you?” She asked, nervous as she heard the annoying, piercing voice of Alledrias reek over.
“Is it the soldiers, woman?” Alledrias asked. “Tell them to not make a mess.” She yelled again, as the woman only shook in fright, pressing the button on her bracelet, a ringing tone throughout the castle. The man grabbed her by the face, smashed her head through the thick wooden door, and sliced her throat on the cracked splinters. Alledrias stood up in anger, still in her golden gilded dress, her stare at the figure unnerving, as the women stood there in fear, crawling back. “Illuminaatrix will kill you soon enough, and we will see how you like being my pet, you interloper.” She said with an air of confidence.
“Illuminaatrix is my pet, Alledrias, as you are.” The man running to Alledrias, as she ran to the drawer, and pulled out a gun, letting go of the trigger, firing at the figure. In a quick show of swiftness, the man leaped up into the air, threw into the wall behind Alledrias a golden spear, and using the metal rope connected from the end of the spear to his armour beneath the robes on his arms, he leaped with unbelievable speed, and grabbed Alledrias on the way. “You are only a few years old, and yet you can fire a gun. What has that man been teaching you?” He said, covering Alledrias’ mouth with a dirty rag. “It’s not gold, but it’s better than death.” He cackled, as the soldiers burst into the room.
“Sorry, boys.” He said, amidst the gunfire, shooting out two more spears, skewering two of the women in the process, one of them holding a note on the end of the weapon. Flinging himself out of the massive window, the glass shattering into the eyes of the dying, blood splattered on it’s ends, he was gone – Alledrias was tied up with him. All that was left, however, was a note written delicately. There was no ransom written on it, no threats nor any revelations connected to Alledrias whatsoever. All it said was:
Guess where I am. I am in a chapel. Guess where I am.
~~Gelectriax of the Revenant
IPJ News
”…and that is how, a dog poisoned his owner.” A red haired, attractive female reporter said, her reporting partner only nodding as he looked vainly into the television camera. “We have received an urgent news, that Alledrias Dreskisk, daughter of the former King Arcarum and soon to be titled Queen, has been kidnapped by a marauding team. Witnesses say it was a battalion of troops, and that Watcher Illuminaatrix is sending this message.”
The screen began to be a bit fuzzy, as the static gargled up the view. Soon enough, an official looking man, his hair slicked back in a corporate style cut, his face clean shaven and his eyes sincere and his voice strong, came on with a clear look.
”On behalf of Watcher Illuminaatrix and the Jenrakian government. Anybody who can bring back Alledrias Dreskisk will be paid 500 million dollars in cash, and the gratitude of Jenrak.” He said, holding up a picture of Alledrias, a tall, beautiful girl in pale blonde hair and with a brilliant white smile.
Illuminaatrix only sat in his chair, looking out at the dark night, wondering on what that single note meant. Guess where I am. In a chapel. Guess where I am. Obviously, he is in a chapel, but which chapel? Hundreds of thousands of chapels dot Jenrak’s sandy landscape, and if he were to take the time to find them all, then perhaps Gelectriax would have escaped, and done to Alledrias whatever his sick mind wanted.
In a chapel…
Edward Teach was watching international news aboard his schooner, the Queen Anne's Revenge II as he was playing with a knife, that if it slipped even by an inch would likely slice of a finger at the very least. Edward, or as he prefered to be called when not on buisness Eddie, got up and tossed the knife off-handed into a post as he headed to the bridge. Once there, he set course for Jenrak.
Princess Cordelia, Ali's mother, was picking fruit in the garden at her palace in the colony of Eborall when a servant came rushing out and told her about the news. "Thats horrible," she exclaimed as she dropped the bucket of fruit, "What is my son doing now?" she asked though the servant didn't know.
She quickly hurried in side with the servant in tow and made her way to the communications room beneath the palace. Once there, she immediately tried to contact Ali through all possible means, but came up short as his phone and ear piece were off.

Private Investigator, Thomas Finch was sitting on a long Alexandrian Ptolemais Airways flight, returning to Ptolemais from Coconut City in the North. As he was reading the newspaper, his eye glanced upon news of the royal kidnap. As soon as he landed at West Ptolemais International, he immediately spoke to a conviently located travel agent. Excitedly, he asked the travel agent "Is there any possibility of travelling from here to Jenrac?" To which the travel agent responded in the affirmative and proceeded to give him a lengthy ticket. "It will take you 37 hours to get there in five flights, I hope you can handle it."
Finch boarded flight AP537, back north to Plantation City, the first stop on his trip to Jenrac.
"Yeh, well if he does I don't think we will need to pry or trick it out of him," Ali commented, "He most likely wouldn't have a reason to hide it."
"I agree, but Illuminaatrix did come to power by murder and sabotage. If he is hiding something, he could be very well involved in this crime." Denise replied.
"He may not be involved, but he might know something or have a lead." Ricardo stated.
"A 500 million dollar prize for the safe return of Alledrias Dreskisk. That's alot of money for the return of a single person, but I'm surprised Illuminaatrix didn't just put the prize to a couple billion." She said to Ricardo. "Are you a proficient shooter?" She asked him curiously.
In the tower of Zarazego
Atop the glittering spires and the prancing metal beams, the twisted precipice of Zarazego only loomed above the city of Haasdra, its darkness covering the lands, the people bustling in its massive shadow. There, in his glory, stood Illuminaatrix, the tall, thinly clad robed man, the Watcher, who stood on the throne, looking for its rightful owner. His eyes red with the tiring kiss of drowsiness upon him, his fingers cold and frigid from the lofty heights of the windy tower.
“Where are you, Alledrias?” He asked once more, until a creepy, awning voice came behind him.
“She’s safe. Don’t worry. I’m surprised. I though you would increase the size of the bounty for her.” The voice said, revealing to be the red robed, bloodied helmeted Gelectriax, standing imperiously behind Elnias, his dark covered face emotionless and his body still as newly broken stone. Daft air around him seemed to give a pungent smell, as smell of rotting corpses, as if he was in contact with the dead recently. “You surprised, Elnias.” He replied, “Nobody would seem as dark as you.”
“What are you doing here, Lord Gelectriax, and where is Alledrias?” He asked, his hand slightly near his sword like sceptre, gold and ravishing in the bright sunlight.
“Don’t draw your weapon against me, boy. I know more than you.” He said, angrily, before turning around. “Meet me in a chapel. Understand?” He said, before walking down the hundreds of stairs.
As Illuminaatrix turned and prepared himself, the mysterious Gelectriax disappeared, this time, without a single clue.

"Where is Selene?" She asked, looking around.
“Back there with Persephone.” said Edward. “It looks like they’re on the phone with their lords.” He smiled because Ali and Ricardo would not know what the lords were.
"I agree, but Illuminaatrix did come to power by murder and sabotage. If he is hiding something, he could be very well involved in this crime." Denise replied.
“You are correct on that, Denise.” said Edward. “I saw it myself. If somebody needs to talk to Eln, it will be me.”
Ali felt slightly odd as he stood there. It was clear that Edward knew much about the history and personality of Jenrak as a whole, while Ali knew little other than what he had learned in his short stay there. "So... what's the plan?" he asked.
Snake Eaters

The man whistled softly as he looked at the picture on the front cover of the Snake City Times. The news of the kidnap of Alledrias had spread far and wide very quickly, making front-page news across the nation. He reached out, sipping at his apple tea sat on the table in front of him. He raised his hand in the air,"Waiter, bill please."
He paid and, having stood and folded the paper under his arm, left the cafe a a brisk pace. He walked a few yards down the road, then thought better of his actions, flagging a taxi,"Airport, please. And be quick, there's a fifty dollar tip in it for you."
Within a few hours, he was standing overlooking the sea, a cigarette between his thin fingers. He sucked on the filter, inhaling the smoke and breathing it out through his nose. The red-hot tip flared in the dimming light, drawing the attention of the person walking towards him. The newcomer leaned on the railings,"Nice evening, isn't it? Almost good for a celebration"
The Snake Eater took the cigarette from his mouth, cursing slightly as the wind blew it out. He took a lighter from his pocket, flicking at the wheel and trying to start the flame. He looked over,"Almost."
"You need a hand?"
"Sure."
The Jenrak man cupped his hand around the lighter, helping shield the flicking yellow flame from the gust of wind that whistled past them. Once the cigarette was relit, the Snake Eater smiled slightly,"Hey, you couldn't tell me the best way to get into town?"
"The 46 bus leaves from just down the road in five minutes."
Satisfied with this answer, the Snake Eater offered his hand,"Glad to meet you."
The handshake was brief, but firm,"Seconded. Now, let's get out of the open."
*Five minutes later*
"... so that's the basic gist of the whole damn thing."
"What are the demands, if any?"
"None, as of yet. Do you think that some would have been issued?"
"If they haven't been by now, they don't intend to keep her alive. Not for long, anyway. Killing her now would be counter-productive, and foolish in the extreme. It would spark national outrage, and also cause an even bigger manhunt than is already going on. Is there anyway to contact the royal household?"
"I can try and get you in, get an audience. You sure you want to offer your services?"
"Why not? Half a million dollars is not something you pass up in my profession. Plus, it would reduce my expenses slightly if I can get them to supply me with intel and weaponry."
"I thought it was half a billion?"
"I don't intend to keep all the money. You know my reputation better than that."
The other man nodded in the dim light from the lamp,"Alright... in the morning then. First thing. Now, hit the hay. It's going to be difficult to do, but I'll find a way. I always do."
*Next morning*
"This man has an appointment with Elnias Illuminaatrix."
ooc: did you mean half a billion or was that on purpose that he said half a million?

OOC: Done on purpose. And edited the post to make it more obvious.
...
"Of course. Go ahead, Edward." Denise replied. "That reminds me, I have to get in touch with Ashili soon. Perhaps she can supply some forces." She then turned to Ali, whom was left in the dark, as well as Ricardo.
“Well, Mr. Ali, I’m going to go figure out what Illuminaatrix knows, and then I’ll see if he co-operates. If not, then I’ll be damned if I let him go easily. But first, I need Ricardo,” She said, staring at him, “to get in touch with Rashkta Nirandu. Don’t show any signs of fear against her men, cause they will skin you alive and turn you into a lampshade.” Turning to Ali, she said strongly, and quickly, “I’m going to have to get some information on this ‘Gelectriax’ person. Can you ask Viraranaar? I presume you’ve met him already. He’s at home, in the dungeon of the Necromarnen Castle.” And after that, she was off, headed to Illuminaatrix’s chambers.
It was a brief, dusty, sand-swept morning, as always, the prickling cold air only slightly staying when the hot summer heat pierced into their rooms, the glass making the once frigid air warm and humid. Sitting in his seat in the throne room, looking out the window at the bustling city below him at his feet, Illuminaatrix was given a direct one on his telephone, as his secretary nudged him on.
“There’s a man who wants to see you, Elnias.” The woman said, her voice casual and monotone as always.
“Whom?” Illuminaatrix said carefully, a slight touch of uncertainty cutting through his voice.
“No idea, but he has an appointment scheduled.”
“Is he armed?” Illuminaatrix asked.
“Not by the looks of it.”
“Get the guards ready, and tell him to meet me in the lower sanctum. I’ll be there in a few minutes.”
Unknown Chapel
“Let me go! I demand you to let me go!” Alledrias cried, struggling with her ragged mouth piece now covering her eyes, but other than that, seemingly unharmed. “I’ll have Elnias cut you up into pieces!” She yelled once more, as the familiar clawed hand and the dark armored figure gently pushed her along, her hands and her feet chained gruesomely together.
“Don’t struggle.” The figure said coolly. “It only makes your binding worse, and you don’t want cold metal chains to feel like fire, now do you?” He asked, a slight tone of annoyance in his voice.
“Bastard! You eight tongued bastard from Ikrimm!” She yelled again, and the figure kept walking, a small group of legions, darkly clad in black armor and carrying heavy long sleek rifles followed behind. “You bastard!” She yelled again.
Finally, the figure reached the end of the church’s massive preaching hall, and he hung her upside-down at the end, on a noose that wrapped around her feet, the harsh rope cutting her soft skin – already it was a pungent blood red. “Perhaps if you hung around like this for a few hours you would understand the situation.” Gelectriax replied.
The girl, Alledrias, heard his voice, knew where he was, and she sat at his face, which was conveniently covered by his helmet.
“Keep an eye on her.” He told his soldiers. “Never let her out of your site. If she stops moving, take her down. If she tries to run for the door, paralyze her. Nothing is too good for this little princess.” He said maniacally.
"I will get right on it," Ali replied, happy that she had found a way for him to help. "I guess I will see you guys later after I speak with Viraranaar," he said as he bid the group good bye and headed out of the main room.
After exiting the party, his guards, who had been waiting outside, flanked him on either side. Concerned for his safety due to the recent abduction of Jenrak's heir, they were all on edge and scanned the area as they walked.
They walked down the hall, shoes clicking on the marble floors as they went, and made there way to a stair case. Following Ali, the guard descended the staircase behind him and made the long trip down to the dungeons. Once there they began searching for Viraranaar...
Ricardo waited near Denise. He was wondering what info Illuminaatrix would spill when braced.
Aboard the QAR II
Meanwhile Eddie pulled his ship into the harbour of the city nearest Jenrak's capital and prepared to set off to see about what info he could get that might help him find the little sprog that had a reward of a great deal of money on her head.

“Ash is here somewhere.” said Edward as he looked around. “Remy, find your aunt and tell her that Denise needs to met with her.”
“Yes, Uncle.” said Remy before taking off from the group. He began looking for Ashili.
Seeing that Denise took off, Edward followed before her. “If Eln has anything to do with this, I’m ripping his heart out with my bare hands.” said Edward, low enough for only Denise to hear.
OOC: DMG, you don’t need to get a cab. Ali is at the Necromarnen Castle. So head towards the dungeon.

Thomas Finch finally landed in Jenrak, after five very eventful flights. The only thing missing however was his all important suitcase with his useful investigatory tools, which had somehow been mishandled by baggage handlers two flights before. "Oh well," he stated, "I'll just have to make do with what I have in my carry on and my trench-coat." Like any good private investigator, he always carried a pencil and note book in his standard trench-coat.
Finch caught a taxi and proceeded to Necromarnen Castle, and started to investigate. The first thing that caught his detective eye was a fingerprint on one of the castle walls. He dusted it, and took a photograph of the fingerprint. As he was doing that, he noticed a piece of a red garment, and carefully took a tweezer and lifted it into a bag. Each and every clue Finch found was carefully treated in their unique way, until thirty-nine clues had been found.
He was however displeased when he realised, "It's too late, had I been here sooner, we could have brought dogs to search the trail of the missing Queen, oh well, these clues will have to make do." As he was muttering this to himself, Elnias Illuminaatrix walked by and started speaking to Finch. Illuminaatrix offered Finch reasonable accomodation in a nearby hotel, to which Finch agreed, and he proceeded for the night.
However, inside the hotel, while watching television, he noticed that Illuminaatrix looked different. Finch angrily realised that he had been hallucinating and that the Illuminaatrix he had been speaking to was not there. "Oh well," he stated, "I'd be best to go to sleep", which he proceeded to do.

Ali walked the dark dungeon halls with his squad of guards. "Viraranaar?" he called out through the silence trying to find him. "Its me Ali..." he called again as it echoed off the hard walls, "I need to talk to you."
"Who is it?" He aske,d brandishing his spearlike staff carefully in his hands.
OOC: Alexandrian Ptolemais, did you just take control of my guy? I'm shocked.
"It's me..." Ali replied, "Ali." Realizing that they had only had a brief encounter of an hour or so, Ali decided to remind him of who he was. "You picked me up from the airp-- ...er... you introduced me to Denise," he said, not wanting to demean what he had done to a simple taxi job. "I wanted to ask you about Alledrias and see if you had any information about her abduction..." he continued as he continued walking in the dungeon until he found Viraranaar standing with a staff in hand.
ooc: lol, I think he did Jenrak. And its amazing that he found 39 pieces of evidence... most crime scenes don't have 39 pieces, let a lone one masterminded by someone as skilled as Gelectriax. And a finger print too! I only hope it didn't belong to Gelectriax, who was wearing gauntlets...
OOC: Well, I’m not to go insane, but I’ll wait until he changes his post. The only evidence found is the note, nothing else. Other than possibly the metal shavings from the end of the spear, or the rust from the copper blades when he began his skewering rage, but that’s not going to help.
IC:
“Alright, sorry about that.” Viraranaar said, the drops of sweat pouring down his dark mask, the spear in his hand still held strongly, yet his grip lightened all the while. “Its dangerous in these situation. We can’t risk your danger. If you become harmed or killed, then it could damage to both our nations.” He said strongly.
“This Gelectriax person is pretty odd, risking his life to take Alledrias, and then note put down his demands. To risk his life in such a dangerous opportunity and not put down demands is insane.”
Ali gave a nervous chuckle trying to make some light of the situation, "Trust me... I am not the valuable to my nation. While they would get mad and go looking for me... it wouldn't be anything like what I have seen so far..."
"I agree," Ali replied, "He must have been pretty confident that he would succeed in his attempt... and unfortunately he was right. Though, if there is no ransom involved, there has got to be something to it... perhaps he just likes the thrill of knowing that he is capable of taking the future queen and sending the nation into a panic... I don't know," Ali said as he was pretty much saying whatever came to mind at this point.
"So anyway," Ali said bringing himself back from his thoughts, "You don't know anything at all?" he asked disappointed.
“Sadly not. But I can check up the references of past names. Gelectriax sounds extremely familiar. I might be able to break this blasted riddle if I understand who this captor is.” He said, heading for the library.
Unknown Location
Gelectriax only looked out the drifty window, the glass fogging up nastily. “What a lovely day.” He choked out in laughter, as Alledrias sat there on a rotting chair, her face beaten and her left eye bruised. A small red cut on her pale arms was healing, but she still had the nasty wounds. A burnt symbol on her left hand, she cried as the symbol healed, her hand showing the insignia of a helmet identical to Gelectriax’s, a snake protruding from its left eye.
“Dear, dear Alledrias. If you weren’t such a spoiled brat, I wouldn’t have hurt you, understand?” He said, as the girl whimpered. Only slightly turning, he chuckled. “Fear is a dangerous tool that you can use, but you can never let it backfire against you.” He yelled, the walls shaking.
“Even the walls are afraid of me. Isn’t that convenient?” He moved closer, so his face was only a few millimetres away from hers, the tip of his helmet nearly touching her nose. “You don’t know your father, do you?” He snickered, as Alledrias gathered up the courage.
“Bastard.” She said, before another quick swipe from Gelectriax’s bare hand knocked her off her chair, as she laid there, bleeding.
“You’re stronger than that, girl.” He said, walking away, leaving her behind in her concussion.
"Should we go inquire if Illuminaatrix knows anything?" Ricardo asked of Denise.
Eddie Teach arrived at the gates of the Necromarnen Castle, dressed in a cliche'd black trench-coat and fedora. Lifting a hand, he knocked on the gate.
"Let's go." Denise said.
The turrets readied at him, preparing to fire. A mechanic voice, automous and monotone, replied. "You wil need to get a vouch or a passcard. Otherwise, leave." It only said, before keeping its locks on his chest.

"Lead on." He replied as he was unsure where the man would be found.
"And how would I get a passcard or vouch?" He asked as he watched the turrets.
"Lead on." He replied as he was unsure where the man would be found.
"And how would I get a passcard or vouch?" He asked as he watched the turrets.
"Alright." Denise said, heading towards the topmost parts of the castle, the usual spot for Illuminaatrix in his spare time.
"I am not to answer that." It merely said, monotonous and automated as usual.
"Alright." Denise said, heading towards the topmost parts of the castle, the usual spot for Illuminaatrix in his spare time.
"I am not to answer that." It merely said, monotonous and automated as usual.
Ricardo followed Denise's lead to Illuminaatrix's suspected location.
"Then are you able to answer concerning where I could speak with someone who would be able to answer my question, with a positive, where the person is not inside the castle, but within the city?" He asked, being careful to word the question correctly to get the answer he wanted.
"I am not able to answer." The machine said once more, the turrets beginning to fire. "Please move...." But then, it fired down, as a pale blonde haired woman, tall and beautiful, a cold, satire expression and dark, evil piercing eyes opened the door, blood on her fingers and a burnt sword in her left hand.
"Come in, but be quiet." She said, tired. "Some of us are trying to sleep in this damp light." She turned around and walked away, groaning.
"Illuminaatrix!" She yelled in the large chamber, as the familiar Watcher stood there, still as stone at the window. "We have questions." She said strongly.
"What do you want?" Illuminaatrix only asked, not even turning around.

Eddie smiled as he was let in by the blonde haired woman, "Thank you m'lady." He said as he entered, "Thought I must apologise for disturbing your sleep." He then headed to the castle proper.
"We wish to know any thing you might know of this Gelectriax and where he might be." Ricardo said
"Nothing more than you do, I'm afraid." Illuminaatrix said, his voice cool and calm.
“Sadly not. But I can check up the references of past names. Gelectriax sounds extremely familiar. I might be able to break this blasted riddle if I understand who this captor is.” He said, heading for the library.
"Alright," Ali replied, "Well I am coming with you then." He quickly turned and followed behind Viraranaar on their way up to the library; his guard in tow.
"Nothing more than you do, I'm afraid." Illuminaatrix said, his voice cool and calm.
"So no tidbits, no fragments, nothing?" Ricardo asked
Eddie Teach continued to walk across the grounds of the larger than expected castle as he headed to it's front gate.

OOC: Damn phone line problems again. Couldn’t get on all day yesterday. So…I will jump up to where you are at.
IC: The room where Denise, Eln and Ricardo got cold. It was almost freezing in that one room. Your breath could be seen that is how cold it is. And Edward was not playing around this time, he was mad.
Edward walked into the room followed by his sister, Persephone and Remy. “But are you telling the truth?” asked the Prince of Ice.
...
“If there’s any evidence of this Gelectriax on former names, then perhaps we can find information. It doesn’t seem like a normal Jenrakian name, and the way it is spelt shows some sort of aristocracy.” Viraranaar said, hurried.
...
"Nothing, at all." He said, clearly hiding something, but his soft and cool voice hid only a slight chance of mistake in his tone - a tense little quiver of a lie brushing past shadows of a calm attitude.
...
"Edward, I'd prefer it if you don't freeze this damn room. I'm not the only Jenrakian in here." He pointed to Denise, who stood still in defiance of Illuminaatrix's words.
"I'm not cold." She said strongly.
"Of course you are. You just have too much pride to show it." He snickered. Turning back to Edward, he said with the same aura of confidence.
Unknown Chapel
“Here is some food, if you want.” He said, throwing to her a bowl of chicken, steaming in the heat, parts of it chewed already.
Alledrias crawled forwards, as Gelectriax stood in disgust. “Stand up!” He yelled to her imperiously, and she obeyed, getting up, and walking over to her food, ignoring the fork and knife, grabbing it viciously with her hands. She only gulped down two large bites, before he lost his temper and grabbed her right hand, and held it behind her back.
“If you are to eat without them,” he pointed to the fork and knife, laid strewn, “Then eat like an animal! You don’t need any fingers if you plan to eat like an animal. The wolf chews his food with his mouth, the snake swallows the egg. And you will do so if you are to lower yourself like them!” He said, throwing her harshly to the ground, her blood pouring from her neck.
Gelectriax cackled manically, his voice ringing with an eerie echo that harrowed through the halls, corroding it with its presence. “Twist a finger, twist and crack,” He said in a sing-song voice, as he grabbed Alledrias’ left hand and twisted her ring finger, the blood bursting and her white bone showing through the remains of torn skin. The loud cracking was heard, and it only deafened by her scream of pain, as she tried to pull away, but it was of no use – this man was too strong. She was only a little girl.
“Twist your pinky,” Gelectriax said again in his little chant, twisting her smallest finger, as she screamed in pain as the blood burst through the thinning skin and the bone snapped in half. “Twist your pinky, break you hand!” He said, punching her left hand squarely in the palm, her bones cracking all at once. A scream of pain and torrent was muffled by the blood searing from her hand and her mouth, as Gelectriax lifted her up by her hair, and talked into her face, as she cried.
“If you are going to eat, then eat like a queen – not an animal.” He said, a dark fervour in his voice, as he dropped onto the floor and walked out of the room, leaving her to crawl to the bowl, and cut the chicken, and eat it, only with her right hand, her left hand swollen and cracked in pieces.
“If there’s any evidence of this Gelectriax on former names, then perhaps we can find information. It doesn’t seem like a normal Jenrakian name, and the way it is spelt shows some sort of aristocracy.” Viraranaar said, hurried.
"Doesn't sound like a normal Jenrakian name?" Ali repeated, "What do you mean?" he asked as they hurried to the library to look up his name.
“Normal Jenrakian names are fairly recognisable by standards. For example, internationally Michael in a common Jenrakian name would be Mikez. It’s fairly simple. However, there is no name that can connect to Gelectriax, and based on its elaborate design, its possibly an aristocratic name – The longer the name, the higher the chance of aristocracy."
"I see..." Ali said slowly though he wasn't sure he really did understand.
"Perhaps it isn't his real name?" he suggested after a moments thought, "You know... like a pseudonym or maybe it has some significance."
"I see..." Ali said slowly though he wasn't sure he really did understand.
"Perhaps it isn't his real name?" he suggested after a moments thought, "You know... like a pseudonym or maybe it has some significance."
"I'm thinking along those lines, as well." He said, entering a large, massive room full of books and videos, lined along golden laces of shelves, as far as the eye could see.
"There's the computer." He pointed to a large conglomeration of monitors. "The computer system tracks every single person who enters and leaves Jenrakian space." Viraranaar said.
"Woh, that's pretty cool," Ali said as he saw the computer and all of its screens. "I think the Dominion has something like this... but we don't employ it in Eborall," he commented as they walked over to it.
"So... does it compile a report on everyone?" he asked curiously, wondering if it had done so for him.
Viraranaar chuckled. Typing it in, Ali's picture showed up - the exact picture of him entering Viraranaar into the library only a few minutes ago. "Says you have been in Jenrak for almost a week. 4 Days, 3 hours, 21 minutes and seconds are ticking." He said, taking a look, as it compiled information on Ali, showing even the foods he's eaten at certain points, and more illustrous information.
"It's pointless to know these things, but amusing at the same time." Viraranaar joked.
"Very amusing..." Ali chuckled as he read the report:
As he met with the lady Denise, the two got involved in a sword fight. While both combtants made blows to the other, Denise ended up the victor as she knocked Ali was to the ground and he was unable to continue... (continued)
"Hey... it should give me a little more credit than that," he said jokingly, "I'm no soldier..."
"How amusing," Viraranaar said, turning the screen to the finding port, and searched for Gelectriax. Expecting nothing, he was surprised when he found something.
"Here we are. Gelectriax. Hmmm, that's not right. Soemthing must be wrong with this file." He said, checking closer.
"That's impossible."
"What... what is it!" he said, voice getting louder as he did. He was filled with a rush of adrenaline as he felt they were on to something in the mysterious abduction. "Did you find out who he is?" he asked quickly and rather excitedly.
"Of course. But he - " He corrected himself, "they, existed thousands of years ago. Since the end of the Lirrogun era. Around 300 BC this Gelectriax was last seen. I can't find any more recent information on this kidnap." Viraranaar said, confused.
"What is going on?" He looked closer, trying to find the real Gelectriax. "Let's try the cameras." He replied.
"So are you saying that the real Gelectriax is dead... or are you saying that he has been in hiding for centuries?" Ali asked nervously as either answer would be quite unsettling.
"See if you can do an IQ on his face in the computer compared to him when he kidnapped the queen..." Ali suggested not knowing if his face had been seen on the video.
"Apparently, so." He said, becoming uneasy. "I'll try and zoom on his face." He said, replaying the gruesome attack, as the lone figure leaped into the room, and abducted Alledrias with perfect finesse. As he zoomed in, and froze the frames ot slow pace, he couldn't see a single glimpse of his face. "This man's face is covered by his damn helmet."
"I'm going to try a heat signature on him." He said, changing the screens to show the signatures, but to no avail. He was as cold as Ice, his body apparently a navy blue blotch. "Damn. I'd try to use Alledrias' signature, but she was near too many people at the time." He cursed heavily again in Jenrakian, and he thought carefully.
Looking back at the information on Gelectriax, Viraranaar found a distinctly startling piece of information on the what looked like the former man.
...given to the name of the one who controls the Vizi'Lords' Revenant, Gelectriax, more infamously titled Gelectriax the Wicked, this mysterious figure was known to often disappear after large events, sundering both Ascherach and Karbulazk into chaos. Although Jenrak has yet to encounter this romantic villain, it was highly known that Illuminaatrix highly followed the teachings of the Lords' Revenant, and could possibly be the only known member in the dying guild...
"That bastard. Illuminaatrix knows about this kidnap, and he's keeping quiet." He said, in surprise. "Let's go." Viraranaar told Ali, headed towards the higher parts of the castle.
Ali cringed as he watched the man so easily kill the guards... and so gruesomely.
He scanned over the words twice to make sure he had read it correctly before running after Viraranaar who was already on his way up to the top. He began taking stairs three at a time as he hurried to catch up to him. Shortly after Viraranaar, Ali arrived at Illuminaatrix's room.
Illuminaatrix was already having a hard time keeping up with the verbal attacks. He was tired of the rude comments by Denise already, and Edward's frigid cold. His temper rose immediately when he saw Viraranaar enter, stomping on the icy floor, and Ali behind him.
"What do you want?" Illuminaatrix asked impatiently.
Before Ali knew what he was doing, he was repeating the words they had read on the database. "Gelectriax is given to the name of the one who controls the Vizi'Lords' Revenant, Gelectriax, more infamously titled Gelectriax the Wicked, this mysterious figure was known to often disappear after large events, sundering both Ascherach and Karbulazk into chaos. Although Jenrak has yet to encounter this romantic villain, it was highly known that Illuminaatrix highly followed the teachings of the Lords' Revenant, and could possibly be the only known member in the dying guild..." he said emphasizing the last part about Illuminaatrix.
"You know something!" he accused.
"I admit, I followed the ancient teachings of Gelectriax the Wicked, but I know nothing of this recent kidnapping." He said, his voice calm and cool.
"Well there is obviously a connection if you are possibly that last remaining follower of his teachings, and then a man claiming to be Gelectriax steals the Queen from right under your nose," Ali said.
Illuminaatrix sighed. Succumbing, he said, "Alright, you know what? I give in. I'm caught. I'm not a follower - I'm a council leader in the Vizi-Lords' Revenant. I work under Gelectriax, he is my leader. He was Nahk's leader, Saerus' leader, even Arcarum's leader - but none of them were in the Revenant." Illuminaatrix sighed.
"But I was honest, when I said that I had no connection, nor idea of Alledrias' kidnapping. This is something Gelectriax never told me." He said, sitting still as ice.
Ali now eyed him suspiciously due to the newly learned information about Illuminaatrix's allegiances. "So you are telling us you work under him... and you want us to believe that you had no idea?" he said skeptically. "The note was obviously left to you... it wouldn't have any meaning to anybody else," Ali said. "So tell us what you know or think..."
"I know nothing that runs through his head. He speaks in riddles, only talks clearly to those whom meet him in person. He controls everywhere in Jenrak. The moment you step into our boundaries, you are in danger of becoming his puppet - you are in danger of doing what he wants. I worked under him, but he doesn't tell me anything. The other council Lords feel the same denial of information." Illuminaatrix sighed.
"I think our only answer to finding Alledrias is in the note. He won't give us another clue. I doubt even he has infinite patience - if we take too long, Alledrias could possibly die." Illuminaatrix said sadly, his voice content and sincere. "This man's wickedness knows no bounds."
"If you are so concerned for the Queen's well being while she is in the presence of this man," Ali said, "Why did you not come out right with the information about being his puppet?" he said, emphasizing the last word.
"Because Alledrias is not the only ones in danger of this man. I'm a victim as well, and the moment I give information on the Revenant, I'm labelled as dead. What point is there in dying when you can keep secret, live and help the one affected? Or would you rather have had him killed me, and my death split Jenrak up immediately?" He asked, his voice charismatic and strong.
"Liar!" Viraranaar yelled. "You know that Alledrias could bring things back!" He said, but Illuminaatrix only snickered.
"She's barely hit puberty, Viraranaar. And Gelectriax sees everything." Illuminaatrix said, before a small arrow flung past them onto Illuminaatrix's desk, only a few millimeters away from his hand. Opening the attached note, he only shook his head slightly, as etched in blood, it only said:
You're right. I do.

"Of course you are. You just have too much pride to show it." He snickered. Turning back to Edward, he said with the same aura of confidence.
“Can’t control it right now.” said Edward, in cold evil sounding voice. Edward and the others would be gone in few minutes, so nobody would become human ice cubes. “This whole thing has pissed me off, Eln.” He walked closer to Eln. “And your smell is all over it. I have a feeling you want to remain in control and want the girl to disappear.”
“And it will never happen again, if we find her alive.” said Edward. “Because I’m going to take her in my care. Because you can’t even stop somebody from taking her in the first place.” He growl through his teeth, thinking of what that sicko is doing to her right now.
“She will be raised by Denise under the watchful eyes of the Dominion.” said Edward. “That is, if we find her first.” Edward turned his back to Eln and heads toward the door…
I do.
The arrow flew by Edward as he head towards the door. “So…you are part of this.” said Edward. “What was the clue he left you again?”
"Well he is obviously playing a game with you," Ali said as he read the note. "Taunting you... showing how weak you are... how you can't protecte anybody, not even yourself."
"If you are going to help... than do something rather than coop yourself up here," Ali continued. "First think... why would he want to take the Queen if it wasn't for ransom and if it wasn't to kill her?"
"Like I said, I don't know what he's thinking." Illuminaatrix said, nodding. "Our best chance is to decipher the note." He said, pulling out a copy of it from his desk. "Guess where I am. In a chapel. Guess where I am."
Unknown Chapel
"Welcome to the Garden of Eden." Gelectriax said mockingly, as a skinny, pale, bruised skinned Alledrias, far different from her one soft and tender skin, her slightly plump form, and her beauty - this one was an Alledrias who looked more like a slave than a queen. In chains, she only walked beside him carefully, eyeing his gauntlets in fear, which were notorious for holding his bloodied hatchets and claws.
In this room, a pile of hanging corpses, rotting with a putrid smell, only decorated it maniacally "You'll be staying here for the rest of your time. You've earned my respect, Alledrias. I won't kill you, but don't expect any mercy. Stay here, nothing more. It's dangerous outside." He said, leaving the room with a cackle.

“Well…Mr. Ali, Gelectriax has Jenrak by its balls. He has the power with the Queen in his hands.” said Edward, his right hand on the pistol. Then he said the words ‘Guess where I am. In a chapel. Guess where I am.’ through his head.
"In...a...chapel. That's where he is. Ina Chapel. It's a remote place in Ssessloth. I suggest we go there - it's our only lead." Illuminaatrix suggested.
"Well you would know best," Ali said though it was almost mockingly. "If he is as all powerful as you suggest... shouldn't we bring a heavy guard of some kind. If he is indeed there... it could easily be a trap and he has the upper hand knowing we are coming."
The Transylvania

“Correct, Mr. Ali, that is why Eln is to watch by all of us. If it is a trap, Eln is a dead man.” said Edward. His mutant powers in check, the room return back to normal. “Vira, you up to saving your Queen?” he asked.
"I suggest we lay seige, but that could kill Alledrias should she be inside. It's a risky proposition." Illuminaatrix said. "I think we should bring an army, as large and powerful as possible. It would certainly help our chances." He said.
To Edward's response, Viraranaar only chuckled. "To save a spoiled little princess? I will never let the chance pass me. Spoiled or not, I'm bound by soul and blood to be her servant."

“Will you just shut the fuck up, Eln.” yelled Edward. He drew his pistol and send a round into Eln’s desk. He had been wanting to do that for a long time. “You knew about this and didn‘t stop it.”
He looked over at Vira, his face. “Well…we have to do this quietly.” said Edward.
Then he looked over at Denise, “You think you can keep Eln under control or should we kill him here?” he asked.
That is a sad thought, Ali thought as he listened to Viraranaar.
"Or perhaps you could go in and talk with him... see what he wants," Ali suggested to Illuminaatrix. "I doubt he would care if we brought an army or ten thousand armies... He will most likely be prepared one way or another to get himself out of it."
"Elnias is a member of this Revenant. If the puppet is controlled by his master, then he can tear the strings away, and bleed his master's fingers." Denise said, carefully. "I suggest we go with force. Even if he gets away, he could be seriously damaged." But as she said that, another note flung past her and onto the desk, revealing itself to say:
Alledrias is in my palms. Come without an army, or Jenrak will lose both its and its muscle.
"Crap." Viraranaar cursed crudely. "That's our only option. No matter what, an army can't help us. Eln." He said, turning to the sighing Illuminaatrix. "You're coming with us."

He looked at his family members and Selene’s female lover. “Denise? Vira?” he asked. “And if we bring Eln, somebody is going to have to watch him.”
"Hey, hey, hey... don't forget about Ali," Ali said, "I am coming too... ...I just need a weapon."
"Oh yes, I'm a very sneaky man." Illuminaatrix said sarcastically, as Denise tasered him violently in the back. "Sorry Eln, but that's for your own good." She said, as a telephone call rang in his office.
"Hello? Oh, Ashili. What do you want?" Viraranaar asked, as he nodded. "Okay, I guess." He said, putting the phone down. Nodding to Edward, "Your wife's coming. There's nothing I can do to stop her." He said, his voice flat and monotone.
"Let's just go, and quick, shall we? We can hit Naharank Castle in an hour, and then up to Ina in a few minutes."
"Here." Denise threw to Ali, a long tipped gun. "It works, nothing to it. Or you can take a sword on the way out if you want." She pointed to the large bevy of swords.
"Well are we taking him with us or not?" Ali said as he took a few steps towards the unconscious form of Illuminaatrix. "And I still need a weapon... I didn't know I would end up rescuing a Queen and I left mine in my other suit," he said sarcastically.
"Thanks," he said as he caught it. "I think I will take one of each..." he commented as he eyed the swords.

“Hell…I can’t stop that too.” said Edward to Denise about his wife. “I will take my private modified RAH-66 Comanche. The cockpit has the same sun blocking windows as my cars have.” he said. “It is the hanger with Selene’s modified UH-60 Black Hawk.”
Without saying anything else, Edward took off heading towards the hanger. Followed by Selene, Persephone, and Remy.
"Have your pick." Denise said, headed to her own helicopters, as Viraranaar powerfully slumped the unconscious Illuminaatrix over his shoulder.

Edward, Selene, Persephone, and Remy made it to the hanger first. Edward hopped in the cockpit of his Comanche, it had a black paint job with gray spider webs on it. He started powering it up as Remy hopped in the co-pilot chair, where the weapons can be fired from.
Selene and Persephone hopped in the smoke gray Black Hawk. “We got some room.” said Selene. “Enough to six others.” Selene began to start the helicopter up.
"We're coming." Denise said, as the others followed behind.

"Well climb in already," Ali said as he adjusted the gun and sword between his legs. "We got enough to fit four more," he commented as he looked at the four empty seats beside himself and Ricardo.
"Okay, but let's keep things shrewd." She said.
"Trust me I will be," Ali smirked. "I would rather not die on this trip..." he said jokingly, though it was the truth also.
Ricardo had followed the others, thought he was still slightly confused as to what the plan was, and what was going on exactly.
After banging on the front door didn't produce a resonse, Eddie headed around the back. Seeing a group of people headed toward a helicopter, he walked over and asked, "Who's in charge here?"

"Well, I guess then Illuminaatrix will be awake, and we'll convince him to go and distract Gelectriax while we look for Alledrias. If this Gelectriax is as omniscient as he leads us to believe, then he will probably use Alledrias as a protection against us."
"Yeh... that is what I was assuming," Ali commented, "Probably keep her near him so we can't attack him without potenially killing her..."

OOC: Alexandrian Ptolemais, did you just take control of my guy? I'm shocked.
OOC: Sorry, didn't mean to. Just really to close the post up. Either way, it was very minor and would not effect the plot. However, I will edit it once this post is done, just to fix it up and keep everyone happy. You'll find out about the 39 pieces of evidence in this post.
IC: After being in the hotel room for forty-eight hours, Finch received his baggage and proceeded to do testing of the evidence. He began with piece of red fabric. It turned out that it was not from Gelectriax, but instead from his own red tie which had ripped as he had secretly entered the castle. As the long night drew on, he throughly examined the evidence, only to find that most of it was useless, including what had seemed to be a perfect fingerprint. Only two of his thirty-nine pieces of evidence were at all genuine, and they were miniscule as to be of no help. His own mind started to doubt his ability to be a private investigator, especially since he was famous throughout the Empire for his investigations. Finch decided to take a walk to calm down.
As he walked, he found himself in a helicopter hangar, and seeing a group of people. He decided to stand back and wait.

Through the radio of Selene’s Black Hawk came Edward’s voice. “If the sicko wants to keep Alley near him, it will be hard for him to do that. Major General Max Kane is heading towards Denise’s castle.” said Edward.
"Why would that be hard?" Ali asked curiously as he heard Edward's voice through the radio. "It seems simple and strategic to do. Bind her and hold her in front of him or put a weapon to her head... seems like it would be easy... but I am not trained in the ways of battle, so I might be mistaken."

"That's why I came here, of course the reward monies don't hurt." Eddie said, "Oh, and the name's Edward Teach."
"Alright." Ricardo agreed.
Viraranaar had a cynical tone, sighing as well. "I can understand how someone can too." He said, sarcastically.
"Well, no point in wasting time. We have to get there...now." Denise urged, climbing into the chopper, Viraranaar following behind.

“The money was to find her not rescue her, I think.” said Selene. “Well, Mr. Teach, I’m Princess Selene Darkholme-Annirak. My late husband’s title of Gold Patriarch became mine after his death.” She smiled to herself and said to herself in her mind. And the Headmistress of the Annirak Mafia.
She pointed to Edward’s copter, “My brother, Prince Edward Darkholme, is somewhat in charge of this little mission.” she said. Seeing that everybody was in her copter and the message sent through her radio in her ear form her brother to enter the sky, “Keep all hands and feet inside the vehicle.” she said on the radio to her passengers.
Edward’s copter head out of the hanger first followed by Selene’s copter. Both copters heading towards Denise’s house.
"To think, I almost didn't recognise the most beautiful Selene Darkholme-Annirak." Eddie replied, "It is an honour to meet you, thought the pictures do not do you justice."
"Yes, very nice." Viraranaar said, obviously bored. Cursed people and their flattery. How dare they act appropriate in a time of crisis around the opposite sex.

"They're coming." Gelectriax said, watching the video, as the men finished out their carvings, the floor delicately and intimately carved, and the wall even more so. "That's alright now." He said to his legions, as they nodded. "Alledrias, are you ready to see your beloved uncle, die?" He asked the girl, as she was thin and dirty, a burlap sack tied over her head, her wrists bleeding from the rough rope around her hands.
"But once he dies, the others will get a surprise. A very, interesting, surprise." He chuckled, eying Selene with an insane cackle, as he left the room of corpses and went into another.

“Some of them do.” she said. “And don’t think I’m going to date you because you are acting that way with me. The only person I loved is dead now.” She continued piloting her copter. Edward’s copter was in the front and to the right of her copter.
The ride was a short one as both copters were nearing Densie’s tower. Edward’s copter lands in the driveway. Selene’s copter touch down about 100 yards behind her brothers. “Densie, get whatever you need and armed who ever needs to be armed.” said Selene.
Edward hopped out of his copter in his trademark long coat and head toward a black and gray camo Mi-35 Hind E helicopter. The symbol of the Shadow Foxes (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y101/CountJWolf/16th.jpg) on both sides of this copter. Plus…a man who looks like bodybuilding wearing set of Transylvanian body armor (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y101/CountJWolf/TransylvanianBA.jpg) that matched the copter. He had two inch claws that formed from his fingernails. And two inch fangs, two on his upper teeth and two on his lower teeth. His black long hair blew in the air. This man was Major General Max Kane, a mutant with a cool power. He can teleport by propelling himself out of synch with reality and then realigning with our plane of existence at a different point of space.
"I would expect nothing less." Eddie replied, "I would not presume to intrude upon your love life, m'lady." He added with a florid bow.
Ali remained in the chopper as they reached Denise's "tower" as he mentally prepared himself for what was to come. He was not used to battle or combat and wondered how well he would perform under that much pressure...

Finch wanted to invite himself to this mission to rescue the Queen, but being the polite man he was, he decided that he would not join on the mission. Anyway, after seeing the might of the people on board, he had realised that they had already figured out where the Queen was and was on their way to rescue her. "The investigation part of the job is done," he muttered. "I am not trained in military things anyway, I only became a Private Eye to escape the draft. I always hated bloodshed."
However, as he started to walk from the hangar, a sense of adventure gripped him and as the chopper climbed away, he clutched onto it, hoping that he might after all be of use. He patiently waited for his instructions.
He was now on his way to hopeful glory and perhaps even fame.
"There's nothing special about my house. It has a big driveway, nothing else. It burned down a while ago, but the reason was unknown." She said, not remembering that she was the one who had burned it down, when the sword of Arkthary had taken hold of her once before. Her eyes glazed over, Viraranaar only snapped, but to no avail.
"Useless. We won't have her attention for a while. Let's pick this man up and get to the fighting." He said, impatient.
"Agreed," Ali commented as he too was getting impatient, though it was more due to anxiety than a battle mentality that Virarnaar seemed to have. "I hope the few of us here are going to be enough... what if he has more people than just himself?"

Waiting for Edward to brief Kane, Persephone jumped out of her door on her side of the copter. She reached under her seat and pulled out a black bag. “Can’t fight in dress as good as Selene can. So…I’m going to change.” she said.
She pulled a pair of tight black pant and put them on under her dress. Next she pulled the dress over her head, reliving her body and her blue bra. She had the same type of body as Selene does but with brown hair not pink hair. She put on tight fitting gray tank top on. She put on a pair black combat looking boots next. Then put on her belt with the hostlers to her pistols.
Placing the dress and her fancy shoes into the bag, she put it back under her seat. She hopped back in and took her seat, waiting for Edward to finish up with Kane.

After briefing Kane, Edward heads back to his copter. All three copters entered the air after a few seconds. Heading to a place called the Naharank Castle.
"Agreed," Ali commented as he too was getting impatient, though it was more due to anxiety than a battle mentality that Virarnaar seemed to have. "I hope the few of us here are going to be enough... what if he has more people than just himself?"
"A logically apt question, and now I understand why Illuminaatrix is so astute on bringing an army." Viraranaar said.

Persephone looked back at Vira. “Got any idea why we are heading to Naharank Castle first?” she asked. “Edward wants to know.”
Ali couldn't help but notice Persephone pulling off her dress and changing into more battle acceptable clothing. He realized he was still in his suit and was hardly prepared to fight in it, but as they left into the air again, he had no other choice.
ooc: sorry I forgot, but are they bringing an army (I thought not)?
"To pick up Major Kane, I believe. We need all the help we can get. But then again, if we could beat Enkur, then we can take on this Gelectriax character. I just only hope it never turned out like the Arkthary attack. That, wasn't the easiest thing to cross."
OOC: I don't think they are. I think they're applying its too risky to. If there's a large force knocking on his doorstep, they think Gelectriax might get desperate and kill Alledrias all together, making the trip pointless.

“Kane was at Denise’ tower.” said Persephone. “Maybe we are picking up Ashili at Naharank Castle.” The copters continued on their path to Naharank Castle.
OOC: It was only Kane and his two pilots in Hind.
"Okay, well perhaps things are as easy to deduct, then." Viraranaar said in a heap.

The three helicopters continued on their path. After about a hour or so, the small fleet of helicopters neared Naharank Castle. Edward’s copter touched down first in open spot near the castle. The Black Hawk and Hind E touched down a few second later.
Edward scanned the area around the castle for his lovely wife.
Finding Ashili was not difficult task, as she often sat in the courtyard, glasses eschewed on her face, as her eyes scanned from left and right of the diaries of Herrissian Karbulia, an ancient diary which she received a small while ago from her adopted father, the recluse priest Zavuun of Ouridna. In her occasional clothes – a typical red t-shirt, a thin bracelet like band of cotton around her neck, jeans as her pants and her hands gloved – Ashili only heard the roaring of the helicopters nearby blast, the gushing sound of dust flying about her precious garden, her hair thrown about in chaos as she tried to readjust it, slightly frowning.
As one of the last of the Akromancers, she never aged, never looked a day older than the day she was bitten. Slightly pale, but becoming well, Ashili never had a fondness for salty water, as it was highly acidic to her smooth and fragile skin. Walking into the front of her castle, the heavily armoured, large behemoth that was the capital landmark of Naharank, Ashili only crossed her arms in curiosity. “What’s going on?” She asked, her face in slight scepticism.

Edward walked up behind her. Damn he is fast one. “Going to rescue the Queen.” he whispered in her ear. He looked up at his men, who were there to guard his and Ashili’s home. “Up to it?”
"Alright. I'm coming as well." She said, snapping her fingers, waiting for a servant to come along. Soon enough, in a few minutes, he came, a thin and wheezing man, and she handed him her book. "Estra Noquist." She commanded, as he nodded.
A few more minutes, and the same man came back with a long black rifle, and her trademark sword, the familiar golden hilt touched by the shady steel. "Are we going there now?"

“Yes.” said Edward, who kissed his wife. “There is room for you on Selene’s helicopter or you can get onto Kane’s Hind E.” With that done, he head back to his helicopter.
"Alright, let's go." She said, following Edward's directions, going to Selene's helicopter. As she reached it, she climbed on, and sat there, quietly.
"Sorry... I didn't catch your name," Ali said as Ashili entered the helicopter and sat nearly across from him.
Ashili held out her hand to shake his, in a professional, corporate manner that befit her title. "Ashili Darkholme at your service." She said, nodding.
Viraranaar, in his cynicism once more, piped up. "Ashili is a General; the Red Matriarch." He said, tired.
"Sounds important," he said as he looked to Viraranaar. He then reached out his hand to meet the lady's. "Ali," he said introducing himself.
"Rightly so at you." She said, letting go after a small while. "So what are you here for? The money?" She asked.
"Oh no..." Ali replied. "Money isn't important to me. I just happened to be around when she was kidnapped... and here I am now," Ali explained, though he realized his story didn't sound that 'normal'.

The helicopter entered the sky again. The transport helicopter stayed close to each other but Edward stay far in front of them. It would take them now that long to get to Ina Chapel. Edward knew right where is was located because he has study everything about Jenrak after he married Ashili, about eight years ago.
“Gentlemen and ladies.” came Edward’s voice in both helicopters. “I want you all to keep a clear head down there. Watch each other’s back.” He paused for few seconds. “This is going to be strange mission for some of you.” He knew those would know who he was talking about. “For some of you, this will be a normal one.”
“The first thing is to find the Queen. Then get her out safe and sound.” said Edward. “This mission will not fail. But if it did, Jenrak would be sent back into the chaos it was seven years ago. That is all.”

For Finch, it seemed that he may after all have a part to play in this mission, as he clutched onto the Black Hawk. Finch had eyes like a hawk and was known throughout the Empire for seeing the smallest detail from a considerable distance. His major problem was what did this Ina Chapel look like, did it look like a chapel from back home, a chapel from the nations of old, or was it a different chapel.

OOC: I hope that is your Hind you are talking about. Because for Finch to be with us, he would have got on to Selene's Black Hawk. There was one last seat in the back for Ashili, so Finch was left in the hanger.
And the Hind was not in the hanger with the other copters, it was at Denise's father's old tower.
Ricardo sat there and pondered what might happen.
Meanwhile Eddie looked over at the new arrival, and spoke, "Hello fair lady, it is a pleasure to meet you." He was a truely rougish man and an irrascable flirt.
"Nice to meet you too, kind sir." She said, in a strong professional manner. Unlike the many aristocrats and nobles that dotted Jenrak's lands, Ashili was the most level headed of them all, next to cynical Viraranaar and possibly logistician Authaulus.
Ina Chapel
He only stood faintly in the billowing dust, collecting in the rays of the Ssessloth sunlight, the water dripping from his sweat permeating on the very fabric of his cloak, his robe, his red slit of clothing underneath the creeping, rusting armor. Darkness of the moonlight on the surface, the mountainous shadows cast over the gripping sound of the rumbling far off. Somebody was coming, and he knew it. He knew from the fresh tale of the blood smelt on their fingers, the hearing of his many ears rattling through the sands, for every sound was his. Every single little peep and every single little sketch of noise was his, and his only. Nobody who steps within the borders are not his, and he would keep it that way. But there were people who would not approve of him in such power, and he had his revenge. In a daring attack, he kidnapped Alledrias, the pretentious, spoiled, snot-driven queen of the desert lands. An entire nation in the fate and the grasp of a seven year old girl who never tasted even the slightest lick of poverty, of suffering, or pain.
But Gelectriax would make her see. He showed her pain, he showed her desperation, death, poverty and real power on the scales of reality – through torture, humiliation, and through the stripping of her title of heir to the throne of bone. Yet whatever he did, there was somebody out there who did not enjoy his motives, whom did not understand the tenacity and the skill he had in formulating these ideas of ‘reconciliation’. First Vaazka from the camps, then the challenge of Arnalia the compassionate herself, to the times of Arcarum, the independent mind of Sadicistra. He was, with all regards, under pressure to take this girl, and now his own pet had bared fangs against him. Against all warnings, Gelectriax had to go through with the humiliating prospect of Illuminaatrix sending out amounts of cash towards anybody who would be able to fight him off.
“A hollow view of the world is their only view.” Gelectriax murmured, his voice quiet, creeping and hollow, his fingers crackling in the brisk moonlight, the haunting of Ina chapel in the dark distance the final grip in which he needed to regain control. Perhaps he could insane, perhaps he could be taking an extreme, but to Gelectriax, he never cared about what society thought. He only cared about the status of society itself – and he did it through murder, blackmail, torture and dilapidation, the only methods of how he works.
Fingers crackling once more, his bronze fingers clicking about in the airy night, sand billowing up into his robes. Shaking slightly, Gelectriax only sipped through his helmet a slight dip of blood, in the green marble-like cup clanging in the eerie silence, only the slight sounds heard. “They are taking their time.” Gelectriax replied, nodding, still standing atop the balcony of the Ina Chapel, standing in silence, waiting quietly, as Alledrias sat down beside him, chained in her ripped and torn robes, her hands bleeding, wrists red. Only carefully bleeding, she chaffed in pain towards the grimace of his laughter, and she winced at his slight shakes of anticipation. The fight, should rescue come, will be at night.
Should he stay faithful, Illuminaatrix would certainly aid Gelectriax in defeating these insults to Jenrakian blood, otherwise he would have to fight them himself, and great Enkur forbid his fighting – he has not fought in years, never since the ethnologists that ravaged the lands in their sharp quick-witted tongues. However, if Illuminaatrix certainly did betray Gelectriax and his wishes, then at least the dogs will not go hungry.
OOC: For the almighty 'just in case' factor, a bump is good.
"Might I ask what you do for a living?" Eddie asked with a smile.
"I work in the government. Nothing special." Ashili said, smiling back. Viraranaar once more, opened his cynical mouth.
"Ah, I see. So if being a Matriarch, not of all, a Reddek class Matriarch, is not an accomplishment at someone your age, then may I ask what is?" Viraranaar asked.
"Ignore him." Ashili said, giving Viraranaar a nasty glare, to which he shrugged.

"We nearly there?" Ali asked as his nerves began getting to him again. The momentary bliss that he had experienced was only a ghost now as adrenaline began coursing through his veins, preparing him for battle. "Perhaps when we get there, I should take up a cover position with my rifle?" Ali suggested as he knew his skill was from range and not in the heat of battle.
"Whatever floats your boat." Denise said, although it was apparent she found him to be a bit dissappointing, especially from her thoughts of him after the recent duelling competition. As she turned around to look out a bit further at the sandy dunes, Viraranaar leaned over gently towarsd him, his black mask still encompassing his face, his eyes only slightly peeking through.
"If you like her, and you want a chance, you don't want to show weakness in front of her." He said. "She's a fighter, and she expects you to be so as well." He said, leaning back.
"She expects too much then," Ali whispered with a slight chuckle, so that only Viraranar good hear. "Long rifleman like me," he said using an old term for snipers, "Are best utilized covertly from a distance. Though, I am no tactician," he added even though he was, "So if you think it would be best for me to be in there with you, rather than covering your ass... I'll be there."
"I know what the conventional definition of matriarch is, is it the same for you?" Eddie asked, and noting her glare at Viraranaar he grinned, "I will do as you command m'lady."
Ricardo looked over the desert which reminded him of home and asked, "Are we going to be doing close fighting where it'll be hand-to-hand, or would guns be better?"
"Be where?" Viraranaar asked.
"We could use guns, but there's a chance Gelectriax will fire at Alledrias and kill her. If we can coerce him to use a short ranged weapon then perhaps we can distract him long enough to get Alledrias. If we use any guns, Alledrias could be shot on sight." Denise explained. "It's a risky endeavour."
"Would he accept a challenge to a duel?" Ricardo asked, as he an excellent swordsman.
"While it might be the best idea in terms of getting him away from the Queen," Ali said, "I doubt he would agree to it... and I doubt the ability of he or she who would fight him, to defeat him. It would most likely mean giving up your life..."
"I wouldn't have to win, simply keep him busy long enought." Ricard replied, "Thought I think you may be underestimating me." He added with a wry grin.
"The life of a soldier. The sacrifice is essential. If a sacrifice to save the Queen is needed, then I will give my life up. But I'm not, since we already have fodder." She said, pointing to the unconscious Illuminaatrix.
"Besides, I'm sure Gelectriax isn't a strong fighter. Crafty from what we've seen, but a villain is always weak when he is unarmed and weaponless."
"If he is so crafty... why would he agree to something such as a sword fight in which he would be outarmed and outnumbered?" Ali asked. "That would be completely against strategy... besides... how do we know he doesn't have the whole place wired to blow?"
"But he wouldn't be out-numbered in a duel." Ricardo replied, "And if he had the church rigged to explode, he would kill himself in the process."
"We don't. But if he does, then he could might as well have killed Alledrias, so there's not possible for us. We either have to meet his demands, and we will hopefully fight him fairly, or we're defeated anyways." Ashili explained, as they finally the long, erect, stone binded towers of Ina.
"Well I guess we will soon see..." Ali said as he peered out the window at the chapel.
"Let's hope it's a fair fight, and Gelectriax isn't going to killl us all with a bomb." Denise said, getting out of the chopper.
"Perhaps he doesn't want to," Ali said as he too stepped out of the copter, "But if he is defeated he might do it as a last resort. Who knows... we aren't even sure why he took the Queen in the first place? Besides, I always feel it is best to be ready for any situation..."
Ricardo and Eddie both followed Denise out of the helicopter.
The rest were getting out as well, and Illuminaatrix's waking body was being carried easily by Viraranaar's great strength, as they crossed the winding sand into the abandonned chapel's door, as the wooden door swung open.
"Well I guess he knows we are here," Ali said as he peered into the chapel with his gun slung over his shoulder. He took a couple steps in and looked around...
"Okay let's go." Denise implied.
"He likes the sound of his own voice." Eddie said sardonically.
Inside, the long tunnel of the Ina Chapel held lost broken cracks of lore, the stories told of blood behind its stone walls. Along the edge, laid a pair of tall, hanging angels upon a large group buttresses, as they curved along its marble ceiling towards the ceiling, a cracking, peeling painting decorating the wall, impossible to make out. As they walked along, it was becoming to seamlessly endless, as the painting kept strewn all over the walls, until they finally reached the end of the long twisting hallway, to a surprising scene. In there, on the brightly sunlit room, in the middle of the pedestal, sat Gelectriax, in a seemingly wooden throne, his hands holding his chin up as he leaned forwards in thought, looking at the group as they entered into the castle.
“What’s going on?” Illuminaatrix asked, as he finally woke up, and slinked off of Viraranaar’s back. Remembering what happened, he eyed Denise uneasily, before turning around to stare at his superior.
Bowing down lowly, Illuminaatrix immediately ignored everything else around him. “Lord Gelectriax, I apologise. Please do not harm dear Alledrias for my betrayal.” He said sincerely, as Gelectriax only cackled slightly.
“You people must be tired.” He said, as soldiers and legions came out from the shadows, in dark hollowed uniforms, cold and emotionless, carrying trays of tea and biscuits, of all things. Others had chairs, and others had napkins.
“Come and rest, for you are tired. We can discuss much.” Gelectriax replied, still sitting on his wooden chair.
Ali entered as he looked about nervously at the men. He decided to remain standing and declined the food and tea as they were offered to him. "Why have you taken her?" he asked.
Gelectriax only slightly chuckled, as a faint scream in the distance was heard. Alarmed, Denise rose up along with Ashili, but Gelectriax's guards pushed them down. "Now, now. Have a spot of tea and a snack. There is no point in trying to save your heir on an empty stomach." He said, pouring himself some tea, as the soldier walked past, taking the cup and sipping it carefully through his helmet, not even taking it off.
Still faceless, shrouded beneath the metal helm, he still was as mysterious as the recordings showed hiim to be. Putting the tea down, he only nodded.
"If I give you little Alley, what will you give me in return?" Gelectriax asked, putting his tea down, as his soldiers slinked back into the shadows. The tea and biscuits were still there, as well as the chairs and table.
"How can we make you an offer if we don't even know what you want?" Ali glared. "I can't imagine us even having something of value to you..."
Taking notice of the glare, Gelectriax chuckled beneath his armour. "Come now, we are not enemies yet. Of someone of my, nihilistic nature, what do you think would appease me?"
"Nothing..." Ali replied. "Someone of your nature only wants to know how powerful they are; to know that they can..." He said. "And to me it seems like you have already done that..."
"But there's always a motive behind everything." He said, leaning a little closer, but still a bit far off in his wooden chair. "Kidnapping the Queen is nothing. I'm sure you've had some dealing situations with Jenrak's lousy royal guards? They're pathetic." He cackled, as Ashili raised her rifle, the laser aimed right into the helmet, onto what would be Gelectriax's head.
"Don't even try Ashili." Gelectriax said, as his soldiers aimed their rifles at her, gun emplacements coming out of every corner, every window, aimed at Ashili's head.
"Sure, you would have a chance at me, but my shot would be garuanteed."
"So confident you are that we wouldn't just end your life..." Ali said as he too had raised his gun and aimed it at Gelectriax's helmet. "Are you so sure that we won't fire... even if your guards do kill us afterwards, what good would it do you?"
"Maybe you are so wrapped up in your own god-like myth that you have forgotten your humanity..." he suggested, still holding the gun. "Maybe I should remind you of the red life source that courses through your veins..."
"Yes, go ahead and shoot Gelectriax." He said, seemingly to speak in the third person, oddly enough. "Go ahead, take a shot, and you will never see Alledrias again. You will never be able alive, you will never know what can happen." He said, standing up, seemingly unarmed.
Ashili's rifle still held up, she waited, but Gelectriax only cackled. "Kill me. Don't waste my time with threats." He said, pointing to the small breathing space in his helmet, his finger only slightly going through.
Ricardo had taken a seat, and was now watching the mexicanish stand-off take place, while Eddie had declined the seat and had his hands at his side.
"I can think of a number of motives you might have for abducting the sprog." Teach commented
"To mold her to how he wants Jenrak run openly, for perverse reasons, to be the daughter he never had, there are more but those are the first few I've come up with." Edward replied
"Very interesting." She said, as another scream rattled through the hallways.
"And unless he's very bad at parenting, I'd say my third suggestion isn't exactly viable." He commented, "So, Gelectriax, was I warm with any of my suggestions?" He asked, "Oh and talking in the third person is commonly a sign you're mind is softening."
"What makes you think that talking to myself in the third person was accidental?" He cackled deviously, sitting back down in his chair. "To your responses, I don't want a child, never do. They seem to be a nuisance." He sat back, thinking.
"Correct. I do want control of Jenrak, but then again, I already have it." He said, nodding to Illuminaatrix.
"But you want someone who thinks like you to rule, rather than him," He gave a dismissive glance at Illuminaatrix, "Who appears to be a failure as a minion."
"Perhaps he is afraid..." Ali commented gun still held at the ready, finger on the trigger. "Perhaps he doesn't want to know if he is up to the task."
"If I wanted power, then why would I take someone who could challenge it? I find nothing wrong with a minion - even more so with the incompetent. It makes them expendable." He snickered, his voice becoming a twisted collapse, as the hanging corpses dangled about, flies rotting on their flesh.
"Whatever you do, don't touch this." He pointed to the carved markings on the floor.
"Now why would you go and say something like that," Ali commented. "You were right, you really aren't fit to be a parent. Haven't you ever seen what happens when you tell someone not to do something that they hadn't even thought of doing before hand?"
"Oh, and what is that?" Ricardo asked
"But a servant who challenges you just makes them more valuable as they will strive to be better than you." Eddie replied
"No I haven't. Please show me." He said, slyly.
"Perhaps you should ask it of a child if you want the honest reply," Ali commented. "I am sure Alledrias would be more than willing to demonstrate it if I told her not to touch those carvings..."
"Yes, we should." He said, yelling loudly in a language that seeemed different from any of the Jenrakians there. Emerging from the door, thin and bony, her face pale, her eyes too large for her face, her jawbone slightly showing, hair unwashed and dirty, crawled out Alledrias, dragged by two soldiers as they slumped her down onto the pedestal, as she tried to cry in the pain she was suffering, yet she could not even produce tears.
"She has been taught discipline." Gelectriax said, slightly laughing. "Alledrias, don't touch that." He pointed to the scribes on the floor etched in stone, but Alledrias was too drained of energy and food to do anything. Her hand was swollen, and another had three broken fingers, one was furiously bleeding through an unsterilized bandage, and her thumb was cut to the bone.
"She's not doing anything." Gelectriax said.
"For one thing, it's doubtful if she has the strength to move, without a sever force of will, for another, you've pavlov'ed her." Eddie replied as he began walking over to the girl.
"Perhaps it is because you have tortured her," Ali remarked snidely as he saw the neglected form of Alledrias being dragged out before them. "Perhaps it is because she is too weak and weary to even move..."
"You are a sick bastard you know that. You took away something irreplaceable..."
"Uh, Uh, Uh." Gelectriax said, as more legions came out of the shadows, forming a large wall of men between Teach and Gelectriax, who stood where Alledrias stayed. Speaking in the odd language once more, a pair of soldiers carried Alledrias' pale body off back to the wooden door, as Gelectriax nodded.
"You can't touch her." He said.
"Who said anything about touching her." He replied, "I have even less use for a sprog than you do for a daughter, I just wanted to examine her." He walked to within a few meters of the line of men. "What was that language by the way?"
"It's Ascheran. A Bloodline Language that's officially dead since the Purge." Gelectriax replied, as his soldiers marched forwards, pushing the wall forward, trying to push Eddie back more out of the way.
"What do you want?" Gelectriax asked them all, his voice strong and serious.
"Ah, do you know where I might study it?" Eddie asked as he stood solidly in the path of the men, a rock of Gibralter against the wave of flesh. "And I want this situation to resolve for the greatest good for the most people."
"I'm here because of Denise." Ricardo replied
"There's only three people I know who know it fluently, and I know Jenrak to its sharpest point. Out of the three, I'm the only one who understands the entire language." He cackled. "There will be no book that could tell you anything." He replied.
"Alledrias is my girl now, and she will remain mine until her death. Then her bloodline will continue under my control." He said. "There's nothing you can do, but you can try."
"A fair fight - a battle of steel and blade." Gelectriax said, his soldiers moving out of the way, the way to Gelectriax clear, as he merely sat down.
"You would be willing to put the girl's fate up to a trial of arms?" Eddie asked, "And if so what form?"
"He said steel and blade..." Ali said still holding his gun.
"Those are the weapons, not the type." Edward replied, "The type is first blood, death, surrender, or incapacitation."
"I said," Gelectriax replied, to Ali, "Steel and Blade. Unless that gun fires out blades, then I'll have to force you to decline that."
"Don't worry..." Ali said. "I wasn't planning on shooting you... yet." He also wasn't planning on fighting him with a sword as he thought it best to leave that to one of the others.
"But first, I must have a little chat with my Council." Gelectriax said, taking out five small speakers from under the wooden chair, and placed them on the nearby table, turning each of them on. In a moment, he stood up, and waited a few seconds.
"Exharth Ikellios!" He yelled to the church, the echoes ringing, as the speakers came abuzz with noise.
"What's going on?" One of the speakers asked, as others followed suite. Each of them seemed to have their own different voice, most of them very familiar. "Lord, Gelectriax, what is the matter?" They asked, all in a tone of worrisome.
"This is the official trial of Elnias Illuminaatrix. He will be courted by a fair and easy custom." He said, to the approval of the speakers, as they nodded in fear. "Illuminaatrix, how do you plead for your life?" Gelectriax asked Illuminaatrix, who glared at him.
"...Innocent." He replied, to the uproar of the speakers, as they yelled in curses.
"Illuminaatrix has fallen from the great path! He is now a liar! He is to be killed!" One of the speakers yelled, to the approval of the others. Gelectriax only stood there, listening, facing Illuminaatrix from a safe distance.
"What do you say of Illuminaatrix?" He asked everyone else.
"I say people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones," Ali replied as he stared at Gelectriax. It was a simple statement, but it conveyed most all of his feelings.
"How deep." Gelectriax cackled. "Nevertheless, Gelectriax, you are found guilty by your peers, the council of betrayal against my throne. So, as your punishment you are to be put to death." Gelectriax said, turning off all of the speakers, before sitting down straight in the chair, watching them, as the quiet attitude overtook the windy billows outside.
"What are you going to do?" Illuminaatrix asked, as he pulled aside his long robe to reveal his faithful sword, the fiery steel bladed Azrahath. "How are you going to fight fire with flesh?" He snickered charging with immense speed to Gelectriax, but three magnets locked him down into the ground, as he tried to lift his sword, but was unable to.
"Let me introduce my executioner, the Prayer." Gelectriax said, as a tall, hodded figure walked from the back of the doorway, standing beside Gelectriax, a large sword held squarely in his left hand. "I'm sure some of you will remember this man."

The Dominion squad stay in the back of the pack during the walk to the chapel and entering the chapel. During the walking, they were quiet and thinking about what was going to happen in little bit. The vampire of the group were wearing long coats and gloves. Edward is his trademark coat that looks like an Emiko’s coat. Selene was wearing a black version of Edward’s coat. Remy was wearing black leather jacket with hood and each one had black gloves.
When the group met Gelectriax, Edward eyed him and his men. Kane did the same thing. Then the scream could be hear in the room. Good girl. said Edward to himself. If it is you, we know you are still alive. Pointing guns at his wife will just get Edward mad.
Then he watched as Alledrias was dragged into the room. He could tell that she had no strength. But her being in the room gave the rescue squad an upper hand. Then that upper hand was took away from them because of Mr. Teach.
As this strange hooded figure walked into the room. Something was strange about him, something Edward and Selene could fell in this man’s blood. “Gelectriax, have your executioner show his face.” said Edward.
"A good idea." Gelectriax chuckled. "Prayer, would you want to show your face?" He asked him, to this mysterious figure, but the figure only shook his head.
"It is best to never know your killer's emotion." The figure said, oddly sounding extremely familiar.
"Oh, don't be so rude." Gelectriax urged, still sitting. "You wouldn't want to look like a failure in the elite, do you? Or should I send Lord Garguth to deal with them?" Gelectriax asked once more, to the figure's dismay.
A scarred, heavily tattooed, figure only reached to the top of the hood, and pulled it down, to reveal the familiar markings on his face, the markings he was given when Ciraranaar Arkszen 'blessed' him.
It was Saerus Annirak, not dead as they believed.

Selene drops to her knees with a shocked face and tears starting to run down her face. Persephone stood behind her mistress and looked at Saerus.
“Saerus…” started Edward with shocked look on his face, too. “How can this be?” he asked to Gelectriax. His right hand on the black handle of his pistol.
Saerus only looked with a slight blank stare. Evidently, he didn't know whom any of these people were, except that they presented a threat to Gelectriax's power. Gelectriax only cackled, looking at Edward.
"When you have someone think them to be someone else, then they are. Whoever you imitate, if you do it enough, you become them. There were alot of men who would take on Saerus' role. Prayer, you are fake person. Your real name is Saerus Annirak." Gelectriax said to the figure, as he took his hood back up.
"That is a lie. I have always served under your heel, Lord Gelectriax." Saerus said blankly. "Who do you want me to kill?" He asked, his sword raised.
"Who is he?" Ricardo asked

Selene got back up as tears ran down her face. She eyed Ricardo, “My husband or was my husband, you idiot.” she said. She looked back at Saerus. Her hands on the handles of her swords (http://www.toledosword.com/im/GRHK33TS_s.jpg). Sometimes, she wished to have the mutant powers of her father or had the control over her powers like her father has.
Gelectriax snickered cruelly when Selene teared. "Look Saerus, it's your wife!" Gelecriax cackled even louder, as the figure only stood there, standing still as cold as stone.
"I apologise, I did not know." Ricardo replied
Meanwhile Edward was just looking at the man that was the cause of the distrubance.
The Transylvania

“Bad idea, man.” said Edward. Without warning, Selene used her first mutant power on Gelectriax. The power she was born with, the one she has the most control over. The ability to create molecules of water by mentally adding water molecules to other atoms.
So…bad luck from Gelectriax because a fist about the size of a VW Bug made of water was heading at him.
"I know all about these distortions of yours, blasphemers!" Gelectriax cackled, as Saerus stepped in the way, and a flame throwers lit ablaze, he blasted off a steady jet of fire, allowing Illuminaatrix the only way to reach towards his 'executioner'.
In a flash of steel, Saerus immediately, dodged Illuminaatrix's quick fiery blade attack, knocking the Watcher into the wall, but the man would simply not go down. In a wave of fury, a large lashing boulder of flame from Illuminaatrix's sword came along, before a jet of electricity seemed to emanate from Gelectriax's fingers.
Gelectriax cackled once more, wires coming out of his hands as he pulled himself onto the cieling corner, hanging there, watching and cackling as Saerus kept his flamethrower lit, while keeping his right hand occupied against Illuminaatrix's attacks.

Edward was about to take the kill from both Saerus’ and Gelectriax’s hands. With his left hand, he send ice into Saerus to knock him out of the fight and not to harm him.
The red dot from his pistol had a target, the back of Eln’s head. He squeezed off a round. “Selene, bring your husband back.” he yelled. At that time, Selene jump in front of Saerus will both sword drawn. She did a spin kick to knock the flamethrower out of his hand.
Elnias yelled in fury, dropping the sword to which the soldiers of Gelectriax opened fire upon him, gunning him down viciously, as he yelled in pain. Gelectriax once more watched, as Selene was now to face against Saerus, whom had no record of her existence.
If he was himself, then he would have not fought her, no matter what circumstances, no matter the cost. But this was not him. Saerus Annirak, by all terms, was dead. He was now only an empty shell, never ending, always moving, pushing forwards.
"Get her." Gelectriax ordered, and Saerus swung.
The Transylvania

One sword against two, not good odds for Saerus’ attack to land. Even for Selene it was hard to fight somebody she looked but the person in front of her was not himself. She would try not to kill him but if it came to that, she would have to kill the father of her two children. Selene used both of her swords to block the attack. “Wake up, Saerus.” she yelled.
It looked like everybody was watching Selene and Saerus. So…Kane drew two black knifes. He winked at Edward before disappearing, leaving only a cloud of black smoke behind and the smell of brimstone in the air.
Saerus was emotionless, a cold hearted killer, without remorse nor pity against her. "I am Ekleth the Prayer." Saerus only replied solemnly. "Please get my name correctly." He murmured, swinging hard to push Selene back.
While everybody was busy with Saerus against Selene, Gelectriax looked carefully while Major Kane dissappeared. "Not smart there, Major. If you're after me, I'll you. If you're going to save the girl, I'll kill her." He whispered, his voice for once, serious.
The Transylvania

Selene pushed into Saerus’ attack. “No, you are Saerus Annirak. The man I marred.” she yelled. “Or you were him.” She push more in her attack. “What would our daughter, Cassandra, think of you?”
“He is not going after you or the girl.” said Edward. At that moment, Kane reappeared and stab one of Gelectriax‘s men in the chest. A move that would hit the man’s heart. But before he was shot at, he teleport out of the way. “And it is Major General.” said Edward with a smile.
Eddie watched, his eyes taking in the whole scene. He was wondering if Saerus would 'wake' up, and what would be the results if he died. He also chuckled to himself at Gelectriax's stunt with the wires.
Ricardo was standing, looking almost like a teenager at his first dance.
ooc: Trans, you DP'ed
"If I had a daughter, then she would be ashamed." Saerus said, lunging back, as a huge array of metal wires on obsidian ends lunged out towards the cieling, lunging Saerus up onto the cieling, as he stood there, upside down like a spider. Standing directly above Selene, he only lifted his two feet, and fell, sword drawn against her.

“Sorry, hon.” she said as she back flip out of the way. As she land four feet away from where she was just at. “I know all of your move. I did watch you train back at the castle, dear husband.” she said. “And yes, your daughter would be ashamed.” She waited from Saerus to attack. “Your son would be ashamed, too.”
Kane continued his hit and teleport attacks on Gelectriax‘s men. He would stop after all of them were dead. His attacks were attacks to the heart, lungs, the neck or the spine.
"Nice ability your man there has." Eddie commented as he watched Kane work. Even thought they were on the same 'side' he was studying and looking for the flaws that were in the man's ability.
"How amusing." Saerus replied, as Gelectriax slightly cackled.
Saerus has completely been changed from his old style. Now let's see how Selene fights against my style of battle. Gelectriax replied, watching.
In an instant, Saerus landed onto the ground, hand spinning on the pivot that was the bone of his palm, and lunged himself towards her, tentacle-like wires coming out of his robes to strike.

Selene was waiting for her husband little trick with those damn wires. But she had her own tricks, she started adding water molecules to other atoms in front of Saerus. She started attacking as Edward began to freeze the water in the air. The wires were begin frozen. As she attack, the wires were be broke. Her swords locked with Saerus’ blade.
Saerus leapt up, and issued more wires from his coat, lashing towards Selene, attacking, slashing and leaping back like a furious monkey when he ever got close to extreme danger, always never going into a full fight.
The Transylvania

Selene fought the wire and her husband.“Fight like a man.” she yelled. “Stop using the wires like a coward.”
At moment, Kane reappeared behind Saerus and stab him in the back. A stab that was mean to harm not kill. No organs were harm in this attack but it would made him have pain. He went back to his hit and teleport attacks on Gelectriax‘s men.
Selene used Kane’s backstab to spin kick her husband across the jaw.
Saerus was stabbed, but his blinding faith to his lord overwhelmed it. He did not feel it, if barely. After the brief kick to jaw, he turned and swung, before another wire leapt out of his robe and bolted him up into the air, as he lunged back down.
"A coward's tactic?" He said, looking up at Selene, his eyes showing only a blank stare once more. "Fight honourably? As you wish." He said, going into a low creeping stance, before jumping up and swinging down onto his wife, blade drawn, ready top cleave her in half.
"Hey Gelectriax, what, if anything will break him out of his trance?" Eddie asked, gesturing where the two were fighting.
"A picture of his past life will do very well." He said.
Ali chuckled to himself as he stood watching the fight. Why would Gelectriax answer that, even if he could. It would be a grave tactical mistake to devulge that information and it was doubtful he would be that careless.
"Hey Edward, do you know if Selene has a picture of her and her husband or anything similar?" Eddie asked
The Transylvania
22-01-2006, 05:28
Selene used both swords to block Saerus’ downwards attack. Many thoughts were going through her head. Thoughts about her children. They would not know anything, if she had to kill Saerus because she would never tell them. She pushed Saerus blade back. “The real you is in there and I will find it.” she said.
By that time, Kane had took out all of Gelectriax’s men in the room. Kane reappeared next to Edward. “That was fun.” he said in his demonic voice.
Edward looked over at Mr. Teach. “She does not have one on her person…” he started. “But I do.” He pulls out a picture of Selene, Saerus, and their daughter after she was born. The family picture that Selene want to have done. “Bring him to me.”
Kane knew Edward was talking him and teleport behind of Saerus. Placing one hand on Saerus’ back, he took him back to Edward. Saerus was standing front of Edward, now. Edward put the picture in his face as Kane held Saerus’ hands.
Saerus rushed forwards, still as tenacious as he was before. From there, marched out the bevy of more soldiers, as they formed a wall around where Gelectriax hung.
"I grow tired and weary of this. This is becoming boring. Where is the love?" Gelectriax gave up, wearied. "I'm bored. Open the corpses for your answer." Gelectriax said, walking out, as the soldiers knelt down and held their rifles far off.
The corpses around them still dangled.
"NOOOOO!" Ali screamed as he witnessed Saerus being shown his picture. "You fools! Why would you trust what he says!"
Saerus was furious, his anger rising. "How dare you try to trick me?" He yelled, screaming as he broke free, swinging the blade around maniacally, wires coming out from his coat, form a dense spider web around him.
Gelectriax was already gone, and Alledrias most likely with him. There was nothing to stop the soldiers from opening fire, and unwaveringly, they did.
The Transylvania
22-01-2006, 05:43
“Shut up, Mr. Ali.” said Edward. Saerus’ sword was not on his person anymore, it was in the hands of Major General Kane. Edward did a round house kick to knock Saerus on the ground.
Selene jumped up and cuts the rope of one of the hanging corpses. She cuts the corpse open.
Hearing sounds of guns about to fire, Edward began to from an ice wall between the soldiers and his little group. Thick enough to hold against the enemy bullets. “Kane, take them about.” command Edward. Kane teleport high above the soldiers and threw six AN-M14 TH3 (http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/land/m14-th3.htm) incendiary hand grenades into them. He reappeared back with the others.
Saerus never went flying, amidst the bullets that sprayed through the air, as the web kept him safe and stable from any attack. The blood from the newly cut corpse flowed fresh, as it ran down into the carvings Gelectriax had warned them earlier not to touch.
The blood soon filled up the cracks and the gaps, and soon it was an apparent message: Repeat Ekrell Aquat in his left ear.
As the soldiers raised their rifles to fire, Edward's hands raised, a set of pistols appearing to almost materialize in them. He could draw and fan a set of pistols with perfect accuracy in less time than it took a man to blink. In the space of under a second, he'd put sixteen rounds dead on, all neck shots, instant kills.
From the rising uncertainty, a large figure rose up through the frightened soldiers, and gave off a nasty jet of fire from his hands, as he locked himself around the flames. The voice was loud, convicting, much like Saerus', but the figure only was there to melt the ice through the spray of salt and fire.
"I know that voice." Ashili said. "Authaulus." She said in surprise. "He's one of the elite?" She asked to the others, but the flames stopped, and the large figure dissappeared.
As gun fire erupted, Ali opened fire on Gelectriax's men. He fired off sixteen rounds, before the rifle unfortunately, jammed. He worked on it for a few seconds, trying to get it unjammed, but to no avail as the firing mechanism had melted and the gun was useless. Almost.
He creeped around to the side of the room in the shadows, and honed in one of the men. Raising the gun over his head, he smashed the guy's skill in just as he was about to shoot Ricardo. Dropping the gun to the floor, Ali pulled out his sword and began hacking into the enemy line.
The Transylvania
22-01-2006, 06:12
“Cut all the corpses. There is a message on the floor.” yelled Edward drew both of his pistols and began to fire at enemy soldiers. “Selene, make sure your husband doesn’t try and attack us.”
Persephone joins in with Edward's pistol play by using her custom made 9mm pistols. Remy started sending charged playing cards in the enemy ranks. Kane started to cut corpses.
Ricardo drew his sword and followed Ali's example, thought with a few differences in style and technique.
Eddie continued to fire with devestating speed and accuracy. With a WFDA approved pistol he had a record of less than a quarter of a second. With his own, the time was considerably less.
The blood flowed freely from their bodies, filling up the cut out edges with a prefect hewn into the stone ground. Instantly, the liquid poured forth, and formed a short, but clear message: Repeat Nethrom.
The soldiers, in their massacre, fell back, for their purpose was done. It was enough to have them keeping the 'heroes' busy, while Gelectriax's plans to further strengthen his power resumed. And still, Alledrias was in his cackling hands.
The Transylvania
22-01-2006, 20:01
Edward continued to fire at the soldiers, making sure they were die. “Leave no one alive.” he yelled. Selene looked at the new message. “Nethrom! Nethrom! Nethrom!” she yelled at her husband.
Saerus began to start choking up blood, coughing it out in large torrents, but he could not fire at anybody anymore, as if he was paralysed by the word. In a final cough of blood, his voice changed exactly to Gelectriax's: "I hope you enjoy your new husband, Selene. Know that he'll freak at your kids." And with those words echoed from his former master, Saerus fell unconscious, amidst the violence.
The soldiers still ran back, and it was not hard for them to escape. Immediately, a large number of them retreated, Authaulus emerged once more, Rocket Launcher on his shoulder. Aiming high into the center of the cieling, the only spot where Saerus' cursed wires never penetrated, he fired, and dissappeared once more, as the church caved in.

Selene ran over to her fallen husband and drop to her knees. Edward saw this Authaulus emerged once more into the room with a damn rocket launcher on his shoulder. “Oh shit. Kane, let get the hell out of here.” he yelled. Kane was all ready teleporting to get them out of them. Selene and Saerus were the first one to disappeared.
Edward was the last one to leave the room, almost having a large piece of roof fall on him. The group were next to the three helicopters. Edward watched as the church caved in.
"Is everybody under?" Authaulus asked to the surviving soldiers, as they nodded in fright and his authority. "Good." He merely said, walking out of the back of church, down into the deep dark recesses of the underground labyrinth, where Gelectriax had went with Alledrias. Leaving behind only a small spherical object, his closed the door, as the bomb exploded atop the remains of the church.

The blast from the bomb was not close enough to harm the helicopters. Edward looked at the church and asked “Everybody all right?”

"Don't put much hope into him right now Selene." Viraranaar replied harshly. "He's lost alot of blood, and I'll be damned if he survives the trip. He's going to need alot of blood on this."

“Gelectriax has escaped with Alledrias.” he added before heading to his helicopter. Followed by Remy. Persephone head towards Selene’s Black Hawk. Kane picked Saerus up and carried him to his helicopter, Selene following behind him. In the back, they would start working on Saerus.
"So much for a valiant rescue. It's disgusting on what Gelectriax has done to Alledrias. Bone dry." Ashili replied.

She only coughed up blood when she became sick, and Gelectriax ignored her. "If she dies, then Jenrak deservers to die as well." Gelectriax murmured, walking away.

ooc: sorry, I had a long post all ready to go when my computer crashed. I think you will be able to infer what happened with this post...
IC:
Ali slowly stepped out of the helicopter, making sure not to put much weight on his left leg. As he got out he stepped away and stood looking in to the distance. As his torn and ripped clothes flapped in the wind of the helicopter blades, he stood contemplating... the recent events had brought up many new issues in his mind that he would have to address when he had time.
"Ah!" he winced slightly as another shooting pain coursed through his leg. When the pain subsided he was able to speak again, "When you have a chance... can you get a doctor to take a brief look at this." His cut up hand was pointing to his left quadricep where a sharp and twisted piece of metal was sticking through his blood soaked pants. He looked like a mess with his clothes nearly falling off, his leg bloodied, and his face cut up and marred by the explosion... it had been a long day.
Rushing towards his faint body, the team of medics and the squad of surgeons immediately placed a large fielding tent within the perimeter, to isolate the windy air and the sand from entering his veins. Rushing Saerus’ limp body onto the track, and then placing him into the cold steel breadth, they pushed and rushed forwards, trying to keep him in a temporary stasis, injecting a small yellowish liquid squarely into his shoulder. One of them, a rushing man with a thick mask on, said briefly, “Inject the proxy-methanide.” The surgeon replied, as a thick reddish liquid, too coarse and dry to be blood, was injected, as his arms began to swell up.
“Put the bags.” The surgeon told them, as the needles began piercing into the unconscious Saerus’ arms, as the table shook and the sound was thick and deep, screeching in the howling wind. “Keep everybody out of the tent, contamination is not to be spread.” The surgeon told them ,as the tent was locked, and only the horrific cries and the pusling dribble of blood kept the wondering on what happened through the air-tight felt tents.
Within an hour, a while later, the surgeon emerged, as the tent began to move. Facing Selene, he only had a light gaze around him, like a heavenly aura. “He is going to survive, but his mind has suffered heavy mental change. It looks like somebody has reprogrammed it completely. We’re working on his neural structure right now, but anybody know of what could have possibly happened to him?” He asked, eying them all suspiciously.
