Seeing Amy in trouble, Gabe looked around for a temporary weapon. He took one of the mettle bars that had been part of the gate and ran over to help.

using her agility Amy works round the back the three zombies and bashes the closest one knocking it down. She then gets out range of the lunge from its neighbour and dodges in again to kill the floored zombie with another well aimed swing.

Gabe singles out one of the zombies and is able to get a good swing at it since its atention was elseware. He dodges an atempted swing at him from the zombie and waked the thing again in the head, wich caused it to fall back for a moment.

two zombies now remained and they went after different targets.

Amy runs behind the one which was falling back and she clinically brains it three times until it stops twitching.

Gabe however has a hungry zombie with its full attention on him..

Gabe, stepped back and wait for the zombie to come after him. The zombie did and Gabe at room to step into his swing, making it a swing powerful enough to knock the zombie backwards.

Mathew ran down some steps and stoped infront of a small building, the glass door would be easy to break, then the alarm would go off, a very loud one.

With out hesitation, he picked up a brick and threw it through the door, then following it, he ran down the basement steps to the rifle room.

Amy steps up behind the occupied zombie and brains it with one swing.

It falls twiching until Amy takes her kitchen knife and stabs it in the head.

She surveys the scene and cleans the blade on the zombies trousers before replacing it back in her makeshift scabbard.

all is still around them and only now that the combat is over does Amy realise what she did and cries.

one of the zombies was her mother..

Mathew grabbed 3 rifles and some ammo, and was out running towards the jeep.

"I have the guns."

ooc: THL didn't tell you do ignore the setting or even to try to get past the barricade. If you don't have time to read and actually follow the thread... you shouldn't be RPing.

Gabe ingores Matthew and goes over to Amy. "What's wrong?" he asks.

Amy looks over to her teacher and says "I killed mom" pointing to the zombie she's just knifed.

Despite her bashed in head Roberta Halder can still be recognised.

Amy holds onto her teacher her tears now flowing..

"Don't worry." Gabe told her, "We are all going to get out of here." He stood there, allowing her to cry on him.

He motioned over to Matthew to put the guns in the Jeep.

Amy notices the alarm blaring away and says "we'll better get going before more zombies turn up"

Still crying she helps Matthew with the guns and gets into the back seat.

Only then does she dry her tears.

"So, you were heading to the national gaurd base after this?" Gabe asked as he climbed into his seat.

"that was the plan" Amy replied "but I don't honestly know how safe it is now"

Is anyware safe? Gabe thought to himself.

"If that rescue station is not operating, I can try to get us to my house. It is a half hour drive from here. It is secluded." Gabe offered. Based on past expeirience, Gabe knew it was always good to have a second option.

please sign up for peace in the land of NS and oppose the NS world war going on. we will have a peacekeeping army sent out to intervene if any bombs/nukes are fired or anything like that.

"yah I know how to swing a baseball bat, its not that different, the national guard probibly evacutated the hospital a while ago"

she walked into the hospital, it seemed deserted, things littered the hallways. She went down the hallway and looked in each of the rooms. She found a supply closet.

"Alright, if you insist," Frank said, slowly walking the opposite direction of Alexis. "Stay within yelling distance, though."

As Frank walked along the polished floor, his shoes squeaking every now and then, he noticed some loud noises coming from the Morgue area. He gulped and steped toward it, and through the window on the door, saw about twenty or so of the rioters in the room trying to break out. Shocked, he turned and began to run, snagging a few pens from the receptionist's desk.

"Alexis! We have a problem! Let's get out of here!"

Frank made his way around the hospital looking for Alexis, but to no avail.

"She couldn't have left me...could she of?"

Frank walked into a janitor's closet and sat down on the mop bucket, closing the door behind him. He sat there, waiting for any sort of message from Alexis.

"That’s a good idea, but at the guard base they have better weapons we can use, and there are trained solders."

"If the solders are still there." Gabe replied.

Gabe started the Jeep and backed out back onto the road.

from the back seat of the jeep Amy can see them passing more more clumps of zombies.

With their journey half completed she hasn't seen any soldiers, helicopters or any other sign of life. They were utterly alone..

I hate how quiet it seems right now, Gabe thought. Gabe was begining to get worried. He was running out of gas, and we was makeing similar observations to Amy's.

Mathew wasn't looking out the windows, he was readying the rifles.

The Hunters continued slashing at the door and pushing into it. The smell of warm flesh was driving them nearly insane, and it only increased their desire to get into the room. And within a few seconds, they would be...

Before long they arrive at the base. the main gate is open and the place looks deserted. Several dead zombie corpses litter the area round the main gate and Amy looks worried.

Amy checks the gatehouse and finds the partially eaten corpse of a guardsman. She prods the corpse with her bat and finds he's still dead but caves in his skull to make sure.

"whatever happened here we missed it" she remarked

ooc: THL have you any thoughts on the situation at the rescue station?

"Stand back," Tyler said as the door was about to burst open. He moved over to the side of the room and got down on one knee. "Get ready!" he said and before he finished his sentence he let a hail of bullets fly, sending them through the wall hopefully hitting whatever was trying to get through the door.

"This place now is no safer than anywere else in Hartford." Gabe replied.

"We should try to figure out what to do now. Should we stay somewere near here, or should we make for my house?"

"If we are staying we'll need to close the gate" Amy says "the controls in that hut over there.

getting some more gas would also be a good idea since i'd think there'd be a pump here"

"We should stay here, at least for a while, there’s bound to be some more weapons and even a chance of rescue."

"lets stay" Amy says and goes to the gatehouse and closed the gate over. There was still power and it gradually slid over and locked itself.

From the hut Amy could see more zombies coming up the road. They were still in small groups but a lot of them were dangerous.

she leaves the hut and says "theres more coming this way so we'll have to stay put"

"We should check if their are any zombies here, and get rid of them now." Gabe suggested.

"i'm on it" Amy says taking the flashlight from her shoulder bag and testing the front door.

It swings open and she shines into the darkness listening hard her bat close to hand. she enters into the quiet reception area and declares the first room clear.

"Ok, I'll check that building over there, were are you two going?"

Gabe takes two of the guns from the Jeep and tosses one of them to Matthew.

"Oh, I will scout around the outside buildings, look around for possible spots they would hide."

Amy continues into the main office building and checks the next corridor and the rooms off it.

the end of the corridor is blocked off with filing cabinets so Amy concentrates on the rooms she can check.

(OOC: if Ivan is still in the story he ended up somewhere in the base)

Mathews building was a mess, bodies every were, most wore civilian clothing, but scattered through out the bodies were National Guard. But as he got further in, more of the bodies turned out to be National Guard.

Then a person stumbled out of a door way ahead of him. Mathew ran forward, he wore a National Guard uniform and was seriously wounded.
"You ok?" Mathew asked. "Shoot me, I don't want to become one of those things." was the reply.

The shot rang out through the base.

Jack aimmed his M-16 at the door for the things to come threw. He didn't know what the hell created them. Sweat came down from his helmet. His hand was on the trigger.

Amy hears a gunshot and runs outside her building in the direction of it.

when she enters the building the Matthew is searching she's nearly sick when she sees the bodies.

She finds Matthew easily enough and mutters "just as well we stayed in your house last night. All this must have happened then"

"I killed him, I killed a person." Mathew said as he collapsed.

Amy manages to catch Matthew on his way down says gently to him "I'm sure you had no choice. she locates an M16 and gives it to Matthew.

"you just got a weapons upgrade" she says trying to encourage him "lets finish checking this building"

Not having never courage Jack ran to a window. He shot it open and grabbed his backpack. Then he jumped out into a dumpster. Getting out he ran away from the store. The zombies saw him and started to go after him.

After running from the building he found a Humvee. There was blood all over the place. He found the bodies of two eaten National Guardmens. He picked up their ammo and checked the Humvee. There was another dead body. Checking around he found the keys. His M-16 was in the seat next to him. He started the Humvee, then the dead body arose. He tried to grab the M-16. No use he pulled out his knife and stabbed it in the head. Taking the knife out of it's head Jack kicked out the body. The zombies were after him now. He could see them in the distance. Starting the Humvee he drove off toward the National Guard Base.

By the time he got their the hood was covered with blood. The base was empty execpt of the bodies of soldiers. Then he heard a gunshot from a building. He opened the door to see a woman and a man with a M-16.

"Who the hell are you two?"

Roy saw that the Hunters finally broke threw the barricade. He waited a moment, and then ran into the the building. The hunters were moving toward a group of people. Roy sighed and pumped one Hunter full of lead. He had to reload, though, and now the injured Hunter rushed toward him. Roy was lammed out of the building by the Hunter, and was now running down the street, trying to find a good oppurtunity to fire on it again.

Alread by the now broken window, Tyler got on a knee and aimed his gun. As he was a skilled marksman, he took his type with the shot. He watched as the man ran down the street with the hunter following him and took aim. As the crosshairs lined up, Tyler squeezed the trigger and sent the bullet through the back of the Hunter's head.

Roy heard a gun shot and turned around. The Hunter had taken a shot to the head. It was dying. Roy laughed. He pulled out his knife and slammed it into the hunters eye. He took the TMG shoved it down the Hunter's throat. He pulled the trigger and finished off the hunter. Roy laughed again and walked back to the building. There was still two hunters. He reloaded and junped in, this time being more careful to the hunter's attacks.

Hearing the shot, Gabe runs to the doorway and yells, "Is everyone alright in there?"

OOC: Actually, there were only three Hunters. Their all dead now.

IC:

"I can't believe that guy ran off like that!"

Alice stated, pissed.

"You should have used that bullet on him instead of that thing." She said to Tyler.

"Told you he was a dumbass," Tyler responded has he loaded up a new magazine into one of his M-16s, "Wouldn't suprise me if we find him dead along the road somewhere.... maybe even shot himself on accident," he chuckled lightly to himself.

alexis found a dead body of a hospital security guard. She took the guards gun,radio,and billy club. She walked around the blood stained hallways, searching for frank. She started to walk around a corner and saw a zombie, it was feeding on a body of what looked like a doctor. She stoped and stepped back, pressing herself against the wall with the gun in her hand, pointing at the celing. She tried to control her breathing, sweat ran down her face. Hoping that the zombie wouldnt notice her, she turned and went quietly in the other direction. looking in one of the hospital rooms, she found the sedatives they were looking for.

She continued to the reception desk, which was deserted, blood stained the counter and computer. Hearing a noise coming from behind a door she quickly raised the gun in the direction of the noise. She slowly walked in the direction, keeping the gun steady and standing to the side of the door she opened it.Seeing about five zombies feasting on several bodies, not noticing her they continued, untill one blood drenched zombie looked up. Bearing its blood stained teeth, it let out a loud growl. The other zombies now turned their attention tward her. She leveld the gun at the forhead of the first zombie and pulled the trigger. It fell to the floor, motionless, she leveled it at the next zombie, squeezing the trigger it too fell to the floor. Now the three other zombies were advancing tward her. She dropped two more, the next one lunged at her with its arms extended. She fired one shot, hitting it in the sholder, it had no effect. Firing one more shot that zombie too fell to the red tile floor ontop of other bodies.

Zombies began coming down the hall, coming fast, alexis started to run. She rounded the corner, slipping in a pool of blood. she struggled to regain her footing, continuing to slip. Standing up again she started to run again, yelling "Frank, Frank, we have to go now, Frank, where the hell are you god damn it".

"Well do you want to get moving again, Ms..." Tyler asked her before realizing he still didn't know her name. "Through all this commotion I don't think I caught your name," he commented to her.

"Alice Callan." She replied. "And yeah, we should get moving. Theres probably more of those things around."

"Yeh... good idea," Tyler replied as he took a step over to the broken window. He held his guns to his sides so that they wouldn't accidently go off upon impact, and lept twelve feet to the ground. "Lets go..."

Amy swings round to see a soldier behind them. She keeps her bat ready and says "we found the base like this when we got here and we've only just arrived. Whatever happened here the base is no longer a rescue station"

with the stress of the last day Amy looks older than her 15 years. her face still puffy from the tears she shed she was determined to make it out of Hartford.

She hears the voice of her teacher and calls back "We're alright Mr Anderson. We found another survivor"

Gabe shouted back in through the doorway, "We have to find something to throw in front of the gate quickly."

Frank began to barricade the door with the tables and chairs in what appeared to be an office of some sort. There were two windows and a closet in the room. Frank had the door fairly secure, so he sat on the floor.

"What in the hell was that?"

"Well Alice," Tyler replied after handing Richard his gun back, "You are going to have to jump... but watch your heels or you might twist an ankle."

Roy walked up to the Nayional Guard soldier. "Hey, was that you who helped me out with that hing? Thanks. Name's Roy. Where you guys headed? I might just join your little group, it would benefit both of us."

"Tyler," Tyler replied to Roy as he waited for Alice to jump down. "You can tag along all you want... just don't get us killed."

"Don't worry, I can fight, just that thing caught me off guard. So, what do you plan to do to get out of here?"

"Hell if I know," Tyler replied, "I figure we keep heading in the same direction until we get out of this area... shooting the bastards as we go."

"Hmmm..." Alice mummured. How she would jump down without breaking something was a mystery to her. Landing on her feet with probably break her heels and ancles, and she couldn't land on her exposed knees and landing on her hip would probably be a bad idea also.

"Just take off your shoes and jump," Tyler said to her seeing that she was pondering how she would get down. "Oh... nevermind," he said as he looked down at the ground and sat the broken glass of the window scatted everywhere.

"Well... we could try to catch you," he commented, "Or you can try to find another way down."

"There's three of us and one of you. If you junp, we'll catch you."

"We might as well head down this road as we were doing yesterday," he commented as he looked down the road, not knowing where it lead. "Hopefully we will be able to make good time today and not have to board up again when night falls..."

Roy thought to himself. "Good, the fools trust me. To easy. I can use one of them as a host for the virus that Wesker gave me. As for the other two, well, the one will take care of them. And even if it fails, I will. Now, how do I get a plaga? Maybe I'll see if those people know anything about." Roy spoke up. "So, what kind of things have you fought? I think it's a good idea to share weaknesses of the creatures we've killed."

"I saw them crawling around, and wherever they went, zombies came out of that area. That's just what I think, but if I'm right, I want to try to stop them from contaiminating more areas."

"Face it man," Tyler replied, "This town is lost.... there is no saving it."

"Yeh. Dont be a fool. Lets just get the hell outta here." Richard smiled. "And I might visit the local bank before we leave."

"Your right, let's go. We should be working on getting out of here, not saving it."

A message came over all Military channels, so the National Guard members received them. How ever, it sounded like it was coming from quite a distance because the signal was quite weak.

"---- command. Infection level has ---- 100%. Negative -ommand, no change of -----. Roger command, Hartford will need to be sterilized within ---- hours to prevent further contamination. Negative command, prevent anyone from leaving the ------ area."

((OOC: As you can guess, the "---"'s stand for breaks in the radio.))

Jack heard the message from his radio. He didn't tell anyone of the radio message. Jack did wonder when the sterlizing would begin.

Tyler was walking down the street as his radio began buzzing. "Shh, listen," he said to the others as he turned the volume up:

"---- command. Infection level has ---- 100%. Negative -ommand, no change of -----. Roger command, Hartford will need to be sterilized within ---- hours to prevent further contamination. Negative command, prevent anyone from leaving the ------ area."

"Oh my god..." Tyler replied, "They aren't letting anybody out..." he said nervously. "WHat do you think sterilize means?" Tyler asked thinking it might mean bombing the town into the stone age.

"Not letting anyone out? That's messed up! We might have to go through the sewers to escape. It's your call though."

"Who are you two? Also I'm Jack. I'm part of the National Guard. Have you found any other surivors so far?" Jack stared at the girl.

"Jack, don't you know its rude to stare?" she answers back "I'm Amy and i'm with Matthew and Mr Anderson, our teacher.

Theres only us as far as we know. It looks like the people who made it here last night weren't safe for very long"

"Something out there. This guys could of taken care of those zombies easily. Also it is nice to meet you Amy." Jack looked around nervously.

you always do this when you are RPing. Your character meets a girl and then becomes crazily obessed and thinks she is the most beautiful person ever... knock it off already and act like a normal human being.

"now we're all here" Amy suggests "now we can check the rest of the building"

She opens the next door and finding it's in darkness turns on the small flashlight.

She cautiously checks the area and finds the light switch. Flicking it on she's greeted by the remains of a zombies feast. Half devoured corpses are everywhere, blood pools are on the floor and a lone zombie wearing a national guard uniform is in the room.

Being too busy enjoying its meal it dosen't even notice when Amy clubs it in the head twice killing it for good.

Mathew got up, clutching his new M-16, he followed Amy into the room, not caring about the gory scene inside. "Looks like there’s no help here, we should go back to the city soon."

"Where in the city though?" Gabe Anderson said as he followed behind Matthew, "Every place is just as dangerous. I suggest we stay here for a bit to plan what to do next. We should block the gate right now." he said this looking in the general direction of the exit of the building.

Frank heard gunshots and immediately jumped out of the closet. He ran around a corner and saw Alexis running toward him. Grabbing Alexis, he turned and went into a room.

Frank began to barricade the door with the tables and chairs in what appeared to be an office of some sort. There were two windows and a closet in the room. Frank had the door fairly secure, so he sat on the floor.

"What in the hell was that?"

Alexis was startled by frank, she thought frank was another zombie. She was imbarrased that she was startled so easy.

" What the fuck is wrong with you, I almost blew your damn head off, jumping out on me like that" she said after they were in the room, she was obviously mad at him. Her hands were shaking, not from seeing all the blood, or even the fact that she killed five zombies, but that she almost killed frank. Her eyes began to tear but she wiped them away before frank could see. Finally getting ahold of herself she explained to him what had happend.
" This place is crawling with those things, we need to get out of here now" She ended " I found this gun and radio on a dead security guard, I have three rounds in this clip and anohter full clip, looks like the guard tried to defend himself" she said showing frank the gun, radio, billy club, and hand cuffs that she took off a dead hospital security guards body. She was still nervous but had calmed down a little.

Roy acted. His time was now. He took his TMP and slammed it into Tyler's face, knocking him out. At the same time he took a syringe and jammed it into Richard's neck. He injected the virus. Richard colappsed. Roy took the shotgun he was using and pointed it and the TMP at Alice. "Don't move." Roy found an entrance to the sewer. He put the shotgun down, and opened up. He grabbed the shotgun and jumped down. He ran as fast as he could do make sure no one would catch him.

Amy suggests "we could park one of those buses in the parking lot across the main gate. One of us would have to stay on watch in case some of them got in under it but it would be fairly secure"

Richard hit the ground, rolling screaming as an intense pain began to spread from all parts of his body. Looking up at his comrades, he saw maybe imagined but to him definatly there murder in their eyes.
"GET AWAY FROM ME!" He screamed, running down the street......

Amy says "I'll look for a large enough bus but I doubt I'll be able to drive it. I'll need some help"

Alice stated. She helped Tyler up once Roy had gone. She also had no idea what to do with Richard now....

Meanwhile, in the sewer...

As Roy ran, a rifle butt emerged from the corner and slammed into his forehead. Considered how fast Roy was running, and how hard the person slammed him in the face, Roy thrown into the air and slammed back down a few inches away. The same, masked soldier from before emerged, and pointed the M-16 at Roy, a green dot appearing on Roy's head from the laser sight.

Roy jumped up. He didn't care if he died or not. He accomplished enough of his mission to by a success. He put his shotgun at his opponents head. "Look, kil me, tell me something, or I kill you. Make your choice. Now."

Frank looked down at the club and cuffs. He reached and snagged both of the items.

"Well, now we both have weapons," he said, walking to the window.

"There's a small ladder over there," he said, pointing toward the left, "Problem is, it's a bit off in the distance. We'd have to walk slowly along the ledge...and we don't know if any of those things are in any of the rooms."

Frank turned back toward Alexis. He could tell she was a bit startled.

"Look, I'm sorry for jumping out like that. I thought you were in trouble. Anyhow, we have to work toge-"

A loud banging was heard on the office door.

"Shit!"

"Holy crap..." Tyler said as he got to his feet with Alice's help. "What the hell just happened... I feel like I was hit in the head with a two by four," he stated as he rubbed the side of his head where the gun had hit and noticed blood was dripping out of a fresh wound.

"Son of a bitch!" he screamed when he saw the blood and noticed that both Roy and Richard had run away, though who had hit him he didn't know.

It was a normal day for Matt when he went to sleep. He was visiting a friend that lived in the city. Hell started to break lose out in the city but it was all unnoticed as he focused on getting some work done. He listened to music via his ipod while he typed away on his laptop more or less just using it to waste away the hours while he waited for his flight home. He looked at the clock on the computer and cursed. "Damn it." He said as he noted he had been piddling away on the computer for more that two days with no sleep. It was rare for him to sleep on a consitent basis. He wasn't really an insommniac but he just didn't like to sleep. Saw it as a waste of time.

"Screw it." He said as he gave up on the project he was working on and shut the laptop.

He stood up and streached with a great yawn and noted the closed blindes which he had taped shut to keep any light out of the room at all hours. The music in his ears blared loudly as he laid down on the bed his boots and pants still on with his shirt off as he closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep with the music playing.

All the things that could have kept him from noticeing the obvious chaos outside had happened be it the blindes, music, or his untimely time to got to sleep. Because when he did the power finaly went out in the hotel. But he was already asleep before he noticed.

He slept a dreamless sleep as the chaos reached a creshindo. The zombies that had been feasting on the easy prey where now searching buildings trying to get to the people that had barricaded themselves in their homes. But he was not comleatly doomed. The power going out had been a blessing in disguse as the battery of his ipod ran out just after a zombie burst thought the locked door of his hotel room. He opened his eyes and was puzzled for a moment as he sleeply saw the man shambling before him. But instantly the man let out a low moan and quickened his pace as threw itself at the bed.

Matt reacted instantly as the man fell towards him. He shot his legs straight up and out of the man reach as he fell clumsely facefirst onto the bed. Bringing his steel plated boots down on either side of his attackers head he clamped them together around his head and threw himself off of the bed sideways and spun one full time before he hit the ground as he brought the man with him.

His attacker didn't move as he lay on the floor. "Dead." He noted as he saw the odd angle of his neck. He stood for a second and let his brain catch up with his body which took only a few seconds.

"This is going to be a pain in the ass." He said to himself as he thought about filling police reports. He wasn't worried about going to jail. It was clearly a case of self defense and he had a selective code of morals and killing someone in favor of his own survival wasn't against them so he was suprisingly calm aside from an accellerated heart rate from the adriniline.

He picked up the phone intending to let the hotel know what is going on so they could alert the authorities. But the phone was dead. "Odd." He said as he tested a lamp. Dead. And then as his senses picked up he noticed a chrous of moan echoing outside. He ripped the shades off the window and was amazed at what he saw. The city was under a blanket of chaos, discord, and fire. "What the hell did I miss?" He asked himself as he continued to take in the scene. He noticed also that people where fillinging about in groups walking slowly wandering in random direcitons.

He began to piece things together and ran over to his former attacker. Still dead of course but he noticed things that he hadn't before. He nudged him once with his boot to find that rigimortis had already set in and he was slightly decayed, and sported several wounds including some bullet wounds.

It didn't take a genius to figure out what had happened. But still most people would deny what was happening. He almost laughed at the situation. Almost.

"Zombies." He said. No soon had he said that did he hear the moans of more undead outside his room. He ran out the busted door and saw the hallway filled with them. And he was on the fourth floor.

With the hallways screwed he did the only thing he could. He ran back into the room and grabbed his leather trench coat and threw it on his bare back. He didn't have time to find his shirt. He just got the jacket on as he threw himself threw the window.

Glass shattered as he dove though and left quite a few cuts on what skin was exposed. He landed roughly on the fire escape just outside the window and shook the shards out of his hair and muttered. "Not as easy as I thought." He said as he immedietly ran down two flights of stairs and then jumped from the second story aiming for a steel pipe that was hanging from the fire escape a few windows over. He hit his mark and grabbed it but it wasn't as stable as he thought it was and snapped off as soon as he grabbed it.

He fell and landed on his feet hard going into a crouch to absorb the impact the pipe still in his hand.

"Out of the pan and into the fire." He said as he noticed a few undead take notice of him at the opening of the ally he had landed in. But at least he had a weapon he though as he felt the long pipe in his hand. It was about the same length as a quaterstaff and could be used as such.

"Martial art's don't fail me now." He said as he spun the pole quickly in his hands getting a feel for it. Even spinning around once before the first zombie got within range, as he came around and caught it with the backside of the pole in the temple with a dull clang before moving into an overhead strike to smash the top of the seconds skull in and then bringing the other end back up to the third ones head. He planted the pole on the ground and used to to brace himself as he used to polevault himself up as he brought the steel edge of his boot to the side of the last zombies face sending it to the ground and landing on it with the other boot crushing the skull in under his boot and heave frame.

Finaly having a different perspective of the city he looked around and saw a small group. Of what seemed to be some soldiers and a woman. He'd proboly attracted their attention with the zombies and hoped that his display had convinced them he was not a zombie.

Richard ran threw the streets mind whirling, as confused thoughts tried to form in his mind.
Tyler.......Jack......Alice.......Where is my family??.......My name is.....Rich....ard...What's happening.......

Suddenly Richard screamed falling into an alley, as pain like no pain he ever felt fell all over his body

"Alright," Gabe said unshouldering his rifle, "I'll do that."

He moved out of the building with his gun loaded and he was ready to shoot at anything that moved. He moved slowly for one of the buses, as so not to make to zombies outside the base notice thier presence, and slowly got in. Looking around, he saw that everything was clear so he started the car and quickly accelreated to block off the gate. He stopped the engine and got out of the bus. "Alright," Gabe shouted to the others, "I guess I am on watch first."

Amy checks the gap under the bus and does a circuit of the chainlink fence so she's sure it'll hold.

Satisfied with its sturdiness and feeling tired she finishes checking the reception area and finding all the rooms clear she turns on her radio again hoping for an update.

the same list if rescue stations is being repeated and she wonders if anyone has came out to check of they are still operational.

"probally not" she mutters to herself and cleans the blood and brains of her softball bat.

Gabe sat down for a moment, watching the gap under the bus, and started contemplating their options.

He hoped they could stay here, but he knew that they couldn't. We must not stay to long here, he thought to himself, otherwise we might lose our chances to escape altogether. We have to leave the city completely, but were to go?

He decided to leave it at that for now. He looked over at the national gaurdsman, "Its Jack right?" He called, "Do you know what supplies are stored in this base?"

OOC: Where are you guys currently at (the group of people I mean)? Frank and Alexis are in a hospital, and I think we should all join up or something.

The beast. It was hungry. And there was food to be found.

The large creature leapt through the sky, making another huge jump to the next building. At the back of the beasts minds a voice screamed intensely, but quietened by the minute. Richard held the reins no longer.
A face flashed into the beasts mind, at the same time a name
Tyler. The beast was not ready to face this opponent, but there was easier prey. Below the beast spotted a large vehicle.
Bus
It could smell men. And then it heard the voice
"Is Jack right?"
Jack. Another face, but also a feeling. Betrayal. Abandonment.
Sighting the maker of the voice, the beast once known as Richard stealthily crept down the building, its claws acting as friction for the vertical climb.....

Jack waited in the bus. He loaded his M-16 up and put it right next to him. Remebering the message from the army Jack needed to get the hell out of here. On the seat Jack fell asleep.

ooc: Topal, just don't kill us all imediatly. It will be more fun if you chase us around for a while.

Noticing that Jack was asleep, Gabe decided to forget his question. He felt stiff, sitting next to the bus and decied he would stand up and walk around a bit. Near the gap, of course, since it was his job to watch it.

As Amy leaned back in a typists chair with her feet up on a desk she could see the bus through the window near her. 'Everything was under control' she thought...

Crawling down the building, the beast slowly slunk into the shadows, as it attempted to avoid itself being spotted. Watching the area below the bus, the beast spotted a pair of feet. Crawling forward, the beast suddenly pounced underneath the gap, heading straight for the man's legs........

Amy swings her feet up and off the desk and leaves the building as soon as she sees her teacher falling back into the wall.

Still holding her bat she looks round when she hears the roar and for the first time since this nightmare starters she freezes when she sees the creature...

She looks round for a gun knowing her bat probally wouldn't do any good.

She sees her teachers rifle and being unable to work it tries to pull her unconcious teacher back with her while this creature is occupied.

The bullets hurt as they fell on the beasts skull, but in its blind rage the beast ignored the pain. Jumping onto Jack and pushing him to the floor, it viciously locked its razor teeth over Jack's head, and brought down its jaws together in one loud snap. The beast stood on its hind legs and roared. It would feast and lick its wounds, for now. It was dazed, but the bullets had failed to crack the skull....

The Beast took a swipe at Jack, aiming its long and vicious claws at his head.

Gabe faintly felt being draged but, fearing he was being dragged away to his death, he fell back unconsious again.

Amy drags Gabe into the building she was in and leaves closing the door. She knew she had to help Jack but wasn't sure how to without getting in the way of the bullets.

She tries to approach from the right side of the creature in an attempt to make it notice her instead.

Roy lost his patience. He slammed the masked person in the face with his shotgun. Then he continued to run. As he continued he heard a sound. He looked around and saw a plaga. Roy grabbed his flashlight, and shone it at the plaga. Plagas were weak against bright light, and the flashlight stunned it. Roy grabbed it and put it in a container. He would inject with the T-Virus later. Now he needed to run. Hopefully Richard took care off the other two.

Frank looked down at the club and cuffs. He reached and snagged both of the items.

Though blood was still running down the side of his head, Tyler had recovered his focus and stability enough to think straight and regain control over his motor skills. "What the hell did he hit me for?" he asked to Alice who seemed to be the only one who hadn't been affected from the brief exchange.

"He's a back stabbing fuck, that's why. He was obviously working for someone else the whole time."

She replied.

"But come on...we have to leave."

"Ahhh... what a prick," he said as his head was still pounding; though it would have been even worse if it weren't for the adrenaline rushing through him at the moment.

"Where were we going again?" Tyler asked as he could not remember what had happened just before he was smashed in the side of the head.

"I don't know..." She replied, defeated. If the Government had indeed sealed off every exit, there was no way out.

"Well, that is a lot of help," Tyler said sarcastically. "I just got my head banged in and you don't know which direction we were heading..." he sighed as he said it. He briefly looked down at the pavement where his blood had been collecting in a pool. "Lets go..." he said still holding his two M-16s as he walked down the road in the direction they had just come from.

"Wait...we were heading this way."

She replied, pointing the opposite way.

"Maybe we can find the water treatment plant...they have pipes there that empty into a lake a few miles outside of town."

Tyler had thought she didn't know the way as she had indictated so he was caught off guard when she called to him and told him which way to go. "I assume you know the water treatment planet is this way?" he asked as he did an about face and started walking in the direction she had indicated.

"Yeah. I did a story on it a couple of months ago."

She said, walking with him.

Roy kept moving. He had to find away out. This city had to have it's sewer attached to another one. He popped up out of a manhole and looked around ,but there was nothing. He went back down and continued.

"Yeah. I did a story on it a couple of months ago."

"Alright," he said, "You're the boss then..."

They continued walking down the road though Tyler got a wierd feeling as he felt it was too quiet.

The claw barely missed his head, but it still brushed Jack's head. Then Jack noticed the girl making some noise.

Well maybe not. Matt thought to himself as they walked off. "Didn't even notice me." He said to himself while he scraped the zombie gore off off his boot.

He couldn't quite hear what they where saying and he thought about following them. Allies where good in a situation like this, and they also seemed to be armed. And all he had at the moment was the steel pipe. He swung in around a few more times to fully get the feel for it as it wistled around his head. But allies did slow someone down. And if all he had to do was avoid a few stupid zombies then maybe he would be better of by himself.

No sooner had he thought that then had a low growl come from behind him. Matt spun immeditly just in time to see a giant blur leap towards him. He threw his arms up just in time for the steel pipe to stop whatever it was's claws from tearing him to shreads.

Razor sharp teeth snapped inches away from his face as he cringed from the smell of its breath. He had a close up view of was could only be described as a face striped of skin and an exposed brain. He could even see a thin film over the brain.

As the jaws came snapping down once again Matt shifted his head out of the way as the jaws snapped at the air beside his ear. He shifted his weight so that he threw whatever it was off of him. As it turnned around he swung the pipe around and slammed it as hard as he could into the side of the things face. While it seemed stunned for a second it did nothing to really harm it as it took another dive towards Matt.

He gripped the pole and placed one side on the ground as the thing came toward him. No able to stop it impailed itself on the pipe as Matt used it's own momentum against it as he leaned back and brough the thing over his head while it was on the pipe, removing it as soon as hit the ground.

Before the thing could recover Matt took two running steps and jumped off the back end of the creature. He held the pipe high into the air and brought it down as with all the force he could muster just as the thing brough it's head around on the back of it's neck, and like a rag doll it colapsed like a rag doll as it's neck snapped.

He breathed hard feeling exasted. "Allies it is." He said the new creature changing his mind. As he ran after them.

Roy popped up again. He saw nothing, but he came out anyway. He needed to get up out of the sewer. As he got up, he saw the two people running somewhere. "How the Hell did they survive Richard's mutation? Whatever happened, he would try to tack them. If anything else needed to be taken care of, he would call Wesker for support.

Corporal Nick Woden stopped in front of a door marked "Drug Storage--Authorized Personnel Only." Normally, it would have been locked six ways from Sunday, but it was open. Some doctor must have opened it to scrounge for medical supplies and hadn't bothered to lock it in his haste to escape. It suited Woden fine.

Woden nudged the door all the way open with the barrel of his rifle to make sure he wouldn't run into any nasty surprises. The room was empty. With a glance down the hall to make sure he was in the clear, Woden stepped in, took off his equipment pack, and opened it up. It was already full of canned goods, bottled water and juice, and snack chips, foraged from the cafeteria and a vending machine, respectively. Most of his gear, particularly his ammunition, was long gone. Nick searched among the shelves of pill bottles, picking out anything he recognized as useful: painkillers, stimulants, hemostatic medicine, antibiotics. On a whim, he grabbed some rolls of sterile gauze and two bottles of alcohol. Then he left, leaving the door ajar for any other survivor who might need to get in.

Woden was on the top floor of a hospital which was (unbelievably) relatively free of the living dead. Or at least, it was above ground. The doors to the basement were locked, and he could hear them shuffling and banging around inside. Let them, he figured. He had no reason to go down there.

His squad had been patrolling the area in a Humvee, looking for survivors. They'd somehow smashed into an overturned SUV (ironically, a Hummer H2). The impact had ruptured the vehicle's fuel tank, and several good friends had died in the ensuing explosion. He stayed in the vehicle just long enough to realize everyone around him was dead, then he bailed for safety. He'd avoided the shambling hordes long enough to reach the hospital, which seemed like a reasonable place to stop and regroup. His radio had been ruined in the explosion, so he turned to the next task--procuring essential resources and looking for survivors. Bingo on resources, zip on survivors.

Now, Woden was ready to leave. As he made his cautious way down the stairwell, he saw the body of another Guardsman sprawled on the landing. The pooling blood surrounding it suggested it was either dead or undead. Woden approached the body carefully, his gun trained on its skull. "Hey," he said softly. "Hey, can you hear me?" It never hurt to try.

An arm moved, sloshing some of the thick, half-coagulated blood. The miserable creature tried to raise itself up, but slipped comically on its own gore. A feeble moan escaped its ragged mouth.

"Sorry, brother," Woden said. He brought his boot down hard on the creature's skull, snapping its neck over the edge of a step. The body twitched, then went still.

Woden noticed it had a radio clipped to its belt. He picked it up and dialed to the designated frequency for this mission. "This is Corporal Nick Woden, Rescue Team Whiskey-Tango-Foxtrot, number three-two-oh-seven-niner-seven-oh. Come in, over."

Static.

"Command, if anyone can hear me, my squad is KIA. Our vehicle is out of commission. I am returning to base, over." As he left the hospital's double doors to face the apocalyptic chaos of the city, a sickening thought came to him. If the base is still there.

IC: "Hey you! yeah nation Guard right? well the Names Mick porter, Former SaS Major, mind if i walk with you? there it seems the undead have risen," Mick said, jogging over to the Man in the uniform, stopping immediatly when the bloke raised his gun
"Hey mate!, if its the eyes, i was born with em! there a real pain in the arse just lower the gun" Mick said, Sheathing his bayonet.

Gabe began to regain consiousness and noticed that he was alone in the building. He stood up, which made him increadibly dizy so he sat back down. He then noticed that he had a cut on his head. He took his tie off and raped it tightly around his head.

The beast was blind to the girl. I wanted Jack, and Jack only. Leaping forwards, the beast hoped to use its weight to bore Jack to the ground.
The bullets whipped into the beast and around it, but the beast was lost in rage, barely feeling the bullets...

Cpl.Kevin Smith had just helped the last civilian out of his HUMVEE and into the decimated National Guard base. His squad seemingly was the only one to of made it back to the base. There was blood, and body parts everywhere. He called all of the civilians to his attention and instructed them to get weapons and ammo. He arranged them and set up a crossfire, he knew that the rioters were coming for him and his makeshift defenders. Kevin scrounged around for ammo for his M-16 and M-9. Soon after, Dr.David Bush approached him, he was one of the survivors. The Civilians helped Kevin and DR. Dave set up a make-shift hospital. Dr. Dave examined his medical supplies-There were barely any, if none at all. So, Kevin left the hospital and walked into the foremer Radio Room. He had just walked in onto a SOS message from one of his Buddies in the National Guard. Kevin dashed over to pick up the radio screaming "Nick,Nick is that you?"

IC: "Jesus," Woden said. This guy's huge, he thought. "You scared the living crap out of me. Yeah, we should stick together--safer that way. I'm on my way to the National Guard base. They have a rescue station for survivors--if they're still standing. I haven't heard from them in over two hours. Keep your eyes open for any transportation that looks usable. I'd rather not cover all that ground on foot."

After a moment, he added, "I'm Nick Woden, by the way. What's your ammo situation?"

His radio crackled. "Nick? Nick, is that you?"

Nick grabbed his radio. "Is that Kevin? Kevin, what's your position?"

Woden tried the radio again. "Kevin? Kevin, or whoever this is, what's your position?"

Kevin shouted over the radio, "Nick, Thank God you are alive! Im back at the National Guard Base.I have set up a defense and we are organizing positions and escape routes. Whats your situation? Over." He walked back over to the medical tent, and told them that he was going to head back to the hospital for supplies. Kevin then grabbed some more ammo and threw it into a box. He hurried over to the HUMVEE. He threw the ammo into the passenger seat and pulled out his M9, jut incase. He headed out hoping to find Nick alive.

"I'm in front of Hartford Central Hospital. My squad's dead, my vehicle's a wreck, and I'm low on ammo. I've found one survivor. The area is clear, but I don't know how long it will stay that way."

"Just how bad is it at the base?" he asked.

Kevin on the road now, said "Well, the Base is in shambles. I have about 8 total personel back there, defending. About 6 can use a weapon, the other is a Doc and a badly wounded man. I just left for supplies from the hospital. Hold there, ETA is 5 minutes. I have a HUMVEE and ammo, so just hang on there, grab as much supplies and anything that can be used to barricade. And Nick, Give that Civilian your M9, just incase... Over and Out."

ooc: you have kind of forgotten that Richard the Zombie was attacking Jack in the base near the bus.

Amy jumps into the bus and closes the door hoping it will hold out against the creature while she sees Jack head back to the building.

ooc: The fight between Jack and Richard has lasted for days (real time). It has realy stalled our part of the rp. Since several more survivors have showed up, Richard would be better off trying to hunt down the three other pairs of survivors.

After awhile of walking, Alice and Tyler reached the water treatment plant. Of course, the windows were smeared with blood and the whole place was dark. Alice checked how manys rounds she had left, and sighed.

"Well, lets go."

Woden handed his pistol and a spare magazine to Mick. "If things get hairy, you'll want something more than that bayonet. Otherwise, I'd try to avoid shooting when possible. Ammo's short and those things seem to be attracted to loud noises." He turned back toward the hospital's double doors. "I've got a friend coming. In the meantime, I'd rather not be exposed on the street."

As woden opened one of the doors, he caught a glimpse of something down the hall. Many somethings. He closed the door. "Oh, hell."

OOC: Well he was the first person I saw really accept for the guy I knocked unconcious for later Rping (you will see, that was you wasnt it danard?).

The beast (OOC: Im going to leave it to THL to decide if Jack is dead.) leapt through the nearest bus window. There were humans nearby, and to many for the beast to handle. But there was one more the beast could take with ease. Leaping at Amy, the beast intended to break her neck with one diving swipe....

With the last strength in his body Jack pulled a pin on a grenade it tossed it toward the beast. Then Jack fell over dead.

"All right..." Tyler said as he too checked his M-16s. They continued to walk up towards the plant and he got the funny feeling that they weren't alone.

IC: the window glass didn't hold out against the creature and Amy suddenly thinks that going into the bus was a bad idea.

she backs off as the creature tries to catch her feet and smashes the front windscreen with her bat.

Fear catches us with her again as she screams loudly...

Gabe, hearing the scream, shoots up dizily. Amy, he thinks. But he could not do anything about it right now.

Kevin, now only half a mile away, calls up Nick on the radio, to check his status.

Gabe limped up to the door and pushed it open, "Amy, get in here!" Gabe shouts, looking around franticly for his rifle.

Amy sees her teacher, manages to stop screaming and jumps through the shattered windscreen but the creature manages to wound her left foot as she gets away from it.

Falling badly she bangs her head on the ground and is out cold, her foot wound bleeding badly..

Roy looked over from the hiding spot he was in. Jack seemed nervous. "Maybe I should do something for him." Roy noticed a group of zombies that had not yet noticed the two. He took his TMP and took some sots near the two. He missed intentionally, but now the zombies knew they were there. "Happy Hunting." Roy said as he hide again.

Mathew was asleep through most of the battle out side, had awoken just before Amy had screamed. He grabbed the M-16 that was lying next to him and got to his feet, then ran to the nearest door.

He saw Amy lying unconscious and the other creature, he brought the M-16 to his shoulder and fired a 3 round burst.

Woden responded to Kevin's radio inquiry. "I'm not sure how, but the first floor of the hospital is crawling with undead. They may have come up from the basement. We're outside; the doors won't hold them. Where the hell are you?"

mick deftly loaded the pistol, and cocked it, his eyes glowed, he looked around, pistol in one hand, bayonet in the other
"we should try to find a gun shop, that way we could get more high powered weapons, and i could get a rifle of some sort, and then we would have more chance to fight the enemy" mick said, hoping to find an automatic weapon, from th Woman he met years ago, jill was her name, she kept going on and on about zombies and Umbrella, but he remebered her saying that pistols were near usless.

"Mathew," Gabe said, "Help me get Amy inside, now!"

Kevin now rounding the corner of the hospital signaled to the Pair to jump into his HUMVEE. Kevin threw his M-16 to Mick and gave handed them the ammo box. He quickly got out of the HUMVEE, opened the door to the hospital and threw his 3 grenades into it. He ran quickly back to the HUMVEE and they drove off, but not the same route, he heard that Mick suggested that the M9s weren't gonna do much damage so the headed off to the local gunshop...

"welll, i ve got the m-16, so ill be the turret gunner, but lets hope we find a few shoutguns, they are apparebtly very useful at times liek these" Mick said, eyes kept on the horison

"Do you have a rifle, cause I can't fire this weapon on the move."

"Just help me get her inside now, god damit!" He shouted has he put his arms under Amy's arms and began to lift her up.

"I'll keep you covered so don't worry."

"Thanks for the save," Woden said as they cruised down the ruined street. "About the guns, these nine-millimeters actually do alright if you shoot the creatures in the heads," he said. "Shotguns might be good against large groups, but you'd be taking a risk. Actually, you'd be taking a big risk by stopping at all. Isn't there any ammunition left in the base armory?"

"Nah" said Kevin. "All of it was dispensed among the civilians.I know that it is a very high risk, but we aren't gonna see the living daylights with just this, we need more mate. But, luckily there is a local gunshop i know of, got some real good SMGs and High Caliber Pistols. It happens to be just 3 blocks from here..."

"i was told about this happening before by a woman named jill valentine, you guys remember the nuking of Raccoon city? welll this shit happened there too, only here the Army was sent in, not just Umbrella Mercs, i know a lot more than people think, and im smarter than people give me credit, due to my size, trust me, high powered weapons are the order of the day" mick said

Gabe began to half cary, half drag Amy to the doorway.

The beast sprinted forwards prepared to hurl itself at is fleeing and weakened prey, but now a man was dragging her. Roaring with rage the beast prepared to do one last killing leap when suddenly Jack, with his last breath, hurled the grenade. The grenade sailed through the air just falling short of the beast, where it triggered. The beast was hurled from its feet, knocked into a wall that buckled slightly under the beasts weight. It seemed the man was not dead. Well the beast would finish that. Limping back to the bus, the beast grabbed Jack, biting off his head and ignoring the retreating pair lumbered into the streets. It would find cover, feast and lick its wounds. The the hunt would continue......

"how far now" Mick asked, shooting a zombie in the head.

"Right around this corner" said Kevin popping a few rounds into a nearby Zombie..

Mike sat in a chair of the second story aparment. His parents had left the day before the infection separted. His hand was around his father's Remington 700. The last two days he shot the zombies from the second story. Most of them didn't even notice him. Playing on a record player was "Make Your Own Kind of Music" by Cass Elliot. He was wearing a bandana made from a green strip of cloth. Seeing a zombie he picked up the Remington 700 and aimmed for the zombie's head. This slow moving targets were easy compared to deer. Aimming for the head he pulled the trigger. The bullet entered it's head and the zombie fell over. He still had fifty bullet for the Remington and a brunch of food, but he hadn't seen anyone else in the last two days. He sat back in his chair and remebered about school. The only person he remebered was Amy Halder. She was one of the popular people had school. Mike was a distance person and didn't make friends. He was the outcast of the school. Getting up from the chair he stopped remebering and got a coke. He was wondering how the hell he was going to get the hell out of this city.

The HUMVEE rounded the corner, no rioters to be seen. Kevin got out of the HUMVEE adn bashed open the window into the gun shop. He ran over to the SMGs and looked anxiously. Then he found it, a TMP. Kevin grabbed it and slung it over his shoulder, then he quickly headed over to the older weapons rack. He looked at old M1 Carbines and some bolt actions, and then found what he was looking for, a WW2 B.A.R. (Browning Automatic Rifle), one of the most powerful weapons, just reently decommissioned due to the lacking age. Kevin went into the back and found 15 clips each containing 15 bullets for his M9. He also found 20 clips containing 30 rounds for his TMP and 20 clips containing 20 bullets for his BAR. Kevin put the BAR ammo into his M-16 ammo belt, it fit perfectly. He grabbed an ammo belt and placed the TMP ammo into it. He handed some M9 ammo to Mick. Kevin went back outside and mounted the turret with his BAR hoping that the rioters would not find them...

"Jesus" mick gasped. looking a two swords on the wall, he raced over to them, taking the katana and the Broadsword, before returning to the Humvee.

already the infection had started to do its work and Amy was feeling warmer.

she partially came round and fainted again as she was being dragged. The last thing she see before she lost consciousness was Jack's bloodied corpse and her own shredded left trainer and bloodied left foot.

OOC: does anybody in the party know the signs of infection? Amy dosen't even know that herself.

Gabe dragged Amy through the doorway and shouted to Matthew, "Get in!"

Gabe layed Amy on the ground and looked around. He saw a sink in the conner with a cabnit under. He opened the cabnit and saw towels, so he grabed two and got one wet.

He ran back over and he wraped her foot with the dry towel. "Wake up Amy." Gabe said as he put the wet towel on her forehead.

Kevin looked at Mick and then casually asked him, "Hey, my name is Kevin Smith, we haven't really had a formal meeting.Nice to meet you" Kevin then extended his hand.



OOC: About Amy, maybe try pouring some alcohol onto her wound, maybe that could kill/slow down the viruses

Amy's eyes fluttered open and then half closed.

she tried to say something but it just came out as a soft moan. however she was partially awake.

the wet towel cooled her for now but the mild fever was still burning.

"Gday" mick said, giving kevin a firm handshake

"now when this is over, i ll buy the first roud a beer" mick laughed

"Yeah" said Kevin. "If we make it out alive. I see you are wearing military camo, you ex-military?"

"Former SaS Major, Aussie if you coulnt tell from the Accent" Mick grinned

"and by the way, have no mercy for these zombies, for they will hav none for you, and if you get bitten and dont have an antidote, well, suicides your only option" Micks black eyes seemed bottomless when he said that.

"Just hang in there," Gabe said as he looked back at her at her foot, which looked like it was begining to get infected, "You'll be OK."

"Matthew," He called, "See if you can find any medical supplies here."

Mike was bored here. Here decided to check out the city. Grabbing his Remington 700, iPod, ammo, wirecutters, food, and a backpack to put it all in. Going down to the first floor he got on his bicycle. After opening the garage door he rode off, but he was afraid of the zombies getting him. The zombies could barely try to get him. After riding his bike sometime he thought it was a good idea to go to the national guard base. Riding his bike he came up to a fence. Getting the wirecutters Mike cut a small hole in to the base. He left his bike and saw what to be the remains of a National Guardmens. He couldn't find a M-16, but found a M9 and ammo. He had three clips for the M9 and one was inside it. After walking around sometime he found what to look to be a group of surivors. Walking up the door and opening it he found Gabe, Amy, and Mathew.

"Look who I found?"

"Well mate, it is good to have you along." Kevin grinned. "Well, we had better go and find out what Nick is up to in there, and Mick, here is the rest of my M-16 ammo, you are gonna need it..."

"thanking you kindly" mick said, loading his weapons and strapping his swords to his belt.

Amy by now was close to falling asleep. With her vision blurring she could barely make out details anymore as she looked up at the ceiling.

with the fever continuing she was steadily getting warmer and she managed to murmur "too warm, need to cool down"

OOC: Lmao he brought wirecutters. Wasnt that lucky. Btw you could find the T-virus cure or wtever.

The beast quickly fled the base. Already it could feel its flesh healing, helped alot by the fresh meat. But the beast had to move on and find more food. Once again leaping from roof to roof, the beast spotted the thing it identified as an HUMVEE and its mounted machine gun.
Meat. Danger. Gun.
Leaping ahead over taking the HUMVEE, the beast crawled down a building, and spotted two cars. Slowly a plan formed in its mind. Pushing the two cars so that they blocked the road, the beast slunk into the shadows ready to ambush the enemy. (OOC: greater Mactopia thats you.)

Kevin slung the BAR over his head and made it fit snugly, then he whipped out his TMP, he disengaged the safety and turned on the red laser that was right under the barrel. Kevin placed the TMP right on his shoulder and held it down, ready for anything, he slowly approached the back room. Kevin entered it and hit a metal object, it was a ammo box. Kevin picked it up and looked inside. He then took out his flashlight and looked around for anything. He managed to find 3 flashlights and a roll of duct tape. Kevin also found a small minifridge stocked with water,soda and chips. Kevin threw it all into the box saying to himself that the owner wasn't going to need it. Kevin then walked back out into the main room, finding a nice machete, he picked it up and proceeded to drop it off back in the HUMVEE. Kevin took his M9 and strapped one of the small flashlights to it right under the barrel using the duct tape. Kevin then cracked open a soda and handed one to Mick. They stayed there for the moment waiting for Nick to grab his weapons. All during this, Kevin opened the rear of the HUMVEE, and found a Kevlar Vest, a portable Radio, and some MREs. Kevin took the Kevlar Vest and noticing that Mick didn't have one, he handed it to him. Kevin then told Mick to watch the HUMVEE while Kevin walked over to a nearby Police Curiser. The cops were nowhere to be found. So Kevin bashed the window on the driver's side open. He went back and found a piece of tubing in a nearby Trash Bin. Kevin quickly ran back to the shop grabbing another large, sealed ammo tin, he emptied the contents containing some ammo for pistols and the M-16s and siphened the Gas into the Tin. Kevin then opened the rear trunk, he found a Shotgun with 24 Rounds, a Glock with 3 clips, a Kevlar Vest, some Flares and lighters. Kevin was overjoyed at the find. He signaled Mick to come and help him put the supplied in the HUMVEE. After that was completed, Kevin went back and took a Map out of the Glove Compartment of the HUMVEE and plotted their route. Kevin suggested that they make for the Airstrip, there were a few planes there and perhaps, they could fly out.


OOC: Hang on, our last member still ahsn't come out of the Gun Shop, adn hasn't posted yet so just chill. :D

Mathew nodded. "I'll get anything I can find." Then heading towards the medical area he had seen earlier.

Nick searched the shelves behind the counter, holding his equipment pack open and dumping things into it. "Two-twenty-three, two-twenty-three," he muttered, then, finding a few boxes of the appropriate ammunition, he dumped them in with the rest. It amounted to about a hundred rounds. He found four empty post-ban magazines that would fit his M16 and took those too. Once loaded, they would hold only five rounds each, but that was better than nothing.

Kevin had suggested heavy weapons. There were a number of high-caliber pistols lying around, but Woden couldn't for the life of him see the tactical advantage of using them against zombies. He looked for a good shotgun, but most seemed to have been looted. There were plenty of shells, though. He grabbed a few boxes of XX buckshot (40 shells) and a half-empty box of slugs. He reasoned that they might come in handy at the base. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a tactical side-pack used for storing ammunition. It would be a lot more convenient than keeping the ammo in his backpack. He grabbed it.

Something under the counter caught his eye--a Benelli M3 Super 90, probably the owner's. Nick slung it over his shoulder and wondered why the owner hadn't taken it. When things got bad, he reasoned, he might have taken a more powerful gun from the shop itself.

It was awkward, carrying the rifle and the shotgun, along with a pack that was now too full. He followed the others outside and dumped some of his equipment in the Hummer. "We ready to get moving?" he asked.

Mick almost answered, when he saw it, a Styer, the Australian military Bullpup rifle, he ran in, grabbed it and the Two magg next to it and headed fot the humvee
"lets get the fuck outta here" mick said.

"I will help him." Mike followed Mathew and started to talk. "You probably don't know me. I'm Michael Vronsky. I go to your school."

"Come back quickly." Gabe replied as Matthew left.

He looked up when the door opened and nodded at what Mike said. Gabe walked back over to the sink to wet the towel.

"Bout dang time" said Kevin eagerly. Kevin was just about ready to leave when something had caught his eye, something lurking in the shadows. Kevin went over and dumped the gasoline on the road and layed a line of rope to it. It was just precautionary, but whatever. Kevin signaled to them to get into the HUMVEE. Kevin ran back to the HUMVEE and reached out and lit the rope...


OOC: Hey this super zombie isn't like really fast is it? I mean, most zombies are slow and stuff and won't try to set out the fire that I just lit, just saying.

As Alice and Tyler walked toward the plant, they were stopped by a smashing sound. They turned to see several cracks being formed around a manhole. After a few more small tremors, a giant humanoid hand emerged, followed by the rest of the creature. It was a T-103 Tyrant, the only mass-produced Tyrant model in Umbrella. It slowly walked toward the two, preparing it self to massacre them.

The same was happening all over the city as several T-103's were released due to the malfunctions caused by the Illumnido operatives...

"jesus christ tyrant, GET THE FUCK IN THE HUMVEE, WE NEED TO GET MOVING!" mick ye4lled, raising his Styer, taking carefulaim at the Tyrants head, he flicked the safety off and cocked his weapon
"any time now COMON!" he yelled, puttin precise bulletholes in the tyrants head

Kevin jumped into the Drivers Seat, he hit the gas and they were off, He instructed Nick to shoot anything and anything. There was no way that they were going to make their way to the airbase. They could perhaps get back to the National Guard base, but he asked them what they wanted to do.

Woden very suddenly realized why Mick had been so keen on heavy weapons. He deeply regretted not grabbing one of the magnums he'd seen at the gun shop.

Nevertheless, he tried to remain calm, and he urged the others to do the same. "Keep your rifles on single-fire or three-round-burst! Make sure every shot counts!" He rattled off a few shots at the hulking creature's head.

"you know what i waht, a fucking helicoper full of finly trained SAS and delta soldiers with AWRP weapons" mick sai, firing round after round into the tyrants head, more shots were hitting than missing

"Well" said Kevin. "We are closer to the Airstrip so I guess we will got there, assuming that it is still standing. And Mick, I would highly doubt it if we are the only infected town, I think that perhaps all of the tri-city and maybe even country is infected, so, we had better get out of here." He then turned to Nick "Put out a broadcast saying to pull to the Hartford Intl. Airport, we are going Airborne and we will not come back for anyone, and if they have anyone who is infected, Meaning bitten, shoot them in the head, sooner vs. later. One less zombie to deal with. Now Do it!"
