I can understand the confusion and tempers rising here okay... this is because the map hasn't been updated. Now I don't see it as my right to do it cuz i've been working a lot recently and also I don'tcarry the knowledge availble to update and then upload the map. But if someone were to update the map then post it here then that would clear up the confusion.

I thin it's hogsweat's duty to allocate new territory areas on the map around and on the surround land masses.

Lets just except the confusion and human nature that some people don't have the time to wade their way through masses of posts in the space of only half an hour.

Just because you claim a territory doesn't mean you'll get it. It up to HS to make the final decision. Territories are not your's unless HS approves your claim, or unless you capture them in a war.

I understand entirely where you are coming from HS and I completely appreciate the time and effrot it takes to manage all these colonies, I just didn't realise the limit wasn't extended every time new plots were added. I assumed it was 5 per update which was wrong. I didn't want those colonies because of the serious lack of coastal areas (actually there isn't any), and the fact that it is isolated from the couple allies I have. I will not decided to unclaim colonies anymore. If I so choose not to have a colony, I will make an RP with the little native tribes raiding communities in other nations, provoking retalitory assaults and the demise of the colony.

You may have just answered this but, you just gave me three entirely difference colonies from what I made claims for. I don't mind because there is a coastal area and it is boardering North Saint Clair, but I must inquire as to why the idea of the "Three Points" was rejected.

Fedski, I was in the wrong: i thought you wanted your colonies claimed in this thread on page 17 to be dropped and replaced with the ones in page 18; I didn't realise until just now you wanted the ORIGINAL 11,10,12, dropped. Sorry, my apologies, this is entirely possible.

'Tis almost exactly what I claimed, but its not worth the effort to fix it. I thank you both (HS and TSS) for your efforts in clarifying my claims.

This is a colony land that Hogsweatia decided to set up. Basically he made a large land mass and sliced it up into lots of little sections. People began requesting space and he gave them away. Once you gain a colony you can RP it.

Basically its a way of getting a lot of RPs with some relevance to each other

Colonies to my nation is a reason to give the people added support to the propeganda machine of hereticalism (in Osea's RPing) and gives me something to do without losing half my nation in the process.

Everything that happens in Amestria's colonies stays in the colonies (unless it involved WMD, that opens up a whole new can of worms)...

Just a note if you and DMG do have a little skirmish I might have to join in seeing as it's really close to my colonies and within SAM and SSM range. :p

... uhm... what IS open here anyways? I mean, I want a nice slice of land, but what appears to be available is nothing but sector 18, a VERY tiny piece of land that I don't want.

It also appears that the white blob on the western island is available, but unfortunately... I don't have any kind of Paint program to show what I want.

So... when Questers/Hogsweatia/whatever updates the map, I request that he provide a custom island for me, in the relative shape of Madagascar, and about the size of the colony named "India", but a bit smaller, to be fair. The name of the colony will be "Pracowity", and the island should be located in a relatively isolated section of the "region", perferrably in the middle of the southwest sea.

I thank you in advance if you do this, and I'll try to check back often. :)

P.S. Maybe you should start booting people that don't start RPing their colonies and saying so here after, say, a month starting from today. I personally plan to use my little future island as my "homeland" if you will, as I RPed it being a colony of Poland.

Yeah, see, the problem is, I have no military. Truitt is God-Knows-How-Many-Times my size and most likely has a big-ass military. RPing a one-sided war, no matter how good it is played out, will not be fun. Admit it. Being raped and not being able to do a thing about it is not fun AT ALL.

Plus, after that, it's gonna be hard to be in this RP again if I'm killed, as I'll be RPing the "colony" I will have as my home-territory. And I really, REALLY want to stay in this RP.

I doubt Hog would give all that land to just one nation...he'd probably split it up into multiple sections. However, LB, just to let you know: if you do get some land in that area, Truitt's probably going to get imperialist on you. He's already gotten fairly aggressive in my general direction (see his thread "Fixxxer"). Quite frankly (and cynically), you'd be a buffer between me and him.

Yeah, Hal has a point, as soon as you claim it, Truitt will invade, I've already touched off a military exchange with him.

Yeh I know TSS. I only listed the requests for numbered lands as there were multiple for large unclaimed area and I didn't feel like going back through much of the thread for it. SU only used my list (I think) so thats why it wasn't on there.

It looks sort of like DC controls it, but that isn't the case. DC controls that southern area, but not the one indicated. I think I remember the Isle of Skye having that, but I'm not sure.

I have not forgetten about my colony which has been dubbed "Republic of Pink". Once the RPing in Torontia is over, I will have time to RP the development of this colony. Currently, there are a couple millions Torontian refugees in 2 cities and some smaller villages. The military garrison consists of 100 or so marines, 40 carrier based F-5 Tiger IIIs, two Chinooks. Two charles de gualle aircraft carriers, 1 cruise, 4 destroyers, 2 figates and 10 patrol boats are also there.

For those on "Noname" Island, that island where myself, Omz222, and TSS and others are on, you might want to check here. A sorta of treaty to make a more stable and semi-peaceful island. Also to ensure no one goes arms crazy (stares blankly at LB).

ooc: that is a rather broad question. I would suggest anything that a normal military would have (i.e. tanks, aircraft, naval vessels, etc)

I did a fair while back asking to transfer my claim on the small two-island group on the lower right hand side (next to the larger set of islands) to Yafor 2 and claim 999 instead, which is already adjoining my territory in any case.

You can say what you want... but check the last time he has logged onto either of the NS Nations he uses (Questers and Hogsweatia). It has been 15 days since he has used them...

Last time i saw one of his messages was about his war with questarian. He logged in from school.

awesome! I doubt Hog will have any problem with you helping out... and I certainly don't. In fact I applaud you... this way I won't have to continually answer questions and direct people.

The only problem is that we can't update the front map... which is where every new person looks first...
