The Patriarch Alexander Masaki, in a rare showing outside of Jurai, has decided to take the Elite Star Destroyer Smilodon to the meeting. Though old, it shows that he's still active. Once boarded, he sent a message:

I, Patriarch Alexander Masaki, do hereby state my intentions to attend this meeting.

With that, the ship lept into hyperspace for Bevelle.

Before departing Atlantis in his Cheops class long-range mothership, the I.S.S. Golden Path, Emperor Bridger had a message sent.

I, Holy Emperor Nathan Hale Bridger I of the Holy Empire of SeaQuest, shall attend this meeting myself. I shall arrive in my private Cheops class vessel. As is standard operating procedure when I travel in this method, five Bug class attack ships shall be escorting the Golden Path on this journey.

After the missive had been sent, the Golden Path and her five escorts dissapeared into Hyperspace Windows en route to the planet Bevelle.

"Executor, we are about to come out of darkspace."

"Good. Ready my personal coralskipper and inform the local authorities of our approach when we arrive. I will also require two escorts."

"Yes, Executor."

Once out of darkspace ( hyperspace ) and inside the Bevelle system, the Commander of Yammka's Mount contacted Neo Zetan authorities to inform them of their arrival, inquire about landing zones + assigned orbit and to inform them of the Executor's means of conveyance to the surface.

The shuttle landed at the assigned landing pad. Dusanyu and Admiral Spoor both exited the shuttle and greeted the contigent of clone guards. Both looked almost identical with their blue and grey Star Forces uniform along with blue cape and command saber tucked away in the back. The only difference was in Dusanyu's tiarra which was gold to show royalty.

Spoor's long blue hair blew in the wind and her piercing red eyes moved back and forth from clone to clone. "Please escort the way."

After receiving landing coordinates and orbital assignments, a trio of coralskippers broke off from Yammka's Mount and began their descent into the atmosphere. A quarter of an hour later, the three space rock-looking vessels touched down on their assigned landing pad. Seconds later the mica-like cockpit hatches popped open to allow the pilots out.

First out was Executor Kunra, dressed in a black and gold living robe and carrying a villip communicator. Bearing the usual scars and deformations of a Talaaxian of his rank, Kunra was a grotesque sight at best. Scarred, tattooed, broken and mutilated, most non-Talaaxians would find the Executor hard to look at for more than a few moments. After surveying the landing pad with his one eye he relaxed his plaeyrin bol implant and motioned for the warriors to come forward.

Slightly taller than the Executor, the two warriors were no less scarred and mutilated. Clad in full living voduun crab armour and standing much taller than almost all humans, they were very imposing. With amphistaffs coiled around their arms, the two warriors stepped up to flanking positions slightly behind the Executor.

Turning to the nearest guard or official, Kunra spoke. "I am Executor Nas Kunra of Talaax. I represent Supreme Overlord Choka, beloved of the Gods. I am here to attend the GFFA meeting."

The Clones escorted the new arrivels to where King Bradley was. King Bradley wasnt a tall man. Average hight at best with a stroung build. His left eye was covered with a eye patch from a scar taken in battle long ago. He kept it to remind him of what foolish mistakes can cost him. He smiles as the others are brought

" Hello i am honored to have you all here. Neo Zeta is proud to host this event."

He looks Kunra " I welcome you here Executor Kunra. I have heard much of your race from the Abh and hope to learn more."

He then looked to Alfred Von Antheron. " Your highness its good to meet you atlast. I have heard much of you from our history books. A great leader and a man who shares our hate for the Gaians."

The Golden Path and her escorts drop out of a Hyperspace Window in orbit of Belleve. A transmission was sent to the planet below.

This is the I.S.S. Golden Path. We request the co-ordinates for the city that the meeting will take place in. We will land outside the city limits as you most likely do not have any pyramidal landing platforms we could make use of. The SeaQuestian Emperor awaits.

OOC: Bridger wants to have an imposing entrance and land in the Cheops itself.

The Smilodon exits hyperspace about the same time the others exit their FTL. Then the Patriarch hears a message.

All ships enter standered orbit tho keep atleast 3 km between yourself and orbital defense stations. Please use docking padd A9 level 23 However you may use transporters if you so wish.

The Star Destroyer enters orbit as instructed. Soon, a Royal-class Lambda shuttle descends onto the planet, escorted by a pair of X-wings. The trio of light ships land gracefully on the designated docking pad, which appears to be quite big, and the ramp on the large shuttle lowers.

A very old man in regal dark clothing and cape and carrying a cane for support walks down the ramp, flanked by a pair of burly blue-clad Royal Guards. Of course, the Guards weren't really needed due to the fact that the old man carries a lightsaber on his belt, denoting his status as High Jedi Master of the Order, but one must keep appearances. Or so Old Alex believed.

Holy Shit! Grandpa's a Sith Lord!

But despite appearances, there's no mistaking the great power within the Patriarch. After all, this was the man who has seven powerful grandchildren and one great-grandson with potential.

He walks up to Fuhrer Bradley. "I have heard much about you, my friend."

"I am honoured to be here." Kunra responded, glancing around with his one eye. "I can see that our peoples have much to learn from one another. Perhaps when this meeting is adjourned we can discuss our respective cultures. In the meantime, I will leave you to greet your other guests."

Noticing for the first time the moral outrage in the eyes of his guards, Kunra pulled them aside for a moment. "You may not like the way these people live, Commander, but you will respect them as allies and honourable hosts. They may utilize abominable machines, but they are our allies. Perhaps in time we can teach them the err of their ways and show them the True Path, but until then, you will respect them and do a better job of hiding your emotions."

"I am not a diplomat, Executor, I am a warrior! It is a stain on me just being around these abominations..." The Commander responded angrily.

"Be that as it may, Commander, you are still under my command and until such time as I leave your vessel you will obey me! Otherwise I may be forced to bother the Supreme Overlord with a request to clarify your orders...."

The Commander suddenly deflated noticably. Taking such a petty dispute to the Supreme Overlord would surely mean a most dishonourable death for him. "Executor, I will obey. My life in payment if I do not."

"See that you do Commander, or I will take your life before this mission is over..." Kunra said, turning back to the rest of the gathering with a big smile plastered on his face. "My apologies. My subordinate is, most unfortunately, rather undiplomatic but I assure you that he will behave himself from now on."

The Cheops (http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b91/SeaQuest_Sim/Jaffa/pymlaunch.jpg) descends through the atmosphere towards the designated co-ordinates. As he didn't want to create too much of a disturbance, Bridger did not have the have the Ion Diffusers activated. The storm they created worked best in desert environments anyways.

Thirty minutes later...

The Golden Path touched down on the ground. A cloud of dust billows out from where she touches down. After the gravitic engines are brought off-line, she pulls the final trick of her class. The outer armor actually opens up revealing open windows and the door at the bottom where Emperor Bridger would depart. The unfolded hull (http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b91/SeaQuest_Sim/Jaffa/pymground.jpg) of the ship was quite impossing. Emperor Bridger walked down the ramp that extended from the door and awaited his welcoming party.

Acknowledged. Our representative shall arrive momentarily.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

A few seconds later, without a hum or crackle of electricity, or even a pop of displaced air, three figures materialized at the coordinates.

The first of the three, flanked by the other two, wore a simple black and gold pinstriped business suit, with golden cufflinks and an onyx tie holder. His skin seemed to glow with a strange inner energy, he didn't so much stand on the ground as much as hover approximately half a centimeter above it. He kept his jet black hair slicked back, and his tpp perfectly sculpted face held an expression of amicable amusement. Tucked under his right arm was an onyx cane with a golden cougar statuette at the head.

The two creatures at his sides would have made babies several blocks away cry with inexplicable intensity. They looked like four armed metallic werewolf terminators, with razor sharp fangs and claws, and a malevolent green glow in their eye sockets. As the man moved, they moved, with awe-inspiring synchronicity. They stepped forward.

"Baron Aeraeon Skye, Triad Primarch. I do hope I am not too late for the proceedings."

"Then, would you be kind enough to explain the reasoning behind not informing us of this coalition previously? With respect to the recent upleasantries between my forces and those of your two co-founders, it would have been a very nice thing to know."

Baron Skye alternatively indicated himself and Alex, then continued. "Our two nations are very close, Mister Masaki, good communication is paramount, and in this case could have averted a great many losses. We had sworn to assist the 'Republic' in times of need, and that was one. Had we known of this connection, it would have been far easier to engage in a diplomatic solution to the conflict, rather than pitting us in a two-front war.

"I shall point out that I am not angry about this, as the battle was good to us, and we discovered that Onslaught is amazingly effective. However I am curious as to why you did not caution or censure them for cooperating with the Chronosians, who very obviously intended to exact bloody penance against the Republic, and have now placed a kill-on-sight order for us strictly because we prevented the Chaos Hordes from having their 'sacrifice'. We are very sensitive about Genocide, Mister Masaki, and while we do not regret our actions one bit, we are curious as to whether the situation should have been allowed to occur at all."

Skye's smile took on a different edge, then leaned somewhat closer as well in order to prevent being overheard. "It is nice to see that you are already working at covering all the angles. Why, you remind me of me, I think. For the record, the Abh seem like an honorable sort, so I do not think they will stray far now that this alliance has been formalized. The Zetans however... seem more 'flighty', and that could be dangerous."

The Shadow Emperor Alfred Von Antheron and his entourage take there seats. They stay quiet and speak only amongst themselves. The Deatharon tradition of not trusting outsiders still held strong to this day. The Grand Shadow Empire was still wondering if it was still suppose to be part of this alliance anyway. The Inter-Galactic Confederation had collasped and the Church pretty much had power over internal affairs. The Shadow Emperor was here primarly to see if the alliance was still needed for the Imperial agenda or not. The Great houses were deeply divided on this issue. The Arch Duke had mixed feelings about it so, The Shadow Emperor himself would decide weather or not to stay in this alliance.

The Gou'ald of SeaQuest, who rightly warned the Empire about Chronosia. And of course the Abh, the Empire's closest allies in this galaxy.

In addition several other species were present at the table, ones Kunra only knew from second-hand information. With so many different species and interests at one table this meeting would surely be interesting..

It is important to note that this did not entail him daydreaming or the like, he rather literally let his mind wander around the room, mingling with the other delegates and scanning surface static for any signs of deceit or any indicators of what the delegates would desire of this meeting.

It wasn't forceful in any way, a simple passive skim rather than a direct mind probe. If any of the delegates had any psionic powers at all, they would merely have felt a strange breeze. It was really nothing more revealing than a precise examination of their facial features and demeanor.

He typed on his data wrest pad and brought up a holo screen in the middle of the room as well as the ones in front of the others.

Nations that are a threat to Neo Zeta:
Hyperspace Travel:They have expressed hate for us and wouldnt mind attacking Neo Zeta at anytime.

Taledonia: May want to get revenge from the Republic Wars we have engaged in diplomatic talk to ease relations.

Groups: Yevon Faction lead by Maester Seymour: He commands a sizeable number of Crusaders still and still has many followers who could try to overthrow the goverment one day. Also he is allied with a group of mercenarys called the Band of Seven

Dusanyu was the next to stand. He remained by his seat to address the gathering. He strained his tiarra around his head and adjusted his command saber tucked away in his back. The insignia of the Abriel family glowed from his chest as it reflected off the light.

"Esteemed delegates and members of the Galactic Federation. I would like to take this oppurtunity to point out those that pose a threat to our empire.

The Abh Empire and the government of Neo Zeta share similar enemies in Hyperspace Travel and Taladonia. I would go as far as to say that they along with the rest of the Republic hold a resentment against us. HT is a member of the ESUS and his people seem to be holding a grudge.

There is another nation that I would like to bring to your attention though. The Federal Union has decided that they are to be the balancing force of the galaxy. I bring this before several members that are present. Abh Intelligence Agency has discovered that TFU has a budding resentment towards Neo Zeta along with our Empire. I would also like to point out the representative from Coreworlds that they have not been shy to express their willingness to attack you should you interfer with any of their plans."

Dusanyu squared his shoulders as he took in the entire audience. "The Empire stands strong in its resolution to protect ALL of its allies. I ask that we be informed should any hostility towards your nations occur."

Senares Headquarters: Diplomatic chambers...

"My Gods I'm going to be late!"

A young women rushed out of a room inside the Sovereignty's Diplomacy Corps. With long black hair flowing behind her, and dressed in the typical tight "Official" dress, she was actually quite cute as far as a seemingly clueless bookworm type could look. She fixed her glasses and rushed down the hallway, narrowly avoiding collisions with other random Ambassadors and High Ranking Officials.

As she quite nearly flew down the corridor, she passed by one other male official who was about the same age.

"Asuke, slow down! You're gonna kill someone!" He shouted after her.

Asuke merely glanced behind her and coyly replied, "Wha-? Don't worry, Chen! This place has got a huge medical staff!"

"Eh... Right..." Chen replied hopelessly.

A few stories and three collisions later, Asuke ran in huffing and puffing into the Chamber's broadcast room. She frantically hit a few controls and hit a large "GO!" button. "Things better not have gotten too far!" She hoped to herself. A large holo-monitor activated, and she stared into crackling static.

However, I won't stand (Ironic that she's sitting...) to have the respectable races of this universe called "annoyances." It's quite obvious that almost all enemies will soon be friends with enough incentive to do so. The promise of building a better society through the unity of many strengths is usually enough for the possible enemy to see the light. Crushing all who stand before you without first trying to gain from their strengths is likened to incest among my people. I hope you'll respect our views as well."

Now, whether or not they are capable of anything is irrelevant. What is important is that they are watched. The Empire shares Talaax's form of dealing with an enemy. We will be ready at a moments notice to defend this alliance."

Dusanyu looked around at the ambassadors. "As the constitution currently stands. No nation is restricted to how they conduct their nation. You are free to invade, attack, and annhilate anyone you wish as long as it is not another member of this alliance. An argument over how one nation handles 'diplomatic' issues is of no concern to us. The Shadow Emperor did not like the idea of his military leaders being schooled by foriegners in the art of war but King Bradley had a point. The Deatharon military would have to adapt to this new age of warfare. The Arch Duke took note of the Talaax excutioners suggestion and decided to look into it, "What kind of weapons technology do you have available?"

Bridger chose this moment to speak for the first time during this meeting. His voice was low, but it had an unusual quality that allowed it to project through-out the entire room so everyone could hear him without anyone, including himself, having to use any artificial means.

"It seems that some of you are equating fleet and ship size with fire power. Please note, the Holy Empire's research into miniturization has allowed us to equip our ships, the largest of which, the new flagship (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?p=9830584#post9830584), is only ten kilometers in diameter, with starbase grade weapons systems. Then their are the other scientific projects we are working on that will have military applications," Bridger says, "of course, any of the 'advances' developed from projects at a classification level low enough to share with the Alliance will be freely available."

"I think you will find that we have taken the reverse path ourselves. Our skill with robotics has gotten to the point that we are very easily capable of developing exact mechanical copies of organic systems and creatures. So complex are these reproductions that there will be NO difference between the originals and the reproductions, save that the reproductions are far more effective. We pride ourselves on being able to copy any and all technology trees we come into contact with, but Yuuzhan Vong bioengineering has been distressingly infrequent.

"I shall thank you for your generosity, and suspect that if we can make a swarm from them, it will likely be on a destructive scale close to Plaguebringer."

Commissar Bailrygates, who just arrived and finished unpacking her notebook, replied, "You mean start a People's War in Chronosia? I am divided. The Chronosians were responsible for the renovation of much of the People's Navy and Red Army, and they were very generous to us. However, their ideology and goals are corrosive, and threaten to put all under their imperialist yoke. If it is agreed that we should begin a People's War, we can send experienced Party organizers and People's Acolytes to lay the seeds of Revolution and make a Fifth Column. But, I will hold off on that until they pose a genuine threat to the Workers' State."

She then said, "On the subject of biotechnology, we can offer Mindworms. These powerful psychic creatures offer a number of possiblities in the field of biotechnology, and we are exploring those right now."

Then, she said, "Now, as I was getting in here, I had heard about the potential threat of Hyperspatial Travel and TFU. HT is not a threat to us. Same with TFU, we are neutral towards them, though they did loan us technology in the past. However, should events turn hostile, we will not hesitate to marshal the Workers and Peasants behind our allies in mutual defense."

She then said, "However, there is a serious issue in the nation of Huntaer, one that could spread if left unchecked and bring sorrow to all who love liberty and justice. A civil war is breaking out, between two rival factions of Force users. One is the Malkir, a faction that embraces the Light side. The other is the Kirtir regime in power, they are Sith. It is our understanding that this is no mere civil war, but a war of national liberation; the Malkir are fighting for their very lives so as to to bring peace and justice to Huntaer. If we are an alliance truly committed to justice and honor, then we must act to ensure that the Malkir have a chance to fight."

"An ooglith masquer is a creature specially bred to be a living disguise. In it's in active form it resembles a jelly, but when prompted to mate with it's host, it takes on the form of a completely different person or even species. It joins with it's host by inserting many thousands of tiny tentacles into the host's pores - a painful but necessary process - and shapes itself into the desired form. Different masquers are bred for different purposes. Some can make the wearer look like a human or a Duro or just about any species. They can hold up to any visual inspection and most scanners." Kunra explained, considering how much if his own activities he should reveal to those gathered.

"In my experiences wearing a masquer I have been Human, Trandoshan, Chronosian, even Coredian and Abh..." he glanced at the CoreWorlds and Abh delegations briefly, looking for any change in their demeanor. "I was able to infiltrate these societies and gather information about them covertly without their knowledge. In the case of the Abh, I was able to take on the identity of a foot soldier for several months in order to gather information about the military capabilities of said Empire, this of course being before the Alliance. After that I took on the guise of a pirate leader along the Abh-Talaax border in an attempt to sow unrest there and prompt a small-scale invasion. It of course didn't work, as I was recalled when our two peoples became friends."

Kunra glanced up again at the Abh delegation before finishing. "The ooglith masquer is an invaluable tool for espionage. Without it I'm sure I would have been caught and killed countless times. I'm sure you would find it most helpful."

"Well," Bridger said, "perhaps we should find out the exact situation in Huntaer before we make any moves. It would be a disaster if we end up supporting the wrong side (OOC: Though that may make for an interesting RP, I'll have to remember that). Of course," he leans foreward and grins, "there will be several opinions on which is the wrong side."

Baileygates then said, nodding, "Sir, I would agree....after all, only volunteers from the Acolytes in my land have opted to fight, the Politburo and other government bodies are not fully committing forces. If the odds look good, then we can intervene."

She then said to Talaax's Delegate, "As for the WMD issue, our policy is to capture enemy worlds, and requisition any useful resources for the betterment of the Workers and Peasants and our allies. We prefer, in other words, to take worlds intact."

When I say they can leave entire populations paralyzed with apathy, it means they lie like slugs, to the point where they perish from malnourishment or suffocation. I also mean that when they make zombies, they do make real zombies, out of a kiddie's nightmare. Lovely for causing chaos, and in all likelihood, it will render much of the subject planet a mass of walking dead, easily dealt with."

OOC: Executor not Executioner, but meh.

IC: "The tactic is named after the ancient Warmaster Yogand, who first employed it to crush the last opposition to the True Way. It involves the use of a massive dovin basal. In order to better understand the tactic, it would be best to understand what a dovin basal is. Dovin basals are living creatures that manipulate gravity around them. We use them for many purposes, propulsion, shielding, FTL interdiction, moving celestial bodies and the like. They are able to create gravitic singularities or blackholes that we use to shield our vessels. They can also be used to tear the energy shields away from your mechanical vessels. They allow us to move whole planets, if they are large enough, which is exactly how they were employed by Yogand." Kunra paused again, collecting his thoughts.

"The Yogand's Core tactic involves sneaking a massive dovin basal onto the surface of a planet with a moon. The dovin basal then locks the planet's moon in it's grasp and pulls it closer to itself. Slowly but surely, over several days or two weeks or so, the dovin basal pulls the moon down into the planet. It causes both bodies to collide, literally shattering the planet and igniting it's atmosphere. The survival rate of such an attack is virtually zero, only those not on the planet at the moment of impact could possibly survive. It is fairly simple getting the dovin basal onto the surface of a planet unnoticed. It only needs to be ten or twenty meters across and it's pull is unnoticable unless the victim is actively looking for it. It is a highly effective WMD and terror weapon."

Asuke's interest was certainly raised. "Hmmm... Sounds pretty useful. Especially for those species with already incredible long life spans. I've got to say, it would certainly help on the front lines of battle. Our current strategy is to have around three clones of every soldier in suspended transport (In the energy state). Every soldier has a neural uplink to an individual computer databank where everything that the original experiences is recorded and saved. If the soldier is killed, one, and only one clone is brought out of suspended transport, loaded with the memories up till the point of death, and sent on their merry way, without skipping a beat. The clone is materialized with all the gear and equipment they need."

Asuke paused for a breather, but then quickly added, "It's a very wasteful process though, and only a few select Special Ops teams are cleared for it. The whole process happens with a little device about the size of a standard datapadd. With your 'Sarcophagus' however, we could save everyone's life, not just our special elite."

"I'm sorry, but crime has been quite nearly eradicated in my people's culture. (Refer to my history in factbook to explain this.). I have to say though, your attitude is somewhat insulting. Of course there will be exceptions. Who defines what is an exception will be taken on in a case by case manner. My people know full well that there can be no grand unifying 'golden rule' which can be applied to all. What you're saying implies we can't make that distinction...

Moving aside from that matter... Our DNA extrapolation doesn't mean make something from scratch, but rather use an available sample of DNA, and using a logic based program, we can recreate the rest of that creature within a .00001% margin of error. Of course, with Eshirians and other well known races, who's 'blueprints' have long since been worked out, there is no error."

"I'm afraid I am forced to request that you leave this talk of ...immortality... to a more private setting. To my people this is blasphemy of the highest order and is usually punished with a dishonourable death."

He glanced behind him at his highly agitated guards before continuing. "To our people, life is suffering and death is the inevitable and desirable end to suffering. I said before that we do not fear pain or death. This is not entirely a complete statement. We don't fear pain, because it is a part of life and pain brings one closer to Yun-Yuuzhan who suffered to create us. We do not fear death because death is inevitable and brings new life with the Gods. That said we tolerate both, some even enjoy pain and look forward to death. To prolong one's life unnaturally is to defy the will of the Gods and to insult their designs. To defy the Gods is to defy the Yuuzhan Vong (OOC: Talaax's species). Bridger addressed the group as a whole, "The hard part of regrowing limbs was to discover how to also regrow the part of the nervous structure associated with said limb. Once we figured that out, the mechanic of it were all worked out and all that is needed is a simple injection to simulate the proper gland to regrow all missing parts of the body. This regrowth process takes several days, at least to occur and the patient will have to relearn how to use the new parts if they have been without for a long time.

"As for my tone earlier, I apologize. I did not mean to be insulting to anyone. It would seem to a simple case of ethnocentrism. You will all find the correct uses in for the Sarcophagi in your own nations, I should not have attempted to impose the views of my own nation on their use upon you like that."

He turns to the Executor and says, bluntly, "Ah, but, if I understand you correctly, wouldn't a longer life-span give you more time to perform devotions to your gods? What determines one's place with the Gods is one's character and honour. One could die a crecheling without having made any sacrifices to the Gods, without a scar or tattoo and still go on to live with the Gods. The Gods determine when we die and to say, think or act otherwise is blasphemy."

Kunra paused for a few moments, conscious that he was again making a scene, but continued. "We do not pretend to understand your obsession with lengthening your lives, but we still find it offensive to have it discussed infront of us. Shielding, darkspace(hyperspace) interdiction, tractor beams, sublight propulsion, darkspace propulsion, sensors (not like traditional sensors, they sense only the unique gravitic signature of vessels and planets etc), they are able to remove shields from your vessels and can also be used to move whole planets if we so desire and have enough of them. They are incredibly versatile and serve us well. So long as they are well-fed and well-rested they can function for hundreds of years, as they did when my people crossed the intergalactic void. Without need for seperate systems for each of these functions our ships are able to fit more weapons onto them. There really is nothing else like them."

Dusanyu had received a secure message about an important matter need attending. Spoor leaned over to Dusanyu for a private conversation. "Admiral Spoor, you are needed back in Abh Space. It appears that the battle is already underway."

Spoor nodded her head. "Rules of engagment?"

"Execute with extreme prejudous."

An evil grin spread on her face. "Understood your highness. All ships will be destroyed. I shall take the ship immediatly and have one come back for you."

Dusanyu nodded his head. "Better yet, leave a fighter in orbit. If this goes poorly, the royal fleet will be needed as well."

Spoor looked puzzled. "Who should I send back to take your place."

Fire burned behind his eyes. "Lamia."

"Lamia?! He can't be trusted to act diplomatically. If he is angered or feels that the Empire is threatened, he'll kill the entire conference."

Dusanyu's expression didn't change. "Send him."

Spoor merely nodded her head. She wrote down on a pad of paper a message to the Executor: Pardon my sudden departure Executor. It was an honor to see you again. Perhaps I can be invited to another Embrace of Pain ritual at another time. Farewell.

Spoor stood up and left the room without word to any other representative. The ship in orbit launched a single fighter that we remotly piloted to land at the landing pad to replace the shuttle. A message was also sent for Lamia to heed the call of the Emperor. He was needed at a conference.

Dusanyu turned his attention back to the meeting. "Might I remind everyone that we all come from different cultures and shook respect them as such. If the people of Talaax are offended by technology then I suggest everyone honors that. There are other ways to defend those that do not want a super defense weapon in their system."

Above the planet Bevelle, a heavy distrubance in space formed. A circular motion, looking like a black hole until a blue light consumed it. It grew, bolts of particles shooting forth from its sides and center harmlessly into space. Slowly, the disturbance took the form of a ship, and with a bright flash of light lasting only a few seconds, a Magnificent-class Star Frigate sat where the distrubance had taken shape.

The Magnificent Alpha was the first of the Magnificent Class that had been hurridly produced, no time for naming. However, it was a new design purchased from a foreign power, and perhaps the main reason why it was named such.

Nevertheless, the Commander in charge of the ship waved his hand to an Officer. A scout ship was launched from the hanger bay of the Star Frigate, and it slowly went into an entry pattern to the planet, heading for the meeting place on planet.

A few minutes later, it landed, and out came Bill O'Connar, represenitive for the Motherland and the Old Galactic Republic. He was escorted by one person, and slowly walked into the building and into a certian room, sitting beside the Abh Emperor and nodding to all present.

Kunra nodded his farewell to Spoor then spoke in response to Dusanyu. "Thank you. As I said before coming here, I personally am used to being around technology and am not discomforted by it, but my people as a whole are. We have experienced firsthand the evils of technology and only survived it because of the gift the Gods bestowed upon us - our servants."

Kunra took a breath, preparing to give a bit of a history lesson. "You see, millenia ago my people were attacked by a race of beings who used technology. We were enslaved and slaughtered. After many decades of this oppression at the hands of technology and those who wield it, the Gods granted us the knowledge of how to create our servants. Create them we did and we cast off the chains of technology and at the insistance of the Gods destroyed those who had wronged the Yuuzhan Vong. The Gods taught us, through the use of this race and it's oppression and many prophets, to revere life and avoid the imitations of life that you see on a daily basis. The Gods did not create technology, because it corrupts, and do not approve of technology. We can only be pure without technology."

He then glanced around at the others. "It was after this freedom that my people set about ridding our galaxy of technology. We conquered thousands of worlds and destroyed countless civilizations. But this is not what the Gods intended of us and so they stripped us of our essense of holiness (OOC: The Force) and exiled us to the intergalactic void. This is how we arrived here, humbled and more respectful of technology wielders, but not tolerant of technology. The Gods still despise technology and we will not anger them further by using it. We ask that you respect our non-usage of technology and we will respect your usage of it."

A ship of unknown origins caused a disturbance in space over the planet of Bevelle. A sudden discharge of energy and a golden jump point opened up and the oddest ship (http://www.b5tech.com/vorlon/vorlonships/vtransport.jpg) glided out of the jump gate. Without asking for permission, it entered the atmosphere and took a largely cleared area for its landing pad.

The tall man left the ship and made his way to the meeting. He ignored every guard in the area and made his way to the chamber that Admiral Spoor had appointed to him.

Lamia (http://skpeco.hp.infoseek.co.jp/betterman.jpg) spotted the Emperor and an open seat next to him. He slowly made his way over and sat down next to him. Using the lipid channel, he informed the Empeor of his pressence.

I have arrived as you have requested Dusanyu.

The Emperor turned around surprised to see how quickly he had arrived and entered without noticing. He hated how Lamia always did that and talked to him through his mind. "Good. I want you to learn while you are here. You may have to take my place if I am needed at the battle that is starting."

I will not be needed?

"It is my hope that you never have to fight because that would mean that we are in dire straights."

The Emperor returned his focus to the conference while Lamia took in the entire room getting a sense of all in attendance.

Bill turned around to get a good view of one whom had just entered, and was quite suprised with what stood.

A mixture of blue, red, and black hair mixed with a highly mysertious impression exposed only part of what this person showed. His black outfit mixed with a white undergarment showed a commoner spirit, but the strange jewel that seemed to be in his chest could make anyone wonder. He felt something more beyond this, but being a mere human he didn't have the skills to understand it.

Someone else could, but that was a different matter.

With a slow sigh he looked back to the conference table. This was going to get interesting, he felt.

Asuke was surprised at the large turnout for the meeting. {So many different races!} she thought to herself, {I had no idea...}

Eshirians had been around for millions of years. But throughout the ages, records of what much of what the race had collectively experienced were lost in time. The newer generations seemed to have lost much of the wisdom gained of the eons, and they seemed even more out of touch with the realities of the modern universe. Naive, and semi-ignorant, not exactly the best combination for the future...

Asuke turned her head to the new arrival. "Hi." she said simply with a smile.

On his forehead was the tiniest of what appeared to be a jewel set right on the lower part in the middle of his forehead. It was hidden by his bangs and the only indication of something being there came in the series of short small flashes of light that flickered in sync with his voice. A slight impulse came into her mind. It was nothing overpowering, merely a greeting.

Greetings . . . ambassador.

Asuke was quite taken back by the sheer weirdness of the being. She quietly studied his features and took note of the small light. {Wow...} she thought to herself, but then quickly became disoriented by the sudden greeting in her mind. Eshirians were naturally psionically inclined, but direct mind to mind communication was something of a taboo in their culture. Diplomats are trained to accept it since it was understood that other being might communicate this way. But Asuke was still a "Junior" diplomat, and she wasn't used to it at all. She would try her best however... She then replied in the same manner as the being. <{Greetings...}> she thought.

Bill O'Connar sighed as he sat back in his chair, nothing so far concerned him. He rached in his pocket and retrieved his pad. Slowly, he touched its screen. The Symbol of the Old Galactic Republic came up, followed by the Emblem of the Motherland. With another press he looked into his mail, and was suprised to find a few actually in there from Command. Most were reports, and he pressed a button to file them and sort them into a paragraph explaining them.

To his suprise, all of them filed under Combat Reports, and all from Battleships of the Old Republic Fleet. He looked at the paragraph, and started to read.

Reports combine both suprise and anger towards an appearence of a common subjective enemy that has appeared many times before in Old Galactic Republic space. The Four Battleship Commanders all filed different log reports concerning the situation, the most amusing being that of the Excalibur and most of her command crew. It is highly suggested to view these when time is appropriate.

Bill exited his mail log, and looked into other things. He decided to looked into the Novarian Jedi Council, gazing at the member locations, and almost chuckled out loud at what he found. Highly amusing was this. Greg Paladin was on the same Diplomatic Meeting that was near the fire fight. Oh the old glory days.

He slowly remembered how promising he was, and very well centered. Though he had a lot more to him that Bill didn't understand currently, but either way keeping tabs on Apprentices was key.

With an amusing grin he pressed on the screen, and went into a game on pong with the pad AI.

We also use anti-matter, and materials known to us as Leninite, Trotskyite, Maoite, Stalinite, all vital when refined or handled correctly. We also use gases of numerous kinds. Any sources of these materials would be appreciated, along with medical or other technology, chemicals, knowledge, foods, media, energy producing materials, etc.-we too, are a fast developing state. We are also not unkind to foreign investment, so those corporations who wish to do so may invest in the Workers State."

The Alteran Ascension
30-10-2005, 03:46
With a bright flash of light, a deleation of 4 Alterans, all former ascendants, appeared in the room, transported by long-range teleport.

The lead Alteran noted the delegate from SeaQuest with some disgust.

"I didn't know that any... Non-ascendants still lived... Fascinating creatures. My name is of no importance to you for now. I am the head of the delegation sent by the council of Atlantis. Our city-ship may arrive at some point during these talks."

Seats appeared in a flash of blue, and the Alterans sat down.

{Huh, arrogant...} Asuke thought to herself.

"Oh? Atlantis? You must be Alterans then? My people have been around long enough to have been in contact with your 'Non-Ascended' civilization before some of you 'moved on'. I thought you didn't meddle in the affairs of us 'lower beings'."

<<<(OOC: Refer to fact book. Basically, my race isn't directly based off of the Ancients in SG, but I use the "Ascended" bit, plus it's also stated in the fact book that my race has been around for long time as well, which is why I say we've seen you before. If you don't like any of this, I'll simply edit this post.)>>>

"Interesting. We too have a city named Atlantis on one of our planets..." Alex mused.

The delegate turned to Asuke.

"We are no longer ascended. We saw the mess that lower beings were making, and we returned."

The Alteran turned to the CoreWorlds representative, with a slight smile on her face.

"Our race has left many marks on this galaxy. Perhaps we have left an outpost there at some point, or a race we have contacted long ago built it? Then again, it could be a coincedence. My people are interested in knowledge, and perhaps at some point you coul tell us more."

"Perhaps." A small smile played on the Coredian Patriarch.

"Hmmm, now this is interesting. I always thought that if you chose to go back, you'd lose conscious memory of ever being ascended. You'd remember everything subconsiously only. I know a few people who'd love to remember their 'Ascended' lives..." Asuke sighed, turned around and looked away. Her gaze drifted off while she waited for a response on her previously mentioned food concerns.

"The Godulans pride themselves on being capable of duplicating any technology tree we come across," Skye said as the talking seemed to drift towards trade, he turned an indicative eye towards the Talaaxian delegation for a mere fraction of a second, then continued: "ANY technology tree. We can sell guns of any type, bombs, shielding, multiple metallurgical schemes, and the like. Though at the moment, our primary market rests in our unbeatable robotics. I suppose I should stress that at the moment, as this is a 'formal alliance' that every nation present here today, and even those who could not attend, receive the full ally discount on top of the other discounts we offer.

"Further, if it is wished, we are willing to provide our Heighliners for mass conveyance of cargo throughout the various systems of this Alliance. If we can get a Probability Nexus Web up, travel between any system within the web will not even take half a day to complete. This can be done for a modest fee, nothing extortionate, mind you, just a form of shipping and handling charge.

"Of course, there is the Balroggan Wormhole Network, but you have to get in line for THAT."

Asuke snapped back to attention, and took note of the quick glance... "Any? Very impressive. I'm positive my government would be glad to help in the creation of your 'Probability Nexus Web'. Hah, where do we sign?"

Dusanyu focused his attention on Auske. "Our Empire has plenty of food supplies and can readily send you food stuffs. We also manufacture our own raw materials. We have ready supplies of natural gases and manufacture enormous quantities of anti-matter. If there is anything else you may need then please let us know."

"It is actually quite simple, really, and requires no construction save a small number of beacons to designate the 'In' and 'Out' Nexi. The main thing we would need from you is preferred entry and exit coordinates.

"With further reference to offered commodities, the Godulans have exceptionally healthy production capacities in any and all potential markets, and can provide foodstuffs and raw materials of any kind for a premium price."

OOC: NS stats backs up this one. For some reason, I'm within the top 700 in all of NS with respect to ANYTHING regarding economic power. Its actually rather disconcerting.

"And should anybody need somewhat more 'complex' materiel, chances are very good that we can have such things ready within a very reasonable timeframe."

The Emperor nodded his head. "We have grains in abundance since they can produce large quantities of food. We have many planets with different climates and atmospheres. Some grow rice exceptionally well while other grow wheat even better. We also grow other fruits vegetables as well."

Huh. I sound like a holocommercial...
