Hussarin sighed and layed his axe against the debris he was sitting on.But before he could speak, the female arkanin did.
"Have you seen anything stirring in the forests to the south that we could not?"
Hussarin glanced to the Arkanin, and nodded in agreement.
"Any information on enemy reinforcements or strange happenings could be useful."

Kimura walked toward a less crowded area. The twenty anbu captains gathered around him. "So what are your assessments captains," inquired Kimura. "Well," replied one, "Even with our traps set, it would be unwise to remain here." The others nodded in agreement. "One of our squads are however still searching for suitable areas." They continued discussing their observations.

Mavis saids in a more secure way, "According to our Vampire General Sarin Mizar(He does the whole Noblemen's fascade during this) We Are here under orders from the Lich Emperor Alfred Von Antheron to expand our Imperial borders and beat the barbarians out." Mavis then adds, "That City happens to be the Capital of the Grand Shadow Empire of Deatharon and I am quite proud to live there. Most humans live in villages or in farms out in the country side."

The advanced forces were slowly making their way, carefully keeping an eye open for any possible enemy forces. The mages had cast a silencing spell on their armor and equipment in order to prevent them from making a sound. And so, they traveled as fast as they could while making no sound.
----Soragakure--------
The council members at in conference. "What has Lord Kimura reported so far?" inquired one. "So far, he says that the additional forces deployed should help greatly, but he advises that we send the main portion of the first army as soon as possible." replied another. "How about his lancers?" asked another. "Nothing yet. All we can do is wait," answered one.
Upon reaching the edge of the encampment, the two dragons and their riders came to a halt. Mynocinth, being about six feet tall when on all fours, could just barely peek over the barricades, while Ariadell, easily fifteen feet high in the same position, simply peered down into the camp.
Gaervin looked around for Hussarin, the leader with whom he spoke to earlier. Spotting the white pelt was not too difficult, but seeing that the man was busy, the dragonknight took in the details of the encampment, frowning at what he saw.
Hussarin stood before any answers could be given, walking off outside the breach and into the battlefield. The Arkanin was suprised at this, but stayed and waited for the gargoyle's report.
Hussarin had left for one reason only, he needed to see how much longer his army could last against this foe. As he stepped through the bodies, he looked across the field, noticing more deaths on his side than he previously though. And not only that, but there were mass numbers of undead as well, it seemed that the undead were winning through numbers.
He quickly turned around and surveyed the barricade, it was frail after the attack. And the enemy's Necromancers had made sure he knew it was weak. He began to think out loud, "We'll have to do something to make these walls tough enough to attempt to deal with those damned undead's spells."

Aniel interrupted Hussarin, "If you'd like, my bretheren and I can try and infuse the wall with holy energy. It should at least help keep it from crumbling from the intial assault."
Two black cloaked anbu appeared in front of the captains. "Sir," said one, "We have found an area that could be suitable for defense with some preparations of course." Kimura nodded and replied, "Good squad 5 through 10 will go and prepare it. Will fall back to it if needed." Nodding, five captains left to alert their squad.
Gaervin watched as the camp's leader walked outside. He could tell what the man was thinking - what anyone would be thinking, given the sight before their eyes. The dragonknight dismounted and walked over to Hussarin.
"What you need to do is get your people out of there before the undead return," Gaervin answered the tribal leader, even though the other man was not really asking a question. "I saw women and children in there. If they stay here, then here is where they die."
OOC: For basic knowledge of Amerath, 75% of it is plains or rolling hills, the northern most areas and southern most make up forests, and there's an ocean on the eastern side.

Hussarin nodded to the priest. "Might work, try it and we'll see."
Hussarin looked to Gaervin. "If you didn't notice." He pointed to a group of warriors, three of the warriors were women. Another was a teenager. "The women were fighting too. This is the whole tribe of Athon, the other tribes still hold their women, children, and eldarly incase they are needed."
The great lord was tired of getting beat back, he was going to make sure that his people would survive for the next generation.

OOC: Last Post for tonight......
IC: The Undead Legion finally made it to the Shadow Forest. They set up and build camps in the Forest. The Kallath and his undead dragon were being tended to by a Necromancer who healed the burnt bones with Unholy negative energy. Kallath was feed blood rations from the wounded human soldiers that wished for death. There bodies were raised shortly after by the Necromancers. The Legion was trying to keep itself together long enough for the Next Legion to take there place.
For those paying attention, five winged figures could be seen silhouetted against the night sky, high above. Two of them were significantly larger than the other three.

Damaged Camp
"Not having been to the forest since I flew up to join the Dragon Wings," Grim answered, "any information I have would be out of date. Of course, I was focusing more on following my original orders of finding any survivors from the destroyed Wood Elf community than anything else. Of course, I did notice some Shades following me. What they wanted, I haven't a clue, of course, they may have just been keeping track of me. We will have a more detailed report of what's going on when Nuju and the others finish questioning that archer."
Dragon Gathering
Vakama inquired, "I take it that you are not free to live in a place of your own choosing, correct?"
Nuju said, "I don't think that is the type of questions we need to be asking. We should be asking about their current military strength in the area. When, and if, they expect to recieve reinforcements. Stuff like that."
Nokama glared at Nuju, "We will get to that stuff when the time is right, Nuju. You need to learn that not everyone is as coldly logical as you are. Thus, you should realize that easing into this kind of thing is more effective than brute force."
"Then your tribe will be wiped out while the other tribes survive," said Gaervin. "Until the undead attack them next, in which case there will be no more tribes left. I understand your situation is dire, and that you need as many warriors as you can get. But are you willing to sacrifice the entire tribe when you can save at least some of them? A Remtkaran army is coming this way to fight the monsters, and shall arrive shortly. A part of your tribe can go eastward, where they are, and find shelter there. There is no shame in retreating in order to preserve your tribe."
OOC: hehe, posted before I saw the post befor ethis one.

Gargoyle's Report
The Arkanin bowed to the gargoyle, "Thank you for the information." then quickly moved towards Hussarin.
The Great Lord's Thoughts
Hussarin stared at Gaervin. Glaring at him. "East is nothing but ocean, there is no way out of there." He looked around the field. "To the north is a dense forest we can't build in, mostly swamps to be truthful. And to the West are the mountains, we are kind of stuck here, either way out is a slow and dangerous passage. All accept the South, the only place where you can move swiftly."
He sighed. "There's no way to get out of Amerath."
All around the battlefield, warriors were looking their way, awaiting the great lords decision..
The Lesser Lord of Lizards
The 6th and last lesser lord stared down from the barricade, looking at the Great Lord and his worthless talk with the new comers. This lesser was named Ozin, and he believed he should be leading the tribes under his banner, not that half-crazed man.
He turned back towards his motley crew of warriors, who were staring at him. He nodded and they set off , there were things afoot. Things that could affect Amerath.
"Have you explored the east sufficiently? It is a vast land," said Gaervin, himself getting just a little agitated. "Go due east until you hit the sea, then follow the coast southeast, and you will come upon what my people call the Ranjol Mountains. I came from just beyond those mountains. We call these lands the Western Wilds. If you doubt my existence, then I suppose you doubt hers as well." The dragonknight pointed back toward the large form of Ariadell without taking his face off of Hussarin.
Just then, Ariadell lifted her head up toward the sky and let loose a roar.

Grim, glad that he was able to at least provide the promise of future information to come, began to wonder through the camps. To the untrained eye, his meanderings were random, but, in truth, he did have an ultimate goal he was heading for. He wanted to investigate the Dragons of the Dragon Knights and see how different they were from the ones back on the island.
Hussarin shook his head, "We've only explored so far, we're only 7 tribes, not enough to begin looking for new places to settle." (It wouldn't be till they became introduced to gunpowder that they would seek new lands) Hussarin looked towards the southeast, "If you say it's there, I'll believe you. You may ask who'm you want to take, but my oath binds me here."
The lizard-man
Ozin listened in disgust. How dare this so called "great lord" abandon a fight? He truly was a coward, he'd probably sneak away after everyone left... the lesser-lord turned and walked back towards the breach.
Gaervin looked up when his dragon roared. With a smile, he said, "There, two more of my countrymen are arriving as we speak. And it looks as if they have with them three dwarven gryphon riders of the Ranjols." Looking back to Hussarin, he said, "As the leader of your tribe, who goes is up to you. I would suggest those too young or too old to defend themselves, let alone the encampment, and whomever else who wish to depart. Those of able body with the desire to fight can then stay without having to worry about the defenseless ones. I give you my word that I, and the rest of these dragonknights and gryphon riders, will do all we can to ensure their safety until their return to you, after we have defeated the undead."

Several anbu were watching Ozin carefully. Noting his actions, they would report his actions to their captain if the saw anything....unusual.
Hussarin looked at Gaervin. He lifted his fist to his chest in salute. "Aye." He turned to the arkanin and began dispatching orders to move the children, disabled, those wishing to go, and eldarly or infirmed out along the eastern border. "Go with them, Arkanin, I'd feel safer if they were with you."
Hussarin watched his orders being spread around camp, he saw warriors left and ride take off their pelts, salute their leader, and begin collecting their belongings. Only time would tell how many warriors would stay to protect their homelands.
Hussarin then looked at the area where the gryphon riders and dragonknights were coming from, "This day just keeps getting more interesting, doesn't it?"

Grim sat down a meter from the Rhinara Dragons. He began to study them. He noted the saddles and compared that to the fact that the Dragons back on the island would never consent to wear such an apparatus except in dire emergencies. As he continued to study the Rhinara Dragons, he listened. As the conversation did not involve him, he didn't make a sound.
OOC: Last post for the night. TTFN.
Hussarin turned and began to make for the breach, what warrior's were left, he had to make sure they would be ready. Behind him, 200 warriors out of the 400 warriors had decided to stay, and they followed him inwards towards the breach.
Other than that, 600 citizens were marching away from the tribe, it was amazing that such a land like this could support that many citizens in one tribe, but that's how the Amerathians did it. The 600 began to disappear one by one, led by the female Arkanin, who still hoped the eldar Arkanin was still breathing.
Hussarin disappeared inside, of the 200 warriors left, all 6 lesser lords were present. Hussarin knew this next fight may be the last for Tribe Athon.
OOC: My last for the night too.
Ariadell looked down at the gargoyle sitting at her feet and cocked her head in curiosity.
As Hussarin spoke to the arkanin, Gaervin turned to the five arriving riders. With a multitude of whooshing sounds, the flapping of dragon and gryphon wings slowed the descent of the creatures for a soft landing in front of Gaervin. "Greetings, Sir Hassion," Gaervin called out.
"Greetings, Sir Gaervin," the other dragonknight returned, getting off of his dragon and moving towards Gaervin. "We were distressed from your delayed return, though I see there were good reasons for it," he looked around at the surroundings, riddled with the bodies of undead.
"I shall satisfy all your inquiries to the subject," Gaervin promised. "First, however, I have given this man," he gestured to Hussarin, "my word that I will lead his young and elderly, along with all others who choose to go, to safety. I am certain that King Thorin would allow them stay at Underkingdom, or at the least passage through to Remtkara. There are undead hordes here seeking their destruction, you see, and it is our desire to preserve what we can of this tribe from annihilation from a far superior force. I will require your aid along with the other four to insure that these tribes people will indeed reach our lands in safety. Once the undead have been beaten back and we can assure their safe return home, then shall they come back."
Hassion nodded, "I understand."
OOC: Bed for me too. Good night, all.

Hussarin Reflects
Hussarin was standing ontop the barricades next to the breach, looking over the field and watching the Arkanin lead his tribes to the coast. He then looked to his last 200 warriors continuing the gathering of the tribe's dead from the battlefield. He shook his head in disbelief at the events thus far...
They had managed to push the undead back to the forest. And along with that came an army of Elves, an army of priests, crusaders, and ninjas, two different armies of dragons, one of which had dwarves coming already. Some men in grey robes. Things were getting strange in these lands...
Ozin watches
Ozin was still watching Hussarin in disgust, but now things were getting stranger, he had called down several of his warriors from his tribe and had them mingle into the other 200 warriors. He would wait for his perfect chance to strike.

The anbu were watching Ozin carefully. With gesture, the two black cloaked ones vanished. The captain remained to continue is constant vigil.
One of the anbu reappeared near Kimura delivered his report. Kimura raised an eyebrow. This was something not necessarily unexpected but still....this would require delicate handling.
The other made his way to Hussarin. Tapping him on the shoulder, the anbu said, "Sir, may I please speak with you alone? This is something that you must know."
Hussarin raised an eyebrow at the ANBU tapping him on the shoulder. "I think we're as alone as it's going to get."
Hussarin returned his gaze to watching the field from the barricade. He was already digging pit trenches right outside the barricade, hoping to deter any more attacks. However much he tried, he could only get a fraction of his warriors to do this task while the others gave final rights to friends from the tribe.
These pit trenches would contain spiked poles to wait for anything that fell into them. Kind of like a punji trap.

Damaged Camp and Dragon Gathering
After gazing at the Rhinara Dragons for a half-hour, Grim realized that the true-Dragons would be better judges of them. He smiled as he realized this. But, as he smiled, a small crack formed in his left cheek.
"Its a good thing," he thought to himself, "that I'm retiring after this."
He leaped into the air and flew to the true-Dragons. Not wanting to interrupt the questioning, he talked to a young yellow electricity Dragon for a few minutes before returning to the damaged camp. Meanwhile, the true-Dragon he had spoken to gathered up all his strength and sent a mindspeak message to Eragon back at Dragonskeep.
Dragonskeep - Eragon's Office
Eragon was staring at a metal sphere a representative from the Holy Empire of SeaQuest had left with him when the mindspeak message reached him. It was weak because of the distance involved, but is was understandable. He smiled, it was time to test the Visorak Horde (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?p=9844955&posted=1#post9844955) in combat. He made arrangements for a full Legion to be sent to provide aide against the Undead army.
OOC: Metranui 3: The undead wars?
As the sun dawned the following morning, there was already a long trail of people from Tribe Athon snaking its way eastward. Every once in a while, one of the dragonknights or gryphon riders would take off into the air to make sure the surrounding area was free of enemies, or Tarnon and Mynocinth would go scouting by land to do likewise. They could never be too safe right now, for there were 600 civilians to protect. Even with the seven riders, the Arkanin, and the 200 or so tribal warriors, the undead could very well send a vastly larger force to overtake them should they discover this migration of people.
Meanwhile, on the western edge of the Ranjol Mountains, massive stone doors parted open and 25 horsemen, each carrying a longsword and a spear, rode out from the gateway leading to Underkingdom. They were to prepare the way for the Remtkaran and dwarven armies that would soon be coming to do battle with the undead.
OOC: Amerath, you wanted an Arkanin to meet the first people to come up from Underkingdom, right?
OOC: There's 2 Arkanin, the female one who's leading the migration, and the eldar Arkanin, who's looking for the army, ya, he'll appear.
Upperworld meets underworld
There, infront of the 25 horsemen, a lone figure stood. He was glad in a cloak similar to the female Arkanin, with tribal lore written all about him in pictures or symbols. All of his arms were hidden under this cloak, and his face hidden by the shadows of his hood. All that seemed to show was the white beard that grew from the hood, connected to the face of the man.
He was the Arkanin that was searching for allies, but it seemed that probley already knew what he had to say.
The Migration
The female Arkanin kept a wary eye on the paths as they moved, without the 200 warriors that stayed behind at the barricade, she was one of the few protectors of the long 600-person march. Here and there, she would jump at a squirrel in the shadows, or a deer grazing on grasses. She was on edge after the last few nights of fighting.
24 of the horsemen wore leather armor, some of whom had light helmets on. The leader wore a combination of leather armor overlaid with a metal cuirass protecting his vital body parts, and a helmet that protected more of his face than did the others.
Upon seeing what appeared to be a lone, elderly man in their way, the leader held his spear up vertically to signal to his men to come to a halt, which they did briskly. "I am Sir Lothan of Remtkara," the leader introduced himself to the stranger. "Are you in need of assistance?"
The old man looked up at the rider. The shadows retreated from his face, showing his features and the 3rd eye on his head.
"Not me, but people I know, yes."
The eldar stared at the riders, his face showing that he had been traveling far and long to find people like these.
The horsemen near the front of the group, who were able to see the third eye under the hood, were startled and seemed a little tense. "And who, may I ask, are you," said Lothan, "and the people whom you seek assistance for?"

"Sir," began the anbu, "I hope you do not take offense, but several of us have been making observations of your warriors. There is definitely something amiss here, but we have yet to come to a conclusion. We do suspect some sort of mutiny, but have no solid evidence to back this up. But to be on the safe side, commander Kimura requests permission for two of our captains to accompany you at all times. If that is alright with you of course."
The old man
The eldar Arkanin pointed towards the lands of Amerath, "People who are fighting things that should belong in graves."
Hussarin's choice
"A mutiny? None would dare such in these times. Even if they were, it's probably just malcontent with our losses so far, so I must decline your body guards." Hussarin was resolute, and began watching over the digging of the pits.
"Then those people we shall call allies, for we too seek the destruction of the loathsome creatures of the dead," said Lothan. "Will you guide us to those in need of our help?"
The old man looked up at the lead rider, "If you can manage to follow me." With that, the man turned, and with suprising speed, began to speed off at almost adnormal speeds, racing towards the last direction he knew the barricade was, which was the first one next to the forest.
Lothan furrowed his brows, looking to his left and his right at his fellow riders. That old man was most unusual, but with a flick of the reins, he set his horse into motion, chasing after the Arkanin, with the rest of his men following suit. After an extended period, however, the horses began losing speed and the group started falling farther and farther behind the old man.
It was then that they noticed that there was something else nearby. A short distance to the south, where a line of trees began that signified the edge of a forest, yet untouched by the growing death and decay of the undead army, was a somewhat large figure, obscured by the shadows. It had been watching them, and started to move closer to the plains. The horsemen quickly raised their spears, expecting trouble.
Then out popped a boy seated upon a young dragon. "Hello!" Tarnon said as Mynocinth trotted over to the 25 horsemen. Being accustomed to Remtkaran dragons, the horses were unbothered by Mynocinth's close proximity.
"Hello," Lothan returned. "You are Gaervin's boy, are you not?"
"I am," said Tarnon. "I'm glad you guys are here. We need your help."
Lothan looked westward, to the disappearing Arkanin, which they had little hope of catching up to now, and noticing Mynocinth's injured wing, there was little hope from there as well.
The Arkanin had actually stopped and turned around, moving back to where the 2 were talking. His face once again hidden under the shadows of his hood. It was strange how when Arkanins hid their faces, they all looked alike with their cloaks.
"Someone you know?"

The priests who weren't healing, were busy channeling their energy into the wall. The wall seemed to gain a silver sheen as time passed.
Despite Hassarin's words, Kimura was stilled uneasy. At all times, there was to be a squad watching Ozin covertly of course.
----fortified area-----
The 15 anbu sat down for a well deserved rest. This place should manage to hold for a while if it were under attack. Not mentioning its.....welcoming basket to enemies. The fort itself was sight to behold. The walls rose about one and a half times the height of the trees in the area. The walls seemed to have been shaped from the earth itself. It had no blocks or anything of the sort. The walls were smooth and hard. They even formed a small tower in the center to allow archers a higher vantage point. Before the wall, there were three rows of trenches fill with a strange clear substance and right before the walls, the small trench was filled with water. It wasn't enough to impede the enemy but it would allow a source of water for some of their techniques. They were exhausted after this massive effort, but it was well worth it. As they exited the fort, the earthen/stone gates closed of their own accord. One anbu took out a small strip of paper and placed it on the door. As they made their way back to the camp, the fort faded out of sight.
Hussarin was watching the trench work when he noticed that a group of warriors there, then another over there, were looking at him strangely before returning to work, but it seemed the majority were actually working. He then looked along the outter wall of the barricade, warriors were gathering the tall grass from behind the barricade and turning them into giant balls, ready to be set alight to fight off the enemy. Hussarin smiled to himself, this would be a more even battle.

"Yes," Lothan answered the Arkanin. To Tarnon, he asked, "What do you need my help for?"
"Sir Gaervin is leading most of Tribe Athon to the Ranjols," said the boy. "The undead attacked their homes and they had nowhere else to go, especially the defenseless ones. We've two other dragonknights and three dwarven gryphon riders with the caravan, but if the undead decide to attack with large numbers, then we won't be able to hold them back and protect the weak and old." He turned to the Arkanin, "There's also someone there dressed just like you. The man with the white wolf pelt put them in charge of the civilians, I think."
Lothan looked to the Arkanin. "It appears our aid is needed to protect the caravan. Rest assured, however, that more people will soon be coming to aid in the struggle against the creatures of the dead." To Tarnon, "Take us to the caravan."
"Yes, sir," Tarnon replied.
The arkanin gasped, he hadn't expected the undead to get as far as Tribe Athon. But then he remember, the people of the plains didn't know how to fight undead. He quickly took off in the direction of Athon, leaving no explanation, he knew that if the other Arkanin was in charge of the movement of people, then the caravan would be fine.
His task was to aide Hussarin.
The horsemen and Tarnon watched the Arkanin run off again.
"Can he be trusted?" Lothan asked of Tarnon.
"If he's like the other one that's dressed like him," Tarnon said. "I've never seen him before, so I can't say for sure."
"Then let us join the caravan," said Lothan. "And ask the one that is there if he knows of this one, and see if any treachery is afoot. Guide us on."
Tarnon took off with Mynocinth racing across the fields, the 25 horsemen right behind.

"Arkanin!"
The eldar raised one of his hands in salute. "My lord, I have returned, and met allies, but it seems you have already met them as well." He waved the hand at the many forces around the barricade. "I apologize for not aiding you at the first barricade, I only now learned you were pushed back here and moving the tribe."

Looking over to Lireth, he saw her speaking with Mathlen. If they made it out alive, he was going to take nice long break with his two childhood friends. The grass swayed silently as the advanced forces made their way ever closer to the camp.

It can in its most powerful cases bring a loved one back to the realm of the living."

It is easier, and safer, to give life to inanimate objects like the statues we make the Gargoyles from, but even they are allowed a true-death when their bodies have reached their natural limits."
Nuju says, "You have to understand, little one, that everything has its place in the Cycle. If bodies were not allowed to decompose, the soil wouldn't have the nutrients in the body returned to it, and without nutrients, we wouldn't be able to grow food for the children."

----several minutes later------
Mathlen sighed as he searched for Isiel and Lireth. He found them, but they were er....preoccupied. Clearing his throat loudly, he watched in amusement as both turned around and scrambled to smooth out their armor and clothing. "Have fun?" asked Mathlen. Before either could protest, he said, "Hurry now, my mages are waiting for you." "So that means..." began Lireth. "Yes, yes," Mathlen replied dismissively, "Gather your soldiers and meet me in the clearing."
Several minutes later, the forces stood assembled. In front of them stood the mages. Chanting softly, arcane energy surged around them. The priest then began chanting as well. Divine energy soon ws interweaved with the arcane energy. The combination of the two would bolster the range of their spell as well. The breach that had once existed was now filled with a giant nest, so the only way over was to go up the top. The ramp-way was designed by the Dragon so as to bottle-neck any enemy forces that try to enter through that way. They watched as the priests and mages of the cities garrison began to chant. Whisps of whitish-blue energy began to swirl around them and was soon joined by tendrils of crimson red, cobalt blue, emerald green, and cerulean blue. As their voices rose, the air began to feel heavier and thicker. After a few seconds, their voices soon merged into one and there was a blinding flash. Once the flash faded, there was no trace of the army that was just there. The army would them about one and a one and half to two and a half weeks away from the camp if they traveled at full speed with minimal stops and the weather wasn't too bad. If the weather turned sour, they would let the artillery follow at a slower pace while the faster units would continue their advance.

The Lich General Maga took hold of her skull staff and her spell book of Necromancy and starts to chant a series of commanding words.

The eldar gasped at the gate, it was out of nowhere! He quickly turned to tell send a warrior to tell the great lord, but the commotion on the wall had attracted the attention of any person still in the camp. Shouts were rising up, challenging the undead as the warriors climbed to the 1st wall and destroyed any ramps leading over the walls themselves (they were for construction purposes.)
Hussarin stood on the 2nd wall, watching the portal. "Let them come, this time we are ready!"
The 30 archers that had stayed with the army began their rain of arrows from the 2nd wall as well.

The Vampire General replies, "My lady, These barbarians are not peasant warriors they are hardened veterans and full attack would be our best option."
The Lich Maga casts a spell and a series of Chained Dark bolts heads towards the enemy barricade with the intent of draining the life of anyone hit by it.
Some of the humans in the Legion duck to avoid its deadly arching effect.
OOC: alright, the walls I'm fighting from is not a fence, just incase anyone got anything mixed up. Also, a full on assault against verteran warriors is -not- the best option, just so you know, I got stuck with the art of war by the chinese guy at one time.

The elder frowned and began creating more seals to cast spells, this time using his 4 arms for 2 different seals at a time. He sent balls of light at the dark energy each time one was launched.
Hussarin raised his axe in defiance of the enemy approaching, swinging it over his head. "Come and meet true-death!". His warriors also raised their weapons: Hammers, pikes, axes, swords, whatever was nearby was raised up into the sky to show where the enemy was not going once they died.

OOC: make sure not to ignore my traps especially the outer ones:D though you can destroy them of course.
IC: As the undead army surged forward, the tags set down by the anbu began crackling with purifying energy. Holy energy made solid began forming walls of light around the encampment as the seals on the tags were activated. That would stop the undead for a while but would be useless against the living. Behind them, other tags such as the explosive tags waited for enemy to draw closer to them before detonating, releasing large explosions of fire. Other traps such as trip wires caused spikes to shoot out of the ground and kunai and shuriken to be shot out of traps in the trees.
The 42 crusaders got into formation and began casting spells of protection on themselves and further infused their swords with holy energy as they charged the demon inside the encampment. The priests summoned spells of binding and sealing while other priests shot blasts of holy light at it. The anbu squads quickly dashed forward, performing sets of handseals. The 30 mages joined the archers on the wall and began raining down spells of fire, lightning, and ice. Others used the element of wind to form barriers around them and the defenders while large spikes of earth rose out of the ground to impale their foes. Several mages were summoning geysers of boiling water from beneath the earth as well. The 50 archers deployed let loose twin volleys of arrows doused in holy water. Those of the Boggarak Visorak removed all moisture from their targets, thus causing them to become piles of dust; those of the Roporak Visorak were targeted at the enemy that had no physical bodies and drained energy from their targets; the acid of the spinners from the Keelerak Visorak literally caused their targets to melt. Also, when surrounded, the Keelerak Visorak jumped up into the air and spun rapidly, using the razor sharp ends of their legs to try "buzzsaw" the heads off of any enemies in range.

Several crusaders were downed by the demon fairly quickly. They were dragged back and treated by the priests. The anbu after launching several volleys of fire techniques and kunai doused in holy waters formed a handseal and vanished in a swirl of leaves.
Reappearing behind the enemy lines. The anbu captains used a jutsu that caused water to gush out of the ground as the water began to flow, the anbu began forming a long string of handseals. Soon, they all called out, "Suiton, Daibakufu no Jutsu!" Large pillars of water surged across the landscape toward the undead army leaving a trail of devastation behind them. The captains then formed their own handseals and called out, "Fuuton Renkuudan!" Spitting out large bullets of air that shot toward the army, tearing up the ground as they flew.
Demons and undead bloodlust
The elder looked back at the demon, and gasped, how'd that get there? He quickly saw the forces engaged with it and turned to tell the Hussarin, but..
Hussarin was still waving his axe, instilled with the need to avenge his fallen comrades. His warriors put their weapons down for a brief period of time inorder use their throwing axes whenever the enemy came in range.
Hussarin cried out, "Come to this wall and wimper like the cowards you are!"
The elder was doubting the survival of the Amerathian tribes.
Ozin's trap
Ozin smiled at this scene of battle, knowing it was his perfect time, he nodded to a group of warriors behind him and left to join the great lord's side in.. "battle".
Kings Orodullin and Thorin watched the long line of people file past them and into Underkingdom, people whose faces were sullen and whose limbs were tired. But then those people's spirits were lifted as, moving past them as they entered through the giant gateway leading to the underground dwarven city, soldier after soldier marched out. At long last, all of the tribal people were inside, and the assembled army outside. The various commanders were organizing their troops into formation while the aerial units were perched on the ledges above, looking down on the grounded army.
Once everyone was assembled on the field outside of the entrance to Underkingdom, they began moving out. The two kings were at the front of the army, Orodullin on his heavy warhorse, Thorin on his gryphon. Many of the dragons and gryphons were on the ground, walking alongside the army, particularly beside the phalanxes. Several of the fliers stayed in the air, taking in reconnaissance of the immediate vicinity.
As time was of the essence, larger machines of war were disassembled and hauled in wagons, accompanied by enough engineers so as to put the devices back into working order in a short amount of time. Practitioners of the medical arts were strewn throughout the lines, as were various levels of servants and messengers. The cooks, of course, stayed close to the many wagonloads of food and water provisions needed for an army of this size to be on the march, all of which were at the center of the army, the most protected spot.
It would be some time, however, before this army could cover the distance from Underkingdom to the Amerathian stronghold currently under seige.

The rain was quite effective in halting the casting of spells. The mages cursed and shouted the priests. Several priests halted their assaults and called upon the spell of purity. It began to purify the acid rain that fell into the camp. Rather than burning, it became harmless water. One of the anbu smirked. Water...just what he needed. While most other shinobi of lower ranks learned mostly air based jutsu, the anbu were expected to learn a wide variety of them. It just so happened he like to use water jutus. Running to the top of the wall, he formed a string of seals before shouting, "Suiton,Suishouha!" The water began to shoot up and thrash around outside the camp, smashing into foes and either tried to crush them against the ground or drown them. He shouted to his partner to get here. He smiled a little, his partner favored lightning jutsus.....
OOC:Suiton,Suishouha- A jutsu which uses water to thrash all over the place drowning the opponent and slamming them into solid surfaces.
OOC: Just so we don't get confused, I thought the forest was in the south, and the plains to the north. Therefore, if the undead appeared from the defended side of the barricades, then they'd be on the south side, facing north towards the barricades. The demon, being inside the fortifications, would thus be north of the barricades. The encampment itself is wedged between two ledges. That is, if I interpreted Amerath's post correctly.

The A Necromancer cast a spell upon the water making it unholy. Also, from the north side, the encampment would be caught virtually defenseless, and the first demon would still be on the north side instead of the south side anyway. The Soragakure first Army attempt to cleanse the Land.......
The Land was full of Necromantic energy. It would really strong holy magic to break such a terriable hold on the land. The local goblins tribes and trolls had long since vacated the land when they realized that the corruption was here to stay...

Zereth and several of his bretheren were speaking with each other. "The land hasn't been purified," said one. "Indeed, but that is because we don't have the time or the strength to do so at the moment," replied Zereth. Pulling out a scroll, he wrote something before summoning a falcon. Tieing it to its leg, he let it fly toward Soragakure. If they were lucky, they could drive back the undead and get one of the anbu to help them, as the A.N.B.U. corps drew the best from any and all paths, perhaps there would be several high priests among them. That or wait for a contigent of high priests to be deployed to this area.

Inside a beautiful glade a stream meandered through a forest. To the right of the glade there was a pile of rocks where could be heard, if you listened closely, a slight tinking sound, another scraping, and occasional muffled booms. A small pebble fell off one of the boulders... followed by another. More pebbles followed and grunting could be heard. A massive boulder slowely rolled over, dwarves shoving it off their newest tunnel with grunts of effort. Then their lord clamoured out of the tunnel, dust on his armour. "Is this it?? Is this the stream??" The dwarves had been questing for many years to find a stream of legend amoung their people. It was said to be a stream of Alcholic water, which would make the dwarves happier than anything else. He ran as fast as his stumpy legs would move him, almost falling into the water and finding that it was... plain water... He spat it out.
"Ack, where is this blasted river!! Ok lads, out of the tunnel" He took out a map out of his armour breatplate. "Ok, now according to this, there's another stream about 7 kilometre's to the west of here, so rather than waste our effort digging, we will march in our glory!!" After half an hours rest they had left the tunnel and began marching west, straight towards the ranger camp.

Several dwarves began grunting from within, though more work could still be heard, and slowely rolled out a dwarven cannon. It was naturally intricratly(sp??) carved with dwarf runes of magic and luck. They wheeled it over to face a tree from a range of about 35 metres. The dwarf who had taken the orb came back to the elf. "Now THIS is how you kill something!!" The cannon crew had it loaded, and the dwarf had noticed the elf had caught the orb. "HA!! Glass... Fire!!" The cannon boomed low, spewing fire from its mouth, and with it came a lare metal orb, carved with runes as was the cannon. It broke the trre in half, went straight through several more before hitting a large stone an exploding in a fireball. "That, elf, is how you kill things!! GLASS!! HAHA!!" He and the other dwarves began laughing uproariously.

The elven engineer gave sigh of relief as he managed to catch the orb before it shattered. Watching the dwarven weapon go off, he was amazed at it's firepower. Smirking a little though, he walked over to a trebuchet crew and handed them the orb before instructing them to fire at tree further away. Nodding the crew loaded the orb and removed the restraints, the orb was thrown high into the air and as it reached its highest point, it split open. Fiery red orbs seemed to cover the area around the tree. As the orbs shattered, they let loose the magic bound within, covering the area around the tree in a fiery conflaguration of intense liquid flame. It continued to burn for several minutes before dying down. Once the flame died down, what was left of the tree and the area around it were large puddles of molten liquid.

"BAH!! Magic!! Useless!! If you thought the cannon was impressive, wait till the mortar is done!! Not to mention the volley gun!! I spose I must admit though, that wasnt bad... For an elf machine anyway!!" He looked the elf in the eyes, held out a greasy looking hand. "The names Anaba, Im cheif engineer of our forces. And by the way. Your trebuchet, Its built wrong. You have a double knot where there should be a triple... And dont even have a knot there!! And look on that side, The angles are all wrong!!" 'This one doesent seem bad... For an elf...

The high elf smiled and clasped Anaba's hand. "Well met Anaba. My name is Avalith, head of the engineering corps for the first army. My engineers will adjust our engines as you have instructed and I must admit that I am anxious to see what other devices you have."
OOC: sorry, was busy with other things in life...

And there, suddenly, on the wall, stood The Arkanin and Hussarin, both stared at the battlefield, arrows from their archers firing off into the mass. The warriors ready to attack anything coming too close. Hussarin raised his axe in defiance yet again..
He spoke to the new comers and smiled as best he could, "Welcome to Amerath, we are currently in a bad situation." With that he dropped the axe towards the battlefield, letting his single catapult fire towards the mass of undead. He was just trying to keep morale up. (Wonder what happened to that demon?)
He shouted out to his warriors, "Steel yourselves! The enemy approaches, and I expect this to be the last of our fight! Free life to the tribes of Amerath." Every warrior in the barricade pit roared out at the enemy.
"Come for true death!"

The surving truedragons landed in friendly territory to rest and regain their strength.
Few minutes later (near Avalith)...
Grim walked gracefully out of the darkness and said, "Excuse me, but I thought you should meet Miss Saka. She just teleported in from the Dominion."
The woman (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y131/Kvess/Character%20Pics/catgirl_1207.jpg) that had walked up behind the Gargoyle smiled and nodded in greeting. Her revolver resting in its holster on her left hip.

"All right Avalith, all in good time." The dwarf grinned at the elf. "Some things are best left unused until there needed... But I think we can make an exception. We'll show you a mortar first shall we??" he nodded to the cannon crew
By this time, the tent had fallen almost silent. The cannon was rolled back inside, and soon the dwarves came back with another intricate machine. This one had a far wider mouth that slanted upward at a rougly 45 degree angle. They armed this one as far away as they could. It took them moments to call everyone to duck, before flames belched forth flame. At first nothing happened. Then a whistling noise could be heard, and almost 500 metres away a massive gout of flame appeard on the ground. "Now THATS a weapon!! Still, its nothing compared to our volley guns!!"
As the warriors of Amerath roared at their approaching enemy, their voices were joined with the thunderous roar of a Remtkaran dragon from seemingly out of nowhere. That, in turn, was chorused by the bellows of other dragons and the higher-pitched shrieks of the gryphons, combining their voices into an earth-shaking clamor from the east. The sound dies off, followed by a brief silence before the heavy whooshing of wings filled the air, and the forms of nine dragons and fifteen gryphons floated over the rolling hills and up into the sky. Fire belched forth from the dragons, while the hammers of the dwarven gryphon riders crackled and sizzled with lightning, a tactic intended to strike terror into the enemy before engagement.
For those paying more attention to the hills than to the fliers, the front row of the Remtkaran army could be seen topping the hills. They were followed by row after row after row of men, wielding various armors and weapons. Some were heavily armored with swords, others with lighter armor and 18-foot long pikes. Others still were mounted on horses, and even more appeared to be squat and stout warriors with bushy beards.
The aerial fighters flew over the tightly packed mass of the undead army, the dragons unleashing their flamethrower-like breaths while the gryphon riders electrocuted their targets below with long arcs of blue electricity zapping forth from their enchanted hammers. This was, of course, to keep the enemy off-balance long enough for the army to get into formation.
With various blows of different types of trumpets, the army from the east would change course or hold position or form up their lines. Staying just outside of arrow range, the very front lines of the army was composed of archers, each wielding a longbow and an arrow, ready to be nocked in an instant. Two arrows stuck into the ground in front of each of these archers to provide for a quick retrieval for successive waves of arrow attacks. Behind them was a much larger group of infantry. The soldiers, pikemen, wore medium armor and held onto their long pikes upright. Shields strapped to their left arms were designed with grooves as to allow the pikes to rest on them while in a horizontal position. These pikemen were formed into five main columns, with some space inbetween them to allow the archers to retreat through before they would quickly close up the gaps to form a solid front. To their sides and their backs were a host of swordsmen and dwarven warriors, and the flanks were composed of various cavalry units. More archers were positioned near the middle of the formations, and the catapults were by the rear.
The two kings and their retinue were at a nearby hill, which was higher and gave them a better vantage point to watch the battle from.
The Remtkaran allied army had arrived.

The Amerathians cut short their roar as suddenly, there were many more than their small army could detect. They looked around in confusion before seeing the amassed army heading towards them, cries of encouragement went out from the 200 tribesperson army.
Hussarin smiled at the battlefield, waving his axe in circles over his head as a greeting. The lesser lords began gossip over rumors of who the new ones were. Ozin stood quiet.

Laughing, Avalith shouted, "I'll have to wait a little, the barrier has just fallen. We must prepare to launch our assault now." Rushing over to the other elven engineers, he began shouting out orders.
---------Sora no Kuni, capital of Sora region, headquarters of the Sacred Order-------
The mist that hung around the city seemed to add to its already awe-inspiring beauty. The sunlight that streamed through the mist shined upon the alabaster colored towers of the city. A lone figure could be seen rushing through the city and into the central tower.
The messanger gave a sigh of relief after he delivered the scroll to a guard inside the tower. The guard placed the scroll into a tube and dropped into a pipe.
At the other end of the pipe, the scroll fell out and landed in a box. A figure dressed in pale blue robe with silver and white edges and a light bright steel breastplate picked up the scroll. Opening it, he let out a gasp. Kimura-sama had just given orders for the 1st Elite Anti-Demon Dragoon Corp to be deployed immediately. They were authorized to get them to his location by whatever means necessary. Quickly, he rushed off to alert the 1st Corp's captain.
