Shadow Wars (FT OPEN, Check OOC thread for details) - Page 2

OOC: I'll be taking control of the Shadows from this point to keep things going.
IC:
Shadow vessels continued to phase in and out as they carried strafing runs ons the remaining SSDs. There were only three left and one was badly damaged with explosions popping up every now and then.
The psychics on board the Shadow vessels sensed the formation of the new fleet. A score was left to finish off the remainding SSDs while the rest went after the newly arrived fleet.
--------------------------------
Doron and Lord Rahl's ships were rocked with attacks. They were having difficulty tracing them as they phased in and out. The only thing they could do was hold their fire and await for them to appear.
Admiral Wakapale was finally in position to make out the attack. "All ships prepare to launch counter attack. Guardships to the head of the column using only energy weapons. Patrolships and Attack Vessels will fly as back up and cover for smaller fighters...Move in."
The Abh fleet moved forward preparing to engage the Shadows and to drive them off.

Abh Medical Frigate
She only leans back and smiles with a look in her eyes that would freeze the blood of a normal man. The plain black leather of her uniform crinkling.
She sensually says, "I see no reason to divulge that information. Besides, I do belive you don't have the proper security clearance."
She continues to look around with an icey look in her eyes.
Abh Capital System
The SeaQuestian fleet floating around the Abh capital have their defense systems at full. All systems are on the trips.
SeaQuestian Command Ship - Bridge
"General, we have incoming."
"Let me have it, friendlies?"
No response.
"Come on, Seargant."
"I don't think so."
Outside
The SeaQuestian fleet moves from a guard formation to a defensive formation that would allow them to concentrate all firepower on the vector of the incoming Shadow ships.

Skykes eyed the woman.
"Fair enough, what exactly are you here for?"
He received a radio call.
"There done with Cain in surgery boss. When he wakes up I'll bring him back in."
"Very good captain."
Skykes realized what the Seaquestian woman was doing.
"Let me guess, you're here for the interrogation. Don't tell me you're going to arrest me for war crimes."

OOC: Paintcheck, the SeaQuestian version of the PsyCorps is a seperate entity from the military and only answers to the Emperor.
IC: She leans back and says, "War crimes? What war crimes? All I saw was an partially successful interrigation," she moves her icey gaze to Skykes, "though an interrigation that lacked finesse. Your method was effective, brutual but effective, though not as effective as it could have been."

15-10-2005, 03:48
Ok. Deatharon, whenever you see fit, please wake Cain up lol
"Yes thank you, I take great pride in my interrogation methods," Skykes said with a hint of sarcasm.
"All I need is that last answer. What do you mean 'lacked finesse'? That's the best way to do it, though I think I may have broken his rib too soon. Should have tried something different first. Once he wakes up I'll start on him again. YOu know this is top secret, right?"
Skykes realized after looking into those icy eyes that yes, this woman was a pro.
"Sorry for that last question."

The SeaQuestian women crossed her legs to get more comfortable in the metal chair, "Your method involves physical methods, there are mental methods that can be more 'effecient'. Work the mind, bring in someone of the opposite gender if need be."
Paintcheck
15-10-2005, 04:15
"And you can 'work the mind' as you put it? I've only ever seen that done once, to me unfortunately on Zeros, the Deatharon prison world. You can do it too? The prisoner may have training in fighting the mind probes, because that's how Deatharon interrogates it's prisoners, when it takes them. It's not that hard. I did it without any training, though I was lucky I passed out before too long."
Zecker was becoming increasingly wary of this stranger. Of course, like him, she probably didn't exist either.
SeaQuest
15-10-2005, 04:18
She sighed, "I am not talking about telepathy, though at the later stages that can be applied. When I said 'mental' I was not speaking of mental powers, I was speaking of how it affects the targets frame of mind. Perhaps I should show you what I mean the next go around."
Deatharon

Cain woke up and he was not feeling good. He was having one hell of a headache and his ribs were still not in the best shape. He kept his eyes closed and tried to play possium. If they did not know he was awake they would not try and torture him or so he hoped.
Paintcheck
15-10-2005, 16:03
Cain's pulse spiked, indicating that he was finally concious. Krytson called it in.
"Sir, the prisoner is awake and playing possem. Should I bring him up?"
"No, leave him there a little longer."
Krytson walked over to Cain and said, "I know you're awake and so does the commander, but being the nice person he is, he's going to give you more resting time. He's not all bad."
Deatharon
15-10-2005, 17:49
Cain realizes his pulse gave him away he tries to lower it by relaxing. He does not even respond to Krytson. HE keeps his eyes closed through the whole process. He even uses some Psy energy to help in this process. however do to the fact he is not a master of Psy power his heart starts going to low and he hits cardiac shock.
Paintcheck
15-10-2005, 18:06
"Goddamit! Boss, he's gone into cardiac arrest, I have no idea what happned. One minute he's perfectly stable, the next his pulse is almost nothing."
The reply comes back, "Do what you can, doctors are on the way."
Krytson looks around the room for an adrenaline injection, or anything else that might restart Cain's heart. He can hear sirens going off telling the doctors that Cain is in shock. Krytson pulls his stun gun out and dials the inetnsity back, hoping to use it as a makeshift defibulator. He shoots Cain straight in the chest and sends a shock through his body.
The doctors come in with the right injections and a real defibulator. They yank the stun gun "bullet" (Think taser) out of his chest and shove the Captain aside.
"Doctors are here boss, I think he might pull through."
"That's good. No mistakes this time. As soon as he is well enough, get him back up here."
Skykes had the feeling that somehow Cain had induced the shock upon himself, though he had no proof supporting it. He turned to the lady, who seemed almost amused at Skykes panic.
"Hopefully there is a next go around for you to show me what you're talking about."

Cain was thinking as he was starting to have a regular pulse that he would never use Psy energy to lower his pulse rate again. He lets out a scream of pain.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Other Pows were worried about Cain. The Mrrshan had heard his cries of pain and the Antarans had felt his Psy energy fluxs. The second in Command a Mrrshan female officer named Fireas decides that the Abh and there allies are tortureing Cain for the Fatherland's secrets. She has a plan and plans to play it out agaisnt the double crossing Abh.
OOC: Mrrshan: Catlike humaniod species has superior hearing and smell senses. Plus they have great agility, and are accurate when shooting.
Antarans:Elder Race has mastered Psy energy can regen, grow claws ect.
Marines: Human Supersoldiers.
Regs: Humans have limited Psy ability thanks to manditory gentic engeneering.

"He's going to pull through boss."
"Good to know. Give him an hour or 2."
Skykes breathed a sigh of relief. His most valuble asset was going to live. He then remembered the marines he called in to take the prisoner's sirius viruses.
"Hey bridge? What is the word on the marines who searched the prisoners?"
"We got the virus, yes. They are wondering about their commander though."
Damn, they must have heard him cussing and screaming earlier
"Krytson, I need you to go tell the prisoners their commander is ok. I think we have no choice but to tell them that he is being interrogated. Be sure to tell them that Abh had nothing to do with it, I don't want them to suffer prolonged war with Deatharon if it was our fault. Also, make sure they know that we have no plans to kill them or torture them."
Hopefully they won't ask to see him.
Skykes turned to the Seaquestain woman. "You think you can 'persuade' the prisoners not to riot after they find out what happened?"
Deatharon
16-10-2005, 03:22
Cain was starting to feel better he decides to send out an S.O.S. to his fellow prisoners. He uses what is left of his Psy energy to send a call for help to the others.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Antarans pick it up and one of them whispers to Fireas. She has a plan the she unseathes her claws and cuts a fellow Mrrshan's flex cuffs. He starts to cut off other cuffs untill the enemy Marines arrive to tell them the news about Cain. Two of the Mrrshan prisioners hide behind the side of the door and pounce them from behind. The Mrrshan kill them with there claws by cuting there throats so they do not scream out. They cut everyone elses bounds and prepare a resuce and escape mission of this death trap.

"Sir, we have a problem."
"Yeah?"
"Whole squad of marines are dead, throats slit. All the prisoners have escaped."
"Goddammit." The eperor isn't going to like this... He dialed in the bridge frequency.
"Skykes here. Lock the ship down. The prisoners have escaped. They have shivs or something, all the cuffs have been cut, and your marines have had their throat slit. Lock everything down, especially the bridge and escape pods and the hangar. I'm going after them."
Shivs won't get through a steel door, and I have armor and a rifle.
Then he added as an afterthought, "Broadcast on the ship's PA that their commander is fine." It might work.
"Krytson, grab your rifle, we're going hunting."
Krytson obeyed. He check that his rifle was hot and lethal, and that his stun gun was on the highest intensity. The emperor is going to have Skykes's head. He trotted off to the room Skykes was in.
The Seaquestain stranger seemed amused by the commotion.
"Your interrogation methods seemed to have started something."
Yeah, thanks for that.
"Can you fight?" Without waiting for an answer, he drew his sidearm and handed it to her.
"It's got a small generator in it, so as long as you don''t shoot fast, you won't need to reload."
Krytson burst through the door.
"Lets go." The 2 marines unsafed their rifles and started sweeping through the ship.

Cain was still sending his Psy S.o.S. out to the Prisoners.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
One of the Antarans use there Psy ability to give make the illusion that the group is not visable. The Prisioners stay close so they can not be seen. One of the Marines starts to use a computer panel. He attempts to overide the lockdowns in the Interragation room, the hall and the escape pods. One of the Antarans start to prepare a massive Psy assualt on the incomeing Kryston and Skykes. The prisioners ingore the P.A. annoucement, The Fatherland taught them early that foriegners could not be trusted and in this situation it seemed justified.
OOC: Think like an invisable cloak device except tracking singals and scanners can still detect them.

The pows may have remained undetected had, at that point, Krytson hadn't sneezed, accidently switching his visor to thermal.
"Holy crap! Sir they're right here, go to thermal."
He raised his rifle
Skykes switched to thermal also. "Not yet Krytson, lets see if we can talk. They're up against the wall, and they can't open that door." He reported their position to the bridge.
"Alright, uncloak or whatever that is, it doesn't trick thermal sensors. That's a neat trick though, mind teaching it to me? We're not going to kill you, unlike your leaders, we don't kill unarmed POWS." Skykes hoped that would prompt a response from the Deatharon pilots in front of him. He'd rather not shoot them, but Krytson's and his life were far more important then there's. As if to illustarte his point, he slung his rifle. He also hoped they didn't recognize him as the one who took their commander. Fat chancem how many other 7foot tall humans running around in black armor are there on this ship.
"You're commander is fine. He had a heart attack of some sort while I was asking him some questions. He also has a broken rib, but that's been fixed. He is not dead, he is not being tortured. You are all on your way back to Deatharon Prime, we have no intention of keepiong you from your families. Hey, stop that!" He unslung his rifle and shot the computer the Deatharon hacker was working on. It was a difficult shot for a normal human, but he was the best shot in a while. The slug hit the computer, destroying it. He slung his rifle."Sorry about that, but I wouldn't work on that door if I were you. The hangar isn't sealed, in lockdown the outer doors open up. Ever wondered what being in a vacuum feels like?"
Deatharon
16-10-2005, 04:27
Fireas snarls and saids, "We heard our comrade screaming in pain. If he hasa broken rib it is because you crushed it while tortureing him for info. The High Command has warned us that foriegners are not to be trusted." She unseathes her claws.
The Hacker being a Marine stands up and being about 7ft tall saids, "Why pick on a little man like Cain if you want to rough some one up take someone your own size like me." He flexes his musclues and saids, "I will take you hand to hand one on one unless you want to cower behind a firearm."
Paintcheck
16-10-2005, 04:34
"Ah, so that's how he faked the heart attack. Thought only that Psyker on Zeros could use that psy stuff like that. I'd love to go hand to hand with you, but not right now, seeing as if I put my weapon down, all 19 of you will rush me at once. I'm a good fighter, but frankly I can't take on 19 at once. By the way, I'm not from the Abh empire, I'm a mercenary more of less just fighting for them. My interrogation of your commander in their doesn't fall under their laws, so don't hurt any more of their men. And yeah, I broke his rib, but what would your interrogators do in that stuation? Having been interrogated by one of your fine CIC operatives, I know the answer to that, so don't say what I did was out of context."
Skykes was uneasy now. 19 against 2 weren't good odds, even though most were pilots who didn't have much hand to hand training, and he had a rifle.
Deatharon
16-10-2005, 04:42
Fireas snarls and said, "Cain did nothing agaisnt you. If you tortured him for not talking that is hardly honorable. The C.I.C. may lack honor but the military of Deatharon has never done you any wrong." She keeps her claws and stance at ready. (remeber she is a cat like humaniod which means enhanced senses and agility.)
The Marine adds, "You have a friend over there that could blast 19 of us in a matter of seconds. If you want to go one on won, I can guantee that none of these fine Deatharon soldiers will jump in. We are trained to not perform anything so stupid as that."
OOC: Mrrshan like Fireas are honorable creatures that hate the current way things work in Deatharon but they believe in the Fatherland to there last breath.

"His reflexes are good, but not good enough to shoot around me while you guys rush him and me. Plus, If I take my armor off, the second we finish, you'll rush me. Plus, what do I stand to win if I pound the crap out of him over there. If you beat me, you get almost guarenteed freedom. If i beat you, all that happens is you rush me and the captain over there and then you get freedom. I did nothing against your CIC man. I gave him fair warning, I gave him 3 chances to tell me waht I wanted to know. I would have given him more if he hadn't gotten defiant. I also gave him fair warning what would happen if he didn't cooperate, and I told him what would happen if he did cooperate. Dishonorable? Maybe, but he had more then enough chances. I'll tell you the same thing I told him. I'm not interrogating him for the good of Abh or anything like that, in fact, their emperor told me I shouldn't. I'm interrogating him for revenge. If you want to hear that story, I'll tell it, but I didn't hurt him without fair warning. I'm doing the same for you, I could kill you all right now, but because I don't believe in killing unarmed POWs, and because I know lots of you have families you'd like to return to, I'm not going to shoot untill provoked." Not good, they want to fight. A 2nd thought pooped into his head, one he was surprised came in. You can take him.
Deatharon
16-10-2005, 05:05
Fireas adds, "Cain is not part of the C.I.C. he is part of the Fighter Core of the 1st Confed fleet. If you read his barcode on his right arm you would have got that information. He did not say anything because if he did he would to have to fast a fireing sqaud at home or a one way trip to Zeros." She watchs the two of them and waits for a chance to pounce them. She looks at the other 4 Mrrshan who do the same. (preadatory instinct at work.)
The Marine smiles and said, "The words of a coward. You can beat on a defenseless reg but can not take on a Marine from the Panther Pride. I am offended." He also prepares to strike there is no way they are going to a cell with a comrade screaming in Psy for help.
The Antarans prepare a Psy blast to assualt Kyston's mind.

If anything could get Skykes motivated, it was calling him a coward.
"Alright asshole, lets go. Here and now. He tossed his rifle to Kryston and started to take off his helmet when he froze. Can't let them see my face...what the hell, the boys at Zeros have my picture already.
He took it off, and his chest piece gloves, and arm guards. He took his leg guards off too, untill he was barechested and wearing only shorts. "Barefoot and barehand acceptable to you?"
Deatharon
16-10-2005, 05:16
The Marine smiles and saids, "fine by me." He pulls off his boots and gloves. The Marine takes up a defensive combat stance.

"None of this Psy stuff either, staright up hand to hand."
Skykes lunged and aimed a kick at the marine's head.
Deatharon
16-10-2005, 05:26
The Marine blocks the incomeing kick an attempts a low leg sweep. The Marine replies, "Only cowards need Psy attacks agaisnt non Psykers."
The Antarans look really offended by this comment. They still prepare to attack Kryston's mind should he threaten to shoot them or the Marine.
OOC: Just state what your character does and his attack reaction that what I do.

"Human? You insult me," she slings back, "I'll have you know I happen to be half-Betazoid and half-Alteran. Both lineages have superior mental abilities," she grins, "Plus, being a Major in the Imperial Mind Corps has taught me a few tricks over the years," she slings a mental bolt hoping to distract the Deatharon.
OOC: Yes, I know Alteran is the proper name for the Ancients. I'm using the unascended version with a few alterations. Mine are a few hundered years prior to the versions that ascended. Mainly because my Imperial home planet is called Altera.
As for this women, I'll reveal her name later. One reason I brought her out was to introduce a new part of my armed forces.

The Antaran was distracted by the mental bolt. He was not a very powerful Antaran. (He's only a fighter pilot.) He does not even reply he is busy defending his own mind from possiable attack and invasion.
OOC: The Antarans are an alien race in my nation that are older and more technological advanced than the others. They have Ascended and have now become our equalvent of the Ori. These here were not around when the rest of there race Ascended once they get back the Antarans will welcome them home and help them Ascend into the void. OOC: Deatheron, just to let you know, if this was a less experience member of my Mind Corps (ie, of lesser rank), your Antaran would have probably fried her brain.
Also, I made this so as I want to use her to tell some story.
Who else has noticed that this has moved from a fleet RP to a more character RP?
Deatharon
16-10-2005, 08:26
OOC: My bad I thought you said she was a higher ranking one. plus this Antaran is a really low ranking Psyker in comparision to majority of his species. and ohh I did notice that change!!!
IC: The Antaran was surpised that he had not yet broken her mind and fried it like he planed. He sends a telepathic message, "Very well, My fight is not with you yet. but should you help the enemy. We will all attack. The other four Antarans look at her at the same time.

She asks, "Mathmatically, who do you predict will win this fight?"
Deatharon
16-10-2005, 09:01

After the emperor gave Skykes permission to interrogate the Deatharon pilots, he took Cain and started to work on him. Meanwhile, Seaquestian ships are coming to help your fleet around your capital. During the interrogation, Skykes breaks Cain's ribs, and he goes into surgery, also around that time Seaquest sends their equivelant of a Psyker (more or less) to helo with Skykes interrogation. After the surgery, Cain sends an S.O.S to the other prisoners and they escape. Skykes, who is now afraid the emperor is going to kill him and his second in command Krytson chase after them, finding them in a corridor near the hangar trying to break into it. Skykes is now going hand to hand with one of Deatharon's marines, and most of the pages have been about the fight. That's about it I think.

OOC: Thanks Paintcheck. I hope you guys are close to wrapping up your interrogation because we can't have Deatharon POWs suspended indefinatly. I'll give you a time a limit later. You still have sometime since this ship doesn't have light speed and has to hump it through every Sord ^_^
IC: The Shadows engaging the fleets around the Capital launched their fighters. They ignored all communication attempt and instead answered them with fires from their shadow rays. Any ship that appeared to be taking control or anchoring the fleet was targeted outright.
The other half engaged Wakapale's fleet. The bulk of the shadows tore through Guardships and Patrolships alike. Their shields were of little use. Abh and human bodies fell from carcasses of destroyed ships.
Admiral Wakapale watched it all as it seemed a repeat of her first encounter. "All ships, energy attacks only. Squadrons are to cut shadow vessels off from the rest and pound them to death with anti-proton cannons. Mines are to not be used as attack devices only defensive purposes are allowed."

IC: The SeaQuestian vessels that had them launched every fighter and shuttle with a weapon out of their hangers. The vast swarm of hundereds of fighters smashed into the swarm of Shadow fighters head on. Some impacted directly into enemy fighters in the first few seconds dew to miscalculation on the pilots part destroying both SeaQuestian fighter and Shadow fighter. Meanwhile, the SeaQuestian capital ships began to open up with their weapons on the Shadow capital ships. Soon, the space between the fleets was filled with a multi-hued symphony of color.
OOC: I'll come up with the number of ships I have helping out against the Shadow's when I get a chanch, Abh.
The Humankind Abh

OOC: That's fine.
IC: The shadow fighters continued to push against enemy fighters with abandon. Battle crabs turned their attention to heavier parts of the battle and sending out steady streams of deadly golden rays.
Richard was commanding his SSD trying to get through to the SeaQuestian ships. "Watch out over there. They tend to phase in and out to keep us from locking on to their ships."
The other side of the battle field faired much the same way. Wakapale's fleet was taking heavy losses but Rulef and Mustaf were supposedly on their way along with a large contigent of forces. More than half of Star Forces was being thrown at this invading force and they were being chewed alive. On the positive side they were actually taking down Shadow vessels with them. Unfortunatly they couldn't keep the current ratio up.

OOC: Okay, I went back and counted all the ships I have in helping to defend your capital, Abh. Here is the list: ten Ha'tak class long-range warship/assault ship/carriers, twenty-five Al'Kesh class mid-range bombers, five Bluestar class scout ships, fifteen Whitestar class monitors, twenty Liandra class cutters, ten Vorchan class attack cruisers, and nine O'Neill class advanced long-range warships.
IC: The Liandras, Bluestars, Vorchans, and Whitestars swept foward. Acting as a group, they englobed and destroyed several small enemy ships. The Al'Kesh used their dual staff cannon turrets to defend themselves against the Shadow fighters as they took off on bombing rungs against the large Shadow vessels. The O'Neills began to bombard the Shadow fleet with their energy cannons while the Ha'Taks used their fixed staff cannons. Ships were lost from the Shadow's return fire, but using the information sent from the Abh fleet, the ship designated as flagship of this SeaQuestian fleet was able to have the mathmatically inclined members of its crew to try to calculate the trajectories of the Shadow ships as they phased in and out of Hyperspace.

The Shadow vessels were beginning to be pushed back as more and more fell to the coordinated effort of the SeaQuestian ships. There were around five battlecrabs left in this sector as the bulk was facing Admiral Wakapale's fleet.
In an effort to break out, the Shadows concentrated all fire on one area of SeaQuest's ships and made a push to get out of the enclosing circle.
Wakapale was finally joined by Rulef and Mustaf. They had the advantage of numbers but the Shadows still attacked head on. They took a scissor approach to the fleets as they rushed at full speed cutting down ships either with their beams or ramming into other ships.
Guardships began to adjust strategies for such attacks. Patrolships took the lead for mobility and were ordered to get out of the way once seeing a ship charging in. Guardships would focus all their Anti-Proton cannons to stop the Shadow vessel while other Abh ships moved to surround the stopped vessel and destroy.
The strategy had the desired affect as more shadows were then cut down but it still cost the Abh fleet dearly for this manuever.

Skykes hit the marine over the head with his elbow, just to make sure he was out for a while. He started to put his armor back on.
"Alright, now that that's out of the way, I'll give you 10 seconds to get up against the wall over there and spread your arms and legs." The SeaQuestian ships each fight to the last. Several are destroyed by the Shadow's attempts to break through, but not all the Shadow ships make it. The ships that can bombard the fleeing enemy ships with their aft weapons. The remaining ships move over and join the Abh formation. Meanwhile, around half of all the SeaQuestian fighters are either destroyed or disabled. The rest, though, keep on dog-fighting with the Shadow fighters.

Two battlecrabs manage to make it out of the ring while the rest of the shadow fighters are sumarrily hunted down and destroyed. Those that managed to escape quickly phased out never to return.
Wakapale's fleet was beginning to feel the heavy losses as more of her ships were being destroyed once the Shadows caught on to her strategy. They had managed to take out ten crabs with it though so that was a plus.
They were no following the lead charger with a cloaked vessel that would appear right behind the ring and tear through any ships caught off guard. They hammered away at the grouped Abh ships with abandon taking much damage for their efforts.
They pressed the attack even further upon sincing the closing in of the SeaQuestian fleet.

The Shadow vessels fate was reversed with the aid of SeaQuest. Ships were being outright destroyed at a ratio that was unacceptable to the Shadows. The bulk of their fleet phased out of the fight while some remained to fight it out to the last.
Admiral Wakapale had them surrounded and utterly destroyed. With that it was soon over. Out of the three thousand ships that went to the battle under the banner of the Abh Empire only one thousand remained. Two thousand had been destroyed while several thousand casualties were reported. "All ships, Abh and SeaQuest, are to head for the Capital. A command meeting of all Admirals and Commanders will be held after this. All Abh ships had reported and docked with the Capital. It was a miss. The Capital had fallen off its axis and was leaning heavily to the left. Debris and smoke floated throughout the area. Casualties had been low since the majority of the citizens were moved to a secure location. The greatest destruction was down on the planets below where all life had been destroyed. It was unknown if they would be able to make those planets hospitable again.
A meeting was ordered by the Emperor himself and all Admirals and Commanders were to report to the main audience room. There they could form a plan of rebuilding and counterattacks. Lord Rahl, Doron, Trife, Spoor, and Dusanyu were already present while they waited. Atosuryua, Lexshue, Rulef, Wakapale, and Mustaf were docking their shuttles at the present and heading straight away to the meeting. Dusanyu walked over and took control of the keyboard. He brought a holographic image of the system. "As of now we have two major planets completely destroyed of all life and it is as of yet still unknown whether or not they can be repaired. The capital itself has lost pressure in a few levels mostly centered around generators and defensive power supplies. Our defense capabilities are at fifteen percent."
He then brought up a screen showing shipyards. "Our facilities are mostly intact except for the few that are here." He punched in another screen showing far more devastation. "The Super Star Destroyers were all destroyed except for the two that are still left from the battle and the three that are due from the government of Neo Zeta still. All sensitive shipyards are still fully intact thanks to the impenetrable defenses of Neo D'Hara."
He looked around at his Admirals and Commanders present. "Now we have to gather what is left of our forces so they can be counted. We have one thousand present with an extra two thousand still out there on patrol. That leaves three thousand and whatever ships are completed in the other ship yards. I fear we do not have enough to launch a counter attack at this moment and still maintain defenses of our borders. Are there any suggestions?"

He focused his gaze on Spoor, Trife, and Bebaus. "How soon can you marshal a fleet?"
Bebaus was the first to speak up with usual passion. "My fleet can be ready to move within 12 hours your highness!"
Trife was his usual analytical self. "It would all depend on what type of ships we would need for the battle and I would need to find replacements for some of the ships lost today and a supply fleet for added anti-matter."
Spoor was the calm one of the group. "It will take one day to rally the Latopanyue forces."
Dusanyu looked at them all in turn. "Do it. Form your fleets in the interest of focused energy attacks. Frontlineships are not needed."
He looked at Lord Rahl next. "I would like for you to take command of the Victory. Your people will have reign over the remaining Super Star Destroyers but I want you to command this ship. We may have need for it yet and I want you commanding it. Take Kahlan with you if you are assigned a mission for I do not know how long you will be gone."

IC: Dusanyu nodded and smiled. "Thank you."
His gaze settled around the room. "Our current status is that with a combination of militia and the remained of Star Forces, we can muster four thousand ships. Hardly anything elite to what we had. We'll need at least half of that force to stay behind and guard the construction of the Capital. There will have to be constant patrols around the area while Sords are fortified. Send the Frontlineships to every Sord and have them launch marines surrounding it. Then establish mobile fortresses to command the mines. Make sure there are enough forces to keep law and order established on all planets."
Dusanyu sighed thoroughly flustered. "The goodnews is that the Whitestars are still rolling off the line along with the Victory Class Destroyers. These vessels will allow Star Forces to grow in numbers since we will make them pilotable by humans and will allow humans to command. With the incentive of command and higher status, people will flock to the academies. It will rebuild exponentionally. All we need is the man power to run the factories."

He focused his gaze on Richard and Doron. "Bring the Excalibur back to the Capital. I want it fully armed with its full contigent of fighters. Make sure it has plenty of supplies. You may be gone for awhile so bring Kahlan with you along with three Mord-Sith."
Richard saluted but looked a little confused as he left the room along with Doron. That left only Wakapale, Rulef, and Mustaf in the room with Baldir and Bradley.
Dusanyu looked around the room. "It will take a few days for them to return. Until that time, I would like our forces to work together on patrols and reconstruction. The Emperor looked at Bradley. "Only spare what you can. Of course your war with Jurai takes precedent and I would not divert that focus. For the mean time the danger has passed and we are analyizing remains of the Shadow vessels to gather information on their technology. We'll be ready for them next time. Your support will be more than enough. If you are shy vessels to secure your nation, let us know."
He then focused his gaze back on to the room. "It is clear that our defenses of this capital are inferior. We will be taking measures to fix all problems by upgrading defense turrets and shields of the Capital. Any recommendations would be appreciated."
It would take about 72 hours for the Excalibur to arrive at the capital. In the mean time repairs were already under way. The Capital had been restored to its original axis and placed back into orbit around the single sun. Pressure leaks were already being delt with as repair crews were being brough back from secure locations on nearby moons. Welding had already begun on outer doors and walls. Defense systems were being repaired while the generators for Space Time were being brought back on line. Work was also being done to secure the defense shield generators. Trianna said, "Like I said, they were designed for ease of mass production. This also means they lack any form of F.T.L. engines. The controls in this model are designed to be as simple as possible. The controls were designed after those in the cockpits of ancient atmospheric fighters. A throttle for speed, a joystick for manuvering, a trigger for firing. Oh, speaking of that, I forgot to mention that the weapons are rigged for linked-fire and will both fire one you pull the trigger. The safety is a thumb switch on the joystick," she pauses for breath as she watches technicians move ladders to the sides of the fighters and open the cockpits, "the best way I have to describe these fighters in combat would be to compare them to gnats. We don't have one aboard, and their use is strictly regulated, as they can sometimes cause the subject to lose their sanity or become blubbering idiots."

OOC: Paintcheck I hear your trying to join the G.F.F.A. My nation is part of that alliance won't that led to your Marine Skykes being against the alliance because he would technically be on the side as the Fleet Marshal Dylan Hunt? Hey Seagate my nation has been trying to get a Sarcophagus for our Emperor so he does not have to rely on the Constant cloneing tech problem of his D.N.A. weaking over all the times he has been cloned.

That is true, but then wouldn't both Abh and Seaquest have the same problem? I was actually wondering about that myself.

OOC: @Deatharon: Mention it in the G.F.F.A. meeting thread. My last post there included an IC mention of the Sarcophagus technology. Don't want OOC clutter.
