I have seen it that if you intend to use something for a non-defence purpose, you can purchase it from other parts of the budget. I have done so from Law and Order, as well as Public Transport/Commerce. If you decide you don't like this, then I will purchase more later.

Not to mention, I don't believe I have a technology section up where people can buy that sort of thing..... What you'd have to do is to buy a old ISD or ST ship, and reverse engineer (I think that's the correct term) the technology from it.

ooc: 2 guesses as to what this means:

1: (s)he's looking for a sublight array capable of transporting a junkload of stuff at .5C. If so, any engine can concievably propel that much at that speed. However, you'll want something powerful to get the stuff up to speed in any sort of short timeframe. (such as a few human lifespans or less)

2: (s)he's thinking of Han Solo in Star Wars saying ".5 past light speed" and that being really fast.

If 1, unless you go Trekkie, you'll need a lot of your internal volume devoted to engines to stay within a sane timeframe. If 2, go with generic 'jump drive' tech, and you'll go fast enough.

Unfortunately, it proved to be cannon fodder for any craft above frigate class during both war games and field tests. An inquiry showed that while it was more than capable at decimating fighter squadrons, there was no heavy offensive weaponry to speak of. Therefore, development was started on the ‘Wasp II’ class. The aim was to keep the same anti-fighter capabilities, yet add some sort of armament for use against capital ships.

However, the project ran short of money, and several significant improvements had to be cut. It still retains the armor and complement of the original Wasp class, and features improved engines, an additional shield generator, and improved reactor output. Also, it has six shield areas instead of its predecessors four.

Sheesh, trying to figure out a way to get ST tech within Rp storyline realisim is getting problematic, since just buying, then reverse engineering would be frowned on. Trying to get plans to work with instead of just ships, would be more honorable this time around.

No prob on the discounts, probably would need to do a multi-year payment plan anyway to get what I need, whole sale acquisitions of many plans to form the groundwork of the new fleet with. Probably would also nab some klingon designs, and apply ST tech, then advanced Sphere-Celestial tech to it all, to form the Confederacy fleet foundation.

Trying to form the Confederacy almost akin to the ST Federation of Planets, over three Superclusters is gonna be fun, and give lots of story oppritunities. =^^= NS money aint the prob here, agan quoting the discount bit.

This a formal request for a long term package deal to accomplish our internal goals for an internal defense Confederation starfleet. We've pulled together designs from both Federation and Kilingon types that can mesh well once we conduct design and operational reviews with actual models in presence.

We are having a hard time trying to come up with a sale for the Time Ship due to it's risky involvement with time travel. We're unsure as of what would be an appropriate pricing would be for such a questionable ship which we are even considering wiping off of our records. We're willing to trade your request for the Time Ship for a 10,000,000,000,000 Shopping Spree instead.


Don't worry, trying to do any of that GrandFather time stuff would be REALLY dumb on our part. We're Kerenskys, not McFlys. The idea would be to learn how to recognize to defend against such a disgraceful act. (Plot hint.....) It'd also help understand other sciences better anyway, Rp wise, so we're willing to trade off the entire shopping spree rights for just a single vessel copy.

If it's still too iffy to do it, I'll take an rp instead where you trade me access rights to one of the info sites like Bravo Fleet or such you put up, so I get formal acess to the data I need. (Which is my end run result I'm after in another Tech trade that ain't going squat.)

I'll leave the decision up to you. I'm not hard fast on the Time Ship or such, just a plot device mainly. The refitting of one of the Bird of Preys in ST/Fed-Gaian Tech has a more prevelant Rp plot coming up with Ahb Empire anyway than any time plot anyway. (Would be one of those revenge things at the end of the Dark Ascendancy war, but who wouldn't see that coming anyway..) If you don't want to sell the ship, make sure to delete the option after so no one has access. Rather safer that way, Rp or otherwise.

In anycase, I'll trade off the shopping spree for either ST Rped tech rights or a Time Ship. (The more I write this, I'm leaning for the tech rights actually. =^^= )

We'd prefer to sell you the tech rights. Just specify the tech you wish to purchase (IE: Quantum Torpedos, Ablative Armor, Cloaking Devise, ect ect) and we'll come up with an adequate pricing for them. (OOC: This will save me time for calculating them later for my edits to the new store front...)

To make it simple, we'll drop the Time Vessel purchaes, and trade off the shopping spree, as well as add ten Trillion Credits for the right to one full and complete copy of the ST database(s) that was the basis for all the ST pricing and displays offered in this storefront. This is all in addition to the construction contract we already have agreed to.

We also formally ask the Time Ship be stricken from the price list from this moment forth. Time to end the farce of the idea anyway. If already done so, all the better we give thanks.
