Since the Invasion of Very Small Island the remains of the army and other militant groups have been preparing for attacks against the occupying forces. These groups now feel they are strong and well organized enough to revolt against the invaders.

Location: slums on the outskirts of Island city

Miles Nove had just finished giving an inspiring speech to around 400 masked men mostly equipped with small arms and old army weapons. As soon as he stepped down from the stage where he had given the speech the men who had gathered began to march to the center of the capital, they were one of around 20 armed groups in the city that would march on the city center tonight. As many as a hundred thousand civilians would also begin marching on the city center at the same time. Their objective was to free their capital, as many as 8000 men had come down from the eastern mountains and had begun to march on the city of Castle and the surrounding towns. The men were all members of the VSI liberation front, Miles Nove had started this group after the war and he hopped that they would be able to free their country from the invaders. Smaller groups were also launching attacks across the south of the country and a few groups had infiltrated the city of Row where a few thousand citizens who wanted Row to be part of VSI again were staging also protest.

The Ahmerian clony just outside Row shall rais eit's alertness, also a large marine force has been asembled outside the air-base situated in the colony.

Message to other occuping nations:
"If any supplies need be transported to VSI, contact Gen. Sfft. Sgt. L. A. Armstrong at the AARC base (north of Row)

OOC: Let me be the first to say to all occuping nations that the resistance in VSI must be quelled as soon aws possible.
As first to comment, I plan to lead a front to quell the uprising.

Shorak ground and air forces begin their journey towards VSI to help quell the impending rebellion. Base positions begin forming on the coasts, preparing for marines to start their defensive run to the capital. The Shorak Emperor, Slavik, has yet to comment among the force's progress and reasoning.

After the Eastern mountains were givin back to the VSI,a base was set up with elements of the 67th armoured(12 T-72 modernas,14 T-80s,19 T-90s 800 infantry) and the 10th mountain(5523 men,6 bmp-3s,4 hind-24s),the base is on full alert and all passes have been made void until further notice.....however we cannot mobilize on Row because it is in anothers teritory(OOC:Allmande i think) that would be considered an act of war.But hinds have been launched and are patroling areas arounded the base.

Of the men who had come down from the mountain many were on horses and had traveled for hours to reach the outskirts of Castle, the men had traveled in small groups and were now regrouping to launch attacks. Many of castle’s population had also taken to the streets to demand independence for all of VSI.

Location: Island City

The major protests had reached enemy roadblocks throughout the city, many more people had joined the marches and the militants were moving though out the city engaging enemy troops, more people had also taken up arms and were joining the rebellion.
Miles Nove was broadcasting on a pirate radio station, he was urging the people of Very Small Island to take up arms and retake the country. He had also called for terror attacks to stop saying that the war would be won here on Very Small Island. He said that the country would be come a free democracy that would be free of all enemy troops.

In many small towns in the south People had risen up and the streets were filled with protestors .Ex soldiers had joined the uprising and were helping the co-ordinate the people.


More and more people were joining the rebels all over the Island; the rebellion was in swing.

Location: Eastern VSI

little did the pilot know thses were no farmers,they started to hear the engine of the hind and were thinking what to do next.

The small group of horsemen stopped riding as they knew they couldn’t outrun the hind, They saw that the helicopter belonged to the Morvonian military, they knew that Morvonia were not the real enemy they had not killed hundreds of thousands of Islanders. After all they were the only country that had returned their part of VSI to its people. They decided that they would know of the uprising and they were going to inform the Morvonian's they were on their way to Castle to try and free their nation, they hoped that the Morvonian's would help them free their Island, or at least that they would not help the occupying forces.

The pilot noticed that they were giving a signal for him to land....he knew that would brake protocol but he did it anyway,dust was kicked up but the landing was very smooth.capt.norso got out with a hand on his p228.



the men walked up and told their story of seeking freedom.They looked thusty and a bit hungry so he gave them some food and water from the helicopter,the captain talked and did not know he was answering their questions.


"I am sorry i cant give you more or take you to castle,we cant get involved unless we are attacked...so i cant take over castle airspace,sorry...hope you enjoy the food" he turned around got into the cockpit with his co-pilot,gave a wave and lifted off.


the civilians were relived to know that Morvonian forces would not act unless attacked....and pryed no one would do that.

"My people...Earlier today, I recieved a message from what was the leader of the VSI rebellion. This message was a frail attempt to keep us from the conflict...to keep us from defending our intrests...to keep us from that which would bring the Empire to a new level! A pitiful threat it said, that the rebels would strike at not only our men and women abroad, but to our homeland! A cowardly strike at civilians! Our children even, they threaten...
But...I assure you, every one of you, that we will not be swayed but such evil like this. We will not bow down before such insolence! The opposition will be crushed, the maggots shall face the death they want to bring before us! We! Will! Be! Victorious!" To this crowds rose and cheered. "For the Empire!" Again the audience roared in approval, and chanted the last words back.

The next day, Shorak battleships and patrol cruisers came along the VSI coasts. Troops moved along into the borders of the capital and began taking up outposts within the cities. Helicopters are often seen in the VSI skies, and small artillery units are taking places in the higher lands.

Task Force Delta

A small fleet of Parthian warships now moved towards VSI, transports filled to the brim with Parthian soldiers and carrying aircraft or other weapons for use when they landed. General Shapur Khayyam prepared himself for the days ahead, just as they had crushed VSI long ago for terrorism.

He licked his lips before sipping his tea, smirking a bit.

The revolution had spread over most of the Island in a few days. In Castle and Island City the rebels had begun fighting the Spartanox, Hatarian and Colerican forces that had occupied The cities. In the Capital the more people had joined the armed uprising and there were now around 15,000-armed men in the city along with around 200,000 protestors and rioters who had marched on the Presidential Palace and now encircled the building. Any Hatarian soldiers who were still in the city had been attacked by the rebels.
In Row smaller protests were spreading throughout the city and some small-armed groups had begun to attack the Aust military forces in the city.
Most of the towns in the northeast and south were now under control of the rebels, and Miles Nove had broadcast more messages calling for everyone to rise up.

OOC: Thank you, I'm here to finish the job I hadn't been able to complete last time.

As the Parthian carriers turned with the wind, allowing it to blow upon their decks so the planes could take off, swarms of F-78 fighters rocketed off, loaded with AAMs. Each plane flew without radar, instead, two AWACS aircraft flew high, determining radar signatures. If hostile aircraft were spotted, then 3 squadrons of F-78s would respond, smashing anything thrown at them.

Behind them, 3 more squadrons of F/A-91 fighter bombers, loaded to the brim with clusterbombs and napalm moved towards the rebel forces location provided by satellite scans. Their orders were simple, blow up any forces there, with any means necessary.

OOC: Forgive me. I've done RPing quite a bit before, but am still trying to get used to this...variety of it. Though I'm sure I had a post regarding my movements before...Anyways, again I apologize.
On another note though, I doubt I will be able to play my part of this conflict any longer; huge family matters came up.

The Lancer, having been dispatched 2 days ago, arrived in position, off shore of VSI by 450 Miles. The Bridge Crew watched the action on the island through a feed coming from a UAV circling the city. The operator zoomed in, and manipulated a few controls. The camera became much steadier, affording a better view. The operator flipped a switch, and the UAV commenced recording the ongoing battle below...

the medic got up to get to the sargent but was hit in the shin and fell...the corpral behind him brought him back to cover.


by now all the weapons in the small platoon were firing on a small hill west of their position.

the sargent could not fire properly with his arm,so he put down his weapon and tried to bandage himself up.

"Radio!"


the corpral came running up 12 seconds later...."where is Kornos" the sargent asked looking at he corpral holding Kornos' radio.


"they got him sarge!" the corpral also brought the medical pack stained in the medics blood "skrew helping me corpral i can do it just contiune firing!"


the sargent picked up the radio and a pair of twisers to pull the bullet out.

everything was histeria...people were running everywhere to find out what the hell just happened.The blame was on the VSI freedom front...but there were faction in this "organization".


alot of the VSI public loved Morvonia...because it returned its land back to VSI..and offered to protect it.but some saw that the base was still a act of war and a way of occupation without having to say it was an occupation.


all check points had at least a T-72 with it,and with the 11th para-assult(7550 men w/1550 on stand-by) unit finally arrived it started to take the places of tired members of the 10th mountain.

Task Force Delta: Near Island City

Admiral Shapur Khayyam looked out at the scene, Islander partisians were moving into the city, sizable fires looked like they were springing up. Until the Hatarian allies of the Shahdom went active, it was time for Parthia to help them out.

Twenty four AH-64 attack helicopters moved off the deck of the amphibious assault vessels, before moving in towards Island city. While the attack helicopters searched for their enemies, squads of heavily armed men moved into their blackhawks, preparing to fly. The helicopters were ordered to drop men off on buildings overlooking streets, where they would use the high ground to rain fire on the Islanders.

Meanwhile, fifty hovercrafts moved towards shore, packed with M-29 MBTs and men prepared to fight the Islanders until the rebels were all dead.

The Hunter pulled alongside the SkyCapt ship.

"Attention SkyCapt vessel, permission to board"
"Permission Granted. Welcome aboard." Lines were extended out to help.

How many men are in the city? A bombing run could be effective, but too many friendlies could die...

was the imediate order after they reached the village,after a 3 mile hike from there helicopter landing zone.

private Welnos walked into a hut and saw a kid in a corner...just as he was about to ask the child to not be afraid...the kid turned and fired a pistol at him at his leg.


Everyone turned "God Damn!!!! he got me"

the private moved out of the way and with that all the men fired at the hut for about 8 seconds...and all that came out was a pool of blood.


"tell the LT.COL. we have a situation here,1 man wounded and alot of weapons"

he turned and saw a huge amount of weapons pilling up from what the other men had found

In the east it is true the enemy are there...but there are many friendly villages too....althought i would like nothing but to destroy it all,but we have made an obligation to protect these civilians...so instead of air strike..i can give your army clearence to enter and investigate these villages.

I have my hands full with the literal hunderes upon hundrers of villages i cannot secure them all...perhaps your millitary can help ours....and vice-versa...i do not have clearence to use or let anyone else use airstikes inside villages,so maybe patrols will be better...and if you spot anything outside villages...well that is fair game by the order given to me.

This is all i can do for you until futher notice.

Miles Nove continued to broadcast radio messages to the rebels. He asked that the more extreme elements of the group who were in the east and north to stop attacks on Morvonia . He also urged all the protestors to stay on the streets to hopefully stop any more air attacks on the already devastated cities. He went on to say that if VSI became a free country once again he and the main elements of the Liberation front would end all terror attacks sponsored by the former government and would help to arrest terrorist and members of the old government. He also thanked the nation of Rotovia for their offer of support. If the situation got worse they might have to call on foreign aid.


In Island City and Castle the protestors remained on the streets and the men of the Liberation front remained in place waiting to see what would happen next.

Another more extreme group that was supported by foreign fighters who had managed to enter the country continued their attacks on the Morvonia and prepared for more attacks they were arranging to bring in supplies and more men from abroad to help with their attacks. They were commanded by members and of the old government who were desperately trying to get back into power, there numbers had grown to several thousand men with more arriving every day.

In the AAustian coloney of Row, Govonor Titus, the Austian govanor of the provence watched as the people protested below, they where a minority, a small minortity as most of the men of Row saw how much better off they where under Austian rule.

In the last few years the city had doubled in size and power, becomeing a leading coloney of Aust. Many Rowers where part of the Austian army and there was a full ASS legion made entirly of the men of Row. It looked like this protest was going no where.

"Fire." He commanded and the ASS stationed around the protest did as they where commanded, shells and bullets raining down on the protesters. Within minuates they where all dead or wounded, he watched as there famillys came and took them away.

He had of course heard that in other parts of the island a rebellion was being launched but he could ignore that, half rows populance where native Austian and the other half where happy with Austian rule, high walls and powerful defences protected the outer city and the Austian airforce contolled the skys.

Row would remain Austian.

More radio broadcasts were made by the Liberation Front, the broadcast said they were disgusted at Austian attacks on civilians. Another broadcast was directed at The Parthians telling them that the attacks against Pathia were not carried out by members of the Liberation front or in the name od Very Small Island, they were carried out by others terror groups and were likely to have been organized abroad. Other Radio frequencies were also being used to broadcast messaged to the Liberation Front, they told the men not to attack enemy troops unless they were fired upon first. A final message asked for other nation such as Rotovia who had earlier offered support to come to our if more attacks were launched against the people of Very Small Island.

The commander opened up a channel to all forces currently combating the VSI Rebels, and asked if any assistance was needed. He had kept the radio open all day, and had been listening to the chatter going back and forth...

He thought it over for a while, then gave out orders. "Have the crafts continue on to the east side. We're going to back up the rebels. To make sure they'll go through with their 'agreement', have more men come in, and order them to stay on the island until the VSI has revuilt itself and established something other than a dictatorship." The idling troop carriers continued on, and fighters launched from the deck, carrying AtA and AtG weapons, with the intention of crushing the enemy's airforce...

Three blackhawk helicopters, equipped with active radar cancellation devices, flew on the nap of the earth to avoid detection. Following them, a pair of AH-64s, equipped with similar protection systems, followed. The blackhawks were full of men, men prepared to take this war back to the Islanders. Only five miles in the border, the helicopters came to a halt, and dropped down. The men rumbled out, 36 in total, and then the helicopters took back off, preparing to return home.

Lieutenant Ardeshir Tehrani formed his three squads in his platoon together, they were the best of the best, Immortals Black Ops troops, armed with the finest weaponry Parthia owned, and with their menacing full body armor, they were prepared for the task at hand. OOC:uhhh...man you must not have understand what i said.....we are peacekeepers in this story...and most of VSI like us...because we gave back VSI east and set up a base to help protect it.....our operations are not of war but of stopping a rogue-ish group in the VSI liberation front that attacks us even though we did not massacer his citizens like other nations and still diliver food to the eastern villages.....when we asked for military support it was to help search villages and root out the rogue VSI agents or communties...in order to make sure that east remains less hazerdous then the other areas.So far all the ammunition fired from us was to those who first fired at us. we are not here for war...and VSI can back me up on that!

The landing craft touched land, and the ramps opened, and 60 men poured from each one, headed for a village that had recently called for help. F-42's roared overhead, with orders to engage any opposing aircraft, including fighters, UAV's, bombers, and helicopters. Aryx's followed closely, breaking off to bomb the west side of the island, unless friendlies were spotted. The soldiers continued on, then halted just outside of the village. "Move in on my mark...," He fired 15 rounds, then ordered his men to charge. Each one gave a bloodcurdling yell, moved into the town, to be met by helicopters. "Oh, shick." He ordered for a SHED to be brought up, then took the weapon, and fired...

Talon Wing, newly equipped with the second batch of LMF-1X's, flew through the air, then spotted hinds below. "Moving to engage," Talon Leader called out, then repeated the call to the Delphin and her commander. He brought his plane in a dive. Faster, then faster, there. He loosed two LSX-2 AtA missiles, then broke off. A deafening explosion followed. He called out over the radio: "Hit successful, move on." The soldiers on the ground would take care of any choppers left.

i have been doing humanitarian and defence aid to VSI...yes pay for those choppers

$20,000,000 is sent. And the fighters have orders to no engage anyone. The soldiers will help with your peacekeeping, but they will continue on with their original orders.

Lieutenant Ardeshir Tehrani threw himself down into the vegetation, as did his other men. Captian Tehrani knew they needed support, and fast. Quietly picking up his radio, he spoke, "This is Alpha Team, requesting air support." Three F-78s, flying on the other side of the border, now responded. Equipped with active radar cancellation devices so they could fly without alerting radar, moved towards the border, and then unleashed six medium range air to air missiles at the helicopters. Now, flying up high and back to avoid an air search, the missiles were left streaking towards the Hinds.

Meanwhile, the remaining members of the platoon moved forward, while on the hills, the first shots rang out. Snipers fired rounds from their silenced rifles, aiming to kill any soldiers. Two 81mm mortars rang out as they fired round after round, which burst over the village, spewing toxic VX gas as it landed.

Parthian battle armor, a collection of ceramic plates designed to protect from most bullets and shrapnel, was CBW sealed, making it perfect for use in toxic environments. Now, the Parthians moved in, hoping the gas worked. Advance teams of gunners took positions in a house on the outskirts of town, butchering the people inside since the VX had spared them before training their weapons through windows towards the main street.

One squad now moved up, ordered to then swing around to hit the village on the flank while the main command squad proceeded directly in, firing their M-31 assault rifles and rifle grenades as they advanced.

Gamma and Raxyl Squadrons plunged into the underbrush. F-78's roared overhead, and the Shadow troopers dropped to the ground. They belly-crawled forwards, hoping to run into any sign of the enemy. They had seen no action since Daniel roelkey, and they were getting rusty. THis was exactly what they needed...

As the soldiers now moved forward through the underbrush, they turned on their thermal imaging scopes on their HUD. Orange blobs in the undergrowth ahead appeared. Crouching down to improve accuracy, short three round bursts went off one by one, followed by rifle grenades. The squad automatic weapon opened up, showering the area with ammunition while the soldiers continued to move in. Snipers now turned to the bursts of rifle fire, activated their thermal scopes on their weapons, and fired shot after shot at the incoming solidiers.

Capt. Gathers suddenly was met by a rain of fire and shrapnel. He cursed loudly, then tossed all of his stun grenades where the flashes were comign from. A men next to him suddenly jerked, and rolled over. "Dead," he thought. He sent a frag grenade after the stunners did their thing. A fusillade of fire and bullets followed it. Men over on the other side screamed, and one flew into the air. Men all around him were dying, and he got his radio operator next to him. "TELL THE DELPHIN WE NEED A PRECISION AIRSTRIKE OVER HERE!" He yelled, and the radioman began giving out coordinates, while recieving a barrage of questions from the commander.

LMX-10's flew in formation, having been re-vectored to the distress call area. Suddenly each plane's RWSB opened up, and Napalm Canisters could be seen. The aircraft gained 100 feet, then released their payloads. Napalm suddenly burst out over the enemies last known position...

Within a few seconds, the napalm and enemy fire had killed half of the Alpha Squad. The remaining six people and Lieutenant Tehrani, now moved back while the lieutenant called for more air support. Two squad members tossed a pair of grenades, which on impact with the ground burst into a cloud of toxic VX gas.

Platoon mortars now opened fire as well, showering the enemy positions with high explosive and airbust shells. Snipers now fired away, trying to pick off troops they could spot. Meanwhile, across the border, only five miles away, the F-78s launched another volley of 16 medium range AAMs, guided to their targets by radar.

A pair of AH-64s, Parthian aircraft without marking on them to avoid people knowing their true identity, now moved in, firing rockets full of Hydrogen Cyanide gas and bursts of their chainguns.

Men began coughing violently, and collapsing. "PULL BACK! PULL BACK!" "We can't sir, we're pinned down!" He thought silenty, after ordering everyone to put on their gas masks. He could hear the deep, ponderous breathign of others, and it helped him relax. He finally decided on a decision. "Everything you've got, toss it at 'em!" He called for a SHED, and loaded a High Explosive shell, and fired it, amidst the firing of his men, and the explosions going off everywhere. 5 smoke grenades were tossed, creating a large and mist-like smoke-screen. The surviving Shadow Troopers melted into the shadows of the evening skies, bringing the wounded and gas victims. A final parting SHED rocket was fired, loaded with an AP round...

High explosive rounds detonated behind the remainder of the withdrawing squad. Captian Tehrani moved towards the high ground, hopefully there, he could call for his men to evacuate via blackhawk. This operation was supposed to have been a success, but unfortunatley, the villages had heavy weapons.

The AH-64s now saw their chance, putting on thermal vision so they could see through the smoke, the pilots unleashed rockets at the red blobs on their screen. Chainguns opened up, firing away.

Three blackhawks now moved in, with the men retreating to their withdrawl points. Again, the helicopters were unmarked so they could not be identified. Now, as the helicopters landed, the men clambered aboard and prepared to leave.

"Shoot," Gathers said, "They must have imaging on those things." A couple of people who were assigned to the SHED's turned and fired, each one getting an APHE round off before 2 of them got sawn in half by chaingun rounds. LMX-10's, having been patrolling the area from 15,000ft, turned and dived, each one arming it's payload of AtA missiles. The targeting screens picked up the heat and EC signatures of the AH-64's, then each one suddenly let loose defensive counter-measures. "No matter," a pilot thought to himself, "We're through the cloud cover, I have a visual on them." He aimed his sights, then hit the triggers, and 2 LXS-2 Anti-aircraft missile were released, followed by a burst of bullets. The chopper dodged the bullets, but the missiles were locked on... "Direct Hit, " He said over the radio. The Blue Streak had never failed him, and apparently wasn't going to fail him anytime soon...

As the AH-64s spiraled down, the Parthians struck back on the SkyCapt forces. The F-78s, unmarked like the rest of the forces, crossed the border to engage the SkyCapt planes while the blackhawks moved the troops back across the border. A pair of Sidewinder II short range AAMs was fired from each of the planes at the fighters before the F-78s pulled directly up and then dove back down, preparing to engage with the cannons.

Another flight of five more F-78s now moved in, unleashing 10 medium range AAMs before closing in to fire ten more Sidewinder IIs.

6 Desert Fox Gunships moved in, their linked missile pods creating a crater that grew with every hit. LMX-10's overhead engaged the unmarked F-78's, now that they knew they were hostile. 3 RSAF jets had gone down in the initial run, leaving 17 fighters left to engage. The flight leader called for back-up from the Delphin, and 15 minutes later a wing of F-42's pulled in, loosing their payloads. The sun was temporarily blocked out as burning plane carcasses littered the ground, their smoke mixing with remnants of gas. A green smoke screen was finally dying out, and the Shadow Troopers were nowhere to be seen. 2 Knighthawks in pitch black paint could be seen taking off, with occasional bursts of gunfire coming from the occupants inside. The men inside were exhausted, but they all were smiling, even the gas victims and wounded. They all removed their gas masks once over the shoreline, headed for VSI rebel headquarters - or whatever remained of it...

The blackhawks containing the remaining members of the attack team now returned to their base on the other side of the border. They were angered at the loss of six men in the botched attack. They were going to need to try something new, something that wouldn't cause the death of their own men. The F-78s now moved away from the battle, reactivating their active radar cancellation devices and dropping electrical disturbance pods to destroy missile tracking systems.

A lone LMX-10 flew over the recent battleground, surveying the damage done to the scenery. Dozens of craters lined the ground, and smoke, gas, and fire still lingered is some areas. The pilot sighed, then turned back to catch up with the rest of his wing...

The Commander of the Delphin was patched through to the Morvonian Commander. "Well, um, on of our scouting parties was attacked by some Parthainian (SP?) squads. The situation became more severe as the battle occured, and gunships and fighters were brought in. The enemy finally sent out gas grenades and warheads, so we had to retreat. Apparently so did they." He heard a response, but it was filled with much static. The operator adjusted the dials, the he asked to repeat what he had said...

OOC: SkyCapt, I was using unmarked aircraft and special operation squads which were NOT tied to Parthia. Mostly for plausible deniability. ICly, you only know it was well armed men using technology that is pretty widespread. If there is a particular reason you think otherwise, please state.

The soliders of the VSI liberation front were still in place in all major cities and had taken most of the smaller ones. Apart from Row and the surrounding areas alot of the country side was also in rebel hands. They had grown in number to around 65,000 spread over the country. Some of the more hardline groups were still in the mountains, many of the men who had organized and carried out terror attacks were also in the area. However the liberation front had sent men to meet Morvonian forces so as they could co-ordinate operations against these groups and end terror attacks once and for all. The Liberation front had also sent orders to Willink for new weapons. The liberation Front leaders had sent radio broadcasts to the forces of skycapt and Morvonia, they hoped to arrange for forces of these two nation to enter thecities of Island city and Castle to help secure these cities and keep order until a new government could be elected and we can administer our country on our own once again.

To assist VSI liberation front against Austian air threats, willink will be supplying the following, along with training-

25 SA-15 Tor SAM systems, short range Air defence, range of 15km

15 SS-X-20 long range SAM systems, with a range of 300km, in a emplaced station with 25 missiles, which can be fired simutaniously(cant spell).

10 of the brand new russian SA-X-21 Mysk SAM systems, with a mix of short and long range missiles, covering and overall range of 400km.

I will also be supplying 80 type 69 tanks to the VSI liberation front, and 2,000 Willink marines will be stationed in Castle, along with 15 MiG-35/37 fighters, 10 Buk missile systems, 89 155mm towed artillery guns, 65 Type 90 tanks (http://www.sinodefence.com/army/tank/type90_2.jpg) 52 BMP-4's for transport, and 10 AHX attack helicopters, and 24 Jeeps with TOW missiles and 50 caliber machine guns.

Secret IC: Operation Just Starvation

The time had come for new tactics in the war on VSI. Too many of them were resisting their new colonial masters, again. Now, with much of the island in rebel hands, it was time for a new operation against the Islanders. Stealthy F/A-91s moved low over the island portion held by the rebels, heading towards farmlands owned by the Islanders in rebel controlled areas. Unleashing their bombloads of Agent Orange, they were designed to kill off fields full of crops. Once the crops were gone, food prices would rise, thousands would starve to death. That was the perfect weapon against the native islanders, and soon, perhaps, the Parthians would depopulate the whole island of the troublesome and rebellious people.

Phase II began in earnest, with groups of blackhawk helicopters moving in on several coastal and inland villages held by rebels. In one, the helicopters landed outside the village, dropping off the men before getting back into the air so they could strafe the islanders. Parthian soldiers descended on the civillians, butchering them as they found them. Women were gunned down as they ran, children were hacked to bits by Parthian shamshirs. Those who surrendered were loaded into a waiting Pave low so they could be turned into slaves. Soon enough, similar scenes broke out as more helicopter soldiers moved in on their targets.

Willink force are beginning to train Villagers in the Castle and Island city areas in the use of SA-18 Shoulder launched SAM's, and a defense layout for villages that is like this- Major villages will recive a single SA-3 SAM to attack aircraft and helicopters, an extensive tunnel system to connect villages for movement, and villager use of AT-9 Shoulder launched anti-tank missiles. Larger villages will also be surrounded by minefeilds. Villagers will recieve grenades, AK-105 assault rifles, PKM machine guns, and M79 grenade launchers. Weapons training will be by Willink marines. Willink marines will also be using 9M123F-2 missiles launched from a shoulder mounted tube, with a HE warhead, which can take out fortified emplacements, tanks, and other heavily armored vehicles. It can also be used effectivly against transport helicopters. 10 SS-26 Surface to surface missile launchers are being supplied to the VIS, with a conventional cluster warhead, with a fuel-air exploseive and a range of 300km(fuel air explosive- Two stage warhead, dispenses a cloud of gasoline or other fuel, followed by the detination of the warhead, which implodes the fuel and incinerates anything below it) Warhead has electronic countermeasures.

Colonel Sabastian Colnos-seeing the danger set up a huge camp beside the morvonia base.....the camp had towers and sams and anti-air cannon every were and people poured in and when more room was needed 100 more tents went up food was plentiful and the Morvonians were guarding every meter...this also gave rise to a new unit....


the a group from the 53rd special operations and recon unit trained the first special forces unit for the VSI. the Colonel sent a message to the VSI asking what the unit was to be called,the number of men in the unit is 1530 and all were armed with Bizon SMG silenced,ak-101s,pk machine guns and rpg-7s.


also the 122nd marines,2nd battalion(850 men,7 Bmp-3s) would arrive in one and a half days (NS)...to help protect the huge camp.

4 Platoons of marines took postions on a hill outside of Castle city and set down their 155mm howitzers, and began firing on possible enemy positions outside the city. Smoke erupted from the woods, and a shell landed nearby on another hill. 2 enemy tanks of unknown type rushed through the wood, guns blazing. The howitzer's were re-aimed, instantly tanking one tank out. 2 VIS T69's tanks came to the marines assistance and destroyed the other tank, and the marines began to relax.

Willink has just placed FPS-XX ground-based phased- array radar in castle city. It is capable of detecting fast and small platforms, including ballistic, cruise and air-to-ground missiles, together with stealth aircraft, at a range three times greater than the FPS-3.(FPS 3 was old radar i had here)

The time for Operation: Deap Streak had come. LMF's, LMX's, and F-42's filled the skies, loaded with paylaods of precision targeting bombs. Their objectives: Key Parthian and other opposing nation's airfields, military bases, and outposts. A few key convoy trails would also be made unusable. 4 Wings would participate, all from the Delphin. Desert Fox gunships and Knighthawk A's would also be part of the operation, providing support for ground forces who would be striking at key points in the frontline...

Alpha Wing dove towards the ground from 10,000ft, all aiming their sights on an enemy airfield. "Launch on my mark.... FIRE!!" A salvo of bombs, AtG rockets and missiles, and bullets fell into the ground. Parts of the field exploded, and munitions stores blew up. AA guns opened up, and 2 planes fell at once. "I'm hit! I'm hit! Going down.... *static* Alpha *garbled words*... AHHH!" A pilot blew out of his plane 5,000 feet before hitting the ground. Soldiers surrounded him. The planes continued strafing, all the while taking fire from bullets and rockets... "Alpha Wing, pull out. We have more targets to take care of."

Can someone explain who is killing who ? Its very confusing.

OOC: I'm targetting VSI insurgents, civilians in rebel controlled areas, and anyone supporting them.

And I'm supporting the Rebels, and attacking anyone who is opposing. I have a feeling the VSI have the potential to make a good country.

IC: The commanders of the VSI liberation front had met in the slums around Island city.

"What’s the situation now", asked Miles Nove, as he arrived.

"We've got reports of unmarked bombers hitting farms and we also have reports of attacks on villages through out the east. Enemy air fields have been hit by Skycapt bombers.” replied a member of the liberation Front who was looking over radio reports that had come in over the past few hours.

After a brief discussion the commanders decided what orders to give next.

Miles Nove was handed a microphone by the radio operator.

Mile made the first broadcast to people of VSI
"All citizens in the east are to try and make there way to either Castle City where Willink forces have arrived or to the camp set up by Morvonia in the east. Citizens in other areas were to try and make it to villages that were heavily defended by the Liberation front and wait for support to arrive."

The radio operator changed channels and encrypted the next message as well as he could with the equipment he had gathered. This time Miles would broadcast to the Liberation Front.

"As enemy bombers have destroyed a lot of farm land 1000 men in Island City were to be organized into strike teams and they would attempt to take control of the food storage houses and other buildings in the city that were still held by enemy troops. IC- Willink forces prepared for their first attack of the war.

10 of his MiG-35/37 began to load weapons. they would take 2 AA-11 Archer short range air-to-air missiles, 2 AA-12 Adder long range(90km) air-to-air missiles, and 2 AS-20 Kayak Air to surface tv guided missiles.

They took of from the Castle airport, and flew toward a small forward post of the Parthians to retaliate the destruction caused to villages in the outlying area. They flew in and fired their stand off AS-20 from its maximum range, 130km away from the target. They were aimed at Fortified positions, tanks, and command tents.

Willink also moved in 4,000 more marines, bringing the total to 6000. Also sent are more SAM postions, 40 more Type 90 tanks, 10 Lavi fighters and 15 More MiG-35/37, along with 8 TU-22 medium bombers.

A few hours had passe since the Liberation fronts offensive in Island City had begun. After initial success the rebel forces had become bogged down and had received several hundred causalities although the enemy had also lost many men. The south of the city was almost totally in rebel hands except an area around the imperial palace where the rebels had launched a counter attack which had pushed the liberation front back a few blocks. There was fierce fighting over a lot of the north as the rebels tried to capture key locations. A few members of the former government had also been captured by the liberation front along with many the front suspected had been involved in terror attacks abroad. These men would be handed over to be tried for crimes they had committed as soon as possible.
The Liberation front was now waiting for the first Special Forces regiment to arrive so they could help with the offensive.
The liberation front commanders had also sent more messages to the Morvonian's asking that more special forces be released to help combat extremist who could still be operating though out the east, the message also asked air support for these operations. Spizanian were also thanked for there assistance.

we are also currently training citizens for combat more units are on the way...it is a great sight indeed all who come to the camp want to be trained they are some of the toughest men i have seen...the next unit will be more conventional light infantry unit.

Post Alpha

The small base operated for helicopter strike teams now felt the brunt of the attack as the Willink missiles closed in. Captian Shirazi knew what had to be done, barking in orders, he ordered the three MIM-220 Apostle SAM batteries to activate, and responded to the attack with an equal barrage of missiles. Guided by millimetric wave radar and equipped with fuel air warheads, most of the Willink missiles were blown apart as they neared the post, literally evaporated in the heat produced by the fuel air explosive. Eight of the missiles, however, slammed into the camp, destroying much of it. Now, all that could be done was evacuate the remaining 59 soldiers and their helicopters to the carrier fleet.

Fifteen F-78s flying patrol near Island City, off of which the Parthian battle group sat, now moved towards the Willink fighter aircraft. As they neared the airplanes, they unleashed a barrage of 15 HAMRAAM medium range AAMs. Flying off and accelerating to mach 5, the missiles were to zero in on the fighters with their own radar systems, using their 3-D thrust vectoring systems for maneuverability. As they neared closer, another barrage of 15 missiles flew off, but soon, they would be in range for short range missiles and cannon.

Island City

Parthian forces were now battling with insurgents, their positions high in buildings under constant attack. With the fleet sitting offshore, it came time for a difficult decision. The population was up in arms, and soon, perhaps, the whole city would turn on the Parthians. The order was given, total mobilization of all avalible units to cull the city. Just as Rome sacked Jerusalem for disobedience, now Persian armies would sack Island City for disobeying the Shah's orders. Parthian soldiers had their positions indicated by the tactical map on the bridge of the command vessel, the Shahanshah Khosru, and now, it was time for a strategic assault.

Hovercrafts packed with men reached the shore, and as they exited, they began to indiscriminatley open fire at any Islanders they could see. The 6.7 caseless ammunition of the M-31s tore into the fleeing island civilians. AH-64s overhead attacked ghettoes with rockets, hoping to kill or entrap civilians under the rubble their explosions created. F/A-91 fighter bombers blasted whole sections of the city, dropping bomb after bomb as the Islanders fled. 155 F-78s kept patrol in the skies, maintaining air superiority. Meanwhile, to prevent civilians from fleeing, A-12s flew along the roadways, strafing refugees with 30mm shells and napalm. Those who surrendered were chained together for transport back to Parthia as slaves. Other Parthian soldiers looted the city, stealing valuables and hacking apart with shamshirs their owners who refused to give it to them.

The SkyCapt ground forces finally started their part in Operation Deep Streak. Knighthawk's flew through the air, while Spec Ops and Shadow troopers who had been waiting in the jungles moved on. Their objective was sector 076 - An area known to the Parthians as Post Alpha. They moved around, silent, and unnoticed, their eyes searching for a possible entry point. Scouts went ahead, with tremendous patience, moving a foot at a time. The crawled, scooted, and ran, but mostly they crouched down, taking 2 steps at a time, watching for any search lights, trying to avoid any unseen Parthian Sentries. They finally moved against the fence (assuming you have one), and looked for entry points. Finding none, they began sabotaging the wires, all but one placing an exlosive device on a part of the fence. Finished, they melted into the night's shadows, returning to their respective temporary unit. 10 explosions went off, and the men began their stealthy advance...

10 TU-95 stratigic bomber loaded with over 15000kg worth of explosives in each planes they were over Island City with an escort of 10 SU-34 with heat-seeking missiles to combat the radar blockers of the parthian planes...the desition was made to bomb the area where the parthians were mostly in.

and with with that thousands of bombs were heading for the parthian contorled area in the city.

Desert Foxes patroling the area saw the Parthian Troops attacking civilians. Civilians! They moved in, rocket pods firing away, MG pods tearing at the hovercrafts moving away. The 4 Gunships with their missile pods created a scorching hot zone, making a huge crater, which grew contiously. "Haha, I got one!" "There goes another!" "I think I killed an entire squad!" Technical talk began flying around the com channel as the pilots began linking their pods and switching between gun calibers on their MGP's. The pilots began looking around, watching for enemy patrols. "Sir, they've got hand-held Anti-tank devices!" "OK, one last barrage and we're outta here." "Rog- *explosion, then interference*" "Condor 2 is down! We'd better leave!" "Yeah, Condor Flight, move out." The gunships fell back, firing parting rockets, then finally turned arounn completely.

the pilots in their TU-95s could see the damage their bombs were doing to the structures and were wondering what it looked like from the ground....

Post alpha planes

Willink fighters flew at mach 2.5 to the Castle airport. The missiles closed in as they tried eversomuch to make it so the enemy missiles were within range of willing buk missiles systems. the planes kept close in and unleased Electronic countermeasures and prepared for impact. 2 Pilots pulled the menouver perfected with the SU-37, which the plane's thrust vectored engines make the plane do a complete flip while moving, which confuses the missile and causes it to head toward the ground. 6 Planes were hit, 4 being destroyed instantly. one damadged planes pilot ejected, and the other lost control and crashed into the countryside. The rest of the planes fled into the massive Air protection around Castle city. Willink then launched 10 MiG-31 Interceptors and 10 SU-47 Fighters armed with short and long range missiles to intercept the Parthians fighters.


Island city

Willink launched 10 Lavi fighters, and 8 MiG-35/37's along with 5 TU-22's and 5 TU-160 bombers armed with cruise missiles and smart bombs to destroy enemy postions. enemy positons around the city.

OOC: I'd prefer you edit your posts in the future when you move in to the area with the first post, allow me to respond, then go for it from there. I have about 155 fighters in the area which would obviously engage you BEFORE you even came into bombing range. I'll let it slide now, but prepare to be blasted into oblivion.

Task Force Delta

The enemy planes now were in range of the Parthian fleet. Within seconds, over 100 SAMs now flew into the air, heading directly towards the Morvonian bombers and Willink aircraft. As the smoke trails from the missiles closed in, blocking out the sun, the Parthian fighters in the area divided. One hundredfighter aircraft moved in to engage the Morvonians and Willink planes at close range. Each unleashing a single Sidewinder II missile towards the fleeing planes before closing in to engage with their cannons. Tracers lit up the skies as Parthian planes fired cannons at the lumbering bombers. Others moved directly up, then dove down directly on top of them, shooting their cannons away as they dived.

Meanwhile, 15 fighters turned towards the fleeing gunships, firing 30 HAMRAAM medium range missiles which flew off in puffs of smoke before accelerating to mach 5. The F-78s closed in now, to engage with cannon, hoping to kill all the SkyCapt forces.

Meanwhile, on the ground, almost 1500 Parthians were dead. However, this only spurred them on, running amok through the city with their shamshirs slicing apart anything. Mothers with children were hacked to bits while Parthians looted and burned their homes. 25,000 Islanders were chained together and being forced onto ships, where they would be taken to Parthia and sold as slaves. M-29 MBTs rolled off fresh hovercrafts, moving into the city with their guns blazing. In one section of the city, Parthian troops surrounded a school full of children and shot incindiary rounds from 105mm artillery at the school. As the building burned, the Parthian troops opened fire with machineguns and tank rounds at the evacuating students. Islanders were tossed from the windows of their apartment buildings as looting squads made off with valuables. Those unlucky citizens fleeing out of the city were strafed by Parthian aircraft.

The citizenry of Island City were doomed.

The Parthian fleet now sat offshore, with General Rostam Sardarizadeh laughing as he heard the fate of tens of thousands of Islanders, yet he now had his hands free, Morvonia and SkyCapt had attacked his conventional forces on a portion of the island outside Morvonian jurisdiction or protection. Perhaps now, it was time to land the remainder of his forces and carve a trail directly into Morvonian protected portions.

As he gave the order, preparations were made. 10 infantry divisions and 2 armored divisions were ordered to prepare for landing just outside Island City, from which, they would march to Morvonian VSI, burning everything as they passed.

The SkyCapt gunships were taking fire. Condor 4 went down in flames. "Frick!" Condor 1 changed com channels, and requested air support from the Delpihn. Fighter Wing of LMX-10's was redirected, and they sped towards the engagement. The Parthian FIghters turned to attack, launching AtA missiles, as the RSAF Aryx's did the same. 3 fighters fell from the sky, and the dogfight grew in intensity as the minutes passed. "Ah, frick, SOMEONE GET THIS GUY OFF ME!!" "I'm coming, Cobra 4!" "Ahhh!" "Got one!" The channel was filled with chatter as the pilots swerved, dived, spun, and circled aroudn the sky...

With the help of superior alleid fighters the carrier Implacable had finally driven off the Parthian fighters and now the great shipped spawned dizens of lannding vehicles. The parthian soldiers had not noticed this preocupied as they were so they were quite suprised when a thousand national guardsmen with there accompaning vehicles alongside twice their number of naval crewmen toting their side arms charged up the beach, the naval crewmen armed themselves from the multiple bodies on the beach and the radio operators on the Implacable passed on imformation about the confederate forces location. The Parthian reinforcements were still ten miles away and could only watch as the Parthains in the city were slolwy driven back.
Then the 88mm artilery in the guard posisitons opened up over a dozen shell severy second flew into the air without pauses as the gunners relaoded the autoloaders with excellent precision. The F-78s began to fall to the ground in flames.

Ic- After Willink Commanders heard of the defeat of the planes, the commander became furious and ordered the launch of 40 NSM Koinsberg(Missiles are steathy) Sea skimming heavy anti- ship missiles, aimed primarily at the Aircraft carriers of the fleet. Along with that, 2 Lavi fighters launched 4 AS-20 tv guided missiles also aimed at the carriers.

Willink subs also became active off the Castle coast, firing 25 STM anti-ship supersonic missiles at the enemy fleet.(Mach 2.7, developed in US in 1980's, but never pressed into service) Willink SSBN's also launched a MFT missiles(Willink designed missile, using ballistic missile body, blows up over the enemy fleet, drops fuel and multiple warheads onto the fleet, then detonates fuel air explosives.

The Parthian assault on Island City had dealt the Liberation Front a huge blow, but after initial Pathian assault many of the citizens had joined the fight back. Word had spread that any people trying to leave would be killed, so many citizens were fighting back anyway they could. Anything heavy was thrown from high building onto the Parthian troop as they passed, home made explosives were thrown at enemy soldiers and many other citizens returned fire from buildings high, however most of those who fought back were killed in the Parthian onslaught. The Liberation front were using the sewers to avoid detection and were fighting back though out the city, The groups commanders had also joined the fighting after activating the distress signal. There were now running battles over the whole city. The Rebels had organized an effective defense of the south east of the city however this was mainly due to the fact it was very difficult for enemy troops to find their way around the slums. Mnay enemies had been killed in this area.
Some Small teams of men had made it to high buildings and were helping to co-ordinate the defense they were also giving co-ordinates the their allies so they could launch close range air attacks against the enemy. If they could get the Parthians bogged down in the city they might have a better chance of beating them.

The Liberation Fronts commander in Castle Andrew Nile had called back the Special Forces that were to be sent to Island City until they could take the skies over city and land the men safely. He had also gathered the newly formed 1st regular infantry battalion and around 3000 Liberation Front fighters. They were getting together all the men, equipment and aircraft they could to launch an attack on The Parthians. They hoped to co-ordinate the attack with allied forces.

A groups of Liberation Front comandos along with Special forces units began boarding several small boats on the north coast of the Island. They were to begin traveling to boats that were to be used to transport Very Small Islanders anyway to be slaves. They boarded the boats and started the engines. They started travelng out to the boats at a high speed hoping to destroy the boats before they could be used.

You could just have called in an airstrike, i oculd have dessotryed it with my artillery, but anyway, the National guard was slowly moving through the city, culling enemy stragellers and joining up with pockets of liberation front troops, but there was a problem teh fighting was so intense tehy were runnign out of ammuntion!

Gyrobot knew due to their nation cant fight in a MT war decided to help the allies by supplying them, They decided to send in a super sonic carrier to drop several boxes of ammunition for the troops of Spizana. The containers could withstand the impact caused by the speed of the carrier. And it soon reach the island Also it contained a special anti chemical agent that will reduce the effect of the parthian's chemical weapons.

The Liberation Front also has some ammunition in the sewers you can use.

Suddenly, the blur of the supersonic SSMs and MFTs appeared on radar and infrared scopes. Within seconds, the ship computer for the superdreadnought Shahanshah Khosru plotted intercept patterns and unleashed SAMs equipped with small Fuel Air explosive warheads designed to take out missiles. Another two carriers were hit by three and four missiles, and were sunk in a massive explosion. Much of Parthia's air cover was down. 5 cruisers and 3 destroyers were hit, and two more cruisers were damaged.

The situation had just escalated. Shah Khosru was almost instantly Notified of his loss, now it was personal. He gave the order, over 200,000 troops, 10 divisions, and 3 divisions of armor were to mobilize along with the entire Parthian Bandar-e Shapur fleet. 300 warships and innumerable transports were to descend on VSI and utterly smash whatever resisted.

Meanwhile on VSI, the Shah's vengeance was going to fall on Island City. Parthian troops wore CBW gear as standard operating procedure, since it was built into their battle armor. It would simply need a warning, and then the Shah could have his utter vengeance. A siren went off in each squad level radio, men braced themselves for the next phase. The decks of the Parthian superdreadnoughts erupted in flame as 28 inch shells flew through the air, bursting over Island city to spray a toxic cloud of VX. Every uncontrolled area was shot at, rapid fire 5 inch guns on the Parthian cruisers and 8 inch guns on the destroyers fired away, sending shell after shell of toxic VX gas. M-777, M-109, and M-110 howitzers joined in, showering Island City with toxic gas. Only the slaves in the slave ships would be safe amongst the islanders, they were protected by the fleet and well away from the new slaughter.

The gas drifted downward, moving across the city and slowly falling. It accumulated in low places, people on the first floor of a building or especially in the sewers, would be hit with intense, quickly fatal doses. Death could come from inhalation, or even absorbtion through the skin. Only a mere 6 seconds of exposure would leave an unfortunate man dead. Hopefully, the gas would kill the entire populace before they even knew what happened.

Outside of Island city, meanwhile, a column of Parthian forces moved, division upon division of armor and infantry moved forward, rumbling through the countryside burning villages and crops. Loot and pillage followed the burning trail, as did the bodies of Islanders, impaled, cut apart, or shot.

SS-X-21 SAM missiles, which i have 25 of in castle, have a range of 400km, so they would have probably shot down multiple fighters. Not to mention my SS-19's which have a range of 300km.

Woh ! 64 missiles are fired and only 2 make it through ?? I know they can be shot down but i find this extrodanairily improbable. Even ageis could not cope with that much missiles fired at once. The Shah had heard enough, if Willink wanted to try and beat him in the numbers game, the Shah would happily feel free to. Now, he ordered the deployments to increase, the satrapies of Khorasan and Mesopotamia yeilded their troops. Men of Sistan gave divisions. 25 Infantry divisions: 500,000 men and 7 armored divisions were to be deployed along with the Bandar-e Shapur and Bushehr fleets. Air wings from Tehran and Ardebil joined the Fars Air Forces. Over a thousand planes waited for transportation, fighters and bombers, electronic warfare and AWACs. Aircraft ferries would move them to VSI, where they would rain death on the enemies. Parthia could raise an army far above what Willink could imagine.

Willink is to redepoly 10 infantry divisions from Montignac, amount another 300,000 men, and 25 Willink Nuclear Attack Submarines, 100 Lavi Fighters, 50 SU-47 fighters, and 10 more TU-22M Medium bombers. Also included will be 400 More K1A1 tanks, 375 More Type 90 tanks, and 350 BMP-4's, along with 25 More SS-X-21 SAM systems.

The national guardsmen realised something was wrong when Implacable radioed them to say that the Parthian fleeet had fired an enourmous volley of weaponary at the city, they took the precaution of donning there gasmasks and handing out there spares to the naval crewmen and alll teh VSI liberation fornt soldiers near them, it was a lucky escpae, seconds after the last mask was donned the poisonous gaas in teh shells reached tehm and all around them small rodents dropped to the ground dead.
The luetenant-colonel called on the radio and signalled the withdrawl.
The force fell back to the willink military base, te three thousand troops had lost over seven hundred men almost all naval crewmen.

The President of Spizania today announced that the Second Aircraft carrier in the fleet, The Glorious is beign sent to the region, alongwith the 1st Marine Battalion (1000 men) and the 1st regular army brigade(2000 men).

Willink has also began converting several Nuclear ICBM's to be armed with Toxic Nerve agents for attack on enemy soldiers that enters through skin and clothing, with causes the infectants muscles tense as hard as possible, which paraylizes the person, and their muscles strain until their back is broken.

I will also supply you with 200 3M82 MOSKIT anti-ship missiles(conventional warhead), which are the most deadly anti-ship missiles in service in the world today, here is some info:

The Raduga Moskit anti-ship missile is perhaps the most lethal anti-ship missile in the world. The MOSKIT is designed to fly as low as 9 feet at over 1,500 miles per hour, faster than a rifle bullet. The missile uses a violent pop-up maneuver for its terminal approach to throw off Phalanx and other anti-missile defense.

So it can fly over their fuel air-explosives and crash down, destroying their ships.

The Sunburn can deliver a 200-kiloton nuclear payload, or: a 750-pound conventional warhead, within a range of 100 miles, more than twice the range of the Exocet. The Sunburn combines a Mach 2.1 speed (two times the speed of sound) with a flight pattern that hugs the deck and includes "violent end maneuvers" to elude enemy defenses. The missile was specifically designed to defeat the US Aegis radar defense system. Should a US Navy Phalanx point defense somehow manage to detect an incoming Sunburn missile, the system has only seconds to calculate a fire solution not enough time to take out the intruding missile. Task Force Alpha

The first vessels of the massive armada cut through the seas, their objective: to intercept the enemy carrier battlefleet, then move towards VSI to utterly crush the entire resistance there. About 450 miles away, and moving towards them, was the Spinozan fleet. The commander of the fleet, Admiral Shapur Zahedi, now prepared to utterly smash them in a massive barrage of missiles.

The decks of the Shah Ardeshir and Shah Bahram: the massive superdreadnoughts were suddenly covered in smoke, as were the decks of several cruisers. 100 Trireme missiles flew away, sropping down to the level of the sea and flying only a few feet above it at subsonic speed to decrease visibility with IR scopes, they were to fly within 40 miles of the fleet, then accelerate to mach 2.5. As they neared their target, they would pop up, before slamming 600 pounds of ONC explosive directly into the vessel.

To take their attention off the trireme missiles, twenty large SLBM sized weapons flew off the arsenal ships and flew directly into the air. At 80,000 feet, the missile would lose the first stage and the booster to reveal the Quinqereme SSM. The missile's scramjet motor would take over, bringing it up to 100,000 feet at mach 7.5, well above the operating cieling of most missiles. Once over it's target: carriers and capital ships of the Spinozan fleet, directional thrusters would send the missile on a terminal dive, before kicking in extra thrusters. The missile would accelerate to up to mach 20, before slamming into the vessel. A DU penetrator and 1800lbs of ONC explosive ensured even a superdreadnought would fall apart.

Meanwhile, most of the Parthian fighters and attack aircraft took to the air, waiting for what was to happen next.

Outside Castle


Willink Planes took off and prepared for a 2nd assault on The Parthians fleet. 10 TU-22 Bombers escorted by 25 SU-47 fighters. They unleashed a barrage of 75 3M82 MOSKIT anti-ship missiles with conventional warheads(read below about how they kill you) , aimed at the Shah Bahram and Shah Ardeshir. Willink SSBN's then unleased 8 MFT missiles aimed at the rest of the fleet. The missiles would come in skimming, then fly radicly up to avoid fuel air missiles, then further avoid CWIS fire, then come crashing down on the decks of the Super-dreadnoughts


15 Willink MiG-31 interceptors and 25 MiG-35/37 fighters were launched to distract and destroy the enemy planes in flight. Willink's SAM defenses were on full alert and 4th infantry division prepared to launch an assualt on an
Parthian base nearby, escorted by 50 K1A1 tanks, Mobile SAM's, 75 BMP's and multiple smaller vehicles.


10 Nuclear Attack Subs also began to head toward the Enemy fleet, and prepared to launch torpeodoes and 3M82 MOSKIT anti-ship missiles. Willink MiG 25R's, flying at maximum altitude, and at Mach 3 + began to take pictures of Parthian troops postions around Very Small Island. 10 SU-38 Ground attack aircraft were dispached to assist the 4th infantry division.

The 1st Independant Battery launched 50 of the Moskit Weapons at the Parthian fleet as the Implacable turned into the wind and lauched every remaining aircraft, when they were away she turned back towards castle and ran for her life, screened by the destroyers Liberty and Fitzgerald.

The chemical attacks had killed hundreds of thousands on Island city some had taken cover in shelters and others had taken cover in old government bunkers. Although many of the men in the sewer were killed around 1000 had made it out of the city. Much of the south east of the city had been saved by a change in the winds, this provided route out of the city for a few thousands more citizens had that were attempting to get to safer towns throughout the country. The rest of the citizens remained inside there bunkers or other underground buildings and waited for the gas to clear.


The forces had been gathered in Castle but the counter attack didn’t seem worth it any more as the Parthians had left what was left of the city and the main battele seemed to have shifted to other areas. Andrew Nile had sent out a new radio message to the people of VSI
" The return of the Parathian army had brought death and destruction to our island once again. They have committed war crimes in our country once again killing hundreds of thousand of people in their totally unjustified attacks. Is there no way we can bargain with Parthia what do they want and what will they gain from this mindless violence? Our people will defend our country from the evil Parthian forces and they will be shown no mercy by our forces. I urge all people in Very Small Island to put any differences aside and join the Liberation Front and our allies in our war against Parthia."


In the mean time the small boats filled with special forces continued to move towards the Parthian fleet hoping to damage as many ships as possible.

Many more groups of men were coming out of the mountains to join the Liberation front to prepare for the attack. Thousands of men had gathered at castle and were joinign the ranks of the Liberation front along with newly formed VSI military.

Quickly, arsenal ships fire control systems plotted intercept courses, then fired a spread of large SAMs. The SAMs were each equipped with EMP warheads, once a safe distance of 25 miles from the fleet was reached, they would engage an electromagnetic pulse that fried missile hardware, sending most crashing into the sea. The superdreadnoughts were each hit by a missile, but, the thick armor that encapsulated the sides basically meant the paint was somewhat burned and the armor slightly dented. Five crusiers and three destroyers were not so lucky, fuel air explosives destroyed them utterly, sending them crashing down in the sea.

Sonar further added to their plight, "torpedo in the water", screamed the sonar operator of the Shah Ardeshir, fortunatley, the launch of the torpedoes had given away the location of the subs. The first response was simple, a barrage of no less than 50 rockets flew off several arsenal ships, once they had reached the location of the submarines, they boke apart, spilling a torpedo into the water. Accquiring their targets, the torpedoes now moved towards the submarines. Back in the fleet, the metal wall system attempted to intercept the torpedoes with barrages of 20mm slugs. Most were utterly destroyed and exploded away from the fleet, sending up a cloud of water, but two frigates were gone.

155 F-78s patrolling over the fleet now divided, 100 were ordered after the fighters, each one firing a single HAMRAAM missile as they closed in. The other 55 shot after the bombers, using HAMRAAM missiles to blow apart the lumbering bombers. As they closed in on those, Sidewinder II missiles and cannon lit up the skies. Tracers shot forward, planes moved around and mobbed the lumbering bombers.

The arsenal ship added its own dent in the matter, little more than a ship carrying many missiles, it now was going to make the airfield that held these bombers pay. 1200 cruise missiles, each built of stealthy, radar absorbent materials, now flew off the deck of the arsenal ship towards the airfield near Castle. Half of the cruise missiles were loaded with cluster munitions, while the others were high explosive and incindiaries. Hopefully, this massive barrage would forever crush Willink airpower in this theatre.

Point Alpha Base

The men simply moved into their blackhawks, flying away towards the main army forces now moving across the countryside towards Morvonian VSI, staying low over the treetops to avoid contact. 35 F-78s in the area now instead, turned on the fighters, firing away two HAMRAAM missiles each guided by LIDAR. 10 F/A-91 attack aircraft dropped napalm on the ground below, hoping to kill the ambushers.

Island City

Parthian engineers now worked to clear out much of the city, flattening buildings in areas where no life was. Land was flattened out, then covered in concrete. Much of the city was to become a massive airbase and military barracks or, devoted to special things. This "special thing" was actually one gigantic fenced in pen, complete with row after row of barracks like structures. On one end, sat several factories, each dedicated to producing a certain thing. However, what looked like massive ovens were there as well, in fact, they were microwave chambers, each one built so that anything placed inside would literally have all water evaporated, which was collected in a nearby bottling facility.

This was the Shah's decision to end the VSI problem once and for all. All people the army did not kill would be rounded up and brought here, they would work in factories, and then, when they outlived their usefulness, would be crammed into a microwave chamber. The water from their bodies would be bottled and sold off, while their remains would be depolymerized and turned into artificial petrol.

To ensure the camp remained secret, the Parthian armies had the entire thing covered in tarps that looked like the remains of crumbled buildings. Hopefully, they would be unaware of the people kept here.

Sams are small by other missiles standards, even large sams EMP would only knock out a small area of electro faliure, and the missiles climb up and then come crashing down on the deck, not into the side of the hull, and the missiles were designed to sink carriers, so i doubt it would "Burn the paint", even on a Gigatic warship, it is the equivelent of an Fleet aircraft carrier being hit by an 10in shell during WW2. Not to mention after the fire of over 175 missiles, your ammo would be nearing depletion. EMP missiles would have dealt with around 70% of the missiles, but that would still leave around 15-20 of mu Missiles heading at the ships, not to mention about 5 of spizona's. It would take a missiles the size of a ICBM armed with Emp to knock out a wide enough range of missiles. Not to mention the computers vilont evasive menuver system would activate when your EMP missiles were 35 Miles away, and they would climb to maximum altitude and then screetch back down at Mach 2.1, it a desperate attempt to evade the counter missiles. They fly close together at varying altitudes, so you bassicly wasted about 2/3 your missiles, but one that did hit took out multiple missiles. Ones flying at higher altitudes were

IC: The Powerful Japanes built (Designed to see Chinese Air movments as far away as mongolia ,can also detect Stealth aircraft with ease, i read Jane defense weekly UGH !)radar detected and willinks 25 Buk multi use anti missile system began to aim at the incoming cruise missiles. Aircraft were ordered to leave the airfield as fast as possible, but some did not make it. The Buk worked amazingly, unleashing 4 missiles each, which resulted in a massive amount of missiles in the air at one time. 95 cruise missiles we taken down, but 1105 still rained down upon the airport. 10 TU-22 medium bombers and 26 Lavi fighters were caught in the blast, along with a few 100 troops and a couple tanks. A few missiles overshot the airfield, and hit not only civilian house but a marine base, killing 300 marines and injuring 275.

That is a phyrric victory for you have lost all those ships all to destroy the Implacable group, you nailed the entire group, one old Indomnible class carrier, two manstein class destroyers and one old suppport vessel, this fllet was about to be decommisioned when the war started, the main fleet is in the Glorious/Valorious Battle Group, ha it was a ruse!!!!!!! :p
llthough i lost another three hundred national guardsmen in the attack on his airfield :(, well is odenst matter i have 5 whole divisons coming your way!

IC-Willink Fighters all ready airborne before the missiles strike( 35 SU-47 fighters, 25 Lavi's, 15 MiG-35/37's) took off and prepared to launch a retalitory strike on the Parthians air forces. They were armed with AA-12 Adder's(Russian version of the AMRAMM but with longer range, better accuracy, and thrust vectoring system) AA-10 Short range missiles (Much better then sidwinder missiles) and unguided bombs, there mission was to destroy enemy planes and to drop there munitions on the arsenal ship.

My fleets a bit undergunned and i dont want to put my fleet up against the parthians while attempting to transport my army to VSI.

I like to stay away from them, they are just gigantic targets. Check some storefronts to find some though.

I have fifty eight thousand nine hundred men with over six thousand heavy tanks and numerous other vehicles but my small fleet cant get through to VSI.
I need help desperately.

SkyCapt Regulars posted in Island City had passed out surplus gas masks, saving 3-4 families of VSI residents. They were now engaged in combat with Parthian Infantry, using anything they could kill with - Bricks, knives, rifles, pistols, helmets, even swords and silverware knives they found. The fighting resembled what had taken place in Stalingrad during WWII. A spade went flying through the air, and a Parthian soldier fell to the ground, the blade having passed through his shoulder. "Fight for your lives! Don't give up!" Men screamed. A final rush at a line of oncoming Parthians took place, and SkyCapt Regulars and Spec Ops began firing, throwing grenades, stabbing enemies with their bayonets. "AHHHHHHHHHHHH," men yelled as a final dash was made. They broke into enemy lines, and started knifing, bayoneting, spading, shoveling, and hacking at the enemy...

Having taken delivery of several new vessels the Glorious/Valourious battle group set sail carrying over 58 thousand men to VSI to fight for freedom.

OOC: After the amount of aircraft and missiles thorwn at the implacable i have invested in several Paramount ADV vessels armed with Praetorian V and VI systems as well as cruisers equiped with DREAD cannons and constant barrage anti ship and regular conventional warhead cruise missiles.

The Liberation Front was still holding out in the old market district of the city in the southeast.
Gunfire could be heard through out this district, the maze of streets had proved to be a death trap for Parthian troops.

As the group of men turned around to open fire on another group of enemy soldiers.

The main rebel strong hold was the old market building in the southeast, in the old storage rooms beneath the building radio operators sent out messages

" we are holding out in the old market district, but we need more supplies and hazard suits and gas marks would also help" said one of the radio operators.

Outside the city many of the fighters who had fled had returned to help the fight back. A few men had spotted the camps set up by the Parthian and they were trying to get to Liberation front HQ to spread the word.

Miles Nove had also escaped the attack and led a team of 12 men in an attack on the presidential Palace, the building was not very heavily defended and the team got through easily They made there way to the maze of rooms below the palace. The men searched for a short time before they found a warehouse used to house equipment from the old government chemical warfare program. After a brief search they found many autoinjectors and atropine, this could be used to combat the VX nerve gas. They called for some truck to help move these and other supplies to a safe location. Other documents were found that gave information on other store houses.

In Castle plans were underway to launch a large counter attack against the advancing Parthians, The men were waiting for Spizanian's and other troops to arrive before the attack was launched.

Sams are small by other missiles standards, even large sams EMP would only knock out a small area of electro faliure, and the missiles climb up and then come crashing down on the deck, not into the side of the hull, and the missiles were designed to sink carriers, so i doubt it would "Burn the paint", even on a Gigatic warship, it is the equivelent of an Fleet aircraft carrier being hit by an 10in shell during WW2. Not to mention after the fire of over 175 missiles, your ammo would be nearing depletion. EMP missiles would have dealt with around 70% of the missiles, but that would still leave around 15-20 of mu Missiles heading at the ships, not to mention about 5 of spizona's. It would take a missiles the size of a ICBM armed with Emp to knock out a wide enough range of missiles. Not to mention the computers vilont evasive menuver system would activate when your EMP missiles were 35 Miles away, and they would climb to maximum altitude and then screetch back down at Mach 2.1, it a desperate attempt to evade the counter missiles. They fly close together at varying altitudes, so you bassicly wasted about 2/3 your missiles, but one that did hit took out multiple missiles. Ones flying at higher altitudes were

OOC: The altitude they would climb to is sill in operating range for one of my SAMs that are highly maneuverable thanks to 3-D thrust vectoring. Even if they did slam right into my Superdreadnoughts, the superdreadnought would not be effected much, thanks to literal FEET of armor. Superdreadnoughts are designed to be able to take most missiles without much damage at all, I usually kill them with scramjet missiles, but thats just me. I am not running low on Ammo, if you are attacking task force Alpha, you are attacking 600 vessels, including several arsenal ships. Whatever else that happens, the metal wall system can still blast a massive area of sky very quickly. EMP missiles create a large affected area, so your talking about a large spread that gets knocked out.

The Parthian fleet now turned to VSI, it would be better to get the war on the ground moving, and what better way than to land 500,000 more men, bringing the number of Parthians on the ground to 650,000. Once they were there, they would smash the entire island, kill whatever they felt like, and utterly destroy what opposed them.

Radars came active from AWACs aircraft in the fleet. Willink aircraft were moving towards the Parthian fleet. Now, with far less numbers than the Parthians had, they would be menched apart in the meatgrinder. 155 F-78s moved forward, each one discharging a HAMRAAM missile, the glare of the missiles flying away brightening the sky while the smoke blotted out the sun. The RIM-220 missiles on the fleet soared into the air, heading towards the enemy aircraft while the fleet continued forward.

Island City: 111th Infantry Division

The charge of the Islanders and SkyCapt forces struck the advancing Parthians. Lieutenant Shapur Golzari now told his platoon what to do, as they took cover, the platoon's three DM-37 IFVs opened fire with 30mm autocannons. spraying the advancing troops with shells while the Parthians fired away with M-30 SAWs and M-31 assault rifles. The whirr of a rifle grenade flew through the air, before exploding. Hordes of them continued to advance, prompting the platoon to respond quickly.

"Draw shamshirs!" The squad cheered, and then, in one, uniform motion, removed the curved, sharp shamshirs from their holsters and charged forward. Armored in ceramic plate armor, they were virtual juggernauts in close combat, and all expert swordsmen. Hacking apart people as they charged, the Parthians cut with their glistening swords, slicing off limbs, heads, and cutting open torsos.

Willink Commander Michael Smith has ordered two infantry divsions, totaling 60,000 men, and 175 tanks and 200 smaller vehicles to help Skycap and VSI forces in Island City.


IC- Willink trained civilians fought back as hard as possible. They hid in upper floors of buildings, firing RPG-7's and throwing Grenades at Pathian Infantry fighting vehicles and tanks . Almost every Street was a deathtrap with armed civilians firing to defend their homes, their families. Ak-47 fire flew in every direction. Truck loads of Civilians drove toward the fighting. 10 year old children armed with pistols fired upon enemy soldiers.

I trained them about 25 post ago, Prior to the invasion of Island City.

The spizania armoured mechanised forces moved out covered by a screen of mechanised forces moved out of there camp covered by the UAVs and helicopters of the force. The column of Challenger IIs, The Ostkampfwagen VIIIs "Fernes", TAM howitzers, PT76s, Scorpion Scouts and IKV-91s tailed on for seveeral miles along the dusty road as the force of sixty eight thousand nine hundred men moved out onto the open plane to meet up with the allied foces joining them for the newly named "Operation Sledgehammer".

"Sir! I-it's no use, sir, their pounding us to pieces! We have to pullout!" One of the more experienced Regulars screamed. "Your right," Sighed the commander. He manipulated a radio, then told the VSI Leaders they were temporarily pulling out of the city... "Yeah, I'm very sorry, but we need to rearm, rest, and replenish our numbers. We'll be back. Count on it..."

Just as Skycapt forces began to pull back, Willink's two infatry divisions and 300 tanks closed in on Parthian forces, and Willink MLRS systems began to launch Missiles at Known Parthian Positions.

Island City

Parthian forces took little damage for the most part, shrapnel was unable to penetrate the ceramic plate armor, but stronger hits and those at closer range caused much damage. Thus far, hundreds had died for their country, prompting the Parthians to change tactics. Tanks fired away at buildings where people were holed up in, sending them slamming down in clouds of dust. 30mm autocannons of the DM-37 IFVs ripped through buildings and exploded, destroying anything inside. Suddenly, the screech of the rockets came into audiability, and the Parthians were forced into their next action. Squads ran for cover, but many were blown apart in the firey death raining from the sky.

Colonel Bahram Ferdowsi now prepared his next move, calling in on the radio, he ordered for counterbattery fire from all avalible sources. M-777 artillery returned fire on MLRS positions, while from the sea, 28 inch guns of the Parthian superdreadnoughts joined in with over 75 artillery guns. Then, he heard reports, Willink troops were moving in, though only half of what Parthia had in Island city, they were throwing themselves into the meat grinder. M-29 Rostam MBTs moved forward, then when they were placed in sandbagged positions to defend key routes, the Parthians prepared for the counterattack. Anti tank weapons were readied while Parthian troops sought cover.

Above, the air swarmed with F-78s designed to intercept any incoming aircraft while AH-64s and F/A-91s moved in towards Willink forces. Clusterbombs and napalm fell from the bomb racks of the F/A-91s while rockets and anti tank missiles flew from the pods on the AH-64s. Artillery continued, but shifted fire towards advancing Willink soldiers, hoping to kill as many as possible.

Island City


As Willink Forces pressed into the city, anti-tank rockets and dug in tanks were holding down willink positions. Willink troops with ATGW anti tank missiles took cover within the rubble of destroyed buildings, and fired at parthian inbedded tanks and IFV's. They also began to use the crude, but effective, tactic of firing apon buildings with anti-tank missiles, thus making them collapse upon Parthian troops and vehicles. Although almost 3/4ths of willink troops had made it into the city, many were caught in napalm and incenidary strikes, but several Mobile Sam launchers managed to get a dozen or so missiles away at Enemy planes and helicopters. Willink troops also discovered the useful tactic of shooting at apache's with small arms, then launching multiple SA-18 should launched Sam's at them. Willink armor had taken moderate losses, about 60 tanks, but had been held up due to rubble blocking the streets. Willink troops were forced to use the tactic of clearing every standing building, lobbing grenades into broken windows. Then charging in, which although effective, it caused lots of casaulties. Willink forces also crudly aimed their Shoulder launched Sams at intrenched enemy tanks, which would inflict serious damadge, even to heavily armored portions of the tanks.

SkyCapt infantry fired parting shots as they pulled back, then slowed to a walk as light armor from SkyCapt and other nations began rolling in. LMF's and LMX's flew low, taking a few hits, and dropped their payloads. Napalm, High Explosives, and Armor Piercing Bomb Fragments flew into the heavily damaged roads and buildings. Hundreds of Parthians became unseen through the heavy blaze and smoke...

The 11th Para-Assult unit,486th regiment(3500 men) had entered into a diserted part of the city...there were dead bodies everywhere....smoke filled the lungs and the smell of the dead invaded the noses.Most of the dead were hacked into pieces....Mother,Fathers,Children...all of them.



They found Several buildings intacted and empty...they then hunkered down and waited.....

VSI we have a regiment of Paratrooper in the city undetected....Where do you need them....send someone to pick them up.

The Spizanian Column drove stright at island city, or what was left of it, almost totally unmolested, only once where they attack a lone F-78 swooped down on them and launched AtG missile, the DREAD cannons on the lead Ferne dealt with both in short order. About 5 miles out the artillery announced it was close enough and dropped out of the column guarded by one of the two independant FL tank brigades. The rest of the column spread out about two miles out and men disembarqued from the national guard mechanised units and fanned out into a infantry screen. Behind them hte artillery opened up in a enormous barrage, every one of the thousand howitzer vehicles firing for all it was worth. Teh tanks rolled on under this barrage and began to split inot the different streets, Spizania had arrived.

The Parthians new tactic of hitting building at point blank range had killed many rebel fighters and had increased the pace of the Parthian advance in the south.

"Sir we've just had word that Skycapt forces are pulling out of the city" ,said one of the radio operators as small parts of the roof broke away above him because of the Parthian shelling above. "and I don’t think were going to hold out in this basement much longer, we have to pull back"

" To where!" ,yelled his commander "There’s nowhere else to pull back to if we leave the city we’ll get hit by Parthian air attacks. How far is it to the old market building. ", he asked one of the other men

" I don’t know, a few hundred meters", he replied

"Alright we will try and make it there before were overrun" said the commander as he climbed the ladder out of the basement " but after that there's nowhere to go".

Inside The market building several reports had been received from friendly troops. The Liberation Front commanders had heard that Spizanian forces had entered the city and a report had been received from Morvonian paratroopers.
Miles Nove had hadn’t been heard from in hours so other members of the front had taken over command.

" Tell the Paratroopers to split up if they can, have some search for Miles Nove and those supplies in the Presidential Palace and ask the rest of them to try and hit the Parthians around this area in the rear, tell them to radio in before they attack and the remains of our forces will attack out we might be able to rout the men around this position if we attack them on both sides.", said one of the commanders.

" What about the civilians Sir, There’s about four hundred of them in the basement of the old department store and their starving many of them haven’t eaten anything in day some haven’t had anything to drink in days either." said another solider

"There’s nothing we can do , we don’t have a lot of food left and if we are overrun then the civilians will be killed anyway. we can only hope that the Morvonians reach us on time.", replied the commander.

Miles Nove and his men had been joined by around 20 other rebel fighters in the Vaults beneath the presidential palace. They had set traps and posted men at hidden positions near the entrance, They were waiting for help to arrive.

Castle City

The final preparations had been made and all the Willink and Morvonian equipment had been gathered along with 8,000 men around 4,500 had been trained by Morvonia the rest were rebel fighters. They had some air cover and they began to advance on Island City. A small number of men stayed behind to guard the citizens of castle and the people from he surrounding area who had come to the city to avoid the Parthian onslaught, But many were starving. This was the same all over the country, people had made there way to fortified towns after there farms and villages had been bombed, only to find food in short supply. Many other people were injured and the few doctors there were didn’t have the supplies to deal with the injuries. Aid was needed as soon as possible.

Okay I am here on a un-official investigation by the Commonwealth of Soverign Nations and I wan't to get an idea on what happened to who for what reasons. I want a side from all points of view.

WILLINK ANX-15 HEAVY ANTI-SHIP MISSILE

The Anx is a heavy anti-ship missiles capable of surpassing almost any naval defense. It has a 1000 pound warhead, and uses a Willink modfied engine, which gives it a top speed of Mach 6.5. It uses the same defense system as the Moskit, features rada jamming systems, radar absobant materials, and uses a special type of chip developed by Willink Industires that once an emp missile is fired, continues on its path, while the engine continues, the computer shuts down, but the missile continues in flight on a strait path, then one out of range reactivates its computer, and continues at its target at top speed. The warhead combined with speed means an impact on a Destroyer of Frigate would shred the ship in half(Litterly) and would cause the ship to sink almost instentaniously. Larger ships, such as Superbattleships, Mega carriers

This was the case involving a nation called The Parthians and a struggle to liberate an occupied country by a few small nations. This matter was given a few pages to explain its circumstances and reasons why the military should intervene in some way.

“Hmm…so you think we should intervene in this…conflict, General?” said the Prime Minister sternly, scanning a few satellite reconnaissance photos of the island and the battles going in it.

“Well sir…, this could benefit us both diplomatically and as a side dish economically too.” the general replied, as the rest of the military ministers nodded in approval.

Looking around the room, Erick could see the military leaders were set on playing a part in the conflict wanting to once again give the world a taste of what the Pheanixian Military was capable of. Since the conflict was rather small and contained he could indulge the military for now, letting them play around with their toys for a while, besides the Commonwealth hadn’t stretch its armed forces in a while and they could use the exercise.

“General, seeing as your so sure of a victory for our forces and our future allies, I grant you permission to engage in this conflict”, the Prime Minister made a pause to catch the reaction of his military and civilian advisors. The naval forces were another story as the appointed Grand Admiral, already had assemble two Carrier Groups for rapid deployment and a third one in reserve. This force obviously would grow bigger, as much as needed anyway, to force our opponents to surrender. General Rivera smiled as he look out his window down into the gathering of the troops, once again the Pheanixian Military awaken and will show the world its might.

Meanwhile the Marshall of the Airforce was ordering aerial reconnaissance of the islands by high altitude stealth airplanes, and putting the long-range bombers on alert. The massive B-52’s fleets and the B-2’s wings attached to the PEC would be ready in a few more hours, their deadly cargo taken out of storage once again. Almost every base in the west were active, busy with men coming to and fro with orders of deployment as the Paratroopers ready themselves to rescue or deal a massive blow to the enemy.

It is capable of detecting fast and small platforms, including ballistic, cruise and air-to-ground missiles, together with stealth aircraft, at a range three times greater than the FPS-3. Not to mention MiG-31 Interceptors flying patrols around VSi territory and my 60 or so Long range SAM installations throughout Castle city, which would have blown your Recon planes out of the air, with a range of 400km...

An attack on a heavily defended Parthian outpost had failed badly, and resulted in a retreat by SkyCapt Spec Ops and Shadow troopers. She sighed with relief, then suddenly a wounded Parthian shoved a rifle infront of her face. "..." She slowly put her gun down, then tracers flew through the man's body, and she stifled a scream. Five SkyCapt soldiers looked at her, then motioned for her to follow them. She gathered her equipment, and once again began to race through the foliage...

OK, this is getting cheap. Gassing entire cities and armies in order to win is what I consider n00bish behavior. Now, actually fighting is a different story...

Anothing cheap thing he is doing, He has 1,000 planes here, yet no air bases, and the island city airport was destroyed, and i sank 3 of his carriers, so were are the planes comming from ??. (ps. gotta a little secret weapon, ill TG what it is to Skycapt and u guys.)



OOC: I am fighting, I have troops on the ground in Island City who are currently attacking. Gassing was simply done to kill off civilians who rise up against me. I deal with troops conventionally.

I don't have 1000 planes, I have about 500 currently in action, thanks to 12 remaining carriers. An air base is being built over most of the ruins of Island city, as is that secret concentration camp. I posted that earlier, I'm flattening the parts I control and paving it over. Some of it is active for my planes, but otherwise its still under construction.

If you want to know about my fleet, the US navy maintains 300 ships for its navy, for a nation of 300 million. I am 3.4 billion and maintain about 1800 combat vessels. Some nations that are only 2.8-3 billion, such as Sarzonia or Praetonia maintain over 10,000 combat ships, though their primary focus is on naval matters.

Anyway, sorry for the digression, but I don't like to be accused of being cheap for using more forces that I can field without problem.

Island City: 111th Infantry Division

Parthian forces were being hit with the barrage of shells from Spinzianian artillery. Colonel Bahram Taleh ducked in a building as he heard several stray rounds kill of some of his men nearby. The buildings were being hit with shells, some collapsing as the men inside were killed by the firey death. Barking into his radio, he spoke, "Commence counterbattery fire!" The guns of the divisions parked in island city now traversed, 150 guns ranging from M-109 howitzers to M-777 artillery now fired back. Showering enemy batteries with shells. 28 inch shells from Parthian superdreadnoughts joined in, throwing up clouds of dirt and flame stretching hundreds of feet in the air as they landed.

Then, there came the sound of advancing Spinzanians, tank treads crushing rubble now came into audiability. Parthian M-29 Main battle tanks moved into position, their 120mm ETMAS guns trained down the road as fire control systems went active. DU sabot rounds were loaded in the ultra high velocity electrothermal magnetically accelerated guns, guaranteeing a kill against virtually any tank. Infantry in buildings set up their man portable anti tank missiles, each one a terminal diving missile complete with a DU penetrator. 30mm rapid fire guns were set up in crossfires along the street as they waited for the Spinzanians to move in.

It was bedlam, tanks exploding, smoke filling the sky as dozens of vehicles on each side where knocked out, the SkyCapt and VSI forces that had been trapped began to fall back as the battle raged on.

The 2nd Naval Task Force was the most-up-to-date naval force in the RSNC, consisting of 6 Remnant Battleships, 2 Dark Fin Carriers, 3 Judicator Destroyers, 2 Lancer Subs, 4 Troop Carriers, and 2 of the new Phoenix Class Destroyers. It was a force to be reckoned with, and the combined fire from the battleships and destroyers was a sight to behold. 4,000 more troops would also be welcome.

Willink troops began to set up 100mm howitzers within rubble of buildings and behind buildings, and willink troops opened fire on Parthian Troops with QBZ-95's and M16A3/M203's. Willink troops thrusted into weakly defended postions, then attempted to flank Parthian tanks, then fire Anti-tank missiles from behind. Willink Troops also penetrated deep into the city, and began to attack Parthain Supply lines...

*Island City*
"INCOMING!" A shell struck a building nearby, and it collasped to the ground. More shells could be heard screaming in, and men yelled, ducked, cried out in pain, and ran for cover as enemy artillery continued to pour into what little there was left of Island City. Men outside the city were considered lucky, as they didn't have to face the daily terror of arty, street combat, and disease. 4 Squadrons of Regulars ourside the city were busy digging trenches, constructing supply depots, setting up medical tents, and creating a network of underground tunnels, which they hoped would be effective. A message had been sent to VSI leaders, asking if VSI rebels would be available to lend a hand with the digging. A few stray shell might land outside of the city, but all they did was leave a hole in the ground, and maybe place 1 or 2 men in the hospital, but nothing more. Occasionally a half-completed tunnel might cave in from the constant pounding of allied and enemy artillery guns, but that was easily fixed. Artillery was being shipped in with the 2nd Naval Task Force, along with heavy armor, men, ammo, and supplies. Jets, both friendly and hostile, were constantly seen in the sky, engaged in dogfights or bombing positions. The Delphin's complement of aircraft was growing smaller bit by bit, and after every sortie, at least one pilot would be missing, usually found by a Parthian Patrol, or if he was lucky, by the VSI...

Gant Airbase, West Pheanix, 12:00 MT

The sun was high in the sky, its unforgiving heat reflecting off the runway asphalt, yep another normal day here at Gant. Suddenly all hell broke lose as the order was given to deploy the Paratroopers and put into action a heavy bombing operation to decimate the enemy forces. In the background you could hear anything, from seargents yelling to their troops to the clamoring of the jet engines as the escort vessels took to the air. By the hangars you could see the troopers being loaded in their airplanes, two brigades were being sent to spearhead the takeover of Island City. Comprised mostly of veterans this two units were a force to be recon with, almost 16,000 soldiers falling from the sky during a bold nighttime attack. It would be a sight to behold for the allies and a nightmare for the enemy.

Providing escort were about 100 fighters, a mix of F-22 Raptors and F-15 Eagles, all in all a force in itself. The bombing operation would initiate from another base, so the long-range bombers station in Gant merely took of to repositioned themselves for the big runs later on. By now most of the troopers were loaded up and the massive C-130 Hercules was taking off to deliver their precious load. These launches were time to have the troopers delivered in the dead of night to add a more drastic effect to the fighting.


304th and 305th Carrier Groups, Location Undisclosed

Admiral Castro was in charge of these detachments as the Grand Admiral stayed behind organizing more naval forces to come to the theater. Both units were maintained on alert the whole way, even ordering a CAP around the small fleet. The planes were readied and supplied with both fuel and weapons, all prepared to take off in a moments noticed, the captains of the four carriers, quietly waiting for the chance to see who had the better crew of the Fleet. The rest of the ships were simply plowing through the ocean awaiting the battle to come, even the hardened veterans couldn’t contain their excitement about going to battle once more. The small fleet was centered on the four Carriers, escorted by a dozen modernized Iowa Battleships, and dozens of Assault Ships, Frigates and Destroyers, all in all about the fleet compromised of about a 100 vessels. Meanwhile below the murky surface water half a dozen submarines or so were dispersed around the fleet in defensive formation, waiting their chance to unleash their deadly volley at enemy ships.

Boredoom Naval Base, West Pheanix, 1:00 MT

Another Task Force was being ready, although its role would be different as it would be doing escort duty for the supply and transport routes toward the theater. The Naval personnel had its hands full even without the adding pressure to transport two whole Marine Divisions and their support personnel over seas. The base was running almost robotically to achieve this as quickly as possible, as those soldiers were needed to crush opposing forces quickly. The Colonel in charge of the troops was getting impatient, as were most of the marines, they wanted to go over there and join the battle as they were itching for a fight. The base Commander could only give him assurances as the transports were being prepped and ready for the journey.

A few hours later the Marines began boarding the transport ships, long and bulky ships able to carry huge amounts of cargo. Grumbling the marines got inside, wishing that the journey would be as short as possible to better help out the Parthian in their fight. Although it would take at least a few hours before the Marines got all loaded up, they were finally underway by dusk. It would be a few days journey before the amphibious forces arrived and wrecked havoc among the enemy troops, something they have been waiting for all week.

Island City

"Incoming!" Shouted a private as Willink shells fell on Parthian forces. Two men nearby were blown apart by 100mm shells. Meanwhile, from the corner of the Parthian soldier's eye, he could see a Willink soldier brace himself on a window with an anti tank missile launcher. Turning his gun around, he launched a single grenade into the window, blasting the soldier to bits while the Parthians continued on.

AH-64s, flying overhead in the skies over Island City, a virtual complete Parthian air superiority area thanks to the F-78s, now turned their attention on Willink soldiers raiding behind the lines and artillery. Seek and destroy missions now were the repitoire. Meanwhile, as the Parthians took control of more areas, they flattened them out, demolished the buildings, and paved over them.

OOC- My SS-X-21 Sam defenses have a range of 420km, VIS is about 175km at its widest.

Suddenly a large blip was picked up on a FPS-XX Radar. The Computer began analyzing the targets, which then the information was sent to the Missile defense, and targets were prioratized. The Sam positons then reaimed and unleased 64 Missiles, Aimed mostly at the larger, propeller planes, but about 40% of the missiles went at the other planes in the group. Willink soldiers immeditly began to reload the missiles, and waited for the first batch to make contact.

Bump

It was a silent voyage toward the enemy position in Very Small Island; the giant flying armada went about their route as quietly as a C-130 Hercules could go, being a jet plane and all. Everything was going by the book, but suddenly all the radars started bleeping frantically showing the incoming missiles although what surprised the crew the most what the quantity...only 64 Sam’s. “Are they running out ammo so soon?” one of the transport pilots joked about as they broke formation and tried to evade the missile fire as well as launching countermeasures to confuse the missiles.

The plethora of escort fighting quickly disengage and went about evading the missiles as best they could, although you could hear one or two cowboys in the fleet destroying the SAM with cannon fire, be it by sheer luck or pure determination nobody knows. But the lucky break of the mission was when the SkyHawk, hidden among the Hercules, quickly found and traced the SAM batteries that just fired at them.

“Alpha Squad, you got your orders” the stern voice of a communications officers said as he hang on while the pilot kept the plane and its crew alive.

“Roger that” a lone voice replied, “you heard him boys, go to your targets and destroy them” Alpha Squad Commanders took charge now, and headed toward the nearest SAM.

The Raptors that survived the missiles accelerated closing the distance between them and their targets hoping to catch the Batteries before they fired again. Mean while the Eagles and the remaining Hercules continued on their way, just a few more minutes and the Troopers would be in position, killing enemy soldiers from above.

304th and 305th Carrier Groups, Near VSI

The Task Forces continued on their way, getting nearer and nearer toward the coasts of VSI, the vessels plunging from wave to wave of cold water. The Admiral could be found looking at the outline of VSI forming on the horizon, awaiting the chance for his Iowa’s to sculpt out a name for him in the plains and beaches of this country. The only thing you could see in the sky were the miniature explosions of missiles against planes or getting disoriented and crashing into the water. It was a sight to behold, appearing much like the fireworks thrown at the inauguration of a new Minister back in the Pheanixian homeland. Quickly the Admiral gave the order for the launch of all aircrafts in the carriers; the battle had begun without them. The silence of the night was broken by the screeching of the elevator bringing up deck the many F-15’s and F-18’s for take off, the Pheanixian Navy would have to help their airforce brethren once more.

No more than 10 minutes later a flying armada of about 200 carrier-based fighters was joining the Hercules and their escorts against the enemy forces. But these planes had different orders, once at their destination they would commence air-to-ground bombardment of enemy position near and inside of the city. A big smile was forming on the Admiral lips, as he made plans for when his big guns got in range of the enemy forces, the best was yet to come.


Amphibious Carrier Group, Location Undisclosed

The Task force escorting the two Marine Divisions was on its way, making great progress along the already traced route toward the Very Small Island territories. This group of vessels although on high alert and flying a good CAP wasn’t going to join the battle unless absolutely necessary, which for now wasn’t necessary. The Marines onboard were an eager bunch, cleaning their weapons rigorously or exercising on the deck of their ships, all very eager to meet their foe or should we say impatient to get out the bucket of metal they were in. Just another day of this and they would be out in the sands of an unknown country fighting an enemy they barely know just to help out a nation that’s winning by itself. Something fishy was going on here but most dismissed it as just another war to participate in, kill or be kill just that simple.

Castle City
Willink secondary batteries, consisting with about 40 SS-18 Sam missiles batteries, with a range of 300km, caught enemy planes coming in fast, and began to aim towards the target. 80 Missiles flew off into the direction of the enemy planes, and the 400km range Sams were almost done reloading. The 400km sams that were not fired before fired off 20 missiles into the path of the enemy planes.

Willink short range Sams were also prepared, in case any enemy planes got within further range.



Island City



Willink troops continued to fight against Parthian troops in the city, resorting to launching anti-tank missiles at enemy troop positions. Willink howitzers Continued to bombard enemy troops and vehicles. Willink troops, recieving a constant flow of supplies from skycapt forward base, Used newly replenished SAM ammo to launch them at the enemy helicopters. Willink troops took cover in destroyed buildings, and fired grenades from their M203's on the M16 at enemy light vehicles and at troops. Willink tanks finally began to push forward, attacking head on into enemy postions and using their larger numbers to overwhelm the positions. 12 tanks were lost in the advance, and around 175 troops killed.


OOC-Pheanix, those were just my long, long range missiles. ;)

Borman has many allies involved in this conflict. We do not want to see allies spill blood in a battle with eachother. We call for a cease-fire and invite representatives from all parties to come to our nation for peace talks.

We will attend peace-talks, if the Parthians and her allies agree to give up VSI in order for its people to rebuild and start a government. SkyCapt peacekeeping forces will be present to ensure the VSI government gets off on the right foot.

1. Parthia will continue to occupy all of VSI for 150 years, excepting other colonial holdings by powers neutral or friendly to Parthia in the War
2. Island city and the area around it will be a Parthian possession unless we decide to give it up.
3. After 150 years, VSI will be returned as a Parthian protectoriate
4. Castle and surrounding areas will be made a Pheanix possession unless they decide to relinquish it.
5. VSI must pay 3 trillion dollars in reparations for annoying the Shah.

Although outgunned the fighters through themselves upon the F78s soon joined by the remnants of the F-15s based at Castle after the loss of the Implacable. It looked bad for the allies until those cruise missiles i launched slammed into there targets and the alignment suddenly changed.

You see Parthian resisance to allied vehicles (mainly mine) had formed around for key crossroads about a mile inside the city. Each crossroads was beign assaulted by a division when the missiles struck, now sayign teh parthain posistion was destroyed doesnt do neither does obliterated, the best word i think would be ANNIHALTED as at each point half a ton of high-explosive buried into gorund to the depth of one meter and exploded. The Confederate tanks simply ground forward, easily crushing what little resistance remained.

Now the fifth missile slammed into what turned out to be the main contorl centre annd barracks for the concentration camp guards, the prisoners quicly took advantage of htis, overunning the survivors and arming themselves to the teeth with upto date parthian weaponry.
