OOC: Done. Dark Templar Scouts are always looking for stuff, this should be easy enough to find.

The Scouts had stumbled on this planet quite by accident, they had detected something on their sensors where nothing was supposed to be, they decided that was worth investigating, once they landed they saw that they had been right, the small group had discovered a great city, one would be sent back to gather an expedition, the rest would explore an see what they could find.

The one set out in a corsair, returning through the warp to the homeworld, then waiting for an audience with the conclave.

The other fifteen began to explore the city as best they could, shrouded in darkness they walked the abandoned streets, seeking any evidence of those who had lived here before.

The buildings were made of a substance which seemed to gather the solar energy and was warm to the touch as it gathered the energy to be used for energy that would be used for the buildings' still actice machines. Also the walls of the buildings were all over the walls in the city.

The fifteen continued to search the area, eventually splitting up into groups of three to study the strange devices, they did not understand what their purpose was, but they took note of everything they saw.

Within the city extremly advanced robots though many now are unacitvie as not having any commands were in stanby still waiting for the command of an Eternals, but some still work at computers and science facilites keeping tack of everything, maintaining everything, and also looking after everything recording ever change. All of the buildings still are in near perfect condition the secret of which is hidden within the city as they had all the buildings and all artificlly made substances were mixed with a unknown chemical that preseved them from age and withering.

The constructs were impressive, easily rivaling anything that the People had created, they attempted to learn more from them, but they did not respond to any known commands.

Back in the Conclave chamber the 16th Scout was explaining their discovery, the Conclave was still undecided, and sent only a pair of Templar to assist the Dark Templar in their search.

Deeper inside the city was a device that kept the atmospheric conditions and planet itself in perfect alignment as needed for the Eternals to be happy and also to sustain the planet perfectly.

They found the enviro-controls, but they were unable to change any settings, they began to grow frustrated with the wonders they found here, perhaps they should seek the previous inhabitants...

The Templar were ill prepared for an attack, but they reacted with admirable swiftness, summoning physical hallucinations to cloak them from their enemies eyes in a mass of identical beings, while the 4 Dark Templar were already hidden in their ever-present Shadow-Cloaks, rendering them invisible to all but infrared sight, they attacked with unerring accuracy, their second generation psionic blades leaping to life with a crakle of barely controlled power, then hitting the droids armor. While the Dark Templar attacked from in close, the 2 High Templar summoned kinetic bolts, slamming the droids with fists of compressed air and psychic energy.

The machine produced a map to it and said," This is in your tongue and it should guide you well to your place of destinatiom."

With eight droids down the surviors activated their shields and their movment dectors and infared vision. The droids then opened fire down upon their enemies.

The group thanked the machine, then moved out following the map, the materials here were stronger than any they had ever seen before, and they would be perfect for the next generation of fighters, but they would also be good for building homes on other worlds as well, they could finally have a place to call home with the materials here.

The weapons of the droids caused the Dark Templars shields to flare brightly, then dim slightly with each sucessive hit, while the High Templar were battered, but most of the shots hit hallucinations, destroying them and reducing the safety of the High Templar. The blades and kinetic bolts continued to pound the agressive droids, they were not sure why they had been attacked, but they would defend themselves from these enemies.

The Dark Templar were glad to have the escoert, and they hoped that the factory would acknowledge their requests as the previous machine had.

The High Templar were stunned, it spoke their tongue and it thought they were setting off an energy weapon, anyone who knew their language should be able to recognise a psychic call. "How is it that you speak our tongue and do not recognise a psychic calling, we were calling to those who had lived here in the past, any who know our tongue should be able to recognise psionics in use."

Strangely enough, a bare few hundred light-years away, an allied fleet of Eternals, Ascendants and Gaians were all in the search for this 'exact' planet and system, a very ancient and removed construct of the Ascendants, the system itself, at the time prior to the golden age of the Eternals, as at that time, the Ascendants were the teachers, such a time so far removed now, there was little memory of this other than the Universal Memory, to account upon.

The small fifty vessel fleet (when counted against the millions in the Ascendancy Sphere Alliance) was moving along empty areas of space, looking for the location of this ancient planet, lost even to the Ascendant Archives after the Ascendants ascended, as to try and find any weaknesses in the Dark Eternals, in the coming counter offensive still a decade away.

The fleet, led by the Gaian SSD Silvana kept looking, with Star Commander Sophia and Avian Lord Tranus, overseen from Lord Alex Row in command of this secret mission.

One that still had enough firepower to lay waste to entire planets. The intent was possibly seen for what it was by the Dark Eternals, and the Sphere Allies was to be prepared.

The corasair stumbled upon the search group during a pause for rest and to recharge his engines, he jumped in and he found, to his great surprise, an entire fleet waiting for him, he was not sure wether to lie low or hail them, but he would at least rest before he made any decisions.

OCC: The Eternals have a very good photographic memory.

Those ships of the Eternals were not given data of that time as the older Eternals were both happy and sad whenever they thought of that time.

Within the pitch black and gray hull of the SSD Silvana, the vessels sensors and techs within, already on a war footing for any Dark Eternal actions, noticed the arrival of the foreign vessel.

"Detecting one Cosair type starship 450,000 kilometers off fleet group starboard, 20 degrees nadir." ..a tech announces over holo-comm.

The black, silver and white feathered avian lord, a mood and color scheme suting this vessel very well, a warship with an interior that was more like an Imperium warship rather than an Ascendancy type.

The Lord Excellency liked commanders with a sense of style however, as well as ones good at their careers. The Avian Lord floated to this crew with rather ease. He offers.. "~ Maybe they have an idea where the planet we are searching for is. ~"

Commander Sophia however counters.. "We should be cautious. The planet we are looking for is too powerful to be blurted out over open comm." Row nods. "Then we shall be ginger in comments..."

OCC: No Chronosia, also everyone their are no super weapons on the planet, but possibly some very advanced technologies.

The Imperium was always searching for new worlds, new technologies; relics of dark past, or bright shining symbols of the future. It was thus that the 4th Hydran Explorary Fleet stumbled across this world; though it seemed they were far from the first.

"Prepare to launch Drop ships" The Captain's measured tone drifted across the bridge; carried by speakers to the rest of the ship, and by the glory of the God Machine, across radio waves to the other ships.

The drop ships rocketed from their moorings; even as drop pods surged forth from their siloes; plunging towards the world below.

"We shall take all that we find; we shall claim what we can for the glory of the Emperor! He who reigns beyond space and time; he who is blessed of the gods! Let all men who venerate him know glory!"

A soft laughter escaped from his lips as he glanced down at the world. This was an opportunity for him to gain prestige; he would be glorified in the Emperor's sight, he could command a battlegroup; oh the thoughts of sweet reward.

Battilions of ancient Eternal driods were made ready, these droids made of servaian and equipped with very advanced and powerful plasma staffs and plasma rifles prepared for the, if any, threat the Chronosians made agianst the preservation and safety of the city.

"I am known as Turask, Dark Templar Scout of the Shin tribe, I seek a race known as the Eternals, do you know anything of them?" He was slightly surprised that they had detected him, but not really worried, he was a Dark Templar, he culd use the cover of his Disruption web to escape if they turned out to be hostile.

The High Templar were shocked, Imperium ships, here, why, were they actively looking for this place, had they detected the call that had been sent out, or was this simple chance? No matter the reason the Homeworld had to be notified, there was danger here, and a fleet must be dispatched to counter it.

OOC: Can we try and keep this on the ground, I don't get to use ground units much, so I think it would be a good idea to keep it out of space as much as possible.

OOC: Pfft; don't listen to him. Ranged weapons don't get you anywhere, if your enemy is fanatical and sacrifices countless men just to get to you with crazed close combat troops and hack through them :P

For Example: Tau have lots of ranged units; superior firepower; but have to rely on mercenary Kroot just to have some Close COmbat strength

Good post I find that fairly funny the way you put it is both wrong yet correct in that ranged weapons can masserce them but yet if they get close they can destory them entirely.

OOC: Well, I like Necrons, so :p Necrons rock, and you just can't stop them very easily. But really, I know that you can massacre people that specialize at either melee or range, that's why I ghave grafted weapons on my Zerglings and Ultralisks, you'll never be more terrified than when you see a swarm of zerglings with bloters on their backs, followed by ultralisks with splinter cannon or Gauss flayers.

Above the forces of Chronosia were many hovering Eternal driods analzying the force of them and trying also learn and understand their tongue, all the while sending all gathered information and all anylasts were sent back to the city's central computer.

The fleet becomes a mass of Fold flattened horizontal lines agleam, the sight of such a large fleet in a coordianted jump is a sight to behold.

More amazing when they emerge at the target system seconds later, the reverse effect of the Fold to sight placing the fleet outside the lunar orbits of the target world.

Far away from the Eternals planet a fleet gathered, there were millions onbboard the vessels of this fleet, their objective was the Eternals world, these were to be the first settlers.

The Worldship moved, it translated to FTL space son after reaching the tsukyama limit, then it ran to the Forge-Worlds, it would be there a week, being mounted with Protoss Disruption cannon and various IoM, DE, Necron, and Terran weapons, then it would pull the fleet back to The Eternals world, from there it would go to the aid of the Slivers on the GE border, then it would complete its task, ferrying all of the Dark Templar that wanted to go to the Eternals world.

The Eternals were readying the world for the arrival of the new inhabitiants by building entire new cities and towns overnight. Then after building these the Eternals build for their new friends lush beuatiful gardens and in space they constructed for them space stations which would autmatically produce and harvest food without any operator.

The Eternal told the captian," I understand, but will you please answer my question as this world will be the gift of the Eternals for the hardships that you suffered in the wars against the Dark Eternals."

The Captain clears his throat and saids, "The Emperor and the Antaran Central Command would have to approve of such a decision." A Marine Sargent was already starting a sub space transmission to the high command of the Eternals offer.

The Commander and Avian Lord then leave to head back to their vessel. The Ascendancy would 'not' fail in their holy task.

The Eternal knew that in the end the Dark Eternals would have to be routed entirely for oif not untold things may well happen to the unverse that will be irreverciable, but befrore they left he had given them a sotne that blocked out the will of the Dark Eternals, but they only exisred naturally and if tried to synthesze their effects would only be tempoay.

The first series of Transports start to head towards the system.

The Worldship was armed, banks of weapons would defend those ensconced within its mighty hull, the first fleet was on its way back to the Eternals world, three more would follow, the rest would remain adrift, battling throughout the depths of space to stave off the encroaching Darkness.

After they had completed their settlement the Eternals came amogst being the most beautiful lifeforms many of them had ever seen with light and grace about them as well. There the Eternals taught them much about the billions of years of lore and history of the Eternals and taught them much about the ancient technology the Eternals had created though it was just the tinest of a percent of the full knowledge of the Eternals.

They returned the favor, teaching the eternals about the arts of the mind and of the powers that could be unlocked within the mind and body.
The Eternals learned well of the extent of the Templars powers through this though they already knew all about themselves they were very impressed of the Templars abilties and took note of them well.

The Psykers speak for the people and tell about there history and about there own styles of art and relationships with other Elder Races including the Dark Eternals and the Antarans.

The Eternals listen and rember all they hear from them and in turn tell them some of the legendary heros of the Eternals of old.

The Eternals then summoned a great feast insantly before them enough food for all of them.

The sight of the summoned food impressed the Psykers.

The Deatharon civilians join in. They do as told.

After a few hours of feasting it is night time and over the valley fireworks and Eternal tricks fill the sky of beautiful patterns and dances of light in celebration.

The Deatharon people watch the fireworks and enjoyed it. The Children were quite happy to see them.

The Dark Templar are able to learn much of the petty technologies of the Eternals, and they are very grateful for all they have been taught.

The second coloy fleet is one day away from the planet, and the first colonists would best serve their people by finding another city for them to reside in.

When at last the night was over the Eternals departed from them and returned to the palace of the Eternals in the ancient Eternal city upon the planet.

The Deatharon citizens say good bye. and head to there newly created homes. The Marine Division heads to the newly created Military barracks.

The Templar took to their beds, it would be a long day ahead of them, and they would have much work to do.

The Eternal were saddened at the day's end as to leave behind the bliss and joy of that day, but they were also enheartened and joyful as well as more people were going to settle their world the next day.

It was decided by the Imperial Council that the new citizens needed a leader to run it effectively. The idea was to send an Antaran to do this job. The Antaran Vrosh was ordered to oversee the Deatharon citizens on the Eternal planet. The Sleek Antaran Transport ship enters the system and gives the orders to the Deatharon Marines and Civilians.

The Eternals discussed tge matters of the passed day and concluded that the new inhabitants were doing well and that they would be allowed to stay.

The New Antaran commander Vrosh reviews what happened today and looks at his species records of the Eternals and Dark Eternals. It seemed the Antaran Hegemony did not have much contanct with them and thus had little info about them.

The Dark Templar passed the night in solitude, as they always did, a few were lifebonded, and stayed together through the long hours of darkness, but most stayed apart, thinking upon the events of the past day, looking for truths in the simple acts of their lives.
