For too long the Schismatics have defied Imperial Law they have ignored the not so subtle hints to convert to the one true faith. Tonight that would all end, not through conversion the time for that has passed they will experience the true power of the Empire, in only the way a conquered people can.

Across the Empire hundreds of thousands of Inquisitors, Soldiers and Police are deployed to Protestant enclaves. The Schismatics grouped together in there own communities within the cities and Belem countryside in order to insure they did not lose there faith or way of life now there plan for survival has led to there easy internment.

Imperial law forbids the owning of weapons by non citizens and only Catholics are allowed citizenship making the civilian Protestants easy targets. However unlike former crackdowns of the racially impure and those infected with AIDS, the Protestants could easily go into hiding, concealing there illegitimate faith and organizing resistance. Therefore the need for swiftness in the operation it must be completed within one night to avoid run aways.

By Midnight the forces were in place roads were blockaded and it was time to act. The signals were given and every Protestant communities power went down as Imperial forces began the raids on Churches and Houses rounding up the heretics.

By the time of midday most of the criminals all forty million of them were rounded up and being shipped off to the newly reactivated work camps, as Imperial forces searched for stragglers and runaways.

Last night the Holy Office of the Inquisition ordered the internment of the Belem Protestant population citing that good intelligence information has shown that the Schismatic communities of Belem were plotting a Pan-Protestant rebellion against the most Holy Imperial Empire of Belem and were attempting to destroy the supremacy of our One True Catholic Faith.

The Inquisition has acted swiftly and successfully in averting this heinous plot by ordering the internment of all Protestants within the Empire. Also the camps are organized on a work program, the amount of food and supplies the internees receive is based on there production output. Air bases along the coast begin the launching of nearly 500 fighters(200 F-40 Vampires Air Supramacy fighters and 300 F-42 Tiger Shark Multi Purpose Fighters) to group with an additional 100 Viper Interceptors already on CAP. They launched fighters head to a rendevouz point approximately 150 miles away from the Pscyho fleet and wait.

An Belem Freighter owned by Exotic Creatures Trading House a publicly traded Slaver Corporation is rerouted to pass by the blockading fleet.

Admiral Barkassy's primary fleet, seven ships in all, spotted a ship on radar. It was quickly identified as a freighter from a known participant in the slave trade. This ship was identified as a target of General Directive 2, allowing unwarned and unnanounced attacks on ships participating in the slave trade.

The seven ships included a small carrier, but Barkassy chose not to use it, as its propeller-driven planes would make their intentions obvious. Instead, they slowed down and set a course to 'accidently' come upon the ship to try and keep the enemy planes from instantly sinking the fleet. He also needed to be able to pick up survivors or it would be a human rights violation. The ship would be engaged as far away from Belem's shore as possible.

The fighters keep there 150 mile perimeter around the enemy fleet at a slow and high altitude cruise waiting for the preset signal to strike. The freighter is advised by Belem Coastal Forces to continue on its prescribed route and not to recognize the authority of the the intercepting fleet.

ICS Island, International Waters...

"Sir, tracking enemy launch, 900 fighters." a radar operator shouted to the ship's commanding officer.
"Order a full scall launch in retaliation. Empty out the hangars of our carriers!"

"Also, send two cruisers from the rear out to intercept that freighter."

The CO addressed other systems operators, "Prepare fleet anti-air defences! Activate CIWS systems, and INTERCEPTOR missiles. Radio back to command, we're going to need more firepower." Each order was replied with a sharp 'Aye, sir!'.

On deck, the waiting F-14Z fighters, equipped with the upgraded FIRE BIRD ATA missile began taking off. The ship's twelve catapults began launching the fighters at a frightening speed. Fighters from the four other carriers began launching as well. In all, only 700 fighters could be launched, but they would be able to handle most of the threat. The nation had always fought with the ideaology that good training was better than numbers. In the air, they held at 100 miles from the enemy flight.
Toward the back of the fleet, two cruisers peeled off on a heading to intercept the freighter attempting to run the blockade.

Coming into earshot, the lead cruiser, ICS Kanasawa used loud speakers to hail the ship attempting to run the blockade.

On the bridge, the captain ordered the forward 6 inch deck gun to be made ready for a shot across the bow. The following ship did the same.

The F-42s break from the main group and drop down to the deck as the Interceptors and the Vampires break and head to nearly 50 thousand feet. Two Pelican Air Strike Platforms(one loaded for AA operations the other loaded for sea attack) on CAP is rerouted to the general location of the Imperial fighters approx. 50 miles behind.

"Right, FIRE!" was the captain's response. The large deck gun bommed, and the shell went screaming toward the freighter, splashing in the water yards ahead of the ship's bow. He used the loudspeakers again, "Cease your movments, or you will be fired upon!"

At this, the flight broke apart into three groups. One went high, one went low, and one maintained position in case. Shadowing each group, the fighters armed their weapons, ready to take them out.

The Barkozian fleet has been ordered to speed up, but a broadcast was made by Barkassy to the Psycho fleet.


While we will not attack the freighter for lack of AA capability, we will pick up survivors as our auxiliary destroyers have cargo room for them. If that course of action is not feasible, please reply.

The merchant ship continued steaming at fullspeed as it started to zigzag to avoid further fire, as it broadcasted a distress signal on all bands stating it was under attack.

The distress signal reached the orbiting planes just as the enemy fighters began painting the perimeter targets with locks. Both signs were go codes. The highflyers turned into the path of the incoming targets and and each of the 300 fighters launched 3 Long Range Scorpion AA missiles. The missiles were fired without radar locks and each missile would individually pick its own target upon closing.

The second group of F-42s hit the deck averging 50-100 feet and go past mach headed towards the enemy fleet, to close the distance to 125 miles in order to bring Javelin AS missiles into a more effective seaskim range.

The Pelicans wait at the edge of the battle opening there massive bays preparing for missile launches.
OOC: The Pelican is a massive air transport that is actually in development in RL, its large enough to hold a boeing 747 in its bay. In this case instead of being an air transport it has been modified as a strike platform capable of holding up to 1500 missiles.

"Barkozy, we read you. Stand by." the captain radioed out. To his fire control operators, he said, "disable the craft." The deck gun boomed out, a shell flying for its propellers.

High Flight....

"Lead, Base, taking fire! We are returning...NOW!!" The lead pilot of the high formation flipped up the cover on the control stick, and pressed a button six times, one for each of the six FIRE BIRD ATA missiles held on racks beneath the plane. "Satillite uplink, good. Engines, good." The missiles had already determined their targets, and flew towards them. The fighters around him proceeded to folow the same course of action, unleashing a hail of missiles. "Incoming! Dodge and chaff!" After releasing the missiles, the fighters dodged and released chaff, creating clouds of radar reflective material to draw the incoming fire.

The low flying group, picking up on the fighting above, took the same course of action, releasing their payloads on the lower flying planes, allowing the satillite feed to guide the missiles.

In a call to arms the Commonwealth of Moorington calls on their elite paratroopers. This crack outfit of two battalion with each mild air support of 40 fighters, 10 Light Bombers, and 20 Heavy Bombers, and a battalion of Light Tanks spread between prepare to drop over Protestant Prison Camps and intercept major supply routes through out the Empire.

Deep in the waters surrounding Belem a strange craft passed making an inordiante amount of noise. the small submarine appeared to be, for all intents and purposes, a damaged hunter killer sup, limping towards some indeterminate rendezvous, traling bubbles and emitting oddly off key engine sounds. A scant nautical mile behind trailed two sleek submarines, clearly in perfect condition and emitting virtually no noise, these two Hunter killers had their sonar and other passive sensors active. listenign to the sound of the damaged sub, waiting.

Deep in the waters surrounding Belem a strange craft passed making an inordiante amount of noise. the small submarine appeared to be, for all intents and purposes, a damaged hunter killer sup, limping towards some indeterminate rendezvous, traling bubbles and emitting oddly off key engine sounds. The F-40s break formation deploying counter measures and engaging in evasive manuervs. Though the sheer amount of missiles has brought down over 180 aircraft most of the pilots managed to succesfully eject before impact. The remaining 120 pull back towards the coast.

Attack against the Pelicans

The Pelicans CIWS defensives were no match for the massive amount of missiles directed towards it. As the missiles approached from nearly hundred miles away the Pelicans begin the launch of as many missiles as possible.

The first Pelican launches 400 Scorpion Long Range AA missiles on fire and forget mode.
The second Pelican manages to launch 500 Javelin Extended Range Anti Shipping missiles 300 are targetted against the enemy fleet on sea skim mode and the other 200 on High Attack.

Specs on Javelin extended range:
Warhead: 100 pound silicone composite warhead(4x as strong as conventional explosives so its the equivelent of a 400 pound warhead)
Max Range: 300 miles sea skim range, 500-600 High Altitude attack. Weather dependant.
Speed: Mach 3-4 Sea Skim attack mode. Mach 5 High Altitude attack. On high altitude attack the missile cruises to its target at 15 thousand feet before diving in at a 45 degree angle against the ships.

The Pelican crews direct the aircraft to crash into the ocean as the missiles barrel down on them in an attempt to spare the 250 million dollar aircraft from complete destruction as the 30 man crews begin bailing out.

The Tiger Sharks hit the afterburners as the missiles are detected heading towards them, deploying countermeasures the fighters use there low altitude to confuse the satelite targetted missiles resulting in only 120 aircraft being taken out. The remaining 260 fire a total of 460 Javelin Missiles(all sea skim) at the enemy fleet 125 miles away

The Air launch missiles have half the range of the Extended Range missiles
Sea Skim max range is 150 and High Altitude is 300.

Remember you are still a small nation, incapable of moving powerful nations. You should participate in other forums in active debates and convos, also do some things that can improve relations with fellow nations aside from creating alliances. No big nation will take heed of smaller nations like you at the moment unless they need to annex you. So here is a few types of topics I could recommend

1. State your ideology topic: You can accomplish this by creating an event such as say, executing some group of people to promote ideologys or to show your power.

2.Storefronts, do a bit of math and such and make storefronts, sell or make new weapons and products, the MT market seems to be appealed by this trade.

3. Parties and visits, invite small or medium sized nations to a bit of feasting and such, and if you want to spice it up, add a few hitmen who want your leaders dead just before the deserts are served.

Here are topics I dont recommend

1.War topics with absolutely no preparation, Suddenly trying annex something for whatever reason is a not so bright idea. No nation is going to respect you for that and try to not use smilies, especially the gun ones which will destroy any credibility you have left.

2.Nuking someone or amassing WMDs, no small nation should start exprimenting with nukes, remeber a well developed nation can research and use nukes more effectively then a small nation who has a struggling economy.

3.War on the UN or the world/big nations, should I explain more?

In light of the continued antipathy shown by belem we have authroized additional forces tot he theater including an amphibious battle group. Additionally Belem has Twenty Four hours to make signifigant progress in Extraditing Cesanian and other foreign nationals before the matter is taken from your hands.

The Personal propulsion units were little more than tubes with smoothed down boxes for power. They were almost perfectly silent though because of the addition of a small black box which measured the already minimal sound produced and emitted precise counter sound waves to further silence the small propusion units. another black box was attached to the soldiers re breathers to minimize the sound produced there, all in all the four soldiers produced little more noise than the waves as they slowl advanced towards the shore. the four soldiers were elite Mondothian J-force special operatives assigned the task of an initial ground survey for the possibility of an invasion.

General information about Coastal Defense Network: Most of the coastline is covered by the Belem Defense Wall which was a 20 year project costing over two trillion to build a wall across Belem(all of which is well documented in previous RPs.) The wall consists of artillery batteries, missiles and radar installations including anti stealth radar, and also machine gun nests and firing positions for infantry soldiers.
Most beaches are mined and covered in barb wire and dragons teeth except for noted public beaches though the wall still covers those areas with military patrols guarding the expanses of beach.

A Active Sonar and MAD grid is operated approx. 15-20 miles off the coast and 5-10 miles off the coast are naval mines, these are however absent on shipping routes in order to prevent accidents.

OOC: Very intersting, MAD won't pick up my insurgents, and Sonar would bevery difficult (more so than finding a Boomer in serious 'lurk' mode) as for shore defenses. it would be simple to sink and disguise the divign gear and then come in to shore like nothing in the world except some recreational swimmers. Their doing recon, no weapons required, just some eyes. given the situation, the obvious approach is through a shipping lane until the nearest point to a public beach, sink and conceal the diving gear just out from shore (camoflauged coverings with weights can be used for both purposes at once) and then stroke to shore like recreational swimmers, a false passport or other proof of citizenship can easily be carried if necesary.

Following the assault on the Pelicans, the flight tried several evassive meneuvers to try to get rid of the missiles, including spending their remaining missiles. However, it was to no profit, and only ten fighters remained to limp home.

8th Fleet...

"Commander! Massive missile launch directed at us!" the radar op. shouted.
"Son of a____! Direct the cruisers to intercept! Order the activation of all CIWS and countermeasures!" the commanding officer yelled.

Out side, the remaining 28 cruisers, who had already been in the quadrant facing the engagment, formed up in a wall. Underneath, pontoons inflated, allowing them to stay afloat, should they be hit. As the missiles closed, they activated their 75mm CIWS systems, sending out a hail of shells, each tipped with a small explosive charge. At the same time, the larger ships behind this defensive screen launched a counter barrage of INTERCEPTOR missiles, designed like the PATRIOT system, but for normal missiles. These missiles, launched in rapid succession, were aimed mostly for the higher missiles that would fly above the CIWS's from the cruisers. Despite the counter measures, the entire wall of cruisers was quickly decimated. Because of the pontoons inflated mere minutes before, the flaming hulls remained on the surface, immobile and useless except as shields. The high missiles took large losses as well, but enough made it through to sink 3 of the battleships and take out the decks of 2 carriers.

As the assault ended, the missile tubes on the battleships and carriers were reloaded with TOMAHAWK cruise missiles, which were targeted at the air bases on the shore. A volley of 500 missiles were fired off into the darkening night.

CIWS guns and Broadbeam Lasers light up as the missiles are detected swatting the subsonic missiles from the sky, allowing only 75 to get past defenses. The misisles that do break through succeed in the destruction of some hangers and runways and 3 seperate bases.

From ground based missile launchers across the Coastal Defense grid 600 Javelin Extended Range missiles are launched at the Psycho fleet once again half are directed on high attack mode and the other half on sea skim mode

Kelly expertly removed the cover of the GPS system with the small screw driver that came in the same water proof bag as the computer chip he replaced wiith the one fond in the GPS itself. GPS units were designed to give innacurate readings to civilians, soemtimes as much as 200 feet. with a PSY/Vi chip however, the unit could display positions logged off of Mondothian satelites with Military accuracy, accuracy that would be needed if the plan were to succeed. International Waters...

The rendevous of the limping 8th Fleet with 7th, 6th, 5th Surface, and 9th Submerged Fleets Was taking place as the Javelins came in. These fleets were able to use missile tubes that were pre-loaded with INTERCEPTOR missiles to intercept most of the incoming missiles. Many got through. The flaming wrecks of the old cruisers were again used as shields. This time, they had no functional CIWS systems, and other cruisers were unable to be called up. The main capitol ships had to provide their own support. It was costly. All 28 wrecks were decimated, 5 battleships went up, and 2 carriers went down.

OOC:public transportation is basically the same as it is in the U.S. anything local is easy to go on once you start going long distance you have to show I.D. when purchasing a ticket. Local would be conisidered anything within a city to another part of the city or a cities surburbs to the city.

IC: Two Seahawk Helicopters head to the location of the disturbance deploying detection gear around the perimeter of the sub and attempt to close in on its location while it remains inside Belem waters.

The team made the remaining necesary purchases over a few days, backpacks, walking shoes, trail food and the like, staying mostly in the kind of motels that abounded in beach cities, little one bedroom places where the plumbing didn't always work and the management didn't much care what you did as long as the police didn't come. a week after they had arrived they were ready, Kelly went and bought two cloned phone accounts and the set off. taking public transportation as much as possible they made their way to the out skirts and started hiking, once far enough out of town they began searching , taking occasional measurements from GPS and laser range finder, measuring clearings and trees and land features, finding a suitable clearing for the next phase they began working they're way back towards the wall taking all sorts of readings and calling them in on their phones, measuring and phoning until they reached the wall, and then they hiked back to the clearing and waited.

While the Swift was foundering another, deadly quiet submarine was probing a lot closer, just out of range of the sonars focused against the Swift this sub faded in, lingered for a minute or two and then just as silently left, another sub elsewhere did the same thing, sliding blackly in just barely out of range and then backing quietly out. and then the sea was silent, the Swift shut down engines completely and drifted quietly its crew veritably holding their collective breath trying to remain undetected.

After a few days when scattered reports came in about suspicious persons monitoring coastal defense sections, patrols were on alert with more intent scaning the interior of the country.

After another two days an alert sentry spots a group of men scanning the wall with binoculars, he immediately calls it in being that Belem is in a de facto state of war.

Within five minutes two humvees make there way towards the group of "hikers" as they come in range a loudspeaker comes on stating "Do not move. Stay where you are by order of the Imperial Army"

OOC: What kind of cargo inspection are you going to do at sea, due to the way COntainer ships stack their freight, most security checks are done on shore while the cargo is being offloaded.

ooc: they scan the containers with bomb sniffers and sniffers designed to detect radiological agents and chemical and biological weapons. They also check the ships logs.

There were more than just 4 bombers. Five had launched. One turned back. That leaves four continuing on.

The drone still deployed pulled the missiles away, but there was nothing they could do about the cannons. All of the remaining bombers took damage from the cannons, specifically along the back of the wings and fuselage. NOne of the damage, however, was serious. Waiting for the enemy to decend behind them, the tail guns ejected 50mm 'air mines'. These detonated in front of the passing jets, releasing a giant cloud of shrapnel. To ensure that they got their attackers, the bombers each launched 2 missiles 'over the shoulder' at the fighters behind them, fortunatly, satellite targeting was back to full capacity.

Now coming within 50 miles of the shore line, one of the bombers opened its main bay, and dropped 3 of the WOLVERINE cruise missiles. These three skimmed along the ocean surface at an average of 5 feet until they reached the shore, where they fanned out, dropping their payloads on AAA and SAM, and then kamikazing into additional ones. (Basically 12 bombs).

Overhead, the attack satellites that had been called in moved into targeting range. They lined up all shore defenses in range of the bombers, and fired tungestung rods of 2 foot diameter at them. By the time they entered into the atmosphere, they were travelling 28 times the speed of sound.

ooc1: Im going to have to call a godmod on the airmines since the idea itself is impratical considering the tailgun on a B-52 I believe is only 20mm. Also if gun was actually ejected it would destroy the stability of the aircraft. But the main reason is I specifically stated my fighters are avoiding the tail section of the plane.

ooc2: how long are the rods that will help my damage estimate.

IC: CIWS guns and lasers deploy opening fire on the incoming missiles. Because of the small number they are easilly able to knock 9 of them out. The remaining three hit the wall destroy 2 Steel Wall CIWS guns and 1 Javelin launcher.

The fighters continue strafing the bombers after they launched there missiles attempting to down them, and hopefully being able to capture the crews.

Attack against the fleet:

Coastal Defenses in range of the Psychos fleet once again are given orders to launch against the enemy force this time to test the remaining strenght of the fleet. 150 Javelins missiles(seaskim mode) are launched against the fleets screening ships(perimeter ships.)

Following the orbital bombardment eight additional Vipers are launched with sat killer missiles they head to there maximum ceiling before deploying the eight missiles whose primary targets are the orbital bombardment satelites and secondary targets are targetting satelites.

Within an hour of the attack a Hundred B-52s loaded with Incidienary bombs(double the amount used in the Dresdan bombings), 2 Pelican Strike Platforms and 75 Vampires are launched the flight meet up over central Belem and head towards Pschycotic Pschycos there target is a medium size port city that could be considered lightly defended. The Pelicans use there Radar and Electronic Warfare suites to jam out known Pschyo radio and radar frequencies.

Today five Cessanian Spies confessed to the Holy Office of the Inquisition that they were involved in a plot with Protestant sympathizers to overthrow the Emperor. The Inquisition has released the tape confession of the prisoners:

All PP fleets dock in the interior of the nation, and the Royal PRussian Navy docks on an island in the ocean, but don't attack that. The nation is only open to the water on the eastern side.

Then, they began their attack. Several boomers in the back of the fleet used SLBM's, with conventional, concussion warheads to clear a path in the naval mines, the resulting shock wave setting off their concusion fuses. Subs out ahead of them, the fleet moved into cannon range. Using a broadside strategy, the large battleships, now numbering 50, began shooting volleys of 20" shells. (18 cannons [not turrets, individual barrels] per ship). They targetted remaining sea wall defenses.

IC: The troops on the section of the wall under bombardment hunker down in bunkers and the more entrenched/fortified areas on the Defense Network waiting for the bombardment to end as forces in the other section wall and deeper inside Belem prepare for a counter attack.

The first round of Resistance comes from the new sections of the wall that the fleet comes in range of with the launch of 400 Javelin missiles directed at the bombarding ship in seaskim mode.

The rest of the Imperial Military machine sets into motion for a full scale reprisal against the enemy fleet designed to wipe out the force in one fell swoop. Two EMP Satelites are prepared to detonate over the Fleet as the rest of the forces move in.


The Imperial Fleet which stayed around the perimeter of the battles now starts steaming into missile range of the enemy fleet, launching its full contigent of fighters for CAP a total of 320 fighter(half vampire, half tiger shark) and 8 Awacs running jamming systems. The fighters hold position out of range of enemy AA

500 Mosquito Fighters flown by the Air guard of the Belem Defense Militia are launched from bases across the Belem. They are small, cheap but quick interceptor aircraft designed to overwhelm defenses. 400 Vampires and 400 tiger sharks are launched and begin linking up with the Mosquito squadrons. 4 Pelicans holds position 300 miles inside Belem provide extra jamming for missiles and wait to deploy there extended range missiles while staying outside of Psycho attack range.

The forces begin converging on the enemy force with an engagement time of one hour.

OOC: I only did the one check near the wall, the rest were on the path for the overflight. and speaking of the overflight, I thought that Maritime was transporting but Cesania would actually do the flight itself...

Taking a step further, the THOR missile satellites converge over Belem's capitol. both unload their compliment of 10 missiles. Then, motorized gears activate, deploying a reentry shield. With them in place, they reenter the atmosphere over Belem's capitol.

The SDI grid immediately detects the launch and satelitles begin firing lasers to defeat the threat, of course since there are no warheads on the missiles the Sats prove ineffective though they do provide some success against the satelites themselves. On the ground nearly 600 ABMs and Kraken Air Defense Missiles are launched as air raid sirens are sounded.

8 of the 20 Rods and both satelites are taken out of the sky by the massive barrage of missiles. The remaining twelve succeed in causing heavy damage to half a dozen high rise buildings(killing thousands) destroying portions of a subway station and take outs power to parts of the city.

Imperial Forces are given there go codes and the first attack of the day comes from the EMP sats which active thrusters and come diving into the atmosphere. At a predetermined altitude in low orbit they both detonate over the Psycho fleet fleet distrubuting an EM Pulse across as much of the fleet as possible. Even if the ships were EMP protected the high powered blast would still disrupt ships sensors and electronics forcing the systems to recalibrate automatically stealing precious seconds possibily minutes of the crews time.

As the pilots detect the Burst they engage afterburners and hightail it towards the fleet aided by the jamming of the Psycho Radar frequencies they would enter into attack range in under 10 minutes just as the missiles were about to hit....

The Fleet and the Pelicans were ordered to launch most of there payloads to annilhate the enemy force in one fell swoop. The Missile ships are the first to begin the launching sequence having nearly 500 missiles ready to launch. The 4 missile ships each launch 400 missiles apiece. If thats the case they would detonate deeper inside the atmosphere then.

That also raises the problem of keeping them in orbit. To bring it down low enough, you'd risk entering the atmosphere, losing your satellite before you could use it. Plus, an EMP of that scale is nearly future tech.

Though it did take a few seconds for the systems to reboot (power was unaffected due to extenssive shielding of reactors), manual overrides were employed to begin anti-missile defenses. The handover back to computers went smoothly, and everything worked well. The CIWS's took out many of the missiles, as did interceptor missiles expended by the capitol ships. An additional 25 cruisers were totalled, as were 8 battleships and 4 carriers. One of which, didn't exactly go down. One of the missiles that struck it detonated, damaging cooling pumps for the nuclear reactors of the vessel. The carrier broke off from the main group, and steamed for the enemy fleet. Once out of range of friendlies, and in range of the opponents, crews withdrew control rods, allowing the reactors to overheat...and detonate.

ooc: They are one shot weapons, the actual weapon part is designed to withstand as much of reentry as possible for it to detonate in a good 20-60 mile burst. its basically modern tech. Sypposedly its possible to build a small EMP device for a couple hundred dollars with a 20 yard radius.

The fighters enter the 75 mile mark between them and the fleet. The tiger sharks launch there full payloads of 8 Javelins apiece at the fleet. the 3,200 missiles were divided into 75% high attack and 25% seaskim taking advantage of the fact they enemy fleet launched most of the air interceptors.

The Air group from the carriers launch there payloads(160 Tiger Sharks with 8 missiles again) at the fleet from the Northwest(75% 25%). One pilot notices the limping carrier attempting to escape the battle and targets all eight of his missiles at the ship in seaskim mode.

The Vampires stay up high providing for defense against any air threat. As the 500 mosquitos started diving down on PP Ships in strafing runs using there quad 20mm cannons on strafing runs against the perimeter ships.

It was impossible to hide such a large flight of bombers and long range satelites easilly picked up the bomber group and its escorts. Defensive plans are immediately fabricated for a 400 mile intercept point with as many fighters availible. BDM Air Guard units were put on High Alert with 2,000 mosquitos across coast prepared to launched there primary purpose would be to overwhelm the enemy force and head straight for the bombers using there limited missile supply(they only carry 4 missiles) and there cannons. An additional 400 Vampires would provide support both from Air Force and Navy Stock as well as 400 Viper Interceptors. Squadrons(120 planes) of Vulcan Fighters were ordered on alert flown by Elite Inquisition Pilots the Vulcans were designed to be extremely high altitude and fast so they could escort Hypersoar bombers on long range missions.

In the rear two Pelicans were prepared as a last line of defense with a heavy anti air load out and fuel permitting two of the already airborne pelicans would also provide support.

Pilots were briefed to launch there missile with direct radar uplink from the aircraft to minimize the effects of the enemy counter measures.

Using their supply ships to haul aboard supplies as fast as they use them, the big ships continue to pump off rounds of INTERCEPTOR's. Again, losses began to toll. Unfortunatly, RPN ships in the area were sunk, their crews comprising of members of the Greater Prussian Region. All in all, 3 carriers and 5 battleships were lost, along with almost 20 cruisers. To compensate for the loss of ships, DD(X) destroyers were brought in, along with the remaining Imperial Navy. The DD(X) destroyers would be in range soon.

As the mosquitoes came in, scores upon scores of flak cannons, primarily 20mm and 40mm as CIWS was still taking out missiles, opened fire on the incoming fighters. Soon, the sky was filled with clouds of smoke and shrapnel as the guns erupted. Some of the ships switched over to HARPOON anti-shipping missiles to attack the enemy fleet, nearly 500 were launched.

I am fully aware of the time it will take. However, DD(X) destroyers have an effective range of over 500 miles. Total ships thus far are some 30 carriers, 60 battleships, 75 cruisers, and hundreds of supply ships. I'm also fully aware of the time it takes to offload supplies, and have compensated for that, allowing missiles to be loaded right to the launchers. My crews and sailors are the best trained and disciplined in the entire region, if not further.

The two Kojak class electronic warfare ships looked very similiar to the Barrier class ships they purpoted themselve to be, built on the same hull, the same number of Radar domes and nodes, in these two ships particularly the small difference in superstructure had been covered by clever wooden and fiberglass fairings making the ship indistinguishable from Barriers. fake CIWS systems had also been added to achieve the effect as well as the addittion of VLS caps on the rear deck to simulate the anti missile missile battery of a Barrier. The ships had escorted the Maritime federation ship until it had reached Belem waters, to avoid a confrontation they had turned off and were shadowing the "Petals of Promise" in international waters. As the ship passed the point where the Mondothian Spec ops team had designated the two Kojaks turned in, having scanned continuosly for transmissions of any kind. now having a comprehensive understanding of Belemian radar and Lidar/Ladar detection systems (as they were operating at the time) they activated their jamming systems, beaming Gigawatts of RF energy at radar transmitters and flashing LIADR/LADAR arrays with wide frequency high intensity lasers. at intervals along the Belem sovereign water/international water border modified Shadow class SSGN's with comprehensive ECM suites were doing the same thing, strobing the Belem shore defenses with all sorts of energy to disrupt their detection systems and famed Anti Stealth Radar. Not wanting to waste what might be the one time Belemian radar coverage would be interrupted for a while, a B-5 strategic stealth bomber with SX-24 stealth strike fighter escort smoked in under the cover of jamming, at low altitude the small number of stealth aircraft popped up just before reaching the target, a Belem Naval base, the plan was to drop 60,000 pounds of high explosive on the ships and facilities (particularly the facilities) and ghost out remaining under the cover of heavy jamming the whole time.

OOC: Mondoth, a while back, I had a civil war RP. I brought one down on myself. This situation is no different. It's not that genius of a concept.

The VH-112 stealth transport helicopter was loaded to max capacity, with extra fuel, equipment, weapons for the two AH-230 stealth light attack helicopters as well as 12 heavily armed highly trained special operations soldiers. despite the crowded conditions the soldiers settled in as comfortably as possible. it was time. Several members of the ships crew were walking on the cargo containers doing a routine 'inspection' talking into their radios they reported a 'possible cargo shift' and decided to check it out, prying the lids off of six containers and carefully moving them aside, it was then that the Mondothian Jamming operations beganand the thre helicopters unfurled rotors and lifted off quickly. immediately dropping to mere feet above sea level the choppers roared over the ocean, as they hit the wall they jumped over it and dropped to terrain follwing using the information generated by the Mondothian agents. to avoid detection the helicopters all cooled their exhaaust, had LCD camoflauge that matched atmospheric and lighting conditions as closely as possible and used six bladed rotors to minimize noise as well as RAM composite construction and faceted airframe to avoid radar detection. a few minutes after 'jumping the wall' the VH-112 'shadow bird' flared expertly and dropped into the clearing where the Mondothian agentswere camping, picking them up without even touching the ground the helicopter was up in the air and again darting away with the two AH-230 'night prowler' attack helicopters in tow. Avoiding populated area the helicopters stayed as close to ground as possible and made their way toward coldgate prison, setting down in a heavily wooded area a few hours later for refueling and to plan the next leg that would end just outside visual range of Coldgate.

The Radar Crews responded as they were trained to, the started alternating the frequencies of the affected sites while boosting power to more conventional systems. For the first time in the conflict they activated ADT or Air Disturbance Technology Radar an anti stealth radar designed to work at short range up to 100 miles weather permitting and depending on altitude the higher the flights were the easier they were to detect.

As the bomber dramatically increased altitude to enter attack mode the ADT got a hit. Radar and Sam operators order the launch of eight Kraken missiles on dual tracking of Radar with ADT activated and Thermal signatures on the bogey.

Before the CIWS guns can come to bear and fire they lose track of the choppers. ooc2: I assume my Vipers took down the remaining targetting sats over the area.

IC: The Armada passed the 400 mile mark and making sure to fly with the sun at there backs to distort visual sightings. As the first radar dots of the enemy craft came in at 100 miles(500 off the coast.) The Vampire fighters were loaded down fully with 16 missiles using there external hardpoints(rarely used.) The aircraft whos frequencies werent jammed relayed there radar information back to the Pelicans and the Pelicans relayed it back to the jammed aircraft using the Belem Defense Network.

The Vampires were first to fire launching the 4 external Scorpions and two internals on there wings to lose the excess weight and return them to full combat effectiveness. The 1,600 missiles were being directed by the Aircrafts radar if it was functioning and the massive radar systems on the Pelicans towards the leading fighters. They were followed by an additional 4 Missiles coming from the Vipers bringing the total up to 4,000. Half the Mosquitos were armed with cylinders of dumbfire rockets to be used against the bombers and the other half armed with four scorpions. The Scorpion armed ones are given the order to each launch 2. In the span of a few minutes 6,000 missiles are hurling towards the PP air group.

The Massive group engage afterburners and begin speeding towards the enemy group as the Four Pelicans continued there Jamming and Counter Jamming operations orbiting the battlefield out of missile range.

The 120 Vulcans glide over the area at 100,000 feet there orders are not to engage until they are needed or the Pelicans are threatened.

Attack on the Fleet

The fleet finished reloading there missiles and prepared for a second firing as the reloaded aircraft from both the mainland and fleet came back onto station. A full weapons free status was given and as many missiles were to be launched though still retaining some onboard in case of retailatory attack.

The Small Fibreglass PT boats were given there authorization codes and they sped up to speed approaching 45 knots heading directly towards the PP fleet from the South.

The Fleet commences full launching of as many weapons as possible. Sending 5,000 Javelins at the force (75% sea skim) from the Northeast. The fighters from the fleet launch an additional 1,280 from the East. As fighters from land bases in the West launch 1,600 at the fleet.

Ground Installations from North and South add in there own 400 apiece have the attack come from all directions.

As the missiles came in, the bombers deployed their drones again, pulling tons of the missiles away from the airgroup. The fighters returned fire, filling the air with another 6000 missiles, all heading the opposite way. Many missiles got through, but due to double and triple targetting, only 80 fighters were brought down. Also, due to the protective arrangement of fighters, no bombers were lost, fighter pilots sacrificing themselves for the bombers.

The twelve RD-07 type 'Silent Crow' surveilance drones were not so much invisible to radar as they were invisible to the operators of radars, their RCS was roughly on par with some carrion bird, as was their flight pattersm endlessly circling on thermal currents that may or may not exists, challengin any radar to classify them as a target. The drones were easily deployed from thedeck of one of the ECM ships that had 'escorted' the 'Petals of Promise' into Belem waters. the drones were cooled to the ambient temperature of their surroundings preventing IR targtting even by the 'whole' that most cooled aircraft form. A terrible mistake was made by our former Propaganda Chief who has since been relieved of his post(Propaganda Chief Decree #7). He mistook our pro-Catholic policy as an anti-protestant one.

As the missiles came in, the bombers deployed their drones again, pulling tons of the missiles away from the airgroup. The fighters returned fire, filling the air with another 6000 missiles, all heading the opposite way. Many missiles got through, but due to double and triple targetting, only 80 fighters were brought down. Also, due to the protective arrangement of fighters, no bombers were lost, fighter pilots sacrificing themselves for the bombers.

ooc: they were being directed by the Pelicans computer suite purposely to counter attack the drones.

The twelve RD-07 type 'Silent Crow' surveilance drones were not so much invisible to radar as they were invisible to the operators of radars, their RCS was roughly on par with some carrion bird, as was their flight pattersm endlessly circling on thermal currents that may or may not exists, challengin any radar to classify them as a target. The drones were easily deployed from thedeck of one of the ECM ships that had 'escorted' the 'Petals of Promise' into Belem waters. the drones were cooled to the ambient temperature of their surroundings preventing IR targtting even by the 'whole' that most cooled aircraft form. They produced no noise that could be heard from wherever they were lingering and used LCD tecnology to blend into the background of the sky. OOC: ok that is complete BS. First off you never posted them going into High Orbit and I posted repeadetly that my Vulcans were doing anti air operations against your attack sats in the area.
Second how do you move out of range of the missiles when your fleet is surrounded from all sides and the missiles are going in speeds of excess 1,500 miles per hour compared to ships going 40 miles.
Also suddenly you have am EMP satelite(which you previously claimed to be future tech) just arrives out of nowhere and starts doing "super bursts"
About the only thing semi right with your post is attacking the PT boats.

Yeah, Psycho lives up to his names, Carriers and Battleships are capital ships, my fleets are arranged as 2 battleships, 3 carriers, lolhueg number of cruisers, destroyers, corvettes, escort crusiers, frigates, supplyships, etc.

Don't worry, Teutonburg, you'll get the hang of RP'ing eventually. And I've found that my fleet system works surprisingly well. Also, you can make a B-52 stealthy, the same way you make any other airframe stealthy. I'm agreeing with Leafanistan, let's go get something tall and strong, make it a hurricane before I go insane!

ooc: it depends on the design of the delivery platforms. My Platforms are designed for massive strike output hence the reason for the Pelicans. And considering my fleet has about 166 Capital ships and most primary offensive weapons are missiles the large number of missiles is reasonable. Using a low average of 32 missiles per ship(on most ships its higher but I rounded down, to keep missiles in reserve and to avoid criss crossing arcs of fire to minimize mid air collisions) it would be possible to launch 4,900 missiles total in probably 10-15 minutes with 5 seconds between each launch on one ship(which is reasonable estimate because multi batteries could be fired at once.) The numbers were high but it was because they were needed in the situation.
I would of prefered to use less because obviously then my military is spending more money and they need more time to resupply and perform general repairs on the ships systems afterwards.

OOC: There looks to my eyes to be lots of missile wanking going on.
BTW: how exactly do you make the largest bomber in the world stealthy, it'd be cheaper just to buy a pair of B-2's. and capitol ship fleets are useless, its not that its a stupid idea (which it is) but capiol ships canot physically operate alone, you need to have at least a basic infrastructure of supply ships, patrol boats and 'tin cans' (destroyers and cruisers) to keep the fleet moving and to defend against even the most basic attack.

IC: The helicpoters took off scnat hours after they landed, having refueld and redistrubeted cargo the three 'copters continued their journey towards coldgate prison. Pointedly avoiding civilisation an staying below treelines and ridges as much as possible, using their passive radar suite to identify radar positions before enough return was generated for a possible detection. This leg of the flight would take them all the way to just out of visual range of the prison where the sniper teams would be dropped off and a base of operations established. The snipers would continue on foot towards the prison itself and scout the outside of the facility from concealment.

Up and down the coast hundreds of PT boats could be seen between 15-30 miles off the coast providing forward warning against incoming seaborne threats and to investigate any illegal breaches of the Active Sonar grid. Around the primary shipping lanes heading into the cities theres a greater concentration of PT boats providing the main force behind the search of all boats coming into the Empire.

On other portions of the coast Tracker ASW and Shield AA ships conduct patrols escorted by Destroyers.

9th Fleet the primary fleet dedicated to the Defense of the Belem coast is heading southwards 300 miles offshore broken up into four taskforces. The fleet just past Imperial Center(central Belem) and theres atleast a 20 mile difference between each taskforce.

Seeing the fleet mobilisations the Commanders of the two EW ships decided to write the drones off, leaving them in place for as long as possible to continue getting intel from them the pair of EW ships turned on full thrust and sped off back towards the main Mondothian task force. Which was already setting up for battle.

OOC Info on the Prison:

The Prison itself is on a rocky barren hill with one road leading to and fro. The areas is clear for half a mile around the prison to make it easier to track escape attempts. There are 6 towers(one on each corner and two by the gatehouse.)
Each tower has 4 guards who are armed with a mix of assault rifles and sniper rifles(plus sidearms), and regular body armor loads they arent dressed in the full encompasing body suit that combat soldiers wear but they do wear bulletproof vests, helmets and carry gasmasks(in case tear gas is deployed.) The guards monitor the yard and the area directly surrounding the yard through a mix of cameras(including a few thermals), visual sight inspections and a few strategically placed motion sensors.
The guards are equipped with NVG/Thermal goggles but they are seldom used. Two more guards are positioned by the gatehouse to manage the comings and goings they have the same equipment as the other guards except they carry MP5s.
Four patrols of two walk the walls and yard with attack dogs. They are outfitted with the same weapons as the gatehouse guards.

The Helicopter is currently not in the yard.

Secret IC: The Entryhall to the Prison has three Inquisitors monitoring the front desk. They are usually outfitted just with fatigues and a light bulletproof vest underneath. They are issued MP5 PDW(the small ones) but usually dont brandish them and keep them behind the desks. Sidearms are always present as they are part of the uniform.

During the night shift the central control room which has five guards monitoring all the cameras and other security features of the prison including remote controlled doors and teargas deployers. Same outfitting as the entry guards and the actual prison guards. On call with them is a five man riot team equipped with heavy weapons, riot shields and combat suits.

There are three guards stationed in a mini control room as block watchers. Positioned between the cell blocks they organize the actual patrols of the cell blocks which is a total of twenty guards in groups of two on patrols through the prison.

In addition there would be 20-30 non guard staff on duty at this hour.

Since the prison is technically a military base lodging is accorded to the guards but most live off the grounds of the prison, either in Imperial Center or a nearby base. As of tonight no guards are sleeping in.

The snipers stayed out of sight at the edge of the cleared area, creeping along the ground in full Ghillie suitswhich incorporated a small colling system both for the Snipers comfort (a comfortable sniper is an accurate sniper) and to minimize Thermal signature. Getting in position close to noon the snipers observed the rotations on the towers and the guards general disposition. By six they had gathered enough information and it was time to begin final preparations. The helicopters were topped off and the remaining fuel was left in containers at the camp. Weapons were checked and loaded and Helicopter crews went through comprehensive checks. as the sun began creeping below the horizon the helicopters lifted off. The two 'Night Prowlers' arrive first, using Rimfire Laser Guided missiles the helicopters first move is against the towers, following up the missile strike with the chin turret chain guns the sweep fire along the walls and grounds before settling into a loiter. From this point the Secial Forces troopers know they have to move fast. The 'Shadow Bird' transport helicopter arrives and lands at the helipad releasing the soldiers who run towards the main door. Preceeding the soldiers into the first room is a pair of FlashBang grenades. following the grenades detonation, the ten men of the actual assault team move in prepared to subdue anybody they find.
