Haries was running through the tunnel. Now that his eyes had properly adjusted, he could see that he was running through some sewers. Well, better than nothing he thought to himself, and kept on moving. He was running still because, even though no-one was following him, they might actually know where the tunnel lead. He had to get out before they caught him, and the only way was forward. Despite running, he was still very quiet, and checked every corner before he turned it. It was better to be safe than sorry.

OOC: If anyone is wondering about Talion and Paleneus, they are still sitting around waiting. They heard the explosion, but just assumed it was someone else fighting. They haven't received any radio transmissions as Haries is trying to be as stealthy as possible, and they know not to disturb him unless it is very important. They're just waiting until Haries comes to find them.

The Executioner shook his head vigourously, trying to get rid of the daze he was in. He looked around surveying the situation. Rafael and Nunez were on their feet, the former brushing dust from his cloak, and the latter trying to haul the chunk of rubble from Ramirez's legs. The Guard sniper groaned slightly as the Marine finally heaved the rock off him, but was soon on his feet, looking slightly dizzy but otherwise fine. Dukov was on his feet, surveying the remains of the bunker. He motioned to the others to go to him. The Executioner hauled himself to his feet and went over to join the rest of the group. They could see the twisted remains of a trapdoor beneath several large boulders. "No way we can budge that," Dukov commented. Rafael nodded, "Who - or what -ever was in here went down that hole. They have escaped us for now, we must return to the town. We move, now." He turned and began to run, the rest followed, some more reluctantly than others. They were on the hunt again, the Chaos would not get away.
OOC: Guard sniper, is that one of my men? There all in the sewers away from the manhole.

OOC: Nope, Ramirez is the Guard sniper. Rafael is the Inquisitor, Nunez is the Marine, Dukov is the Guardsman and the Executioner is, well, the Executioner. :D All clear now? Apologies for the confusion, I just don't like repeating a person's name too many times in one paragraph.

IC: The group reached the relative safety of the buildings again, entering a block of high rise apartments on the outskirts. They quickly made for the roof, where Rafael stopped to give them all a briefing of his plans. "OK, listen closely, I say this only once. This building is the location we are going to use to make a stand against forces on the planet. It gives us a view of a large proportion of the town, as well as easy access to the forest behind. This is what we have to do:

Ramirez, set yourself up here. I want you to wait for an opportunity to fire on the Orks. Aim to kill or maim. I want you to bring them to us.

Dukov, go searching for the Tau. Try to bring them to this building as well, use lethal force if need be.

Nunez, you will bring me the Tyranids. They will jump at the chance to try and kill a Space Marine, lure them here.

Executioner, you must find the Chaos, and make them follow you here. Be cautious, they are potentially the most dangerous of our enemies.

I will find the Marines and the Imperial Guard, hopefully they will aid our cause. That is all. May the Emperor protect you all. Go."

All the men nodded or acknowledged the Inquisitor. Nunez boosted away on his jump-pack, while Ramirez moved to the ledge and began concealing himself as best he could. The other three darted down the stairs, going their separate ways when they reached street level. Rafael's plan was one based on hope. If it worked he and his team would surely perish, but it would all be worth it.

OOC: It would be helpful if you guys could play along, or at least some of you. I'm just trying to have some way available to bring an idea that could eventually end the thread, but would let us RP for a good while yet. Thanks,

Talion and Paleneus were still in the clearing. Talion's foot was much better, and he took off his boot to have a look. What he saw shocked him - there was a big gaping hole. The thing about the hole however was that it didn't look like it would heal. When the bullet had passed through, it had been quite hot, and had basically burnt the skin around it. This had caused it to heal up almost instantly, but still caused pain. Because of this, he had this hole straight through his foot which didn't hurt at all, but he could put his finger through it.
While he was looking, Paleneus came over. When he first saw it, he blinked and rubbed his eyes.
"What the hell?"
"I know. The strange thing is that it doesn't hurt at all anymore, just feels a bit weird"
"Well I'm not surprised. You do have a hole in your foot!"

During this, Haries was running through some sewers. He thought he heard something, but guessed it was probably rats. He had met one earlier - seemed very vicious. He kicked it and it decided to leave him alone. Despite this, he kept feeling uneasy in these sewers, and slowed down a little, being alot quieter. If anyone did hear him, he would be surprised. He was more careful when stepping, trying to avoid the water when possible, and when he did have to move in the water he stepped in slowly so as not to make a splash. He kept considering contacting Talion and Paleneus, but after he had kicked the rat he had realised there was an echo in these sewers, and even the quietest conversation would bounce off the dark walls, and find some ears somewhere to enter.

The orks watched Ramirez as he walked out from the others, the ork who had been given a headache by the round bouncing of his skull wanting to gut him, thought Snikrot kept him back to so they could see what he was doing.

Ammon, how bad is it? The sorcerer's voice was hushed, after all they did have enemies capable of sneaking up on them.
Are you referring to my legs or Ariel's hand? Ammon replied rethorically. I have attached the flamer to what's left of his arm, but that still leaves one question: Who will carry me?
I will Azrael said, ripping his robe of and making a pouch out of it, so that he could carry Ammon on his back.
A faint noise was heard, like the footstep of a man who tried to sneak up on someone, but had failed just barely,.
Hush, what's that?

What? If you have, then too late, but if something's going to happen later... fair enough.

The genestealers saw the unconcious ork lying in the clearing. One went and grabbed him while the rest stayed there. They ran back to their 'camp'. The species were swapped over and the Tau was deposited at the drop off point. The genestealers checked for any followers, cleared their tracks and left with the vital ork.

Not spamming (my last post was yesterday)

IC: The genestealers took the ork to a save area, well away form everyone else. The ork began to regain conciousness as they were about to kill him. The ork realised what was going on (orks are not stupid in any respect, if anything they are clever because of the way they shorten talking time) and shouted "NO! I know what u's wants. My's... erm... the stuff that makes me me! Orks make more orks by releasing these little things when they die. If u take my little things without killing me, it wouild save u's some time!"

The broodlord stopped to contemplate. Yes, this could work! He scrached the orks arm and sure enough there was green on his claw. (this is the improv. bit...) a small tube grew from the genestealers chest and he wiped off the spores inside it. The tube grew larger and larger until it aompletely covered the genestealers body. Then, a string of web attatched to a nearby tree and the broodlord was now just a pod hanging off the branch. The rest of the brood did they same and before long all but one genestealer was in a cocoon.

The ork looked around, the collapsed as he was knocked unconcious by the last genestealer before he too joined his brothers in the metamorphosis...

OOC: Theao, Ramirez is still on top of the building, looking for you with his sniper rifle, so how's this going to work?

IC: The Executioner winced as he stepped on the metal pole, clicking it into the wall. How could he have been so careless? The Chaos would surely have heard that. He drew his twin blades and stepped around the corner. Facing him were three Chaos marines. One had a crudely improvised arm, one had no legs, and the third appeared to be the leader. He smiled. "You wanna piece o' me? Come get it." He sprang back around the corner, aware the Chaos would soon be on his tail.

Rafael picked up the discarded mess tin, and tossed it aside when he had examined it. He ran deftly along until he reached a sewer hatch, and lowered himself down. He was sure the Imperial Guard were down here somewhere, and hopefully the Marines of the Black Angels would be near. He began pacing along the tunnel, he needed to find them soon.

Ramirez scanned the buildings in the surrounding streets, searching for the Orks. He saw nothing significant. A door swung slightly, probably caught in the breeze. It seemed he would have to play the waiting game.

Nunez boosted along the rooftops, aware of Dukov running along below him. He kept an eye out for the Tyranids, they were close by, as were the Tau. He boosted over a small forest clearing, and stopped dead at what he saw below him. There appeared to be large cocoons hanging from the trees around the clearing, and in the centre an Ork lay, unmoving. This had to be the Tyranid lair. He brought himself down softly in the centre of the clearing, beside the Ork, and drew his Bolt pistols. Time to waken the campsite.

Dukov watched Nunez take off over the forest, and cursed the Marines flight technology. He needed to find the Tau, but they were proving to be more elusive than he had imagined.

"Theres someone coming," A message was whispered down the line from the senterys at the end of the tunnel. "I don't have a clear visual but I heard footseteps. I think there only one"

"Prepare to fire." Austin ordered down the com and then yelled, "HALT!" His voice echoed down the sewer, "I am Commisinar Austin of the Imperial Guard, state your internetions."

Nunez gazed in horror as he saw the pods open slowly. They all split open and a gooey substance fell onto the ground. He examined the nearest one, bolt pistol first, but saw that there was nothing there. He heard somthing behind and spun around. He turned back and noticed 3 orks, one unconcious. But then, they weren't orks. They were Nids - but they looked like orks. He fired as one of them ran at him. He shot it in the head and it stopped, snarling at his feet. He looked up and the Orky Nids had vanished...

Haries stopped dead. This loud voice echoed through the sewers, shouting to whoever it was directed to stop. It sounded human. He looked around, his eyes well accustomed to the darkness. He couldn't see anyone, but didn't let this stop him. He stopped and set up his sniper rifle. If anyone came, they wouldn't feel too good after this.

Meanwhile, Paleneus and Talion were getting restless. They had been waiting for ages, and Haries still hadn't returned. Where the hell is he, Paleneus thought to himself, as he looked generally in the direction Haries left. He never took this long, and that explosion...Normally he wouldn't worry, but something about the explosion he heard made him worry even more. He didn't know what it was, and for all he knew that could have been directed against Haries. Haries could be lying there, dying. He made up his mind. He was going to contact Haries, and find out what had happened.

OOC: I think the Guard were shouting at me, I was following them after all. But hey, all four of us can meet at the same time in the sewers.

IC: Rafael stopped when he heard the shouts. The second seemed to be in reply to the first, and they did not seem hostile. They had stated they were Imperial, that was a good start. He decided for his own safety he should reply. "I am High Inquisitor Rafael of his Divine Emperor's Holy Inquisition. I mean no harm, and request to meet with leaders from your parties. Come alone, and hasten."

Ramirez still saw nothing, until he turned his rifle towards the corner of a nearby shop. He smirked, Orks really were too eager for their own good. He could see several gun barrels protruding from the corner. They appeared to be Imperial weapons, but one of them was being clutched in a vile green fist. He pulled back the bar on the rifle, cocking it to fire. Bring yourselves to me.

Nunez was disturbed by what he had just seen. Ork-Tyranid hybrids, the Inquisitor would have to be warned. He looked at the unconscious Ork on the ground, and ejected a bolt pistol round into its head. It was more a mercy shot than anything, he didn't want to think about what the Tyranid things would subject it to. The hybrids were gone, but they had left a sticky trail. An easy path to follow. He turned and looked at the few remaining pods. There was only one solution. He unclipped the meltabombs from his belt, attaching a bundle to each, and set timers. He turned to the trail, and boosted off along it.

Sorry, maybe I didn't make it clear, they took the ork with them.

As the genestealers ran (i'll still call em genestealers) the ork awakened. They asked "Where is your's peoples?" And so he started to lead the way.

Back in the clearing, one pile of slime started moving (all the pods have opened). Out emerged what looked like a grot with too many arms. He ran around then sat down looking lonely because he had no friends. Then he heard a beep. He looked at his pod, saw a meltabomb and just managed to shout "FU...!" before the thing exploded in his face!

The Inquisitor moved forward through the gloom. "Do not worry, I am genuine, I will not try anything." He held out his open palms to the Chaplin and the Commisar, in a gesture of peace. "Gentlemen, I require your assistance. Yes, Chaplin, I know you think I am full of myself, but I know when I need help and I am not afraid to ask for it. My party is currently in the process of luring all the non-Imperial forces to one spot. We intend to incite a mass gunfight, which will eventually end in the demise of these forces. I wish you both to bring your men and assist mine in this fight. It is likely that we shall suffer heavy casulties, but I hope you will assist, for the good of the Imperium. Well, will you aid me?"

Nunez heard the crumph of the melta bombs behind him. He smiled. There were less aliens in the galaxy now, and that was always a welcome sound. The slime trail was growing thinner, but he could hear the mutated genestealers up ahead. They were slobbering in some archaic tongue, which was probably Orkish grunting. He sped up, time was of the essence.

Ramirez waited, steadying his breathing, waiting for a brave/careless/suicidal/stupid Ork to come around the corner, and taste the wrath of his marksmanship. He then began to worry slightly. He was the only one in the building, and there were a few too many Orks down there. The others had better hurry up.

ic: He walked into the clearing. He wanted to find Tau. They found him. He noticed a heat shimmer in the air, walking towards it he suddenly found himself surrounded by three crisis suits and a stealth suit. There armour was a colour that the human psycology does not notice well, being almost completely absent in nature. One Tau, obviously the leader, walked towards him. Although the other Tau did not seem to notice, there was a tangible aura of Chaos about him.

His voice was deep, almost echoing in Dukov's mind, "Who are you and what is your purpose? No point in running if you want to live." Suddenly the guns pointed at him seemed a lot bigger. Was it a Chaos mind trick? Or was it just psycology, his mind playing the tricks itself.

Theao, do you want to control your ork now, or can I keep him for a bit?

IC: The broodlord stopped. Genestealers were already stealthy creatures but the ork they had used was also a stealthy breed, which came from his genes. He thought he had heard something. The ork in his mind was clouding his connection with the Hive Mind. He span around, looking. Suddenly it alll clicked into place. They had left a slime trail. One of their number was missing. The sound they heard earlier had not been a genestealer dispelling wind. He saw a figure in the distance. He screamed at himself for being so stupid. He only had 7 'men' left. His mind clicked through possible options. His ork side wanted to attack the intruder. The genestealer side wanted to set up an ambush or make a tactical withdrawal (aka run away!) He grabbed the nearest nid to him and shouted "You want a good fight? Get im!" He pushed the expendable mutation towards the enemy as he whispered for the rest to follow him and they ran off into the bushes so that he could clear his mind in a familiar surrounding.

Dukov breathed deeply and took in the situation. There were Tau all around him, all better armed. This would be difficult. "My name is Captain James T. Kirk, of the Starship Enterprise. I come in peace." That seemed to pacify them for a few seconds, he needed to think fast. "I am representing Imperial forces on this planet, and have been sent to you with a message from High Inquisitor Rafael. He has heard of your noble deeds in the past against the evil Xenos of the Immaterium, and wishes to make a request. We are planning to lure all evil Xenos on the planet to the one spot, where we shall attempt to destroy all in one go, and the Inquisitor would request your assistance in this matter. He feels your firepower and extent knowledge of weapons combat would be vital in achieving victory, for, er... the Greater Good." He smiled confidantly at the Tau surrounding him, and hoped they would have listened.

Rafael nodded in appreciation. "I understand your concerns Chaplin, but I assure you, we shall not be so badly outnumbered. We have my group of five, which may become six, your men, the Imperial Guard unit under Commisar Austin, and possibly support from Tau on the planet. For now I must leave you. You will find my sniper, Ramirez, in a building three blocks west of the nearest sewer exit. I suggest you both hurry to him." He again nodded at them, this time in farewell, and set off further down the sewers. There was someone else down here, he could sense them.

Nunez barrel-rolled to avoid crashing into the mutation, and spun, a bolt pistol in each hand, and each set of lightning claws shimmering. He dived forward at the thing, pistols blazing at its torso, and made a swing for its head...

The Executioner smirked as he watched the Chaos hesitate. "Come out and get me. Or are you afraid from our last encounter? Come for me, weaklings!!!" He sprinted out of the building, confident he had sufficiently riled the traitor marines behind him.

OOC: Just to let you know, don't get too close to Haries in the sewers or he will snipe you. I am going to get him a way out, so he can be back in the open air. In the end, something will happen involving my trio and some nids.

IC: Haries could hear conversation, but it was too quiet to catch any words. All he knew was that they weren't after him. He sighed quietly, and then began to move again. He looked around, hoping to see an exit, but couldn't see one. He had to keep moving, and kept with his technique of being very careful with each step. Thanks to the abilities of the Night Stalkers he had, he could still move quite quickly. Once he found an exit, he would get outside and meet up with the other two. First of all he had to find a manhole cover though.

Paleneus tried a few times, but couldn't get a signal on the comms. "Damn it, where is he?"
"He's probably underground or something. Comms almost always work, but we discovered that they don't work underground, unless the Eldar have supplied you with their technology" Talion replied, looking around, "Although, I don't know how he could have gone underground".

I know of the Damocles Gulf Crusade, it has not always been Tau and Imperials fighting side by side. However, I am willing to give you the benefit of the doubt, and an alliance between our respective forces would be helpful to all of us. It would be in our best interest to defeat the Tyranids and other races on this planet, and then perhaps after we help you, you could help us. The genestealer was cleverer than Nunez thought. As he rolled, the genestealer had spun round. The suprise of seeing the beast already running made him hesitate slightly. The mutation had a set of claws firmly dug into Nunez's shoulder before the lightning claws carved the green skin open.

But the sudden fight had distracted and disorientated Nunez. He was almost sure where he had come from, but had no clue about where the nids had gone with their hostage. They had managed to wipe off the slime that had once given away their position and had probably long gone by now...

Ramirez glanced down into the street as the Guard emerged from the sewers. He heard them enter the building and begin setting up. It was nice to be around good men again.

Dukov bowed slightly to the Tau commander, and looked to the second commander, awaiting his say in the matter.

Nunez brushed aside the dead genestealer, feeling the biotoxins in his body begin to heal the wound in his shoulder. He would need to repair the armour himself. He looked around, trying to remember which way the Tyranids had gone. He couldn't quite remember which way it was, but that's what his equipment was for. He boosted into the air on his jump-pack, looking around for signs of disturbance. He could see nothing, so he took out his auspex...

Okay okay! Sorry! I didn't mean to godmode. It saves a lot of time if I don't wait to see if he decides to slice him open with power claws or blast his head off with a bolt pistol. I'm not joining in the big fight yet (is there even one going on at the moment? I thought there were just lots of little battles going on). I'm still progressing with my story. So now I'm going to wait and see what the hell this auspex does. Actually, I'm guessing it's some kind of sensor that you hope will find my Nids. If I'm wrong I will correct it.

IC: The broodlord recognised the device. He started lowering his body temperature... but then realised he couldn't anymore. He grabbed his brood and started running, hoping to get out of range before they were detected.

And I've hardly been godmoding. If I said that the lone genestealer somehow killed Nunez on his own by some sheer chance - that is godmoding. Nunez studied the auspex intently. There were faint blips to his north, but they were only faint, and he could not be sure that was the Tyranids. He was fed up with this wild goose chase. He pocketed the auspex and jetted off towards the fight-point.

Rafael reached the building, and moved to Ramirez's position. The Marines and Guard were in position. The Orks had arrived, but were not attacking. Now he had to wait, Dukov, Nunez and the Executioner were yet to report in.

OOC: There is no fight yet, but everyone is moving into position. I assume the Chaos are going to follow the Executioner back there? And whenever the Nids want to join feel free. I don't mind who the Tau side with, it will be interesting either way.

"Now, we's can go 'untin' for ur green-skinned mates!" said the broodlord, getting very pissed off at the coloquial dialect. The ork said "erm... I thinks they is this-a-way!" and the ran in search of the rest of the mob.

Ramirez nodded to the Commisar, giving a quick salute. "Sir. What can I do for you?"

The Executioner put his head back round the corner, and quickly withdrew it as the grenade flew past. Shiiiiiiiit He decided it was time to leave, and began making his way back.

"You shall see yourself Commisar, when our fight begins. I believe when you watch me shoot, you will know how good I am. I am one of five members of the Inquisitor's warband, but Inquisitor Rafael has spoke of a sixth, who he is however remains a mystery." Ramirez paused, thinking.
"The building has six floors as you can see. I believe the Inquisitor is willing to let your Guard occupy the fourth and fifth floors. There are windows on all sides, with an emergency staircase at the southside, which will need to be defended or destroyed to prevent the enemy sneaking up on us. My comrades will occupy the lower floors, as they are more gifted in combat. I shall occupy this top floor, which I am only willing to share with one other fighter, at my discression. The Space Marines of the Black Angels chapter are across the street, and the Tau may yet arrive. For now we wait, it is the enemy's turn to move." (hint, hint Orks)

Dukov re-entered the building, having left directions with the Tau, and went to find the Inquisitor, who was discussing tactics with Nunez. Rafael turned to greet him, as the Executioner also entered the building. When all four were together the Inquisitor spoke. "Nunez has brought alarming news of a Tyranid/Ork hybrid. This truly is a concern of the Imperium, such beasts cannot be allowed to leave the planet, they must be destryoed. If we make it through this fight we will hunt them down, hunt them to the death. If we are unable to destroy them, further measures may have to be taken. I have the support of The Emperor's Vigilance in orbit, under the command of Supreme Marshall Mantara of the Imperial Navy. He moved away from the sound, being as careful as always, and eventually found his own way out. When he stepped out of the sewers, he noticed he wasn't anywhere near where he got in. Haries had arrived back at the clearing. On the way he heard some rifle shots, and instinctly dropped to the ground. When he realised that they weren't firing at him, he carried on as before. When he had actually arrived, he walked towards the other two, coming up behind them, getting ready to scare them.
"Took you long enough" Paleneus simply said, and turned round smiling. Haries swore under his breath, and Talion, realising that Paleneus was talking to someone behind him, turned round himself. "So, what happened?".
He told them everything that had happened, from the bunker to arriving back here. Talion laughed out loud when Haries told them of the trap he had set in the bunker, but otherwise they just took it all in. Then it was Paleneus' turn.
"After we had tried to contact you, as I said, we decided to do our own investigating. We looked around outside the forest, carefully at first, but no-one else tried to shoot at us. I think the reason for that was that no-one was actually looking anywhere apart from down in the city, and the reason for that was that some Orcs were wandering around down there. Talion noticed a marine in one of the buildings, so it is obvious something is happening. However, as we were watching the Orcs, we saw something strange. They looked like Orcs, yet when we could compare them to the real Orcs we realised they had some differences. Also, the way they moved, it was like they were tyranids. But by appearance, they obviously weren't anything of the sort. Before we could have a proper look, we heard the gun fire you heard, and instantly retreated back into the forest just in-case. They weren't shooting at us, but we didn't want to risk anything"

After Paleneus had said this, they sat in silence for a long time, each of them thinking about what was happening down there, and the strange creatures they saw.

The Tau were about to enter the building when warning bells went off in O'Or'es' mind. Someone was here. Something evil. The psychic imprint was obvious. Orks, yes Orks and more Orks, or were they Tyranids. Yes, some were Tyranids. He could tell. Although it was hidden, he became aware of occasional shots fired from the top of the building. Ork fire. They were too high up to be seen, even with infra-red.

*Into comm* "If we enter the building we will come under fire. One of us must enter. Vre'J'karra, enter with stealth to avoid being scene, tell the Inquisitor we will help remove the Orks and Tyranids then retreat to aid us.

Sending a command to one gun drone, it flew up (under stealth, I doubt orks have infra-red cameras) to view the orks on the top of the building. O'Or'es started to calculate the combat calculations that made him one of the heighest ranking in the Tau military.

On the top floor Ramirez thought he heard something, clawing perhaps, and it was getting louder. He spoke into his comms headset, "Dukov, go outside, and look up." He tapped Richards on the shoulder and motioned for him to follow and give covering fire, before moving to the edge of the building, keeping low. He listened......

Dukov stepped carefully out and gazed upwards. "Fuck me." One of the smaller Orks was staring straight at him. He beckoned to the squad, and they took off, quickly reaching a building across the street from the orks. The squad hunkered down behind a wall on the roof of the building, qucikly blasting holes through with their plasma rifles. They used the newly made slits to pour plasma and missile fire on both the orks climbing the building and those on the ground in rubble. O'Shovah sent Vre'Shi down from the top of the eight-story building to the first level, where he constructed an elaborate trap at the only entrance consisting of an automatic plasma rifle, the spare fusion blaster of O'Shovah, and his spare flamer, not to mention several tons of debris suspended with Earth Caste heavy wire above the entrance to the two-story lobby. He then secured all windows with plasma-fused steel from the basement of the building while he heard his comrades pour fire into the enemies. The rest of the genestealers knew they were beaten. The posibility of continuing their mission was quickly diminishing. They were left with the best 4 and the broodlord.

The broodlord was right, the human wasn't quick enough. He dug a claw into his arm as he jumped but was suddenly stopped. The rest of the brood were retreating, carrying their leader with them. The tried to finish the human, but all he managed to do was tear away flesh, nothing fatal, but it would leave him pretty badly off. He screamed at the human, verbally and psychicly.

A quick self-diagnostic revealed nothing wrong, but it still worried him. He breathed in, then exhaled slowly. He froze halfway through the breath, and squeezed the trigger. The round flew from the weapon, a piercing 'crack' echoing in the units ears and travelling across the street. it flew straight and true, smashing into the weapon, disabling it.

OOC: No kill, just can't use that weapon anymore

Hanst jumped down the stairs, and saw Dukov turning to grab his custom pistol (Damn fool!). He ran up, grabbed Dukov, and literally threw him into the building, whilst his bolt pistol roared, the explosive shells stiching a glowing trail near the Ork positions. He rolled back, grabbing the other pistol as he did so, and then stood, offering the pistol to Dukov,"This is yours I believe"

''You're the leader now Ariel, remember? What hsould we do?''
''We should... eh, wait here in cover and wait for the survivors to come outside. Maybe we should stack some rubble to create a crude wall for cover on the flanks.''

The CSM began to create a low wall of rubble to protect their flanks while they hid behin´d a building. They used a small piece of shiny metal as a mirror to see around the corner.

The trio were getting quite close to the fighting now, and realised what it was. It was one giant trap. The Orks had been wandering around there earlier as they had been led there. They must have been rather confused, but now they were fighting for their lives. And the people in the building(s). Definitely marines, but how many they could not know. All they did know is that they had to help out the Orcs. They hate marines more, and the orcs could prove useful in wiping them out. They ran down towards the Orcs, being more and more silent the closer they got. They couldn't afford to be spotted. If they showed they had no weapons, then the Orcs would surely understand they meant no harm. They weren't that stupid.

OOC: Now is the time to get spotted. They wont GM, as they probably wont kill anyone or even break a weapon, but they will be using unorthodox methods to stay alive.

IC: Dukov realised his stupidity as he saw the Ork take aim at him. He waited for the las-bolts to connect, but they never did, as he felt something grabbing him and hurling him backwards through the door. Moments later the thrower re-entered the building, Dukov's pistol in hand. The Lieutenant looked up at his rescuer as he pocketed his pistol. "Chaplin Hanst, it is a pleasure to meet you. I am Lieutenant Dukov of Inquisitor Rafael's battle group. I have information you may find interesting. Take me to somewhere that gives a view of the street and I will point it out to you."

Rafael ordered Nunez and the Executioner back downstairs. "Block out the windows and the rear exit. Leave only the front door as an entry and exit point. I will join you down there later." He turned and called up to the next floor. "Commisar Austin, get down here!"

Ramirez watched with relief as the Marine threw Dukov inside the building, happy his comrade was now in safe hands. He scoped around, looking for the Tyranids. They wouldn't escape his sights again.

OOC: Tau- Sa'cea sept, commanded by O'Shovah, Vre'Shi second in command.

IC: The squadrons continued firing, the squad with plasma rifles and blacksun filters having less trouble targeting the orcs due both to their superior vision and the fact that the lasblast had now enabled them to pinpoint the enemy. The other squad, seeing that all tyranids were attempting to inflitrate the Imperial building, continued firing at them.

Suddenly, O'Shovah noticed a glint near the edge of a building down from the Imperial building. When he turned on his infra-red vision, it revealed an astounding fact- several foul chaos minions were hiding behind the building! He quickly targeted his plasma rifle at them, hoping to blow away the wall in front of them, while he ordered Vre'Shi to fly to the Imperial building and warn them.

Vre'Shi took off, pumping plasma rounds down at the tyranids and orks as he went, and dodging stray fire. He made it to the Imperial building with little damage, and flew inside one of the top-story windows, looking for imperials.
He said, "Greetings. I am Vre'Shi, from the Tau under O'Shovah. We have discovered chaos space marines hiding near your building, and will attack them in conjunction with you if you wish."

The unfortunate victim went up to the door whilst the rest hid round the corner. He knocked slowly on the dorr, then gathering courage knocked harder. Then, he started running away from the door towards the nearest cover possible (he did not realise that this would include the other side of the building!)...

Haries heard the bullet coming, and wasn't going to mess up this time. He dived at Paleneus, a good call as the bullet landed where he had just been standing.
"What the hell..." Paleneus began while getting up
"No time to talk, someone shot at us" Haries replied, "We need some cover". They ran towards a small section of wall. There had once been a building there, and if it still was there would be much more cover. But this would have to do for now. When they arrived, Haries poked his head above the section of wall, trying to find the shooter. He then saw him, in one of the windows of the building, aiming a gun in their direction.
"I see him, third floor up, second window from the left," He looked back from where they came, "Only one shot fired, and at that distance - must be a sniper"
"Can't you just shoot him?" Talion asked
"No. By the time I aim, he will have found us, and will shoot me. We can't stay here for long either, as there is no doubt he will tell someone else about us. We have to get out"
They then sat in silence, and Haries especially knew that was a good thing. When Paleneus was silent after something like this, it was obvious he was thinking of a plan. That is what made him the master of the Night Stalkers - not just his fighting skill, but his ability to formulate successful plans from any situation. It was just a matter of waiting.

OOC: If the floor and window is wrong, it doesn't matter - that is just to make it sound more realistic. And feel free to bring more marines or guard into this, as then it becomes more interesting.

RL, what god do your chaos follow?

Enemy fire. Chaos. Vre'J'karra turned. The Sa'ceans were entering into the building but not O'Or'es' troops. Where were they?

O'Or'es knew exactly where he was. He had felt the presence of Chaos like a dagger in his heart. He had hid, with his bodyguards, and had recalled his gun drones. Seeing the warriors of Chaos, twisted, mutated, he felt sick. They were once strong warriors of good, like the Marines he had met many times. He moved slowly round the clearing where the Chaos attacked. His bodyguards doing likewise. Muttering orders into his comm, he readied his guns. He was almost behind the Chaos and there was no cover left. With a cry of "For the Greater Good" all hell was let lose.

O'Or'es felt the pain, the shock. Even these creatures had emotion. He knew they planned his death. Lusted for death. They would fight to the end, till one or the other died. As their minds settled they cared not. He felt soul soul wrench. Was it at their evil, or was his soul being pulled by them, to them, he could not tell.

Talion ducked quickly, as many shots flew over his head. He looked around, looking for a way out. No doubt they will be coming soon. There must be a way out! He kept looking in all directions, aware of the constant shooting above his head. If they keep that up they will destroy what is left of this wall! He saw a building off into the distance behind him. No good, too far away, and even when he got to it he would be faced with a massive wall with no doors or windows. He kept looking, incase something useful was hidden in this rubble. He could throw stones to try and distract them, and maybe he could find somewhere to hide. But where? And also, would highly trained space marines be distracted by a few small stones? It was no good. There was nowhere, and all he had were a couple of pistols - suddenly it clicked into place. He looked back at the building, judging the distance. Could he make it? Well there was nowhere else. This was his only chance. He jumped up, and immediately began to run towards the building. If he could just get past it, he would be fine. The building would block their line of sight. The first problem would be reaching the building. More than just one sniper had joined in, as he had expected. He just had to hope they wouldn't get a lethal shot on him.

Vre'Shi was suprised. Knowing little of Imperials, he had assumed they were all of the same group, but it appeared they did not know of each other's intentions. IC: A look of realisation came over Ramirez's face as the Tau spoke. "You must be the one Dukov went after. Ok, my sincere apologies, one can no be too careful on a world like this. The Inquisitor will be here shortly. In the meantime you can start putting fire into those Nid's again." Ramirez turned away and opened up again on the Tyranids at the foot of the building.

The Inquisitor heard the thumping of the things pounding against the door. "Very well Commissar, as you wish. Now hurry. I shall join you as soon as I can." He leapt up the stairs until he reached the Tau commander. "Commander Vre'Shi, I take it. How can I help you?"

Nunez and the Executioner braced themselves as they heard the thump. Nunez laid out the plan as the Commissar joined them. "When they hit again, I will fire into the door, hopefully that should at least wound, if not kill some of them. When the door breaks, you must wait comrade. As they enter, slice them from behind. I will stop firing and engage them in hand to hand aswell. You too do what you can Commissar. If one of us should fall, the others fight on. We must not surrender this level, at all cost. If you find yourself the last alive, you know the emergency plan. Here they come."
The door cracked as the creatures thudded into it, but this time the occupents reacted. Nunez's shotgun roared as he began to fire it semi-auto. The door was ripped from its hinges in a shower of splinters and shrapnel, blood from those outside joined the debris flying through the air. A few seconds passed until the Tyranids entered. The shotgun roared six times more as the creatures came in the doorway, the shells impacting and exploding in the aliens' flesh. When several had entered the Executioner joined the fray, his twin power blades cutting through flesh like paper. He swung one sword at those just passed him, and the second he drove into the doorway, at those entering. Nunez dropped the shotgun as electicity pumped through his lightning claws. He drove them into the first Tyranid's torso, following through with a headbutt to its skull. He felt searing pain as the thing's claws dove into him, and rejoiced at the feeling. He was in battle again. He was back where he belonged.

Especially a sniper, as they want to know where the enemy is going so that they can wait for them, not just shoot where the enemy is at that moment. OOC: I know, but I had to do it from my perspective to show what had happened. And it sounds cooler. By the way, there are only three of ours in the room - Commissar Austin, Nunez - The Space Marine, and the Executioner - the Super Human.

IC: Dukov reloaded his pistols, and resumed taking pot-shots at the target running across the street. The man was fast, and a long way away, so it was difficult to hit him with the pistols. The fool was running to nowhere, it was suicide. Then Dukov realised. He had fallen for it, like the others. "Diversion." He turned to the Chaplin. "It's a diversion, Chaplin. He is drawing fire from the other two, and it has worked. What do you suggest we do?"

Ramirez centered in on the man running across the street. The runner had no hope, what was he thinking? He zoomed in as far as he thought necessary, centering the crosshair on the man's left knee, tracking his run all the way. Time to bring this one to a halt. He shallowed his breath, and squezzed the trigger.....

The Executioner spun to face the Tyranid in front of him, swinging his blades slowly round in looping arcs, distracting the beast. To his left Nunez had impaled one of the genestealers on his lightning claws, which had also dug its talons into the Marine. To his right the Commissar had wrapped his cloak around another, and was attempting to finish it off. Adding that to the one lying dead from the shotgun fire, that made four. (S-Y-F, I'm assuming that one is dead, correct me if I'm wrong.) He was sure there had been a fifth, but in the melee it was difficult to see everything. He would concentrate on his own prey first. He stared ruthlessly at the beast, holy fire burning in his steely eyes. "Meet your doom, beast." He brought the blades inwards, and felt their impact on flesh...

Rafael nodded gently to the Tau. "Very well, your help is greatly appreciated." He half-turned to leave, then turned back. "Do not attempt to cross me, Tau. I am not an enemy you want to have." With that he left, pounding down the stairs.

Talion felt the bullet enter his knee. He cried out in pain, but couldn't stop running. There was nowhere to hide. He had to keep moving. Another bullet entered his shoulder, but he ignored the pain that it caused - he was nearing the building. He began to charge up his pistols.

Paleneus and Haries had safely got away. Instead of relaxing however, they were already on the move. After a while Haries found a good sniper position. Hidden in a small clump of trees, he looked towards the buildings the marines were hiding in. He couldn't see the marines inside, but could see the buildings clearly. They were too far. But he knew his bullet would travel far enough. He aimed where a window was and fired, with a chance it would hit something. He then aimed for another window and fired. He continued this through each window, hopefully giving enough cover for Talion. All they could do now was wait and see what happened.

During this, Paleneus was moving through some more trees, back towards where the orcs were hiding earlier. Maybe they would help them kill the space marines. He couldn't know for certain, but if he dropped his weapons hopefully they would understand peace. With just him this time, he could concentrate on stealth much more, and he made sure no-one would see him until he wanted them to.

Talion arrived at the building, his pistols fully charged. He didn't stop moving, but quickly checked the walls. Too strong to shoot through. He would have to stick to his plan. As he neared the building, he began to move the guns so that they aimed at the floor. And then he did it. He suddenly jumped, just before he reached the building. He span round in mid-air, and anyone looking would see the smile on his face as he fired his pistols at the floor. The force from those pistols carried him high up into the air, and he landed on top of the roof of the building. Now, he thought to himself, how do I get down?

OOC: Is Talion running to the building all the Guard etc are in?

IC: Ramirez saw the hit, but the target kept running. He chambered another round quickly and fired at the man's shoulder, again hitting. His target however didn't seem to want to stop, and for his resilience Ramirez respected him. He swore loudly as the rifle gave a heavy, hollow click, and ejected the clip. What a time to have to reload. He pulled a new clip from his belt and jammed it into the rifle, and pulled back the hammer, all too aware his target would very soon be out of sight. He looked down his sight. The man stopped, and Ramirez took aim. The target jumped, Ramirez adjusted. Then the target disappeared. What the hell??

Vre'Shi did not reply to the human, for at that moment, a sniper bullet zinged through the window. It was stopped by his holofield, but was still a close call. He ducked and raised his plasma rifle, but realised the enemy was out of his range. He moved to another window, and began firing down at the Tyranids directly below.

OOC: If Talion is at the building my guys are in, I will change this later.

IC: Ramirez looked up from his scope, tyring to re-find his target. He found him, on top of the building. Well, I'll be damned. That was some jump. The killer in Ramirez resurfaced. On top of the building the man had nowhere to run. He looked back into the scope, and aimed for the man's head. He was readying himself to fire when the zing of a sniper round passed into the floor below, causing him to lift his head again. Shiiiiiit. He would have to hurry.

On the ground floor, the fight raged on. The Executioner's blades swung back and forth, keeping the Tyranids away from him. Nunez kicked the Genestealer of his lightning claws, now dripping with alien blood. He snarled and dived at it again, this time intent on the kill. The Commissar was still engaged somewhere in the room, but Nunez could not see how he was doing.

Rafael barrelled down the stairs, passing the Imperial Guard on the way, giving them messages of encouragement, and telling them to stay vigilant. He finally reached the stairs to the bottom floor, and witnessed the carnage before him. Nunez was fighting one, and seemingly winning. The Commissar was in deadlock with another, and to the right the Executioner was bravely fighting off two at once. Rafael recognised one as the broodlord who had wounded his arm, and the Inquisitor's mind burned with rage. He clenched his fists, his mind charging with psyhcic energy. His body crackled with the power flowing through him, and he truly felt the Emperor's blessing. He drew his force sword slowly, watching it draw psyhcic power from him. He had never felt so powerful. His eyes burned fiercely with divine light as he watched the broodlord attempt to kill his comrade. Such vile existence could not be allowed to continue. He did not need to draw the beast's intention through voice, it would sense his power. He strode forward slowly and powerfully, comforted by the blade in his hand. Bring yourself to me, beast. Your time has come.

OOC: Sorry about not posting. Was struggling to find time to actually post.

IC: Haries, while shooting towards the windows, suddenly saw a large explosion at the ground. There was no fire, but dust and rubble flew everywhere. He then noticed a figure flung into the air. The thing was, this figure seemed to be in control, not taken by surprise. Talion. He knew it was. There was no doubt in his mind. Talion, in trying to escape the enemy, had fired his pistols into the ground. But why? A distraction? Then he saw him land on the roof of another building. Clever, he thought, although now that meant he was trapped. This was his cue. He had to go and rescue him.

Paleneus also saw the blast, and the figure shot into the air. Similar thoughts ran through his mind. He wasn't sure whether to go and help, but then he received a call from Haries. I've got him. Good luck with the Orcs. That was all he said, but it was enough. Paleneus kept moving, intent on finding those Orcs and seeing what would happen.

Talion landed on the building, winding himself slightly, but otherwise was fine. He quickly looked around, and saw the two things he was after. Firstly, cover. Secondly, a way down. He chose cover to start with, while he thought of some other stupid plan. As he sat behind what turned out to be a small dip in the floor (enough to offer cover from anything except above him), he began to realise the wounds he had suffered. The shot to the shoulder wasn't too bad, and just like with his foot, he could live with that. The shot to the knee however was much worse. It was beginning to turn gangreen (or however you spell it), and he knew he needed medical attention. He would struggle to walk. He had to hope no-one would come up here.

OOC: Please tell me what the building with the guard etc. is like (where people are and so on), and I will decide whether he will have landed there or not. I should be able to post more now, especially as I have finished my exams.

SYF, we've told you more than once not to godmod, so for fuck's sake don't. I didn't state any damage done to your guys, alright, I might have declared stabbing them etc, but I never actually called a kill. Neither did Aust. I was waiting for you to do it. AND, you will notice, one of my guys did take damage. (Nunez, when fighting one of the genestealers.) So eat that.

Just another point, seeing as how I'm aggrevated already. When you post, is there any chance you could spell things properly, or use decent grammar. Spelling mistakes from everyone is acceptable, but, to quote from your last post, brang ! I mean, what the hell is that, it doesn't even sound right. Or do you not speak English. It just makes the thread scrappy and childish looking.

To finish, I'm hoping you will re-write that last post, because I'm not accepting critical damage on my guys because you were cranky when you posted (or so it seems). On top of that, nothing coincides with what I posted. For a start, the Executioner is not a Marine, he is human, and also he did not stab your genestealer, all he did was defend himself. So change it, and quit godmodding, its wrecking the thread.

Is anyone else with me on this, or am I being too harsh here? I think I'm justified in what I'm saying, but let me know anyway.

Okay, you all think I'M godmoding! Re-read all of the posts about the fight. So it's now unfair to say "No, you won't completely wipe me out be spinning around and doing fancy things with pistols or blades!"

I will wait for other people to review the situation before I change the post, because I feel that I've done nothing horribly wrong.

I was in a hurry with that post because my internet could have disconnected without reason any second. Brang, brought, same difference! The important bit is that you know what I'm saying. Otherwise if you don't want the thread to look un-professional then I'll start talking American-English all over your ass!

Can others please look at all the threads about this fight and say whether I'm being unfair. If you all think I am then I WILL change it, but not until then!
Oh, and why should I change my post just because Shinbreakers was cranky when he posted (or so it seems) :p

Sorry to hold things up. Just want to finish by saying that I was intending to make this my last fight anyway (meaning I was expecting, no, intending to die!) but I'm going out with a bang. Now it's seemed to me that I'm the only one to take heavy casualties, everyone else has a group of special characters that survive anything as if it were a scratch!

OOC: We all need a PG moment...

Seriously though, everyone should calm down. With spelling, check Aust's posts and complain again :)

As for the god moding, he has been taking heavy casualties throughout. I have tried to, and once my guy gets off the building he wont be doing much more (I will do my next post at another time - I am too tired now), but I haven't really suffered enough either.

Also, it says they both collapsed to the floor. I think its perfectly fair if you decide he got back up again, a bit stunned, but still able to fight (just with slower reactions perhaps). He doesn't say he killed him or knocked him out. He is saying what his genestealer did, and now it is your turn to decide how bad it was. When you shot at Talion, you said what you did - you aimed at his knee and fired. I allowed that and said the bullet hit. It is similar to this, just this one tells a bit more of the story. Otherwise however, you might end up god moding his genestealer. His genestealer gets killed, so he tries to take someone down with him. Sounds fine to me.

Anyway, I'm bored now, and will check this thread again in the morning (its after 10pm UK time and I have to get up at 6:30am tomorrow). If you don't stop arguing, then Paleneus will make you stop ;)

The creature ripped clear of the cloak and managed to avoid the Commisinars thrust, the blade only scarring one of it's arms. Austin leapt back from another swing and kicked the creature back, then pulled out the plasma pistol, it had charged again and he fired it into the creatures face.

No godmod, I've given you no damage, i waited 3 days for you to respond and then posted again. I had you avoid one of my thrusts, and I have not godmodded by saying 'he pulled out a plasma pistol and fired it itno the creatures face', no damage, no death, you could have ducked or anything.

compare this to SUF

As the executioner stabbed the genestealer, it snarled and with its last breath dug two claws into the marine's head, brang it down and kneed him in the face. They both colapsed to the floor. Meanwhile, the others were spraying bllod everywhere.

Godmod, I'd say digging claws into a caracters head, 'brang' it down and kneeing it, is pritty much killing somthing, when you consider that genesteelers have inch long claws.

The broodlord saw Rafael coming towards him. He charged, intending to swipe two arms at his head, try to dig another two claws into his torso and bring one leg round to try and sweep his feet out form beneath him...

No problems with this.

As for the spelling I won't comment, my spelling isn't good, I go to classes to help it, and I won't pass judgement on SUF.

Maybe the Executioner 'kill' was a little unfair, but use your imagination - if he's wearing a helmet, then he could easily survive. If he isn't, TOUGH LUCK! That would be my first kill in the entire thread! (correct me if I'm wrong :p )

Matt, sorry, VI is right, we need to calm down. As I said, this is going to be death-or-glory time! Sorry Aust, but I kinda took it that your guy shot the genestealer directly in the face, point blank range. Anyway, no complaints. Isn't it worth some sacrifices to get rid of the Nid threat? (If it isn't, I'm going on strike! Give us bag guys SOME credit!)

Thanks VI for making me smile in this brief moment of swearing and god-moding (well, accusations anyway)

If I was being malicious, I would have pointed out several things, like "Or do you not speak English." should have a question mark and it is called godmoding, not "godmod" and not "godmodding". Those magic 'e's can be important!

OOC: Everyone has calmed down...good :)

IC: Umm

OOC: Where was I again? Oh yes.

IC: Haries was moving towards the building, slowly, and checking for snipers as he went. He just had to hope Talion could survive long enough, and not get himself in more trouble.

Paleneus was near the Orcs now. Behind them to be exact. He moved forward, making himself known.
"I am Paleneus, master of the Night Stalkers, and I have a proposal..."

Talion was still sitting on the building, waiting. He didn't know what he was waiting for until he received a call from Haries. I'm coming. Stay out of trouble. He knew what his brother was doing. He just had to hope Haries arrived before anyone else. He couldn't put up much of a fight.

OOC: With the Orcs, the Night Fight thingy wouldn't work. Night Stalkers are immune to Night Fight, with the ability to see however much light there is. If you tried that, Paleneus is still armed with a Plasma Pistol and his sword. He isn't a bad shot with his Plasma Pistol. Not perfect, but still able to hit any Orc that tries anything. And if you get into combat...well lets just say that is a stupid idea ;)

EDIT: Also, where are you from Aust?

OOC: OK, so I made a few mistakes too, I'll happily admit to it. It does not change the fact that your post was "godmoding". And if your wondering why my men haven't taken much damage, it might be because you never actually posted any attacks on them. So maybe when you do that, they might be able to take damage, and we can actually get on with the thread. Another thing, why would the Executioner be wearing a helmet? He's not a Space Marine or an Imperial Guard, and none of his descriptions had him wearing a helmet. So, if you want to change the post, or put out a new post, actually describing a proper attack, I might take some damage. Sounds fair to me.

IC: Rafael smiled to himself as the broodlord turned to face him. It was time at last. He drew back his sword in both hands, and waited for it to strike.

The Executioner was relieved to see the second genestealer turn away from him, and was now able to concentrate solely on the one before him.

Nunez drew himself up to his full 8-foot height and glowered down at the genestealer writhing before him. It was still alive, so he powered up his claws, and waited for it to rise.

Okay, do you mind if I ignore this post, as I was just about to re-do my old one!

IC: At least one genestealer had fallen to the Executioner. The rest advanced on him, desperate to take out this obvious threat. Some of them managed to avoid the swinging blades and before long the rest were attacking him.

Meanwhile, the Broodlord was advancing on Rafael. Letting out an alien scream he charged, attempting to trip him up whilst thrusting and swinging claws at the thing that had singled him out. (Basically what I did in the 'godmoding' thread)

OOC: There is one more person - Nunez, the Space Marine with the lightning claws, can I assume that there is still that one genestealer fighting him?

IC: The Executioner was glad to dispatch the creature he had been fighting, but he could see the worst was yet to come. All but two of the Tyranids were now advancing on him, claws raised. He knew already that he was to die in this fight, but damn was he going to make them pay. He glared murderously out at them from beneath his hood, his eyes promising death. With a roar he leapt headfirst at them, embracing his death gladly.

Nunez heard the roar and looked up. His comrade was hurling himself at the genestealers. Surely he would die? The Space Marine desperately wanted to aid his friend, but the Tyranid in front of him blocked his path. He too roared, but with fury, and struck at the genestealer once more.

Rafael was momentarily caught out by the swiftness of the broodlord. He managed to parry its claws with his daemonsword, but it flung out a leg and he was swept from his feet. He hit the ground hard, to see it strike at him again. He managed to roll out from under it just it time, but the beast had tore open his sword arm, sending his weapon skidding across the floor. He swore into himself as he felt the blood run down his arm, but this was no time to worry. He balled his spiked gloves into fists, as threw himself at the broodlord once more, punching and striking whenever he got the chance.

Dukov was becoming agitated, and decided to leave the Marine building. He gave a quick salute to the Chaplin, and burst out across the street, praying the enemies would not see him until it was too late. Unfortunately he knew that would not be the case. He was darting across open ground, any of them could shoot him down. But nonetheless he ran, prayed, and ran some more. He would make it, he had to, for the sake of his friends.

Lol, it was a friendly piece of advice! Seriously, I am, along with Shinbreakers (thanks man!), fighting to the death. If you join in the fight then I WILL kill you! I'm getting bored of this thread and so I'm reaching my own glorious climax, so please stay out of the way.

IC: The genestealers advancing on the Executioner were almost frightened by his willingness to give up his life. But the fact that they outnumbered him boosted their orky morale. As he dived, he killed the first one outright, ripping it apart (sorry if this is GMing, dont mean to, this is the way I see it. I will leave one/some of your men alive) and as the second one went to hack him, he grabbed its wrists and the ended up struggling against each other.

Rafael let forth a flurry of blows against the Broodlord, but the Nid was faster. He decided to play with what looked to be one of his last victims. He ducked, weaved and dodged his way past his fists until one struck him in the face. He snarled angrily and went for a four-armed punch, with claws outstretched against the foe...

Nunez (he may survive, the Hive Mind has granted him his life) almost found himself overwhelmed by his foe. The genestealer seemed to be able to predict his every move (think what would happen in the films if this happened)
Every swipe seemed to be parried and followed by an almost deadly counter-attack. It was time to change tactics.

Lol, actually its Aust's stalker who has finally taken on his identity, but failed in the sense that they created a new acount to do so! And they put Neo in front to try and make it sound cool because they don't want to admit that they have no life and so pretend that they know people and start talking to them.

Yes, the truth has come out. It's too obvious, I know too much about stalkers not too be one! :headbang:

Austin draw his blood sword from the beasts ribcage and looked to see how the fight was going, he saw the excutioner defeat one opperponent and then wreastle with the other. Cheaking his plasma gun cartrages Austin draw the gun and fired three shots across the room towards the creature.

Erm... did you not realise that they are struggling around on the floor, so there's a chance that you could hit the Executioner? If you'd have said that he aimed until he got a clear line at the genestealer then fair enough, but I've gotta wait till Shinbreaker posts

OOC: SYF, can Rafael live aswell, its just I was hoping for a more heroic, Inquisitor like death for him. You can kill off Dukov though! :D Thanks.

IC: Rafael felt the claws penetrate his armour and dig into his flesh. He felt warm blood washing over his body, and he howled with rage. He kicked the broodlord off him, drawing his daemonhammer to banish it from existence. The runes on the sides glowed with holy light as the weapon sensed the kill coming to it as Rafael raised it into the air. Reciting the Canticles of Faith and Purity, Rafael brought the weapon down on the broodlord's head.

The plasma round just missed the Executioner as he grappled with the genestealer on the floor, his strength just equalling that of the beast, but his energy was fading. He launched another headbutt at it, so he could free his right hand. He plunged it to his belt, unclipping the bundle of grenades that were strapped there. He brought them up, pulling out the pins with his teeth. The creature seemed to realise what he was doing, and sank its claws deeper into him. He hardly felt the pain of the deep, mortal blows. He could feel the Emperor watching over him, taking him painlessly from his mortal life, as the grenades detonated in his hand, bathing him in holy flame.

Nunez was frustrated by the swiftness of the genestealer, and knew the tactic he would soon have to employ. He pushed it back, giving him a few seconds respite to view his surroundings. He saw the Commisar firing his plasma gun, unaware of the Tyranid lurking near him, about to strike. Nunez made to shout a warning, but the explosion from across the room drowned out his voice. He looked over in dismay as his colleague was blown apart, along with the Tyranid he had been fighting. Their bodies muffled the explosion so that it did not harm anyone else, but the corpses were vaporised in the blast. He turned his sadness into anger, and threw himself back at the genestealer, thinking of nothing but its death.

(This is going to be slightly GMish, so apologies.)
Dukov was just outside as the explosion tore the human and the genestealer apart, and came into the room as its occupants reeled in the shock. He saw Nunez hurling himself at one creature, and the Inquisitor roaring Holy Scriptures as he made to destroy the leader. He looked over to the Commisar, standing with his plasma gun. Beside him a Tyranid made to pounce. Dukov dived across the room, placing himself in the way of the genstealer's lunge. He screamed in agony as the thing's talons tore flesh from his bones, and its acid dissolved his tissue. He rolled into the wall, the creature on top of him. He gripped its arms tightly and looked up at the startled Commisar. He drew on his last reserves of strength to speak to the man. "Waste the motherfucker." With that Lieutenant Andreo Dukov died, moments before the plasma disintegrated the creature above him.

OOC: I'll post again soon. Just giving Theao more time to do something before I do something to his orcs :P

To me, it looks like he has stopped this. Either that, or he has had a very serious problem with his computer, and hasn't been able to get on for almost a month.

Well it's too late, the shots disappeared into the fireball.

Shinbreakers, most of that post was godmoding! I'm fairly sure that that's all of my genestealers dead. So, it now turns out that I forgot about the one that was hiding in the shadows...
He saw Rafael finishing off the broodlord. The genestealer felt a pain deep inside him. The genestealer (Now called Tom) had never personally known the Norn-Queen that spawned him. The broodlord had been like a father to Tom. He was unfamiliar with these feelings inside him. He also felt something wet dripping down his face, which was strange as Nids do not have tear ducts. He felt the depression turn to a new emotion. This one seemed red, yes, red! Tom's blood was boiling. He roared "DADDY!" as he ran out and grabbed Rafael's nearest limb, which happened to be his leg, hacking it, slashing it and biting it in the hope that somehow it would bring his beloved broodlord back.
Unfortunately Rafael saw heard and even felt Tom coming, but couldn't react in time to stop him rendering his leg useless.

Yes, he may survive, but with only one leg!

OOC: I'm pretty sure it's not a problem with Theao's computer, as I'm in other rps with him and it's fine. Sorry SYF, but there's not really much else for me to do but go after you, as Chaos isn't responding.

IC: O'Shovah heard the words of O'Or'es through the intercom, over the din of battle and his Tau firing rapidly. However, now that the Chaos had retreated, they were faced with no enemies. He responded to O'Or'es, "Commander, the Imperials appear to be taking quite a beating from the Tyranids. Although it will mean subjecting our troops to some danger, I believe it is necessary for us to close with them." With that, he gestured to his squads, and their jump-packs came to life as they flew down to alight on the ground halfway across the street from the ajar door to the Imperial building. "Open FIRE!" O'Shovah shouted, and a volley of plasma rifles blasted out, towards the genestealers and Broodlord. O'Shovah hoped the Imperials were not hit, but his men had taken careful aim, so he was reasonably confident. However, he realized that the plasma rifles, through dangerous, would not kill a Broodlord. After releasing a round on his, he flew closer, and let out his fusion blaster on the Broodlord.

At the same time, Vre'Shi flew down the stairs of the Imperial building, and into a scene of chaos, with the men and the tyranids grappling, and Tau fire tearing into them from the other side. He saw Nunez fighting a Genestealer near him, and activated his flamer, singeing the beast. Knowing that this would unfortunately do very little to stop it, he also raised his plasma rifle, trying to aim carefully in the melee.

I'm sorry Caladonn but ur being really stupid. The broodlord is dead. Everything is dead. I AM DEAD!!! If you'd bother to read the posts them you'd find that I took a beating from them, with Tom (or was it Tim?) being the last (and first) emotional Nid alive!!

OOC: 'Fraid you're wrong here SYF, you still had a genestealer (fighting Nunez) left, it was only pushed back. And I never killed the broodlord, I left that decision up to you. I did kill two of the genestealers, at the expense of two of my own men, which I think is a more than fair deal. So if you don't mind, Tom will never exist, Rafael's leg will stay were it is supposed to, and we can continue on those two remaining fights; where the situation is now the Commisar standing about somewhere; Rafael hitting the broodlord; and Nunez and Vre'Shi fighting the lone genestealer. OK?

Oh right, sorry Caladonn.

IC: The remaining genestealers came under fire from the Tau. Together, the broodlord and genestealer charged at the Tau (the broodlord making sure that the genestealer went first). The genestealer fell, shot to pieces... (Caladonn, where are you firing from?)

OOC: Apology accepted, I suppose...
Vre'Shi is firing from the stairs, and everyone else is firing from outside the door.

IC: The battlesuit squad jump-packed back, while continuing the rapid rate of fire with their plasma rifles. O'Shovah, however, with his other bodyguard, opened up with their deadly fusion blasters on the broodlord. Ripping through flesh like water, it was sure to do quite hefty damage to the beast.

The Broodlord, the last of his brood, was carved open like a thanksgiving turkey! As his body (the various parts of it) dropped to floor, microscopic spores were released into the atmosphere. Even though this had not been planned, this had happened everytime a Nid-ork died. These little fungi would eventually stop somewhere and grow into an army of various species of Nid-Orks. The Broodlord's spores would make the strongest of the horde. The Tau had unwittingly managed to make the war against the Xenos a hell of a lot harder. The battle against the mutants has only just begun. Even the Hive Mind hadn't predicted that this would happen. This was only the beginning...

To be continued!!!

If you decide to do that, just ignore the fact that I am human (and marine for that matter) ;)

As with Theao, I'll pm him. If he doesn't reply or give an explanation soon, his orcs may die under mysterious circumstances, and Paleneus will discover that his sword has accidentally collided with all the orcs. ;)
