25 Billion years ago he had taken the throne of Death. He was the son of two Gods. His name was lost to eternity, remembered only in the mind of his Father, for this child had taken his mothers life to gain more power. Over the past 25 billion years the child and his Father fought each other. It was prophicised that the God and his Son would meet one last time at a final battle. This is that story. Follow along, as I tell you the tale, of, The Fall of Death.

"The time has come Shan, I want your powers. You say you won't do it, so let me prove to you I'm serious." death said. Death showed shan an image of some Glowing threads.
"These threads allow people to remain alive. When a person dies, their thread snaps." Death said. He took one thread, and twisted it a little, pulled it a little, and it snapped. A grey class mage somewhere drops dead in front of Mith and Jalron for no appearent reason.
"Opps, how clumsy of me. You can see how delicate these things are." death said.
He played with another, Shan could see one of Warfare's followers Drop dead as death snapped the string.
"My, but these things are delicate." Death said.
Death took out another, Shan could see Rhenna. Death pulled her string to the breaking point. Rhenna would feel a great deal of stress at this point.
"Now, this is your only chance, come over to my side, our Rhenna dies, right here, right now, and will be all your fault because you refused to help me, becoming the guiltiest Murderer in history. What will it be, her life, or your servitude?" Death asked. He was no longer playing around. He was playing for keeps.

Mith knelt down next to the fallen mage. She looked up, her eyes glinting cold steel beneath her mask. "He is here." She stood.

Yes, inde -- *Rhenna's body temperature suddenly drops, and pain stabs through her, as she feels like she's being torn apart. She abruptly curls up.*

S -- I don't have Haldosir anymore...so...

Mith bursts into the room. "Ignore him, Shan. *Addressing Death, her tone commanding.* Leave this child, and touch none in my country before it is their time. Do not make me come see you myself...because you know how badly that would end for you."

He even felt the change in her body temperature, and it all happened so quickly that he didn't see it happen. The next thing he knew, she was curled up, facing away from him.

Oh shit... could he really be trying to do it?

He rolled off the bed, and ghosted through the bed to get to the other side, where he went down on one knee, fear in his eyes,"Rhenna? Rhenna! Can you hear me?"

Rhenna's eyes were tightly shut, and she could feel the hand of Death upon her. She was fighting it with everything she had, fighting for her life. It took so much of her concentration to combat what she was going through that she wasn't able to shut it all off from her husband.

Outwardly, she made no sign that she had heard him at all.

Death started twisting and turning Rhenna's thread. He took out Mith's, he had planned for such an occasion, and played with Mith's as well.
"You old bat, I am nowhere near there. Fine. Keep the child. I shall simply have to destroy you all, using your own powers." Death sneered. He put the threads away. The door locked and closed itself. Death was shocked that it did that, no matter, he would get it open later.
Death cast another dark spell. It hit Mith, Shan, Anna, Rhenna, Cougar, Renor, and for reasons only death knew, the Queen Sliver.
A dark mist rose out of their bodies, and formed into a twin of them, only Evil, and dedicated to Death. The clones were evenly matched with the good one in every way shape and form.
"Destroy them all." Death thundered from his throne.
With a moments hesitation, the evil clones attacked.
Turmoil spread among the Slivers as the two queens fought each other.
The evil Queen sliced and diced the Good queen. The Good Queen whipped the evil one with her tail. Fangs were barred and sunk into each other, a colossal Death hiss was heard, and the evil Queen lay dead, and the good queen weak. the essence slivers gathered around, and healed their Queen.
The evil clones looked at their good counter parts.
"I must destroy you, for it is Death's will." they said seconds before attacking.
OOC: Your going to have to control your evil counter part and your good one. I left obvious holes in this. Exploit them.

Cougar felt twinges of pain, enough to know that she was blocking most of it out... but she couldn't block all of it. He noted the lack of response, and fear began to rise in his gullet.

He shut his eyes himself, and all but yelled,Renor!Vedt! We have a problem

As he finished this, the evil clone appeared behind him, and struck him in the back of the head. He was knocked against the wall, the breath knocked out of him. Oh holy shit...

S -- This isn't good... He ducked under a blow from his evil counterpart. The only magicks he had weren't quite enough to kill yet, and his fighting skills...hah. Wait... Shan put his weight on the balls of his feet, and brought his hands up. In several swift movements (aided by having practiced with Cougar and Haldosir) he came at his counterpart...who blocked. They went back and forth, neither really having an advantage, until something flicked on in Shan's eyes...it was not emotion...it was knowledge. Drawing back his hands, he gathered white energy, lanced with Life energy, blasting through the death-created phony, and destroying it.

Mith stood there, looking at her "counterpart" and shaking her head. "Do you have any idea just how stupid you look, a Death's Creation, wearing my robes?"

DM -- "How different are we, really, save in name?"

Dark magick springs from the one, light magick from the other. The attacks, Life and Death magick, crash against each other repeatedly, neither seeming to have an advantage. The battle lasted, neither giving nor taking ground. Dark Mith grew angry and impatient, and started putting more energy behind her attacks. Mith started giving ground, slowly but surely, until her counterpart's attacks began to weaken. Then, summoning the strongest Life-given spell she knew, she lashed out at her counterpart...who was consumed by it.

M -- Living, Shan?

S -- I think so. Are you okay, though?

M -- I go through worse on a day-to-day basis, child.

Rhenna felt her life returning, and opened her eyes in time to move to avoid a clawed hand striking down where her head had been. Tumbling backwards off the bed, she transformed into her half-dragon state, and lunged at her counterpart. Clawed fingers raked against scaled flesh, and blood poured from open wounds. Acid splashed in places when one or the other tried to bite, and the acrid stench of burning flesh rose from those wounds. Rhenna began digging into her "twin," smacking her around over and over, then standing on her tail to deliver a kick that smashed her right into Cougar's counterpart. She spat acid at the both of them, and the half-dragon lunged back at her. Rhenna was ready, waiting, and with a deceptively graceful flick of her wrist, she sliced through the throat of her counterpart. Shaking off what acid she conveniently could, she waited to see if James needed any further assistence.

R -- I'll see to your problems once I'm done with mine.

Neither Renor wasted any time with words, they merely moved to act. A blade forged of darkness sprang from the hands of the Death-puppet, while Renor himself solidified Fieros. In a graceful, deadly dance they came, each toward the other, every blow intended to kill, and magickal attacks disrupting the balance. Simultaneously, they cast Ultimat at each other, the green spell taking up energy, and acting as another sword. Using this to his advantage, Renor came in close, having his Fieros blade countered with the Shadow Blade. He spat out a verbal curse, which hit the other mage full on, destroying him. Renor let his Ultimat and Fieros blades dissolve.

A -- Is that what my hair really looks like today?

The barb was made without humor, as both called forth the crescent-bladed staff that was almost unique to the Kaymirilian Princess. Spells glittered along the length of the blades, and they attacked each other with no mercy, spells flying, energy crackling, and staves sounding against each other with resounding crashes. Soon, Anna sees her opening, and unleashing the chain that held the crescent blade, decapitated her Dark Twin.

A -- This is why you don't mess with a Maril in full power. Because she's smarter than you. *She banishes her weapon and turns away.

The clones were defeated.
"Bah, who needed such nonsense anyway?" Death thought. He strode up and down the length of a corridor in his temple.
"Who can I destroy them without wasting half my forces to do so? Wait, I do control it now, I know, I'll send him, after them. yes, him." Death thought.
"Dread of the beasts, terror of nature, I command you, awaken, and hunt in Kaymiril." Death ordered.

A great beast appeared in Kaymiril. Every bit as large as Metal gear, it had great horns on its back. This beast was seen in random places only once every few decades, and then only for a few days. No one who encountered it lived, no matter how powerful they were. It was called the Terrasque, and it was the terror of Mortals. spotting a nearby town, the Terrasque walked on over and began to eat it. Buildings, people and all. Death had put an insaitible hunger, and insaitible need to hunt in it.

As Dark Cougar was sent flying, James stood up and shook himself,"Great. I was just on the verge of getting a good sleep, and now you come and interrupt"

DC -- *Gets up* I can and will beat you.

Dark Cougar launches an attack with his bare hands. He doesn't carry the Gunblade that Cougar normally does, and although he has seemingly the same skill, his opponent easily fends off the attacks

C -- You have all my skill, but no expierence. This should be easy*points to the acid burns*I'd keep an eye on that*points at pools of acid*And those

DC -- How dare you!

He tries to get in close with his elbow, but James is more than ready. Catching his opponent in mid-movement, there was a sickening snap as the elbow is fractured. Dark Cougar fell to the floor, writhing in pain at what Cougar has just done to him

C -- That's going to hurt

Dark Cougar got to his feet, and White Flame, tainted by Death, pulsed around him. He launched a magickal attack, trying to defeat his opponent by other means. James merely blocked the attack, causing it to return in his oppenents direction. Dark Cougar was lifted off his feet and thrown against the wall, ribs cracking under the impact. James was standing, but only barely. The fight was taking it's toll on him, more than he was showing. His breathing was heavy and ragged, his hair stained with grime from his impacts. The fight wore on, both of them suffering injuries. The air around them began to smell of copper, the stench of human blood. Cougar eventually managed to gain a small advantage, and brought his hands into the delta formation that he had been working on.

C -- You have been a fine match... but I never wanted to use this. It appears I have no choice in the matter. You are not me... therefore you can never beat me. Now leave us!

The White Flame exploded, the seering delta flying across the room and striking Dark Cougar in the chest. He screamed, and disintegrated where he stood. James stood, wavering, before collapsing to one knee

Haldosir and Nervim, newly reincarnated, both sensed the Terrasque. A feral grin tugged at Haldosir's lips. "I always wanted to take on one of these."

N -- Gods of Chaos, wasn't the Dragon enough?

H -- *thinks a moment* That was seven hundred years ago. We need one more really powerful mage, I think...

Vedt appears nearby. "Which is why I'm here."

N -- Velkyn...you seem to be everywhere these days. We only ever saw one once during our lifetimes.

V -- Different times, different scenarios, different tools.

H -- Well spoken. Let's go.

*They teleport to the Terrasque, and Vedt raises his hands, letting himself gather the second-most powerful destruction spell known to the Black-Class mages. He unleashes it with the force of several nuclear bombs.*

Rhenna banished the acid, and changing back into her human form, kneels next to her husband. "Can you stand?"

He looked back at her,"Yes, just barely" He struggled to his feet, feeling his broken ribs under his skin,"You alright?"

The Terrasque roars in pain. Part of what makes the Terrasque so frightning is its Regenerative capabilities. Its flesh nitted itself closed and with in seconds the Terrasque came charging at the three intent on eating them.

Not answering, she places a hand gently on his chest. A diagnostic spell rippled through him, and she looks up, blood flowing down her cheek from a gash on her forehead.

"Brace yourself...this is going to hurt."

His ribs snap back into place, and are bound by a healing spell, which follows up by healing whatever internal injuries he may have had and the worst of the external ones, leaving the small ones (2 in long by 1.5 mm deep max) alone.

Looking around, she expends a little more energy to fix up the room from its now-utterly destroyed state. "Get some rest, James...I have to clean myself up before joining you tonight."

Costh, having felt the aura of Death decided to send his mind looking for any major abnormalities. He found the Terrasque, a creature that should be sleeping. He decided that while he may be unable to stop it he could at least slow it down till someone who could stop it could arrive.

He warped to the town that the Terrasque had been eating and seeing it go after 3 people, used a rune to turn the ground under it to the equivilent of a tarpit.

The mages/warmancer teleported from the beast's path, each leaving behind an explosive spell for when it came in contact with it. Hovering in the air, they prepared for battle.

Meanwhile, Anna was on her way.

OOC: Has Death summoned the creatures yet?

He smiled weakly,"Don't be too long. I would kiss you, but I don't want acid burns"

Having finished up, he sank into sleep, and would not wake for six hours

Costh spun from the Terrasque, but recived a cut from the tail and a slash in the arm from the claw. He then used a levitation rune to float about 15 meters above the Terrasque. "Hey all I did was try to slow you and you have the gall to attack me?" As he said that he fired two bolts of flame targeting the beasts eyes.

The Fire struck the Terrasque, blinding it. its eyes regenerated. The terrasque tried to simply eat this human.

Costh remained floating above the Terrasque and seeing that it would regenrate changed his tactics. He used 3 runes, one to create a horribly strong and pungent oder in it's nose, a blinding light, as if it were gazing into the sun, in it's eyes, and a lot of loud noise in it's ears.

She's still sleeping it off, and I only just woke up. I don't really blame either of you. I would not wish to fight Rhenna Half-Dragon...nor would you, I am sure.

Cougar severed the link, and relaxed next to his wife. It had been some time since they had been together for any length of time. He smiled, and laid his hand on her arm

Rhenna gradually became aware of a dull pain throughout her entire body, and as she worked her way back to conciousness, she became aware of greater pains that were persistant, and burning pains.

She became aware of a hand on her arm (which was fortunately not in as bad condition as the rest of her) and stirred, opening her eyes. She turns over onto her back and looks over at her husband.

"Well, good morning."

The warrior drew his blade.
"Hee, of course not." He said. If Warrior had been a mortal man, he would be both a Barbarian, and a trained Fighter.
The Warrior threw himself onto a rage, and flew for the terrasque. The Blade cut deep, but the flesh knitted itself closed. Warrior shifted electric, and sliced his way into the terrasque. The Terrasque lay writhing on the ground in pain, unimaginable electricity flowing through its body. Eventually, its brain threw off death's grip. The warrior shifted soothing, and put the Terrasque to sleep. Then he teleported out.
"I will send him away, but I do not have the heart to kill it." Warrior said. so saying, the Terrasque disappeared with a snap of Warrior's fingers.

Death stormed to the central chamber. He began chanting an all but forgotten spell. The warrior would pay for this....

Warrior was the first to hear it. It took away his ability to stay in one shape. The warrior fell to the ground writhing in pain. Everyone heard the evil voice chanting.
"farthe van ques ixt`ill nay nos fundergrat nineas por'ghre mil domina"
It was repeated over and over again. The warrior lost cohesion, and became an elemental storm. A great earthquake spread throughout Kaymiril that could not be calmed. A storm unlike any other filled the sky. Bolts of fire struck at forests. Drops of acid splashed everywhere. Water flowed towards the sky. and Rocks, large ones at that, fell from the sky. The storm caused magic to go heywire.

*Anna holds out her hand and chants a spell. What appear to be glowing ribbons seem to come out of her hand, and they slash at the warrior's parts. Their actions combine with a spell Anna chants, to banish it until she could again safely summon it.*

He couldn't believe his stupidity... he needed to apologise for that one. But now whilst she was teaching, that would only make her angry. No, much better to wait until they could talk without people listening in

Death retreated for now. He would let them have a few days before before he went to step two. Meanwhile, he called out to Fortune and Metal Gear.
"Fortune, Metal Gear, are the two of you ready? your part in this comes up in exactly two days. I will be sending the summons with you. I want Snake Eater Prime under my control." Death said. He sounded like he was next to both of them.

While he awaited a response, he went to Hell, and gathered all the fiends of the elements together in one spot. There were feinds for each element, Magical, scientific, or otherwise, plus feinds for each emotion.
"We will not let you down this time master. we failed because we were seperate. We have watched those that defeated us, we have learned the value of teamwork, thus, we worked out a new combined attack system. We will become, what will be known as the Omni-mental. None shall defeat us." The Rubicant of Fire said. He was the bravest of them all, around Death.

T'puuli felt a flash of intuition hit her like a brick wall. Plak'la, who was nearby (a phenomenon that seemed to be occurring more and more often since she'd told him she was expecting their second child...), looked up.

P -- What is it?

T -- Send word to everyone. Tell them this: Prepare. I don't know what is coming...but I do know that whatever it is will be out for blood.

Plak'la nods and goes to relay the message.

Several of the Fiends were wary about going against their rightful Warlord. Apollylon was defeated by Galvenor in single hand to hand combat and held the title of Warlord of Hell. Several clambered to Death's Call but there were noticable fewer numbers than was expected.

Within his chamber, galvenor mediteted. Siddenly his eyes snapped open. He could feel the Minions of Hell. Some Power was attempting to sway them away from his control. There were few beings who could do this. He must warn the others immediately.

Galvenor closed his eyes, flet for the Conduit and located the connections his friends had. He sent a message along those lines of power.

"Death is attempting to rally the Armies of Hell. Be wary."

R -- Galvenor, can you locate me? If so, come to Rendelmar. We're going to need your help in the upcoming battles.

Galvenor sent a thought to Kaymiril.

“I will join you as soon as possible. I have to make some arrangements first that might hinder the recruitments of the Minions of Hell.”

Galvenor carefully thought for a few seconds before formulating a plan. He quickly summoned his demonic lackey. The demon he spared during the battle with Apollyon and his army suddenly appeared. Turning around it realized where it was and fell onto its face in front of Galvenor.

“Master, what are your wishes?”

"I want you to go down to the Plains of Oblivion and speak for me. You have to convince the other demons if they follow anyone but their rightful Warlord into battle I will personally make them wish they marched against the gates of Heaven. I will make their tortures last an eternity. They will end up wishing I made them clean the sewers of Heaven with their tongues. I will grant you Pseudo-Immortality so they cannot hurt you while you are following my orders. Show them you cannot be touched by their powers. Show them you are stronger than any of the other demon lords.”

“Yes Master. I will leave immediately.”

Galvenor gestured and threw a Geas, Contingency, and Pseudo-Immortality upon the demon groveling before dim. The demon quickly stood and vanished.

Galvenor Sealed his sanctuary and willed himself to where Kaymiril was waiting.

He hung his head,"You're right to be angry, I'm an idoit. I was dissapointed that you were leaving so quickly, and I didn't hide it well enough. Death retreated for now. He would let them have a few days before before he went to step two. Meanwhile, he called out to Fortune and Metal Gear.
"Fortune, Metal Gear, are the two of you ready? your part in this comes up in exactly two days. I will be sending the summons with you. I want Snake Eater Prime under my control." Death said. He sounded like he was next to both of them.

Fortune stirred. It had been sometime since she had located Metal Gear, and was lazing in it's cockpit. They had been travelling deep space, waiting for the right moment. As she heard her masters call, she replyed,"Yes Master, we are ready. We await your call once more"

OOC:Well, that was the other option I was thinking of. I know Warfare won't be doing anything relativly important. Nor will the slivers. Balrogga usually isn't on when we are, and I'm sure costh won't be doing anything terribly earth shakeing. Most of Kay's characters will probably getting ready in conjunction with Ti'puuli's warning. However, there's Cougar and Rhenna. Since you two will be doing most of the posting for today anyway, perhaps you two could stretch it out over a day and a half or something, and we'll do it that way.

Hell, The Plains of OBlivion:

The demon shifted to the Plains of Oblivion. The desolate emptiness was only broken by the occasional screams of a soul trying to escape, only to be devoured by the landscape itself. The demon waited where it appeared for any place on the Plains of Oblivion could be the center.

After several hours, the Servant of Galvenor noticed a commotion in the distance. Using it’s newly granted power, it caused the ground to rise upwards under its feet. The pillar continued until it was about 20 meters and then stopped. The Servant waited until the horde approached its perch.

Demon raised its arms, stood its tallest and shouted in as loud a voice it could. Galvenor’s magic reinforced its voice so it sounded thunderous and mighty.

“Listen to me. I bring word from our True Master. You are not to follow this upstart. You are to obey your Warlord. Galvenor not only defeated Apollyon single handed but also his entire army. He defeated the strongest of us and therefore earned the right to be the Warlord.”

“If you go against his wished I have been instructed to warn you that you will wish you were cleaning the sewers of Heaven with your tongues before he is finished with you. He will make you suffer endlessly before devouring your souls and your essence like he did to Apollyon and his fallen army.”

One of the horde interrupted him.

“Bullshit, you are just one against many, we can destroy you where you perch, all high and mighty like some little pretty birdie.”

Several demons launched themselves towards the Servant. Three of them never reached it as their bodies burst into white hot Hellfire, burning the soul from within the shell. The remaining two struck the empowered representative of the Warlord. It wend down under their combined weight for a moment only to reappear as the two were thrown from Servant with a blinding flash. The mutilated bodies fall to the plains below. The Servant stood untouched by its attackers.

“See, you cannot hurt me. My Thread of Life has been removed from Fate’s Skein and my master holds it in his own hands and will not allow you to harm me. This is the Power the Warlord wields. You cannot oppose him and think you can survive. Return to your abodes and forget the words of this being that would have you not only march to your deaths but also oppose the will of your True Master.”

The Servant spread its wings and several flashes of lightning crashed down from the ever-present cloud cover, striking those that stood too close to the pillar.

“The Servant of The Warlord of Hell has spoken.”

The Servant took to the sky and disappeared. The pillar crumbled and fell onto the heads of the gathering. The fragments were eventually reabsorbed back into the Plains of Oblivion, as well as any bodies left behind. The horde stood there muttering to themselves for a few minutes before deciding what to do.

It is up to you if any will desert Death. This was mainly meant as an attack against their morale and as a delaying tactic.

OOC: Either way, their going to be hurt. The Feinds Death is after simply stay there, and are not a part of Hells caste system. Hell doesn't even want them because they play havoc with the elements they control, and have made it to where for them, Hell is even more pleasant then paradise. However, Death also wants the armies of hell, a good portion of which, Apollyon controlled. We'll see how they feel when the time comes.

I traded it, and his dominion of hell for a chance for him to be free. I tried to warn him against simply rushing back, and look what happened, the bearer of the Black flame destroyed him. The warlord might have power, he might think himself mighty, but why follow a mere prince when you can follow the King.If you do not rise up and help me, I will do things to each and every one of you that are so dark and gruesome, It'll make licking Heaven's sewers clean a blessing. Those that do help will shiver in fear for eons at the memory of what happened to those who didn't. Rise up, and destroy the one that claims to be warlord, rise up, and destroy him, and his impunity. Or sit back, and be tortured beyond any possible Imagination, and trust me, you won't DIE." Death threatened. The Hellspawn knew they were between a rock and a hard place. There question was, torture A, or torture B. Death was known for keeping his word. this new warlord, was he? But licking the sewers clean? They had quite a choice to make.

The Galaxy-class U.S.S Hades sat in space, monitoring the reactions within a nearby protostar for High Command. In his command chair, Captain Templer gazed listlessly at the screen in front of him. ONe of the old guard, he missed the days when Snake Eaters was always involved in a conflict of some kind. He was just reading through the daily status report when the Ensign at the conn called out,"Sir, we're picking up something on sensors... I've never seen anything like it before."

Metal Gear Leviathan came into view. It's ability to cruise in deep space was a godsend for Fortune, who wanted to make her prescense known to Snake Eaters,"Alter course, and arm weapons. Let us make an example of them"

The laser on the underbelly of Metal Gear, the same one that had nearly killed Cougar not two months previously, began to glow with ungodly energies. It pulsed with red energy, and Metal Gear was straining to hold it back.

The red energy lanced out towards the Hades, and the ship was not going to be able to move in time...

T -- Red Al.................

He never finished the sentence. The Hades exploded silently in space, the debris scattering across the nearby area. The explosion of her warp-core would be detected, and Metal Gear had dropped a beacon

They continued on, towards Snake Eater Prime...

Galvenor sent a thought to Kaymiril.

“I will join you as soon as possible. I have to make some arrangements first that might hinder the recruitments of the Minions of Hell.”

Galvenor carefully thought for a few seconds before formulating a plan. He quickly summoned his demonic lackey. The demon he spared during the battle with Apollyon and his army suddenly appeared. Turning around it realized where it was and fell onto its face in front of Galvenor.

“Master, what are your wishes?”

"I want you to go down to the Plains of Oblivion and speak for me. You have to convince the other demons if they follow anyone but their rightful Warlord into battle I will personally make them wish they marched against the gates of Heaven. I will make their tortures last an eternity. They will end up wishing I made them clean the sewers of Heaven with their tongues. I will grant you Pseudo-Immortality so they cannot hurt you while you are following my orders. Show them you cannot be touched by their powers. Show them you are stronger than any of the other demon lords.”

“Yes Master. I will leave immediately.”

Galvenor gestured and threw a Geas, Contingency, and Pseudo-Immortality upon the demon groveling before dim. The demon quickly stood and vanished.

Galvenor Sealed his sanctuary and willed himself to where Kaymiril was waiting.
Renor was sitting at a table with his Chosen, Vedt, across from him. Between them, spread over the table, was a vast map of the galaxy. They had pinpointed likely spots for Death to try and erupt.

R -- Galvenor...glad you could join us. What do you think of this...and where do you think they'll strike first...other than the Terrasque, of course.

He relaxed, and returned to the room.Time for another contact attempt. He tried for an hour to establish a connection... still nothing. He sat back, rubbing his temples,What could be wrong?

Two or three hours pass, and she still hasn't returned.

He wondered where she was, then pushed it into the back of his mind,She's still angry... and most likely got engrossed in that spell. She can take as long as she wants and needs.

With his mind calm, he settled back, and slipped into sleep. He'd started taking suppressents to quell the dream for a time, but he couldn't take them often. One night in four was the limit, and he stuck to that rigidly

When he woke, he'd find that she hadn't been there at all.

He rose, and went back to his training. It was becoming tougher, faster, more challenging. Just the way he liked it. His arm was healing, but still faster than normal. After a few hours though, he stopped. He couldn't explain... something felt... wrong. Looking around he saw Jovin walking past,"Jovin, can I talk to you?"

I dunno much...I think there are two stories. One of them was that one of her friends had to go out, and they were arguing about something before he left, and he basically told her to get out. He was dealing with a temporal beast...and sort of...got lost.

Once he had left, Cougar stood where he was, before putting his fist straight through the block he had been using. He brought his bloodied knuckles up, and stared at them. He would still be there for a while

In the cavern, Rhenna barely took the time to glance down from the text she'd brought with her to glance at her hand. Deciding that whatever injury Cougar had inflicted upon himself was not severe, she went back to studying.

After a while, he let the Flame ripple across it, binding it shut. He'd only ever done that once before, and now here he was doing it all over again. Hurting someone he truly cared for because of his own ignorance. And what could he do? Nothing

Rhenna eventually moves back to the library.

After what seemed like an age, he felt her move to the libary. Shaking himself, he followed her, trepidition growing in each step. As he entered the libary, he saw her standing, reading a new book. She would have heard him enter, so he simpy went for what he thought best. Stepping closer to her, and placing his palms on her shoulders, he came up right behind her,"Evening"

He took her arm, and led her to the sand room that they had spent time in on other occasions before. He pulled up a chair for her, letting himself remain standing, before moving his hands quickly and expertly in small patterns. As he did so, images of them together, such as the first time they kissed, their original flirtation on Mirroden, all flowed togther to from two words, wreathed in flame.

'I'm sorry'

Any remaining anger Rhenna felt left her, and she took his hand.

"You didn't know what the reaction would be...I should apologize, as well."

He stood stoically,"You don't need to aplogise. What you did was justified. It was my own ignorance that caused this... nothing more"

Despite his words, he gripped her hand softly, running his thumb over her knuckles as he did so

She stood there a moment, something weighing on her mind. Hesitantly, she began to speak.

"I have heard those words phrased in various ways half a dozen times over the centuries. Each time, it translated roughly to 'leave me now, because I am leaving you.' It hurt, hearing it come from you. I know that you have no intentions of leaving...but with things being what they are...and none of the others lived longer than seventy-two hours after they said it."

Her hand, which normally warms up from it's 89.9 odd degrees when he's holding it, is cold.

Death was watching them, all of them, in his temple, via a very large orb. Not just any orb, the Mirari.

"Love, how sickening." Death said aloud to no one in particular.
"But, Master, Love is a very common emotion." The Mirari said.
"I know that. Who asked you anyway? Now then, what could possibly drive those two apart? I know, He seems to always skid around on the brink of putting his foot in his mouth. I think I'll send the spirit of foolishness down there with the spirit of Hate. I'll make them say things to each other they'll regret, and then have hate fill the void where love once stood. They'll hate each other and their bond will dissolve. Best of all, who could possibly know I did it?*Evil laughter* Foolishness, Hate, attack Col. James and Rhenmat Cougar. Dissolve their bond and put a crack on their side. Those fools will be the downfall of Good. Aha Aha ahahahahahahaaaaaaaaa!"Death cried with Glee.

Subtly, softly, Foolishness crept into Cougar and Rhenna's hearts. Hate waited, beyond the senses, ready to creep in. Any wrong doing, any thing saqid wrong, or not said at all. Any little hurt would be exploited, any sign of weakness. Death watched everybody again through the Mirari, waiting, waiting for another oppurtunity, to strike where they would least expect it.

Rhenna's eyes narrowed, and she sent a diagnostic spell running through the both of them. Nothing physically wrong...not any more than usual... She switched to any odd sort of sense or non-corporeal creature, and she found it...she wasn't quite sure what it was, but she cast a spell that manifested behind them. It formed as a drow woman who blew at them, blowing the spirit of foolishness out of them and forcing it to manifest physically.

Death let out a frustrated scream all of Rendelmar could clearly hear. All plant life in and around Rendelmar curled up and died. He banished the spirits.

Renor's head snapped up from the map he was looking at, and he looked at his Chosen, who quickly left the room. Finding that all that was wrong was that all plantlife had died, he set up teams to start repairing it.

Two days later.

Death sat on his throne. He had allotted enough time to those imbecils. They should have calmed down by now. He waved a hand, and the Mirari vanished. It appeared in the pits of hell, and took all the Fiends of the Elements to Kaymiril. At the same time, death spoke audibly to Fortune inside the Metal Gear cockpit, although he did not manifest.

Metal Gear cockpit.
"Fortune, the time has come. Take Metal Gear and get to Snake eater Prime Now. Look out your window, The dragon with the five heads is Tiamet, queen of the evil dragons. The Giant Serpant is Jormangundr, and the Train, is Doomtrain. Those are three of the summons, the rest ride within Doomtrain. All the summons can hear you as if you stood next to them. I have commanded them to follow my orders first, and yours second, and for now, they follow yours. use their powers wisely. Do not fail me." Death said, his voice vanished. The summons waited expectantly for Fortune. It was obvious, that they could easily match speeds with Metal Gear.

Kaymiril.
The Feinds of all elements, Magical, scientific, or otherwise, appeared, along side the feinds of Emotions. They circled the Mirari numerous times.
The Mirari began to spin rapidly, as it did, it sang a Thernody about an innocent man who tried to please the Gods and failed, even though he did what they asked. The Mirari waited for people to notice, and for the great masters, the elite mages of Kaymiril to appear. Mirari's song was heard all over Kaymiril, and inspired thoughts of suicide to any who heard it for extended periods of time.


OOC: Thernody = term used for an extremly sad and depressing song.

All the mages sensed it, and they all came. Haldosir, Nevrim, and Anna joined the eight Masters of Magick.

H -- Princess, why are you here?

A -- To fight this...monstrosity. Besides, I've defeated that thing *Mirari* before.

N -- Where is the Maril sword?

A -- We never use it. Aside from that, I work best with my Jakujou.

The mages gather their power and wait.

Costh, having finished his training, listened to the dirge of the Mirari and enjoyed the music.

The Mirari stopped singing, but it continued to spin. Rubicant of fire stepped up.
"We have returned. Thank you, for destroying us last time, it taught us that we are weak individually, but together, we are strong. This is an invaluble lesson. Allow us to demonstrate this." Rubicant said. The Mirari faded as it spun. Rubicant turned back to the mages.
"I heal all of you to full power. Fight with all of your might, and do not insult us by dying to soon." Rubicant said.


The Feinds began to glow, they turned to energy, and migrated to the spot where the Mirari had been. A great ball of white energy began to grow. Soon it was finished. It coalesed, and became solid.
"I am the Omni-mental feind of the elements. Taste your doom." It said. It began to spin. Thousands of mini-portals opened accross Kaymiril. Omni-mental Fiend minions poured out accross Kaymiril and began attacking.

Warfare realesed an ungodlike epithet. Metal Gear and the summons were headed for Snake eater Prime, and the Omni-mental Feind just popped up in Kaymiril. He thought carefully. He was needed in both spots.
"Queen Sliver, go, and take your children with you to Kaymiril. Aid Princess Anna and the Elite mages in their fight against the Omni-mental Feind and its minions." Warfare ordered.
"Yesss, Massster." The Queen hissed in a particularly snake like manner.
The Ancestors opened portals to Kaymiril. The Queen and the slivers decended upon Kaymiril. They began attacking attacking the feinds, but needed the support of the lesser Kaymirilian mages. The Queen herself, followed by five of each breed, flew to the Omni-mental feind itself in order to help Anna and the Elite Mages.
Warfare called to Bahamut.
"Bahamut, as the greatest summons, I command you to fly to Kaymiril, and take Anna, Rhenmet, and Col. James cougar to Snake Eater Prime. Surely you've noticed death has sent the summons along with Fortune and Metal Gear against it. Tell Anna to summon me once she gets there.
"Yes, warfare, but why do I need Col. cougar?" Bahamut asked.
"Because its his country and he knows it real well. He'll be needed to restore order." warfare said. Bahamut flew off.

The Omni-mental Feind. Began spinning at high rates. It began drawing a rune at its center. The purpose, was currently unknown. Omni-mental realeased three quick attacks. One was a blast of negative Energy. The second was a Fire storm, and the third was a powerful Chain lightning attack.

Bahamut landed at Anna's castle.
"Princess Annastrianna D' Maril, I summon you as you summon me. Appear by my side for I have need of your aid.
Col. James Cougar. I, Bahamut, Lord of the Good Dragons summons you. Appear before me for my need is Urgent.
Rhenmet, daughter of Tellryon, appear before me, I summon you." Bahamut bellowed in a voice that could not be ignored.

R -- *Flatly, sarcastically as the Omni-Mental spoke* Well, now I'm really scared.

He counters the Negative Energy, while Aeros takes care of the lightening and Phish gathers all the fire attack to himself, nullifying it.

Ph -- "Ah, you've lost your touch since becoming a many-headed beast. I had more fun last time."

Time and Space warp severely around the Mirari, and lightning joined water, metal bent and ice formed at the center of the Mirari, trying to burst out. Mith watched, for now, and Renor gathered Brittadiet into his hands, and launched it.

Tailing this attack was a spear of Red energy, which had leapt from Haldosir's sword, and a whirling blue attack from one of Nervim's spells that would hit with the force of several hundred nuclear bombs.

Annastrianna, meanwhile cast the spell of the Marils, and had barely snapped it off when she heard Bahamut's call. "What the blazes..."

She teleports to Bahamut, curious as to why he summoned her. She sent a telepathic message to her sister, who joined the mages at the Mirari. She held in her hand a great, sweeping sword.

D -- "Oh, fun."

Rhenna's head snapped up, and her scales seemed to become more prominent for a moment.
"Do you hear that?" She is brought to Bahamut, somehow bringing James along, and automatically reverting to her half-dragon state in his presence.


All over Kaymiril, all mages of all sorts took to battle against the Fiends. They tended to fight anti-elementally, with a small number of any given group being of the same element as the enemy, to protect against the attacks.

Costh who had been relaxing as he listened to the Mirari song was hit from behind by a fiend, that he couldn't ID as he spun around, "Hey, that wasn't nice, now what type of fiend are you?" he said as he activated a shielding rune.

A young Blue-class mage launched an attack at the fiend.

"What kind of mage are you, sitting on your rear-end when there's Chaos at war all over the place? Shoot first, ask questions later..." She turns to launch another attack at a nearby fiend "Or you'll get yourself killed."

OOC: Gotta do two diffrent posts. One for Bahamut, one for the fun.

IC: Bahamut saw anna, cougar, and Rhenna appear. The very first thing he noticed was Rhenna's injuries.
"Dear me! What happened to you Rhenmet? Nevermind. I forgot Death was on the loose." Bahamut said. He gathered his great wings around Rhenna and Cougar. He gathered his energies, and unleashed a Healing breath upon them. He took his wings back. Rhenna and cougar were fully healed with no Physical damage.
"Although its a bit late, congratulations on your marriage. Anyways. Death has taken the summons and sent them against Snake Eater Prime. They follow the commands of one Known as Fortune. She rides a machine called Metal Gear Leviathan. Warfare sent me to take all of you there. If we hurry, maybe we can get there first. Quickly, onto my back, I shall take you all there." Bahamut said. He crouched so the three could get onto his back.

OOC: S.E. The summons get there first. Bahamut and his riders, when you three get on, will arive 30 minuets after the Summons.

"I didn't realize that the fiends were attacking again, I thought they had got the message the last time." Costh replied as he used a rune to blast a different fiend.

Rhenna dips her head in a draconic guesture of thanks at Bahamut's congratulations, and for the final healing that he had bestowed on her and James.

Rn -- Fortune. *The tip of her tail flicks* You should have let me kill her last time, James.

She picks him up and beats her wings, bringing them both onto his back. Anna levitates to just in front of them.

"This means that I won't be able to summon any of them, correct?"

"I didn't realize that the fiends were attacking again, I thought they had got the message the last time." Costh replied as he used a rune to blast a different fiend.
"You need to learn situational awareness, badly."
The blue class mage was attacked by two fiends at once, and as she shot an ice attack at one, the other one leapt in for the killing blow, but was blasted by a column of flame.

"Hey, Water Sprite," said the Red-Class that had just arrived, "Are things getting too hot for you."

B -- "Just hot enough for you to cool off," she responded, blasting him with a lighter version of her water attack.

R -- "That's not fair."

Teaming up, the mages began taking on even more demons than previous, using such techniques as steam screens, etc.

"More than likely yes." Costh replied as he continued blasting various demons and fiends, as well as using a few runes to set some of the fiends against each other.

The Feind Minion laughed at Costh. In a strange voice it said:
"Fool." It continued to fight. A group of Slivers slithered in. A Ward sliver absorbed a lightning bolt. An acid sliver shot some acid at it.
"The Blue clad Mage is correct in this case." The a synapse sliver hissed.

Death felt the attacks on the Mirari. When it disappeared, the Mirari had returned to his temple.
"Mirari, absorb it, absorb it all!" Death ordered. The Mirari managed to absorb the Spells inside it, but not outside. It began to spin at a high rate of Speed. It sent a bolt of Pure temporal Energy lashing out at the Mages. He caused Space to fold uncomfortably around Haldosir and Nevrim.
Omni-mental got hit with Haldosir and Nevrim's attacks, but avoided Anna's. Anti-Magic began to leak out of it. Omni-mental caused fear and Mistrust to settle upon the mages. It spawned a deadly pathogen that would cause any it infected to die within minutse from lack of Breathing. The first it infected was Renor. It would become active in less than five minuets. Omni-mental patched itself up. The Rune spell was completed. The Mages began to be lost within their own minds. Trapped, forever. Physically, they would become a vegitable.

An essence alerted Mith.
"Sister, Quick, the Mage of Black, Renor! He has been infected by the Omni-mental, he will Die if he does not get healed Quickly. Your closer than we are. The Disease causes the infected to stop Breathing!." The Essence hissed as loud as it could. It did not matter though, because Mith heard it within her mind, as the synapse Slivers accross Kaymiril set up the Hive Mind.
A Synapse felt the Maze attack. He went into each Mages mind, and retreatred back out, kinda like leaving them a road map to get out with.
The Queen brought her tail crashing down hard on the Omni-mental. It roared in unexpected pain, and sent spikes shooting back at the Queen.

"Yes Mi'lady, that is correct." Bahamut said.
He beat his wings, and got off the Ground. Fklying around the castle a few times, he took off for snake eater Prime. He saw the Omni-mental below, and launched an Atomic Fireball at it. He put up an Atmosphere around him, and took off at TransWarp 10, a speed that only Bahamut could fly at.

"Enh, it was worth a shot you old demon." Costh said as he sent a fireball into the laughing demon's face, and continued to blast the fiends and demons.

Haldosir slashed out of one end of the space fold as Nevrim teleported his way out of the other. The Temporal energy was countered by Plak'la, and T'puuli sent meteors crashing down on the Omni-Mental, and Renor attacked with Fieros. Phish and Uuthli sent great attacks at it, while Olath'yukin and Aeros combined forces to bombard it with a Tornado. Mith spread a powerful (albiet generic) anti-pathogen through the air, and burned a healing attack at the Omni-Mental while teleporting in to banish the pathogen from Renor's system entirely.

Dora'nes twirled her sword, watching the glow around it grow. When it was right, it struck out in a burst of white light that on its own would rival Ultima for power. However, she had activated a rare gift, available to some few bloodlines only. The attack that smashed at the Mirari was almost twice as powerful as Ultima.

D -- "Be glad it wasn't Anna...she's twice as powerful as me."

H to N -- This would be so much easier if Rildorath were here.

*From behind them* "Someone call me?"

N -- What are you doing here after all this time?

Rl -- *The green-eyed warrior smiled easily* Well, right after that one quest, when I separated from you, I woke up and found myself in this human camp. A human knight was shaking me awake. Went by the name Galahad. I helped him search for this grail thing for a bit, then felt I was needed, and turned back. What year is it?

H -- We died seven hundred years back.

Rl -- Then what are you doing here.

N & H -- Long story.

Rl -- Okay. *He pulls out his sword and positions himself on Haldosir's right, and Nervim takes the left, and they prepare a grand attack*

The Omni-mental was hurting. It bagan to vibrate on a strange frequency. All of the Minions exploded one-by-one in subatomic blasts. The energies, and the spirits of the dead Minions swirled around the Omni-mental. It absorbed, and was healed. The Queen had dodged the spikes. It was obvious to her that this thing would never die and simply keep healing itself. Bahamuts Atomic Fireball hit it, knocking it silly. She saw her chance, and like a Boa constrictor, wrapped herself around the Omni-mental and began squeezing it tight. It Roared. She roared right back. soon she heard a crunch. She slipped off, and as it was healing itself, dislocated her Jaw, and swallowed the Omni-mental whole. She then relocated her Jaw. Her sides visibly trembled as the Omni-mental trid to Fight its way out. The Queen hissed, and every sliver In Kaymiril gathered around her, increasing her strength. Soon, the spasms subsided, as the Omni-mental died. Exhausted, the Queen layed down right there and began to nap. Her body began to work in a new fashion. The Queens ability to lay eggs kicked in. An ability the Old Queen never had a chance to use kicked in, and began disecting the various elemental Feinds. It trapped them in one section of the Queens body, while keeping the essences in another. It bagan compresing the Feinds into very small beings. The emotional elemental fiends, and most of the science Elemental Feinds disapated into Nothing.

Meanwhile...

OOC: Take it away Snake.

She stood there a moment, something weighing on her mind. Hesitantly, she began to speak.

"I have heard those words phrased in various ways half a dozen times over the centuries. Each time, it translated roughly to 'leave me now, because I am leaving you.' It hurt, hearing it come from you. I know that you have no intentions of leaving...but with things being what they are...and none of the others lived longer than seventy-two hours after they said it."

Her hand, which normally warms up from it's 89.9 odd degrees when he's holding it, is cold.

He turned, and knelt next to her, putting both his hands around her one hand,"I spoke to some others, and found that much out myself. I didn't realise how much it would hurt. You're right, I've no intentions of leaving, nor am I going to get myself killed."

As Major Darius looked at the sensor sweep on the main console, he had to blink and then look again. There was... something that he didn't recognise, and then three areas of what could only be described as pure energy. Orbital Defence Platform Phoenix was one of six in orbit around Snake Eater Prime, and they bristled with weapons. Long range railguns and closer ranged phaser banks and quantum torpeados. He tapped his comm-badge,"Red Alert! We have unknown ships Ships? Not likely in Sector 026. Shields up, prepare for gun assualt!"

The weapons systems rotated into life, the power from the fusion generators causing them to hum softly. Charged and ready, they unleashed a hellish volley of fire at the incoming Summons and Metal Gear...

From inside Doomtrain, Jyzumar twisted space upon the attacks, and sent them right back to the point from which they origanated.

Rhenna dips her head in a draconic guesture of thanks at Bahamut's congratulations, and for the final healing that he had bestowed on her and James.

Rn -- Fortune. *The tip of her tail flicks* You should have let me kill her last time, James.

She picks him up and beats her wings, bringing them both onto his back. Anna levitates to just in front of them.

"This means that I won't be able to summon any of them, correct?"

OOC: OK, this is after they get on

IC: "Maybe I should... this time I will not be so forgiving to the traitor," he said, his voice hard and tinged with anger

*To Bahumut*"Many thanks for bearing us to Snake Eater Prime. And for the healing, it was most welcome." Underneath his clothes, he felt the gash on his left arm heal completley, and he moved it experimentally

The volley that they had launched passed through the stations shields, the solid-shells from the railguns tearing great holes in the superstructure. Normally proud and strong, Phoenix Station was reduced to a burning hulk in minutes. Swarms of Cobra Interceptors and the latest Dropship design, the Phantom, plummeted back towards the planet, trying despertly to warn the general populace of the threat

Death spoke to the summons and fortune.
"Fortune. You know this planet, and you know it well. Direct Fat Chocobo to the seat of the Government, and any place they might hide. As for the others, Point them out to the various military instalations." Death ordered.
Jormangundr saw the Ocean, and made a beeline for it. Tiamet waited for a place to attack.

Fortune opened up Metal Gear's tactical display,"Fat Chocobo, head for the Administrium building. The Assembly should be there. The rest of you, take control of the elements that you master. The skies, the oceans, space itself. Doomtrain, move through the Tiravano plains, spreading destruction and death in your wake. Elemental Warrior, distract SHADOW. They must be tied up with you, to stop them making any impact on the battle. And of course you Tiamet, come with me. We will strike at the communications network that links Snake Eater Prime to her colonies. The nation will crumble under out might."

Metal Gear plunged into the atmosphere, coming to rest atop a mountain. Fortune could see the communication centre, and she smiled,"The fools will rue the day that they ever created Metal Gear Leviathan!"

Fat Chocobo fell on the administration building. He cast a great confusion spell, warping the minds of the Government. The entire assembly and lord Barbarossa suddenly felt the irrisistable urge to go out into the street and dance the cancan.

Elenental Warrior found shadow.
"I am the Warrior of the Elements. Thy Doom is Nigh." Warrior said. Without warning, A sheet of Liquid Fire shot out at every Shadow warrior.

Doomtrain rolled out into the plans. Folds of flesh covered the Doors, and great spikes covered his body. His entire body hardened. He picked up great speed, and rolled into some important looking buildings.

Jormangundr caused the Ocean to suddenly become very storm tossed. He spotted a large ship in the ocean, swam over to it, Hissed at it in a very loud voice, and bit into the front of it.

Tiamet began to charge her ultimate attack.
"I will destroy this thing myself. It will take a few seconds though, I have to charge it." She said.

The other Summons caused their perspective elements to suddenly stop functioning normally. They also began attacking anything in sight.

Jyzumar caused space to close around the Military bases, effectively sealing them in.

Draeval slowed time down to a barely perciptible trickle. One second actually took an hour to pass.

"Destroy the Government and place it in my control, and I will make you Queen of Snake Eaters." Death promised Fortune.

Bahamut came into sight of Snake Eater Prime. already cougar could see the chaos and destruction going on. A vast storm covered Snake Eater Prime.
"Hold on, I'm a gonna break through." Bahamut roared. He dived through the atmosphere, and flew low across the surface. He charged up the Mega Flare, and unleashed it on Tiamet. Tiamet, who was not expecting it, got hit full on. Bahamut retracted the Scales from his Riders legs. He teleported them to the Ground.
"Milady Summoner, Warfare told me to tell you to Summon him, as a Summons. I must go now, and fight Tiamet." Bahamut said, as he chased Tiamet who was flying away.
Warfare made a thought pass through Cougar's mind.
"For your own safety, summon Crusaider."
There was no doubt that it came from Warfare.

OOC: Alright, You can control Crusaider as well as can Kay, it isn't just my machine. It is for your defense, think of this, as its first true test. You can see Metal Gear Leviathan, but you are far enough away, that, even if it can see you, you have enough time to call Crusaider and jump in. It has the same fire power as Metal Gear Leviathan does enhanced, and then some, plus, Rhenna and Anna can cast spells through the Ether Machine, as can you. Plus, you can use your fire in it. Take care of Fortune and Metal gear this after noon, and this evening, me and Kay will take care of the summons. I have to go now.

Bahumut had set the group down in Tiravano city, on the Tirva continent. The city was in chaos, for the summons were causing havoc among all Snake Eater forces. Civilians ran screaming from them, trying to hide wherever they could find shelter. In the distance, Metal Gear stood atop the highest peak, looking down over the city, like some giant avatar of Death.

Cougar grimaced at the destruction and chaos that had enveloped his homeworld, and looked around as the rain poured down, running in sheets off his cloak. Within minutes, his hair was soaked as was most of him, yet he looked around.

"We should summon Crusaider. None of us stands a chance against Metal Gear without it"

Fortune surveyed the havoc in the city with a sick joy. Once, she had been a fine assasin for the Callidus, but now she took pleasure in harming her world. Her mind was filled with images of killing Cougar, taking control of Snake Eaters, being crowned Queen...

"Metal Gear, we must make sure that Cougar and his entourage are made to suffer. Especially that Xenos wife of his"

Metal Gear roared, an open challenge. It didn't know where Cougar was, bu they would find him, one way or another...

A -- You summon it, Cougar. Rhenmet, head to their capitol city and protect the heads of government.

*The half-dragon winged off*

Anna, meanwhile, raised her hands.

Warfare, King of the Summoned Beasts, God of the Slivers, War Diety, I summon you here, as per your request.

Rhenna arrives to discover that the heads of Government are doing a syncronized dance with some robbers. Fat chocobo sits ontop of parliment. He looks like he really doesn't want to be here. He waves a wing, and suddenly everyone starts doing the Numa Numa Dance.

Warfare appears in a grandiose fashion.
"Thank you. Working as a summon, I can get more accomplished." Warfare said. He turns, and makes Crusaider appear. He puts Anna and Cougar inside.
"This'll keep you safe. I know exactly what to do." Warfare said. He disappeared. He needed to free Shadow. They would help him get rid of everything else.
He found the Elemental Warrior. The warrior was lost in a complete frenzy.
"Warrior, cease and decist." Warfare commanded.
Warrior stopped in his tracks, just short of a shadow team. The looked relitivly relieved. Warrior rushed at Warfare. The two got into a brutal sword fight. Each blow struck with the force of a hurricane, finally warfare got fed up and unleashed his most powerful attack, Annialation. Bright black light radiated from Warfare, as he drew in ALL the surrounding energy. He brought his blade back as far as he could, and charged more energy than you could shake a stick at into the blade. He swung it as hard as he could with all of his godly might. A cresent of energy undulated across the way to Elemental warrior. Nothing stood up behind it, the only thing it left behind, was an empty barren feild. The Warrior tried to block it, but it overpowered his defences. Warrior was no more. Anna would be unable to summon him for four days. Warfare dropped to one knee.
"I am Warfare, Elder God of Creation and Destruction. I am here to banish the creatures attacking your world, but need your help. I need to know where your important places are, that's where the summons are likely to be. Col. Cougar is on the planet. He is facing a threat even more deadly then all of the summons. I do not know if he tol you of it or not, but it is known as Metal Gear Leviathan. It is a warship capable origanally of destroying entire cities in very little time, but, things happened, and now it can do a whole lot more, and it threatens all of Snake Eater Prime. Believe me or not, a War is going on, between the Gods, and the physical manifestation of Death. Death is out to control this world, as a strategic point for destroying creation. He plans on making a woman known as Fortune Queen of the Snake Eater Empire once it falls. She too, is capable of more than what she was before. They have been filled with Destruction." Warfare said wearily. He was worn out and could say no more for now.

Gathering energy, Rhenna rushed Fat Chocobo, slamming into him.

Anna's eyes narrowed in annoyance at having been put into Crusaider in such a manner. She felt that she could get more done outside. At the end of his battle with the Elemental Warrior, she could sense his exhaustion. Teleporting them (along with Crusaider) there, she channeled a telekinetic spell through the machine, levitating the god. She hoped he didn't resist, that would make it more difficult.

Taking them to a place where the ambient energy was more plentiful, she gathered it/made Crusaider gather it, and channeled it into Warfare.

"Moderation in all. What if there had been more of them?"

"There is more of them, but, cut off the head, and the body quickly falls." Warfare said. He activated an ability he did not use. Once activated, he could never tutn it off entirely. It was called Reaction. It was an ability unique to him. It caused his powers of Creation and destruction to clash with each other spawning energy within Warfare. This cut off Warfare's need for a connection to the Multiverse. He was unlimited energy. He disappeared in a flash.He appeared on the water, where Jormengundr was terrorizing the sea fleets.
"Cease and Decist." Warfare shouted.
"Don't you think I want to?" Jormangundr asked.
"Since you are under death's control, I shall have to kill you." Warfare said.
"Please? The release would be sweet bliss." Jormangundr said.
Warfare charged up a great lightning bolt and fired it at Jormangundr. The shock was too much, and Jormangundr died. Anna would be unable to summon him for four days.

A to C -- Well, since that's being done...what do you say we go take care of that titanic monstrosity of yours?

OOC: Being unlimited energy is a Godmode, Warhaven. You might want to temper that some.

He nodded,"Sounds like a plan to me. She'll have spotted us by now, but Metal Gear can't touch this thing for sheer power. We should be fine"

It didn't look terribly powerful...the way Renor described it, it shouldn't have been too bad, between two mages.

It may not look powerful, but therin lies it's strength. That thing can level entire cities in a few seconds

So can Renor, if he has cause to.

Fortune doesn't need a cause. She'll do anything Death tells her, just so she can get to me. *Begins to manipulate the controls*Now, let us see how truly powerful this thing is

A cause is whatever motivates you, Cougar. It seems that her cause is to kill you.

She tried once before. She failed once before. An assassin never likes to fail to hit her target. And the fool that I am, I let her live. Rhenna could have killed her like that*snaps his fingers*And now look what happens

Rhenna would probably like another chance to kill her. Dragon and Drow both agree that no enemy should be allowed to remain standing.

Not this time. Metal Gear first... then I take care of Fortune myself.

Anna shrugs.

Crusaider began moving towards Metal Gear, it's legs moving it steadily across the plains. After a while, he pulled it to a halt, and activated the comm system,"Fortune. Stand down now. I don't want to have to kill you"

She smiled a wolfish smile,"Too late Cougar. I'm not standing down, I'm going to have to make you pay."

C -- Why?

F -- Why? Because I have to. Death told me, and he is my master. But I of course have a personal reason to kill you

C -- So you've become Death's lackey? All you can do is follow orders? What happened to the Fortune I used to know?

F -- She died the moment she found out what you had done to Vamp. And just for the record, I'm only helping Death to gain more power

C -- You're a megalomaniac. You always were. Always striving to gain more power over the others, even at the academy

F -- That Fortune is dead. I am Fortune Reborn, with the veil lifted from my eyes. Death is the only constant in the universe.

C -- Veil lifted? Fool, the only thing thats happened to you is that you've become blind to the truth; Death is just using you. Once you're done here, do you really think he'll hold true to his promises?

F -- It does not matter

With these words, Metal Gear attacked with everything it had. Missiles poured from its many ports, and chaingun fire rattled off Crusaiders armour. Everything was much more powerful than normal, fuelled by Fortune's untamed energies, it was nothing in comparision to Crusaider. This machine had been built to fight the Dark Gods themsleves, nothing Metal Gear did could touch it

C -- Nice try. But heres something you can't do

A jet of White Flame spurted from Crusaider, enveloping the Metal Gear in itself, searching for a chink in the armour

C -- *To Anna*Care to join in?

Sure, why not?

*The Drow Princess stood for a moment, as though considering what to do, and then she begins to chant. Energies whirl around her and Crusaider*

An enormous attack lashes out of Crusaider, at Metal Gear.

OOC: This is one of those weird spells that is somewhat limited to Anna. Anna rules the WORLD! Not really, but she could...

The attack smashed into the enhanced armour of Metal Gear, causing it to buckle and begin to collapse. The dying machine let out an ear-splitting roar, and began to fall backwards. In the cockpit, Fortune cursed,"Stupid machine" Hitting the 'EJECT' button, her seat flew out in the atmosphere, the parachute deploying as the once mighty war-machine let out one last roar, before collapsing to the ground, the impact shaking even Crusaider.

Inside, Cougar stared at the image,"She ejected. Now is the time. Are you going to stay here?"

Anna holds up one hand as her weapon forms, letting her fingers curl around the cool metal.

"And miss all the fun?"

"I'll take that as a yes," he said, checking the magazine in his Gunblade. Full clip, twelve rounds. All of them White Flame.

"Let's go"

He led the way to where Fortune had landed. She was sitting, waiting for them. As he approached, she stood, dark energy gathering in her palms,"So, you came?"

C -- Wouldn't miss it

F -- *Laughs*I wonder how your girlfriend will react once I kill you

C -- She'll find you, and kill you

F -- I don't doubt it. In fact, I look forward to it

C -- Are you just going to stand there all day? Or are we going to do this?

F -- Let's go

It was a sight to behold, the two old friends facing off. One fighting for Death, the other fighting for Creation. The wind whipped at them, causing his cloak to move slightly. Then it started. They attacked at the same time, blades clashing in the middle, the Flame burning around him, the dark energy of Death pulsating through her. Back and forth the fight raged, both of them taking wounds that would have stopped a normal man in his path. Neither seemed to be able to gain the upper hand over the other, they were so well matched.

After a fight that had left him more exhausted than he ever thought possible, he finally saw his opening. As she swung her blade, he sidestepped it, going under her extended arms, before slashing himself. She stumbled, blood pouring from this latest wound. It was obviously fatal.

She turned to face him one final time,"Touche" She fell to her knees. He sheathed the blade, and turned her over

C -- You've caused so much suffering for everybody. Now you have what you deserve.*cocking of a pistol*Any final words?

F -- *Coughs up blood*Only this. Live, James. You've earned it. Make sure you live a long and happy life. Now, finish me, hero

He nodded mutely, and levelled the pistol at her. She closed her eyes, waiting for the shot that he knew must come. There was silence. A single bang. The sound of a single casing hitting the floor. It was over. Fortune was gone.

He turned,"We have a world to clean up. Let's go" He walked away, and it was at that point that anyone could see the weight on his shoulders. His entire soul was laid bare, for the whole world to see

A -- Oh what a tangled web we weave.

Killing old friends? Yeah, I'd class that as a fairly tangled web

The web of life has many strands...some leading to darkness, others to light. When two people who have traveled some thread together go off on different ones...and then cross again...it is likely to happen. Grieve for your lost friend later...like you said...there is a planet to clean up.

He smiled,"Then let us begin"

Death himself appeared next to fortune. His evil raspy voice clearly heard by Fortune. He reached down and grabbed her by the Soul.

"You have failed me Twice Fortune, this is unacceptable. Fortune, Hmph how Ironic that that's your name, for it seems yours has run out." Death Said.

He disappeared with her. He would make her pay dearly for her failure, for the rest of eternity.


OOC: I may have misstyped that infinite energy statement. My thoughts were in the correct order, just, not my typing. I'll explain it more clearly later on the council boards.

Rhenna lands the highest point of the building where she can still see Fat Chocobo. Her wings tilt out behind her, so that she's still ready to attack.

"Leave these people, or be destroyed."

Warfare, having defeated Jormangundr, went back to Shadow.

"Alright, this is going to wear me down to much. I need your help. Cougar is out here somewhere, that much I know. I'll take care of the more powerful summons, but, I need your help to take care of the lesser summons. I have scanned Snake Eater Prime, and here are their locations.

Fat Chocobo is at Parlament, making Lord Barbarossa and the assembly dance.

Ifrit seems to be burning things north of here, and shiva is with him, freezing everyone. Carefull, even though their opposits in nature, they can still cooperate and do a lot.

Ramuh is with Typhoon in the skies. Together they've spawned the superstorm in the skies.

Diablo is flying all over the world wreaking havoc with Gravity.

Cerberus is acting like a really big Dog. He's in the south.

Jyzumar and Draeval are in a big Military instalation somewhere. I'll have to take care of them and the rest by myself, but, These two have effectivly sealed all the Military instaliations.

Phantom is wandering the graveyards awakening the dead and sending them out.

Doomtrain is rolling everywhere spreading fear and destruction.

Finally Tiamet is running scared from Bahamut.

Do not worry about Fat chocobo. A Kaymirilian is taking care of him. I know you have the ability to take care of them. Questions or help, simply ask, for this breif time, I'll hear your prayers, I just hope Leviathan doesn't mind, which I don't think he will, all things considered." Warfare said. He walked away, hoping Shadow would help him.

Fat chocobo looked a bit dazed from Rhenna's attack. He got up. He did not want to be here, or doing this, but he still had to because of the ancient agreement. He waved a wing, casting a powerful spell on Rhenna, making her want to join in the Dance.

Rhenna shook herself, throwing off Fat Chocobo's spell. She launched herself at him again, using her wings to fly over him, and she spat acid at him.

Fat Chocobo's left wing got hit.
"You think I want to be here? You think I want to be doing this? I don't,but I don't have a choice, I have to be here due to a very ancient agreement between the Great Monsters and the Gods. Death has the ability to use all but two of the summons. I have no choice, Death summoned me fair and Square, and I have to be here. Please, destroy me, the release from Death's grip would be bliss." Fat Chocobo said. He waved his injured wind. A giant rock materialized above Rhenna, and pounded down on her head.

Watt, the highest ranking SHADOW agent there, looked around,"Alright, heres the deal. Alpha Team will come with me, and we'll grab Cougar before taking on Cereberus. The rest of you, split up. Go for each of the summons. Delta and Echo Teams, get to your fighters and take out Ramuh and Typhoon. Watch out for Diablo and any others. Then we'll regroup to take on Ifrit and Shiva. Above all Others my friends. Godspeed"

*A half hour later*
"Cougar, get in!"

He ran to the Black Hawk that had carried his team to him,"Where we going?"

"We've got to help Warfare. We're taking on the lesser summons"

He smiled,"Let's go"

All across Snake Eater Prime, SHADOW engaged their alloted targets

A -- I'll take on Ifrit and Shiva myself. I can tell that others of your people are on the way to challenge the rest.

*She gathers the two points in space together, and opening the "barrier" between them, steps to where Ifrit and Shiva are.*

"That will be quite enough from the two of you."

Rhenna hadn't been expecting the attack, but had been moving, so it crashes down on her back. As it wasn't an anticipated attack, Cougar'd feel an echo of the pain for a few moments, before she blocked it out.

She gathered the Dragon's Head Spell, and launched it at Fat Chocobo.

He felt a brief surge of pain as he checked his weapons, and established it's location,I hope she's alright. The constant thud-thud-thud of the Black Hawk's rotors calmed him down slightly, as he felt secure when he heard that noise. After maybe ten minutes, the pilot called,"Is that it sir?"

He looked out the cockpit, and saw the giant dog,"That's him.*Motions to the others*Ropes!

Konig and Charlie kicked the ropes out, and the whole team fast-roped to the ground, the chopper leaving them with some sniper cover, in the form of two miniguns for the crew chiefs. James fired a warning shot at Cerberus,"Hey, mutt!"

Cerberus Looks at the approaching humans from shadow. He lets out a low warning Growl from all three heads. This was his territory, not theirs.

Ifrit and Shiva looked up at Anna.

"Hee, their weak! All Weak!" Ifrit exclaims with Glee. Being a demon, this did not really trouble him.
"I don't want to be here princess, Only the Evil summons like him are enjoying this. Death got all of us long ago, by the ancient agreement, we have to do as he wishes. I don't want to though, but I have no choice. Please destroy me, it is the only way to stop me, Death's control is too great." Shiva said. Ifrit shot a giant fireball at Anna, while Shiva dropped a small Iceberg on her from above.

Ramuh and typhoon simply did not bother to wait. The looks of sorrow on their faces should be explaination enough. Typhoon blew a powerful tornado at the uncoming ships, while Ramuh shot Great bolts of Lightning at them.

Rhenna flipped belly-to-the-sky as she cast a spell to decimate the meteor, and she flips back up, drawing back her clawed hands, and divebombing Fat Chocobo.

With a flick of her wrist, Anna sends out Glider, and lets herself fall. When it catches her, she directs it toward the summons. With a flick of her wrist, she sends the crescent-blade out at Ifrit. She still kept an eye on Shiva...hopefully, this would work..........

IC: Barbarossa looked at her,"Yes, thank you. We're all fine. What was that thing?"

Ifrit dodges the blade, but bumps into shiva. An explosen of Steam sends the two of the Reeling. Ifrit, thinking Shiva did it on Purpose sends a giant Fireball at her. In retaliation, Shiva sends a Giant block of Ice back. Ifrit gets really upset, and casts a powerful Firespell at shiva, Shiva retaliates by casting a really powerful ice spell at Ifirt. Ifrit and shiva both use their ultimate attacks on each other at the same time. A wave of Hell Fire envelops Shiva while Ifrit gets enveloped in an Iceberg Large enough to sink five Titannics at the same time. Both Die and disapate into Energy. Niether can be summoned for Four days.

Rn -- I'm not quite sure. It looked like some strange bird creature, but had the powers of a fully trained mage. I've got a feeling Princess Anna would know.

Raising her weapon, Anna charged several of the spells along its length, gathering them into the area between the points of the crescent.

Adding her own power, she launches the attack at Doomtrain.

Cerberus yelped in pain. In all respects, he was simply a giant Dog that did not understand what it did wrong. It was told to guard this forest. It was told this forest was his. Cerberus sat on his Haunches and let out a great Howl. It was one of confusion. Cerberus rolled on his back trying to appease these strange men. Obviously they were more powerful then him. The Middle head woke up. His intelligence took over. Cerberus rolled backover, and let out an eerie howl. The dead that Phantom had been waking up Migrated towards cerberus. Cerberus howled again, and the Undead attacked shadow, attempting in true zombie fashion, to eat their brains.

OOC: For a moment of Humor, throw a really, really, really big stick for cerberus.

Doomtrain gets hit. It pauses. It senses anna. Fire rolls up around it as it begins togather great speeds. It Rolls after Anna, its powers carrying it through the air. Great Charges of Energy run through its body. Its face cleary demonstrates that it too does not want to be here.

"Zombies. Interesting"

Cougar slung his weapon over his shoulder, and brought out his pistol and knife, shooting a zombie through the forehead, before taking another one out with his knife,"Someone throw that dog a bone or something"

Anna urges Glider on to greater speeds. Ahead of her, she opens a gateway. It opens, and she slows down so that Doomtrain is less than five meters behind her.

At the very last second, she whips Glider out of the way of the gateway, which leads to nothing. Doomtrain's size and momentum ought to carry it through.

B -- I see. That is resonable

Typhoon and Ramuh gathered all the power they needed. Typhoon shot a Hurricane that could easily travel continents at the the Shadow squads, while Ramuh shot his Thunderbolt at them. the two attacks mingled for a single devastaing attack of great porportions.

Rhenna looked up at the sky, not liking something.

"Everyone get inside. Now."

The storm struck the fighters, and rolled them over and over. All the pilots ejected, and Hooten began to pray,"Warfare, we need your help. Ramuh and Typhoon defeated us"

The entire assembly hurried inside, and the Pratorian Guard sealed the doors. They would hold out as long as was needed

Anna's calculations were correct. Doomtrain died in the nothingness. Anna would be able to summon him in Four days.

Cerberus's primal heads took over when they saw a Leg bone go sailing through the air. Cerberus charged after it and trotted back to Cougar and dropped it infront of him. Cerberus waited for Cougar to through it again. Cerberus Barked in anticipation, this caused the nearby undead to crumble, opening up some breathing room for Cougar.

Bahamut continued to chase Tiamet. They flew through the capitol above Rhenna and the assembly.

Rhenna flew up. If she could keep Tiamet distracted...

She flew straight for the larger dragon, aiming to pass right between two of her necks.

Cougar grabbed the bone, and used his additional strength to hurl it some distance away,"Go fetch, and take your time"

Warfare appeared. He teleported the defeated squad to safety inside the building with Rhenmet and the others. Then he turned to Typhoon. He caused an explosien which origanated inside Typhoon. Typhoon exploded. Anna would be unable to summon him for four days. The superstorm began to disapate.
Warfare turned to Ramuh, They got into a fist fight. Ramuh used all of his skills, but was no match for a Wargod. Warfare delivered an atomic punch. Ramuh fell unconcious. He disapated to nothing. Anna would be unable to summon him for four days. The Superstorm broke up entirely.

"Why do you stand against me, Daughter of Tellryon? Are we not of the same blood?" Tiamet asked. Fortunatly, this slowed her down enough for Bahamut to catch up...

"I'm an orphan. I don't care about blood." *Pulling up, she spits acid into Tiamat's nearest eye, and winged away, to avoid the retalitory attack.*

Cerberus dropped his head and whined a little, then he ran off and came back with a young sapling.
"Much better," said Cougar, throwing the sapling using the White Flame

Anna heads towards Phantom's location next.

Tiamet sent her tail lashing out at Rhenna. The evil Goddes was fully enraged, and went to chase Rhenna, but a great claw stopped her from Behind.

"Go my Daughter, Run!" Bahamut called. He cast an ancient spell, trapping him and Tiamet in the area until one of them died.
Tiamet turned on Bahamut and clawed him in the eyes, Bahamut returned the Favor. Blood was dripping from both Dragon's heads. Bahamut launched an Atomic Fireball at Tiamet, while Tiamet in turn, crunched down on Bahamut's forarms. Bahamut bit into one of Tiamets heads, Tiamet roared in pain. The two fought on in a brutal Manner until Bahamut launched the Mega Flare at Tiamet. It killed her. Weary, he dropped to the ground.

Rhenna stood atop a spire, waiting for the battle to be finished. Even the mosquito can do some good...

When Bahamut sank to the ground, Rhenna took to her wing, to see what she could do about his injuries.

OOC: Sorry, computer screwed up.

IC: Cerberus went to chase the sapling. Death, sick of this cutesy boy and his dog stuff, appeared and killed cerberus by cutting him in half. With a yelp, cerbers died for four days. Death turned to Cougar and his team, and, not wanting to leave them alon, cast very poweful pain spells on them all.

Anna finds Phantom. He sits next to Venus, they're on a stump waiting for Anna, senseing her approach.

Bahamut looks at Rhenna.
"Rhenmet, I have run out of energy, surely by now you have learned a healing spell. Please, use one." Bahamut said.

SHADOW Team Alpha went down hard, the pain was intense, much more than they were used to. Cougar, on the other hand, struggled to his feet, laoding a round into his Gunblade. It was a third Ultima round, one he had procurred from the Magitech Building. He looked up, and aimed,Let's just pray this works

Death saw what cougar was getting ready to do, and disappeared. He intensified the pain spells as a parting gift.

Cougar had no choice but to go down on his knees. The pain was blinding, he couldn't see anything around him.

Warfare!

Rhenna casts a Draconic healing spell.

A healing spell that manifested itself as a small green dragon flowed out of one of her hands, and began to heal Bahamut, before Rhenna's wings reflexively drew her wings around herself in pain, and began to fall. She stopped herself before hitting the ground, and blocked out the pain. She looked at Bahamut.

"I have to go."

So saying, she winged off toward Cougar.

Rhenna arrived where SHADOW team Alpha was currently on the ground in pain. She cast a protective barrier around them, and then nullified the effects of the pain spell. Kneeling by Cougar, she waited for them to come back around.

One by one, they came round, Cougar being last due to him holding out longer. He looked around, and smiled,"Hi there"

Reaching into some long-forgotten remnant of her training, she attacked both Phantom and Venus with spells designed to kill.

both Phantom and Venus reelled a bit. Phantom cast a powerful Ice spell on Anna, Venus continued to drain Anna's Health.

Anna jerks back from the Ice spell. Looking at Venus, she casts a reflective spell, causing Venus to drain her own health.

Drawing more energy, she launches a more powerful version of her killing spell at Phantom.

The Black Hawk came in, flaring tightly before settling on the ground,"Anyone need a ride"

C -- We could do with one back to Snake City

P -- Easy enough. All of you?*Looks pointedly at Rhenna*

C -- Careful, Lt. My wife has a rather nasty temper if you rub her the wrong way

P -- *starts*Yessir. Get on, if you please

The remainder of Alpha Team hobbled to the chopper, and Cougar pushed himself to his feet,"You coming with us?"

She nods.

"Someone has to make sure that the lot of you gets back in one piece."

He smiled, and took her hand as he clambered into the aircraft, before hanging his legs out of the open door. Signalling to the crew chief, the aircraft lifted off, and began the hour long journery back to Snake City

She sits next to him.

"You smell like a dog. What happened?"

Wo -- The man has an affinity for animals. You must have met the cat. Dog's like him as well, especially when he starts playing 'Fetch' with them

Rhenna just shakes her head.

"I did meet his cat...but I never would have thought that that dog, in particular, had an affinity for fetch."

C -- He tried to make me use a tree. I know I'm good, but not that good

What are we going to do with you, I wonder, sometimes.

He couldn't help but laugh, slipping an arm round her waist,"I'm sure we'll find out"

Indeed. *she looks down over the landscape* Well, I'm still supposed to be at the Admin building, so I'll let your pilot relax a little bit.

*She lets herself fall from the helicopter, then spread her wings and flew back to where she was supposed to be*

He couldn't help but feel slightly hurt as she left, even though he did smell of dog. However, his spirits picked up slightly as they came over the ocean. He enjoyed smelling the sea salt, and the pilot flew low, so he could feel the spray on his face. After another hour or so of travelling, the chopper landed in the square, and the team unloaded.

Thirty minutes later, he emerged from the showers, now dog-smell free. He went back to the third floor, and sat down. It looked so different to that night, three months or so before hand. He smiled, and lay back, his eyes drifting shut.

Rhenna stood at the highest point of the building, which offered a commanding view of the city. She decided to go down to spend a few minutes beside her husband on the third floor.

*Landing softly next to him, and sitting down*

Well...this looks different.

Yeah, it's in one piece for a start

And it's not on fire.

And the artillery isn't pounding the city. So much is diffrent

And yet...so much is the same. We may not be facing something on as vast a scale as Kaelis Ra...but there are still dangers about.

The summons. Most of them seem to be gone for now, but theres still some around. At least we don't have the threat of nuclear war hanging over us

Nuclear missles you can locate and teleport back so that they're detonating in their nation of origin. Summons...are harder than that.

I gathered. I never thought Death himself would come here though

She nods. "You were in a lot of pain. When I started off, I wondered if I'd get there in time."

I got lucky. I didn't know how hard you would feel it

You kept blanking in and out. *She looks back up* I'd better be getting back up. *She kisses him and leaves*

Venus screams in Agony, she can't stop draining herself. She drains herself out of life. Phantom reels and kneels and fades away to nothing.

Warfare seeks out Draeval and Jyzumar. Their fight is bitter but short. They too, Die. Warfare returns to Anna.

"what next my mistress?" Warfare asked.

You kept blanking in and out. *She looks back up* I'd better be getting back up. *She kisses him and leaves*

He kissed her before she left, then continued to stare out at the city late into the night. As the lights began to become extinguished across the city, he got up and began to move around. He disliked being in the building, feeling he could do more elsewhere. Such as at his home, where he could direct SHADOW operations. After another half-hour, he left the building, not making a secret about it.

She will see me anyway, and feel where I'm going

Anna was standing in the field, regaining her energy. When Warfare appears, she looks at him.

"We have to begin repairing the damage they caused while they were here...and find out if Death left any curses lying about. If so, they must be dealt with. After that...we prepare. We will have to force his hand...we cannot afford to have him force ours."

Rhenna saw James leaving, and she could feel his sorrow and loneliness. Reaching out to him, she sent a gentle feeling of love and reassurance.

He felt the thoughts flow through the pathways of his mind, and couldn't help but smile. He stopped halfway across the darkened square, and looked at the top of the building. He made a small movement with two fingers of his right hand, like a salute, moving from his temple to point directly at her. It was a gesture of thanks, and in this case, love. With that, he turned away into the darkness

Rhenna saw his guesture, and watched him fade into the darkness. She wished she could go with him...but not until the danger was past. Until then, she stood, a silent statue on the top of the building, poised to attack and kill anything that posed a threat.
