"Ok, Fiona, what was going on back there?" I asked once we were in the temple. "I sense darkness like it was a demon convention and all you could say is 'it must have been a ratcat'? The signature I sensed was nothing like a ratcat, and you know it. Now spill it."
Fiona sighed. "I was tracking a possible Dark Jedi when you showed up. He ran away when you came near."
That sounded plausible, but that still doesn't explain the strong aura. "Fine, but I'll be keeping a close eye on you. Something's amiss around here, and I intend to get to the bottom of this. Maybe I'll assign an apprentice to you."
"Daniel--" Fiona spiked up in sharp reply, but I cut her off.
"No, sister, you and the twins are all that's left now and I have to make sure you're ok. I Just don't want to see you get hurt. You'll accept the apprentice or we'll talk to Grandpa about this."
Fiona knew I would carry out my threat, and Grandfather could sense out the dark side within her and 'cure' her. She didn't want to lose it, not when she's just gained it. She would have to get rid of the apprentice, somehow. She shifted her gaze downward in defeat. "Very well, brother."
"Good. Now I will assign apprentice Jacen Blackmane to you. He'll report to no one else but me." I said, picking up my comlink and switching to intercom. "Apprentice Blackmane, please report to the C wing corridors."
A sound of scampering feet, and a fair-haired and much-freckled 13 year old apprentice in traditional robes appeared. "Yes, Master?"
"I'm assigning you as an aide for my sister Fiona here. She's having a bit of trouble with a Dark Jedi incursion around here, and I thought it would be prudent to have someone else tag along with her to help out." I said. Telepathy to Jacen: I need to know what's she up to. I'm worried about her, and I want you to report to me on anything amiss. Call me on tightbeam frequency, code 475 Bravo Alpha Delta for the reports. My droid will be watching out for it.
"All right." Jacen nodded for both instructions.
"Now I'm going off to Kamino to check out the clone facilities there and tighten the defenses." And help defend it. The Firestorm battlefleet to be deployed is waiting patiently for me in orbit for Phase II. "I'll see you around. May the Force be with you two."
I headed down towards the hangar bay, and readied Ryujin and Rocky for deployment. My silver dragon curled on my lap as I readied the preflight checklist for my X-wing. Soon, I was in the air and flew out towards the battlefleet and took command of it. Soon, the battlefleet (2 standard Squadrons and a Planetary Assault Squadron) made the jump to hyperspace.

Kelvin was sitting on a rail around the main antechamber of the Jedi Temple, testing his reflexes by drawing little impact runes to swat a bounce-ball into a nearby wall and back, keeping up with his speed by drawing the complex rune in the time it took the ball to bounce back.

Bridge of the Defiler
"My Lord! We're taking fire from the surface! The enemy has a fleet of vessels in the waters of the planet in addition to defense satelites."
"Damnit. Reroute the converts' pods towards the ships, keep the Marines and Legionaries heading towards the facility. Use torpedoes on the satelites."
"Yes, m'lord."
With that, the Defiler spat forth six hundred kinetic energy torpedoes, designed to pass through the planetary shielding and impact the satelite defenses. It would be the equivelent of sending drop pods to crash into the satelites.
Meanwhile, the convert pods suddenly changed course, and came crashing into the Star Destroyers.
The enemy's missiles launched at the pods had managed to take out only a few of them, thanks to the point defense lasers and shielding the pods were equiped with. The shock effect of the turbo lasers suddenly opened up had heavily damaged several destroyers.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile, aboard Marius' drop pod....
Rerouting course, brace for impact. came the automated voice from the pod's AI as it changed course to crash into one of the Star Destroyers.
The sergeant looked down at a holographic moniter.
"Brothers, we've been rerouted. The cowardly heathens have hid their fleet in the oceans of this world, and we've been ordered to sieze one of the vessels."
The men all nodded in acknowledgement, loading fresh cells into their plasma rifles. Marius, who'd recieved prior training on ship boarding, remembered to take out a shock grenade. Suddenly, the pod slammed into the destroyer, jerking the men upwards. The men all unstrapped, and took up positions around the pod. It began to burn through the hull, into a corridor of the vessel...
This same story was repeated hundreds of times over as the pods of the converts slammed into the Star Destroyers and began to cut through.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile, the Marines and Legionaries had kept their original course, slamming down onto the floating city and clone factory. The men quickly disembarked their pods, fanning out to hunt for enemies. The Legionaries, who's power armor came equiped with jump jets and an arm mounted heavy pulse laser, kicked on their jets, plopping themselves down on top of the roofs of the massive buildings, giving them excellent vantage points throughout the city.

The hologrid in the command centre displayed hundreds of red blips swarming their way through the sky. Missiles erupting from floating platforms targeted anything they could while fighters took to air to air combat, picking of pods as the came into range.
“Detecting incoming Kinetics commander, designated target…. the Missile platforms.”
“Excellent.” Commander Velian proclaimed. “once again their forces are predictable as ever. Initiate counter measures, and have the stations continue targeting the enemy vessels.”
“At once commander.”
As the incoming kinetics met laser and turbolaser fire alike the stations slowly crumbled away, for every twenty kinetics launched perhaps one would strike their heavy shields.
The drop pods, the pride of the Doomingsland fleet would find themselves in a messy pickle, falling down from orbit they changed their course to impact the hull of the Destroyers only to disintegrate on their shielding. Searching for the great floating cities the enemy forces would find none on the surface, apart from one great tower, the command post of the Republic army. The spire shielded on the surface stood against the enemy attackers as they too were consumed by the energy shield holding back the invaders.
Under the waters surface the Kaminan guard stood testament, fully prepared to give their lives for their home and culture.
The factories and troop quarters now many kilometres beneath the waters surface had now been put on alert, if enemy forces were to breech the command post and infiltrate their way down, they would find millions of clones prepared to defend the Republic at whatever cost.
Coruscant
“It seems the defence of Kaminos is going very well Chancellor, indeed the Doomingsland enemy are predictable as you thought.”
“Yes, the Doomingsland and separatist forces are not the brightest enemy, but as long as we can refrain from hand to hand combat our forces and superior tacticians will win the day.”
The assembled council laughed as drop pods began impacting on the destroyers shields. “As I said Admiral, they are not too bright.”

Halfway to Kaminos, I recieved an update from hyperwave scanners.
"Commander, we have Dooman ships, at least several dozen of them, trying to breach Kamino's defenses. The defenses are holding them well, sir."
Smart move to use the ships as floating artillery. I would like to commend the man or men who thought up that idea. "Very well. Show me the last known position of Doomingland's fleet."
A hologram went on, showing the fleet in a surround or blockade position around the planet. It'll be a few minutes out of date, but at least I know what I can do with this.
"We do have an Interdictor, right?" I asked.
"Yes, sir. The Paralysis Eye."
Fitting name. "Have her stay at the edge of battle, and make the widest FTLi cone she can manage upon the Doomans. The rest of the fleet will then attack and squeeze the life out of the Doomans. Missile Cruisers will flank the Star Destroyers, and the Firestorm squadron will drive towards the center and attack the enemy flagship." I directed, making a plan for the fleet to follow. Now the Firestorm isn't a Super Star Destroyer, but it is an Elite Star Destroyer, which is speced to have a quarter of the firepower of an SSD, or so the techies at Kuat promised. Still very potent.
"We're heading up on Kamino, sir!"
"Very well, all ships to battlestations!" I ordered. "Let's go in and kick their asses!"
Crew rushed to their stations and soon enough, we announced our presence to the Dooman ships with a gift when we arrived: a shower of green turbolasers and missiles. Congratulations, Doomingsland! You're my target today!
Kelvin sensed the lie even as the boy spoke it. He could sense her signature, but he couldn't seem to pinpoint it... as she were deliberately hiding her location from him or any others that might be looking for her.
She had gone willingly... and was hiding herself... the implications made him raise an eyebrow slightly.
It was easy enough to pinpoint Daniel's signature, a small distance below the horizon, but he still managed to cut through the background noise of Coruscant's night life and get a good hold on his position.
He brought out a pen and a small stack of post-it notes. After writing the words "Fiona Gone" "Willingly" and "No Trace" on one of the small pieces of paper, he flicked the message into the air. Mere seconds after he threw the message to the wind, it vanished with a sound akin to a bumblebee smacking into a windshield.
Oh, he could have tried a direct contact, but this was more efficient...
The Battle raged at Kaminos, and activity aboard the Firestorm was a-bustlin'. The Shadowy figure walking along the bridge towards Daniel wasn't actually noticed until it was only two steps away, mostly due to the utter silence of its passage, and by then its arm was reaching out.
As Daniel turned at a sudden "Hey!" the messenger tagged a small post-it note to his chest, then vanished from existence without so much as a pop.

Stupid as the Doomans were, they made up in sheer resiliance...
The drop pods hadn't actualy disintegrated upon hitting the shields. Due to their own shielding, they simply bounced off, landing in the water. As that happened, the pods ejected their cargo of converts, who immediatly turned on their life sign dampening systems, making it appear as if there were no one there. The converts used the falling pods as springboards, kicking off and propeling themselves through the air. They went right through the shielding of the destroyers, landing on the hulls. They then began to crawl up the sides like so many insects, crawling towards the shield generators....
As for the ones that landed around the tower...
Virtualy the same thing as before happened. The Marines and Legionaries engaged their life sign dampeners, ejected from the pods upon bouncing off the shielding, and using them as a spring board to prope them through the shields and onto the tower, where they began to crawl up.

"Focus fire on that..." I searched the database for the ship type, if the thing has been encountered before, the computers will spit out known stats. "World Cleanser! Cruisers, fire at the flanking enemy!"
As the powerful Star Destroyers and the flagship focused their firepower on the World Cleanser Defiler, Missile Cruisers sent missile swarms at the escorts. Hundreds of missiles screamed towards the escorts, bearing antiship proton warheads guaranteed to deal much damage to the enemy.

On the command spire Commander Velian watched with interest as the Doomingsland forces showed considerable resilience. “It appears we are making the first mistake of warfare.” Velian suggested. “We are underestimating our foes.” Those close by nodded in agreement.
“Commander, the Vindicator has just lost their sensor globes..”
“Explanation?”
“We don’t know Commander, it seems that they just blew up.”
“Nonsense.” Velian exclaimed. “Put up a visual of the globes at the time of destruction.”
The holo map turned blue then fully coloured as the Vindicator appeared, with infantry crawling along its hull. “Hmmm, they think those are the shield generators. Very well, Order the Kaminan guard to get those things off my damn warships, and someone tell me if they pose a threat to the Destroyers.”
From the depths of the oceans thousands of Kaminans awaited the order to attack, once the signal was received a great swathe rose up from the ocean. Thousands of Kaminan guards and ARC troopers rose up mounted with jetpacks or upon Keneyla birds. Flowing through the air in a swarm the secret infantry force attacked the Doomingsland forces in the air, and from beneath the waves.
“Commander, the Coredian reinforcements have arrived. Phase three is ready to commence.”
“Give the order to all destroyers, initiate take of procedures, and kill those son of a bitches.”
Turning Velian staggered back as a Doomingsland infantryman clambered over the shield window. It was too late to stop them from reaching the shield generator, so he had no choice. “Evacuate the upper command deck, and initiate phase three. Alert all forces that the Spire self destruct shall be activated in five minutes.”
“Yes Commander.”
On the waters surface the Doomingsland infantry clambered over the Star Destroyers, searching for a weakness in the Neutronium hull, but before long they would find themselves trapped and cut off. The engines slowly activated one by one, incinerated enemy and ally alike. As the great ships lifted from the surface vast waves were created, each one impacting upon the command tower in fury.
The ships would rise through the planets atmosphere and pincer the enemy fleet in orbit, their destruction would be complete, but only if the Coredians initiated the Faster than Light inhibitor field.

The Doomans on the Spire had clambered all the way to the top, planting charges on the shield generator. After those went off, they shot up the windows of the upper command deck with plasma weapons and came crashing through, seeking to wipe out the command crew before they escaped.
Meanwhile, the Doomans on the ships were somewhat annoyed to have a swarm of Kaminoans and ARCs interrupt their hunt for the generators. Marius motioned for a group of his comrades to surge up towards the group of globe-like structures on top of the destroyer. They quickly scaled up the command tower, dodging blaster rounds, and leaping onto the globes. This happened on pretty much all of the destroyers. What happened next would probably baffle the Imperials.
"For the Emperor!! Arrggghhhhh!!!!!"
BLAAAVHOOOOO
The men that had reached the sensors and generators had hit their self destructs, errupting in explosiong powerfull enough to not only shatter the globes, but leaving enough explosive force to punch a hole in the command deck.
Marius, along with the remaining soldiers, meanwhile, had taken to annihilating the enemy infantry. He started off by leaping from the destroyer, onto the back of a nearby ARC trooper. The trooper was obviously confused by the sudden dead wieght on his jumpjet, but needn't worry any longer; Marius crushed his head in his hands. As the corpse began to plumet towards the Earth, he lept towards the nearest Kenyela, landing right behind the rider, who looked back, a look of horror on his face. Marius grabbed the Kaminoan, snapping its thin neck like a twig, and flinging the severed head at over 200mph towards another Kaminoan on a different bird, knocking him clean off. He then shouldered his plasma rifle, and fired a burst at an ARC trooper, catching him in the face. He then lept over and ripped the jump jet from to body, taking it for himself. At about that time the ship's engines started. He activated the jumpjet propeling him towards the Spire...
This same type of thing occured with most of the other Doomans, but Marius was practically the only one that had escaped being incinerated by the engines.

Meanwhile, the Defiler had its hands full. Skorm was having a tough time trying to keep from falling over laughing as the enemy rounds hit the advanced primary shielding layer of his vessel. They'd managed to get it down only by three percent.
"Three enemy vessels destroyed, m'lord."
"That's a good start."
"Sir! A FTL inhibitor has come online!"
"Oh? What's the source?"
"That vessel there, m'lord." replied the ops officer, pointing towards the Parylisis Eye.
"Order all primary batteries to target that vessel. Fire"
With that, eight quad heavy ion cannon turrets traversed towards the vessel, each letting loose a volley. Each invdividual ion cannon was easily powerfull enough to tear a whole through a Star Destroyer. The Paralysis Eye now had thirty-two of them fireing on her.
"Sir! The enemy Star Destroyers are taking off!"
"Have their shields been taken out?"
"I can't be certain..."
"Oh, well, fire on them, anyway. Full volley."
"Aye, m'lord."
A full volley meant using every single torpedo tube on the Defiler at its full rate of fire. The self-replicating magazines and autoloading system gave each tube a rate of fire of roughly twenty rounds per second...
"Fire.
With that, the 500 tubes spewed out 10,000 torpedoes, heading straight for the ISDs. They, like the other torpedoes, were designed to pass through the planetary shielding, but these would actualy detonate once they reached their target.
Meanwhile, the other vessels were used as a screening force against the attack Coredian vessels.

Knight Caller emerged from the shower after he was done his daily hygiene. This was his first day out of the hospital, his new leg the one that the doctors had re-grown still felt different, as if it werer not a part of his body. At least though it was still flesh and blood the same could not be said for his arm, or rather his arm and the surrounding shoulder. It had been completely replaced with synthetic alloys, hydraulic fluid and flesh. The damage had been far to extensive for it to be simply re-grown.
It did have its advantages he though, the alloy was the same that the hulls of battleships were made out of and given a Critos Weave, no light saber would slice his arm off again. It was also much stronger then his old arm, it contained a few other tricks as well, his index finger when held at the proper position was actually a hold out blaster, something a Jedi did not normally need but would come in handy nonetheless.
It had been a long week and he often meditated on the events that brought him to his current situation, his master's exile, the death of Jennifer Masaki and most importantly the implication that the Sith were involved with this new war. That is probably what disturbed him the most, Caller like most who took up the vocation of a councilor he had a particular passion for history. The fall of the Old Republic occurred by the Sith, infiltrated the highest levels of the senate one eventually becoming the chancellor and ruined the Republic from within. The Jedi at the time were legend, Master’s Yoda and Windu, Knight Kenobi and Skywalker, yet they all were blind to the Sith’s influence. The Sith have the ability to hide themselves from the force, which meant that history could be repeating itself and they would not even be able to know it.
He would respect his master’s final words to him, he would uncover the role the sith were to play and do his best to stop it…
---
The LACs closed into point-blank range with the enemy fleet and struck out at their enemies with their spinal 250cm grasers the same that were mounted on the Navy’s battleships. They were not “lasers” as the public perceived them, they did not kill by burning though a target, no they were much more deadly. Gamma radiation was bomb-pumped though a firing matrix and formed into a coherent beam with the emitter lens, the results were quite harmful to any target they hit. Grasers were in a since a kinetic weapon upon impacted an enemy ship’s hull they literally tore their way through shattering armor and interior bulkheads a like. The massive splinters from the shattered bulk heads were perfect antipersonnel weapons. The enemy would know that they were tagged.
The WIckian Light attack craft did not close without paying a price. For the most part the large warp cannon discharges were avoided but when they hit the damage sustained by a LAC was the same as if they were hit by their own spinal Graser, they simple were vaporized.
The missile swarm launched at the LAC’s was something they were built to defend against, missiles were the main weapon of the Confederate Navy. At distance counter missiles speed towards their targets. There impeller wedges would kill two or three enemy missiles at a time in a self imposed suicide. As the missiles closed point defense laser clusters located around the LAC spat their stilettos towards the missiles dicing them into pieces. If a greaser was an elephant gun, a pd laser cluster was a .22 whoever there were no less then a dozen emitters that cycled there shots each half a second it was the final defense the missiles had to penetrate. Well not true their are tethered decoys and then the impeller wedge that propelled the LACs themselves, as the LACs closed they spun widely on their z axis the enemy missiles if they impacted upon the wedge would simply cease to exist. But the sheer volume of missiles meant that a goodly amount could not be stopped and they tore into the thin armor of the LACs. Some hit by a dozen or so could have been split in half, a few were hit less so but were nonetheless forced to break off the action due to damage.
Turbo lasers would have been absorbed/deflected/degraded by the bow and sidewalls of the LACs but many beams if they hit a LAC would do crippling damage, but turbo lasers had the same problem as they had tracking snub fighters, they were hard to track.
All in all the orbit of the Ice planet became a ballet of death with both sides killing the other remorselessly.

The Grazers tore at the hulls, rending and ripping through the sheer metal of the hull, before sending forth the blazing shattered shards into the ship; impaling crew upon their burning lengths. The cries of the dieing were silenced by the rush of void as great wounds rent the hulls of many craft; till they either fell silent, drifting in ominous arcs that brought them dangerously close to the planet; or exploding in a kaleidoscope of shimmering light; the inhabitants willing to sacrifice all for their Emperor. The planetary defence platforms continued to churn out their own lethal barrages, sending forth, again and again, their instruments of death. Missles veered through the void; high explosives; cluster missles; mines; EMP systems; all designed to destroy or imobilise the enemy...Coordinates had been transmited, distress signals sent; the enemy would not last long...
Far below, the surface was abuzz with activity; massive planetary defense cannons shimmered and then let loose with mighty waves of plasma....Broad and terrible. The Wickians would not see the second front rising till it was too late; as fighters and dropships began a steady assault run from the surface of the tormented world.

Lt. Commander Napolitano was thrust into the burden of command and it was a duty she accepted with some regret. Not because she wasn't prepared for the duty but that by her appetence of it meant the CAG was incapacitated. He was alive as his crew's lifeboat launched before the LAC was destroyed, in fact there were a couple dozen such life pods now floating around, the nature of the raid would not leave them time to recover their mates and for that she was sorry. She doubted prisoners of war had many rights when detained by the Separatists.
She was pleased with the damage her wing dealt in the first savage minutes of the battle. Most of the enemy flotilla were damaged, a couple of the battle wagons were severely damaged she even thought one may be pulled into the atmosphere.
This was a raid though and it was time to leave, the LACs used the Ice Planets gravity to sling shot them back towards their BatDiv as they made to disengage from the battle. Proportionally the losses in the engagement were relatively equal, out of the 500 LACs engages 55 were destroyed outright, 20 disabled, more then 150 reported varying degrees of damage, it was when the mass of the engagements was taken into account that the raid seemed to favor the Confederate Navy. LACs were expendable when it came down to it though they would never be treated as such doctrine prevented it. But the Confeds could afford to loose 100 LACs for a disabled Battleship when the butchers bill finally came in.
The enemy would pursue them back to the Fleet but nothing could catch a LAC in a straight out sprint except possibility a fast interceptor, their mission now was to return to the barn and repair.

The missiles dodged insanely, but one by one, they were destroyed by the impact of the turbolasers. The grav-missiles, however, were designed to detonate upon impact. Once they got within 200 km, they armed themselves. One was destroyed before it could arm. But after that, the missiles detonated when hit, and gravimetric sensors could detect a sudden increase in gravitic energy around the system, doubling as the FTLi which was destroyed earlier. But that's not the main feature.
Each remaining missile that detonated imploded on itself, and in their place came hungry spots of blacker than black: black holes. They began pulling in nearby turbolasers and grew. Grew and grew until they reached the programmed size of 50 meters.

Velian stood in his ruined command centre barking orders to the last of his command staff. It would take four minutes for the secondary centre to become operational, and in war four minutes were crucial.
“Lower the shield to fifteen percent, allow the Destroyers through and give them covering fire.”
“The last of our platforms are near destroyed Commander.”
“Just do it, order the surface weapons to open fire, hit that fleet with everything we have.”
“What about the infantry forces on the surface Commander?”
“Leave them, with the surface tower destroyed they won’t be able to penetrate the factory. The pressure will crush their hides, now do as I ordered!.”
From the Water world the Republics destroyers rose from the oceans like a storm of fury, judging their enemies souls and spirits to damnation and hell beyond. Turbolasers fired with irrefutable contempt while missile flew in a continuous stream from the surface and destroyers at large.
Most of the vessels had been attacked by light infantry, their sensor globes torn form their brackets were left on to sink into the depths of Kaminos. The shields however were strong, and unhampered. Unlike most vessels Imperial Star Destroyers shield emitters are located within the hull, providing an almost skin tight bubble, far superior to some other technological decisions.
The republic forces Erupted form the atmosphere in fury, the Dooman fleet would find themselves outnumbered, outflanked and out gunned. It was only a matter of time now, before the first separatist faction fell, at the start of the war.
Turning Admiral Gaver laughed at the Dooman attempt to seal the blackholes. “Give them another volley, aim outside of the battle, we are only to prevent them from escaping.” He said with particular joy.
Around the battle field great swathes of light disappeared into great dark discs of malice and evil. Ties and bombers went forth with their droid escorts, to begin taking the enemy apart while ion cannons and turbo lasers attacked from range. With six hundred destroyers concentrating their firepower on the enemies exposed and turned flagship, the Admiral could negate their primary weapons for the moment.
Below on the surface the command tower had been breeched, Commander Velian moved to his nearest attacker with anger and hate flowing through him. Lifting a sabre hilt from his side belt he ignited the red blade in an instant, cutting down the approaching infantryman with a certain sick pleasure, the commander moved towards the evacuation lift.
“Seal command tower controls, and raise the planets shield to 100% power, nothing is to get through, nothing at all, am I understood?”
From the secondary command post a clear “Yes sir could be heard.”
In a few solitary moments Sirus felt something new in the force, something twisted, angered with pain and raw emotion. It was Hawkins. Smirking, Sirus continued to the living decks of the factory, now that he had unmasked himself in the force the Jedi would know his location. New New Hebrides System
Galactic Rim
The ludicrously named New New Hebrides System was not famous for anything. It was one of a thousand countless system that comprised the galactic rim. It had a fairly respectable mining establishment on its third planet and a agricultural based society on its fourth. They were mere country bumpkins when view by those in the Coreworlds, and they viewed those spin ward as urban fools who did not understand the sweetness and purity of the simple life.
Because of the systems obscurity it made for a perfect Rebel Alliance base. Granted the Alliance was declared “dead” with the surrender of the Coreworlds Tenita. The Coreworlds were not the only ones fighting at the time and the alliance fractured. Those who felt betrayed by the Cordians at Tenita forsaken their former comrades and continued the fight under Knight Hawkins, it was not easy and they suffered much trial but in the end they’ve persevered to this day. As such in exile Hawkins rested in refuge in the small base in a nameless canyon on the planets surface. The base maintains a few medium transports and a half dozen gun ships as well as three squadrons of fighters, A large concentration of force for the alliance indeed.
Hawkins sleep an unfruitful sleep in his small barracks, he thoughts were preyed upon my his recent actions, the death of Jennifer, his expulsion from the order, his maiming of his friend Caller, and most importantly the Sith. He knew it was they not Thrawn who were behind everything, the sith always were exceptional puppet masters. He was haunted by the scene of his prolepses that Fiona would become a most power sith lord, he saw her acceptance of those dark powers willingly, it was a sort of punishment for him he supposed.
It was most frustrating because he remembered the evil laugh that the sith master bellowed in his dream, he knew this faceless sith was behind everything, and that laugh the sadistic nature of it reminded him of only one sith lord, Palpatine, yet he was long dead, the sith they faced now must be a student on his. The sith were able to conceal their actions from any jedi and they did so here, Hawkins only knew they were behind every their exact actions he knew not.
Hawkins was hit simultaneously with two very powerful disturbances in the force enough that it awoke him from his slumber in a cold sweat gasping for breath.
A sith had revealed himself to Hawkins, he knew who it was…Darth Sirus. The man whom murdered his wife, Hawkins would bring him to justice. What was most strange was that he was on Kaminos, he must investigate that immediately.
The second were hundreds screams of pain, that told his spine cold, they were the screams of brave warriors in bondage, they were of his friends and comrades and he must save them, The Ice planet he must travel to, but he sensed something at play there not a trap per say but perhaps an opportunity. Ahhh he understood now, they were evil the Chronosian, this was normal for them, it was also purposeful it was their way of an invitation to talk to him, it was just the only way they knew how to contact him, he would talk to them first or kill them he hadn’t decided yet as he set the coordinates into his nav-computer.
Hawkins left the base in his ragged x-wing and was off to the Ice planet.
In hyper he reached out through the force and found Sirus on the Kaminos, he saw him in the midst of commanding a great battle, wearing a Republican uniform, so that was his game hiding among his enemies even Hawkins admitted the cleverness of the whole thing.
Your time is at an end Sith, I shall strike you down and nothing will stop me this time Hawkins told the sith in an icy cold voice, dripping with his malice.

The fleet was an interesting combination of ships, the Regular fleet units consisted of the three assembled BatRons from the Republic Center’s orbit, 24 Super-Dreadnaughts, half that in Battle cruisers with a complete screen, a very impressive force. They formed a massive wall of Battle that launched a wall of missiles at their opponents no less then 36,000 missiles each would detonate at range with pelting the enemy with a force equivalent with a turbo laser.
The most peculiar aspect was the ships in the vanguard of the regular Confederate units. None were as large as the 4 km long Super dreadnaughts but they were easily recognizable as ships of the Rebel Alliance. Mon Cal Cruisers, coreillan Corvettes, gun ships and cruisers, bulk cruisers from the rim, bulk carriers, each class varied but together formed an impressive force, the two thousand snub nosed fighters it carried would have been joined by an equal number of LACs from the regular units for close in attacks on the enemy.

Even as the singularity did it's work on the bridge, it wasn't enough to prevent destruction of the Firestorm...again!
"Damn, that's the fourth time this happened..." I smacked my forehead as I saw the ship break up and I knew escape pods would be picked up. Then I sensed a disturbance in the Force...

THink of the countless battles that took place here...The Great HYperspace War; The Jedi Civil War...All fuelling the ever present dark; all consuming, all knowing...Harnessed for this one moment. You must harness your own darkness and send it forth, howling, screaming; your tool, your guide...And with that power, we shall take the Valley of the Jedi for ourselves, and both Republic and Seperatist shall break...What do you feel?"
THATAWAY...
Kelvin's hand actually jerked out in the general direction of Korriban when he finally managed to get a hold of Fiona's signature.
Kelvin's only problem was that he didn't know that the planet he was pointing at was Korriban... or how far away that place was. He was struck by how... odd the space around that point in the sky was. It was like trying to find a quarter in a puddle of mud. And he also sensed another presence there. Strong, not even close to his own power, but still strong compared to those he had already met in this universe.
While he could not gauge the distance between Coruscant and this strange murky world directly, he had other means of figuring such issues out. Extending a portion of his will out towards Fiona's signature, he sent out a Shadow Avatar to find out exactly where she was, and what in the blue hell she was doing...
It was not long before a strange murky figure stood atop a cliff, looking down upon Fiona and... the other fellow. The nature of the Shadow Avatar prevented any hope of actually hearing anything, so Kelvin would have to make do with lip-reading and body language for the most part...

Daniel had failed to calculate the reaction time of the Defiler's transport systems. The bombs were once again teleported away from the bridge, but only to go off in the process of rematerialization. The bombs were farther away from the Defiler, but close enough to the rest of the fleet to take out three cruisers, a destroyer, and a frigate. The Defiler's escort was now mostly useless, as it consisted of just three other vessels.
As the escape pods from the Firestorm were ejected, the inhabitants were beamed off, into the Defiler's Temple (more commonly called a conversion center). They would soon meet horrible fates...

A figure stood in the doorway behind Kelvin in a rather slacked but relaxed pose that he probably inherited from his former master. He was of average height and build nothing impressive at all. He smiled at Kelvin with a toothy grin one may have seen in Han Solo or Corran Horn, must be the Coreillan blood.
"Well I imagine right now someone I know would say told you so, but thats neither here nor there." He then turned more serious. “Even those most far gone have the ability to return to the light remember.”

With a war-whoop the LACs and B-wings of the confederate Navy bore into the ranks of the Separatist fleet, grasers burning into hulls, torpedoes impacting in fiery explosions as Ion cannons lanced across hulls.
Back with the main body of the fleet Rear Admiral Vincent Catelli stared into the massive Holo-tank on his battle bridge. He groaned when he saw the destruction of Maskai’s flagship. They would have to close the range and trap the Separatist fleet now. His wall of battle closed with the separatists once they reached energy range missiles ceased firing, replaced by graser and turbo laser fire.

"My Lord, the enemy fleet rises from the planet's surface." yelled the sensor operator.
"Oh, well. We've already set back their clone production a month, and that's more than enough to cost them dearly. Order the rest of the fleet to pilot into the enemy vessels and self destruct. Charge the weapon."
"Aye, sir. Weapon charging."
"Order the batteries to fire at will, take out as many as possible."
"Yes, m'lord."[/i]
The three surviving vessels turned towards the enemy fleet, heading to maximum impulse and taking heavy damage. Finally, they closed with the enemy fleet, and activated their self destruct.
As that happened, the Defiler shot away, its turrets turned, and began fireing into the fleet with the ion cannons and turbo lasers. Finally, it turned, and revealed its main weapon. Once again, the massive beam lurched forward, heading straight for the mass of ISDs, and bursting in the middle. Once again, the very fabric of space was torn, causing any ships caught within its huge area of effect to be ripped apart.
Suddenly, a wormhole was opened just in front of the Defiler. This wormhole was particularly unstable, and would be tricky to get through. They hit maximum impulse, putting the front of the ship through the event horizon. It began to suck the rest through, but suddenly cut short when it was about 4/5ths done. When it surface on the other side, a large chunk of the ship was missing...
Daniel would have noticed the darkness suddenly fade as the ship pulled through, and then a dark voice.

Meanwhile, on the surface, the men had decided not to let the command crew escape.
"The heretics are escaping!" yelled one of the men as the commander ran towards the elevator.
"No you don't!" yelled another, hurling a cleanser grenade into the elevator. It landed inside just as the door closed. The cleanser grenade worked on the came principles as the main weapon of the Defiler, tearing open a tiny temporary subspace rift that would, in effect, vaporize everything within the blast radius. Meanwhile, the others continued to shoot up the command center, hunting down anything that was still alive. Marius was standing by the window as the self destruct hit zero...
As the tower was engulfed in flame, Marius was flung thousands of meters from the tower, away from the other men who floated in the water...
Kelvin detected the presence of another Jedi near him, yet did not waver in his gaze into the sky, he did not want to lose his Shadow Avatar's silent vigil.
"Actually, I was aware of her potential for such actions as soon as I looked at her after Miss Masaki's untimely demise. The force thrummed around her in a dark haze that told me she was well on her way to snapping," Kelvin told Caller, still unwavering in his gaze.

“I think we all underestimated the power the dark side has over her heart. She was the good daughter and she loved her mother more than anything. Did you know the story of why Jennifer died?” Caller asked before continuing.
“My master and her survived the bombardment of the senate, and were surrounded by Imperial Forces who blamed them for the attack. My master held them off allowing Jennifer to escape, its ironic the man who sacrificed himself to save her would be her killer. I managed to get Jennifer off the planet into hiding, this is the time Thrawn altered Master Hawkins mind, but the first place we looked for refugee was with Daniel, he attempted to arrest us and cast his own mother out. Fiona never forgave him for that betrayal, and the Masaki’s are a stubborn lot, she never could admit that Daniel had no other choice in the matter. Fiona began her courtship with the dark side then and now I fear she is it’s mistress entirely of her own free will.” Caller finished the tragic story there.
“We all saw it coming I think we were just afraid to admit the sith could turn one so close to us all. If they can turn her then anyone can fall victim to the seduction offered by the dark side…we were scared even my master was though he recognized her symptoms recognized a part of himself in her I think.”
The wind at this height was whipping Kelvin's hair like a hurricane, but he ignored it. He simply kept an unshakable stare in the general direction of Korriban, which meant, at this time, that he was staring down at the ground of Coruscant and a little to his left...
"Pray tell, how is it that you became aware of her presence? I have to admit I had been trying to draw a clear line to her presence but was unable to do so until but a few minutes ago. And how is it that you are up and about already? Last I remember, you were still primarily unconscious in the infirmary."

"I drink a lot of milk and eat my spinach" The bad joke was a defense mechanism for him. "But really getting one's arm chopped off is the sort of event one wants to recuperate from quickly and not be reminded of often." Caller said a bit defensively the area was still a deep emotional wound for him.
"As for locating Fiona I cant admit to having done that, feeling the wound in the force that her embrace of darkness had brought is a rape of the force anyone who claims to be above a padawan should feel. I've spent the past few days meditating I can feel what was Fiona try to fight to escape the corporal walls of the prison her body has become and lose that battle. She is as much a victim to the Sith's assault as her mother was." He paused before continuing.
"We know the sith are on the move that they are some sort of puppet masters behind this Separatists affair, my master warned us of it and we only exiled him instead of acting upon it. We Jedi are a proud lot and that's our weakness and so I ask you what are we going to do? The answer to me is simple we should find Fiona and bring her back into the light before it is too late. We owe her that much as jedi and comrade."
"Dark, Light, it is all the same to me, the only thing that truly matters is intention. Those who follow Sith tenets, like that Chaos Sith down there who seems to be leading Fiona like a chained dog, cause misery and death by their very nature, not by their powers. I cannot let my friend's sister fall under the thrall of that type of person... I know all to well what happens to them, in this life AND the next."

""Life after this, there is only the force as long as its ally we remain we shall return to it as well, i will belive nothing else..." Caller said solomly.
"It appears they are leaving, thier plan I hazzard to guess is to go to areas of where there existed a great battle in the force, probably to show Fiona the power of the darkside. The question is where are they going next..." Caller vocation in the order was that of a councillor so he had great knowledge of the force and its history. He considered the great sith leaders, Exar Kun, Darth Malak, Revan, Vader, Palpatine. There seemed to be only one choice for there next location, Yavin Four, the tomb of Exar Kun, the Jedi no longer guarded that area now that they moved back to the Republic Center.
"We should go to Yavin Four, quickly" Caller told his comrade knowing he probably could have read his thought process that lead him to that conclusion. "We need to confront Fiona yet we mustn't tell Daneil if he is with us we wont have a chance in turning her back to the light, her hatred of him runs too deep now."
"Believe what you will," Kelvin replied, "I prefer to believe my father in that matter... Daniel can attest to Him."
Kelvin watched the two Sith walk away, blissfully unaware of the surprisingly obvious shadowy figure keeping an eye on them. "Personal preferences aside, however, I must agree that it would be wise to confront them elsewhere. Despite my confidence in being able to use the energies that flow around this world so easily, it seems as though the force here is... disrupted somehow... fractured. It is at best a tenuous thing, and I know not how much of a push I would be able to give it before something... bad happens."

Perhaps it was because he was born into a life of poverty, or that he was trained with Master Hawkins appreciation of a Spartan lifestyle, but when Caller told Kelvin to pack for the trip he assumed that he would grab an extra shirt and a pair of skivvies, if time provided a sleeping bag. And so he was a little annoyed when Kelvin came strolling in to the hanger bay a couple hours later whistling a diddy.
“We are over here Kelvin.” Caller yelled his comrade somewhat grumpily. The “we” caller referred to was not only is old and battered vessel he called his ship but also the old and just as batted R2 unit at his side, Squeeky was the finest co pilot in the galaxy. The ship and it was probably generous to call her that much was an old Coreillan gunship. Its weapons were routed to an automation system though while not as accurate as a human’s hand it was efficient enough nonetheless as Caller was not used to having anyone else to man them. The ships engines were first rate though as well as her hyper drive.
Caller waited for Kelvin to board, showed him his “quarters” where he could stow his gear, consisting of a small closet with a bunk rack and refresher. Then he sat in his seat and manned the helm, the gunship rose rather shakingly into the heavy air traffic above the Temple and made its way into space, its destination the Yavin system.
Vector blinked at the sudden surge of light, and yawned massively, rising to his full just-under-seven-foot-height in the process. He gave Thrawn an intense once over, then chuckled.
"For some odd reason, I thought you'd be taller.
He gave a rather patronizing bow, and beamed a wide and dangerously toothy grin at the Grand Admiral. "Greetings and salutations and other randomized declarations of welcome! My name is Vector, the man who rather unsuccessfully worked to assassinate senator Vedil under what I THOUGHT was your order."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kelvin took one look at what was to be his room for however long it would take to get to Yavin and however long after. Compared to Daniel's shuttle, he actually considered this an improvement.
He dumped the contents of his bags on the bed, Concussion and plasma grenades, a few fragmentation grenades, and a trio of hefty blocks of some metal he understood were surprisingly resistant to lightsabers. After some effort at shaping the blocks with his hands and his telekinetic abilities, he had three perfect spheres of surprisingly dense metal. The spheres would come in handy later.
Kelvin meandered up to the cockpit, chewing a piece of his newly acquired pack of Strawberry Bubbalicious...

Caller groaned as the Nav-computer failed to compute the proper coordinates for Yavin instead giving him a vector to Kaut.
"I thought you said you fixed this thing Squeaky" he grumbled to his droid who responded to him with some angry sounding beats. "Well apparently you didn’t, ya rust bucket, guess I need to do it all myself" he grumbled even more to the droid pulling a rusty hammer from a drawer he proceed to bash the computer about a bit, when it returned the correct data he merely laughed. "See how hard that was ?" He told the droid as they went into hyper they were off to Yavin.
Caller's stomach growled and he went to the galley of his ship drawing a couple tins of bantha stew that he heated and brought one to Kelvin, who he found in his quarters still with his weapons surrounded about him. He handed him one of the tins of the stew and took a heaping bite from his own. The stuff was probably twice as old as Caller and tasted just as foul but Caller loved the stuff nonetheless.
"I've heard that you once faced Darth Sirus that's pretty impressive for one of your age Kevlin and it speaks much of your ability. This situation will be different though, our enemy here is our friend whose hatred and anger can compel her to an unbelievable feats of strength in the force. Remember the plan once we reach Yavin stay cloaked hidden from the force, I will draw them out, do not reveal yourself until I give the signal, should I fall before that time make your way back to the ship, Squeaky is a fine pilot, and tell Daniel what happened here, Ill need your word on that, do not face these two alone...understood?"
Caller's voice was hard, cold, and serious. He knew the boy with him was strong, but their enemies were more so, this was a risky mission. Stuff could go wrong and quickly it was a fact that even the best trained Jedi could be killed in a second against the Sith, the boy was strong but he needed more experience the opponents they faced today were masters in the force and seasoned in their trade. Caller thought the boy would have a lot of new experience before they would leave Yavin.
Kelvin sniffed at the can of... goop, then took a slight sip from the tin. He gulped it down almost as soon as it entered his mouth, making every effort to prevent it from touching his tongue.
"You know, in my wanderings around the outer rim, there is a planet, covered in jungles and mud, where everything is quite venomous and lethal to eat... save one particularly interesting beetle. This beetle, apparently survives by being the absolute most disgustingly bad tasting thing on the planet. Think of what it would taste like to crack open a coconut and the contents were purified skunk stench, with a few extra spices like rotting lemons and other yummy things. I had to live on the odious things for about three weeks."
He began chugging the rest of the can, finishing it off in under fifteen seconds.
"Keeping that in perspective, this is quite good."
He placed the can on the bed, among the various grenades, and listened to Callers plan.
"Yes, I faced Darth Sirus. He surprised me somewhat in his ability, but he fled before I could bring the real big guns to bear. I did however learn a couple of his abilities during the fight. I suspect that many people cannot quite comprehend my learning capacity. I learned how to teleport after watching Mister Masaki do it once, and I learned how to summon lightning from him as well in a similar manner.
"I will however acquiesce to your wishes. I do not intend to harm Fiona directly, but I will stop Her and those with her by whatever means possible, and I suspect that issue will become much more difficult if it is suddenly two-on-one. Strong as I may be, such a situation is never favorable. And Daniel will need to know what has happened in any event."
The enemy vessels impacted with their intentions destroying three Republic Star Destroyers with impunity. The surface of the water world was another matter entirely, the ocean littered bodies and wreckage was now home to millions of trapped Dooman warriors, slowly freezing to death in the turbulent waters. While hundreds of meters below the Kaminan cities slowly began to surface. It would be three weeks until they reached the atmosphere and a further five days until they could begin dispatching vessels. The pressure of the world was so vast that nothing apart form the huge structures could survive so deep.
Commander Velian received a small gift as he attempted to flee down the lift. A grenade kindly thrown through the lift doors landed at his feet. Waving his hand, the enemy infantry would find the said grenade inside his mech suit, in a most unfortunate place.
Smirking as he descended into the depths of the city, Velian was left in contemplation as the tower began to self destruct.
As news of Kaminos spread all over the Republic millions would wake up to the first victory of the war. The separatist war machine had been beaten back, while casualties taken by allied forces were minimal, with the enemy losing millions of infantry in a botched and failed attempt at acquiring the cloners secrets.
Canceller Vedil had even made a speech to his war ready Galaxy, proud of the militaries accomplishments, and repeatedly demonstrating his faith in the new military command structure.
Meanwhile in the outer rim……
Thrawn looked up at Vector, with his calm, chilling face. “Cynicism is that what you brought me here for captain? Cynicism does not win wars bounty hunter, ships, tactics and weapons of war do, tell me what information do you have that could be so important?”

"Sometimes I laugh or cry when I think of my current situation, a Jedi Knight, never growing up did I ever think I would see a Jedi much less be a Jedi. You know when the Cordians betrayed the Rebel Alliance and their allies at Tenetia?" Caller asked, it was a harsh statement and unfair in many ways, but nonetheless true. "Did you know that in the darkest days of the GE, that the standard of living in the slums of Exartha improved? There were weeks were I ate nothing but the trash the collaborators threw out and drank dirty moldy water. The Imperials at least gave us an entire meal a day! "I suppose that is why me and him are a little different the other Jedi around, why we live the way we do, so Spartan I mean, we know no other way. The Masaki's for all they been through are famously rich, rulers of once a great empire, even the best people like them do not realize the suffering the forgotten bums in the slums live through, that is why the Republic overthrew the GE, its the people not its leaders, The Republic gives hope to many who never knew it existed, and so do we Jedi."
"I digress though, we are almost to the Yavin System. Lets go to the Bridge, we can talk more there. One last thing, If this all goes south...Just remember your training, remember why we are Jedi and you shall survive. This is not police work or training its the real deal, we are the sentry who stands on the bridge, darkness shall not be allowed to pass." With that Caller made for the bridge.

"Release the men..." The Commander hissed; and scuttling tech priest things; things once human...moved to do his will. The men were released from their agonies.
"Now; Knight Hawkins...Will you at least hear and consider our offer?" He smiled lightly, wryly. "We will give you the force needed to defeat the Sith; a righteous weapon that not even the Council shall have forseen. The coupling of the Force and the arcane art of Technology...You shall be reborn..."
"I agree that the Jedi need an ally in this conflict, we are spread out among the fleet and exposed worlds, there is only 10,000 of us left other then our champions we have no way to project our force in a time of war like this. Take what you need from me, this is my sacrifice to defeat the Sith and their army."
Hawkins lowered his saber clipping it back to his belt. The Jedi needed all the help they could get, the sith were massing he could feel it.
"The thing I won’t have is a bunch of copies of me running around. I doubt that most of the prisoners you released from their torment are more then vegetables at this point, drooling all over themselves their bodies mutilated beyond recognition. My Comrades shall be my first knights my inner circle. Heal them, give them the force, their minds and bodies back and I shall let you do what you need to on me." Hawkins said gravelly.
Vector grinned. "Ah, but intelligence wins wars far more than any of those! After all, ships and guns and strategies are all well and good, but much use you'll have of them if you don't know where to point the damn things!"
"Now I feel it necessary to point out that I had a rather annoying time dealing with the assassination. A trio of Coredian jedi assaulted my droid, who held them off quite nicely himself, and I had to deal with Senator Hawkins as well, who rather foolishly rushed to the Senator's aid. Now bear in mind, that after causing a droid stampede and throwing grenades like I was TPing his ship, trouncing a trio of nin-jedi, tossing mister Hawkins around like a rag-doll, and likely having a dead person count in the medium hundreds, I should have had no trouble turning mister Vedil into a blob of odd smelling goo.
"Alas, it was not to be. For it turns out that Mister Paragon of Virtue Senator Vedil is one of the most powerful Sith Lords I have ever had the misfortune to cross swords with. And I would say it was half skill, half luck, and about one thousandth providence that I managed to escape with both my mind and body intact, though I often receive accusations that my mind was never really intact in the first place, after the discovery of this information. Capische?"
Vector leaned back and gave Thrawn a satisfied look.
"And y'all had better have fed my dog while I was in here... he tends to get rambunctious when he's on an empty stomach."

"Truth be told," Kelvin said as he heard Caller's reference to Jedi training, "I never HAD any jedi training. I was going to train at Corneliuan, but they switched over to the Empire rather suddenly, and the Godulans commenced an emergency evac and got me out of there. Since then, it has mostly been personal introspection and Godulan combat training.
"Much good Jedi training would have been, anyway. I have come to the realization that I follow an entirely different aspect of the Force, and also that I seem to be the only one who proscribes to this particular... theory. As such, the best way for me to go is apparently through personal introspection and... well... seeing what everybody else does with the Force. I only refer to myself as a Jedi as I have no wish to be considered a Sith, however, if a secondary term relating to someone capable of pulling an 'I am all, I am none' act should happen to come into common use, I will likely take that moniker for myself."

The Zephyr came out of hyper above the fourth moon of Yavin and Caller had squeaky put the ship down in a clearing a few kilometers from the old rebel base/Jedi academy.
“A Jedi is not made because of any official routine of training. True we learn some skills through such training but it is not that training that makes us Jedi. Being a Jedi is a way of life, we are that through our actions more then anything else. In the end, how we accomplish something is just as important as what was accomplished.” Caller said as they walked through the Jungle entering the clearing right before the massive temple.
“Well lets go on it hasn’t been abandoned long…”

Kelvin stepped out of the ship and gave the surrounding jungle a quick once-over, then returned to the ship to acquire his hefty supply of explosive devices.
After a couple minutes of surveying the environment, he decided to let his brain take the lead. He had no clue where he was going, but he was certain it was important. Signalling for Caller to follow, he romped off into the jungle at a surprisingly quick pace.

Kelvin stopped cold, and looked back... then started retracing his steps to the point where his feet made a metallic noise rather than the typical sound of feet on foliage.
>clonk... clonkclonkclonk<
Kelvin reached down and felt through the foliage... evidently some overgrown branch was impacting some sort of hatch. Iiiiiiiinteresting...
He forced the thick underbrush out of the way and saw what appeared to be an undisturbed hatch of some kind. Rusty, but it opened with after a few concerted tugs. Holding it open, he dropped down the hatch without the slightest hesitation.
Stagnant air and darkness greeted him when he finally contacted the floor. It was a surprisingly large room considering the nature of its entrance.
Using his second sight, he took stock of this strange chamber he had quite literally stumbled upon, and grinned gleefully.
"THESE might prove useful... I wonder if they still work..."

He was hurt though by a sudden scream in the force gone as quick as it was heard,

IC:Biggs looked upon the snub fighter group that returned to the Mon Carrade, of the five squadrons that soared out of her bay earlier that day just under four returned, they had taken some losses. Most of the fighters were damaged scarred by near hits as he looked over the sixty or so fighters that were clustered together tightly in the small fighter bay.
Antilles never wanted to be a leader he never even wanted to be a warrior. That was what his grandfather sacrificed so much for. Wedge gave so much of himself finding love only with the defeat of the Vong, his grand father finally settled down with Iella Wessiri. His uncle Han joined the ranks of the military but for the most part Wedges decedents became farmers or ran the fueling branch that Wedge had rebuilt. Events though were cruel and like many the Antilles suffered under the Imperial Regime. Forcing Biggs to join the rebellion much like his grandfather before him, at a young age and now at 26 he had been apart of it for 12 years already and among the Alliance he held as much respect as his grandfather had.
He wadded through his pilots and comrade really wanting to only get to the bar and knock back some lum, it was really the only thing that would stop his shakes after a tough mission. His mind wander for a moment, he was jerked out of his reverie, as his body was pushed into the fuselage of a nearby Y-wing. The cause of this source made itself clear as the 160 cm tall, nymph of a female jumped onto him wrapping her legs around his waste, her orange flight suit opened and hanging by her slim waist only her thin form fitting green t-shirt clung to her shapely chest. Biggs looked into her beautiful face, well beautiful to him, to most its angular sharp curves her almond eyes and curly short cropped her made her more handsome then beautiful to most though Biggs would have punched out the first man to tell him that. Her lips soon met his and they embraced for the first time in months…perhaps there were better things then lum to stop his shakes after a battle…
“Hello beautiful…”She told him when they each took a breath.
“Hello yourself darling” Biggs said quickly to his girl Samica, much to the now thundering applause of their comrades gathered around them, and their cheers. “It’s so good to see you again” His duties to the alliance often prevented them from seeing one another more often then every few months. The time apart was hell.
Both there appetites finally appeased for the moment she settled for remain behind his right side her arms wrapped around her lover’s waist. All eyes were upon them, every tech and pilot in the room was happy for the couple, they were a close family, many such shared such bonds it gave them hope. They looked upon Biggs expectantly.
Biggs knew what they wanted such things came with the responsibility he accepted long ago as their commander. He turned around and pulled himself up unto the wing of a nearby Y-wing and then pulled Samica up with him she assumed her previous position at his side. Biggs scanned those gathered about the hanger deck, his friends all. There by her A-wing was Tracy Scroggins of the now Republic Center, she fled the Imperial world at an early age, her and Biggs went way back, during the darkest days of the Rebellion after Tenetia he first met her, her body was smaller then that of Samica, her head was shaved and she was heavily tattooed in the most beautiful unique patterns reminding Biggs of the Woad warriors or myth. There love was only a physical one that Biggs remembers fondly, now she was a squadron commander herself. Behind her sulked possibly to two largest beings in the room Talfar, a Devonian, and Zerk Redden a barrel chested and bearded man, like a mountain man, they were two of the best bomber pilots in the galaxy. No one could doubt they were a motley crew but by the Force they were his men, and their existed no better in the universe.
“My friends! We won a great victory today!” Cheers erupted at his announcement he raised his hands to quiet them. “We all sacrificed much in our noble cause, our new republic is fledgling under the stress of the Separatists and their allies. Yet we are here, we are its defenders and I swear by the force so long as we draw breath no empire or any other form of a tyrant shall rule over the Republic again. Long live the Republic!” At that many repeated his vow and swore their lives in defense of the new republic, uncontrollable cheers now rang through the hanger bay, and the celebrations began.

"We shall be exiting momentarily." The Admiral said in a half-paid attentive tone.
"Admiral I am talking to you, I do not take kindly to those who do not pay attention!" He snarled, and he raised his hands and closed it like a fist. All throughout the body of the Admiral, bones snapped and twisted visibly and others popped through his body he scream. The pain was unbearable and the Admiral screamed in a blood chilling scream, Desciver laughed, "Captain Drake you are now my admiral." He said in a voice that meant a warning.
"Ye... Yes M'Lord." The newly christened Admiral stuttered.
"Exiting Hyperspace Dread Lord!" The navigator announced.
Desciver smiled as the ship exited Hyperspace at Chronosia's capital. "Transmit the transmission!" Desciver barked.
Chronosia, we have come. It is time to bring the war to our enemies... We have produced a strategy and are planned to take the Republic to it's knees.
The massive armada of over 70 ISDs and various smaller ships, including the White painted Eclipse, The Dragon's Wrath exited hyperspace
Kelvin sat outside the small hatch, a surprisingly pristine toolkit from the hidden chamber by his side as he worked on his latest discovery.
Evidently the small bomb shelter was built in the days of the first rebellion against the empire, apparently in anticipation of the possibility that the empire would decide not to send the Death Star and instead blockade the planet with a fleet of Star Destroyers, preventing the rebels from escaping and forcing them to go to ground.
In hindsight, the latter would likely have been the better maneuver.
In any event, the shelter came fully stocked with relatively undisturbed, if ancient, equipment. Enough food to last several years (ruined by now), weapons (run down by now), and a trio of what he guessed were surprisingly well armed scout droids. There were actually four of the latter, but a small cave-in had given the last one a rather ignominious end, and the rest had fallen silent and inactive due to the fact that they had been sitting there for more than a hundred years. Even on standby mode, their batteries ran down a long time ago.
Easy enough to rectify.
Kelvin fitted one of the biggest blaster rifles to the last scout, along with a decent number of grenades from his relatively prodigious supply, and sent it off in the general direction of the temple, with a new set of orders and a few extra bits of programming that Kelvin dredged up in the back storage of his mind. Refined stealth protocols, a couple tidbits of -on-many tactics, and a nice supply of combat protocols... basic stuff.
With that, he aimed for Caller's force signature and snapped off a quick teleport, appearing beside the still meditating yet now quite distressed Caller.

Yavin IV burned as the missiles impacted upon its surface, making it into a raging inferno. Any of the shots aimed at the temple would have impacted on the temples massive a quite sturdy stone walls.
Caller sent one command to his droid who quickly powered up his ship and made to quickly live the system, for if it remained on the moon’s surface it most likely would have been destroyed.
Caller waited for his two guest to arrive in the center of the ancient temple.
"Master," Scout_bot_01 queried as they watched the planet burn, "Subjecting a supposedly uninhabited world to full-scale orbital bombardment positively reeks of ill-wisdom."
"Not exactly the most efficient means to set down a landing party, is it? After all, they were not as enthusiastic to conduct a similar assault upon Korriban while Fiona and her new master were standing upon its surface."
"They have done this before, master?"
"Yes," Kelvin replied, "Not two days ago, actually. Well... not the orbital bombardment, anyway. Speaking of which..."
Kelvin sent a message over to Caller:
I would suggest moving your ship into the temple. It would avoid the nasty chance that the Chronosian ships above decide to turn your vessel into a moving firing range, and I doubt whoever is commanding that fleet would be so stupid as to blow the very thing he is hoping to exploit the hell up, despite his already quite evident tactical ineptitude in bombarding a planet that is for all intents and purposes completely abandoned...

"Go my children, my brothers...go, one and all. Find the secrets of the Ancient Sith, unlock the mysteries within..Find the location of the Valley and soon victory will be ours...Already worlds fall before the might of the new Sith Empire!"
Thorough about what? Blowing the everlasting hell out of anything even remotely resembling a tree? It smacks of inefficiency, but then, that is my Godulan training coming back.
I am sending out the droids... now... and giving them a few boosts before they go.
placing his droids under a stealth ward was quite easy, as the droids only had their latent energy signatures to hide, with no worries about force auras, and giving all three of them speed boosts was similarly simple.
After the last one had its final needed arcane run placed on one of its shoulders, he sent all three droids out, heavily armed and heavily boosted, to go make war upon the Chaos Minions.
Today, they would learn that orbital bombardments do not solve problems...
A couple missiles deflected onto enemy positions would also be amusing evidence of that.

Caller reached out with his mind to Lord Chronos' apprentice,
Fiona, I feel your hurt...the sorrow the lays siege to your heart. Beware that the path you follow is not one that will redeem your soul or quiet the demons that ravage your soul. The dark side will only amplify such things, it is a path of solitude...should you take that path you will be alone, not even the force shall remain your companion then. It is not to late, I can still sense the good in you can still be saved. Come to the temple...
Caller awaited his guest. He thought coldly that the Fiona’s next action could very well secure her fate she could redeem herself casting off her hate, that was the best obvious outcome. Or she could embrace her dark side, she would attack him. He laughed bitterly to himself for a moment well he didn’t suppose he ever really was going to come back from this mission anyway, and the prospect of death didn’t even scare him in the least. For Caller was a Jedi and for people like him,
There is no emotion, there is peace
There is no ignorance, there is knowledge
There is no passion, there is serenity
There is no death, there is the Force
And he drew his resolve from those sacred words, the force strengthened him and prepared him for what ever may come.

Hawkins looked into the eyes of the demon that tortured his body over the last day. He could feel his new strength in his physic ability. Even before his alteration Hawkins’ body was weathered considerably, scarred and pitted from years of battle. Now it was even more so. His muscles which before were already well defined were now more so, yet his flesh was horribly pitted and scarred even more due to the process of the transformation. Hawkins had sacrificed much over the years for duty, as a soldier and as a Jedi, his body was one such thing. His friends were another, all he had left now was his soldiers and his sense of duty and he would protect both.
The data pad the Chronosian gave to him smoked and crackled with electricity as it was crushed by his massive palm.
Hawkins felt a disturbance in the force, he found it because its source meant so much to him, that of his student. He enjoyed his new stronger powers in the areas of the mind, he was limited in this area before his alteration by the Chronosian’s. He laughed to himself as he realized Caller’s plan because it reminded him of something he would have launched himself.
He knew what he had to do he issued orders to his officers on the flag bridge. Moments later Hawkins and the small flotilla of ships he commanded disappeared into hyperspace.

Marius was in a tight spot. He'd been blown so far away that he'd shot clean over the rest of his comrades, and had survived the ion attack as a result. He had enough nutrient injections to last him a month. He would now have to wait for a transport to overfly him so he could hitch a ride....

Somewhere in Dooman Space
The Emperor sat in his massive throne room alone. He was dormant, meditating. He'd sensed many disturbances in the Force. Someone had trespassed on his old capital.
He had existed for hundreds of thousands of years, partialy as a human. In that time, he'd seen the rise and fall of thousands of Empires, including the Old Republic. He knew what was going on, he just didn't know the exact details. All that he knew was that someone was trying to rebuild the ancient Sith Empire, once ruled by Revan...once ruled by him...

The claxons boomed as the cities slowly bust the surface of the turbulent Kaminan oceans, dead dooman warriors were pushed away by the rising domes and structures while the first transport departed the water world.
Bursting out of the ocean it flew upwards into the atmosphere, the wings turning a bright orange from the force of friction, illuminating the night. “So that is the plan Captain.” Hawkins told the old man wearing a closely cropped white beard. He wore no rank that would have identified him as a commander but as Hawkins well knew he was a veteran of the Rebellion and an old friend.
“If it was anyone else asking than you I would tell them to go Frack themselves, but damned I don't do it for you Sir.” The old man to the weary looking Jedi, time had not been kind to either of them but fire still burned in their souls.
The former Jedi extended his hand to his old friend who clasped it, Hawkins had told the old rebel everything that had happened to him, his alteration, his exile, his nightmares, and his fear of the new republic falling to the abyss of the sith. This were concerned that the Jedi Council, and the Republic itself have refused to acknowledge, for fear of the specters of the past.
Hawkins knew about fear, it was something many chose to hide from rather than confront for fear of its cost and the painful consequences it could bring. Hawkins though he understood something about fear, it would never go away when ignored it would manifest itself in your own being or in that of others. The inability to act because of fear manifest evil and for evil to triumph all that was needed was for good men to do nothing.
Hawkins may no longer be a Jedi, than again was he ever really one to begin with? Yet he understood fear, he realized
There was nothing to fear but fear itself.

An assault frigate jumped out of hyperspace on the outskirts of the Wayland system far enough out so that there would be no reason for sensors to be scanning that area. A dozen missiles leapt from the dreadnaught’s tubes each reaching 75,000 kps before their wedge were cut setting them on ballistic course with Wayland. There would be no way for the enemy to detect the missiles unless they reactivated their impeller wedges, and even if they were detected they would be seen as mere asteroids.
Their course was such that within the day they would enter the atmosphere of Wayland and burn up in it, as any asteroid would.

Of course, poison gas wouldn't have done much to Marius, as the air he normally breathed could be considered toxic in and of itself. As a result, his respritory system was highly resiliant. He had felt the ship touch down and the boarding ramp drop. It was time for him to leave.
He waited for the crew to vacate, and he dropped down just as a platoon of clones ran up the boarding ramp. Marius was overcome by a great rage. He wanted to see these weakling humans burn...
And burn they did. Suddenly, the clones began to scream in agony, and a liquidy substance began to flow out of cracks in their armor. This liquidy substance was their very flesh. It had been melted right off of the bone. Marius cackled with glee as his enemies crumbled to the ground, releasing a horrible stench that he found delightful.
He indeed had grown stronger...

Space rent and tore as Chronos' ship emerged with the Sith Fleet. Though operating at half capacity, with two divisions currently assaulting Korriban; they had come well enough prepared to take what they needed and make a hasty retreat if need be. Fighters surged forth, haloing the ship of Chronos, as he stood on the deck, gazing out across the planet...
"Let it begin" The fleet dove towards the world; letting loose their salvos of bombardment missles and drop pods...The Sith were coming; a furious wave.
"Now, Nightshade...Watch it begin"
"I sense a disturbance in the Force on the moon, Master." Nightshade closed her eyes momentarily. "Two Jedi are there...I recognize the one called Kelvin. The other has called me. I wish to deal with that fool."
She chuckled darkly. Knight Caller, who are you to say what I should do?

Who am I? You know my name Fiona but as for who I am the only answer I can give you is that I am Jedi, a protector of the innocent and the weak. I can not tell you who I am beyond that, I never knew my parents I was born an orphaned bastard in the slums.
Who are you? You are not the Fiona Masaki I knew, your thoughts are dark and your soul is twisted. You grieve for the loss of your mother you embrace the dark side out of a sense of betrayal from your brother and the very order that you’ve been a member of for many years.
The Sith have taught you many dark emotions Fiona but arrogance you knew long before you began your descent. You think that you yourself are the center of the universe, and in your selflessness you’ve lost sight of the realities of the galaxy. There exist many whom suffered much more loss than that of a mother, a mother who died without remorse. You are fighting a battle that she never wanted that she would be ashamed that you are a part of! Do you not see that you are pissing on your mother’s grave by your actions Fiona? Search what little is left of your heart and soul you know my words are the truth embrace them shed off the mind-forged manacles of the dark side, do not fall to their empty promises and sick seduction.

She landed in a burned-out clearing, an area of forest destroyed by the bombardment, and climbed out of the cockpit. Then, she reached out into the Force, letting the death of life on Yavin fuel her, and sensed out for Caller.

No you have come to gain power through death, I see that now...
Caller thoughts were distracted by that for only a moment. They had been foolish to come here, he has completed the dark lords plans just by being on the moon. It never was about relics, no it was more twisted and sick than that. The sith lord wanted to turn Fiona completely to the dark side and would have her do so my killing him. His mind was opened to the sith knight, Caller’s chest heaved as he struggled for breath, and as his most horrible memory’s and fears were remembered a single tear rolled down his cheek.
"You're weak." The once loved sister of Daniel Masaki cackled in triumph. "I see your past. Nothing is hidden from me. You were an orphan brat, forgotten on the streets, abandoned by those who never cared for you. And so as you were born a street rat, you shall die as a street rat."
She cast a powerful illusion, her specialty, into Caller, pulling out a memory of his worst beatings. Caller was once again a small child of merely 5 years, when a gang of older boys had cornered him. The memory was as real as if it happened now, and Caller could remember the terror of the prey before predators. The gang advanced on him, punching, kicking, cursing him...
All the while, a cackling laughter could be heard. The darkness has come full circle, and Fiona was no more. What stood in her place, as she ignited her blood-red lightsaber to finish off the wretched Knight, was an abomination. Mistress Nightshade, Dark Lady of the Sith, has risen at last, to conquer and destroy, to reforge the galaxy into a bastion of darkness, a Sith Empire in the making...

Coruscant...
It has begun. The schism I have feared has come to pass... Alex Masaki, Patriarch of the Masaki Clan, stormed out of the mediation chambers he used, and strode down to find his grandson.
I was in the Archives, researching the ancient Clone Wars. I was trying to find parallels to this new war, and so far, I found some good ones. Once again the Sith are in the background, pulling at the strings like master puppeteers, once again Separatists and Republic found themselves at war. But this time, we are well aware of the machinations of the Sith, if not the Sith themselves. Darth Sirus is at large, as well as Chronos and Darth Revan. But what's most eerie, is that there is Chancellor Vedil, much in the same position as Palpatine himself was. Seemingly, he just sweeps into power before the adoring, unassuming masses, and he just happens to be around when war breaks out. Coincidence? I think not. I don't want to act, though. Not now. Not without proof. But I think that I would recommend the Council keep a close eye on the Senate, just as Master Yoda recommended once before. I smiled ruefully. "Ryujin, I've said it before, and I'll say it again. History is indeed replaying itself. It's as if I'm transported a hundred years into the past, into the days of Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker and Master Yoda himself. Things are unfolding almost like the last time, and I don't like the ramifications."
Ryujin growled softly on my shoulders. "My father the King has said as much as well when I contacted him. Oh, he hasn't participated in the first Clone Wars, not really. But even dragons have spies and he knows that the tail is about to be bitten once again."
"Yeah. I just hope the tail that's bitten doesn't get chewed off completely again." I sighed. That's when I felt Grandfather's powerful presence, and a dark disturbance in the Force right after he entered, like a terrible shadow that followed him.
"Daniel, Ryujin." His face was very serious. "It's about Fiona."
"What? She's not..."
"No, worse." Grandfather winced. "She's fallen to the Dark Side."
"What?!" I cried out, disturbing the quiet of the archives and getting a baleful look from the librarian.
"Your sister is no more, I'm afraid. She's become twisted and evil, a dark agent of the Sith, taking the very same, terrible path I have taken long ago...I wish it were otherwise, my grandson." He said quickly, knowing that I wouldn't believe it. "Search your feelings, Daniel. You know it is true."
"I...I...I need some air. I need time to think. I'll see you later, Gramps." I teleported out, onto the south spire of the Temple, and pulled on my flying goggles. The wind, tossing my rattail like a toy, was just right... "Ryujin, let's go!"
With a small roar, the dragon flew into the air, and in a flash of silver light, grew to his original size of seventy feet. I jumped onto the groove just in front of his wings where I sit when I fly on dragonback, and Ryujin soared into the sky with a young man holding on to the specially-made reins on his back with much to contemplate, much to try and sort out amidst hot, angry tears...tears for a sister that is lost, perhaps forever...

Tears however would do Caller no good.
Caller relived the beating the Sith Knights powers were so dominating that every blow he suffered in his mind he experience in actuality. It was probably this more then anything that help Caller defeat her domination of his mind, pain was a great motivation if used correctly. He had been taken down to his lowest levels, to the point in his life were he cared not whether he lived to see the next day, it was at this point where every individual, every human or alien, Jedi or normal, face the test, whether you will stand your ground and fight and suffer its consequences or run away and hide in safety. The Sith Knight would have noticed the change instantly.
Caller began to control his breathing, his hands at his sides formed into tight fists his arms flexing and shaking as he fought his mental bondage. With a great deal of effort he lifted his head, sweat pouring from his face, he now looked at his enemy the Sith. His words came out through his clenched teeth.
“If these are my last words you shall hear them, by taking this path you’ve betrayed everything you once loved, your mother and father you dishonored their memory’s, forever now they should be known as the unwitting parents of a Sith who let them dominate her body and soul like a bitch.” Caller throughout his life hardly swore and the few times he had it was nothing worst then ‘by the Emperor’s Black Balls’. Pain was an excellent motivator.
Caller now stood as he broke the mental bonds that held him captive, his body crackled with energy, he felt stronger then ever before, he used a technique that he learned from his former master, that which transformed him into an avatar of the force. As a mere Jedi Knight the Jedi could access the force let it flow into their bodies in a controlled manner much like water from a sink’s faucet. An Avatar of the force was a direct manifestation of the power and might of the Light side, it was a Jedi who broke the sink letting its waters flow with uncountable velocity. It would allow the recipient to fight beyond their abilities for a time, though Hawkins told him to only use it if absolutely necessary, the cost of such unregulated power was once body, it was latterly being pushed to the limit, when it was over Caller would either have killed himself with his own method or taken years of his life. These consequences explain his former master’s weathered and aged beyond his years body. It was the price their duty demanded of them.
“We stand upon the bridge, and evil shall not be allowed to pass!” Caller bellowed the motto of the Marine Corps his master once belonged too, his voice resonated against the walls of the dark chamber, his body cast in a bright white aura that dimly lit the room and intensified with proximity to Caller, his purple light saber’s hue accenting the tone’s its hum was alluring as he flourished the blade.
“If you want my life’s blood on your hands then come take it from me Sith”
The term came out with disgust and hate, and even disappointment at Fiona’s fall.

Caller saw the Sith intentions as he read her eyes, he raised his hand an cast a force barrier that should have been able to stop an attack even this strong. However very rarely do things work out as envisioned. The azure blue and white lightning was quite spectacular as it hit his barrier, when it made contact a sickening crack was heard. The beams were stopped at first but then fueled by her ever increased hate of the Jedi the beams amplified and pulsed with power, with renewed strength they shattered Caller’s hasty barrier. He vaguely remembered the attack burn into his chest as he was thrown backward into the marble wall of the chamber. The stones cracked as he impacted them with a sickening force with his right side, a cracking and his scream of pain was all that signified the dislocation of his shoulder.

Ryujin. Pretend he's silver. (http://fizban.darktech.org/Galerie/Dragons/yellow_.jpg)
I flew for long minutes on my faithful dragon's back, searching my feelings as Grandfather has instructed. To my dismay, I felt the truth of the statement in the Force, a moment-vision of her stabbing into a Jedi's back. Then my dismay turned to fury, a fury borne of a need for justice, to end this terrible darkness descending upon the galaxy. I cleared my mind, and realized what I must do. I must find her. Bring her back to the light if at all possible, but...
I forced myself to know what I must do. If she cannot be turned, she will have to be defeated. And there is no one else strong enough to withstand her mental powers, well, except for Kelvin, but I know he wouldn't be enough, as Fiona in the Dark Side is almost as strong as myself. Grandfather is too old. My brothers are too young. It must be me to carry out this terrible deed. It must be me to defeat her, to drive my blade through her heart if necessary. To free her soul from the scourge of the Dark Side, to sear the coldness that now covered her chest.
"Ryujin. Let's return to the hanger. I must ready the X-wing." I said, command etching into my voice.
"As you wish, Emperor Masaki." Ryujin replied to me, the words surprising me. But then, it does have a certain truth to it. Though I still look young, and perhaps would remain so for some time, I was truly my father's son, ready for the responsibility of the Throne. I am the Emperor, in all but name and allies. I have but to gather the required allies and formalize it when the opportunity arises...and it will, soon, for I could sense it, like the buildup of a powerful storm.
----
The Patriarch Alexander Masaki smiled sadly, as he sensed his grandson take hold of his destiny at last, and watched him take off in his fighter. Were that it would take something less terrible to make the boy -no, he's no longer a boy, but a man- to do so. At least, now that now matter what happens, the circle is complete. He will ascend the Throne, I have foreseen this. Now, I have but to watch it unfold. If not in this world, then in the next. My son Andrew, my wife Katherine, I won't be long now...I need but keep the twins alive as long as possible in this war...
Kelvin felt his companion's distress as he and his droids brought a rain of destruction upon the Chronosian troops romping through the burning countryside.
He had taken his learning about Chiss and Godulan tactics to heart in all possible ways, coming at the hordes of enemy soldiers from impossible directions and in impossible manners, every so often deflecting missiles onto their positions.
Why the Chronosians felt the need to keep bombarding the planet after their troops landed was beyond him, but it gave Kelvin extra ammunition against the enemy. He knew that it would stop once it managed to get through that their missiles weren't going where they were supposed to.
But the fighting between Caller and Miss Fiona nagged at him. He'd promised not to interfere until Caller signalled him, and as yet the signal had not gone out.
"I really do hope you know what you are doing, Mister Caller," Kelvin whispered to himself as he prepared to engage another contingent of Chronosian Marines...

"Already, friend, my armies move...Legions assemble in my name; vast war fleets without end, for they have fought wars that would make you weep to see them. They are the armies of the Imperium, the hordes of the Warp, and they shall know no fear...Already, humble delegate of Outer Heaven, exalted brother of Doom...My armies move to strike. On the outskirts of the Coreworldian systems, Chronosian vessels had already begun to gather; divided into elite battlegroups each with a certain aim and goal....They would strike before Coreworlds knew what was happening, like a thunderbolt....they would shatter and sunder all defences. Meanwhile; the Chronosians dodged amongst rubble and craters, as the barrage finally ground to a halt, the way clear and open; foliage burnt to cinders, as they began to trudge through the bitter ashes, towards the temples that were their goals. The Master had told them of their goals, of their duty, and now they acted upon it; sheltering as more mortar from the bombardment was deflected towards them, repelling many with the powers of the dark side, gifted to them by their Primarch. Everything from mere fledglings in their power, to those who could be considered Lords in Training, had gathered to fight for their Primarch, and indeed, at his side...

Maniacle laughter came from the ship as Marius tested his new powers.
"Puny humans! You know not of whom you trifle with. As for you, Sith, don't you have better things to do? Muahahahaha." came his harsh, warped voice from within the bowels of the transport. "Do not worry, weak ones. I no longer burn as easily as one would think."

The explosion first covered the ship but suddenly flashed forward, consuming the formation of clones. Out of the wreckage of the transport stepped out Marius, seemingly unscathed, wearing the armor he had under his power armor. The flames of the explosion had literaly bent around him. He walked out slowly, laughing as he did so.
OOC:Sithy, we gotta talk on MSN.
Kelvin counted at least two Temples collapsed under the bombardment, primarily due to his deflections.
His scout droids, stealthed and speed boosted as they were, seemed to be having the time of their digital lives, rampaging through the forests, either shooting at the Chronosian troops or zipping in close with a few well timed bursts from Chronosian Bolters plundered from unlucky victims, hurling grenades whenever they found the need and supply, or even clubbing the occasional enemy over the head with a large rock.
Kelvin himself was more focused on rooting out the force sensitive lackeys the Chronosians had brought along for the ride. He sensed many of decent strength, but none of them matched him. Using his stealth wards, he would get in close and strike with lightning precision.
The key to it all, even more so than the stealth fields, was in keeping things unpredictable. "Tactical Spontaneity" the Godulans called it. Never think about an engagement in the long run. Nobody ever does things the way you would like them to, so why bother making up a plan relying on them to do exactly that?
So it was that he took each fight as opportunity presented itself, coming out of hiding only long enough to end another Chaos Sith, and vanishing back into the smoldering underbrush as though he was never there.
He took no joy in his killing, he knew exactly where each soldier would go when he died, and Kelvin pitied the troops for it. They knew nothing beyond their thralldom, they even thought it a blessing, and that saddened him.
But it didn't stop him.

Kelvin was truly killing less than he thought; overconfidence, was his resounding flaw. Where a single soldier fell, countless were ready to attack and destroy the droids; to cleanse and purge with bolter, flamer, and ever present Lightsaber. Kelvin had underestimated what Chronos possessed; an army of augmented Sith warriors, a legion loyal to him alone. For ever lone force user that Kelvin took down, the others felt their Soul bindings shimmer and glisten, enhanced by the death of their blood brothers. The warriors moved onwards, a river of moving, seething energy and flesh; heading for their Primarch; bringing death and fury to this world; and the fool who dared to oppose them....
Kelvin's time, was running out.
But yet, Kelvin was not overconfident. Not even the marines could keep track of the surprising speed the Droids themselves displayed, thanks to their arcane wards. By the time any coordinated defense could be mounted against a single droid's assault, the droid had already appeared elsewhere, possibly even banding together with one of its brothers to commence a coordinated assault on positions left behind while the Chronosians, Sith and Marine alike, went out in futile efforts to detect their presence.
Traps were set, pitfalls seemingly materialized from nothing, and even the flames moved with a strange purpose. The entirety of the burning forest had seemingly turned against the Chronosians.
As for Kelvin, he simply continued on with grim purpose, picking the enemy off one by one, even in the middle of veritable crowds, using the stealth field powers he had learned from Fiona to full effect and beyond.
Let them revel in their superiority, Kelvin thought to himself as he watched the life essence fade from another marine for a fleeting moment, dispersing itself into what he suspected was the other troopers, before he rocketed into the smoldering underbrush to continue his assault. They know not what will happen when the Carnivore reaches them...

A droid exploded into nothingness, shattered by pure arcane force as the energy dissipated about its charred remenants, and the Master of the onslaught stepped forward, the flames roaring towards him only to find themselves tamed to their true masters hand. "Oh but they do. They are as the teeming millions, fish, algae, caught in the jaws of the predator, but they know that millions more exist. The sperm that seeks the egg, cares not for the teeming thousands of his brothers, so long as his goal is achieved...In this case, my men, are loyal to myself alone." Chronos stepped forward. "You are a fool, boy, to come here...The girl is as good as ours, and the location of that ancient and eldritch place shall fall to me...It would appear you have underestimated the Sith."
The soldiers felt the presence of their master, felt his sight touch them, saw their enemy with eyes of zealous fury, and set upon the mechanized gnats, even as Chronos stalked ever closer to Kelvin.
"Tell me, boy...Do you fear the Horrors of the Warp?"
"Kill him..." A voice hissed.
"yes, kill him quickly...."
"No, kill him slowly..."
"Yes, slowly, like no other being has known before; let him feel pain, eternal."
The spectres of Chronos' failed experimental brethern crackled about him, hissing twisted Sith spirits, reeking of the Dark Side and the Warp.
"Kill him, brother....Kill them all."
Daniel was busy, Kelvin had vanished to who-knows-where, and Gorteth had never been very interested in politics. Besides, he wanted to get his ship back.
He had a hypernet link to Stardust; it had cost a lot, but was well worth the price. It allowed him to communicate instantly with the vessel's computer from any distance, and even to pilot it by remote control. It also provided coordinantes for the portal generater. Another expensive modification gave the craft to scan an area, placing a portal with far greater accuracy than would otherwise be possible.
Now, he used these devices to create a small portal and return to his ship. As Stardust lifted away from the surface of Naboo, Gorteth wondered where to head next. He did not know how close excitement was...

The ships roared from warpspace above Naboo, screaming their arrival as their weapons cried their bloodlust. Countless fighters graced the skies, their weapons roaring in a twisted orbital ballet of missle and cannon fire, lazers roaring and screech as they ducked and dived, headed for any ship; as the Larger ships took their attentions planetward. The hatches readied, containing missles, and drop-pods crowded with dripping pestilent beings....
Aboard the flagship stood Lord Lucius, Servant of Nurgle; Gifted as Primarch of the Envenomed Fang.
"Records indicate that the blockade of Naboo was ended by an alliance of its colonists and the indigenous races...Let us ensure that it never occurs again. Launch viral salvos into major oceans, and surface population centres...Then, begin the invasion" He chuckled. "Let Papa Nurgle gift them and bless them with righteous pestilence! Let the decay commence!"
With his words; the missle silos let forth their deadly cargo; countless missles of viral contagions hurtled earthwards, followed by the terrible drop pods, marking the arrival, of Death itself to Naboo

"Don't you dare call me a slave, you fool." Nightshade growled, as she deflected the blows with flicks of her wrist. She stabbed and thrust into him, trying to find an opening to slay this fool. "It is you who are mistaken, about a great many things. But too bad I cannot show you what I mean. One of us will leave this place alive, and it won't be you!"
She suddenly disappeared and reappeared behind Caller, stabbing her blade forward...
Caller sensed her action but his drained and weakened body was too slow to respond, he fought bravely and violently but in the end it wasn’t enough. He felt the blade enter through his back on his upper right chest destroying his lung as it ripped out of his front. A gasp escaped his mouth as the sith withdrew her blade Caller felt his life energy leave him, as he fell to his knees for a final time. His light saber fell to the floor, he could no longer even hold his head up he was her cruel mercy.
Daniel, I do not have m-much t-time left. Fiona no longer exists my blood taints her soul…by the f-force I tried to save her…I m so sorry my friend. his mental voice was strained and full of hurt and pain.
He had one last request of his killer,
“Tell me Fiona who was it who turned you, not the puppet Chronos, who is your true master?”
Chronos' entry into the fray was expected. He intended to keep the Sith lord occupied until the time came for him to respond to Caller's signal. The loss of one droid bothered him not one bit, for the arcane energy powering its stealth and speed immediately flooded into the other two droids, making them even more powerful.
"You are a fool, boy, to come here...The girl is as good as ours, and the location of that ancient and eldritch place shall fall to me...It would appear you have underestimated the Sith."
"Tell me, boy...Do you fear the Horrors of the Warp?"
No, I do not. I pity you. You are mere minnows compared to that which makes me shiver. Beware my brother the Carnivore, the Avatar, for he has powers that even your gods cannot comprehend. I fear him. Not you. He hates the universe, and he has a grudge against the Chaos Gods that not even I fully understand.
He listened to Chronos' consorts, and smiled wryly as he sliced through another Chronosian marine and vanished into nothingness.
I have not underestimated the Sith. I know exactly what their powers are. I can SEE them. I can see how they conjure their powers as they are used. I can counter them. The force is but ripples and energy to me. It is pure to me! I do not underestimate you. I know exactly what you are capable of. You can teach me much that I can use against you, just like Sirus did. We were quite well matched in that fight, and I have only grown since then.
I believe you will find that I am somewhat harder to eliminate than a typical child. Oh it shall be glorious indeed for you, meeting the son of the Final Arbiter on the field of battle. But that is for another day. A day when we can test our mettle and not that of our pawns'.
No sooner do I lift off than an invasion force appears. Figures.
Gorteth layered a kinetic reversal shield over a simple barrier shield, then activated the combat control panel. He did not open fire, though. He had no wish to take on a fleet alone. Stardust would look harmless until he activated the weapons systems; perhaps the attackers would let him depart in peace...
A fighter shot towards him, guns blazing.
Time to unsheath Stardust's claws...
As shots bounced off the reversal shield, turrets shimmered into place on Stardust's surface. Gorteth interfaced directly with the ship's computer, his mind becoming almost a part of his ship; the standard controls were too slow, in his opinion, for battle. Gorteth tracked the attacking fighter for a few nanoseconds, then unleashed flaming doom at a precisely calculated angle.

You should be scared. My brother is merely possessed by an Avatar of the entity he serves, yet even now your fleets over Naboo should notice the devastation he wrought upon the planet even when he was more focused on casually annihilating your lackeys. Even now he moves against you, and trust me when I say that there will be no return to the warp for those who die by his hands. For those poor souls, it is only dissolution.
I know that I will die. Someday. Maybe today. Maybe tomorrow. Maybe hundreds of years from now. I also know that when I go, it will be of MY choosing. I know where I am going. I bear a mark that not even you nor your gods could break. When I go, I go to the Final Arbiter.
Several more fighters shot towards Stardust; Gorteth uponed fire with one heavy turret on each, destroying them in moments. So far, the reversal shield was holding... but he knew he couldn't last long in the middle of the swarm.
I wonder how smart they are...
He didn't have time to calculate a long jump, but it was easy to get beyond the main body of the attacking fleet. He formed a portal, obliterated another group of fighters, and shot through it. On the other side, he spun Stardust to face the opening, waiting to see if they would pursue him through it.

The explosion rocked forth seemingly bending itself around the Sith Lord. Sirus looked up as flames engulfed the area around him, waving a hand as though the fire was inconsequential Sirus directed the advancing flames harmlessly into the atmosphere.
Behind the Dark Lord a wall of clone troopers gave way, breaking like a human sea they revealed a host of super battle droids, each one capable of surviving the process of combustion that this thing was creating. Nodding his head Siurs laughed, the atmosphere around the Dooman would quickly thin. Oxygen departing, and the warriors internal organs constricting.
An invisible force would instantly assert itself, the warriors Carotis artery would constrict increasing blood pressure inside his skull, his heart would begin to slow as the Cava Vein tightened like a noose, while always the Dark Lord maintained eye contact, looking at his foe with pity and site.

Though the warp and hyperspace are different, there are always the telltale signs of faster-than-light travel and that is what the waystations and sensor nets managed to pick up. They couldn't pick up the size of the enemy force or the exact direction they were heading, but it was clear that an invasion by Chronosia was in the making.
Grand Admiral Rommel had ordered the recall of all ships bearing the Coreworlds flag, including the Sovereign II battlefleet, which had to break off it's pursuit of Outer Heaven's largest ship. It's ETA to Tenetia would actually be too late to stop the beginnings of the fighting, but it would surely bolster the crew of the defending fleet of the Imperium around the capital planet.
Konoha and Issus were already on high alert, the shinobi and Dragonriders watching the skies carefully for the enemy. Shinobi-class cruisers and Dracon-class destroyers awaited the incoming foes. Hokage Tsunade-sama has given orders for a couple of squadrons of Chuunin-class destroyers to patrol the outlying colonies and sniff out enemy forces, while the King of Dragons sent similar orders to his Flamer-class frigates.
Konoha's shinobi uses railcannons to great effect, especially with the Hokage battleships' main MAC cannon that can toss asteriods and smash them into the bridge of an unsuspecting ship. Issus dracon ships, however, uses plasma cannons as per the dragon's philosophy for burning their prey out of the sky, as well as advanced magic that uses the energy of the Hadoken energy beam as an alternative to the usual turbolasers.
They are ready to fight, to die if necessary, to protect the millions of innocents on the planets.
-----
In the meantime, I sped through hyperspace in my fighter, my only companion the dragon Ryujin. I was speeding to Issus first because I have a feeling that I'm going to definitely need my personal Dragonriders Squadron, the 1st. After that, I'll speed to Konoha to pick up Naruto-sensei and his two team members Sasuke-sensei and Sakura-sensei, as well as a few Jedi. As my twin brothers have gone elsewhere to train or fight off enemy armies, I'll have to rely on my other friends.
2 hours later...
The Dragonfire battlecruiser task force (3 Dragon-class battlecruisers, 2 regular Star Destroyers plus escorts) has been chosen as the squadron I'll use to hunt down and defeat my sister.
The First of the Dragonriders of Issus now assembled before me and Ryujin.
There's my wingman and second-in-command Kohaku with his gold dragon Riamus. Sheridan rides Devonis, a brown dragon and his wingman is Henry, who rides a red named Remiel. Sarah is the oldest woman and rides a green named Karaya. Her wingwoman is Katrina, rides an gold dragon named Haylee. Cory rides a red dragon named Tigris and partners with Tim, who's blue dragon is Jergio. Madison rides Windia, a bronze dragon, and her wingwoman is Kikyo who rides a white dragon named Valiare. And last but not least are Jessica, who's green dragon is Tynea and Skye, who rides a blue dragon named Mirana.
Indeed, we're a powerful force together, with many potent spells between us aside from the breaths of fire, lightning, toxin and cold. All dragons can spew fire, but their color sometimes tells us what else they can use as a secondary weapon. Greens tend to use poison. Blues and Bronze are lightning users. White is snow. My dragon and the golds can vary their breath spells to match what we need, so we're the most powerful in the squadron.
As we travelled through hyperspace, Katrina and I have kind of fallen for each other. At first I was kind of shy around her, wondering what I should say to her. But gradually, throughout the trip to Konoha, I warmed to her, and as we reverted to realspace another couple of hours later, I suddenly felt a disturbance in the Force as Naboo died to the virus bombing far away.
"Oh no...something's happened. Something terrible." I groaned.
"What, Daniel? What's wrong?" She asked.
"It's like a million voices cried out in pain, lingering pain, then died." I winced. "Something's happening again. Something horrible."
Katrina gasped. "No, not the..."
"No, it feels slower." I sighed. "Let me get Naruto and the others."
When I tuned to the news as I awaited the Hokage battlefleet for deployment, I could hear warnings of invasion by Chronosia from the President and the Admiral, and then I realized Chronosia was involved with the bombing of Naboo.
"Damn, they just killed millions." I cursed. "I'll be right back Katrina."
I teleported to the bridge. "Captain Konral, what do you have so far on Chronosia's movements?"
"So far, sketchy reports say that Naboo has already been hit. We're hearing reports of some kind of rapid biowarfare used by the Chronosians." The Red-dragon Captain said. "Our researchers of Chronosia say that their god of pestilence Nurgle's minions may be attacking with the diseases."
"Hmm. So there are how many of these gods of Chaos?" I'm trying to recall here on the eve of battle.
"Four. There is Khorne, god of war and bloodshed. Slaneesh, god or goddess of perverse pleasures, we can't tell. Tzeetch, god of magic and manipulation, and of course Nurgle, which you've just witnessed."
"I see, so their armies are divded in how they do their strategies." I said. "This could be interesting."
Then a crackle of comms occur. "Hey, Daniel! Are you ready?"
"Sure, Naruto!" I smirked. Then I felt a voice, and immediately tried to trace it with a holomap. Yavin. The voice was Caller, weakened by a battle. A battle with...my sister.
Daniel, I do not have m-much t-time left. Fiona no longer exists my blood taints her soul…by the f-force I tried to save her…I m so sorry my friend. his mental voice was strained and full of hurt and pain.
"Oh no. Have a force go to Naboo and deal with the Nurgle minions." Blood drained from my face. My sister is truly a part of the Dark Side now. "Form up, set course for the Yavin system. All ahead flank!"
The fleet of ten or so ships sped into hyperspace for the Yavin system...

The Nurgle fleet turned from Naboo and surged once more through the Warp; diving the spectral pathways as they sought to join the major assault force headed for Tenetia...
A medium-sized fleet of ten Star Destroyers and five missile cruisers reverted to realspace at Naboo. It is a fleet mostly designed to test the enemy forces to see how much we should expect of them.
The captain in command swore as he was just moments too late from exacting revenge of the poor souls of Naboo. Then he heard distress calls from Devon and Teyr and ordered the fleet to make haste for that system
Meanwhile, above Devon and Teyr, battlegroups tore free of the confines of the Immaterium, and brought their ferocious weapons to bear on all around them. The roaring, blood drenched disciples of Slaanesh and Khorne screamed in ecstacy or grunted in bloodlust; but their rage was felt by all present. For now; the scourging of the Outer Worlds of Coreworlds, had begun...
Devon and Teyr are two systems relatively close to each other, less than 2 lightyears from each other. The defending forces were as usual for colonies like these, outnumbered, but they made it up for it in tenacity and an unwillingness to yield even a mile to the forces of Chaos. The asteroid belts were lined with many traps. Heavy fighters and gunships boiled seemingly out of nowhere from hidden fortresses to harass the enemy. Mines of all types, from proximity to impact to the dreaded gravitic mines each claimed to have destroyed ships, but of course, the picture was confusing.
Scared civilians evacuated space stations and the planet themselves. The braver ones looted stores and other areas for weapons to use on the invaders, while up in space, Star Destroyers and Cruisers fought it out with the dark forces of Chaos.
That's when Konoha cruisers and Draconian battlecruisers as well as the Star Destroyer reinforcements from Naboo entered the fray, sending Chaos back to the hell they came from with plasma cannons and railcannons, white-blue Hadoken energy beams and Hokage battleships' MAC weapons. They will not lose these two planets like they lost Naboo!

A dying cough, coking and gurgling in sound came from Caller’s dying body. She had fallen for it, it would be his last action and he sacrificed every thing for it his life included. Them moment she sneered and send her cruel words her unconscious mind gave him the answer he sought. It was common trick to employ; ask a question you knew would never be answered willingly, ones mind immediately concentration on the answer to the question no matter what the conscience mind stated.
Caller used the last of his strength to probe into her mind it was a quick violent burst as he gleaned the information he needed. His blood ran cold as he finally knew the truth everyone sought, Caller was deathly afraid for the future, he almost didn’t want to admit it was possible.
His body was growing cold now, it was almost over, he had the energy only for one final act, it would take only a second to prepare the last of his bodies’ energy to prepare for perhaps the galaxy could still be saved…
Nightshade was surprised at this final act of defiance, at how he managed to penetrate her own defenses, even for a second. Cursing herself for her lack of foresight, she clamped down on the mind probe like a boot. But it was too late. Caller has gleaned what he wanted. Now, Fiona just waited over him, watched like a vulture for the last amount of life force to leave his body. She had to admit, he wasn't a bad duelist, and he was defiant to the end as well. Perhaps even Sith should respect the greater warriors that make up the Jedi Order from time to time, even as they seek to destroy them. But the greatest of all Jedi warriors is approaching. He is approaching. The one who could concieveably prove to be her downfall, and the downfall of the Sith.

Ships died. Men and youths died. Civilians died. War was never glorious, it was bloodshed, pure and simple bloodlust. And that point is made painfully clear, even as the soldiers of the mighty Navy fought with all their strength, and even beyond to push back the tide of Chaos.
When a Chaos ship smashed into a Konoha battleship, shinobi and regular infantry prepared to be boarded, and to board themselves.
"Go! Go! Go!" A sergeant or Chuunin would shout, as they used grenades and torches as well as ninjutsu spells to cut and board the enemy ship. The shinobi were swift and deadly, slashing with lightsabers and throwing shuriken and kunai at vulnerable spots, shooting with blasters of all types, utilizing deadly chakra spells to destroy the foul Chaos or be destroyed themselves. The infantry followed up with scarlet bolts of coherent light and at times, deadly grenades.
We now follow one shinobi team. A team consisting of Byuan, Jake, and Sylvia. Byuan is a newly made Jounin, or general officer of shinobi. His two comrades are chuunin, mid-level commanders. They were the 6th team to charge into the enemy ship...

By the Emperor's Will, they had lived; and now the enemy moved through the ship, as they moved into the enemies....There was no end to it; the glory of war, the march of Chaos; the endless push forward. Commotion rose from the blackness ahead and they saw Berzerkers, silhouetted in bolter fire and enemy fire; as the bloodcrazed warriors sated the thirst of their Chainaxes on the enemy.
Bloodguard Lord Kael Drakenguard turned to face the young Guardsman and grinned with needle sharp teeth, beckoning them forward; as his warbrethern surged forward.

"Sheesh, don't they ever cease their stupid cries?" Jake commented as he delivered a fatal blow into one of the Bloodletters, then followed up with a combination attack of fists and saber.
"I guess not." Sylvia shrugged, as she threw a shuriken at a nameless guardsman. His throat was suddenly spilling blood, and he fell, gagging for air. Then she pumped laser into the head of a demon, and seared flesh could be smelt.
"Tch, not something I'd want to hear anyway." Byaun said, snapping a guardsman's neck.

Marius chuckled as the Sith attempted to gain hold of his lungs. As Sirus tried to do that, Marius broke the Sith's hold on his body. The lack of oxegen did little, as well, as he didn't breath much oxegen in the first place. If anything, he was more comfortable.
"Surrender is for weaklings, Sith. You know that." he said with a smile. Suddenly, he looked past him towards the droids, and the very metal of which they were constructed began to bubble and fizzle. This also happened with the clones. With a few seconds, the droids had fallen over and melted and the clones had been encased in molten metal.

Vedil…he is back.. the thought died quickly as Caller himself did, he voice no more then a whisper in the force, directed to his former master. His death would have rippled through the force in the Yavin system, given Fiona a sense of increased power as she had defeated a strong opponent the Sith rejoiced in such victories. His death was also the signal he always intended to send Kelvin, he knew that the boy probably wouldn’t understand, for he could have averted his death. Yet Fiona would have never let the information slip if she faced Kelvin, no this was the only way it could have been, he accepted his fate knowing he’d be one with the force now.
There is no death only the force, those words comforted him as he left this plane of existence.

As the countdown began Sirus looked up into the atmosphere, uniform shapes fled past above him, each one emitted an appeal to the force.
Very nice trick Jedi, but I know you’re there.
Hawkins' module burned through the upper atmosphere of the planet the battle steel capsule in which he rode broke apart in re-entry shedding from Hawkins body. Hawkins wore Marine power armor, the suit's servos whinnied and its thrusters kicked in to alter his angle of descent ever so slightly, his landing zone was display upon his suits sensor display. He quickly reached terminal velocity and enjoyed the sensation of freefall as he made his way to the surface it was one of the few joys he had left.
At 100 feet his suit's counter-gravity activated, defying the laws of physics his body came to relative rest only moving 40 kph on impact, a velocity the suits exo-skeletal limbs were able to absorb.
He could feel that this whole mission was a trap, he could feel that Sirius wanted him to come, he could also feel the shield generator activate once they made planet fall confirming his feelings were right. Which was why Hawkins took a squad of his new troops with him they were all trained in the way of the force now due to their conversion and they all were very heavily armed and armored, there mission was to take the shield generator down...Then Hawkins heard Caller's last words.
Vedil…he is back...
Hawkins called after he asking if the Chancellor was in danger, asking who was back, something inside him screamed that there was something more to this cryptic message. Screaming that it was a warning of the utmost importance that Caller had died to deliver to him. He would discover what the words meant, he began to play them over and over in his head Vedil…he is back...
And whoever killed his only student, the man Hawkins considered his son,
well they would pay with the price of their life.

OOC: I Can’t wait for a response any longer Doomingsland, I need to get this rp moving quickly.
Wayland, a great fortress forged from steel and sweat, created for times of darkness and evil, as a last bastion of hope.
For over fifty years the great fortress had been used for the black order in its infancy, but now Wayland was supposedly abandoned, left for the elements to consume. But like most things in the Galaxy, this was another illusion.
Darth Sirus, the only known remainder of the Dark Empire was now in command of the installation, he was in control of it all, the legions, ground forces and the precious cloning facilities that lay within. Leaving the landing pad as wreckage fell from the atmosphere Sirus pointed to the falling missiles. “Commander, see that, that is a Jedi trick, these meteors are in fact Jedi. They will be here within a few hours, only allow one to enter Wayland and halt the rest. Make sure you bring out several force inhibitors and have them shielded.”
“But sir, they will come to us?”
“No, they are coming for me. Once they arrive direct Knight Hawkins to the throne room.”
Walking slowly from the landing pad, Sirus passed under the shadow of Wayland, and into the forceless zone that the cloners so necessarily required.
Confident in the installations security the Jedi would find the old entrance routes used by Luke Skywalker and Han Sole closed and sealed from tampering, covered in thousands of tonnes of rubble, immoveable for a Jedi inside what would appear to be a Yasimallri field.
He would be here shortly Sirus confided to himself, and finally this duel would end, one way or another. Looking to his side Sirus spied one of the oldest cloning tanks, which, most people would consider a crime upon nature. The acceleration of a bodies growing rate to such a speed that a child could mature within eleven hours, would always be viewed as unnatural, but what lay within these vats was not natural, nor Sith, they were an abomination to the force, something that the cloners should never have created, but like all of their work, they did not care for the consequences.
Entering the lift, Darth Sirus ascended to the throne room, awaiting his guest.

Hawkins looked upon his troops, a squad of Confed Marines outfitted in the service’s best power armor, they were the equal of any super droid or Jedi knight, and working together as a team they were superior. On the ground a 3D-display showed the tactical layout and geography of Wayland, Hawkins marked several important locations on its surface.
“Ok, Alpha Team you will establish our patrol base at this island here in the middle of this bog, prepare to defend that location. Bravo you will proceed with me to the object and set up an LPOP on this rise, Ill enter the base alone I feel that they will let me enter, when I exit the base we will fall back to the patrol base along this line of travel. I want these points, here and here mined as well as the entrance to the base camp. I have a feeling that a world of hurt will follow us out of the base we need to hold them off long enough to get off the planet, Understood?” he asked of his troops and his men grunted their agreement. They knew their mission and it would be accomplished, marines never failed their general.
A Few Hours Later

So Sirus wasn’t stupid Hawkins laughed to himself as he slowly took off his armor. Un-powered the armor all together weighed about half a ton, a mass which he shed effortlessly, Hawkins was not of this galaxy, in his homeland his body was genetically altered, he was bred to be a warrior already, called an Elemental, known for their impressive bulk, strength, and dexterity.
All of his height and imposing mass was highlighted by his formfitting marine skin suit, it was essentially 31 century Kevlar, comprised of thousands of vacuoles all told no more then two millimeters thick. Its interior was lined with sensors that displayed their data right to his mind, it gave marines the ability to find their enemies and to kill them.
Hawkins approached the droids only his light saber in his right hand, it was a new build its shaft slightly longer then his old model, he thought Sirus would enjoy it.

As Hawkins dis-armoured, a group of twenty clone troopers assumed position around him, several carrying the Geonosian pulse weapons would prove to be a match for the lone warrior. Marching through the complex they passed cloning vats, thousands of them, each one growing a new warrior in secret. Most disturbing of all would be the armour of the clones, not traditional clone trooper armour but more refined, squared Storm trooper armour, bearing the mark of the Empire.
The former Jedi was bourn through the complex, quick marched to a large lift, round and circular, with a floor of black marble, and walls of what appeared to be gold. On the roof the circular symbol of the Empire remained, strong and intact.
Retreating the guards left Hawkins to rise into the throne room, at the top, there lay a great hall, completely open and covered in the same black marble as the lift, in the centre stood Darth Sirus, covered in the red robes of the Imperial guard, his long scythe like blade stretched far above him, gently resting upon his shoulder.

The Guardsmen fought on, as all around there was the sound of war; of the heavy boots of Marines; of explosions and screams; both sides suffered under the onslaught of the War. All would know the wrath of the other; but some, some would be gifted, some would survive. The Bloodguard knew that emergency protocal was under way, that even now; Chronosians foguht towards the reactors of either ship....For soon they would annoint the void with flame. It was only a matter of when Khorne willed for final victory; and how it came.
"FORWARD!" He roared, his anger fuelling those about him, as the Berzerkers moved again, a wave of death, covered by the weapons of the Guardsmen.
The Jounin Byaun and his remaining friend Sylvia called on every bit of their chakra to speedblitz the enemy and use Kawarmi to switch themselves with anything in the vicinity, even the cannon fodder enemies themselves to avoid damage. Even so, they bled from close shaves from the enemy weaponry, and they knew they would die soon. But not until they defeat this Bloodguard foe at the least.
Like their Jedi allies, they cut down many an enemy with lightsaber and throwing weapons and sent fireballs or blaster bolts as ranged attacks. Guardsmen would find their necks stabbed with deadly shuriken or kunai, although those weapons are running low.
Finally, they were in the vicinity of the Bloodguard himself, and stalked forward, beckoning a duel with him.
--------------------------------------------------
All about the entangled ships, there was war and death; as weapons hurtled from vessel to vessel; fighters dodging through the firey climax of the fray; ducking through weapons fire as through sailing through the fires of hell itself.
Mighty cannons rained firey discord upon the worlds below; as the Emperor's will was done....And the Heavens themselves, seemed to weep against such reckless and tyrannous hate.
The planets themselves suffered from blows upon the surfaces. Multimegaton explosions could be seen from space as the Chaos forces rained death and destruction from above. Thousands died from searing heatstorms and thousands more would die over the weeks to come. The defending fleet still fought on, still struggled against the Dark Side. Orbitial cannons spat deadly heavy turbolasers at the enemy, with power enough to snap a small frigate in half. The enemy should be glad there aren't any Golan V systems around, defenses that could fight a Super Star Destroyer to a standstill. But there are smaller Golan I and II satellites, still able to slug it out with Star Destroyers. Even so, the overwhelming forces were not driven away as millions hoped. The forces of Chaos...are relentless.

The Forces of Chaos fought on, even as the enemy shattered ship after ship; the largest ones turned their attention to the planets; diving through atmsopheres; weapons armed and cores set to critical, they plunged like colossal daggers, set to sunder worlds and shatter continents. The smallet ships fought on, knowing that as long as they kept the enemy here; they bought valuable time for the primary target; and the vast war of attrition that was to come...
-------------------------------
Above Yavin; the Sith fleet turned to engage the Coreworlders, sending forht mighty weapons blasts even as they rocked with impact; knowing that notihng must disturb the Lord Chronos.
He himself, upon the surface; deep in the temples, saturated with the essence of the Dark Side; smiled lightly, as he felt the enemy approach.
"Ah, Masaki, come to admire my handiwork are you. Of Soloran's bane, and Nightshade borne...." He chuckled. "The end draws near, young one...Caller is dead. And the secrets here shall soon be mine; soon all will be mine, truly, and my Master will be pleased"
-----------------------------------------
Kael rose and surged forward; bearing two ornately decorated chainaxers; his armor glemaing red and gold, annointed with the blood of his foes. "Come, none of your tricks; will you face me in a true duel? Or will you hide behind cowardly magicks; bastard sons of Tzeentch!?"
The Nurgle fleet turned from Naboo and surged once more through the Warp; diving the spectral pathways as they sought to join the major assault force headed for Tenetia...
And now they're leaving...
A series of short portals ripped through space as Stardust trailed behind the fleet. Gorteth begain setting his weapons and sensory systems for long-range combat, hoping to a reasonable amount of damage from several light minutes away from the battle.

The planetary shields of the main cities on Devon and Teyr shuddered as the ships plunged into them. The shields of Devon were destroyed first, and cities vanished under fiery mushroom clouds:

Coastal cities were destroyed by great tsunamis when ships of Chaos smashed into the oceans:

Terrible destruction, worthy of the Dark Side, ravaged the planets. The Core fleets still fought, still threw balls and railbullet, lasers and missiles. The retreat is sounded as the forces of Chaos overwhelmed Devon, consuming it in a terrible darkness. Teyr, the Gateway to Coreworlds, is also about to be battered down, but the fleet fought on, fought until they could fight no longer and ships rammed the enemy themselves. But the Gate itself is about to be brought down...

"Not if I can help it!" I sent back confidently, as the Dragonfire shot it's main Hadoken cannons at the enemies. So, Fiona chose a new name for herself as well. Interesting. Nightshade is a deadly plant, it's poison will kill a man in an hour. Fits for dear sister. "My fleet batters yours, and the Light will overwhelm Chaos, blind your evil and vanquish it. This I promise unto my last breath."
"My Lord, we near the time." The draconan captain said.
""Very well. Sound the charge." I grinned. "Let's kick some demon ass!"
The Dragonfire and her escorts stormed forward like a great dragon, breathing plasma fireballs upon its foes. The Hokage followed with shinobi swiftness, occasionally tossing an asteroid filled with explosives at a battleship at .90c.
Soon, we would deploy and the Jedi and Sith will fight once more...

"I'm actually a woman, Mr. Arrogant." Sylvia said wryly, as she slashed forward with inhuman speed. Byaun followed up with a deadly kata (combination attack) to help his friend.

Kelvin brought up a force shield to redirect the winds Fiona hurled at him, and watched as the winds rustled up the dust and debris in the cavernous temple chamber...
Learning.
As the wind faded, his smile widened slightly, and he brought one hand up. With a twitch of his eye, a small globe of roaring wind appeared in his palm, then vanished just as quickly.
"I think not, Miss Fiona."
"Strong child, I admit." Fiona glowered. "Don't say I didn't warn you."
She disappeared, and a red blade reappeared to try and sever his neck.
But Kelvin had vanished as well still without a sound... and also directly beside Fiona on the side opposite the direction of her swing.
Without a thought, he jammed two fingers into her ribs, then poofed a few feet away.
This entire sequence took less than the first half of a blink of an eye.
His hand came up, showing the two fingers with which he had poked her, and he brought a small lightsword into existence with the force of his will.
"If I had been using this, you would be dead now, Miss Fiona, but killing you is not my wish."
He waved his lightsword away, and grinned at her again.

"Quick little one." Nightshade sneered. With a thought, she sent a blast of deadly Force Lightning at him. This close, it's almost sure to hit him.
Kelvin took the lightning, flying back a few feet but swiftly reasserting himself in the force of the electric onslaught. As soon as he regained his footing, he brought his hands up and what could only be described as a feedback surge jumped back along Fiona's lightning burst and slamming back into her.
"If I can make it, I can break it, Miss Fiona. But I prefer more creative retaliatory measures."
With that statement, he brought his arms up into a boxing position, and made a couple quick jabs with one hand that honestly sounded as though each one made a tiny sonic boom.
"Now, Miss Fiona, Shall we dance?"
Not waiting for her to respond, he surged forward, impossibly fast, drawing a fist back for a swift punch...

Unexpectedly the force balls flew back, the speed too great, the energy too vast to halt by merely his will, the explosion tore around Sirus shattering his concentration for a moment, but thankfully his garbs kept him intact. As Sirus flew through the air he flung his staff up into the marble roof slowing his momentum. Pulling his blade down, Sirus lowered it like a spear. Mastering the force he attempted to use Hawkins velocity against him by pulling him towards the serrated point.
As the Jedi grew closer the force pike began to vibrate, its hum more mechanical and more methodical than a lightsabre.

Chancellor Vedil stood in the central platform of the senate, who was now, essentially a military dictator, these proceedings could be only a formality, but the chancellor pledged to maintain democracy and so far every vote carried out by the senate was honoured.
The senate showing was being broadcasted throughout the holonetworks, taking over every other show in the Republic, but the time was set so it would be aired at Tenetian Prime time holo viewing. The war was now heating up.
“These are dark times for the Republic.” Vedil boomed. “Our noble cousins Coreworlds are suffering greatly at the hands of the enemy, we are failing, and as a result we may lose this war! But we can do something about it. Our forces are superior, our technology better, how can we be losing? It is not our brave soldiers, it is not our ships, it is the Coredian generals, their arrogance and foolishness, that are costing us the war, that are costing us lives we have sworn to protect.
I would not be honouring my duty if I did not defend those on Tenetia and other Coredian “protected” worlds, I have stood silent for too long, while military blunder after blunder is made.
The Coredians have put a Jedi in charge of their war effort, a Jedi of only twenty years of age, a child with no military training! A child with no knowledge of our tactical capabilities. He is a member of the Coredian aristocracy! I thought we defeated the Empire? But here we are, allowing the last remnant of the dark times to remain within, and it is still costing us lives.
A child, in charge of millions of lives, with an advisor approaching the age of eighty, well past his prime. I say, let the wars be planned by generals and tacticians, not by unqualified youngsters or senile old men. It is costing lives.

Vedil paused.
“These Are the worlds obliterated by their mistakes, their people suffering from their errors.
But no, that is not the only blunders we have been having. It has come to my attention that losing this war could be on Daniel Masakis mind, after all he consorts with a Godulan spy, a one Kelvin Majestus, now wanted for murder of the noble Jennifer Masaki, and a Jedi, just recently made a Knight. Jedi Knight Caller.”
Vedil Bowed his head as though in mourning.
“This, though circumstantial evidence, is to me evidence enough that Daniel Masaki poses a risk to our war effort. The only sensible thing to do would be to remove him from positions of power which he is abusing, can we truly risk our liberty, our freedom, for a possible would be, new emperor?
As a result I have ordered the immediate deployment of the Death Star to Tenetia, until Daniel Masaki and the aristocracy remove themselves from power, we can not trust their survival unto themselves.”

Kelvin was actually surprised by the simplistic little move Fiona pulled, but was quick to readjust his momentum so that his boots thudded to the floor with tremendous force, actually causing the entirety of the chamber to vibrate slightly.
As soon as he touched down, he vanished again, rematerializing right in front of her with his knee already rocketing forward.

Hawkins ignited his saber as he bore down on the Sith Master it single viridian blade hummed a smooth beat in contrast with the Sith’s mighty force pike. As the ball’s of his force energy impacted with the flash and splendor he hoped for Hawkins attacked the Sith’s mind with his new and powerful physic abilities. He put in the Sith’s mind an imagine of him running directly at him howling like a berserker. But in reality he used the speed only a Jedi Master could attain and somersaulting over his enemies head, landing quickly behind the Sith he spun on his heels his green blade making to bisect his opponent.

"Master Alex, I think you'd better take a look at the speech." Master Elendil called, as he watched it from a holoscreen when he concluded his teaching of the Little Tigers. The Council decided to tentatively send a group of twenty initates to the Master of the Order to train, but the location of the others is still secret, even from the Chancellor.
The Jedi Master frowned as he returned from a short talk with his grandson. "Well, I'd better set the record straight. I'm heading to the Senate. Daniel has just sent word that Chronos and Fiona are at Yavin."
Elendil nodded. "I'll let the Council know of this development. Debate well."
"I will. It'll be interesting to cross lightsabers with the Chancellor." Alex smiled, and disappeared with a *pop*. He reappeared in the shadows near the Senate and headed in, cloak swishing regally.
Political Duel! Chancellor vs Patriarch!
"In a rebuttal of the Chancellor's words, respected Council member Jedi Master Alexander Masaki, Patriarch of Coreworlds, has appeared before the Senate to reply to the charges and defend Commander Masaki. As war rages around us, it appears that the Chancellor is also fighting a political battle at home as rumors of 20-year-old Daniel Masaki seeking his late father's Throne continues to grow. The young Heir is currently unavailable for comment on that and calls to him have not been returned." A news-Bothan reported. "Here he is now!"
"Senators, people of the Galaxy, let me make this clear! Knight Daniel Masaki is not in any position of power but merely a military commader who happened to be hunting down the Sith Lord Chronos, supreme commander of Chronosia, when the invasion occured. The Chancellor appears to be accusing him of incompetence when he is clearly fighting the very enemy that has attacked Coreworlds!" The Patriarch now stands in the Jedi Council pod, slicing the Chancellor into pieces with a verbal lightsaber at these ludicrous charges. "Knight Masaki is young at 20, I grant, but he is an experienced Commander in the Coredian Navy and a highly competent tactician, but he cannot be everywhere at once! No one can!"
"The Chronsians have caught us off-guard despite preparations, and of course we shall endeavor to prevent that. I grieve for the loss of life at Naboo, Teyr, and Devon, and ask the Chancellor to consider his words more carefully, for war is fickle, and the enemy is strong. But make no mistake, for we will counterattack against this Chaos foe! We will teach them what it means to strike our planets and our civilians!" Alex thundered. "Let me make clear The Admirals and Generals are hard at work as we speak providing strategies to stop the invasion and they cannot be blamed for this invasion either, only Chronosia. At the same time, I thank the Chancellor for granting the use of the Death Star, although I still believe it should be turned into a civilian city after this conflict is over." A small chuckle occured from the crowd. Alex still has the touch!
"As for initiate Kelvin who, I quote him 'laughed in the face of his Godulan leaders' when he talked about them in front of the Council, unable to even lie before the Masters of the Order, I highly suggest you bring proof of his 'wrongdoings' before you throw accusations, Chancellor! He is only nine years old, after all." Several senators looked at the Chancellor as if he was crazy. A nine year old Jedi child, killing a Jedi Master and being a Godulan spy indeed! While Alex's earlier words about age and ability was true in some cases, this is just stupid! The Chancellor himself seems to be going senile, making him the pot that called the Admiral kettles black. Mutterings occured as some began thinking he needs to retire immediately after this war ends and a new chancellor be put in place. Elections are coming up in a year.
"Besides, it was former Knight Hawkins, and he was already punished most severely by the Council, so if the Chancellor would please drop the accusations against a mere child he never met, the Council would be grateful." Alex finished, folding his arms as his words seemed to have an effect on the Senate. "Is there anything more the 'honorable' Chancellor would like to say?"
The Jedi Master calmly awaited the Chancellor's response as he finished publicly humiliating the Chancellor. Poll approval ratings seemed to start going down as well, especially in Coreworlds. Still fairly high, but the Chancellor has just been dealt a nasty political blow!

As soon as he touched down, he vanished again, rematerializing right in front of her with his knee already rocketing forward.
The young Sith disappeared, the knee missing her face by seconds, and reappeared to deliver a strong high kick to his smaller ribs, then if it connected, she will do a second port and punch his face...HARD. All the time, the Dark Side powered her, fueling her muscles so that each blow would be like getting hit by a speeder truck.
Kelvin had to admit that he'd walked into a conundrum. Tremendous speed was useless if one was in midair. All he could do was turn in midair to meet the oncoming roundhouse.
The kick hurt like hell, but he'd managed to turn so that he could grab her leg in return, and he glued himself to her like a lamprey, and as took hold of her leg, he cut loose with a single force pulse targeted directly on her gut. Not a large one by any stretch of the imagination, but it would make her feel as though she had just taken the same impact he had.

"Oof!" The blow reverbrated back into her, knocking the wind out of her. But her fury kept her focused, and she charged another Force Lightning blast into Kelvin, shocking him right to the bones. She had her brother to thank for that. Whether or not he let go, she teleported again. If he let go of her, she would teleport above him and use an ax kick on his head. If he didn't, she would teleport farther up into the air and throw him down hard. The impact should really hurt something in him if he doesn't 'port his way to the ground. After that? She would plan her next move when Kelvin retaliates.
