Galactic Senate
OOC: This Rp, will be going place, don't worry all you GE fans, this RP is utterly free and open. If you would like to talk to me feel free to msn me on Wardventure1@aol.com. I will also need someone to rp an assassin attempting to kill Vedil.
As chancellor Vedil slowly made his way onto the platform, a vast round of applause erupted from the newly rebuilt Senate Dome. Thousands of senators had gathered for this most momentous occasion, after one hundred years democracy was finally returning to the Galaxy. Walking along the recently installed bridge Vedil wished for the old floating platforms, but due to recent security concerns they had been disabled for his and the other dignitaries safety. Waving into the cameras as every good politician does Vedil could only laugh to himself at the arrogance of the Grand Admiral. That blue rodent Thrawn, thought he could destroy everything I had worked for, even bled for. Well, soon he would know otherwise, and without Thrawn everything that the old Empire stood for would fall.
Taking his place on the podium Vedil thought back to his first days in the senate, those many years ago. But that time was now gone, and the present was more important than the past. Lifting a hammer Vedil banged three times to call the Senate into order.
Boom.... Boom.... Boom
"Order...... We shall have order. As the great mumble of the crowd slowly dissipated into silence Vedil coughed ready to give his speech.
"My fellow senators and citizens of the Galactic Empire, today is a day that will stand testament to the resolve of our integrity and judgement. For one hundred years we have been slowly nudging the Empire towards peace. For one hundred years, we have been dictated to by tyrants and monsters, for one hundred years our voice has been growing louder. No longer can the dictators of old overrule us. No longer can they halt our words to the people and Galaxy at large, for we have something that is dear, and should never have been lost. We have our freedom. A great eruption of applause boomed through the dome
"The Imperial Navy guards and protects us, but in times past it has also, attacked and crippled our people and our worlds. No more can the military be in control of itself, we must begin sweeping reforms if we are truly to change and move past the horrors of the Dark Empire. Therefore as the first act of this senate, I will put forward a bill myself. The Imperial Reformation act....... If this bill passes, the peoples military, the peoples guardian will no longer be controlled by mad men and machines of evil. It shall be controlled by elected officials, who have been given the right to decide upon the fate of their worlds. We have choice to continue freeing our worlds, let us not pass it by. It has been a ha............
"Holopad off" The blue hologram of the senate dome decintigrated instantly. "Well gentleman, there we have it. It seems that Senator Vedil has overstepped the mark, with his speech. Not one word matched the pre-drafted transcript."
"Wait, he did refer to freedom."
Thrawn looked up from his data pad. "Yes but he used it in the wrong context. We must find a way to remove him before he has the public lapping up every word. His speech of freedom and liberation has been heard countless times before, and for every time it is mentioned the people fall for it. Ironic really, they only want democracy when they don't have it, but when it finally enters their grasp, they vote themselves out of it. Utterly preposterous. We must remove this senator.... Vedil as soon as possible, otherwise we will lose our jobs, and most likely our lives. The good senator will undoubtedly set up a new inquiry as to the attack on Coruscant, if that happens, our heads will not be as secure as they once were."
"So Admiral? What do you propose?" Malin asked from the back of the room.
"Find a bounty Hunter, a good one. Vedil must not last the month."
OOC:I don't RP as a bounty hunter nation, but I have several privateers who have a letter of marque from our government. Can I RP here?

OOC: BIG TAG! Be coming in big-time! *Rawr! Growl!*
Vector sat in the scummy corner of a scummy bar in what could only be considered the officially archetypical smugglers' haven.
It was an asteroid among many. Not even a big one. Nice and nondescript... if you didn't count the large number of power signatures indicative of several spaceships moored within the asteroid's docking areas. Hidden weapons bays, sensor scramblers, yadda yadda yadda.
The people sitting around in the cantina were your typical assortment of riff-raff and below-the-radar folks. Hunkered over their tables, whether they were playing Sabacc or just enjoying a grody mug of lichen-distilled brew, they kept a wary eye on each other, looking for the earliest sign of any threat.
Except for one fellow... who seemed to be taking the concept of "Boozing and Schmoozing" to the limit of its extents... and volume.
Vector was having a good day. He'd just returned from a rather lucrative assassination plot that paid him entirely too much for a job against a guy he'd have been fully willing to whack for free, and he'd managed to snag a mass-murderer on the stop before he'd reached this point, who now sat in front of him, hands cuffed and fingers broken to powder so as to prevent escape in anything less than an EXTREMELY painful manner.
He was a loud one, yes he was. Bragging to the various waitresses and robots about his exploits throughout the past... week... Scores of dead Rancors, hundreds of bad guys with swords, so on so forth. He was making the rest of the smugglers hunker over their respective boozes and games ever more closely in order to tune out his boisterous bellowing.
Then suddenly, much to the surprise of everybody in the room, the bragging stopped. Followed by a "What... THEHELLDOYOUWANT?"
A fellow in a dark suit stood before his table, holding a small data pad. "I bring you a chance to make some more money."
"OW!" Binky the mad clown killer squeaked as his knee was viciously assaulted by Vector's plated boot.
"Scoot over, let the businessman have a seat."
Binky whimpered, but complied. The man in the dark suit sat down and tried to look mysterious while sitting next to a bruised man in a yellow wig and a big red nose.
The man passed the data pad over to Vector, who picked it up and looked at it.
"Who the hell is this?"
"Senator Vedil of the Imperial senate."
"I could have gathered that by his title. What'cha want me to do to him?"
"I would prefer not to say in such a crowded setting."
"FINE... how about some innuendo? How exactly does this equation need to be solved?"
The man in the dark suit stared at Vector blankly for a moment. A small honk of confusion came from his side. Then a proverbial lightbulb popped and fizzled over his head.
"I need you to simplify the equation."
"Ah, well to do that, one simply removes this little problem factor."
"Indeed."
"So what's the numerical solution, just so I can check my work?"
"Two and a half million and cents."
"When are you gonna need me to turn in my work?"
"As soon as possible. Valuable... research hinges on its completion."
Vector slipped back into his normal talk. "No time to bring this doink back to pay the piper, eh?" he said, pointing at the formerly homicidal clown.
"Afraid not."
"Darn... oh well, if you will excuse me..." Vector whipped out a large knife, shrieked "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!" and stabbed Binky in the neck. "THAT'LL TEACH YOU TO RESIST ARREST YA BASTAGE!"
He turned back to the Dark Suited fellow, and wiped the knife on the table. "He's worth half pay dead. And its cheaper to not have to feed him if I have to drag him along for this."
Vector smashed the datapad against the table, then handed the remaining half to the Dark Suited man. "Don't want to be caught with evidence, now do ya? I'll be along."
Vector thudded his way to the ship in the Smugglers' Den's Docking Bay... 3, was it? Whichever it was, it was the "Deluxe Package"... i.e. it was actually cleaned once a week. Cost a hundred credits more to dock, but hey, the last thing Vector needed was smugglerscum gumming up his landing gear again.
His ship looked like crap, but it was crap that would get an unwary attacker very very dead very very quickly.
It looked like a floating heap of shrapnel, with cannon turrets and heavy armor plates innoccuously positioned around its exterior. It could look like a piece of space debris one second, and open up with enough firepower to knock a medium-sized frigate into the scrapyard of doom.
Vector toggled the Loading ramp down as he reworked his grip on the dead clown's collar. Several turrets swiveled to target him almost immediately, followed by a curt "Hands up, meatbag!"
"DAMMIT, Yargh, you know who it is!"
"So?"
"And so does Poofy."
"So?... AAAAACK! Vector, get in here and get your damn dog off me before I angrily get torn to pieces!"
Yargh, named for the sound people make just after somebody figures out he isn't a maintenance droid, was a particularly heavily modified version of an HK series robot. Slightly larger than a wampa and enough weaponry to conduct a one-bot siege against a small continent (with little exaggeration), Yargh prided himself on his quiet nature, if not his sunny disposition.
Poofy stood eight feet tall at the shoulder, wagged his tail incessantly, loved being petted by anybody close enough to do so, knew Vector had a seemingly endless supply of dog treats, and had cybernetic fangs capable of biting through half a foot of duranium steel. His full name was actually "Poofy, Destroyer of Worlds".
Vector dragged the body into the ship and was immediately drooled on by the enormous, happy, and tremendously lethal dog.
"Hey Yargh, cut this guy's head off, Puree the body, add in a few nutritional supplements and give the dog his dinner. We're heading to Coruscant for a little 'outing'."
"Again?"

Binky the Mad Clown Killer's head happily positioned on a hook behind his chair, Vector flipped switches, toggled levers, pressed buttons, and tapped consoles as he prepared his ship, the Fifth Horseman for the trip to Coruscant.
"Hey Yargh! Did you get those pieces I ordered?"
The sound of blending and chopping from the back halted for a moment, and Yargh's nasal voice issued forth: "Doubtless any and all scans would simply detect us as one large plasma rifle. May I ask what the Thermal Detonators are for?"
"Dunno. Just thought it would be nice to have some on hand."
What could he say, Vector was an ordinance packrat. Ya never know when something or somebody might need a hole or ninety in it, was his philosophy. Oddly enough, it had never failed him.
One instance in particular, which he liked to recall whenever he spoke to an arms dealer, was the time he was attacked by approximately twenty vengeful gangbangers, whose leader he had rather ignominiously roasted to a crisp. They came in B-wings, they B-came ashes, all because just the week before Vector had given Yargh his brand-spankin' new artillery package.
When "Shall. We. Play. A. Game?" came onto the attackers' comm units seemingly out of nowhere, only one person drew a connection and tried to flee. He died first.
Yargh was fun. He was also good with cutlery, but then so was Vector, and Vector wouldn't have a weapons droid without the ability to smash a bottle on countertop and scream "'M gonna CUT ya biatch!" with the best of them.
The ship had been revving for a bit when out from the back, Yargh's voice issued forth once again. "Poofy, dinner." This sentence was immediately followed by a gutteral howl of glee and a stampede of furry death-bringing paws. The ship shook visibly under the excited frenzy of the cyberpooch.
Yargh trundled into the cockpit and sat down at the Copilot's seat.
"Yargh, you smell like clown."
"I guess you must be rubbing off on me, Meatbag."
Vector sighed. "Everything's an opening to you, isn't it."
"Everything but your mouth. That is just a catastrophe. Do you know what toothpaste is, sir?"
"You can't smell!"
"No, but whenever you talk to me, I rust. I do not need a nose to know your breath could send a Krayt Dragon screaming in terror."
Vector sighed again, accompanied by a "Sir would you stop that? I just CLEANED that console," from his left. Then began the departure as he heard a Canine belch erupt from the back.
"To coruscant we go, with razor blades and hand grenades."
"And a breath that is legally considered an NBC weapon."
"Shut up."
OOC: So when do I start getting interaction posts? When Vector reaches Coruscant?
The trip was somewhat less annoying then expected, primarily after Vector remembered that Yargh had an off switch. The copilot's seat looked as though fur had flooded the cockpit, due to the fact that Poofy decided to curl around Yargh's seat and sleep.
The Fifth Horseman whirred and buzzed its way out of the asteroid belt, and jumped into hyperspace without incident as soon as it cleared the debris.
As previously stated, the trip to Coruscant was only marginally annoying, considering that Vector spent most of the trip pumping iron in a back compartment. He was closing in on benching seven-hundred pounds nowadays, thanks in part to his cyberlimbs done by the same now-dead roboticist that gave Yargh his "upgrade".
Landing on Coruscant was also not much of a problem, although a moment of tension did rise when a Star Destroyer mistook Fifth Horseman for an oversized anti-matter warhead. But when the curse-filled assurance by Vector that the ship was just going to an arms emporium in the industrial sector, the ISD sent an escort of fighters to escort him down, just in case his ship WAS an oversized anti-matter warhead.
Landing procedures for an anti-matter warhead are oddly simplistic.
"You gonna blow something up?"
"Maybe later."
"K. Landing pad 2349523051340256209856130895623406510650.2 is open and ready. I hope you wrote that down."
He didn't, but landing control didn't seem to mind him landing on top of a Sullustan marble freighter. But then, the freighter was about the size of one of the [i]Fifth Horseman[i]'s landing braces, so all the Sullustan pilot could whine about was the fact that Vector had double parked.
Vector turned Yargh back on (receiving a thankful "I hate you" in the process) and wandered off into the planet-wide city.
"Heeeeeere contact contact contact..."

As Vector wandered the thousands of streets, levels and platforms that was the city planet he would slowly become aware that he was being followed. Walking up a long and partly deserted street a man, dressed in the standard black Garb of Imperial intelligence waited. The typically Imperial officer was disguised by steam emanating from the many vents in the walls and floor, all Vector could do was continue onwards. If the bounty hunter turned around he would not be surprised to find two Dark troopers waiting in the darkness.
From the cloud of white steam, a stern and authoritative voice sounded. "I assume you are here regarding the... complex equation, that is needing solved?"

Master Rydo and the other Council Members stood around a kneeling Fiona Masaki in a darkened room, with only the lights of the sabers ablaze.
"Apprentice Masaki, you have passed your Trials with flying colors, and now, the Council has decided to confer upon you the rank of Jedi Knight." Master Rydo said solemnly. She levitated Fiona's newly-made lightsaber before the girl, as Master Alex Masaki took a brown, formal Jedi cloak and wrapped it around her shoulders. "Take up your lightsaber, and ignite it for the first time as a Knight of the Jedi Order!"
Resisting the urge to break out in a wide grin, Fiona grabbed the lightsaber and ignited it.
"Recite the New Code, if you please." Alex said, proud of his granddaughter.
"There is emotion, yet there is peace."
Emotion cannot be denied, for it is forever a part of the sentient condition. A Jedi Knight is at peace when her emotions are centered and in control.
"There is ignorance, yet there is knowledge."
An Old Jedi Order failing. The Old Order under Yoda failed to recognize their own arrogance and ignorance, believing the Sith to be gone. A Jedi's knowledge is never complete, and that must always be the wisdom even in the most experienced one. But ignorance should never be part of a Jedi's life because it leads to assumption, which lead to prejudice.
"There is passion, yet there is serenity."
Passion for life is a part of the Light and a creed of the Jedi. But it must be tempered by serenity, for it could lead to fanaticism, a pathway to darkness.
"There is death, yet there is the Force."
Death is the cycle of life, the acknowledgement of natural processes. All living things die, and even the stars themselves suffer this fate. But the Force is greater than death itself, and creates life even as life creates the Force. The cycle of life, death and rebirth can never be broken for it is a fundamental nature of the universe.
Knight Fiona Masaki shone with pride at having made it at the same age as Daniel did, three years ago. But where is he anyway? And the twins as well? She still missed her mother terribly, but Mother wished her well from whereever she was. Jennifer was truly proud of her daughter.
She and a few girlfriends then headed to the mess hall to celebrate with a party in her honor.
From the cloud of white steam, a stern and authoritative voice sounded. "I assume you are here regarding the... complex equation, that is needing solved?"
"Yeah, after initial working of the problem, I discovered that some of the terms needed definition. Coordinates, entry calculations, numerical figures, time dependency... all the good stuff."
Yargh gave an aggravated hiss as he attempted to see the concealed operative. "I am afraid that the meatbag is disrupting my thermals... it is somewhat more annoying than the dog drooling on me."
Vector smacked Yargh on the shoulder and grinned in the operative's direction. "I hope you don't mind, but I brought my calculator. Its VERY good at simplifying things."
"If you actually knew as much about math as you make it sound," Yargh said irritatedly, "I wouldn't be the one balancing the checkbooks."
"Shaddap ya damn rustbucket."

"Very, I, will speak bluntly as I am a busy man, but I have been ordered to tell you that your payment will be transferred to the pre given accounts on completion of the job. The contract is kill senator Vedil, the newly "elected" representative for Coruscant. Do it quick, preferably painful, my superiors wish the good senator to suffer, but regardless, as long as he is dead. Your prime chance to attack will be when he boards his ship the "Imperial Judgement" as he leaves for an armed forces conference on Naboo, the Senate will be out of session that weekend so you will have a primary opportunity to take him alone, we are not expecting him to have an escort of political wranglers. We would of course sabotage the ship, or place an explosive ourselves however that is too Imperial, this attack must appear that it was done by some gang, or lunatic that has breached the inner security. Speaking of which....." A data pad came flying out of the steam towards Vector. ""Those are the given nights security codes, they will be changed, eight minutes after the senator is supposed to leave for Naboo, we estimate taking delays into account, you will have four minutes to escape the inner perimeter before the codes change. It is a tight schedule, but your payment is worth it. Due to recent concerns over the senators well being, a shield was raised over his personal landing pad, sadly jet packs are unavailable to use, you only have the option to go on foot. Any questions"?
"Not a damn one. Although I can most assuredly guarantee that it WILL appear as though some lunatic got into the building..." He snatched the data pad out of the air and gave it a quick once-over. "I hope you don't mind lots and lots of explosions."
"The master prefers being more direct than most," Yargh declared, "It is something he calls 'the nitty gritty'."
"Yeah! This one time, at bandit camp..."
"Do NOT tell that story again, Master. I never thought a droid such as I could ever become emotionally scarred, but you proved me wrong, and you keep proving me wrong each and every time you tell that story."

"Senator, the Imperial judgement is five hours away from Hoth, a course detail is almost impossible. I cannot authorise it wihtout authorisation from Grand Admiral Thrawn."
"Captain, as much as I admire, your, your..... loyalty, I'm sure you understand the political climate, there will be many reform sin the Empire shortly, do you see yourself spearheading them? I'm sure if you do this for me, I can do something for you."
"I see, and what is on Hoth that is so important?"
"Just a man captain, only a man."
"Very well Senator, we have a deal."
1700 Hours
Moving through the Grand corridor extending from the senate dome to the former Imperial Palace, Senator Vedil was busy mingling with leading politicians. The gathering support for the upcoming Imperial reform bill was gaining new supporters every day, while the die hard Imperialists lurked in corners, in the shadows of democracy. Insuring he kept his distance from them Vedil could obviously see a great divide forming in the senate. While many Core systems wished to continue the Imperial way of life, the Republican and democratic movements were gaining supporters, but the greatest opposer was Grand Admiral Thrawn. The alien, though one of the most influential people in the Galaxy, was very unpopular with outer core systems, especially those annexed in the Great Sith and Jedi wars. After securing support from the East Federation delegation Vedil excused himself and began to head for his ship. Escorted by two Storm troopers, and followed by deputy Vedil was as usual never alone.
As he passed from the Palace to the docking bay the Senator began to head along the grand corridor only reserved for Chancellors of the Galactic Senate. Realising that the emperor too would have passed down this corridor many a time, Vedil laughed at the change in politics in the Empire. Perhaps his new dynasty would last longer?
Vector had gotten out his "Special" arms for tonight's attack, and Yargh was especially pumped at the prospect of taking out latent frustrations on an imperial senator.
Vector himself wore a rather large poncho, doing his best to hide the massive amounts of ordinance he had hidden on his person behind a veil of anti-scan weave. And Yargh came with a floor buffer in order to somewhat reinforce his alter ego as a simple maintenance droid the size of Arkansas. Poofy remained at home, as having a very large dog with cyberjaws rampaging through the hallways, howling and yipping, would do little for even Vector's rudimentary attempts at a stealthy incursion.
Up to a back door they went, right around the time they were supposed to be, completely innocuous to anybody with an IQ lower than 5. Tippitty tap, the code went in, and the door opened, saying "Greetings, Mister Winkle, you have >EIGHT< unread messages..."
Vector ignored the odd message and continued into the complex, with Yargh making a show of having his buffer.
Kinda quiet for an Imperial senator's mansion, he thought to himself as he passed corridor after corridor, where are the elite guards, security droids, and all the rest of that crap?
Vector and Yargh meandered through the complex, getting more and more curious about the strange lack of a security force. As of yet, not a single person had even shown up, much less asked the two Death-Dealers what the hell they were doing in Vedil's residence.
As if to answer their curiosity, FINALLY, a single storm trooper stood outside what appeared to be a small computer room... the security center.
One guard... next to the security mainframe? What. The. Hell?
With Yargh hanging back, Vector walked up in his oversized poncho and caught the Stormtrooper's attention.
"Excuse me, would you happen to know where the nearest janitorial closet is? I'm afraid I left my gear in the van and forgot the codes to get back out."
"What? There are no cleaning details scheduled today! Who are y--gggggkkkk..."
Vector loved the very large spike-driver he had embedded in the top of his arm. All he needed to do was point, flex his fingers, and a meter long spear of duranium steel lanced out, impaling the target before he or she could even react. This came particularly effective when the target had no form of neck protection.
The Trooper dropped, his spine severed between the spot where his helmet ended and his torso armor began. It was a painless death, though Vector would have liked seeing the unfortunate fellow squirm.
He was quick to enter the security control room and check out whatever security apparatus the owner of the palace had arrayed against the intruders. Yargh followed close behind and set to work at diddling about with the computers. The hacking program cost a damn bundle but it had been so worth it it left "Not even funny" behind and circled around to "Hilarious". Security cameras... were now turned off and recharging. Security Quarantine Protocols... disabled... By the time Yargh was finished with the computers, the security system was deaf, blind, and otherwise completely ineffective. Hell, Yargh had even reset the timers on the code-change mechanisms so that the codes would switch in approximately nine weeks.
Vector took the chance before the cameras were shut down to scout out Vedil's location. The targeted Senator appeared to be making his way to the docking area, several stormtrooper guards in tow. It also seemed as though the bulk of the security force was focused on the wayward senator, leaving the rest of the place essentially unguarded, but making certain that protection around the senator was at the very maximum.
"I downloaded a layout schematic of the establishment before I turned the system into what would amount to be 'My Bitch'," Yargh declared, feeling somewhat happy at having 'pwned' the mainframe so easily, despite its heavy security protocols. "If we move quickly enough, we can catch the Senator before he leaves, while at the same time encountering as many Guards as possible on the way there. After all, if we clear the majority of the meatbags out on the way in, it will be easier to get out.
"Oh, and I also reprogrammed the security droids, however few there may be, to 'go postal.' There are approximately seven in the station, and all of them are heading towards Vedil. Oh, and until they fix what I did with the computer, I don't think those docking bay doors are going to open anytime soon."
Vector nodded his approval. "I like the way you think."
"You have to, I do it for the both of us."
"Bastage, lets move."
They hoofed it out of the security room, Vector bringing out his pair of repeating blaster rifles and Yargh discarding the floor buffer in favor of what appeared to be a shoulder-mounted fighter craft grade blaster cannon. Yargh also began playing a strange little tune he had heard a while back that never ceased to amuse him for some reason. He played it whenever he was about to go into 'the big fight'...
Who let the dogs out... who who who who who...
Throughout the complex, the shit had officially hit the proverbial fan. It was not seven but some sixty-five security robots and about thirty something maintenance droids that had essentially been told to go utterly psycho (two thirds of them were dormant before the command shift), and go psycho they did!
Doubtless one stormtrooper found himself more than dumbfounded when he was mobbed by a trio of interrogation droids. Another found himself dodging cutlery flung by the resident culinary droid (who had a remarkable aim), but was swiftly overwhelmed by the attacking dishwasher.
And through it all, Yargh and Vector charged through the halls, bringing death, knives, and ill-will upon any living thing in their path, and playing reggae at maximum volume.
Getting shot to the tune of "Don't Worry Be Happy" is not as pleasant a demise as one would think.
It was true anarchy as Vector and Yargh made their way past broken bodies and blasted droids towards the senator's shuttle bay, and soon enough, there they were, in the docking bay control room, overlooking the shuttle and its somewhat bewildered soon-to-be-occupants-if-nothing-is-done-about-it.
It was easy enough to punch out the main viewport window, as Vector had something of a rocket-powered left hook. Literally. The window shattered like a crystal wine glass, and all attention suddenly turned to the spiky-haired wack-job in the control booth.
"GLADRNIAUPRA IWEORNA FLINTO!" Vector shrieked at the top of his lungs. He figured saying an odd little thing like that would help enforce the idea that the place had been essentially ransacked by a very nutso yet very smart man.
The next sound to emerge from the control booth was Yargh's "Shall. We. Play. A. Game?" Followed by what would seem to have been a very large number of blaster cannons emerging out throught the window and leveling themselves upon the surprised senator.
"FLIP NACK BLARNY QUANDO FLUUUUUUUUUU!" Vector squealed as Yargh commenced 'ordinance discharge' and essentially subjected the senator to the equivalent of a localized orbital bombardment.

As screams echoed throughout the corridors the Senators Guard took formation within the ship, guarding known entrance points and exits. As the vessel prepared for launch an increasingly anxious pilot became dumbfounded. “Hu? Docking bays won’t open” as he fiddled with the codes and communication equipment a swarm of droids began opening fire upon the ship. looking up at the window, he saw tall silver droid standing, his arm pulled back and then with a crash it smashed into the craft. “Cockpit breeched! Arrgag” As the ship came under attack from all sides an unknown threat pushed its way into the bowels of the transport.
“Computer, send distress signal on internal communication equipment, code white.” Green Galactic Standard writing appeared on the screen waiting for an authorisation code. “Authorisation Vedil 221/A Empire” The signal began to transmit, and before long an entire regiment would be pouring down the corridors of the Palace. Turning Vedil noticed a shadow creeping round the doorway with inhuman stealth. As the droid opened fire, the senator raised his hands as a shield.
Vector took a longer look at the blast mark that used to be what he thought was the senator, then thudded his hands on the walls, leaving a pair of nasty dents.
"Aw dammit. That ain't him! Looks like an accountant or something. Oh hey, that big silver droid there looks like its doing a good job of taking apart the shuttle... whoa, it just bashed in the cockpit viewport... oh geez, there goes the pilot... daaaaaaaammmmmnnn... that HAD to suck."
"Sir, it would appear that the meatbag we are looking for has sent out a distress signal. Military forces are en route."
"JAM THAT SHIT!"
"Transmission jammed, but it has already transmitted a few cycles at broad spectrum. I suspect that half the military knows what is going on here."
"DAMN! Gotta pick this shit up then. Revert and follow me down, its time for a little scuttling."
Vector jumped through the blasted window and came to a landing on the docking bay floor with a jaw-clenching thud, somehow managing to stay on his two feet through the landing. He brought his repeater rifles to bear and headed for the main boarding ramp. Two guards came rushing out to defend the ship from the big silver one that was putting some nice dents on it, but they immediately dropped due both to his blasterfire and that of another droid on the far side of the bay, who was wearing a tablecloth around its base like a kilt and screaming "YE CAN WIPE MY MEMORY, BUT YE CANNA TAKE MA FREEEEEEEDOM!"
Yargh thudded down behind Vector, and received an approving nod from the now-scottish battle droid.
"I think you went a little over the top, Yargh."
"You said psycho, master."
"I guess I did."
Vector and Yargh began taking a "leapfrogging for cover" measure as they made their way to and eventually up the main boarding ramp. Sounds of gunfire emanated from the interior of the craft, along with frantic shouts and other such fun things.
Two more guards ran by, and were cut down at the necks. A group of duster droids bolted over to the corpses and began doing a strange tribal dance around their bodies.
Vector and Yargh continued on.

OOC: NS is broken, I can only post with IB :'(
As the tall silver droid fell to the floor in a smoking heap senator, Vedil took to his chair. The small view port afforded him with a grand view of the conflict, several droids fell to the ground cleaved in two as the black robed Republican guard scythed through their opponents. The booms of gunfire could be heard out with and inside the ship, while screams of guards emanated from the corridors extending deep into the superstructure.
Smiling in an amusing manner the senator turned to find a man, and a droid watching him at the door, phased by the half molten machine at their feet Vedil smiled, tilting his head in a most informal manner he waited.

OOC: US i cant get on msn for a week so just let me know if you dont like this post...
IC:
Former senator Hawkins of the Confederacy of the Farstars no longer held the position of senator over the conflicts that arose from the bombardment of the senate.
He sat in his small flat in the slums of the lower levels of Coruscant, he could afford better yet modesty was something he believed in and his life as first a marine and later as a Jedi knight has always been well Spartan.
He mediated in the center of his small and quite empty bedroom. He had been doing so for over a week, the force flowed through his body sustaining it as his he searched his soul and the force for the answers he sleeked. He remembered his imprisonment and torture at the hands of the Imperials under Thrawn’s orders. There was a hole in his head he could not recall the events that took place for a part of that experience and he sought to fill in those gaps.
It would have to wait for he heard the good senator's distress call, and he would answer it, as was the duty of a Jedi Knight. He searched for the Senator's essences and found it surrounded by anarchy, guards confused by their own druids actions, chaos abounded, then he felt the aggressor's presence one of whom wasn’t organic, he saw their location and concentrated on it, teleportation was a difficult technique that he learned from his old master whom Darth Vader himself slayed. He then appeared standing before the two aggressors.
His white light saber ignited with a snap-hiss, and he told them sarcastically,
"Pardon me good sirs...I must inform you that the proper protocol for an audience with a senator is to make an appointment with one of his staff. Until you do that I going to have to ask you to leave the premises."
Vector had dealt with Jedi and Sith in the past. He did not exaggerate when he said his speed and strength was awe-inspiring, even when seen by a force user. He had to be, if he were to have any hope of actually combatting such folk head to head.
He had to be smart, too. His arms were reinforced with a particular alloy that resisted energy surprisingly well. To his arms, a lightsaber was just another sword.
In response to the... annoying statement by the secondary senator, Vector took one hand off of his massive repeating blaster, brought it up before him, and extended his middle finger in the senator's direction.
"Sit and spin, punk. Yargh, divide and conquer."
With that, his brought his finger back down, flexed his fist, and it launched towards the newcomer like a five pound cannonball, attached by a small chain (similarly reinforced).
As the hand-cannon made its first shot (hur hur hur! Hand-cannon! Hur hur hur!), Yargh took a single side-step and began pouring cannonfire into the newcomer.
Also, the strangely dressed Droideka from outside the ship had decided to follow its new pals in and see what was going on. The entry was not big enough for Yargh, Vector, and the odd droid, but with Yargh's sudden vacancy, the Droideka trundled in and added its own blasterfire to the situation. Both Yargh and the Droideka brought their defensive shields up, and Vector always had a personal shield up and running (why more people don't was beyond Vector. If ya run into a Jedi, you need that little insurance from a one-slice dismemberment...)
As if to add more insult to injury, the strange duster droids that had been dancing outside now ran in and started hurling themselves at the newcomer's legs.

Imperial Command
Commander Saluk was having a bad day, and now things had just become worse. A priority message had been transmitted from within the Imperial palace, and it was by none other than Chancellor Vedil himself. Imperial control had known about the incident for five minutes now, with sketchy reports regarding the situation trickling through, but the most concerning feature was that everything was out of control.
External sensors indicated that the droids were going crazy, and no one at all could be raised on any channel, even the Chancellors ship had been jammed. But the droids, were the priority.
Commander Saluk was now hovering over Captain Teban, one of the Empires brightest technological minds. “Can you stop them?” Saluk asked.
“Well lets see, the primary mainframe has been scrambled, recognition protocols severed, transceiver commands are still functioning. We can shut down the droids. Just give me a few seconds, and alert all security teams that internal power for section fifteen is going down. All palace droids work of the transceiver, if that’s down, the droids are down. Without the scrambled mainframe code they will go into hibernation. Pulling up core codes, bypassing power routes, ordering emergency Capacitors to discharge.”
Launch Bay
Standing back Vedil watched as Hawkins fought hand to hand with his two opponents, moving further back into the large room the Chancellor made a run for the back exit. Blaster bolts followed in his wake, until the room flew into darkness, turning at the shock of this new devilry, Vedil saw Hawkins, glowing in the pale white of his lightsabre. Scrambling for the door controls Vedil finally heard the reassuring Hiss and fell out into the corridor. Falling against a large, muscled object Vedil recognised it as Captain Bernat. Carefully putting the senator to one side Bernat rushed into the room to deal with the intruders.

Yavin IV, 1715 hours, Coruscant Time...
Knight Fiona Masaki stepped into the Council Chambers. "You wished to see me Masters?"
A fellow Jedi, Padawan Edogawa and Genin shinobi Morini are already before Council Members Rydo and Lowbacca.
"Yes, we have a mission for you three." Master Rydo said. "Senator Vedii has come under attack by bounty hunters. You are to go to Coruscant and take out the bounty hunters if they aren't already, then guard the Senator until the threats pass."
"[A shuttle will be ready in ten minutes, so pack lightly.]" The Wookiee Master rumbled. "[May the Force be with you three.]"
"Yes, Masters." They bowed and headed out quickly to pack and collect their gear, then ran to the shuttle. By 1725, they're off Yavin, and made the jump to hyperspace.

Jedi Hawkins was but he wasn’t always one, before he was called to the Jedi vocation he was a noncom in the Marines and one thing they ingrained into him was to always be prepared.
Hawkins pulled out an ION grenade from his cloak and threw it at the two droids at the very least it would take there shields down. This action however cost him as the quite insane assassin shot his fist at him. He had time only to establish a relatively weak force barrier that degraded the force at which the missile struck, and it impacted on his left shoulder blade throwing Hawkins to the ground in a spin.
He recovered quickly however and used his saber to parry the incoming hail of blaster bolts back upon the droids that shot them at him he watched them hit sparks flying he dearly wishing he had an ION rifle that would shut those two up.
Each time he managed to dodge that fist but he could tell this was a losing scenario, each time the fist was getting closer to impacting, Hawkins began to fall back towards the doors the senator exited from, if he could delay the enemy that much would be enough.
Yargh always had a second shield ready for a situation just as this. As the ion grenade sponged away his shields, the power going to the shielding was automatically diverted into a second shield.
The Droideka, however, was not so lucky, with its shield poofing from existence with an amusing twirly sound. The trio of attacking dustbusters were not shielded at all, and so went to Silicon Heaven with a series of beeps and tweedles that resembled "I REGRET NOTHING!"
The Droideka also had some choice words to say about the loss of its shielding:
"YE CAN TAKE MA SHIELDS, BUT YE CANNA TAKE MA FREEDOM!"
It turned one of its blasters away from the fight and began flailing for any form of loose furniture, using it's blaster placement as a rudimentary hand to fling randomized objects at the defending jedi.
Yargh, meanwhilst, decided that blasterfire and jedi were not exactly good combinations when it came to avoiding ricochets, and so brought out a pair of lightsabers of his own. The spoils of having a few dead Jedi to his name, Vector had decided that giving the lightsabers to his droid would be the best way to utilize them, as it would be easier to replace Yargh's limbs if one or two happened to get lopped off during practice.
Vector simply ignored the Ion grenade and brought out a pair of concussion grenades in return. Circling around the Jedi, he activated both of the grenades and dumped them both at the Jedi's feet before bolting after Vedil.

Soon, the shuttle holding one young knight and two apprentices reentered realspace in the Coruscant system, broadcasting the Jedi Academy transponder. Jedi Knight Fiona Masaki wondered what is going on with Senator Vedil's attack so far.
As the screech of sabre combat erupted form the Chancellors chambers Bernat threw the man behind him. Closing the door he smashed the locking controls, preventing any close pursuit, all be it a small amount of time, but it was all he needed. Running with the Chancellor through the bowels of the ship Bernat finally came upon the entrance ramp, and what would be relative safety of the cargo bay. All that remained of the protection detail was two storm troopers and three black robes, but, if the Chancellor survived their death would not have been in vain.
As the remaining guards took position around Vedil, they waited for the imminent arrival of half the Coruscant garrison.

The Jedi shuttle got closer to Coruscant, and the pilot sent requests for clearance by order of the Jedi Council. Reason: The Chancellor is under attack and they are here to rescue him.
Vector charged headlong towards the airlock of the shuttle as the room behind him flexed with the force of the two Concussion grenades he'd left.
The corpse of one of the Dustbusters flew out of the room, along with one of the Droideka's blaster placements. A single "FREEEEEEDOOMMMMMMMM!" emanated from the room, followed by the sounds of the droideka finally collapsing. The sound of what he suspected was a human thudding against a far wall accompanied everything, and Yargh emerged from the room somewhat shakily.
"I am seriously debating whether to feed you cyanide in the near future, master."
"Built up an immunity."
"VX poison gas?"
"Artificial lungs that filter out the worst effects of toxic fumes."
"Tossing you into a lava flow?"
"That'll prolly do it. Now help me open up this door, looks like our payday jammed the controls behind him."
And so the two of them set to work opening the airlock door like a pair of bulldozers playing tug-of-war.

The Jedi shuttle got closer to Coruscant, and the pilot sent requests for clearance by order of the Jedi Council. Reason: The Chancellor is under attack and they are here to rescue him.
"Clearance granted! Hurry, the chancellor's ship is under attack!" The traffic controller yelled.
"Right!" The pilot zoomed down through the skies as the shield momentarily dropped, and aimed right for the current coordinates of the Chancellor. "Get ready, kids! I'm going to do a flyby!"
"Yeah!" Fiona nodded. "You know what to do, Morini."
"Right." As soon as the shuttle neared the chancellor's docking bay, the two Jedi and shinobi were ready to attack the bounty hunters. Fiona disappeared with a CRACK while grabbing Edogawa's shoulders and leaves somehow appeared and surrounded Morini as he, too, used a similar [and more common than Jedi] ninja technique.
The threesome reappeared behind the two bounty hunters with a CRACK and a shower of leaves.
"Damn, I wish I could have that skill." Colin said, jealous at the ninja and Knight's ability to disappear and reappear at will.
"Can't have everything!" Fiona smirked, then yelled at the bounty hunters. "Hey, you guys! Lay off the old man, will you?"
OOC: For reference, Fiona is nearing 17, and the other two are 15.
The door was halfway open by now, enough to permit Vector, yet still too small for Yargh's bulk.
Vector yanked a small capsul from Yargh's shoulder and held it before him. "Backup memory module. This'll prolly be yer last fight, dude, but I'll have you back to snuff in no time! Hold these twerps off as long as you can! I'm gonna see if I can finish the job without any MORE people popping out of nowhere in front of my face."
"Yes Master... you owe me big for this one!"
Yargh turned to the three Jedi and brought up his pair of Lightsabers. A couple clicks pinged from the enormous add ons inside Yargh, and several of the largest compartments fell off, save for two, which swiveled around and formed into a pair of secondary arms... also equipped with lightsabers.
"'M GONNA CUT YA!"
Vector took the chance and wriggled his way out of the airlock door, thudding onto the cargo bay floor, he turned and looked for the nearest signs of life. Noting voices from the very loading bay he had entered the ship with in the first place, he readied a second pair of concussion grenades and approached the loading bay swiftly and silently.
As he approached the back side of the ramp, he activated the grenades and hurled them both in, then stood back.
"YOU ARE ONE HARD PRICK TO CATCH, VEDIL! Err... HOOBA JOOBA WHEEBIE WHARG!"

The grenades came flying out of the ship, moving as if in slow motion the black robes turned in horror. Lifting their thermal cloaks for a small amount of protection they were thrown into the air like dolls. The shockwave engulfed the cargo bay causing ramparts and bulkheads to collapse, fires ignited, and the darkness erupted into red flame.
Turning the chancellor was seemingly unhurt by the grenade, his robes not even singed by the attack, Vedil waited for his attacker.
"Kaaaaaaaaaay... you are struck by no less than the amount of force involved in a shuttle crash... and you stand there as if about to say 'anybody feel that?'
"I can see yer gonna be a tough nut to... uh... kill."
Several blasters fell to the ground from his poncho, useless as a result of the ion grenade he'd essentially taken to the face. Reaching under his poncho with his right arm, he brought out what appeared to be an arm-mounted rivet-gun, supplied by a small ammunition ring wrapped around his arm, showing some hundred or so very nasty little nails.
He flexed his other hand and a meter-long pike of reinforced duranium popped from the top of his wrist. With his gun-arm, he ripped off his massive poncho, revealing what appeared to be a rather interesting set of armor, made of the same substance his arms, blades, and even Yargh was made of. Several knives adorned a small harness around his chest, as well as several more grenades, including a pair of thermal detonators.
"Me? Unprepared? Heh!"
Vector moved forward, cautiously this time. He knew battle skill when he saw it, and this one oozed 'Kick-ass' out his pores.

While he does have a lightsaber and is fast enough to fight Jedi, his skill lies more in ninjutsu. While he made a couple of handseals to prepare for an attack, Fiona and Cory fought Yargh with the fury that gives the Jedi Knight the reputation they have. They speed-blitzed him on top of having precognition, giving the HK model a nasty challenge.

Vedil now facing his arrogant foe smiled as he tilted his head, much like an infant.
“Are you threatening me, bounty hunter?”
The fires exploded with heat and energy as the senator moved towards his foe with surprising speed and accuracy. From his long black robes, a small, straight sabre hilt fell into Vedil’s right hand. With a screech the red blade ignited, and turned the fast phantom like attacker a crimson red.
Vector opened fire with a primitive projectile weapon, only to have the rounds impact effortlessly against an invisible field of force energy. Now into combat range Vedil struck like lightning, his blade swirling in the air, impacting upon Vectors armour with great cracks and flashes. While the Sith began to tear at his enemy, pieces of metal and fallen bulkheads came flying across the cargo bay as force guided missiles.
Jumping back from the duel, a great laugh erupted form the chancellor.

Hawkins hit the metal wall with a great deal of force that would have killed any less of a fighter, he felt to his hands and knees leaving a sizable dent in the wall. He was pissed it was not often he fell victim to an enemies attack like that, by the time he regained his feet the assassin team had already fled in the direction of the Senator's shuttle bay.
Hawkins dusted himself off and ran after them his light saber in hand, he heard the loud blasts of more concussion grenades but he also felt the arrival of reinforcements in the form of three Jedi, one of them a young Masaki he noticed.
When he reached the room he noticed the Jedi engaged with the H-K, it was the Senator's duel that intrigued him.
There was a dark and terrible power in the chamber, a power that would sacrifice anything to increase its volume the power of the SIth. Yet it was not coming from the Assassin rather it was emanating from the Senator himself!
Then he heard the laugh, it turned his blood cold for Hawkins had much experience with the SIth more so then all the other Jedi gathered in the room, he had heard that laugh before only from some of the most strong Sith he has faced in battle...
None of his concern showed on his face. He stood in the doorway face clear of emotion acting as a nodal point of peace and calm. In the deepest part of his soul though he was concerned the power of the SIth was an absolute power and as such it potentially could corrupt absolutely...the senator was playing a very dangerous game and if he fell into darkness the consequences would be dire.
The problem with using speed and tactics in a confined space, such as a hallway, and attacking two on one to boot, is that the ones using such skills were at a severe disadvantage due to the simple virtue of having nowhere to go.
Yargh had significant skills at fighting in confined spaces, his shipboard combat protocols were among some of the best, particularly with respect to melee weapons. An errant shot on a starship in the void of space could easily cause the ship to implode.
So Yargh felt perfectly at home combatting the pair of jedi in front of him, he honestly didn't have to do much to hold them back. Whenever they tried to do any fancy moves, they had to deal with the walls and each other tripping them up. Yargh just... assisted them. And slowly but surely he advanced a small distance forward, gaining distance from his secondary artillery packages he had discarded earlier to improve his maneuverability.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
SON OF A BITCH this guy is fast, Vector thought as he flailed wildly to parry and dodge the senator's attacks. Even with his speed and strength, Vedil seemed as a blur of sneering faces and lightsaber strikes. It was only by virtue of his own speed AND ARMOR that he had escaped being sliced into his constituent molecules.
But Vector was not arrogant by any stretch of the imagination. He knew full well he was a dead man if he kept at this speed demon like he was. He also knew that Vedil was NOT known for having these kind of force powers, and he also knew that Vedil was NOT a jedi.
Remembering the newscasts from the Sith Purges Thrawn had conducted so long ago, Vector suspected that being able to finger Vedil as a massively powerful sith lord would likely kill the senator as fast as any blaster bolt could.
It was at this point that he noticed that they had a spectator. The other senator that had been knocked senseless in the early stages of the strike had shown up, and from the looks of things, was also surprised at the nature of Vedil's powers. Vector could see straight through the Senator's emotionless facade. The fact that the senator was working so HARD at maintaining the facade was proof enough of his surprise.
Vector steeled himself for further melee, concentrating on his own moves, and waded back in, punching with his gun-arm and striking with his duranium pike. He hoped that if his gun-arm got close enough in a punch, he could jam a pair of needles into Vedil's gut, with no time for the senator to counter the shots.
Failing that, though, he knew exactly what he would have to do...
Run. In the flashiest way possible.

"What is that...?" Great power emanated from the other room as Fiona and Cody fought back in the confined space of the hallway. She was actually intruged about the power, but needed to concentrate on the battle with Yargh.
"Cody, fall back, now!" She ordered, as she realized how confined she was with both Yargh and Cody fighting. Going solo isn't her favorite, but she did have a plan that involves Morini's fire powers, taught by Sasuke-sensei. Reluctantly, Cody disengaged from the battle, as Fiona increased her speed and tempo to keep up. Of course, she couldn't last long...
Horgath! You done? She yelled telepathically, as she fought the HK model. She knew what he was capable of, and in the confined space of this hallway, knew that it would be effective.
He couldn't answer, but finished off his handseals. He smirked. "Katon: Goukakyuu no Jutsu!"
A large fireball spewed out of his mouth and towards the dueling twosome. Fiona had no trouble dodging the fireball as she teleported just before it hit her. She could still feel the heat as she 'ported behind her friend and watched the flames roar towards the doomed droid...
Yargh was quick to react to the massive fireball, slamming into the floor with surprising speed and charging forward to get away from the brunt of the fireball.
Then, he lunged forward, bringing his legs and arms close, turning into a giant bowling ball with lightsabers poking out, and charged the three Jedi., using the fireball behind him to assist his 'progress'
He dug his feet into the metal bulkhead to slow his momentum and came to a landing...
Inside the other room.
It did not take long for Yargh to realize that he now had a clear path between himself and Vector's melee, being that nobody had sealed off the airlock Vector and Yargh had initially entered through.
He tossed a few large pieces of furniture into the entryway of the hall he had just exited, and dumped a concussion grenade for effect, then spun on his mechanized heels and booked it the hell out towards where he assumed Vector and Vedil were fighting.
His pace quickened when he heard the sounds of lightsaber fighting. The Payday was paramount, time to collect.

"Shit! I couldn't get him!" Horgath cursed, and the threesome jumped over the bowling-ball moving droid, then Fiona used a Force-wall to block the backdraft as it was a confined space after all, and confined spaces do create backdraft problems when one uses fire techniques. She then cooled it off and it calmed down. The hallway metal was partially melted, testament to the high temperatures that the droid just survived.
"Hey, he's getting away!" Cody yelled.

The two Jedi didn't waste time in sending a telekinetic blast into the blocked-up doorway, which detonated the concussion grenade. Fortunately, they were far back enough so that it didn't affect them much. The now-splintered furnature was sent backwards, and the three kids began to pursue the HK droid, knowing that they're nearing the duel between Senator Vedil and the other bounty hunter.
"Looks like I'll have to use lightning, then." Fiona sighed. "If you must, follow up with Housenka (Mythical Fire Flower)."
"Yeah, I know, I know." Morini griped, still unhappy about missing with that first move. That technique allows him (and other fire-throwing shinobi and Jedi) to toss multiple smaller fireballs, even controlling their strength and speed of throwing them.
Yargh left a couple more Concussion grenades in his wake as he charged full sprint towards the melee between Vector and Vedil, knowing that the three Jedi behind him would be hindered little if at all by the impediments he threw in their path.
All he needed was to finish the job and get the hell out. He and Vector could take the three others on their own time, and the other Senator was something of a non-factor, though Yargh did notice the Senator's disappearance from the room.
Yargh finally arrived in the enormous cargo bay, where he saw Vector and Vedil engaged in a pitched battle that Vector was very obviously losing. Though he remained alive due to his armor, Vector was clearly being pressed on all sides by a cackling and crackling Vedil.
Considering this took only the few split seconds Yargh needed to close the distance, and he charged into the melee, all four lightsabers whirling. Perhaps this fight could be turned in their favor even now.

Wall-jumping to avoid the concussion grenades, the two Jedi and one ninja sprinted after the HK droid, making good time until they reached the cargo bay itself. There, they saw an amazingly scary sight: Senator Vedil kicking bounty hunter ass, and with a crimson lightsaber to boot!
The threesome sensed the evil wafting off from the Honorable Senator (yeah right), and stopped pursuit to watch. For some reason, the evil seemed to resonate within Fiona, pulling out her slowly-estranging hatred for her brothers, not just for missing her Knighting ceremony, but especially for Daniel, who in her eyes, refused their mother in her time of need. A black shadow seemed to cross her heart, and a faint smirk of evil appeared on her face, but disappeared as quickly as it came. The other two were too awed (being boys) by the Senator's amazing skills and dark powers to sense Fiona's own dangerous slide towards darkness...

As the droid and new spectators came into the battle Vedil jumped back from Vector, extending his left hand the good senator sent great swathes of lightning towards his would be assassin.
Turning to face the droid, Vedil gripped and lifted his right hand. Beneath Yarghs support struts, cracks formed along the reinforced floor, then in a flash the droid and the Neutronium panelling went flying into the air.
From down the corridor a great murmur rose from the echoing halls, hundreds of Storm Troopers were marching through the corridors, blaster fire erupting at everything that was not known to be friendly. Deactivating his lightsabre Vedil laughed one last time, and concentrated on his spectators. Extending his essence through the room Vedil gripped a hold of their memories, and their souls, their lives flashing in an instant before his eyes. Pulling their most recent memories apart, fragmenting their knowledge Vedil returned back to his own mind, though leaving the girls Dark tendencies alone, he would have her remember the power of the dark side.
As the sound of the troopers drew nearer Vedil moved to check on his guards, leaving the group to wonder what just happened.
Vector thanked his armor for taking both the massive blast of electricity and cushioning the impact of smacking into the wall far outside the vessel.
He slid to the floor like a damp sponge, but was quick to return to his feet. Looking back, he saw Vedil toss Yargh like a shotput into a nearby bulkhead, hard enough to drop the droid permanently, which was no small feat.
Vector was just about to run back in and continue the fight when he heard the clomp clomp clomp of incoming soldiers.
"BASTARDS!" Vector shrieked, then brought out a Thermal Detonator and a Remote.
He toggled the button on the remote first, initiating a self-destruct sequence on one of the upgrade packages Yargh had left by the airlock. Formerly a massive Plasma Cannon, when overloaded, it would go up like a giant thermal detonator, burning a whole in the ship big enough to take out at least one of its landing supports.
He then toggled the thermal detonator in his hand and tossed it towards the landing support closest to where the approaching soldiers were coming from, timing it for a ten second timer.
As soon as the troops arrived, fireworks.
Vector bolted out of the Cargo bay the way he'd come, making his way towards the back entrance at a dead run.
Must tell Thrawn, Must tell Thrawn... Vedil's a damn Sith Lord! Shit he ain't gonna BELIEVE this... he thought as he finally broke through the rear door and bolted into the city, only seconds before a horde of stormtroopers... well... stormed their way to the door and rushed in, completely missing their intended quarry.

The large viewer flickered, then suddenly, all the images appeared. Eleven of the Grand Admirals were present, all seemingly nervous of Thrawns current disposition. ”Gentleman, why, may I ask is Chancellor Vedil still alive? Why did the bounty mission fail?”
”Admiral, we have yet to locate a suitable bounty hunter, none of the military council authorised such an attack.”
“Well we have such an attack Admirals, even as we speak senator Vedil is pushing the military reform bill through the senate, using this attack as leverage, our time is numbered gentleman, we only have another hour until our chancellor takes control of the Empire.”
“Who made the attack?”

The screens went blank one after another, until, for the first time in his life, Thrawn was alone, destitute in his position of power. Activating his communicator the enraged Admiral began to plot, but first, he had to insure his own survival. “Admiral Mavil, please join me in my conference room, have the ship set a course for the uncharted regions……..
Galactic Senate
Vedil rose as the senate chanted his name, the thunderous adoration echoing throughout the ages. Apparently, the Galaxy never learned a lesson, nor learnt ancient, but necessary history, this was much to the chancellor’s benefit. “As you all know, I convened this emergency session of the senate, to decide upon a matter that is crucial to the Empires survival. I can give you news Senators, that the Grand Admirals, who plotted to kill me, and enacted their plot hiring bounty hunters have left their posts, leaving us and the Empire they swore to defend in a strategically endangering position. We have gained, undeniable evidence from the attacking HK droids databanks, that Grand Admiral Thrawn was behind the attack. It was his own selfish delusion, to maintain his grip on our lives and our people, that led him to such a grave act. With the military leaderless, and the Empire in grave threat from outside foes, I have no choice but to assume temporary command of the military until the Military Reformation Act is passed. (which essentially gives Vedil the same power)
Only by the skill of our Jedi protectors, was I able to remain alive against the onslaught of Grand Admiral Thrawns plans, therefore, as an act of gratitude, I am commissioning the reopening of the Jedi temple, and the relocation of the newly sanctioned Jedi council. We will re enter the golden ages of the past, where the Jedi have an official role to play in our society, instead of living an existence upon a back water planet. The Galactic Empire is no more senators, we are now the Imperial Republic.
The cheers erupted from the Senate, indeed, history was repeating itself.

We thank the good Chancellor for the reopening the old Jedi Temple. However, a Sith Lord by the name of Chronos have attacked the Jedi Academy on Yavin IV, killing at least one Master and forcing a mass evacuation at this time. While it would be pleasing to return to the old Temple, we feel that for the time being, our apprentices and initiates will be placed elsewhere until we can be reasonably sure the Sith Lord has been dealt with. However, we, the Council, shall reconvene at the Temple as soon as we can. We apologize for any inconvenience, but we must presevere for the good of the Republic.

Communication from Chancellor Vedil to Jedi Council.
Master Jedi’s, surely what safer place is there than Coruscant itself, in the very centre of the Imperial Republic, a hands throw away from an entire planets garrison, and defences. It would be folly not to return to the Jedi’s ancestral home.
In grave times such as these the Republic needs to feel secure, the return of the Jedi from obscurity will surely provide a great boost of morale to the Republic.

OOC: Hawkins isn’t a senator, he is a former one, He is however a Jedi Knight, a master in all but name as he hasn’t been formerly recognized by the council. There are few Jedi who can challenge him in combat, and he is well known for his hate of the sith and any who ally with them and for very good reasons.

Another soul was reaching into the abyss of the Dark Side besides the good senator, Hawkins noticed its source instantly from Fiona. He knew the lure of the Dark side tasting its power in his quest, and seeing his friend also taste its allure. He would not allow it to happen again.
“Fiona do not use anger it leads to the dark side, to a path of hate and loneliness.” The Concern in his voice was evident, for the first time since entering the room Hawkins realizes the seriousness of the situation, it was not a mere assassination attempt, no. He felt the thoughts of the senator, the plan at work here was much more complex and dark, it scared him like nothing else has.
“VEDIL I know what you are the games end Now!” The aura of the light side glowed around Hawkins illuminating him. It was at this time that the assassin fled , but even the strongest Jedi can fall victim to an attack he doesn’t expect and that was the case here with Vedil memory wipe.
Vector meandered along the dark alleys and by-ways of Coruscant, cursing at himself.
"Find Thrawn, tell him about the Sith Senator, all will be okeydokey! WOULD HAVE HELPED IF HE'D BEEN WHERE I THOUGHT HE WOULD BE... @%$%@@$%^@!%&^%&^@#*^@% 'n shit."
All he had to show for his endless searches through the information database (including incursions into several databases that would have him dead if he were caught) was a small note with a single name.
Vindicator.
But the damn thing had left for... where the hell ever... over an hour ago. Vector's best hope, catch up to him.
Even now he was making his way to his clunky powerhouse of an assault ship, he only hoped that slicers hadn't already made the connection between him and the Fifth Horseman. Not even fake registries could stop some of those pricks...

Imperial Republic – Senate Dome
ZERO HOUR
This was perhaps Vedils greatest day, the Republic was now almost in his grasp, the votes had been tallied, and the results were favourable, but then again they had to be, no one in their right mind would continue to allow for a leaderless military and now, now the Republics fleet would be his to command. Admirals and Generals loyal to him would lead his mighty war machine, and now the Chronosian fools were falling into his trap, soon, they and their forces would crumble under his sword.
Stepping off the floating platform Vedil came to the chancellors position, looking up he spied the Chronosian senator peering at him with disgust, but that was a trivial grudge, one that Vedil could allow, for now.
Vedil looked upon the Senate with a visage of dignity, inwardly, he felt undying pity for the fools, soon now he thought, not long now. Speaking with a calm almost reassuring voice Vedil came to the platform, and the dome darkened so that all could focus on the chancellor.
“Fellow Senators and people of the Republic, we have finally come to a conclusion regarding the military reformation act, a decision that will place greater powers over the military in the hands of the people. This act, has been passed by the Senate, and will come into effect immediately.” A wave of whispering crept through the ranks of the senators, slowly increasing in volume. “This act will now, no longer permit, complete control of the military in the hands of Admirals and generals acting on our behalf, now command of the military lies upon me, decisions regarding our future which you have all elected me to do now rests upon my shoulders as a heavy burden. But, it is a burden that I carry gladly, for I know, that it is in the best interests for the Republic. My first decree will be to investigate the alien attacks upon Coruscant, with an independent inquiry, former Grand Admiral Thrawn left to many question un answered, I will endeavour to find those answers and deliver them to you all.”

A lone senate pod hovered out, pausing in air as the uncertain figure of Caius stepped forward, looking at the central platform. "The Chronosian Imperium rejects the bid to put supreme military power in yuor hands."
'he could reveal it all...' Thoughts twisted, painfully, like broken glass through his mind.
"We stand opposed on all counts, and declare the intention of the Chronosian Imperium, encompassing the systems of Chronosia and Hydran, shall henceforth withdraw from the Galactic Republic and its Senate. We declare, before this Senate, the intention to found an Independant Union of Systems, seperate from the foolishness of this...worm ridden corpse of what was once an Empire. We demand strength and find only weakness and bureaucracy. All who would stand with us, may do so now." He spat, a phlegmy mix of blood and saliva, hurling through the air. "That is our decision..."

“So where are we headed Admiral?” Malin asked curiously.
Sighing Thrawn was becoming disheartened, mainly because most of his art lay behind on Coruscant, probably being looted and put on public display, of all things! “ We are heading for outpost Zero Zero Captain.”
“Don’t you mean Admiral sir?”
“Admiral, ADMIRAL!” Thrawn exclaimed. “Admiral of what? For now captain Malin, you only a captain but the situation will change, give me six months, and I shall have my Empire back.”
“About outpost Zero Zero Admiral, I have never heard of it before, I don’t recall it ever existing.”
“And neither you should, you see Captain, I have always prepared for the worst, and prepared I have. We are heading to the location of my first victory, it is in outpost zero zero, that we shall begin to rid ourselves of this Vedil.”
A small beep sounded from the right pocket. Lifting out his communicator he flipped the red light to green. “Yes what is it?”
“Admiral, I think you should watch the Senate proceedings, it seems the Republic is breaking apart.”
“On Hologram. Frequency one four three.”

“Hmm interesting, you see Malin, our good senator has caused this war. Everyone senator knows that it was the Chronosians who attacked Coruscant, but the people are oblivious. No Vedil is causing this war, but to what ends, we are yet to become aware of.”
From the Cabin windows the streaming star lines began to falter and slowly the ship reverted back into real space.
“We have arrived.” Malin said kindly stating the obvious. Out of the window he could see a vast station, huge and dominating, and below it sat a green world, Thrawn last hope.

The Star Battleship Duel of the Fates and Admiral Pellaeon's 3rd Fleet reverted to realspace at Coruscant and formed up with the Battleship in the center as usual.
I went through the latest news, catching stuff like 'Chancellor Attacked!' and 'Military Reformation Act Passed!' among other news.
Sithspit. History really is being repeated here. There's the military act, the attack on a prominent Senate member. What's next, an new Clone Wars? I shuddered. The last one was bad enough, as told by historians. Then...CRAP! Not that again! I sighed. So, the Sith is going to try for another Jedi Purge, or it already has started with Chrono's attack. Well, only one thing to do but play it out.
"Daniel, did you get the speech about the act?" Alex asked.
"Yeah. It seems that now, all the admirals and generals might be supplanted." I said. "Pellaeon's not liking it."
"Understatement of the week. But first, we're going to have to deal with the Golan space stations hovering over our planets. Before you can declare yourself Emperor, you must ensure that the people are safe so we can secede from the Republic. That is why we have instructed the Senator to say nothing if someone does secede."
"Yeah. How many Jedi have been recalled from their missions, should we do it?" I asked.
"All of them."
"All 5,000?" I asked.
Grandpa nodded.
I slumped back. "Wow. What about the shinobi at Konoha?"
"I've talked with Naruto. They'll be ready to strike with us if we are ready."
"Ryujin, what about the King?" I asked my dragon, who's currently perched on my shoulders.
"He'll be ready." Ryujin nodded.
"Ok." I said. I pulled up a list of planets with the satellites. Tenetia, Issus, Yorkshire, Andila, Atlantis, Konoha, Kyoto, Katua, and Teyr. Nine systems. 3 stations each, each one with the power of a Super Star Destroyer. "It's a tall order. I suggest we split into teams, and go EVA, then blow them from within. Got any schematics?"
"Here." Grandpa said, pulling out a couple scans. "High-powered scans of a Golan V space station, the military has specs on each one."
"Hmm. Looks like a couple of clones do all the work...near-full automations?" I looked up with a smirk. "Excellent. We'd be able to fry them with a good EMP or virus attack. EMP being better."
Since my specialty is lightning, that's a boon for me, and my grandfather as well. He might be able to draw up a thin line of atoms from the atmosphere to induce Nova Bolt if necessary, but I like the lightning attack on the surface better.
"I could probably mess with them using alchemy." Jacob said. "Atomize or just ruin the firing mechanisms. I'd probably drain myself though, considering the size of the things."
"Good thinking, bro." I grinned. "All right. I suggest that we don't attack them now. It'll be a last resort only, since I don't think we could deal with all of them at once. They're powerful, and I think the enemy might have another trick up their sleeve if we do manage to take them out."
Alex nodded. "Good thinking. We'll do that as a last resort. For now, let's go down and open up the Temple."
"Yeah, sure." I said, still unhappy about that prospect.
-----
Soon, shuttles went down to the surface, containing the Jedi Masters, the Knights and Senior Padawans. Junior Padawans and initiates are staying on the Duel of the Fates for the time being. We are too paranoid to leave them in the Temple, considering what happened a hundred and fifty years ago.

Without warning the senate pod holding the new senator from the Farstar’s Confederacy floats quickly in front of the delegation from the Chronosian Imperium. The woman who was the new senator was the antithesis of the old one, where Hawkins was built as a mountain man with thick muscles and a scared body she was petit and. lithe, with straight blond hair, her voice sang across the senate hall very pleasing to the ear indeed.
“Senator…” Margaret Azoic stated looking towards the Chronosian Senator, “Make no mistake the Republic is in a dire time, the Imperial Navy is in disarray with the fleeing of their former leaders. Chancellor Vedil powers are only temporary until the situation stabilized at which time a system I drafted myself will be put into effect. We can not let this new Republic fall before it’s even had a chance to be established!” She said with emotion before continuing slowly
“If your systems succeed from this duly elected and democratic body you are throwing away the blood of patriots who resisted the Empire for so long. I do recognize that your own nation had a taste for the blood of rebels we need not be opponents any longer. Stand with us! We must remain united together to face the multitude of dangers that abound in the shadows.”
Then in a low pained voice she finished her speech,
“My nation is sick of war we have fought too hard and for too long, we shall not oppose the succession of the Chronosian Imperium or its allies so long as they do not make any attack against the republic. We do not need another Clone War, and my nation and this Republic surely should not be the ones to start it!”

Senator Keith Kieran floated his pod over to the others. "We, the Imperial Republic of Coreworlds do have some problems with the Military Reformation Act as well, especially with respect to home-grown military fleets. However, I must concur with the Senator from The Wick on this issue. We cannot start another galactic civil war! It took what, 30 years for the last one to end? No, my fellow senators, I do not want that to happen, and neither do you! We also will not oppose the Chronosian or their allies' secession as long as they do no harm to the Republic!"
Vector's return to the Fifth Horseman should have felt more exhultant. But his first failure in... thirteen years now... huh... made Poofy's ecstatic howls somewhat more depressing.
Until he had Yargh recommissioned with the memory storage module he'd grabbed before he left the droid to fight the three nin-jedi, he'd have to feed the durn fuzzball. BUGGER!
Judging from history lessons and all the other crap he'd gleaned after so many years of killing people with a grin and a grenade, the guy he was looking for, being one of them "Chiss" thingiemajiggerbobs, held essentially sole dominion over the Unknown regions, so it came to reason that binky the Admiral would likely choose that as a hidey hole until the bad vibes rolled away.
That, and he figured Thrawn would likely be gunning for him after his oopsie, so Vector decided that he would just point his ship in the general direction of the Unknown regions and wander around for a while. Thrawn would be bound to notice such a conspicuous fellow wandering around the various planets in that area.
Departing the planet was easier than he expected... evidently ground control had somehow gotten the idea that he was a PixieStix Merchant making a run to Mon Calamari. Vector left the system with a mischievous grin on his face...
And headed towards the Unknown regions.

A ship enters the orbit of Coruscant, and also descends towards the Temple. With the return of the Republic and the Grand Admiral fleeing, Jedi Master Jennifer Masaki, mother of Daniel, Fiona, Taylor and Jacob (in that order) felt safe enough to return to the capital planet. She was pleased to see that democracy has been restored, but she is growing concerned about her daughter.
Her ship touched down in a roar of repulsarlifts, and she stepped off.
"Mom!" "Mother!" Like little children, Taylor and Jacob ran and hugged their mother.
"My, you two have certainly grown stronger!" Jennifer beamed, sensing their powers. Then she noticed two powerful presences in the Force: Me and Fiona, estranged like never before. Mom was worried about that, but will deal with it later.
"Mother!" Fiona cried, burying her face into her mother's chest like she was 3 herself.
"Mom..." Shame started to burn on me, and I couldn't bear to look in her eyes. Emotions blossomed within me: Love, sadness, guilt. I started to turn away, hot angry tears burning my cheeks.
Ryujin crooned me. "She is your mother, Daniel..."
"Daniel, my son." Mom called to me after she finished embracing her other three children. "Come to me. It's all right."
Damn, I feel like a little brat! I wiped my tears away. "How could it be all right? I-I made you leave when you needed me!" *Sniffle*
"Shh." Mom knows what she needs to do. "Daniel, no matter what happened before, no matter what happens next, you'll always be my son. Never forget..."
I couldn't hold the tears in any longer, letting out the floodgates, and cried in her arms like a child. "Mom!"
It was painful to release it all, but in the end, I was feeling better.
-----
Some hours later, after all the tears have dried.
"You saw your father in a dream?" Mom asked, after everyone has convened in a grand council of sorts.
I nodded. "He told me that I needed to declare myself Emperor sooner or later."
"Hmph. Just like him." Mom pursed her lips. "He's always been looking out for you."
"Yeah." I know that.
"So what are you going to do?" Naruto asked.
"Well, first, I obviously need to build support for the movement." I sighed. "I've got the President's support, but I still need the people's vote."
"Hmm. That shouldn't be difficult. There's still a popular movement for the currently-empty throne. The problem is..." Grandpa noted.
I nodded. "What the Big Guys would think. Now, I can't decide if I should stay just in Coreworlds, or set my sights a little higher."
I looked out at the distant cityscape, towards the Imperial Palace.
Mom widened her eyes in surprise. "Are you sure? You're talking about the entire galaxy, you know."
"Yeah. I think...I know something has to be done here. There's been so many changes in government on Coruscant, that it has to be made...steadier." I said. "A strong yet fair Emperor and his cabinet as the executive. The Senate as the legistlative, and the Supreme Court for the judicial. Like what used to be on Juria, but larger."
Mom sensed a 'but' coming. "Go on..."
"I need the right moment to strike once I build up enough support." I said, getting up to pace. "I need military support, political support, economic support, and diplomatic support. Grandpa can do the diplomatic-political support, he's as good as his face-sake Count Dooku in those matters. You can do the other half, the actual political support as a former Senator. Military support ought to be the easiest, with Rommel and Pellaeon working in that department, as well as the Jedi. Economic support, now there's the sticking point..."
"That usually goes under political support." Mom pointed out. "Business is sometimes politics after all."
"Yeah, I guess you're right." I said. I turned to the others. "What do you guys think?"
OOC: Yes, that includes Kelvin.
"The Godulans have always maintained a healthy distrust of the Galactic Empire, be it a republic or militaristic dictatorship. You will not see Godulan representatives beyond my own token presence anywhere near Coruscant.
"They wish the Empire gone. Pure and simple. They care not who is in power over the Empire. They will not stop until all that remains is fading memories and dust."
Kelvin turned to Daniel.
"And the Godulans have that thing against the nation of Corneliu as well."
Looking at the gathered Jedi around him, sweeping his gaze over them all, he continued.
"Do not underestimate them. They have many allies. Many resources. They are always learning. Always building. Always preparing. How they can manage a Military Industrial complex of their scale while maintaining such vibrant secondary industries is beyond even me, but somehow the Archons manage it, and they manage it well.
"Now, as for reforming the Empire... the best advice I could offer? Do not ask the Godulans to do it."

High Admiral Carter stared onto his bridge. Normally one on a bridge would converse with his crew mates, and sometimes joke with the captain/admiral. However that wasn't aloud on the Vengeance Star Destroyer, Dark Phoenix because every single god dam crew member was either a clone or a droid. Only the high command was humans, and even at that some were clones! Admiral Carter never liked the idea of a clone army or a droid army, but they worked as much as he hates to admit it.
Suddenly warning klaxons flared as Hyperspace exit was detected. The clones were in action instantly with reports, and sending the proper identify commands. Carter grunted, Stupid Clones. The Uncharted regions are uncharted for a reason. The Empire could have at any time mapped, and categorised anything and everything hidden in the void, however, sometime it is best to keep secrets hidden.
The Super Star Destroyer Hellfire finally arrived at it’s destination. The vast ship dominating the space scape instantly assumed an Imperial presence, it’s aura beamed discipline, and deadly skill to those that viewed the black hull.
Unlike most of the Imperial fleet the Hellfire is a Super Star Destroyer that was built using earlier methods, back in the days when the emperor commanded that a fleet of special abilities be constructed, and so certain ships were gifted with superior armour, crews, and fighters, with the Hellfire being the last of it’s kind.
As the ship glided back into real space Grand Admiral Thrawn sent out a communication. ”Imperial stations double zero, put down your shields and weapons, and prepare to receive a shuttle. Conformation code Alpha Thrawn Blue.” The transmission, though short and sweet would signal the arrival of Thrawn back into the Uncharted Region. ”Captain Malin, you are in command, I will be on the planets surface. Leaving the bridge is quick March Thrawn was in no mood to explain his decisions and choices.

"Grand Overlord on deck!"

Imperial Palace, 5 Days later. Galactic Statement
“My people, friends, and followers, today I come to you with a dark hand of despair. Our once grand ally Chronosia, left our glorious republic under dubious circumstances, but I now tell you, those circumstances are no longer clouded. The civilian investigation upon the Coruscant attack has left us all aware of the possibility, though remote, that an ally could have committed this fiendish attack, indeed, the report has concluded, that Chornosia committed these atrocities.
After searching the Imperial records, the ships used were found to be Chronosian, the DNA of fallen soldiers, match with Chronosian records, even the weapons and blades were Chronosian, a fact that the military kept hidden form us. So there fore we must conclude that it was not the nation of Klington that attacked Coruscant, but it was in fact our former ally, Chronosia. Will we leave Klingotnian space and soil? No, we shall not. Though they did not commit this heinous crime, they had still declared open war, and contested and sought our destruction as much as the Chronosians did, though much more openly. So, what happens now? We must seek retribution for those killed, we must seek justice for our fallen, and if, if the Chronosian Emperor does not surrender, we will be in a state of war.”

Alright Jordaxia, time to see if your Missile Systems do work...
"Activate Counter-Measures and Flak Cannons! Also divert two Shivan Beam Cannons to sweep through the missiles!"
"Sir!"
___________________________________________________________________________________
All over the Colossus, Flak Cannons emerged out of their protective doors. Loading up, they lit up spectacularly, and sent hundreds of volatile 'balls into space' (per Cannon). After a few seconds, they exploded (proximity to missiles), and chunks of super fast debris started pummeling the missiles, making them detonate.
All over the ship, the hull opened up, revealing little tubes. After a few seconds, hundreds of spiky proximity mines (counter-measures) dropped into space, and went hurtling toward the missiles, making a wall of explosions, frying alot of the missiles. Two Shivan Beam Cannons also sweeped through the large groups of missiles, until something very odd happend...
A piece of flak impacted on a larger missile. It shuddered for a second, before detonating. Then something odd happened. All the counter-measures, Flak, and even one of the beams were pulled into a dark gap in space. Then Slavik realized.
"It's a Gravity Missile! Stop your firing, and get us out of here! Now's our chance to escape!"
The rest of the missiles (including the other Gravity missiles) detonated inside the black hole, making it expand to a size that'd cut off the Coreworldian and the GE Forces long enough for the Colossus to escape.
A few minutes after, The Colossus left the system. It's Subspace Generators powered up, and the Colossus was now on course for the Chronosian Homeworld...

Hustling up to the bridge, he saw what appeared to be an imperial transport making its way through the general area. I can also inform you that the deployment of the Death Star has just been authorised, it is to guard the Hydian hyperspace lanes from enemy assaults. We are also expecting major enemy offensives towards Kaminos, though the existence of Wayland is still secret. The second fleet has been deployed to defend the water world.”

The Unknown Regions were vast and not well explored. The Empire would claim that they could have explored it at will for they were willing too only decided not to with Palatine’s wish to keep the area secret. Another factor was the ever dangerous Chiss whose elite warriors would have made short work of any infringing Imperial Fleet just like they did the Jedi Outward Bound mission. As a result the area was used to hide in and several dozen systems were home to Rebel Alliance bases, Vector had unknowingly travel into one of those systems and the shuttle he assumed was Imperial was anything but.
The shuttle was a weekly supply shuttle carrying the few amenities a small rebellion base would need to sustain itself, it slowly made its way to the small moon base that orbited a rather lifeless planetoid in the rather lifeless system.
Vector’s first sign of trouble would have been the shrill alarm of his anti-missile system as 4 venerable Y-wings rose from the thin atmosphere of the moon locking onto his craft at range with their dual proton torpedo launchers.
---
“Unidentified Craft, I am Commander Biggs Antilles.” Biggs was the descendent of the legend Wedge Antilles and shared his skill of piloting. “You have entered Rebel Alliance space…cease all acceleration and power down your shields and weapons, prepare to be boarded, this is your final warning.”
After years of combating the Empire the R.A did not take kindly to craft sneaking into their system. This voice came not from the Y-Wings but from two battle scared E-wings that emerged from the asteroid field behind Vector’s craft boxing it in.
OOC: Don’t need to fight the rebels despise the Sith even more then would Thrawn…much more, thought they wouldnt like bounty hunter much either i suppose.
More proximity alarms brought Vector out of his drunken stupor and he gingerly took in the information showing up on his radar.
"Buh... Buh... BASTARDS."
The last thing he wanted was some rebel doinks walking onto his ship. God only knew what they would think when they found enough arms and armor to stage a one-man war against an entire planet. And Poofy wouldn't like strangers appearing on the ship either. Not even Vector could hold back the Cyberdog from making some more of its own Soylent Chow.
Vector first made certain that the automated weapons systems, about seven Quad Laser turrets, two actual turbolaser turrets, and four missile tubes, plus the typical assortment of defensive countermeasures, were fully prepped and ready to blow shit up at the touch of a button. Then he attempted to determine the nearest star system to book it towards. THEN he toggled the comms.
"This is Fifth Horseman, don't try figuring out what type of ship it is, I lost track myself a few years ago. My name is Vector. Don't ask what my last name is, I lost track myself a few years ago.
"All that you need to know is the following: ONE. You are not the rebels I am looking for. I didn't even know you people were HERE.
"TWO. Your ships are presently under the open sights of enough firepower to give a decently armed frigate a run for its money. So please don't take this the wrong way when I say I am GOING to meander out of this system and look around elsewhere, as if YOU are here, then the people I AM looking for, are most definitely not, and you are, of course, welcome to try and stop me.
"THREE. Would you happen to know of any imperial troop movements in the area? I'm kinda looking for a guy... he's kinda expecting me, and not cuz we're friends. I have some information that he could REALLY use, not about you, I assure you... since you have no regular contact with imperials beyond shooting at them, I suppose it would help any possible chance that you won't shoot at ME to know that the person I was hired to assassinate two weeks ago, by the fellow I need to reach, turned out to be a Sith Lord. A whopper of a Sith Lord..."

In the blinding flash of ships translating from the alpha wall of Hyperspace the twenty-six ships of BatRon 17 entered the capital system of the “New Republic”.
Rear Admiral Vincent Catelli had never before seen the city-planet that was called the Imperial Center. It was a black planet with trillions of specks of yellow representing the urban structures that cover the planets surface. The amount of orbital traffic literally flooded the Tactical repeater it was a grand system, one that was drastically different then his home world of Sifer, the farming world that fed the Farstar’s cluster.
His unit was fairly substantial, and more reinforcements were on their way to the staging area that was rapidly being established in this system. It was the result of the call to arms issued by the Chancellor, and when the president of the Farstars was asked by the chancellor himself if she would supply troops to defend the exposed republic she responded that:
“The Farstars’ Cluster would do its full duty”
That was why his twenty-six ships were in the system, his BatRon was centered around a Squadron(8) of Pod Dreadnaughts each twice the length and mass of an Imperator class Star Destroyer. A Lance (4) Pod Battle Cruisers accompanied the ships of the wall as a screen, these battle cruisers having the same missile capabilities as a super dreadnaught if not the endurance. A Division (2or3) of CLACs (carriers) and 12 lighter screen units mostly destroyers completed the composition of the BatRon.
He left orders with his chief of staff to contact the Republic fleet as it existed to request Resupply of foodstuffs, shore leave, spare parts and all the other tasks a visiting fleet did in a friendly port. The Admiral himself headed down to the planet he was late for a meeting.
---
"Mr. Vector this is the unknown regions, the Imps don’t dare hang out here, that’s what the Imperial Ruminant up by Bastion is for now that the Republic's been reestablished by Senator Vedil. The only Imp that would dare hide out here is Thrawn and I am sure he is smack dab in the middle of Chiss territory. Mind you that no human or humanoid without blue skin and red eyes who goes in their territory ever comes out alive...Again I ask you to stand to for inspection, a Jedi can scan your thoughts to find out if you speak the truth about not revealing this location, baring that we can not allow you to leave this system."
The Y-wings stayed well outside laser range keeping the ship targeted with their torpedoes, the E-wings did likewise giving the mysterious ship a wide berth.
"A jedi can also scan my truthfulness from outside the ship, barring he doesn't miss me and scan my dog.
"And yeah, Thrawn's the one I'm looking for, and oddly enough, with that mention of the 'Honorable' >SNICKER< Senator Vedil, ya just named the Sith Lord too! Small world, huh?"
Vector's ship was a fast bastard, well armored too. He brought defensive countermeasures into high alert (He knew what Y-wings were good for, he'd chopped a few to pieces in his own time)...
"Y'all just think your worries have all gone away now that he's taken over? HUR HUR HUR! Soon as that doink took over it was war."
He brought on-line a pair of seismic torpedoes, with more waiting on the wings, he had the feeling these guys weren't gonna believe him.

R. Admiral Catelli descended the ramp of his shuttle dressed in the green on grey uniform of the Confederate Navy, his black cape fluttering in the wind behind him on his head he wore the high brimmed service cover of the navy. On his left was a Jedi in a the typical flowing brown robe, his hood was down and his face was that of a young man of 19 with bright green eyes, he was Jason Caller who was concentrating in the expertise of a Jedi councilor whom concentrated on understanding the force, unlike his master Hawkins who was known for his less subtle approaches. Caller felt that he would be seeing his old master quite soon. His thoughts made it so as another robe man appeared in the doorway to the nearby base, he was quite Caller’s opposite. He was a WIckian and built with the genetics that entailed a man who stood 6’3” his scared weathered body crisscrossed with scars, he was quite imposing in his worn well used black robe.
“Admiral, Jason I am glad to see you’ve arrived. Senator Vedil is holding a council of war we would do well to attend.” His student nodded his respect to his master. And fell in behind his two betters as they walked to the meeting. En-route the admiral told Hawkins.
“General, I need to inform you that your commission is being reactivated and you are to assume overall command of our mobile units in the field that are to oppose the succession of the Imperium and their allies. This will include my own BatRon and the others en-route to the capital, they will comprise the 8th Fleet.” He stated handing the dispatch the Jedi. “These are perilous times and the President thought we would need your leadership, Sir.”
“I see admiral if that is the wish of Madam President I will obey her order, she is wise as ever.” At this remark caller caught himself with a laugh as he was perhaps the only other person in the world that knew Hawkins and the Madam were having an affair with one another since Engelmann’s fall. It was not an affair between then and their spouses as both were widow and widower, but rather an affair between them and their professions, which was more important to each then themselves.
With that they entered the senators briefing room and were greeted by the Masaki’s and Chancellor Vedil.

The vessel of Outer Heaven tore into real space at the edge of the Chronosian System, close enough for sensors to blink into life; alerting the Adeptus Mechanicus of a foreign presence. As their Skitarii warriors moved into battle stations, and the great warp cannons and missle silos readied; the Mechanicus War Vessel 'Imperator's Will' paused, training all sights on this vessel.
"Unknown Vessel, provide identification...This is a time of War. The Chronosian borders are closed. Identify yourselves, or face the wrath of the Machine God."
------------------------
Meanwhile, at the edge of the Hydran system, a snow covered world sat, solitary, wreathed in fine gases and light, alone, save for the activity about it.
Great vessels moved through the void, great warships of transports of the Imperium; while on its surface, the Imperial Guard regiments of that world trained, accompanied by the Marines of the Angelus Invictus; were set about protecting the population of this world, one of the newly conquered lands of the vast Imperium...

Imperial Intelligence, 6 Days Second Clone War.
“Commander, we have something, it’s a high frequency subspace transmission eminating from Chronosian territory.”
“Odd.. I thought they used the holo network like us?”
“They do Admiral, they also use secure holo platforms for the high ranking transmission, in penetrable to hackers unless they actually compromise a platform. This transmission is not Chronosian.”
“Whose is it then?”
“The transmission and frequency range is typical of the Outer Heaven dogs commander, it would appear that Chronosia and Outer Heaven have already begun an alliance.”
“Indeed, both are traitors to the Emp… ehh Republic Commander, I think these findings should be passed up the chain of command.”
“Agreed.”
Senate Dome
As the Doomingsland senator made his bid for freedom he would pass unchallenged until he reached his ship, where a sizeable force flanked and awaited him. Faced with superbattle droids, clone troopers and Droidikas, the Doomingsland senator would have one option, and that was surrender, if not, he would be taken alive.
Chancellor Vedils Office
As dignitaries came into his office from the Farstar colony Vedil watched with pleasure as they all sided with the Republic. “Gentleman, we are faced with great trials, and if necessary I will bring the full weight of our allies down upon the separatist threat.” A aide walked into the room with a data pad marked Most Secret. Lifting it he read the brief memo. “It appears that the traitors and scoundrels of Outer Heaven are allying with the separatists, not unexpected of course. So what do you all propose, we must begin a centralised effort before the separatists invade.”
Vector wheeled his ship around and pointed it towards what his navicomp said was Chiss space. This comm silence had gone on for several minutes now. Either they were sitting there yammering at each other in sign language, had fallen asleep, or the shock of the revelation had given all of them a simultaneous heart attack.

”Of course Master Jedi, we must begin the strengthening the forward defensives if we are to remain on the upper hand during this war. I have commissioned the cloning facilities of Wayland and Kaminos, to begin growing a sizeable force for the future offensive into separatist space.
The military, and I’m sure you shall like this Master Masaki, has just requested the upgrading of all Golan platforms by one level, to assist in the defence against more unnatural forces. We have some magic wielders currently placing wards and defences upon all major military stations including the ones above Tenetia and other Coreworld planets. Though these stations were perhaps used for an aggressive approach in more untrusting times, they will now serve as a major defence for your worlds and systems.
"Why, thank you, Chancellor!" I smiled. "Could give any enemy 'special forces' much trouble."
That isn't good. Magic is hard enough to counter as it is, as I know very well. I'll have to consult the resident wizards and Master Elendil, but I've agreed to shelve the plan, and for good reason, too.
[/i]Vedil poured a glass of water, and looked into Daniels eyes. “I am somewhat surprised Master Jedi, that you have split up the Jedi, especially in times of war, is it wise to separate the youngsters from there more adept guardians?”
"Well, that's because we don't want another incident like what just happened at the Academy." I shrugged. And with Palpatine long ago. "It's just in the interest of survival."
The kids would be sent to Konoha for the time being. They have the Ninja Academy, which could be expanded to accomodate the littlest Jedi.

"Good idea." I nodded. Soon enough, Admiral Rommel and two chess captain aides was escorted in, saluted, then sat down with the Chancellor (or military aides) with folders marked "Top Secret", containing possible plans, defensive and counteroffensive, maps included.

"Well, we could go with the old adage that a good defense is an offensive..." The Admiral mused, turning on a holomap of the galaxy, with major warring factions and fleets labeled. "As perhaps the more powerful foe, Outer Heaven will require a concerted effort to defeat. As we've just seen, their most powerful ship is the Colossus, and will be a primary target whenever possible. We will have the Sovereign II battlefleet hunt down and destroy it. Chronosia, however, is the more dangerous foe, with their Chaos forces."
"Research into Chaos indicate that there are certain 'warp gates' that are used by their side to send forth demonic forces and get aid from them. Should we manage to close them, we can weaken their demon forces." The Admiral said. "Unfortunately, most of the warp gates are inside Chronosian space, so we'll have to go on the offensive to close them. Do you have comments so far, Chancellor?"

Senate Landing Pad
"Bwahahahahahaha! You fools have no idea with whom you trifle..." he muttered, throwing off his senatorial robes and taking off his undershirt. He wasn't going to be taken alive. If it's one thing the Imperials should have learned from fighting along side, it was that they ALWAYS fight to the death.
Manius, who was, naturaly, a gifted warrior in addition to a senator, wished to draw as much blood as possible before he died...in a bright cloud of fire and brimstone.
"Whhaaarrrrgghhhhhhhhh!!!!!" he yelled as he kicked off from the ground, quickly propeling him forty feet straight into the formation of clones and droids. He had managed to land behind a Destroyer Droid, right in its blind spot, and grabbed it, hurling it into a group of clones, knocking them off the platform. He then quickly turned to a clone that had tried to sneak on him, and in a quick, brutal motion, impaled the clone right though his armor using only his fist. He then used him as a shield, absorbing blaster rounds and leaping through the air. He tossed his human shield off of the platform. He then turned, kicking a clone off of the platform and siezing his rifle. Using that as a club, he smashed a few of them and blasted a few others before tossing it like a javelin, knocking over another destroyer. He then doged a few rounds and grabbed a nearby super battle droid. Ripping its arms off, he used both as weapons, fireing the rockets and blasters at all in sight. However, by that time he'd been totaly surrounded on all sides by clones and droidecas. "Well? What are you waiting for? Shoot me!"
He saw a blue stun beam coming straight at his head when he'd said that...
"Hahahahaha!"
BLAAAABLOOOOOOSH
Another thing the Imperials hadn't taken into account was the fact that Doomans had a sort of natural self destruct system incorporated into their pysiology. The resulting explosion completely encompassed the landing pad, literaly vaporizing it along with anything that was on it (including the ship), and leaving a acidic residue all over the general area.

In Orbit over Chronosia Prime
The mighty vessel Doomgiver, flagship of the Dooman fleet, sat in orbit of the demon world of Chronosia Prime. The vessel fit right it, too, what with the dark aura and the firey outer layer that surrounded it. It carried a very precious cargo, as well...
For deep within the confines of the demented machine sat the First One. Also called the Emperor. He sat upon a throne of skulls in a massive, firey chamber. Along the sides of the great hall stood huge statues holding massive torches, along with an entire legion of his minions. From the cielings hung the fresh corpses of those who had refused to convert to the True Race. In the dark stone floor was carved foul runes, running with blood from the bodies. A massive chandelier of bones and severed heads hung from the center of the room.
The Emperor was a massive beast. He stood at roughly fifty feet tall, and was absolutely huge. He was the first Dooman ever conceived. He was perfect. He'd never had to evolve. His massive, angular head with its firey red eyes didn't remotely resemble a human one. It looked similar to that of canine, but more reptilian. He had several massive fangs hanging from his jaw. His arms were humongous, his hands alone being roughly the size of a man. His grey, scale-like skin, running red with blood from slain humans, was probably the thing that showed he was Dooman. Other than that, he was more like a demon. Finnaly, he spoke, completely consuming the massive chamber in his twisted voice,
"Open a channel to the Demon Emperor..."

“This is Chronosian space there is on average.a dozen planets in each system. Hydran is heavily industrialised and militarised, and Chronosia itself is heavily defended, most notably around Chronosia Prime, II and III; III is a chapter world of the Angelus Invictus; II is an Adeptus Mechanicus world. We should begin a campaign of isolation on their systems. I propose, that instead of engaging in costly ground assaults and penetration of their home system, that we surround them and launch Faster than light inhibitor probes in constant stream. We can cloak them, and essentially prevent the Chronosians from mounting an effective attack upon us. We can programme the probes at will and maintain a barrier of approximately two light years with relative ease. The Empire was working on the probes in a classified installation on Endor, however in light of the facilities destruction, research was set back five years.
We must also begin to mount skirmishes upon the Doomingsland border, I was hoping to rely on the Farstar fleet for such an event. We all know of your peoples tenacity against overwhelming odds.
However the mainstay of the Republic fleet cannot get engaged in major conflicts, it must be used for defensive initiatives. We have a former Grand Admiral running around the Galaxy with a super star destroyer. Outer Heaven is an unknown factor, though we can hit their space relatively quickly if the need arises, but we believe in the event of the fall of Chronosia the separatist movement will dissolve. Most worlds in the Republic have planetary shielding, meaning ground combat will be necessary if any worlds are to be taken. Coruscant, and other major worlds can hold for two months without necessary supplies.”
The Chancellor coughed a little, giving room for other dignitaries and generals to speak.
Vector watched as the hyperspace corridor zipped by like an anime action scene. The view never ceased to mesmerize him. In the many years he had spent as being a very very very very very deadly wanderer, he had never gotten tired of watching the ship move through hyperspace.
The rebel fighters from earlier had put up no pursuit to his rather blunt departure, and he chuckled to himself at the thought of those twits still sitting there in the asteroid field chewing on what he had just told them.
Suddenly, the stars blinked back into normalcy as the ship dropped out of hyperspace, and several gravity well alarms beeped throughout the ship. Vector brought up shields, weapons, the typical stuff, and started scanning all of his sensor apparatus. Some jackoff had ganked him, and he could only hope it was Imperials under Thrawn...

“Chancellor I was just informed that Battle Division Drekker is commencing a raid on the Ice world in the Hydran System as we speak, They will go in and hit the enemy hard and pick up everything they on their sensors before they withdrawal. Commodore Drekker has orders to keep the system busy for the next few weeks, he is very capable and knows how to exploit his initiative.” The Rear Admiral stated with a nod form General Hawkins, he continued.
“My own BatRon will soon be joined by a half dozen others, the Cluster forces are going to be thinned considerably, but we will have a considerable fleet here in the capital as well as some flotilla heading to support Drekker and the cloning center in Kaminos, are enemy is smart they will know where to hit us.” He paused for a monments as Hawkins now spoke,
“I suspect these slaves of chaos will attempt to confuse us of their true intentions, they will launch faints on several maybe dozens of Republic systems attempting to draw our fleets to them, these maybe Coreworlds not just those on the Rim we must not be fooled, such systems will be on their own, they will hit Kaminos, the droid planet, Kaut and Byss perhaps, even Hoth. I think we can all agree on that. We should send out our fleets to be ready to repel attacks on these production centers, divide the Fleet into two or three quick reaction forces…we all know their ultimate target is the capital but they need to take out those centers first, besides the minefields should hold them up here for a month at least when it is activated.”
It pained Hawkins to suggest that many worlds be responsible for their own defense but the Farstars were similarly exposed, it was a risk and people would die as a result, but the Republican Fleet and its allies were overextended and still in a transitional phase, they needed time more then anything…
He felt something stirring within him that he couldn’t put his finger on he felt uneasy he couldn’t explain it…

Hydran System
The dozen ships that compromised his BatDiv were coasting into the Hydran system under a mere 140 gravities, it was the highest acceleration they could maintain and be effectively invisible to the sensor array on the fringe of the Hydran system and so far its worked, no enemy patrol even headed remotely in their direction. His taskforce was a carrier group specifically designed for this kind of mission. His two CLACs were supported by a Lance of BC(p)s that acted as the forces gunslingers along with a screen of destroyers cruisers.
He looked at the tactical repeater it displayed several orbital installations around the Ice Planet as naval targets (Perhaps a ya can tell me what’s in orbit or whether its facilities or ships, just generally..) the information was gathered by two Recon drones sent in system under ECM.

"Hammer Wing this is the CAG, sensors are detecting the enemy is deploying their active defenses they've seen us or the battle wagons, plan Alpha is a go, Happy hunting." The CAG stated as his bomber wing light their drives to their maximum military acceleration of over 810 gravities, hoping that the enemy would be surprised to see them. A million KMs from the orbital base the 300 LACs launched their first missiles over half were launched at one of the enemy battle ships the remainder at the smaller vessels gathered nearby.
A LAC missile launcher is essential a "revolver" roughly amidships on the sleek craft. Its capacity is six missiles and can fire them in volleys one second apart. Each missile is ten meters in length the ones shot at the battleship and the smaller escort vessels were "laser-heads" each armed with a powerful laser that would detonate roughly 4,000 km from a target pelting it with its deadly beams, those that hit the base would be contact nukes (self explanatory hehe). Scattered throughout the wave of missiles would be Dragon's Teeth, essentially a missile that could not kill it was instead a dedicated EW platform that would make the enemy sensor's think there are 12 missiles where there is really only one.
After the missiles hit the LACs would close and hit the enemy with energy weapons before they withdrew. It was a lightning raid, hit hard and get out, and the CAG knew his men were good at such things.

“Command, we have an intruder in sector two, recommend we begin standard cleansing operations.”
“Permission Granted fifty two, but try to leave some bio residue for the scanner droids, we do like to know what race we incinerate.”
“I’ll do my best command. Fifty two out.”
As the unknown ship penetrated Chiss space, crewman Tealla was the first to react, swerving in behind the plotted course of the intruder, she just made it into whatever class of ship it was ions trail. Staying reasonably close she laughed, as it raised shields and charged weapons expecting a fight.
“Hmm, an arrogant one, doesn’t even think to check his blind spot oh well. WEAPONS HOT.”
As the claw fighter charged its weapons Vector oblivious to anything, would detect the great smash onto his read shields, as an apparent phantom made its move. From port and starboard additional fighters screamed in from just outside sensor range, their cannons firing blue bolts in perfect unison, and all without a friendly hello.
------------------------------------------------------
Grand Admiral Thrawn was quick to depart the Hellfire, leaving his trusted second Captain Malin in command of the super capital ship. His shuttle quickly sifted through the void making its way towards the lead Star Destroyer awaiting the Chiss genius. In little over twenty minutes Thrawn was now aboard his destination, the shuttle ramp lowering, the steam being excreted, all served to add to the mystery. Walking down the ramp quickly, escorted by two rather large Super battledroids the Grand Admiral was in very little mood for diplomacy, but, needs must.
Fortunately, Vector HAD thought that his Blindspot would be a good place to hit. Knowing as much as he did about battle in general, and also knowing that the Chiss were some of the best. Tough and Disciplined, one could still predict their actions somewhat.
You could predict that they would come from the worst direction possible.
Vector had made certain to put an external sensor emplacement well beyond the Fifth Horseman's primary thrusters, giving him at least a decent idea of what was going on in his blind spot, much good his radar did him, anyway.
He was quick to see movement far off, and brought his prodigious shields to bear, "Covering his ass" as it were.
As he brought the weapons into play again, he cursed to himself about the lack of native hospitality, and toggled the comms button.
OY! I SEE YOU BACK THERE! I'm looking for somebody and I think I'm expected. If y'all would just be nice and maybe... back off at least... or I dunno... take me to your leader? That'd be just greaaaaat...

The rest of the fighters now opened up on the intruder each one aiming for the shield generators.
“If you don’t, I’m afraid that well, we’ll take you apart anyway.”
----------------------------------------
The Grand Admiral saluted back in traditional military format. “I am here, Admiral, to exact payment of your worlds debt, you will all fight for me and my Empire. I have put honour in your worlds mentality, you shall honour your debt.”
Moving ahead without the High Admiral authorisation, Thrawn made his way towards the bridge, closely followed by his subordinate.
“I will need Admiral, supplies for my vessel, my crew will be getting hungry, a full military roster, I trust you have been building the droids and ships which I gave the specifications for? I hope so.” Handing over a data pad Thrawn handed the Admiral specifications for the Superbattledroid. “These should go into production at once. He knew his master well after all he was the one who pulled him out of the slums of Exartha, he owed him much and respected him even more. He searched the force to locate his master presence but failed, the only way that was possible was for him to be masking his presence somehow, but why do that here in the temple?
And so he headed to the one person he knew maybe able to help, Jennifer Masaki who was in the gardens. He saw her there teaching a young padawan…Darrel or David or something like that he thought his name was. Caller spared a moment of concern, his words maybe inappropriate to say around a padawan who may not be ready to hear them, but he couldn't wait.
He bowed his respect to Jennifer,
"Master Masaki I am concerned for Master Hawkins, he fears that the this war is greater then the separatists threat, that a Sith Lord is at work and hides himself from our search, its seemed to consume him and I can not locate him…You know how he is about the Sith Master it’s a source that compels the darkened areas of his heart.” Those who knew Hawkins knew of the pains that the Sith inflicted upon his soul, how they took all he loved in the world once, there was no time when one is more prone to fall to the dark side than then.

Then he saw the first of them, a young looking Acolyte just exiting the garden and the fool was headed directly toward him...
---
Padawan Davis saw the a Master come towards him quickly, he knew who it was for many padawans talked of the hulking Master who wore the ragged robes said to be one of the best weapon masters. He heard that he even dueled Daniel Masaki once what a sight that must have been!
He bowed his respect to the master...
---
Hawkins saw the electricity build up to coherency on the sith’s hands he was launching his attack was he ? The fool wouldn’t never get the chance, Hawkins waved his hand at the sith hurling a force wall at the sith, whose body was thrown violently backwards back into the garden he landed hard and rolled a goodly distance into the gardens he was knocked unconscious perhaps broke a few ribs, Hawkins did not take it easy on sith.
What Hawkins saw horrified him as he entered the gardens, Jennifer Masaki lied in the fountain the waters running red with her blood, a sith lord and his knight stood over her lifeless body.
"NOOOOOOO!" Hawkins yelled with a fury few have survived hearing as he pulled his lightsaber from his robe igniting it with a flourish.
"You murderous Sith shall harm the Jedi and my friends no longer" Hawkins said as he began to run towards them like a raging rancor...
Comms went dead on Fifth Horseman and at that point, the only sign of communication the dreadnought could detect was an external video feed from the side of the ship facing Vector's vessel.
On the feed, one could plainly see Vector in the cockpit, with a sour expression, one hand out, and flipping the camera the bird.
He said one word, that while not transmitted on the comms channel, could be plainly made out through the video feed.
"Assholes."

As the ship moved into the docking bay the Chiss quickly deployed a dampening field. Fifty Two quickly overtook the stricken craft and docked on her personal landing padin the overcrowded hanger. All over the docking bay, shield corridors had been established, protecting the troops from any self defence fire form the impounded vessel, but from above Vector should become afraid of the rather large crane above his ship.
On the speakers the Chiss gave him one chance to exit his ship, without major damage.
“Unknown Intruder, you have ten seconds to exit your ship, this is your only warning.”
Fifty two walked up to the command position, noticing the control panel had a clearly labelled switch, on and off. Pretending to stumble she fell and hit the on button. “Woops, now what have I gone and done.” [/dramatic pose]
From the roof of the cargo bay the automated laser began to function, slowly cutting its way over the cockpit, the Chiss were going to board Vectors craft in the most uncanny way ever. By slicing his freaking ship in half!

I punched the throttle of my speeder, blowing past the red lights amid angry drivers.
---
"Chancellor, something's wrong. I have to get to the Temple right away!" Fiona also sensed it.
----
The twins and Grandfather Masaki, who were in the temple itself, sensed it as well and began converging on the Gardens.
A single scratchy message, from what appeared to be a handheld radio:
"OH THAT'S JUST GREAT, GO ON AND MAKE ME DETONATE THESE BIG ASS TORPEDOES IN MY CARGO HOLD, WHY DON'T YOU. NOT EVEN THOSE SHIELDS YA PUT UP CAN HOLD THIS BACK.

Energy crackled as the two sabers met with a his, Hawkins was surprised by the sith words and threw them back at the shrew,
"ENOUGH when is it enough Sith! How about when your kind killed my wife? How about when you all killed millions on Exartha? And now you've murdered Jennifer! Its never enough for you!" Hawkins said as he twirled his wrist upwards bringing both blades above there heads, then he punched the sith in her chest sending a force push at the same time throwing her backwards. It was then her night acted.
Caller was appalled by what he saw, this was not his master it couldn’t be! He probed his mind and saw there was something un-natural coursing threw it changing his perception of reality. He did something he never thought he would he drew his purple saber against his master, intending to kill him if he must.
"Master stop! Something is controlling you see threw it, see the truth!" Caller pleaded with his master as there blades met. Hawkins heard not his words blinded by the drugs controlling his mind.
It was a furious action a show of color as white met purple. Hawkins held to no form when dueling preferring a sort of free form, Caller his student did not posses his masters pure natural ability with the blade his strength lied in his understanding of the force, he used it as a shield, drew it to his body strengthening it, giving him agility and endurance he would not other wise possess. It was a valiant effort however in vain it was. Caller's movements slowed, he gasped for breath, and effort becoming more hard as Hawkins punched his ribs between blows driving his breath from him, all it all it took less then a minute before Caller was felled.
Caller made one final lunge at Hawkins who sidestepped his now sluggish attack, He would make the Sith pay, his saber struck the inner thigh of the sith ripping throw the bone and tissue emerging by his hip joint before it passed throw his right bicep in a viscous blow.
Caller's scream was blood curdling as his body went into shock and began to convulse on the bloody marble walkway of the garden. Before everything went black he manage to cast a heal spell to stop the internal bleeding in his severed limbs, it may save his life and was a testament to his ability as a councilor.
Hawkins reveled in the since of justice of felling the Sith who killed one of the last people he could have called a friend, now the fallen Knight's master was all that remained...he would bring her to justice too...

Jennifer realized that Hawkins was somehow turned into a sleeper agent the moment he struck Caller. Perhaps to assassinate her, even after she has presumed it was safe. Her son Daniel once said that his mind was twisted in some fashion to kill his own father, perhaps this was what occured to Hawkins.
"Hawkins. I am Jennifer Masaki! I am alive!" She cried. And I won't be if I don't do something...
"Mom!" "Mother!" The twins were the first reinforcements to arrive.
"Stay away! He believes we're Sith!" Jennifer shouted, but that moment of warning left a slight opening for Hawkins...

Hawkins concentrated for a second as the shrew pushed him backwards, the large splinters of wood now flew towards the twins along with several park benches and dozens of the cobblestones on the paths around them. He dragged Caller's saber to his left hand he spun the two blades about him and looked at the Sith Lord and shouted,
"YOUR END IS NEAR SITH, FEAR THE SHINING SWORD OF VENGENCE MURDERER!"
He advanced towards the sith his duel sabers attacking her in a blur of tenaciousness, she fought back valiantly he gave the sith that much, but he would not be stopped, she was struggling now to keep back his blades, now making contact every half a second, he pushed her back, he felt her tire, he would end her murdering spree soon...
The Chiss in the hanger leapt forth with an almighty laugh. Obviously this prisoner had no idea he was under a dampening field. But it was too late anyway, a large thud resounded around the hanger as the nose of his ship fell off and impacted upon the hanger floor. In front of it Fifty two walked calmly, protected by a small shield. “Care to join me while your ship is in for repairs?” She said slyly. “No point in killing us all, we just want to ask you a few questions, so come on out of there and stop being so stubborn.”

She felt the fury of the now-Sith Hawkins overwhelm her...she sensed death was near, and there's nothing to prevent it...not when the twins were busy dealing with the flying debris...Alex would be too late, and so would Daniel and Fiona and the other Jedi...
A blade caught her off-guard, and a second blade plunged into her. She gasped in pain and horror at what Hawkins has done.

Hawkins felt triumph as he finished the sith, then it turned sour his spine froze he body went numb with shock at his actions. The horribly aged and ugly face of the shrew chanced quickly with sudden clearness into that of Jennifer Masaki.
“N-NO! Not again…”He said quietly as his voice broke, he immediately shut off his sabers and placed his hand to her horrible wound. “I-I am so sorry Jen I didn’t know, I remember now it was Thrawn.” He felt her wounds were too serve to heal but he tried anyway, at least she would not feel any pain as she became one with the force. He gently laid her dying body to the ground “Please forgive me Jen, I fear your family will not…”
Hawkins noticed Callers body and the horrendous damage he did to the man whom he loved as his son, history was indeed repeating itself. Thrawn was directly responsible for this moment, but there were others at work too, it was all so clear now, he was used as a pawn. It all came back to the sith he remembered the day he fought to protect the senator, he remembered Fiona embrace of the dark side, he saw the Sith lord ultimately responsible for this all, his laugh, he wanted Jenn to die and now would use the anger created by this to turn her daughter into the sith he saw in his dream. It was all clear now but the sith lord remained an unknown, he knew of his presence for sure now but his face was still hidden.
Emotion poured over him as he fell to his knees weeping and the damage he wrought, the pain he was responsible for, he was not sad for himself or the consequences his actions would bring but at the price this day would bring. Darkness itself surrounded the Republic and its Jedi and his weakness may have let it win the day…
Vector's voice billowed out from the Cockpit and the lowered cargo bay door.
"YOU ASSHOLES ARE GONNA FORKIN' PAY FOR THE REPAIRS ON THIS THING! YOU'D BETTER BE GLAD I AIN'T IN A SUING MOOD!"
He stomped down the loading ramp, in full scarred battle armor, and hut-hutted it over to the person who rather aggravatingly called out to him.
"I've got enough ordinance in that ship to slice this ship in half, Damping field or not. I was already in a bad mood when y'all bastards caught up to me, so you had just better feel DAMN lucky that I'm not feeling very suicidal today.
"POOFY!" Vector shrieked, turning back to his wounded ship. A low gleeful howl answered him. "SIT! STAY!" A whimper issued from the ship in acknowledgement of his commands.

Jennifer lay dying, but gave one last command to Hawkins before her breath gave out. "Defeat...the...Admiral...the...Sith......forgive...my...children...their...fury..."
Then saw her husband, stretching his hand out to her, and she took the hand. Her body gave it up as her last breath was drawn, and she closed her eyes for the last time.
Taylor, ever the more high-strung twin, socked Hawkins a good one. "HOW COULD YOU?!"
Jacob just looked coldly at him.
Alex and the Jedi healers arrived on the scene, too late for her, and helped Caller and Davis. He stared at Hawkins, now an exile in his eyes. "How did this happen?"
I arrived on the scene several moments later. "No, Mom, please! Who did it? WHO DID ALL THIS?!"
Taylor and Jacob pointed to Hawkins. That's when I knew the rift between us, began during the Wick's rebellion, was complete.
"You picked the wrong family to mess with, Hawkins..." I growled, almost unsheathing my lightsaber, hands crackling with electrical currents. My grandfather shook his head. No. Not the right path. But it would feel good right about now. I let the saber alone, just barely in control.
But it was Fiona who's anger would turn to hatred, a burning hatred that would consume her and leave her all to vulnerable for a Sith with the right words to work her over like a whore. Fiona, who already has her brush with darkness, now descends into the Dark Side itself, pushed right to the edge by her mother's death, and would take one more nudge, just a touch, and it'll be all over. Fiona arrived last after all the Jedi, and sobbed over her mother's prone body. She silently vowed to kill Hawkins when next she sees him.

It was then the young Masaki twin punched him in the jaw, the boy massed barely a half of what Hawkins did and it must have been like punching steel for the boy, but it hurt and split his lip just the same.
"I-I didn't know it was her, there exist people out there who have insidious powers that can control our actions, make us do what we don’t want to, or see what is not real, I am more sorry then you know, perhaps one day when you stare into the face of evil, into Palpatine eyes you will understand boy...though for your sake i pray you never do."

Hawkins stood his spirit devastated, he always known of the rift formed between him and Daniel, but he was one of the few people he could have called a friend now that too was gone, he had lost so much and now had nothing but his only student whose body he mauled so terribly.
"Knight Masaki" Hawkins would never use his first name again" Alex, search my head and see the truth you owe your mother that, hear her final words. Without saying a word, he passed through each and every one of the people gathered, stopping to turn a hard glance on Hawkins, and a glance on Fiona that would have only been described as "knowing".
Slowly, he turned towards Jennifer and knelt down beside her body. He reached over and drew a strange series of runes over her body, chanting a low requiem of arcane terms.
After what seemed like an eternity, his chanting ended, and he stood up. He turned to Daniel and his normal nature returned.

Though indeed you were a pawn in the hands of the Sith." He stared into my eyes. "Daniel knows what it was like to be controlled in the manner you were controlled, though he was Sith only for a short time."
"Grandfather..." I said quietly.
It will take time for my eldest grandson to heal. Forgivness will take a while. Grandfather spoke in Hawkin's mind. The twins will bounce back, they haven't had a brush with the dark so far. But I, too worry about my granddaughter. I see myself in her, all too well.
Regret etched in the old Master's face. I am the last living elder in the Masaki line, now that Jennifer is no longer with us. When gone I am, the last of the Masakis will they be.
Well, that's not quite accurate. His brother, Ben Masaki, had two other grandchildren (definitely not as well-known as Dan and the others), but this is the main line he's talking about here, the line that is currently eligible for the throne. Although younger than the twins, they could be of use now, with this war going on. There's much potential for casualties among the foursome; especially for Daniel, now at the time he should be getting a sweetheart. Alex filed that little tidbit away for now.

"There is no death there is only the force..." Hawkins said giving Jennifer the greatest tribute a warrior Jedi such as himself could give. To men like Daniel, Alex and himself, those who’ve fought the dark experienced death, who understood such things, knew death was nothing to be feared. Nothing at all for there was the force.
I don’t need a guardian, I am a big boy I can answer for my actions anytime the piper comes a-calling…its something that comes with the territory. Hawkins told Kevlin.
“I know my punishment, Ill collect a few things and be off this planet soon enough
All of our times come to an end, it is the way of things though I think the Masaki’s will be left in good hands with Daniel, too much of his father in him but something’s cant be helped. He told Alex.

"I am only here to say good bye to a friend." he walked past the healer finding the bed Caller was hooked up too, he was still unconscious but the doctor said they should be able to re-grow his leg, the arm however would have to be a prosthetic. Hawkins took out the saber he took from Caller during the duel and laid it on the small table by the bed returning it to his student.
I need to go for a while, there was too many people around here anyway, you know the sith are at work here so my exile wont be in vain. I am going to hunt our enemies in their own home, I may not return i just wanted to say you've made me a proud master. I am sorry. Hawkins told Caller not even knowing if he heard his words and with that Hawkins left the infirmary and headed to the landing bay.
Upon arriving he looked at the cluster of craft present and found his, one of the oldest and most battered X-Wing present, scarred and scored by near hits, it was the only thing left in the world that he truly loved.
With that Hawkins flew the old craft into space and left the planet entering his exile.

"For what, is a puppet without its strings? But a doll, tossed on the winds of fate, I ask you, Fiona....What is your calling? Who pulls your strings? What drives you to lock all your feeling within, as a Jedi...What kills your pain?"

The Chronosian fleet recoiled as countless impacts scored the hulls of their vessels. Explosions shattered smaller ships as missles rocketed forth, armor piercing rounds designed to explode once imbedded, others which would rend the outer hull....
And with a crackle, a hiss of daemonic discharge; the mighty Warp cannons of the Battleships opened fire;l as the orbital defence weapons roared into action, spraying the void with intense firey discharge...

Bridge of the World Cleanser Defiler, flagship of the Dooman Crusader Fleet
High Praetor Skorm sat in his command chair, constructed of the bones of fallen enemies, still stained bright red with their blood. The air stank of rotting corpses, and a thin red fog hung about the floor. It was a very frightening atmosphere, whith foul runes carved into the very living wall of the vessel. Skorm was a terrible creature, with large spikes growing out of his sholders (upon which he'd impaled the heads of those he'd killed in battle), fangs growning out of his mouth, and firey red eyes which reflected off of his scaley grey skin. His command crew was more afraid of him then the Emperor Himself. "Ensign, how long until we can make the jump?" thundered the deep, warped voice of the beast.
"Two hours, my lord."
"Good, continue what you are doing." he said, arising from his skull throne. "For now, I must tend to my legions."
He walked towards the turbolift, the ground beneath his feet sizzling from the heat produced by them. As he neared the troop compartment, a massive chamber lined with heat tubes for putting the men into hybernation, he reviewed the mission plan in his head.
The objective was simple. Deny the Heretic Republic their clones. This would be accomplished by conquering the world of Kamino. Many thousands of fresh souls lie there, yet to be converted to the True Race.
The ancient black doors of the turbolift slid open, and he stepped out onto a balcony overlooking the millions of men who stood in several perfect formations of several thousand men, their black armor reflecting the erie red light the lit the room. Among them were their banner carriers, whos banners were decorated with skulls and with blood. Their helmets were off, and he could see the faces of every one of them. They were mostly new converts, mainly converted Yaforites, eager to sacrifice themselves for the Crusade, but several thousand battle-hardened Marines and Legionaries stood at the front of the organized horde. The armor of the veterans were carved into with foul runes, with dry blood iluminating the ancient letters, making for an unatural black and red pattern on the men. The new ones were yet to be decorated, and would be the very first to sacrifice themselves in the torrents of flame that awaited them.
Skorm spoke to the dark army amassed before him in his usual demonic tone,
"Servants of my will! You come before me before your finest hour! Soon, you will drop into the heart of the worlds we wish to consume and change to liberate their peoples from the heresy they live on a daily basis. For some of you, this will be your last campaign in this world," he said, a foul smirk upon his lips, "but there will be many more foes to vanquish in the afterlife! Remember that, and take heart from it! Many of you have seen the glory of battle and come away still in this world, yet many have not had that priveledge as of now. Well, my children, today, that priveledge is your's! You shall taste man flesh!"
With those words, the chamber errupted in a mighty roar as the Black Army awoke from its slumber, the banner carriers slamming the poles on the ground in unison, the others pounding their chests with their power blades and roaring into the foul air their vile prayers. Soon, the worlds of the Republic would be consumed by the Great Fires of Doom, and these men were Their instruments.

“Destination?”
“Kaminos Chancellor, they’re heading for the cloners world.”
“How predictable.” Vedil mused. “Warriors never have been the brightest of foes, strong and fearsome indeed, but intelligence, the idea is almost laughable.”
“Begin operation trident, alert all commands to descend below the planetary shields, I don’t think we will be having a fleet battle today.”
Kaminos
The great roar of engines suddenly stopped as the fleet descended onto the waters surface. Fighters, droids and assault craft leapt into action prepared for any eventuality. The orbital defence network was the first to be activated. Lowered into a low atmospheric position the satellites would hold position beneath the planets shield, affording protection from the incoming fleet.
The Kaminos stations however began to withdraw below the waters surface. Balast tanks blew and mighty spires delved beneath the waves while troopers and Kamino commandos prepared to fight.
Command posts now established on capital ships awaited the storm. Led by Jedi and generals alike the unending swarm of clone troopers continued to move forth from the depths of the water world to face their enemy, and fight.
As the planets shield went up the Doomingsland fleet would drop out of real space to find space undefended. Sensor distortion generators would come to life to prevent the invaders from realising the true scope of the defence, once they got closer to the world, they would find a torrent of firepower rise against them in a great act of defiance.

Cargo Hold of the Defiler
"Alright you maggots, into the pods!" yelled an old sergeant to his squad of fresh converts. The Hordes of Doom had grown restless, and were swarming into their drop/boarding pods. Each pod held a sqaud of ten converts, marines, or legionaries. In one of these pods sat a man called Marius, a recent convert. He had once been human, living on a Yaforite world. Then the Doomans came, and all that changed.
He had only recently been equiped for this battle; he was fresh out of the conversion chambers. He wore rusted black armor and carried an old plasma rifle. He'd also been issued a power blade, which sat in its sheath on his back. He and the rest of his fellow Doomans were sitting in their pods, strapping in for the planet fall.
He was now more powerfull than he ever could have imagined. He could literaly crush a man's skull in his hand (and had done so already), or punch through armored plating, or leap thirty feet in the air. His former countrymen had always warned of some "darkness" or another and how he shouldn't embrace it. He now wrote them off and foolish. Just then, his sergeant stepped into the small, circular pod.
"Brothers, I bid you congradulations. This shall be, for many of you, your first- and your last- battle. However, men, remember this: the more humans you kill, the greater your reward shall be in the afterlife. That said, go forth, and kill as many as possible." finished the sergeant in a somewhat as-a-matter-of-factly tone before sitting down and straping in.
Once he'd strapped in, the door on the outside dropped down, sealing them in. It was pitch black for a few seconds before a dim red light came on.
"Alright, men, on with your helmets." said the sergeant.
The men hit a few buttons on the wrist pad of their power suits, and their helmets quickly folded from the armored plating on their back on over their heads, dropping down a black visor that completely covered their faces. They were now completely shielded from the elements.

Kamino Command Centre
Commander Velian stood on the last remaining spire of the water world. Almost all had sunk beneath the waves as a defence, but he had seen fit to leave one remaining position on the surface as to provide an adequate command position. Velian was a new commander, just recently enrolled into the Imperial command system, but he had shot up the ladder in months, rumours had it that the Chancellor himself assisted Velian, but they were only rumours.
“Enemy fleet inbound. Commander sector two reports large fleet of capital ships, orders?”
“Allow them to come into range first, the Doomingsland forces will deploy drop pods in their traditional military fashion. Prepare cluster batteries, and hornet swarms!”
“Batteries armed and ready Commander.”
“Planetary shield is under attack Commander, 0.004% decrease in strength. They will have to siege us, or deploy smaller attack craft.”
“Drop pods incoming.”
“Order all missile batteries to take them out! Initiate surface to orbit attack, target the main command ships at once.”
From the orbital defences and floating Star Destroyers unleashed turbolaser fire which erupted into orbit, passing out of the energy shield and impacting upon the enemy fleet. The sensor distortion field now lowered would show the severity of the situation, the ocean was covered in Capital ships erupting fire into orbit, while missiles shot forth into the atmosphere and broke apart, sending homing swarms in search of descending pods.
“Raise command bunker shielding.”
“Shields raised Commander.”
“Alert all infantry forces to be prepared for enemy assault, and what is the status of the Kaminan guard?”
“They are holding position one kilometre beneath the waters surface Commander, they will emerge when the order is given, or take too underwater combat.”

You must take her to Korriban my student, complete her training and find the valley of the Jedi, if you complete you task, take the army to Yafor 2, and wipe the Jedi out, all of them.” Vedil turned from his apprentice and left. His instructions clear, Chronos would realise that the fate of the Sith order lay upon him, he could not, he must not fail.
Fifty two watched the new prisoner leave… what remained of his ship in a huff, the Chiss guards watching his every move as he passed through the hanger bay. “Well, as I am the pilot that discovered you.” she said cockily. “I am to ask you a few questions. What are you doing in Chiss space? Where did you come from? And who and why are you looking for someone?”

"My Lord, we shall take Korriban, and then set out on your great crusade for the Valley of the Jedi, only our mighty armies are worthy to wield that power; only the Sith can conquer. In the meanwhile, I shall commence my infiltration of the Jedi Temple, and recover the Sith Holocrons that they covet and yet are too foolhardy to use. Afraid of our power.." He chuckled slightly. "We shall dominate the Galaxy once more...Together"

"Oh, isn't that nice..." Vector said, rolling his eyes.
"My name is Vector, I come from god knows where, and I am looking for a fellow named Admiral Thrawn. I have something I need to tell him, and then I'll just book my ass out of your space and go about my business... AFTER my ship gets repaired."
He turned away and stared at the lump of tangled metal and sparking wires that used to be his cockpit, shaking his head. "Bastards," he said under his breath.

“Well, since your ship isn’t going anywhere quickly I guess this can be discussed with the captain, an invitation for one, I’m sure you will understand, but don’t worry, we will have a decision reached in a few days time, we have yet to know whether the Grand Admiral can be bothered talking to you or not. We will send a forward communication, if he wishes to see you, you will live, if not, well I guess you will die.”
Two guards came into the room. “Please follow us to your accommodation.” The heavy Ion Casters, and Reinforced armour screamed. Don’t piss us off.
“I would go with them.” Fifty two whispered. As she brushed past Vector on her way out.

Chronos stood by his ship, waiting, clothed in his mask and robes; calling out with his mind. "My young apprentice....Come to me, your training must continue. Come, Nightshade....Lady of Darkness, come to your destiny...."
She digs me Vector thought himself with a smirk as Fifty Two left the hangar. Then he turned to the two armed guards pointing their rifles at him and dripping with sarcasm as they asked him to follow them to his new home-for-the-moment.
"Just so ya know, I gotta come back in a couple hours to feed the dog. He gets kinda testy if I don't plop a few cans of Soylent Chow in his dish twice a day."
