This is to all governments willing to attend this conference which will be held in the city of Cape Town in South Africa

The conference will mainly focus on matters concerning political and economic issues for the various attendees and ways to improve on political and economic stability. We are hoping to be able to get at least a dozen or more governments to send representatives to this conference so that we can discuss matters of great importance in regards to the mutual prosperity of the various attendees.

A large amount of the time allocated to discussions at the conference will be devoted to how best to divide up the unclaimed portions of Africa amongst the various attendees.


We look forward to seeing you in Cape Town, please note that parts of South Africa, mostly near Durban in the east, and other parts of Natal, are in rather, unstable circumstances. These matters are of little concern to the conference though, although it is advisable any attendees do not approach from the Eastern part of South Africa, as there is an ongoing conflict involving the Zulu and Xhosa and it seems possible that planes may be shot down in that area. Also Commonwealth forces are engaged in fights against Xhosa rebels in the East. Since the rebels there have made it clear they will not obey the laws and ethics of war, travel in that region is not recommended.

The Virginian 747 flew across the Atlantic, on a western approach to Cape Town.

It flew close to South African airspace, and then hailed Commonwealth AIr Command:

"Commonwealth Air Command, this is Virginian Air #392-332. President Featherston is aboard. Requesting permission to enter South African Airspace and land in Cape Town."

The gigantic G80 Pwnage government gunship flew into South African Airspace.

"This is MassPwnage requesting entry into South African Airspace. We're here for a conference."

"The two planes approaching are cleared to land in Cape Town. We expect you to be arriving shortly and at the runways we will be lighting up for you."

The 747 made its way to Cape Town, and it soon found its designated runway, marked by the promised lights.

Slowing up, it landed on the runway, and began taxing to its designated gate.

The G80 touched down, and Redham got off the plane, accompanied by 2 huge MassPwnage Imperial Guards.

A Small Private Jet had made its way across africa, avoidingthe volatile east of the South, and had now begun to veer from the west nearing Cape Town.

"This is Captain Teysimov flying FRR Private-Flight 44-Alpha-2, Requesting Landing Permission, We Have Ambassador Petrokiv onboard, over"

A Havenite diplomat will be sent as this most likley will directly affect Havenite Africa. He will arrive in Cape Town shortly.

"All planes carrying delegates from nations listed on the attendee list are welcome and cleared to land in Cape Town."

The Small Jet landed with a slight bump on the runway in Cape Town, coming to a stop, the door opened and the steps cascaded down like a waterfall.

The Ambassador stepped out, accompanied by one Aide, and he made his way for the private exit of the airport.

Featherston then got out of his jet, smiled and said, "Well, so this is Cape Town......"

He then walked further away from the jet along with two guards, and soon went to the delegates' meeting area.

OOC: Where are the delegates meeting, anyway?

"Roger that," the capitain replied. "We'll be touching down shortly."

The giant A380, which had been flying over the water as a precaution, turned around and started flying toward Cape Town's airport.

In the cabin, Kaiser Alec Mannerheim turned his thoughts back home- to his wife Yuna. He hoped she was alright.

About twenty minutes later, the plane finally touched down at the airport. Mannerheim exited the plane with two of his bodyguards, and headed for the airport exit.

Ooc- The conference will be held in downtown Cape Town at the recently constructed luxurious Balthazar Johannes Vorster hotel.

IC- "All planes are cleared to land in Cape Town and the delegates should proceed promptly to the Balthazar Johannes Vorster hotel. They will have their rooms readied for them when they get there."

President Featherston and his entourage secured some transportation, and then went from the airport directly to Balthazar Johannes Vorster Hotel.

There, he had a valet park his car, and went inside.

William Fabus and Dieter Thaller were already at the hotel, both men were sitting in the Paul Kruger bar and were enjoying a pipe and a glass of brandy. The air was heavy with the sweet scent of Rhodesian tobacco and the lights were rather dim as to relax the atmosphere and mood for when the people were arriving.

Mannerheim and guards entered a waiting sedan, and drove to the hotel.

At the hotel, Mannerheim entered. As he walked in, he was hoping that this wasn't a trap. "I know I can't be paranoid," he said to himself, "but I just can't be sure. Anyway, time to enter the coming firestorm that is a Fabus diplomatic meeting."

He walked into the bar, hoping to get a drink to calm his nerves.

William jumped up out of his seat and walked over, hugging Alec as he said, "Het hallo, hoe bent u, vriend? Hoe de vlucht is van Spanje gegaan?"

Unfortunately for Alec, he knew no Afrikaans whatsoever, and no Dutch, but he knew German, so he could somewhat make out what William was saying. So, he replied in German, "Very good, thanks. Just a suggestion."

Redham sighed and got into a waiting sedan as well.

Nikolai finally hung up the phone, wow, was his wife forever nagging. He needed a drink, maybe 2, maybe 20.

He Finally mustered the energy to pick himself up off of the bed, make himself presentable and head downstairs to the bar...

Manfred had by now got to Mississippi, he was in the bar, drinking the last of his rum. He slammed the pot down onto the table, demanding another one...

Feathrston got somebody to hang up his coat, and then, he proceeded to look for the person who organized this event.

He decided to go to the bar, to chat with his fellow dignitaries, as well as get a Glenlivet scotch. He sauntered up to the bar, and ordered his scotch.

The drink being delivered promptly by the bartender, he sat back and enjoyed it. He thought to himself: "Be calm, you're representing Virginia......you're gonna be fine....."

Manfred couldn't help overhearing the conversation between Dieter and Alec.

"Hitler was a mad imbecile fool who tried to justify his silly acts by racial cleansing." Manfred butted in.

Dieter didn't even dignify Manfred with a response, he just nodded his head and kept talking to Alec, saying, "Hmmm, so, what are your plans for later in the evening? I think the Dimmimarian delegates might have to schedule some classes on manners and proper debates, but as for mature adults such as you and I, perhaps we could have a smoke and a game of cards, eh?"

Manfred made no attempt to get back into the conversation.

Dr. Pablo Francisco Somoza of the Roach-Busters Colonization Society would like to attend. (He was in Nicaragua during the fall of the RB government, along with a few hundred thousand RB soldiers.)

Sporting a scrupulously pressed tuxedo, a hat like the kind Churchill always wore, black gloves, meticulously polished shoes, and smoking a wooden pipe, Dr. Lopes entered the conference, twirling his mustache with the index finger of his left hand while cradling his pipe with his right hand. "Good day, gentlemen," he said in a gentle, soft, calm voice that depicted his deeply humble, gentlemanly nature.

Your names are on little cards resting on the hood of the car, so you'll figure out who is getting which car... Now, let's all get some sleep for the conference tomorrow, or you can all chat for a while and have some nice conversations, whatever you want to do."

He got there in time to hear what William was saying.

In the morning, William Fabus and Dieter Thaller were both present in the conference room at 9 am sharp, as was listed on the sheets handed out to all attendees. They were anxiously awaiting the people to arrive so things could get started.

Jake Featherston sauntered in, awake, and in good spirits. He came at 9 am sharp, he was never late for anything and he would certainly not start now!

He then addressed William Fabus respectfully, extending his hand and looking Mr. Fabus in the eye, saying, "Good Day, Mr. Fabus."

After doing the same for Dieter, he then proceeded to go to his seat, and then sat down, waiting for the others to arrive.

Somehow, Through some miracle of god.

No Serious Hangover. Nikolai still groggily went about preparing himself, untill eventually he was done.

After Jedo had awoke, he took the elevator down to where the conference room was. When he walked in he said "Good morning" to pretty much address everyone in the room.

He then took a seat towards the front and waited for others to arrive.

William shook hands with all the arrivals and then quickly returned to the elevated podium in the center of the conference room.

His first asked as question, "Hello, thank you all for coming... First, I'd like to know how many of you came by plane? Now how many of you came here by road or by ship?"

King Jedo said "I came on my personal jet, then I was driven the rest of the way"

Featherston then said, "If I may? I came on the Presidential Jet, taking a westward approach of course to South Africa."

Redham appeared, flanked by the guards as usual.

"I came by plane, then drove here the rest of the way. Nice to meet you Mr. Fabus."

It was a plan for a highway to run from California, across the Pacific Ocean, to Japan and other parts of Asia, through the Indian Ocean, to India, stopping in South Africa, then continuing out the other side of South Africa to the Eastern parts of North America and to Europe.

He was grinning as he waited for initial reactions to the plan.

Alec was rather quite confused. "William, is that even plausible? I mean, you'd have to basically put billions of tons of dirt across the ocean floor, get it to a high enough level to avoid flooding, and pave it- It would never work."

William scoffed at Alec, "Fine, then don't use the highway... Trust me, it'll work. We'll have rest areas every few miles, gas stations, floating cities anchored near the road for people to visit and rest in on their travels, eh, like it, huh?"

Considering the ocean currents, the varying depths of the bodies of water you propose to go through, and the varying weather conditions across the various areas it will go over, it will be a nightmare to pay for and maintain it. Nevermind the varying nations that you would have to seek permission from."

He then said, "If there is anything going for this, it would definetly make land intercontinental travel easier, though I would suggest using pontoons if you must try this."

William scoffed at Alec, "Fine, then don't use the highway... Trust me, it'll work. We'll have rest areas every few miles, gas stations, floating cities anchored near the road for people to visit and rest in on their travels, eh, like it, huh?"

Jake said, "Obviously, we'd put anchors on the pontoons, and it would be foolish if we did not guard the road. Perhaps every other one of the floating cities Mr. Fabus speaks of could become a Floating Fortress, capable of carrying aircraft, ships, and Marines to aid in the defense of this road?"

I do know of some colleagues of mine at the KSC Enterprises concern that might be willing to take on this effort with you."

Jake said, "Definetly, we must plan to avoid as many mountains and difficult terrain features as possible using overland routes. This will make construction easier and reduce overhead. It might also decrease travel time for those using this Global Beltway.....it does resemble a belt of sorts."

Jake said, "Hmm....I know, the land part is easy, but doing the transoceanic lines will be more of an obstacle. Perhaps we can build large foundations similar to those of oil rigs to help facilitate this, say every 10-20 Miles, or 32.1 km for those nations that use the metric system, and along the rest of the way, we can use smaller versions of such systems or pontoons anchored to the seafloor."

Jake said, "Well, assuredly, every nation that builds this should be obligated to defend it, especially at the vulnerable seaways. Perhaps at every rest station, there should be a Marine and Naval garrison, to help defend the route should it come under attack."

Nikolai finally decided to make his presence at least remotely known.
