Operation: One China

Despite what the Junta wanted the world to believe, the Sinoese were at the absolute pinnacle of readiness. Not a single patch of blue was scene, unlike on TV.

Border: 0000 hours

Most of the Sinoese military operations begin with a boom, it must be foolish to think that this one is an exception. This came as unexpected to the world as the killing of Gen. Liu's body double in Moscow. Three days after the assassination attempt is over schedule in Chinese eyes. The day has come for armed struggle for a unified China.

A massive artillery barrage, consisting mostly of long range MLRS (WS-2*, WS-1B, A-100), long range howitzers like the Type 89s (203mm) and it's self-propelled cousin, the PLZ-65 (http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/china/images/203sp-1.jpg) fired rocket propelled munitions, while the new front across China comes alight like a volcanic chasm in the Earth's crust. The shrapnelling and HE rounds fired could tear men into mince and tanks and building into micro-rubble. The barrage continued until sunrise.

H-8 stealth bombers, escorted by J-12As began an intensive SEAD campaign across the first row of provinces on the border. Downing enemy radar and air defenses, another wave of H-8s and J-12A dropped unless supplies of napalm on various military targets. Every unit of such aircraft must be in the air at this hour.

When the enemy combatants thought they had enough, their already evacuated (OOC: Xiaguo did mention mass evacuations North, many weeks before this operation.) industrial facilities were targetted. Chemical plants, military suppliers and facilities of heavy industry were to be crippled by attacks of GPS guided TBMs such as the DF-21, DF-15 and DF-11, complemented by the Mach 4.5 speeds of the NF-7A cruise missiles (solid fuelled), such precision strikes aimed for the machineries of production, without razing entire plants.

Conservative estimates suggest more than 2000 detonations per hour, compared to the case of reclaiming Hualien, which was only 500 detonations per day. The sounds and smell of a new Chinese Civil War, mixed oddly with the autumn chill. This is the season of harvest, what was sown must reap.

*2x350mm and 360km range.

Private Kan Raybon looked at his wrist watch, it was nearly daybreak. This had been his first time in combat, yet the prospect of killing those of his own kin had no appeal to him. But the thought of killing traitors aroused him. Only 18 and barely any facial hair, the boy soldier was inspired by his now deceased father. Two years ago, his father was blown to pieces in Xinjiang, he felt that as one of three surviving sons, he should take revenge. Kan wanted an infantry career all along, he wanted to do the Junta's dirty work, just like his father. At least such 'dirty work' is honorable!

"DENG che! (Board!)" The staff sergeant pointed to those opened doors of the Type 89 IFVs. Kan knew it was time to go. What he's armed with is nothing like basic training, this operation had different requirements. Type 87A rifles were re-issued with initial 100rd drums. If bullets were wasted, some commies are going to die twice before they hit the ground.

http://www.sinodefence.com/army/individual/type87_rifle58_2.jpg

He had the worst sleep in his life last night, and now he's expected to make his country proud. Kan was the last in his squad to board, closing the door behind him. For the past six months of his life, the high school graduate was made transformed from boy to man.

Durex Condoms have begun a new advertising campaign in light of the current situation. A new advertising poster features a group shot of Yeh, Lin and Zhou together, while the caption beneath reads "If only their parents used Durex Condoms."

OOC: Don't kill the prince, I'll use him for something in the future.

The Durex Condom company's Executive, and several company officials were murdered overnight. The company, one of the largest in China had fell ill of the Xiannese, after the government had banned its condom shipments to Xiannese pharmacies and stores. The Xiannese Bureau of Consumer products have found labels on the back of the packages suggesting moaning, "Heil Liu!" during sex.

The East Xiannese Fleet, along with the Bohai Expedition Fleet began to open fire at Shanghai. Planes from the North began the bombing of Shanghai. Fengyuns, or the newest of the Xiannese, TU-22 Russian engineered, Chinese made origin, reserved in Northern China and Eastern China will begin service into Operation "Shanghai Tan" The Fengyun has a range of 4,000 miles, and travels twice the speed of sound. The long range of these fighters have allowed them to travel as far north as Harbin all the way south to Shanghai. The Rabe Fighter, named after the Nanjing German Hero, was also developed in Nanjing, however, with capabilities of flying as far south as Indonesia. However, the planes have not been upgraded to refuel in the air and requires double trips. This plane is more capable of strategic bombing than of the Fenyun. The two planes were developed by two seperate contractors.

The jets were loaded with the KH 2(Kh-22). The KH 2 is a rocket-powered weapon capable of reaching out 300 miles or more at speeds in excess of six times the speed of sound. Several were equipped with a nuclear warhead equal to 300,000 tons of TNT.

"You are fighting demons. They will burn, loot, destroy and rape. They are not Chinese. You, what's you party membership?"

"Nationalist, Sir."

"You?"

"Independent Socialist, Sir."

"How about you?"

"The Confederate Party, Sir."

"By the Sinoese books, you're all communists. Your friends, comrades, same party affiliated brothers and sister, many, have been cooked live by the Sinoese napalm. I recomend you bring a shovel to scoop up the remains of the fallen, or you'll be walking in hell. You have a choice now, to shoot as many of these soldiers. Evil cannot co-live with Good. This war must come. Either the evil will take over, we can care less. We are being paid 2,000 yuan a month to fight, and for those who seek excitment, you can go fuck a dog for all i care, because once you see what's out there, you'll surely fuck a dog than fight out there. These Sinoese troops are kinda like Japs, so if you want Nanjing to survive, you'll have to do much more than point and shoot.

Our order is to take Shanghai, now, who's from Shanghai?"

*Half of the group raises their hands. The base was located in Nanjing.

"I understand. Be careful of who you shoot, if they wear fascist clothes, shoot em, because they're likely to shoot you." said Prince Zhou, who was to lead the astern based troops in an offensive. The prince wasn't very educated at all, much like Huang and Liu. However, his farmer boy skills was needed by the government, and instead of working as an Imperial Professor of Agriculture, he was sent by the Sichuan District Government Eastward to aid the war.

Always on full alert, that's the case of the Sinoese fighter force and air defences. Should the skies of the Junta be breached, smoldering scrap metal shall rain.

Above: Yitian SAM system guarding an undisclosed area.

With the Guo Fu C5ISRAI system on full speed, all known areas of Xiannese troops were targetted, even in the light of day. No one cared about what bullsh*t was said in the endless pep talks made by enemy superiors.

In the smoking dawn, tank and armored infantry units began moving North. The Northern Expedition had begun. Little resistance was offered by the remaining peasant militias and many areas on the first row of provinces came under immediate control. That is of course, mobile SAMs and fighters always cover their asses.

http://www.anyboard.net/gov/mil/anyboard/uploads/Type98G.jpg

The Stapapol enforced a daylight curfew (in the urban areas) with a small number of arrests, infrastructure that was previously deliberately damaged in the foolish evacuation had to be repaired quickly by the dedicated engineering units.
Life is expected to return to normal in a matter of weeks.

Some troops belonging to PR branches made door to door visits to citizens' residences, checking to see that eveything's all right and nobody's hurt. Fraternization is still illegal, but that law is to be lifted should the calm prevail. Even those who surrendered gracefully were treated well (according to international conventions dictating POWs). Goodwill bins have been setted up for any trigger happy citizen to dump their firearms before we find them.

“We are not your enemies, those who are born Chinese but reject China, are!”

- ARSA leaflet excerpt

Since it is the harvest season, Sinoese troops with agricultural experience volunteered to help with the any agricultural work that needs to be done in this busy season. The form of martial law imposed seemed a happy one.

The clinking sounds made by the tens of thousands of tracks belonging to the artilleries came as an expected annoyance to their crewmen, numbering even more. They moved North, catching up to their compatriots of the more direct nature in firing. The streams of missiles (ballistic and cruise) soaring above them in the deep blue sky of autumn looked hardly surprising to the seasoned soldiers.

"Newly reclaimed territories meant expansion? Why stop at something you're good at?" An officer from the ARSAF briefed his pilots before they head off on another raid. Victory is best served in repitition.

Due to some artillery units being on the road, the rate of detonation had to be decreased to 2000 per hour.

OOC (to Xiaguo):

You need to shut the f*ck up and think before you speak! If Sino is so gung ho over morals, would condom packets say "Heil Liu" or anything political in them? Durex, like many local and international corporations, had a market in the North until communism came. Gen. Liu does not allow to be worshipped in any way, it was your stupid idea of putting up his painting to replace Mao's! "Heil Liu!" is illegal if said. If there's one thing the Chinese are masters at, it would be bootlicking. Is the American education system considering the decline of rationalism with their 'intelligent design' over evolution? You need to make observations and analysis before conclusions. If "Heil Liu" was printed inside the condom packaging, you can expect the perpetrators to be restrained, disembowelled, then strangled with their own intestines! (Just kidding on that one, son! But they will face a public execution, that's for sure.)

All you give a f*ck about is wanking events saying that we killed civvies and that we are Japs. Do I have to f*ckin' mail you a sample of my blood to prove to you which country I'm from?! (That may be classed as a biohazardous, but U.S. Customs are lacks.) To your imagination, the war is like China taking revenge on Japland, but no! The case is, we don't kill our own civilians, unless you use them as human shields or something. if we are as evil as you would like to think we are, wouldn't Beijing be lifeless for the next 1,000+ years by now? You're the one who's talking crazy sh*t about KH-2s and 30kT tactical nuclear warhead.

And stop criticizing the levels of education in the Military Junta. Gen. Liu has a BE majoring in mechanical engineering and unlike your country bumpkin officers, the Junta's officer corp consists of a great majority of university graduates. You better give me some legitimate reasons to spare the prince, considering that he’s brevet to a professor for being “uneducated”. I've mentioned in other posts before, anyone can wear khaki and curse all day like George Patton, but if you want him to live, why do you send that p*ssy to slaughter. Do you think that war is fun? If Prince Harry (now that he's in the British Army) is sent to Iraq, not even all the SAS from all the Commonwealth combined, could watch his ass, let alone try to save it!

In conclusion, you talk out off your ass more than Bonstock used to (and still do)!

[OOC: Xiaguo, I can see how it may seem rather hopeless... Sino posts an attack, then continues the post assuming total success and appropriate consequences, but that doesnt mean you can't respond appropriately to the first part before the second part has a chance to come apart. Your own border units responding, counterartillery barrages, conventional cruise missiles against Southern SAM and military supply storage areas. Its perfectly legitimate, if someone posts a sequence of actions, to respond to the first before the last has a chance to occur.

Sino, it might be a good idea to refrain from levelling Wank accusation at Xiaguo while you yourself attribute to him actions he never posted about: notably, deliberate damage of infrastructure during the evacuation... which raisesthe question: it seemed like an evacuation by Xiannese civilians frightened of Sino. Was it this, or a more complete departure?

OOC:The evacuation attempts were government issued. The evacuations of major cities while hundreds more from the countryside had either moved north or eastward. Refuge camps have been already set up in the North where defenses are much more complete than the newly aquired south.

Like the attack on Shanghai, he completely ignores it, and when he doesn't, I was completely "crushed".

It would be suicide for the Xiannese to even dare to venture into Sinoese airspace. Satellite imaging, combined with the Guo Fu's computing powers have given unprecedented levels of guidance to all types of SAMs upgraded. No enemy aircraft is safe, not even stealth bombers. Repelling the attack on Shanghai was not only the work of SAMs but also of the ageing J-10A fighters.

(OOC: It would be foolish to think that your fighters passed through the border. If the KH-2s are capable of the speeds and range of my NF-7As (8m length), they would be too long and too heavy to be launched by fighters. You have failed to mention what targets were pointed in Shanghai, I would assume that you wanted to destroy school, apartments and hospitals.)

Although all carriers had been in the home port, bracing for the coming naval assault by Xiaguo's pathetic bath tubs, their flight decks buzzed with activity mirroring the many shore-based airstrips belonging to the ARSNAC (Armed Republic of Sino Naval Aviation Corps), JH-15s soared through the air.

When the world thought that these agile fighter bombers were redeployed to aid the ground forces in the assault up north, they were very wrong. Total numbers of JH-15s involved in the defense of Shanghai is close 80. Being comparable to the U.S. JSF, guided bombers were dropped on the unsuspecting Xiannese ships.

Along with battery from the air, the new YJ-12 anti-ship missile (capable of Mach 2.4 speed) were launched at the incoming ships from shore-based and ship-based installations.

General Policies:

The Military Junta declares a five-hour lifting of the daylight curfew. Armed units of the ARSA and Stapapol patrol the streets, ready to arrest any trouble makers. Although, the specific date is unclear, the Military Junta is willing to lift the daylight curfews completely in a matter of days, should there be no political violence or revolt. Night time curfew however, would take some time.

The may not be laws against peaceful public demonstrations but the slogans of daydreamers come as a foreign language to the soldiers and officers. Recuitment stations were set up across many towns and cities. Some youths have decided to join the ARSA or Stapapol, seeing what a comparably stronger government of China can do, many have found the assault of the Chinese troops to be awe inspiring. The ARSA has expressed concerns over the high number of enlistment interests, stemming from the downfall of the Rebel economy due to the recent tensions. Security at recruitment stations looked tense, due to the possibility of attacks by red bandits still hiding amongst the population. For those who are too young to fight, Chinese troops simply hand out candies to school children.

Local Governments:

Those who are not defiant of the Military Junta kept their jobs, but under military supervision. Government offices came under Stapapol security, along with areas of historical heritage, universities, hospitals and museums.

Potential Tax Rebates:

As a gesture of the Military Junta's kindness, all newly reclaimed citizens were given amounts of about 500 yuan in their bank accounts. Such moneys were from the still unused heavy taxation of the Rebels. There is a possibility of further monetary grants.

Education:

As a temporary relief on the minds of students, schools are no longer permitted to give any political indoctrination, for now.

Justice:

Several murderers and bank robbers were publically executed to demonstrate the Chinese way of justice. The official regime of China does not tolerate crime. As Stapapol have taken over the prisons, former Xiannese prison guards are free to join Stapapol (as provisionals) or be fired. Former political criminals (the ones jailed for supporting the Military Junta) were freed then compensated.

Publically displayed portraits of members of the Troika of Trouble were swiftly removed for public burning, along with literature promoting the communist evils.

The Military Junta simply ignores the democrats and peaceful demonstrators, but political violence will not be tolerated, as anywhere else.

I don't know, this war wasn't even to be started with.
You still haven't posted where you're attacking...

So cut the bullshit on the attacks, because I don't even know what you're attacking. How would 500 yuan be better than 1,000 yuan Tax returns at the end of the year? The Taxation situation is not as bad as you are writing down.

The generated revenue along with the taxations will help generate money for the government and to fund public services.

Poorer families, families with more children of elderly, or the mentally, or physically challenged are given tax refunds according to the age, and the overall working capabilities.

National Taxes are annually to keep taxation an easy go for the populous. There may be a lot of taxes, but they are low and guranteed to fund necessary services.

OOC: Now, this may or may not actually apply in Xiaguo, but I'm just going -for the sake of my criticism- to imagine that the Sinoese attack was somehow against Beth Gellert. Those 4,000 detonations per hour would not be 4,000 detonations per hour, as we'd be a tiny bit interested in disabling the delivery vectors of such warheads as were supposed to detonate against us. BG has a good deal of counter-battery and missile programmes, which may not be echoed in Xiaguo, I don't know, but they may be in some form.

But then of course the platforms, whatever they may be, have to assemble across a gigantic front for a co-ordinated assault to yield that level of universal perfect destruction, anyway. I'm sure that somebody better versed in the subject can raise a few issues from that foundation.

I dunno, perhaps I just don't like wars that go from verbal posturing to nation-wide destruction at the drop of a hat. Or, more to the point, I'm not entirely comfortable with what I perceive to be the great level of similarity between Sino's IC actions and the player's OOC position on the 'conflict'. The blitz breaks the opposing nation's resistance, not the fellow player's will to play the resistance.

If Xiaguo has some sort of entrenchment system or some sort of fortification system the damage will be light, hitting mostly open surface to air missile batteries, open artillery locations, perhaps some tank parks, RADAR sations etc, but again, I doubt that the damage will be extensive.

It actually depends on the type of weapon used, and that I didn't look into specifically. If it was artillery/MSLR then the damage is going to be fairly light - I would say about a thousand and a half infantry maximum, and tanks, IFVs, artillery, fixed defensive emplacements, etc.

Flag Issues:

No flag burning is permitted under the Military Junta, but one flag had all it's copies burnt as a result of the ARSCF's crackdown on the separatist rebels. Across the lands of the Junta's government, every copy of the flag of 'Xiaguo' were taken down from flag staffs to be torned then burnt ceremonially. Following on, the Five-star Red Banners are then raised, to mark the legitimacy of China's authority.

Many of those who wanted to build a new, better, stronger, unified China were tricked into the communist fold. Many nationalists died for that flag in order to prevent the disintegration of China starting with Taiwan. To the separatists of the Rebel Beijing, our flag, the Five-star Red Banner, our sacred piece of clothwork, is just another piece of loincloth.

The Military Junta has adopted the PLA Aug. 1st Star (surrouned by twin Chinese dragons), does that make us communist?

Yeah, hundreds of Nationalist troops turned communist and formed the PLA overnight, but wait, Chiang slaughtered dirty filthy communists? Why would these KMT troops switch sides?

In a Traditional Distress, many cities and towns began flying the Xiannese flag upside down, which followed millitary assistance.

Sinoese, who have the upperhand at the garrisons at border, now almost 80 miles passed the original boundaries are becoming sucessful through the west, which literally had nothing but contruction works.

Compared to the East, where the Xiannese, who are to outnumber the Sinoese, now thining their troops to attack across the border will meet an extremely large force which retreated North.

During the whole retreat, the Xiannese had managed to prepare for several attack forces. The Xiannese had adpated the Tang-Song dynasty millitary organization.

For Example
Structure of a platoon of 50 men:
A group consists of 3 fighting men
A section consists of 3 groups or 9 fighting men
A platoon consists of 5 sections or 45 fighting men

Including:
Civil Commissioner
Platoon Commander
Assistant PC / flag bearer
Two flag bearers

The former number of troops, 20,000 which can only be moved by the Emperor, have now dropped to help encourage military heads to dispatch troops accodingly.

The Tang dynasty adopted the Sui military system but it was much more stringent organisation. The military system was called Fubing system (府兵制).

The central command was divided into 12 weis (卫). In each wei, there was a commander-in-chief (大将军) and two generals (将军). The military units used across the country were called Zhechong Fu (折冲府), each headed by a military director (折冲都尉) and a vice director (左右果毅都尉).

There were 3 categories of Zhechong Fu, depending on the number of soldiers as follow:

Upper Fu commanded 1,200 men
Middle Fu - 1,000 men
Lower fu - 800 men

Under each fu, there were divisions: regiments (团), companies (旅) and huos (火). Each huo contained 10 soldiers. Teh army had two tasks: to defend the imperial court in the capital and organise local defence.

Unit: Commander
Second-in-command

部 bu Division: 将军 jiangjun General
统军 tongjun Lieutenant - General

军 jun Regiment: 军主 junzhu Colonel
军副 junfu Lieutenant-Colonel

队 dui Company: 队主 duizhu Captain
队副 duifu Lieutenant

Other less formal ranks:
幢主 chuangzhu Detachment Commander
戍主 shuzhu Garrison Commander

Having reclaimed a fair section across the divide, another major assault was conducted, this time sweeping only east from Nanjing, in a bid to reach the coast, forces North of Shanghai began moving forward for the same objectives.

Another intensive bombing by H-8s and JH-15s dropping bunker-busters, cluster bombs and napalms, routines grow tiring, but necessity overrides. No civilians were targetted, but the enemy's forces shall face destruction. With modern technology, one cluster bomb can deploy several hundred bomblets, all with visual recognition to aim straight for points of the weakest armor (tank turrets, etc.), no surprises for the modern commander that entire tank forces can be wiped out in a single raid. It looks like the entire ARSAF's bomber force is action. That's not an eclipse, it's a fly over!

Artilleries started their usual pounding, the stock of TBMs in the Chinese arsenal seems impossible to deplete. Salvo after salvo of shells, rockets and missiles did their usual pounding. They did what they were manufactured for.

In the East Sea, Type 092 subs began shadowing the remainder of the rebel navy. Difficult to tell their exact numbers but at least 100 subs are in action in the area.

Broadcasts of mercy promise to spare the lives of every rebel soldier, and low ranking officer, should they choose to end this failed cause peacefully. The dilutiuon of troop numbers quickly left security to the Stapapol.

Do not post what is in the minds of the Xiannese. The remainder of the navy? That was only a joint-operated naval body from Bohai and the South Xiannese Fleets. The remainder remains in Bohai Sea, and East China Sea.

Napalm strikes had turned deadly as a set of forest fires began, trapping soldiers inside. A hot season in the Southern parts can be a tough experience.

The thick fuel digged into the clothing of victims, which quickly incinerated them were considered subhuman. As the Xiannese were not as brutal as Sino, a deep wedge was hammered into Xiannese military prosperity.

"We do not wish to incinerate and cook our fellow Chinese." commented General Yang, returning with a completely cooked left leg, still smoking when he arrived at the medical tent.

Dozens of Russian engineered A-50's and A-30's began launching from missile silos from around the country as the Sinoese draw closer to Nanjing. Up into Nanjing, the populous has not been evacuated, along with any more cities North.

The A-30's, a short-ranged anti-baliistic missile has proven more sucesful in downing Sinoese missiles.

Once the Sinoese artilleries fired, and their position located, the Xiannese directed missile strikes immediatly at the enemy artilleries.

The broadcasts of SInoese propaganda were quickly cut off during sbaotages at night. Radio signals could still be picked up, but having seen bodies burned as dark as coal seemed to fuel the Xiannese to fight, rather than betray many friends, who now do not even need a cremation.

Over night, Unified People's Army forces stationed opposite the Xiannese border in what is called the Northwest Defence District have begun to stand-down from the banks of the dividing river across a front from Korea Bay to Hyeson. Much of their strength has been re-directed towards the coasts, east threatened by largely unexplained conflict in the East Sea, west against the possibility of Sinoese incursion.

Other elements have remained near the border area, but forward positions are clearly operating at a reduced capacity as the Xiannese face much declined Drapoel oppositon.

Cities in the CPRD have seen public displays recalling better days of Sino-Korean relations, with early Kurosites meeting Maoists as comrades in arms as the Central Directorature oversees an increase in war production. Oddly, most unique Drapoel equipments have seen no major increase in production rate, while Chinese or generic and stand-alone systems such as the old RPG-69-I, hand grenades, 14.5mm ammuntion, and other items are being turned out in boosted quantity and train yards see almost unprecedented activity, especially around the northern industrial centre of Kanggye.

In Hindustan, the HDF redistributes some of its units in accordance with the Portmadog (s.p?) agreements.

Traveling primarily by rail through the well-kept Hindustani train system, on which one can ride from Dhaka to Karachi in under a week, the 50,000 troops that comprise the reserve force stationed in Madhya Pradesh are moved into Bihar. This move is meant to put pressure on the southern Sinoese border so as to even-out, more or less, embattled Sinoese and Xiannese forces, and force a settlement.

With the exception of the 50,000-strong reserve force, the units deployed in Bihar and West Bengal already are some of the more experienced troops in the Hindustani military, having participated in actions in Burma, Nepal, and Indonesia. This move brings the total army strength in the northeast to 250,000. Counting the PLA in Kanendru and Igovian units, the total strength of the forces comitted to the Sinoese border will hopefully number close to a million troops.

Thousands of troops in the North have stayed in months of training, and had held their own wargames. Three out of five Xiannese soldiers were veterans in past wars.It is clear the iannese are not going to fight the Sinoese head on just yet. The Sinoese had already reached the outskirts of Nanjing, several hundred miles from the Southern Capital. Yet, the government had asked the citizens to leave, or stay in peace while the Xiannese army pushes on.

The Xiannese plans for victory:
-Hold the Sinoese off at the Changjiang (The Sinoese have crossed the Changjiang in pusuit of XIannese forces retreating to Nanjing.)
-Capture Shanghai.(The Xiannese Joint Beiyang and East Fleet ships were unsucessful in destroying the coastal defenses and retreated to Nantong for repairs.
-Liberate Three Provinces(The Xiannese lost Sichuan, Half of Hubei, and pockets of territory in Anhui and Jiangsu. The Sichuan Imperial Family had escaped to Xi'An)

The Xiannese Beiyang fleet revival, name of the Chinese Armada in the 1900's have been used for the new fleets in the North of newlt aquired ships and naval craft. The Beiyang fleet is said to have been docked in several ports and had not yet made any move.

The Civilians, glad they can safely leave any city were now becoming a problem in the North, where refuge camps are filling up. The Xiannese governemnt had allowed them to seek refuge in North Yamani, Spyrian, and Russian Camps located near the border.

As the northern sectors were ablaze in war, the Alpine Corp in the Sino-Indian borders were reinforced with four additional divisions from Tibet and Sichuan. Three new fighter wings of the new J-14 were to be stationed there as well. Round the clock patrol flights by J-12s and J-10s are to once again be an institution. Winter BDUs never looked so good on a fierce division of white tigers ready to repel a possible Indian invasion.

"Soldier, how old are you?" Gen. Liu asked a Tibetan boy politely.

"Seventeen and a half, sir!" The private's face was hairless except for eyebrows.

"Ah. Shouldn't you be at a monastry or university, son?"

"Not good enough for college and monastries all filled up, the Alpine Corp is the next best thing, sir!"

"Seventeen and a half, old enough to die for China?" Liu asked a very serious question.

"Sir, yes sir! Proud to keep the Hindu Commies out off Tibet!" Despite his accent, the private's message was clear to his leader.

Many took to the streets, and protested against the Sinoese, and had demanded the Xiannese to push on. Some grous had also demanded peace in the South while others just grabed on to anything red and marched down the streets.

Pte. Kan marched on with the rest of his regiment, personnel like him travelled on foot to help tanks and APCs spot, across the barren landscape of a once functioning Xiaguo base, nothing remains of its yesteryears other than the obvious statement of total destruction spelled out by artillery fire and napalm.

If you mix the smell of the barbequed corpses after Hiroshima being nuked, add a dash of burnt gasoline, hey presto, it's pure f*ckin' Sinoese destruction. Yesterday, first it was razed in just twenty minutes when the artilleries rained like hell from heaven, the next day a group (god know how large their were) of rebels cross this landscape and then the H-8s flew over them. They were barbequed like in the Korean War.
