Daniel blinked in surprise as Iz suddenly dropped into a heap next to him. Looking down at her, he sighed a little in goodnaturedness and picked her up, depositing her back in her own tent.

Dan nodded. He simoultaneously went about clearing some stuff up that he had kicked when waking up not much earlier.

"Yeah, it was pretty good," he said, chucking a jacket in his bag that had come loose. "Helped me go to sleep, actually." He grinned at her, then nodded at her tent. "Joe didn't give you no trouble, did he?"

"Fresh water!" Rossok announced, planting a sloshing bucket in the centre of the camp proudly. "If you want more, there is a stream near here." He walked off and sat down on a log, sulking some more.

The Commander was not waking up so Warfare decided to play Revelie

It was obvious Revelie wouldn't work. Warfare decided to try a diffrent approach. He split his voice into Seperate distinct female voices, and sang "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy of Comapny B" at the top of his voice. He even caused the Air to vibrate so that it was as though the accompaning music was playing.

Daniel smiled, pleased that his idea seemed to be interesting.

"Well, it's not completely planned or anything," he said, rubbing his head. "But doing something together after this is all over would be good. After all," he grinned. "We'll know eachother pretty well after all this."

As long as you point to where the RP has declined to such extremes that you believe it deserves that label - a point that I cannot see personally but - hey, it's your thread.

Warfare kept trying to get the Sargent to wake up so he could talk to him about his children, so hecould leave to go back to paradise, and eventually so the Slivers could return home.

Jeep gently fell asleep as he waited for Sarge's answer. He had long ago mastered the soldiers trick of sleeping whilst standing up with you'r eyes open, and so he made use of this skill.

Bilko awoke, got up, rubbed his eyes, looked, rubbed them again. Thats funny, I don't remember dragging a statue all the way over here. Wait a sec.... thats Cadet Jeep

The Sargent was finally awake. the 12 foot illusion of a man walked over to him, stepped through him to stand in front of him, turned around and stated the following.

"I can see that you are the one in charge of the camp just over yon hill" Warfare stated, indicating the Military camp.
"I do not know if you know or not, but, three large snake like creatures known as Slivers have been terrorizing your people with their simple presence. Rossok seems to actually be slightly intrested in them though. The point is, They are not from this planet, They come from a far away planet known as Riptide. They were accidentally transported here, to your camp, when a hole in the time-space continuum opened up. Now, I can take them back, but they have been terrorizing your people, and to do such a feat would require a lot of energy from me, theirfore I ask that they remain with you for a while to work of their debts. I have access to great riches and can well make it worth your while.

'I am confused' Izzy said standing up rubbing her head confused.

Bilko rubbed his eyes wearily. I only just woke up. Normally it takes many hours of hallucinations for this kind of thing. I'll humour him/it.

Warfare Snapped his fingers. The three Slivers reappered. Freshly Awoken, and ready for the day.

"Now, you three are going to do what he tells you to. When I feel you have worked off your debt, I shall bring you three home." Warfare said indicating the Sargent.

"Sargent, These are my children. I know it is early in the morning for you, but My children, the three large snake like creatures before you. Need to only eat the equivilant of a Grizzly bear once a week. They also Sleep outdoors, and cannot stand the unaturalness of a bed. When These humans training is over, I shall be back to take them home. Your word is law with them, just don't kill them."

So saying, Warfare simply disapated away like so much mist.

The Slivers were still there though, solid as the ground beneath them. The white one spoke up:

"Well, I guess we are here to stay. I have healing powers and would probably serve best as a docter, or even a nurse. The Blue one has great powers of Telepathy and Telekineses, and the one glowing orange here, he can store 40 gigatons of energy in any form. Currently, he is full of our native Æther from Riptide. What do we do first?"

'Bloody nora Sarge, you aint gonna recruit the buggers are you?' Jeep shook his head

It was that time again, The Essence slivers Skin was feeling a little to tight, and his nose was peeling. He Slithered over to an empty corner of camp where nothing overly fascinating was going on, and began twisting and turning in a highly fascinating pattern, scraping his scales along the ground. It took quite a while, but when he was done, he had shed his skin, his Talons were a little longer, he felt loose and free, and the best part of all, his new scales shone brightly underneath the sun. His old skin began to dry, it looked much like a corpse. Sense this was a common occurance, and Sliver Skins were extremly valuble depending on which breed it was, (His in particular made a potent general medicene when Ground and put into pill form. It also made bullet proof armor when properly treated), he lift it there.

Katrina, just finished taking a hit of ecstacy, looked over at the lizard thing.

"Mmm... shiny..."

IC:The Essence Sliver looked over at this new girl he had not preveously met.

"So, you do not fear me then? That is good, I am an Essence Sliver, I have great healing powers. The Blue one with the really big head is the Synapse Sliver. He has great Telepathy and Telekineses. The one that is Glowing orange, He is a reator Sliver, He can store great amounts of Energy in many forms. We are working our way home."

The Essence sliver slithered over and offered a friendly Talon in for a quick shake.

It was the Reactor Slivers turn next. He rubbed and draghed himself on the ground in a highly fascinating pattern. His skin on the other hand, simply disapated into Æther. He glowed extra bright.

"Do you shed your skin like we do?" The Essence Sliver innocently asked of Rossok.

"I only ask because you are the first being we have met that is not soft-Fleshed, and is completly natural in that respect.

"I did once, a few years ago," Rossok said to the Sliver. "Since then, I only seem to loose individual scales every once in a while. I like to think of it as my 'baby skin'... "

Instead of answering, the Slivers, thinking that she was supposed to be high like that, combined their minds, and made her have an everlasting high. All of the fun effects, without any of the bad ones, like coming down.

When he was finished he wiped his hands on a rag in his pocket and put away the various removed parts in pockets located around his person carefully.

Jeep was showered with sparks as he finished a welding joint to the accompanyment of heavy metal music in the background. He stepped back from the monstrous hunk of riveted metal sitting in the garage before him and the light glinted on his welding goggles. He inspected the inside for a second, then picked up a spanner and placed a ringing whack on the huge motor inside. Last, absolute final warning Serafima.

The Synpse Sliver felt really sorry for The woman they had just given a perm-high to. She seemed so antsy, but they couldn't let her wander like she wanted to, so he gauged the strength of her mind, and made her really, really, really exhausted. The Slivers would be extremly impressed if she could resist such a strong compulsion to fall asleep, but considering she was also High forevermore, the doubted she could resist. If the woman did fall asleep, The slivers planned on filling her mind with dreams of Frolicing in the sun back on the plains of Riptide with all the other slivers.

Izzy wanted a change of scenery.....she flicked her hair back...and tried to concentrate on lifting some weights....

From under the car Jeep was working on came the sound of loud snores. Well he had been working on it all night.

The morning afterwards he woke up with a crick in his neck. He releived his boredom by fasioning a scale model of the starship enterprise from used napkins.

Izzy came out of her tent, flicked her hair back and tied it under a bandana, she then set to work trying to lift some weights.

Izzy had had enough of the weights, she went and tried to cause a small explosion with a mix of chemicals and her aspirin tablets.

Katrina, asleep on the ground, looked at all the shiny things.

"Mmm..." she mumbled, "That's cool... shiny lizard thingies. It's almost like... yeah. I get it..."

One sliver investigated the explosien, the other two slivers tracked Izzy's movements still distrusting her from when she tried to shoot them, then again, they did have enough Æther in the Reactor sliver, they could..., No, not unless it was necassery, and if Izzy didn't settle down it would be, then nothing would be able to leave...

Jeep had not seen the Sargent in AGES, so he set out to train a dancing line of conga rats who could sing thier own accompaniment.

"Jeep! follow me back to camp! While I was gone I set up a challenge for all of you" The sargeant turned on his heel and marched off to the camp in the woods.
"CADETS! Listen up. Today we have our first challenge. Each of you will be given one of these" He held up a gun that although looked real, in fact aimed lasers. It was designed to be as realistic as possible, while not fatal.
"One of these vests and these goggles" He held up a vest with a pad on it and goggles to protect the eyes.
"You aim the laser for the vest. When it hits the vest it will send a small shock. This lets you know you've been hit. Once you've been hit you go down to the ground for 30 seconds.
No teaming up, if I catch anyone going around in pairs they'll be for it. No hitting a person on the ground, instant disqualification.
Aim for the chest only, at no point remove the goggles. These lasers could very easily kill if aimed wrongly so we're taking all available precautions.

Once Jeep had found a good spot behind a tree, he opened up the casing of the laser pistol he had been given. He unscrewed the focus lense of the beam and rerouted some wiring so that the gun would practically bathe the area with low level laser, enough to activate the chest sensors but not enough to hurt people.
He shut the case and span the gun round a few times, then grinned.

Jeep pulled down his goggles over his eyes and grinned. He pulled the trigger and swung the aim of the gun around the forest, spreading the widened beam around the leafy area. He had to stop himself from laughing out loud.
Sarge didnt say nuffin about not betterin the munitions

Unable to fire human weapons, the Slivers slithered around here, slithering there, causing as much confustion as the possibly could. Able to feel the presence of the Cadets, they alwys stayed out of sight, and yet stayed close enough that their constant slithering would eventually elevate from confusion to a near panic.

"OW!" said Katrina. "God damnit... how do I know that was Jeep?"

The sergeant stepped into the clearing where Gress was standing.
"CADET GRESS! When you are shot you go to ground! And if you so much as think of shooting me cadet" He said, looking into the trees, "I will climb up there and push you out of that tree"

"I'll heal anything you break or injure!" The Essence Sliver shouted from nearby.

"There you go Cadet, fall out of the tree, the nice sliver will heal you. But its ok, I understand you may be slightly apprehensive about jumping out of a tree."
He climbed up behind the cadet and shoved her out of the tree, onto a patch of moss. At least, that was the plan, but she missed it and landed on the hard earth.

The essence Slithered off in tears, the other two slithered after him to calm him down.

The sergeant cocked an eyebrow at the slivers then shook his head and turned back to the cadet.
"You are allowed to get up and resume fighting cadet."

"And if I don't? Trust me, I love shooting people as much as the next girl but I'm tired."

Tish delved into her bag and had a sneaky cigarette.

Jeep heard the Sargent arrange a match between him, and he mentally noted to get a good seat. The Sargents always liked to beat the living hell out of unruly cadets, but just occasionally the Cadets got thier own back in a match.......
He had personally found that out, he'd punched the Sargent out cold in a barefist match one time after a 'misunderstanding of orders', but then a day later the Sarge dragged him out of the barracks in the morning and beat six kinds of crap out of him. Which was a feat, because until then he had only found five types.
He scanned the forest ground for more cadets

Izzy found some binoculars and scanned back @ base, she saw Jeep. she started to frantically wave.

OOC: Whoops... I thought this RP had died already! Every time I looked at it, it was several days since the last post, and it's hard to find anything to post when it's like that...

Rossok hung upside down from one of the top branches of one of the trees; toying with the peculiar weapon he had been given. After nearly shooting himself in the eye with it, he decided to use it on other people instead of himself.

He let himself drop and grabbed a vine or some kind of old rope or something, and swung over the other cadets, roaring loudly. He started shooting at everyone he saw as he swooped overhead. As he finished his first pass, he roared in victory before slamming into the trunk of a tree so hard that the thick trunk seemed to bend slightly.

Luckily, the hard, sharp branches of that tree managed to break his fall as he tumbled down towards the ground. He slammed into the floor of an obscure part of the forest, winding himself. As well as hitting nearly every branch he had apparently taken them with him, as he had to cover his face when a hail of debris landed on him.

From under the thick pile of twigs and leaves, Rossok simply said, 'ow'.

Jeep saw Zack's vest giving him another shock as he was hit by the laser again. He was wondering when the Sarge would notice, as he was starting to smoke gently under his vest.

OOC: as it would appear this has died...

IC: The slivers were slthering away, they went through some bushes, but it was an awfully large amount of bushes, Warfare had smiled on them and transported them back home, via the bushes. The slivers found this out when they came through the other side and found a plain full of slivers. The three slithered around for a while and could not find the camp, realizing they were home again, the Slivers slithered off rejoycing. Warfare went back to the camp, and made a large Diamond appear in everyones pocket as a way of saying thank you, except for the sargent of course, he made two large diamonds appear in all of his pockets.
