All three met in Daniels room.

'I locked him in, I cant stand being in there anymore, i get in shit for his bladder problems' Izzy spat angrily.

He skidded to a halt outside a locked door. Darn, it's over, he sighed inwardly. He heard some peculiar noises coming from behind the door, but they weren't fighting noises. He shook his head and started walking outside again, sniffing around.

Once Joe was done, a section of the bed was bathed in a sickly pale cream, an unpleasant surprise for anyone, Joe clambered out of the bed, remaking it so Izzy would be shocked when a foul liquid stuck to Izzy's pyjamas.

Joe waddled over to the door, suddenly struck by a foul sense of diarrhea, he pounded at the door but it was no use, Izzy had locked the door and sealed her fate, that of a shit smeared room.

Joe ran to next to Izzy's bed and squatted, letting the watery excrete flow from his bowels to the spot next to Isabell's bed, making a small, unpleasant puddle. Joe wiped himself on some of Izzy's sheets and then decided to go and have a nap in his clean bed.

Dan inclined a hand, politely declining the cigerette. "Thanks, I don't," he said with a smile.

He was glad to see Zack perking up a little bit from being upset; Daniel quite liked the guy in a friendly sort of way. He glanced out of the window. 'There's certainly enough here to depress you,' he thought, before glancing back to the others.

"I'd enjoy them fast, if I were you," he said with a grin. "Don't want Sarge storming in on you both." He glanced out the window towards the armoury. "I wonder when we start fireams training," he wondered aloud.

Dan grinned. He liked Izzy - she had a carefree attitude to life in general. It made a nice change from the people he knew at home - most of them were sons of politicians like himself, so they usually focused on the more serious sides of conversation. It was good - Dan was really into politics - but it got a little tedious after a while.

"I'm glad you're on my side," he said to Izzy.

"Well, I'm sure as hell gonna try!" Zack had more self-confidence now. "I'm gonna try to get out of here as soon as possible. I'm not cut out to be in the military."

Daniel nodded again. "I don't blame you if you do; I'd want to be away from that git by as far as possible." He considered. "Sarge'd probably let you as well; you could say it was outdoors training." He winked.

Seeing she was cold, Daniel draped his military coloured jacket over her shoulders. He smiled. "Sun's going down - this place freezes up pretty quick."

"Well, I'm hungry. Who wanna come with me to the messhall?"

Daniel kicked his suitcase with the back of his foot. "If anyone wants anything, I nabbed some stuff and stuck it in there in case I got hungry." He grinned, looking across at the attractive girl leaning on him. "Never know when Sarge will put us on rations, eh?"

Zack looked at the two. Even though he was a dope-head, he knew when someone wanted their privacy.
"Well, you can find me either in the messhall, in my dorm, or trying to kill that fat idiot. See ya." And with that, Zack left the room, leaving Daniel and Izzy alone.

Daniel smiled at her. He usually wasn't a popular person with the fairer Gender at home; Politics bored most of the girls he knew, so he usually had nothing to talk about. Having the company of a nice-looking girl was a refreshing change.

"So," he said, trying to think of something to say. "What you planning to do after this whole thing?"

He mentally kicked himself for the lame comment, but it was spoken now.

'well if I am still alive, i will go back to Serafima and work still' she said, still with her arm around his waist.

Yebzer smelled piss. He had just done all his required physical work for the moment and had gone back to his room to play with his squirrels. That's when the smell hit him and he was overjoyed. He ran into his room and pulled out a rag running into Joe's room quickly soaking up the nerd piss and wringing it into a bucket.

"Amonia can be used as a cleaner and you can get amonia from piss...." He began telling Joe the in's and out's of extracting salt, amonia, and many proteins from piss...

Daniel thought about that for a moment. It was a harder question to answer than he thought it would.

"Probably enlist," he said finally, looking at her. "That's the reason I got sent here in the first place, so I'll do a few years in the Army and then probably end up in Politics, like my Father." He smiled, hesitatingly putting an arm around Iz as well. I was nice to just be sitting there, talking like old friends. No worries, no hang-ups, just...peace.

Daniel listened with interest. The girl had so much more of an interesting life than him, it was amazing that she was younger than he was. He'd thought of joining the Intelligence Services when he was a kid, still in the whole 'James Bond' phase, but the chance had never come to pass.

Hearing her question, he considered this. "Depends," he said finally. "Firstly, on if we have a war, and secondly on what I end up doing." He smiled. "Infantry soldier in wartime has more chance of dieing than the guy back at HQ who updates the tactical maps, so it all boils down to where I get allocated to."

IC:The Creatures were obviously not heard nor seen. The Slithered around looking for someone to help them contact riptide. they found a young human man and women talking to each other. It seemed as though they were close. once again, always friendly and eager to make new friends, the Glowing Creature let out a really loud, super frienmdly hiss and even waved this time. By some miracle, he even managed to smile, bearing all of his fangs. It truley was quite gruesome.

Vladimir stepped out of his room. He had done his pressups and situps a time ago, and he had been resting. Though he heard some noise, so he went out of his room. He smelled urine. Just like home in Sebytania. He walked on the hallway, and saw someone he had seen but hadn't really met cleaning up something in room 5. So Vlad knocked the doorframe and stepped in. "Ahem.. This ain't your room right? Why are you cleaning that mess then? Oh, and my name is Vladimir by the way. Vladimir Gagan."

Daniel blinked. He was a little unsure of how to respond to that one. Clearing his throat, he managed to form a sentence.

He heard a sharp hiss, and turned to look it its direction. A strange silvery creature sat there, baring fangs at him.

IC: The glowing creature looked at them in whatever would pass for interest on its face...if it even had a face in the common sense of the word. Daniel looked back at it, waiting to see if it moved, judging his options...

The creature dissapeared around the doorframe, obviously having seen enough. Daniel sighed, a little with relief, that the...whatever it was didn't seem to be offensive in any way.

"Oh pardon, my mistake. I believe introductions are in order then. I am what is known as a Sliver. My breed is refered to as Synapse Slivers. We have great mental capacity, Telepathy, and Telekinesis.

This White Sliver next to me, is refered to as an Essence Sliver. He has great healing powers.

The Glowing Sliver that is just now returning, is refered to as a Reactor Sliver. He can store great amounts of energy in his body, that we, the other breeds, can use to give use either a second ability, or better our first.

We come from a planet known as Riptide. There the Æther flows freely and protects us. We really want to go home. So, can you help us?

Demonstrating his powers of Telepathy, The Sliver immediatly tried to send a feeling of peace and calm to all the humans.

Daniel frowned down at the creature. "If I can ask," he said. "What the hell would you want to visit here for? There are nicer places for a First Contact."

"Truth is, we haven't got one," he explained to the creature. "This is an Army Cadet base, not a military science lab. I'm afraid Deep Space Communication is a little...out of our reach."

Izzy trembled as Dan put his arm around her shoulders and sighed.

Dan glanced back, and shook his head a little. He had thought of bringing a firearm, but concluded that they would be provided on site anyway, so little trouble could happen that he could think of.

"Oh beg pardon, I do hate to intterupt your little quiet time, but this is a military base. If you want to meet people, River-Rise has some very nice clubs. Its about 300KM to the north. Now we're all going, tonight we're sleeping out in the woods. I'll be teaching you all how to take care of yourselves out in the wild, sentry duty and all that. At all times there will be two people on sentry duty.... Who I will pick. So come on, move it out people!"
He went through the camp, relaying the message.

Daniel let Iz have a word with the Sarge, and began putting some stuff together for going out into the woods - couple of peices of food, warm jacket etc. One thing Daniel was beginning to learn about the Army game; be prepared.

Zack heard about the camping trip, and immediately figured out that out there, he could escape. If he could only get to a city with a Cottish consulate or embassy, he'd be saved! In the meanwhile, he packed.

izzy quickly ran to her dorm, undid the door and put a peg on her nose, she ran in and collected her clothes from the contraband store which Joe hadnt shat on...yet, and found her big parka jacket, she ran back to Daniels dorm.

They marched in a straight line outside to an area of the forest, where he had cleverly set up tripwires before, just to stop them escaping. "PICK THOSE LEGS UP! MARCH I SAID, NOT STROLL!"

izzy quickly ran to her dorm, undid the door and put a peg on her nose, she ran in and collected her clothes from the contraband store which Joe hadnt shat on...yet, and found her big parka jacket, she ran back to Daniels dorm.

'sorry darling about the smell, I cant stand it, theres shit everywhere' she said, taking the peg off her nose.

Daniel chuckled as he finished grabbing his stuff together. He dropped the remaining items into a military-issue backpack and swung it onto his shoulders, testing the weight.

"Yeah, I don't blame you - Sarge gonna let you swap rooms or something?"

As Jeep went past Izzy's and Joes dorm he almost chocked on the smell escaping
'Hells bells, what died? You could cut bloody blocks from that stink,'

Shortly, they all found themselves marching out into the woods.

Izzy and Dan were right at the back of the line.
She grabbed his hand, and looked up and smiled at him.

He finished making the cleaner, drawing the salt, and extracting the protein. He bottled the different things and packed his bags running out to the field joining in the line and marching to the campsite nonchalantly.

Jeep took the goggles he wore round his head on his fringeline off for a second, wiped the sweat away then replaced them. Soon after he started quietly singing an old marching song 'Tell me how's your love life Jack'

Daniel smiled back at Iz for a moment, concentrating on getting the marching thing right and not drawing the wrath of the Sergeant.

They were getting deeper into the woods as the sun dropped. Daniel wondered for a moment if those Slither things were still out here, looking for the Relay. He hoped they wouldn't be too pissed.

Iz carried on marching, even though she wanted to hold Daniels hand, the woods were so dark, shadows moved, her eyes couldnt adjust- she jumped at the crack of a branch.

Jeep swore for a second as the thing he was fiddling with with his screwdriver slipped slightly in his hands. With a firm final twist of the tool a huge light illuminated the path ahead.
'Bingo lads, got it of'f one of the jeeps back at base' He saw the glare of the sargent
'Dont worry Sarge I can put it back' He grinned

'Lads!' Izzy exclaimed from the back of the line with Jeep.

'Dan, I can hear hissing' izzy said grabbing his hand.

Dan glanced around as he marched along. He hadn't heard anything around, but started listening.

"We'll be there soon, anyway." He smiled.

'Sarge, I 'ate to sound like a bleedin five year old, but when are we gonna get there? Me extremities av' frozen through. And I do mean me extremities.'

Zack, marching in the very back of the line, looked around and saw the sarge in front of the collum. Swiftly, he ran into the woods. He got 100 meters before he stumbled.

'Hope so' she smiled, adjusting her backpack.

'I wanna be on the night shift with you, seeing as Kat isnt here, u could ask the sarge' Iz asked, quietly, her warm breath heating up his cold ear.

After struggeling with the barbed wire for 10 minutes and several nasty gashes in his legs, Zack couldn't take it anymore.

Izzy salvaged a first aid kit from her bag, and bandaged his leg.

Yebzer was in a singing mood. So he wouldn't stop for a while. He'd probably pass out from his lack of air once he was done though. So he began another song.

'He just needs some blood, and looking after' she said, wiping her sweaty brow.

'phew...lets get him back to the hospital area' she said.

He looked over the operation shaking his head quickly as he walked over and ripped off the bandages with ease. He took out a bottle of amonia and cleaned the wound ignoring the screams from Zack as fresh amonia hit his flesh burning it. He wrapped a large and very tight bandage around the burning area securing it with his spit.

"That should work."

"Thanks. I was just going to... the toilet. Yeah. The toilet, when I tripped over this thing." - he pointed to the barbed wire - "next thing I know, I'm lying here, bloody and all. Hurts like *censored*!"

Daniel dropped his stuff on the ground in a particular place, along with his tent equipment that he would have to put up. He gave a grin in the direction of Iz as she set up her own kit, and Daniel looked up as Zack tried to negotiate his way out of night watch with the Sarge.

Iz set down her stuff and set up her tent in super fast time.

He turned to the sergeant gesturing at the bucket. "EVERYONE! From now on piss in this bucket!" He laughed like a madman rubbing his hands together as he began walking doing the perimeter swinging his hooks with each step.

Izzy groaned, she wanted to be with Daniel not some science nerd who was obsessed with urine.

Daniel finished setting up his tent and chucked the rest of his stuff inside. He looked up; he could just see the moon through the treetops above. He rubbed his hands together. It would be a cold night.

He glanced over to where Jeep and Iz were having a conversation. He smiled. He was pretty lucky to meet some good friends whilst he was here - friends he hoped he would keep after leaving the place. He had some ideas for this, but they needed thinking about...

"Thanks... I think.." he said to the guy from Camel Eaters. He looked around, and saw Jeep and Izzy talking. "Good night all. Good luck tonight Izzy." Zack said before turning and limping towards the tent.

He crawled into the tent Jeep had raised and found a good position inside his green army-issue sleeping bag. Within 5 minutes he was sound asleep.

Jeep smiled and rolled his eyes.
'You'v already got me Jacket. Hehe, all right then.' He hugged her, lifting her slightly off the ground.

'awww thanks darling' she said, kissing his stubbly cheek, she walked back to where daniel was.

'You alright now?' she asked, standing in front of him.

'Your gonna be lonely in your tent, I gotta deal with the piss- loving nerd' she giggled,

"i Have Told You Repeatedly, Keep Your Hands To Yourselves. Now Go To Sleep! All Of You, Except Izzy And Yebzer, Now!!!"

Izzy gave Dan a quick kiss then bundled him into the tent.

'Dont get into trouble on my account' she smiled, zipping up the tent.

'Woops, sorry Sarge.' Jeep ducked into the Tent where Zack was already asleep. He checked Zacks sleeping bag to see if any blood had seeped through from his leg. It was clean so he climbed into his own and laid back.

Yebzer turned slowly. His eyes grew larger and his face shook with anger.

"Look here! I defended my country in time of need and my money goes to my sister in Birmingham! Don't insult me because I know how to make the best of something!"

He turned quickly and kept patrolling singing loudly.

Dan got his stuff sorted when he was in the tent, and then proceeded to lie down on the sleeping bag and attempt to doze off.

Outside, the wind blew through the trees. He could hear some of the other Cadets snoring or shuffling in their own tents, and faintly Daniel could hear Iz singing. He smiled, and closed his eyes, concentrating on the sound.

Jeep listened to the singing outside, usually it would have probably helped him to sleep, but instead all the lines of sailing was having a different effect. His bladder was reminding him of this. He snuck past the Sargents tent and all the others
'Dont mind me love, but I aint been since at base y,know?' He said quietly to Iz as he snuck past
'Dont tell the sarge' He said to the two night shifters

Yebzer sighed slowly as he jumped into the firelight singing at the top of his lungs as he whirled the blades in his hand quickly until they became a blur.

IC: Greasy Joe arrived late, he saw the slut singing, whom he promptly called a daft cow but he doubted she could hear him over her hideous singing, then another song started, a male voice was doing the singing this time and the sing was nowhere near as annoying as Izzy's one.

Joe Salter quickly set up his makeshift bed, a bunch of the spare blankets meant for Izzy's bed and his sleeping bag, so Joe settled down to rest, his Gordon plushie hugged tight to his chest.

"Jesus Christ..." said Katrina. "What the hell is that damn racket?"

She then turned the corner and saw Isabelle and Yebzer. Recovering from her initial shock, she sat down, picked up her CD player, and blared Metallica as loud as she could. Finding that that didn't work, she opened her fake lipstick canister and took a hit of ecstacy.

"Damn, man... anyone got a... whatsitcalled... hip flask?"

Yebzer smelled drugs. He turned quickly and looked at Katrina who was blasting Metallica. He laughed throwing a hook at her. It landed where her head would've been had she been sleeping he readied another and nodded at the fake lipstick raising his eyebrows slightly when he then nodded at the Sarge's tent.

IC: The Slivers were very upset. They had Slithered all over the forest looking for the Deep Space communications array. They could not figure out why they had been lied to. Sure they were unusual, but they had been absolutly polite. So why had that human female lied to them. The Synapse Sliver could feel their minds nearby. It wasn't enough that they had been lied to. Now those humans were out here to do something else to them. They were Quivering with rage. With a single voice the slivers let out a hideous Roar that drove off all the wild life and sent the birds winging away in fear. It could be heard for miles around, and it was obvious to all that heard it that something was pissed...

It was early morning by now, the sun just peering over the horizon. Rossok had been unable to sleep for very long in the low night's temperature. He was used to sleeping outdoors, but he was also used to doing so in warmer countries than this. Temperatures below 5 degrees celcius would almost certainly kill him if he slept for too long, so he'd spent most of the night waking up and warming himself up again.

At about 4am he'd given up, and unable to warm himself through traditional means, decided to find something to eat. He'd apparently been successful as he emerged from the foliage into the tent-filled clearing with blood dripping from his mouth, and what was probably a rabbit in his left hand. After catching such a creature with his bare hands (a feat which was, by no stretch of the imagination, 'easy'), he was suitably warm for his body temperature to stabilise on its own again.

He sat down unenthusiastically on a log, with his back to the camp. He took one last bite of the small mammal and tossed the carcass over his shoulder, and started wiping the blood off his hand onto the log.

Snoring. He heard snoring. He turned to look at the tents curiously. He couldn't tell for sure, but he thought one of the loudest snoring mammals was the female. He snorted in amusement and muttered something in Ghargonian, but quickly jerked his head up as he heard a roar in the distance. His head cocked sideways curiously, his body dropped into a crouching ready-position. It was a loud roar. He wondered if...

He threw his head back, opened his large jaws, and let out his own deep, bellowing roar in response. He put all the air he had into making the roar as loud as he could, until he finally ran out and stopped. He looked down again and awaited a response. If it wasn't who he hoped it was, he instead hoped that these soft skins had brought some weapons with them. Whatever it was sounded big and angry.

Izzy woke up in a funny position on the floor.....

Rossok's head moved sideways slightly as he heard movement from the camp. It was the female, Isabelle, awake.

"You," he snapped quietly. "Do you know what sorts of large predators live in the woods here?"

'Yes I do, but I dont care, I have a gun hidden down my bra' she said, smiling as she saw Rossok.

Rossok looked at her for a few moments, his eyes narrowed. Occassionally he glanced down at her chest to see if he could make out the shape of a firearm down there, then looked back up again. After a short while he shook his head in disbelief.

"How many guns could you possibly need?" he exclaimed. "Never mind... are there likely to be large predators here or not? I need to know what I just heard..."

'I dont know, can i come in with you, i am so cold its unbelievable' she said, rubbing her arms, her nose was red cold.

"I'm sure you are very cold," Rossok snorted. Sometimes he wondered if the soft skins realised what they had. "Yes, you can come. Try not to shoot anything though... me especially..."

He gave her another odd look, and then started heading North-West, in the direction of the roar he had heard.

His tent was soooo warm, she snuggled up and heat came back to her body.
'Ross, do you want me to come with you? I have firearms?' she asked,

"I don't think weapons would be a good idea," he called back. "Not if it's them, I don't want to scare them off..." he trailed off and disappeared into the foliage again.

'well.....'she said dropping her weapon and chased after him.

'whose........them?' she asked.

"It was a noise unlike most animals around here," he said, snapping off tree branches to clear a path as he went. "But it was definitely a roar. I'm wondering if they are looking for me."

'who are looking for you?' she asked,

"Hopefully, my people," he said casually. He jumped over a small ditch and kept walking.

'why would they come for you, arent they happy your here?' Izzy asked, finding it hard to keep up.

'I dont think its wise you leaving the camp, I will get in so much trouble, and then i wont get to see....dan....anymore' she said trailing off.

"I do not believe they left me intentionally," Rossok said. "To go to the trouble would imply... a purpose, a mission or something. I have no purpose, no mission. No idea who they are, even."

He snapped an especially bushy branch out of the way and stopped walking. Barbed wire, hidden in the grass. Beyond was an empty field.

"It doesn't look like we are going to find anything anyway," he snorted unenthusiastically. "Let's go back."

He turned around and started to walk, but stopped. He bent down and studied the ground for a second.

"These are my tracks," he said, pointing at the clawed footprints. He pointed at the smaller boot-tread footprints. "These are your tracks. Whose tracks are those?" He ran a claw along a peculiar groove in the ground, that seemed to run all over the place.

'I dont know, i can definitely see yours and mine, it looks like a tail mark' Izzy said shining her torch.

The Synapse Sliver could feel her coming closer.
"We should deal swift retribution." Thought the Essence Sliver.
"Let me practice my skills in crafting explosens with my energy stores" Thought the Reactor Sliver.
"Perhaps they just don't realize how powerful we are. You two have good ideas but lets reserve them for later. There is another mind with her, but this one is strangely similar to our own." Thought the Synapse sliver. Raising his voice he shouted to the female that lied to him:

"So You come back to do more to us? What is it now, death? We were absolutly polite, I realize we might be strange to you, but is that any real reason to Lie? If you didn't know what we were talking about, you should have just said so. We Slithered all around this forest looking for a Deep Space Comunications array, and now that we've realized you lied to us, your going to suffer the consequences."

To the being with the similar mind (OOC: Rossok) he yelled:
"Brother, I would advise you to stay away, this human female you are near lied to us yesterday when we were at your concetration camp simply looking for help. All we wanted was a deep Space Communications Array, and she lied to us, now we are going to have to do unpleasant things in Retribution."

"What the frek are those, and how are they in my head?" Rossok growled, scratching at his head as though he were being tickled. "What lies? What are you? Deep Space Communications Array? What's going on?"

Izzy heard this and froze.

'Look, i am on night watch, if you go to the plains, there is one around there, almost like a portal, honest to god, my people have done tests' Izzy said smiling.

"I have Great powers of Telepathy" shouted the Synapse Sliver "Since it would appear you can share our Hive mind but know nothing of us, allow me to show you, as a series of momories, what we are, where we come from, and and all that happened yesterday."

The synapse Sliver copied his memories into the other mind and made the other mind play them out. Memories of What a Sliver was, memories of the BORG doing their horrible genetic testing. Memories of triumph when the BORG were utterly destroyed by the Slivers. then Memories of Frolicing un the green fields of Riptide. Memories of the Æther Somehow bringing them to the camp and of all that had happened yesterday.

The Synapse Sliver slithered up behind the woman quietly and suddenly picked her up by the foot with her tail carrying her to upside down by the single foot. Using telepathy, he temporaraly paralized her.

"Fine then, but you lied to us once, now your going to go with us and show us, if you have lied to us, then you will be breakfast."

"Well that was weird," Rossok said, leaning on a tree. "Like they put a pole through my ear holes..." He shook his head and banged on his ear holes, like his ears had popped.

"If you're looking for a communications array that won't take a thousand years to send a message to your home" Rossok shouted. "You won't find one around here. Ten years ago when I was a kid, I had a toy that spoke to me. When these people found me, they took it off me and built a super computer out of it! They don't have arrays like that!"

I know how to make one. I Realize that this planet may not have the same supplies Riptide does, but I also know of a few friendly civilizations I can borrow Communication lines from to speed it up and redirect it.

The Sliver dropped the Woman.
"It would appear you lied to us then. I won't eat you yet, instead I will just make you help build the Communications array.

"You're still not going to find anything like that from here," he said. "This is a training camp, to train warriors in the arts of battle. The closest things these people have to communication arrays are those giant satellite dishes they have all over the planet."

Izzy ran back to the tents, dragging Rossok with her.
'Run!' she shouted, piling him in the tent.

The Slivers Slithered into Full View of the honest person. They were a bit shocked to find not all sentient Reptilloids looked like giant snakes. They Quickly realized that was not a fair assumption.

"Will you help us?" All three asked in unison.

"You've barged into my head without asking..." Rossok said. "You should know as well as I do that I had no idea what a 'deep space communications array' was until you told me. And that'll be the reason why that soft skin lied to you, too; these people are afraid of me, let alone... you. Bursting into their brains doesn't help anything! She was probably trying to get rid of you."

'Ross!' Izzy asked,

The three Slivers Bowed their heads and prayed to the ancestor Spirits for help. An single ghost appeared and told them it would not be possible for the Ancestors to build a Wormhole to Riptide, but perhaps Warfare could.

Slowly he appeared, first an outline, then some small detail, and finally their he was, a Giant of a Man. Warfare stood at 12 feet exactly. He had Red hair and Red eyes. He glowed with Divine power. With just a slight nod he directed the Slivers to follow him. He walked directly into camp, the Barbed wire not even regestering. The Slivers were unharmed thanks to their scales.
Warfare simply stood at the edge of camp and waited for someone to come talk to him. He wanted to leave again, Paradise was so much better than here.

"You seem to be the most powerful one here, Would you be the base commander then?" Warfare simply asked.

"We Weren't..." The Synapse Sliver started.

"My Children have had very little contact outside their species, they do not yet know the extent of their powers, Please forgive them, They were not trying to "Barge" into anybody's head.

"Who? Me?" Rossok asked. "No, that'd be the Sergeant over there. Today's just gone straight off the end of my weird-o-metre..."

'lets go, leave them' she said, grabbing his warm scaley hand.

"What, frek him off and leave him alone with the sergeant and all the guys?" Rossok whispered. "If this creature is dangerous then I'm sticking around! I've never run away from a fight before, and I'm not about to start now."

"I have power yes, I have lots of power true, but, I am sworn to help my children the Slivers. I know she lied to my children I share their thoughts. But a lie is of no consequence, Currently Madam you have no need to worry, a quick look around the camp will tell you they are not here, I sent them to a Clearing on the other side of the forest. I will only stand here, I wish to speak to the base comander, then I will leave."

So saying He folded his arms across his chest and looked like he intended to make a day of it.

she got her gun out and pointed it at the creatures.
'Leave or I will fucking blast your brains out' she said, flicking the safety lock.

"That sounds familiar," Rossok said, backing away from the creature. He hated getting shot. "Hey, what's your name, Isabelle? Keep calm, Isabelle... he just wants to talk..."

'I have had enough of these creatures, just leave us alone, i am sure the lab can help you out, we can send you back into space' she said, tucking the gun down her bra but leaving her top unzipped.

'we really cannot help you, as Daniel said this a military camp not a space array' she said, lighting up a cigarette.

All Izzy wanted was for Daniel to burst out of the bushes and save her and Ross, she hadnt shot anyone for 1 month, she was getting so bitter and stressed her kept her calm.

"Well, maybe the sergeant can give them directions or something," Rossok said. "I'm going to find some fresh water, I'll be back in a few minutes."

'Ross, dont leave me with them' Izzy squealed following closely behind Ross.

"I Told you before, young woman, They are not here anymore, I am the only one here, by the way Shooting me would be quit Futile because I am not really here, I would explain it to you, but I highly doubt you would understand."

In demonstration, Warfare walked through a nearby tree, proving he was an illusion, but he still doubted the woman would understand.

"If you were thinking of shooting my children, I would advise against it. I can send them back to Riptide but I am going to make them Work first to repay it. You obviously need much training in the art of War, and Diplomacy. If a little thing like seeing a large snake that only wants to go home scares you, you would never do well in a battle.

"We've got to get back to the camp," Rossok said once they were out of earshot. "Warn them. Just in case they need to do battle." He stopped and held up his hand for a second. "Stop for a second... yes, I can smell them... It's this way."

He pointed with one of his clawed fingers and started moving in that direction.

'I am as hard as nails, if you had seen the damage I have done to people some cant speak anymore- its just theres some things i cant take' she said,

'I am only 17, i have much to learn, i am already ahead of others in my field' she said.

"Would you like to see something special, perhaps it would help you calm down. If you wish, I can show you some of the prettiest sights in creation. I can show you things no human has seen before, things words cannot describe. I do not want you to have a nervous breakdown. People tend to lose control in such situations.

Jeep woke up and pulled on his slightly oily uniform blearily. He stumbled out of the tent and made his way over to the camp fire. When he got three steps from the camp fire he realised he had walked through a giant figure standing in the way.
'Hells bells, ow' much did I ave last night eh?' He shook his head and looked round for the water tin.

'Jeep!' Izzy said, hearing action back at the camp, she ran....

'What, them beans? I tole Sarge they was off, ee dint listen did ee?' He looked round and saw the silvery creatures again, he reached round for a grip spanner hanging on his tool belt and his hand gripped it firmly
'You lads again? I thought you got the idea last time, we aint got a space communy thing round ere, thats NASA that is, and you know them blokes down there, tryin to get parkin money from them is a job an a half.'

"I told you it was that way," Rossok nodded after she'd bolted. He kept walking until he emerged into the camp as well, and stopped in his tracks when he saw the figure. Again.

"You get around a bit, don't you?" he said, cocking his head curiously.

"I guess not..." warfare said.
"Are you the base commander?" Warfare inquired?

"How many times do I have to tell you mortals that the Slivers aren't here at the moment?"
"If you are not the base commander than leave me alone."

'Look, what do yer want eh? We aint got what yer want, so hows about you try somewhere else eh? Or wait for the Sarge.' He turned to Iz
'When in doubt, fob it off to the Sarge.' He winked 'Advice thats held me well'

"Look, I am not a Sliver, the reason that I, a 12 foot illusion of a man, am glowing, is that SURPRISE!, I am their GOD. The Sincere belief of 1.488 Billion Slivers give me my powers. If you continue to upset me I shall summon a Vizzidrex to occupy you. I want to speak to the base comander and I want to speak to him NOW.

Little bolts of energy began running through his body as he began losing his patience.

"Yes Rossok they did."

'Thanks Jeep' she said, hugging him again, a hard cold object pushed against his chest.

'oops' she said, pulling out the gun from her slightly viewable bra.

Daniel woke up as he heard loud voices outsighed. Muttering under his breath, he got off his sleeping bag and grabbed his combat jacket, wrapping it around his shoulders.

Stepping outside, he looked across at the others that were there, one of which was unfamiliar looking. Frowning, he folded his arms. "What the Hell is going on and who the Hell is he?" The young man demanded in a tired and irritated voice.

'Dan?' Izzy asked, seeing a dark figure.

Daniel looked across the encampment. "Yeah, it's me. Someone want to tell me who the new guy is?" He nodded at the one who he didn't recognise.

"Typical," Rossok snorted, and wandered off to sit somewhere.
