6 months after the fall of the Rebellion...

Coruscant. The City-Planet, the seat of the Empire, and home to trillions of beings...

Imperial technicians were hard at work, defrosting several carbonited former members of the dead Rebellion. Once done, they laid the young and the old on sickbeds, waiting for them to awaken.

I groaned as I came to, a pounding headache bursting through my head. My siblings, Grandpa Alex, Naruto and Master Soloran soon followed me to the land of the awakened. The first thing we noticed is that we were blind.
Hibernation sickness.

"W-where are we?" I asked.

"Imperial Center, young Masaki." One of the doctors said. "The Rebellion is dead."

I fought a wave of panic and anger, forcing them down. "Oh. How long before vision clears?"

"Not long. I suggest you lay here until it clears. Couple minutes at the most."

As the docs looked over us, pronounced us healthy and walked out, I used the minutes to figure out what's what nowadays. If the Rebellion's dead, then I guess there's no need to fight the Empire anymore. Naruto suggested escape, but Grandpa shot that idea down, because there are millions of troops on Coruscant, not to mention the fact that we'll be dead if we tried escaping in a ship. Currently, we Jedi could feel the Force, but it'd be only a matter of getting inhibitors close to us, I knew, so all thoughts of escape fled immediately.

Soon, our vision cleared, and we could view our surroundings. It is obviously a sickbay, but where on Coruscant, we don't know. Our weaponry was on a large table, oddly enough, and we strapped them on. Now, all we have to see is what the Empire wants with us, because clearly, we're not dead. Oh, yeah, that reminds me.

"Fiona," I smirked evilly.

"What?" My sister didn't like the evil look on my face. I reached out, and touched several remotes, activating them. They flew straight for Fiona, shooting weak laser bolts.

"Wha--? Hey! Quit it!" She protested, as she struggled to deflect and dodge all the stinging bolts.

Grandpa and Master Soloran smirked, letting her know how much trouble she is in for endangering herself and the Twins like this. "You should have stayed home with your mother, young apprentice. Coruscant is not a good place to be for little Jedi."

"HEY! Don't call me little, Gramps! No one calls me little and gets away with it!" Taylor growled. Jacob snickered, knowing how much his twin hates to be called small, little or any synonyms of short, even if not directed straight at him.

"Oh, I'm sorry." Grandpa sarcastically replied. "I didn't mean to say that...my short youngling."

A fuming Taylor was soon held up in midair by Grandpa's telekinesis, his loud mouth duct-taped by the time Fiona finished her punishing practice.

"So...what do we do now?" Naruto asked.

I shrugged. "Wait for Thrawn or someone to talk to us about what they need from us. That's all we can do right now."

Naruto folded his arms impatiently. "You know I don't like waiting..."

"Yeah, I know. Oh well, there's still a few things to do here." I said, beckoning the remotes to strike at me...

Grand Admiral Thrawn had within the space of six months gained complete favour with the emperor. Capturing the Jedi and in fact ending the rebellion was a joyous day. The Empire would now be able to grow and trade, in an ordered way rather than the hectic democracy of the old Republic.

Life went on and so did wars. With the destruction of the Palpatine and the removal and disablement of many Star Destoryers a complete reform of the Imperial army had been ordered.

Now that Kaminos had been restored to its operational capacity the Empire was disbanding conscripted storm troopers and replacing them with far superior clone troopers. Ship yards were working above maximum producing as many ships as possible, including the reconstruction of the SSD Palpatine. which was scheduled for completion in another two months.

The Rebel world was also flourishing. Trade had increased and so had arms. With a fully operational shield generator and fusion bombs placed on the world itself the Empire had assured that they would no longer attempt a rebellion, their people had tasted peace and Thrawn was confident they would want to keep it.

Walking down the corridor, Thrawn noticed his Nohgri bodyguard checking a room just ahead. Assassins were rumoured to be everywhere, Lord Vader was not to happy to be ousted from the emperors favour.

Entering a lift Thrawn descended towards the medical bay where he would meet the released Jedi. They were no longer as expendable as once thought. Leaving the turbo lift Thrawn entered and prepared to convene with his fallen enemies.

Two remotes lay in pieces, having been slashed apart by my lightsaber as I concluded my warmup and Taylor returned to the ground. Yup, I'm still up and at it! Then we heard someone walk in.

"Grand Admiral Thrawn." Alex nodded smoothly as the white-uniformed blue admiral stepped in, petting a ysalimari in his arms like a cat, and flanked by his Noghri bodyguard. "A..belated pleasure to meet you."

I scowled, knowing how well he tricked us.

Hihi, you dont mind if I join, do you? If you do, please just ignore this. I realize that my tech is a bit...unusual.

The Harmonian ship looked rather out of place amoung the huge metal constructs, especially the sails.
The HMS Pegasus was more than just novel though, it was a real marvel of thaumaturgic engineering. Its sweptback hull and sidemounted sails indicated that it was not any mere converted sailing ship as was most of the Harmonian navy. The ships wooden hull was painted with a mix of black and red, resulting in an interesting countershade effect.
"This is the HMS Pegasus. We are currently escorting Harmonian diplomatic representatives, we request priority landing. Some rather unpleasant men attempted to hijack our ship, they have sevearly damged our drive systems and wounded a number of the crew.. If landing is not possible we would like somewhere to stop seeing as our ship has just lost power, tha-BZZZZZZZZ"
The comm operator looked up from the crystal.
"Its no good sir, with the main power crystal out were as good as dead without help. The Goblins say they cant budge it without proper tools, and all of those went out the hole in the side."
"Damn." Captain Rust swore, "What else is wrong? I mean aside from everything not working"
"Well, sir, were plunging toward the planets energy shield and I dont think theyre going to turn it off so we can crash land."
"Ha. Ha. What about the weapons?"
"We lost one of the main cannons with the boarding party, nothing else is actually damaged, but as I said, no power, no guns."
"So, we are totaly dependant on these...Imperials for help?"
"Yessir."
"Damn."
"YES, sir."

After Kanoha had fallen, one fourth of the inhabitants had been taken away by the Doomans. All of them were forced to convert, and now served in the ranks of the Empire. They were all basicly cannon fodder, as that's what converted people were used for, natural born Doomans, who were better trained, got all of the cool jobs.

Aboard the Temple Ship Forgiveness, the last of the captive Coreworlders completed the journey. Inside the massive ship, the high walls were decorated with thousands of pods containing those who were to be converted. Inside them were machines used to rearange the DNA of the unfortunate victim, and brainwash them. After conversion was complete, they were fully functioning Dooman Legionnaries.

Three hundred pods decended from the walls, carried by massive robotic arms, and they were set down in front of awaiting soldiers who would welcome their new comrades. The pods opened up, and the changed people stepped out. They were quickly hussled over to an armory where they donned MJLONIR armor, and grabbed plasma rifles off of the walls. During the reeducation proccess, knowledge of tactics and how to operate weapons was drilled into their heads, making them exceptional soldiers.

A Sith Lord stood in front of the new converts, and made a speech,

"My brothers! Long have you lived under the tyrany of the rebel scum who controled you! No longer, for you are now servants of the emperor! You all know of the fall of the rebellion first hand, what you don't know of are the heretics who assisted them!"

The room went quiet with that. The converts began to listen closely now.

"Brothers! We have been called upon to cleanse the heretics, and convert them to the true path! I say to you now: do your duty as brave Doomans, and you shall be rewarded in the afterlife!"

The soldiers cheered, raising their rifles in the air. So ended their process of conversion, and the begining of their service to Doomingsland.

Thrawn entered the room. The staring eyes of the Empires guests met his glare. ”Welcome all, to Coruscant, for some of you it is your first time, but for others your second. Thrawn turning to Daniel Masaki smiled. Well here we are, at the end of all things. But this is not the end Jedi, far from it. You will be glad to know that your world is in fact prospering, your people are now happy members of the Empire and you navy is being rebuilt. We are now allies.” Thrawn now moved deeper into the room and sat down at a small table, his Nohgri bodyguard always a step nearby.

”Now I bet your wondering why on Earth you have been released from Carbonite. In fact I bet your curious as to why you have not been melted down and chopped into little pieces for the acts you have committed against the Empire, well I am here to talk to you about that. Lifting a small glass of water Thrawn drank deeply before he continued. ”The truth is, I am impressed with your abilities, you are useful and too knowledgeable to throw away in a crypt or dungeon for the rest of your lives. In return for service to the Empire, we are willing to assist and protect your growing world. In fact we intend to make you apart of a special division within the military. We call it The Black Order. Thrawn smiled quietly and waited for the Jedi response.

My grandfather and Master Soloran were also interested, seeing as they know much that could be given to this new Order.

Having sucessfully obtained a temporary docking bay after a harrowing descent through the atmosphere Captain Brian Rust, commander of the HMS Pegasus was argueing about the fare.
The docking attendant was refusing the accept Harmonian currency. As it was six one-ounce coins of pure gold were a bit much, and the attendant was not entirly convinced that there wasnt some clever trickery going on, and as he said, 'Its worth more than my job to take this', and as such the crew had a whipround and produced enough in various currencies to pay for the docking fee.
They then had an arguement about 'fuel charges', Rust explained several times that the ship did not, in fact, require fuel of any sort obtainable on this planet, the docking attendant disagreed and requested the location of the fuel hookup, Rust then left the discussion to one of his officers and went for a lie down.
Once the mess was sorted out and the attendant settled for a small bribe to leave them alone, another officer was sent to contact Charnel.
This was completed soon and Charnel had arrived in the usual way...by suddenly appearing on the deck of the ship. The newest puppet he wore was a rather older than usual, but also quite tall. He had donned a robe of black wool and was attempting to stop the puppet from drooling. As a being of pure energy he had never been very good at bodies, but learning was half the fun of dictatorship.
Fortuntatly leg muscles had been easy, and thus Charnel had managed to adopt a stately walk down the ramp, stumbling only once when some sort of insect decided he looked like he tasted good and flew into his eye.
He corrected himself, then walked to the bay door. A casual observer would not have noticed Charnel. A slightly more keen observer would have noted a distinct lack of breathing, and that he didnt blink. Ever.

Hmm. A tough choice. We all exchanged glances, though Master Soloran decided that it would mostly be a family decision and will speak to his fellow Jedi Council Members about this when he gets back. Then, my Grandfather nodded yes. Naruto gave me a thumbs up, also in agreement. My sister smiled softly, letting me know that she'll support my decision. The twins, though young, also gave me thumbs up.

I flashed a grin. "Then, Admiral? We accept this honor of becoming part of The Black Order. I promise that we'll whip it into the most effective intelligence organization ever known in the galaxy, or else my name isn't Daniel Alexander Masaki!"

"I want you to start drawing up intel on the 'counter alliance' before we think about anything else." I said, going into Commander mode. "Grandfather, Master Soloran? Go back and let Mom know we're still alive. Take Fiona with you. Oh, and round up the stealthiest Jedi you know."

"and the twins?" Gramps asked.

I smiled softly, reaching a decision I've been thinking about for a little while. "I know it's a bit early, but I think they need to start training..."

"Really?" Taylor asked, excited.

"You mean it?" Jacob added.

"Yeah." I said. "Grandfather, what do you think?"

"Hmm." Grandfather Masaki mulled it over for a while, listening to the Force. "Are you sure you're ready to take up a student, much less the twins?"

"Well, for one thing, we already know each other very well." I said. "The family bonds we have are as strong as ever. I'm ready."

"Very well. I won't get in your way." Grandfather said. "Boys, listen well to your brother's lessons, and all of you, watch each other's backs, and keep each other safe."

"Alright. Let's head out, and start working on this project." I said.

1. Good location for headquarters, if there isn't one already. Passcodes created/changed for various sections.
2. Information on all current operatives and operations in action, including extent of reach into other nations.
3. Info on resources available to the Black Order

To Daniel Masaki
Head of the Black Order
From Captain Needa
Regarding The Black Order

1. The current headquarters for the Black order is non existent though any secure world in the Empire will do. We have four locations already drafted. Kaminos, Coruscant, Wayland and Yavin, wherever you decide to begin construction you will be given full support.

2. The Order is brand new, you will be starting from scratch, though we have a large amount of agents available. List of names is available in this file attachment.

3. Resources. You have the current availability of a limitless supply of fighter craft. The Black Order will also be given a strategic assault division composing of five elite Star Destroyers and five full Clone trooper Divisions. Depending on success rate these resources can be increased on a monthly basis. The Black Order also has an immediate link to the agencies commander Grand Admiral Thrawn or if the situation does not permit his communication it is also possible to contact the emperor directly.

4. The Black Order operatives reside the same rank as captain. Though in a combat situation their rank will be automatically higher giving them the status of temporary Admiral.

5. Grand Admiral Thrawn.

6. You have full authorisation to recruit any possible people from the military and general populous at your discretion.

"Well, that was quick." I chuckled, as I watched the twins work at telekinesis.

Let's see...Kamino's too wet, from what I remember of the Clone Wars history lessons. Coruscant, too crowded. Yavin...the Jedi Academy's already set up there, it'd be redundant and overcrowded. Wayland...now that's an interesting prospect. I checked the coordinates. A ways from any major hyperlanes, and I guess only a few know of the place.

So it's brand-new. I wouldn't have thought so from the way Thrawn said it, but then, I guess it only started when the Rebellion was around. I noticed that the current acting leader, aside from me, is a Dark Jedi named Nathan Janien. I'd better check him out, see if he's any good. Then, I choked when I saw that the PredAliens that Doomingland has are now under my command. I hate 'em, I really do, though they would be kinda useful...

Looks like I have considerable resources, then, though it obviously doesn't include the resources of old Coreworlds, which I already know about. Ok, I guess I'll take the title of Commander of the Black Order, like my former Rogue title. Not surprisingly, that Thrawn would be my CO, seeing as he's the one who approached me.

Good. That means that I already have the pre-created Shinobi organization (about 2000 or so, same as the Jedi number) that I could place under the Black Order. Not to mention old friends and acquaintences that I could recruit.

I got to work, drafting up my recommendations and like things. Now, I would need to go to Waylord, and set up the Order itself.

Nathan Janien was not amused by the news that Grand Admiral Thrawn has decided to take matters into his own hands and turn to the Masaki clan as members of the Order, and the boy at the head, how foolish! Janien then wondered what was to become of him if the boy is now his boss, and decided that he wasn't going to go out quietly.

So he decided that he would wait until the Black Order was set up at Wayland, then have a 'talk' with Masaki...

---

Meanwhile, at Konoha, currently being rebuilt.

Reelected Senator Jennifer Masaki was pleased when her daughter and father-in-law came back to her after 6 months, but was not pleased when the boys had to stay and produce a intelligence organization for the Empire. Force knows what the Sith will make her son do! At least the twins are under the watchful eyes of Daniel, she consoled herself. She sighed, as the Jedi Council argued amongst themselves on whether or not to endorse this "Black Order" (agent of the Dark Side vs great training for the younger students and Knights seems to be the debate). The ninjas have already resigned themselves to working for the Order, and Naruto was sent coordinates to the new HQ for the shinobi to come and go for missions.

The room was balack as far as he was concerned. There was nothing. There was nothing to think of. Nothing to hear and nothing to see. He just had to sit and sleep. He waited and he could feel his body grow with vigour and strenght. The massive energy inside his body became controlable. His mind was blank yet a sence of euphoria flooded over him. He was almost ready.

On the other side the children listen exhurbrantly as the prime minister explained how the clonning process was accelerated without hampering the growth process. His body fluidly slid around th room as he spoke,

"...anyway, this clone has just recived its first batch or hormonal enhancements." There was a breif pause as the class looked at the fetus. "The hormones are frozen for 17 hours before the are administered this rejuces the chance of rejection and thus and abortion occouring. This has to be done every day for the first 15 weeks as the clone may exhibit some 'errors' in later life."

The class was in absolute awe at the autocrat's knowlage of the process and took notes with enhanced vigour. His robe followed him gracefully around the room as he conducted his lecture and entered greater and greater detail. The lecture evolved in time. It was amazing he thought to himslef. An infant of only 3 years can set up his own opperation given the time. Prehaps his anncestors had altered themselves in the past to enhance their uptake of knowlage? The thoguth instantly left his mind as the most pathetic of ideas. Class was dismissed.

It could feel its heart beat stronger and stronger. It was in some sort of tunnel. It was a semi circle. A tube like shape. He could not see the ends. His heart raced at the prospect of see what was the the end. His heart began to race. Two beat per a minute, three it eventually got upto 60. He was exhausted.

The rains had past 30 times now. The moon was a differant shape this night, its glow hampered by what could only be described as an unusual mass. None of the Golans could be seen. The rain whept around the spire of the laboratory where tests were carried out. Seven tubes stood the with the screens blacked out. The light it seemed was unusally bright, yet its bleach white intensity had gone. The opperating table was shut off but there was body on there none the less. She stired in her sleep surprised by the support it gave to her neck. The room was kept at a most plesant temperature for a kaminoan, however the air lacked the moisture they usally enjoyed. The apex the door began to shimmer as the sound of the console on the otherside died out. The was a supple sharp tone and the arch like doors slide open effortlessly. He yawned. The figured of the gifted creature walked towards the centeral tube at gave it a gentle tap. Nothing.

"hmmm"

She stired again. She awoke to a gentle kiss on her angelic forehead. She swung her legs over the side of the bed so she was sitting and wrapped her arms over her naked body. She looked at him in his red imperial robes.

"six minutes" the figure said as it gestured towards the central tube. And the six minutes passed.

The eyes were clogged with sleep. He yawned after he felt his head rise above water. He couldn't help but feel trapped in the tube. His heart must have skipped a beat. Sensors denied this. The euphoria he felt when the tube hissed elegantly as it lifted away from his face. He was free. Free to do whatever his master wished. Free to seek out what his master wanted. And he was free to lie to anyone else.

He was welcomed into the world by Lama Su and Taum WE. They had called him Avon.

His DNA was sterile. He could not be cloned from naturaly or organicly. However, he still appeared perfectly human. He was an theoretical impossability. But not the less they had done it. For a fee of course. The young 23 year old male was much taller than his host. He stood 6ft 4" above the ground. However it didn not stop him from having to his neck to look up at the Kaminoan pair and thank them for all they had done for him.

"Avon." Was greeted by a gentle nod from Lama SU. Taum WE just sat there her arms wrapped around herself eyeing up the figure of the human. 'stange isn't he' she tought to her self.

Avon looked around and read a data screen telling him what he was comprised of. He has ribosomes in his cells which allowed his body to create nucliotide sequences that only Yasimallri could create. His cloning method was that of how Kaminoans clone the star fighter pilots. He was specialised towards an increase in reaction time and spacial awareness. Though, naturaly his size meant he could hold his own in any bar brawl.

Twenty Three Days had passed since Avon took his first breath. He had been reading heavily on the use of blaster carbines and close combat warefare. However his trainers, veteran clones and sith officers (Vaders best) had noticed he had a 'gift' for infiltration.
He sat at his table with 19 other clone starfighter pilots. He looked differant. He wasn't one of the same. He obiously hadn't shaved that day as his stubble had become quiet apparent under the bright bleached lights of the mess assembly. The room bussled to the noise of the hungry eaters. The air was parched with the sound on grunts guzziling down water and chomping away at sweet meats. At the rear of the colosal overature hung a platium omage rendering the words,

"Not a drop to waste."

The clones clearly obayed this ideal. He stood and walked towards the mess collector, plates in hand. It would be his last day on Kaminos. His legs pounded down the open chanel with utter silence while the short blonde hairs on his leg failed to move. His arms tensed as he carried his plates displaying the size of his opaque triceps. His white top clung round his impossing upper body, gently hugging the subtle line of his pecks. His short black hair failed to move even though he paced out of the room with some speed. His eyes focused his movement efficantly down the corridor with there hazzel brown glow. His began to press his thin lips together with antisipation, he need not know fear. But one day it would keep him alive. He headed down towards Taum WE's briefing room after he had dealt with his ameanial duties, his cheeks showing up there usual robust red insignia.

The surrounding rain pounded the small TIE Interceptor with unforgiving passion. He entered the cockpit and strapped himself in under the watchful eye of Jian DI and her cerimonial blade. He nodded as a gesture of him understanding her supiriority. He had learned the strict rules of the Black Order perfectly and would obay the commands of Daniel Masaki without hessitation. He closed the front of the Interceptor with a few quick and efficant button presses as he brought the resperator over his head. As the cockpit seal was formed his body became invisable to the human eye as the glass became tinted. Darth Vaders investment gently throttled back as the TIE interceptor took off and away from his beloved home of Kaminos. If Lama SU had not altered him further they may have been a tear in his eye.

He knew his orders well. He was of the Black Order now. One of the Dark Lords spare carriers took him to Wayland. At last the true Black Order was coming together.

Black Order Headquarters, Mount Tantiss, Wayland.

There is nothing on the outer-rim planet of Earth that could compare to the speed at which the building and working has been going on in the mountain. A derelict of a few rooms were transformed into a major headquarters in just a few days. A hangar bay erected for easy deployment of fighters and larger ships (up to the corvettes). Training/gym rooms for everyone from fat guys to Jedi. Briefing rooms. Dorms (and fresher rooms). A cafeteria and kitchen. Even torture rooms, though I know that there are more ways to break a person than just pain.

My brothers and I were there in hard hats to inspect the workings and I was especially pleased with the central control room, where I could monitor anything going on in the galaxy that could be important to me, and consequently, the Empire. The holomap was still being set up with the latest updates, but when it was done, I could touch say, Tatooine, and get basic and then detailed information on it.

I stepped carefully over snaking wires, telekinesed falling hydrospanners, and did some of my own handiwork, mostly helping with large, heavy objects. I couldn't wait to get the whole thing set up, projected to be within a week, and begin the fun (yet boring) task of intelligence gathering and operations.

"Well, boys, here's our room." I announced, as I lead the twins into a fairly large and empty (for now) personal room with three bedrooms, one for each of us. "I got the middle one."

"Pretty good." Taylor said. "I get the left room!"

"Ok, I'll take the last one then." Jacob said.

No difference in size between any of them, though. Furniture comes in last, after the construction's done so we'll sleep in a shuttle-bunk, but I must say, I'm glad to have a permanent, well-protected home for once. Ever since Juria's death, I've been hopping from one place to the next in the galaxy, never setting down long enough to really enjoy life. The Sovereign came close, but it was destroyed during the Battle of Konoha, so I was once again homeless. The twins didn't really have the sense of nostalga that I do, but then, they've always been hopping from one place to another since they've started walking. Now, back to getting more stuff done.

A week later...

The last piece of furniture rolled in and was moved to chosen spots. Desks, chairs, beds, and a few personal effects from home. The holomap in Central was finally up and running, though a few glitches still needed to be worked out. But all in all, The Black Order was ready to begin.

"All right, people!" I barked, working into my role as Commander of The Black Order. "Let's get to work! Nathan, if you'll begin, please."

A Dark Jedi walked to me. I noticed an undercurrent of emotion, mostly jealousy and hatred, rolling under his face. Hmm. Looks like trouble...

"We currently have 45,464 employees in the Order." He reported. "2175 are of the Shinobi Ops. 1945 are Force-sensitive or Jedi or Sith. 18,543 are considered 'normal' Intelligence Officers. All others do not work the Operations or Intelligence Divisions, but are still important to the Empire."

"Very well." I nodded. "What is our current objective?"

"We currently have an upstart Anti-Sith Resistance Group growing against us, with at least one nation, Corneliu involved, possibly more."

I narrowed my eyes. "Are you sure Corneliu is involved?"

"Yes, sir." I noticed that the dark Jedi cringed slightly at 'sir', but recovered. "They are the most prominent and vocal working against us."

"Very well." Uncle James...what are you doing? "Our first and foremost objective is to find out just how many nations are involved in this Anti-Sith group. Then, we shall gather information on each of those nations. Only then, will we be able to formulate a plan of action to carry out our primary objective: Assassination of their leadership."

I then pulled out a file. "I have already gathered as much information as possible on Corneliu from my old Core archives, since it was a former ally." I ran down the basics, who President Server and his family are, Corneliuan planets and current projected military since their Civil War. "Their military is a potent force to face, large and powerful. Admiral John Server, himself the son of the President, commands their First Fleet, a fleet of roughly 400 starships. He is a cunning man, and not one to underestimate."

"But take him and his father down, and Corneliu will be close to captiulation, and we could sweep in under the confusion." I said, idly wondering what Dad would say about me telling secrets about formerly trusted allies. He'd be disappointed but understanding, I supposed...

"Any questions?" I answered a few, and then declined any more. "Now, then. We shall see how to get information on this 'Republic' group. I have a plan..."

Wayland, To CoreWorlds, to the Galactic Empire, A-6-14 To The Kingdom, A Promising world that could be added to the list of worlds that could be colonized, with little or no hinderance in the way of enviroment, of course, the planet had yet to pass its survey, and so, the SSKV Aquiné was on its way.

The many colours of the vortex swirled around the Aquiné as it powered its way through the hyper-tunnel, strands of colour slid themselves over the sleek hull of the frigate, its shields resisting the more agressive energies of the vortex.

"Captain, We are nearing A-6-14, ETA: 3 Minutes" A Voice said, interrupting the captains small doze, he opened one blue eye, blowing a strand of blonde hair away from it, he looked towards the voice, and merely nodded in acknowledgement, they had been travelling for a good few hours, and as always, long trips made him lazy.

He was Celefrán Eleqúindor, Once someone of importance, but his sudden loss of skill had reduced him to commanding frigates as they surveyed far worlds, but at least it was something, But something worthy of a human, not a elf of his stature.

Finally, he had to rise, the viewscreen began to change, many colours becoming one, Black, the black of space, with its many dots of light, and then, Wayland, or A-6-14, its sphere filling up most of the screen, The Aquiné continuing to hurtle towards it, before slowing to realspace speeds.

"Sensors, Begin scan, lets make it quick" Celefrán ordered, he stared intently at the ball of rock before him, something about it, was different.

A Star Destroyer, by the name of Severe Winds took notice of the unknown frigate that just entered the system. The captain decided to do a little diplomacy, first, then blow this idiot out of the sky.

"You have entered restricted Imperial space! We demand that you state your designation and your intentions, or risk destruction in...10 seconds!"
Elvenford
06-12-2004, 15:07
The Message reverberated around the bridge, Celefrán Sighed, what idiot had not noticed another ship.

"Transmit Following... This is the SSKV Aquiné on a survey mission from The Serene Sindarin Kingdom of Elvenford, this is a peaceful mission, we had no idea this planet was occupied or claimed." Celefrán said, he turned to the tactical officer.

"Raise shields, they may not like intruders, and Helm, initiate the FTL warm up, we may need to get out of here, quick" He ordered, and turned back to the viewscreen.

"And scan that ship!"
CoreWorlds

"Sir, they're scanning us."

"Fire a warning shot. If they don't get that message..."

"Yes, sir!"

A blistering blast of green turbolasers deliberately missed the ship, making clear what will happen if they didn't leave, now!"

---

"Commander. A ship is in the system. We're attempting to shoo it away." A soldier said to me.

"Ok, good." I said, then I had a thought. "On the other hand...capture it and bring the crew to me. And please, don't blow it out of the sky if you can help it."

"Yes, sir." The soldier said, and radioed the orders.

----

Severe Wind heard the new orders.

"All right, you heard the Commander! Fire the ion cannons!" The captain ordered. "Order Nightwing and Darksaber to block their exit!"

The turbolasers slacked off, and then blue ion bolts lanced out at the frigate, as two other Star Destroyers moved in to block their exit. The ion bolts would hit the shields, causing lightning to skitter across and through them, shorting out electronics wherever they touch. Soon, it will be easy to board the ship...
Elvenford
06-12-2004, 15:32
Or would it?

The coded message transmitted from the Aquiné, back towards home, now they knew of their fate, and maybe not all would be lost.

The Radiation shields flared and resisted the huge amount of EMP weaponry being pushed against it, The shields buckled, but were holding, the first Ion drive shorted out, followed by the FTL drives, the rest of the engines shut themselves down, and the frigate drifted, mostly disabled.

Celefrán Smiled.. "Lower the shields, Let them come closer, are the beacons intact?"

"Yes Sir, Most of them" Came the reply.

"You know what to do" Celefrán said simply, On the slightly charred surface of the frigate, one would notice the small spires dotted periodically, beginning to shine a un-worldly red, the energy growing, and growing, of course, the Frigates small Reactors could not store as much Psionic energy as that of a battleship, but it was still a potent force, The Aquiné was lost, but it would do as much damage as it could.

The beacons finally released their energy, red light lanced for the incoming vessels, and unleashed fury on those who would dare come close. But it ended all too soon, and the Aquiné was expended, and listing.

"Prepare for boarding, most likely they will merely drag us on-board, or merely destroy us, but you cant be too sure." Celefrán said, As the message of "Prepare" broadcasted around the small vessel.

I felt the disturbance in the Force of the psionic discharge. "Interesting..."

---

The psychic energy lashed out for the Star Destroyers, giving non-mentally shielded crewmembers massive migraines and the shields held against the energy attack. It didn't last long, and the shields were able to dissipate the energy away. Now, the Severe Winds would be able to board the ship. Tractor beams grabbed the ship, and then pulled it into it's belly, where stormtroopers awaited, their weapons put on stun.

As clamps latched on the ship, orders to surrender with their hands up were given, and then a count to 10...

The Doors remained firmly shut, Inside, many elves donned their Armour, and rather than using normal weaponry, which is normally unaffective in such a ship, many reached for ornate blades, Holding them steady.

Nearly everyone was ready to fight untill they were captured or dead, they had no reason to give in, and why should they, what was the purpose?

Celefrán tapped a few buttons, and the door's opened, and out poured many a warrior, their blades slashing into all who were close, whilst some fell, the armour deflected most of the laser bolts harmlessly into the walls of the ship.

The stormtroopers fell back a bit, some taken down by the blades, but they continued to throw stun bolts into the warrior elf ranks, adding stun grenades where applicable, taking them out one by one. If the stormies need a Jedi, they will call for them, but for now, it seems to them that all they need to do is outrange the deadly blades.

06-12-2004, 16:05
The gracefullness of a elf in combat is something to admire, but there was no time to appreciate such things, they were falling, but finally, the intiative came to regroup, a grenade came flying, it was caught by one, and thrown back into the enemy ranks, Then the charge came again, this was a battle they could not lose, Elves charged towards the enemy, now, with new gained space, gracefully attempting to evade the enemy fire, most of which did hit being glanced away, but to the cost of a few lucky shots, warriors falling, sooner, hopefully more than later, they would run out of space, and as the storm-troopers were bcked up against corners and walls, elven blade met storm-trooper armour once more.

Then, war-droids and a Jedi were called in. The 2 droidekas rolled in and deployed, bringing up shields and firing rapid-fire blaster bolts into the elves, while the Jedi ignited her yellow lightsaber, and cut through their ranks, even more graceful, yet dangerous, than they could ever be.

----

"Sir, we have some trouble on Severe Wind."

"What's the situation up there?" I asked.

"They seem to be elves, and they've taken our stormtroopers by surprise."

That was it. I had to meet with the leader of this elven group. "Ready my X-wing. I'm going up there."

"Yes, sir."

It didn't take long, but I got into my X-wing, and then headed out of the hangar and into space, reaching for the beleagured Star Destroyer at high speed.

Many a warrior began to fall, but the Jedi found her work difficult, Cutting through the Armour of the elves was a problem, and their blades seemed to resist to the end, but she was beating them, before Celefrán Appeared, he would deal with the Jedi.

The Warriors not engaging the last remnants of the Stormtroopers jumped for the Droideka's, avoiding their powerful blasts, the Droideka's, swarmed by warriors and being slashed at were proving to be very resistant, downing a few warriors, but their fate was decided.

Celefrán finally met with the Jedi Woman in battle, his blade resisting her, his gracefullness matching hers, blade met lightsabre, kick met block, And they were matched, for now, the battle between the two continued too and fro, finally She made a slash for him, he barely evaded it, but he took the intiative, slashing with his blade and attemping to sweep her legs out from underneath her as she tried to regain her stance..

@All: Unless specifically labeled, all speech is in Basic/Anglorat/English. Kira is Kay, but with fiery red hair, and generally acts in a more civil manner.

"Try and keep your language civil," the elderly man sighed, not for the first time. He knew it would not be the last time he would reproach the red-haired Weyrean sitting across from him.

((Weyrik))"I'll f**cking give you civil," she retorted, repeated the phrase in Basic.

"Look." Josiah Wilard Gibbs looked at her with his piercing blue eyes, "you may be the first alchemist to successfully turn yourself into shadow, but that doesn't give you the right to insult our potential allies. The Jedi are a valuable asset, will be a valuable asset when the Empire falls."

"Aren't you planing a bit far ahead?" Kira pulled out a malicious-looking knife, began cleaning her nails with it.

"The Empire will fall," Gibbs responded, ignoring the dagger. He was fully capable of deflecting it with his bare hands, if necessary. Kira might have been an alchemist, with the potential to be one of the best, but she was not as good as Gibbs, yet. "All Empires fall. I'm just hoping it won't take us with it. That's not the only reason, as I -thought- you had figured out."

"You mean that the Republic will slag us as soon as 'liberate' us? Or that half of them are ruled by psychotic dictators? Or that they're complete idiots?"

"Don't underestimate your opponents," Gibbs cut the red-haired girl off.
"You're the liason between the Black Order and the Diplomatic Service, act like it."

"Fine, fine. Sheesh. It's headed by a damn kid," she waved the dagger in emphasis. "I can handle a stupid relay assignment." Soundlessly, the sharp mithril-steel went back into its sheath.

Unless he sends you somewhere, the Consul-general did not add. Kira knew it in any case, or at least Gibbs hoped that she knew.

"Translating to Wayland in three...two...one..." the comm crackled.

"Ohhh...damn..."" Kira muttered.

And the universe inverted for a moment that took an eternity.

Kira had tried not to look out the viewports, at the beckoning streams and infinite depths of the net that bridged the planes, but she culd not escape the gut-wrenching jolt of coming out of tranSpace, off the Net, and into normSpace. Most people never felt the transition, aside from perhaps some slight discomfort or a little bump. For Kira, it was like flying on a propeller-driven aeroplane through a hurricane.

The world spun. She clenched her seat to keep from spilling onto the floor.

They were there. If the Weyrean IFF was not a clear indication of the craft's neutrality, then the message that came from it certainly was. "This is the WSGS Shadowhawk, requesting permission and vectors to land."
The Shadowhawk was a subCraft. Some would have called it ugly, but those persons had never seen what a subCraft was capable of.

Kira took a long pull from a bottle of water, winced. There'd be a headache later on, she was sure. The red-haired girl closed her eyes, concentrated, went seeking for someone force-sensitive and hopefelly matching the imprint she had gotten during her brief stay on the Sovreign.

"Shields up," the captain ordered.

He didn't want any stray particles to damage the sensitive arrays that allowed his ship to dive into the space between planes. The craft was studded with them -- little antennas and pure mithril whiskers that crackled with energy, blue lghtning arcing between them and the ion-magnetic shields.

"Think we'll fit?" Gibbs inquired.

"Kinda tight, but...yep," the pilot nodded, as the nine-hundred-meter craft floated into the 'Spaceport', which looked like a hangar from one of the outrim colonies. Landing strutts whirred, groaned as thousands of tonns of metal and composite bore down on them.

Drop status, the captain's eyes flickered, switching briefly to the Net to give a direct order. Drop status was a low-key alert, which on a planet meant having a half-dozen marines at the main access port.

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

"Security check is clear," one of the marines stated.

"Can you [expletive] open the door?" Kira asked tersely.

"Right away, ser," the marine might have paled, or he might not have -- his face was hidden by a reflective faceplate -- but he did open the main hatch almost instatly. The atmospheric seals hissed. Gibbs and the young alchemist entered the actual hatch room. Hydraulics whirred, and the ten-by-ten meter platform lowered to the 'spaceport's' floor.

"I will have to think upon such a action, and what will become of my surviving warriors?" Celefrán said, Complatetively.
"They, too will have the same choice: asylum or return home." I said, and my pager beeped. "Now if you'll excuse me, I have pressing business on the planet. I will instruct the captain to treat you as a guest."

The pager scrolled like this: IMPT VSTRS AT HQ CMDR.

"All right." I said to myself, heading back to my fighter. I told the captain to treat Celefran like a guest, and then took off, heading back to land.

I sped past the Corneliuan transport -How the hell did she get here? Oh, wait, one of my spies contacted her- and then made my way into the hangar bay, where a Weyrean ship seemed to have landed and my heart skipped a beat as a Doomingsland PredAlien ship also had landed.

((Weyrik))"I hear one expletive from you, and you'll be on the next ship to Hellgate." Gibbs stated conversationally as the hydraulic lift came down from the belly of the craft.

"F**ck you, ser," Kira responded tersely. Her head was throbbing. The flux distrotions were getting worse. A year ago she was fully capable of piloting a parasite through translation. Now it was painful just to sit through the trip as a passenger.

((Weyrik))"I mean it. The Black Order just might be the first decent spy corps in the Empire. Don't screw it up."

There was a thud, a clang. The flame-haired alchemist considered the place. It was a damn hangar, if that. A parasite came in, and she wondered if the minor flux signature she was getting from its occupants was that of Masaki or not. It looked kinda like it...but she really didn't want to do a sending.

"Yea yea! Ok whatever!" She said into the comm. She hit the burners and tore off after him. She gains on him and then backs off as she prepares to land. She activated her landing thrusters and disengages her main engines as she slowly settles the ship to the deck.

Once she confirmed that she landed, she turned off all the main systems and moves towards the ramp. She lowers the ramp and looks around as she walks off the transport. She nods her head here and there approving of what she saw! "Well at least I'm here." she muttered to herself as she waits for her contact to show up.

My cloak swishing with every step, I went to them. "I am Commander Daniel Masaki, Director of The Black Order, intelligence arm of the Empire. You have stepped into a world few have ever seen, even in other intelligence agencies. You will be working many missions, some of them dangerous, some of them not." Yes, it was him. Kira gulped.

"Correction. -She- will be working on assignments." the consul-general somehow managed to convey that he was speaking about the alchemist next to him. Two centuries had him able to speak over dozen languages with no accent. "I have my own department to run. The Shadowhawk is yours to command. Alchemist Kira has a datapad for you. If she blows up any more E-wings, please let me know immediately."

Yup, it's her, all right. She really, really has to control that foul mouth of hers, since my younger brothers are present. I'd better find a way to do that.

"Ok. From here, you enter the main hall of mountain, called Mount Tantiss." I said, walking down the large corridor. "There is a map on that wall, in case you ever get lost and you need to find your way around."

"First of all, here are the briefing rooms." I pointed to the hall that branches out on the left. "They're where you and your squad will go when you have a mission."

"Next, we come up to the numerous training rooms, where there is always something for everyone." I showed them the training rooms. Each one is slightly different, as they are tailor-made for the various Jedi, ninja and other kinds of special-ability people. There are also normal workout rooms, for physical conditioning.

Then, we arrived at the very center of the mountain, and standing before us are two double-blast doors strong enough to handle massed blasterfire, though a good thermal detonator should take it down. I slid my keycard into the slot, and punched some numbers.

Hydraulics hissed as the doors opened to reveal a giant room with a 3-D holomap of the Galaxy as we know it. Men, women and aliens sat before computers and other equipment, keeping up with news and intel from around the galaxy.

"This is the Command Center. It is completely interactive, so that when you need information on a planet you're going to, you merely have to touch that planet, like so." I touched the Earth, in the Orion Arm and the Outer Rim. Beside it, basic information appeared, then drop-down boxes for more detailed information. "Cool, eh?"

"Wow," Kira had used one of such archives, but the expense of maintaining something like this must have been immense, especially for the Black Order.

Kira had once used the Library -- an archive maintained by The Tower and the Diplomatic Service -- for free because of her alchemist rank. Corporations paid incredible sums of money for that same database, and for the daemon programs that sorted through that data for particular information. But that system was maintaned as much by freelance reporters seeking to make money as by official staff. This.....

Outside, it was a sunny day, but that doesn't change the mood between me and the dark Jedi with delusions of grandeur.

I could easily transfer you into another post, preferably a Hoth outpost. But don't ever try my patience in front of my troops, or I will personally see it that you are dealt with swiftly."

Nathan snorted. "But you're just a kid. I'm twice your age."

"Pfft. Age means nothing." I spat. "Five years ago, a Dark Jedi died by my hands when I was in the Yavin Academy as a trainee. Four years ago, I took down an entire criminal organization (albiet with some help from Dad and a few others). A year and a half ago, I was running Rogue Squadron into and out of dangerous and seat-of-your-pants missions. The last battle against you guys, over half, HALF died under my command, and I will still be writing letters to the families and sending them presents on Life Day and New Years'. Do not tell me that I cannot hold command of the Black Order successfully because of my age, because I can, and will."

Nathan seemed to wilt, not knowing what to say under my sharp tongue. "Are you finished?"

"Yeah, I think so." I smiled. "I can, of course, place you as the DI (Director, Intelligence), seeing as you did help the Order in it's very infancy."

"Are you sure you want to do that?" Nathan was surprised.

"Yeah, I need one." I have a DO (Director, Operations) in Naruto, but I also need a boss for the non-confrontative aspects of intelligence like signals and analysis. "You up for it? It's not my job, but it's close, and should Naruto and/or I fall in a mission, I need someone to take over, someone I can trust."

"You...trust...me?"

Yeah, I know, the Empire isn't a big breeding ground of trust. But then, what can we do but seed it and hope it grows?" I asked.

"Hmm. Interesting philosophy you have there..." The dark Jedi said. Not every day you get a dark Jedi that doesn't fight me at the first opportunity...

After becoming bored with his room, the PredAlien headed back upstairs to the holodeck. Upon entering, he ordered a stealth program. A large facility out in the middle of a desert appeared in front of him. It was dark. Out in the distance, several sentries stood by the main gate chatting. He engaged his cloak, and ran toward the gate.

When he arrived, he quietly scaled the wall, and lept over the three laser beams that acted as barbed wire, landing perfectly inside of the compound. He then ran to the main building, which in turn led into a mountain. He entered an airlock, which shut behind him, and opened in front of him. A technician noticed the airlock go off, but didn't see anyone.

"Errr, hello? Is anyone ther- ahhhh!"

The man's head rolled on the floor, and his blood splattered all over the wall. The PredAlien picked up the unfortunate man's head, and attached it to his belt. He then vaporized the corpse, leaving only the blood on the wall.

The PredAlien continued through the complex, entering a rusty old turbo lift. When he exited, he found himself walking outside, 300 feet in the air, over a catwalk. He ran across the catwalk, his cloak hiding him from the men below, and he stepped through a second door leading into the control room. There were five men sitting on terminals, talking with one another. At the center of the room was a large holoscreen with the position of every orbital gun.

He quietly walked up to the holoscreen, and produced an explosie device from his belt. He typed several keys on it, and tossed it into the holoscreen.

A trace element injection here, a change in electron spin there, hmmm. She touched the circle. It sparked, fizzled. Kira examined her new knife. It wasn't that bad, all things considering. "So what's there to do around here?" she turned towards the PredAlien.

"Don't worry, they're my brothers. I wouldn't hurt 'em. Just make 'em sore in the morning." I smiled, as I walked in. The twins were warming up already and I kicked off my shoes, took off my cloak, saber and outer tunic, and started warming up. Jumping jacks, stretches and running on the spot were the order of the day, and then I was ready.

"Ready, Padawans?" I asked, crouching into a horse stance.

They nodded, and attacked at the same time. I blocked each blow, allowing myself to back up and choose a strategy. I swept Jacob off his feet, and attacked Taylor, forcing him to block and dodge my blows. Jacob came up fast with a high kick, though I grabbed him and pushed him towards his brother. They fell in a tangle of arms and legs.

"Much to learn you two have, mmhmm!" I lectured, in imitation of Yoda. "Fight as one, you must! Trust your instincts, and each other!"

The twins looked at each other, smirked, clasped their hands together, and that's when I knew I was in trouble, and proud at the same time. I noticed them drawing in the Force, and speedblitzed me, throwing barrages of punches and kicks as if they were one person. I kept up as much as I could, using my own speed to keep up with them.

Then, the twins both broke through my defenses, and smacked into my face, and I went down, eyes swirling. @_@

Michelle was sitting crosslegged watching the whole affair. She shook her head as Daniel handled the twins attack. When they came together to attack as one, she was surprised that he was able to defend them off until he got smacked. Michelle cracked up laughing as she went over to Daniel and looked at him. My heart felt like it was going to explode when she kissed me. I was so red now, that I'm literally a walking strawberry.

"Oh, wow, Danny! You got a girlfriend!" Taylor giggled.

"Ooooh! And she kissed you too!" Jacob laughed.

Taylor's sea-blue blade flashed, and I blocked the blow, and met Jacob's amethyst blade aiming towards my leg. I was a blur of emerald energy, as both boys sought to find openings to me, but my Form II defenses were enough to keep them at bay, as thrust and parry worked in tandem to keep them from even touching me. I added a touch of IV, in order to twist out of their attacks if they got close, but in any case, I taught my brothers and my apprentices, even as I fought them. But it was teaching without words, but with action. Where they would miss a strike, I would break through and sting them. Where they managed to work in tandem, I made them work to defend themselves.

Suddenly, my lightsaber flashed several times, and Taylor was taken out, having lost his lightsaber, sent spinning out of his hands, and he also held a stung right arm. Now it was me and the younger twin, Jacob. His tan hair was slick, as he fought me with fervor and speed, to make up for my superior strength.

"You are strong, young Jacob, but you are not a Jedi yet!" I mocked, forcing him to defend my fierce offensive.

"Don't count your chickens just yet!" He retorted, and sidestepped to dodge a blow, then tried to catch me off-guard with a series of seemingly random attacks. But I was ready for it, and struck him hard, knocking him off-balance and before he could recover, my blade was at his throat.

"Good job, you two." I snapped a salute, and extinguished the blade. "Training session is over today."

I bowed to them, and they returned it. Then, we cooled down and relaxed.

"Bad feeling?" the captain asked. He knew his exec was wait-listed for the magi'i, which meant that most of his hunches were at least partly true.

"Sorta," she responded. "Maybe it's just a long day."

"Yeah." the captain nodded, leaning back into his comfortable chair-couch. After a moment of staring at the console lights, he sighed, keyed into the comm channel for the local control. "Waylord Control, mind if we take a station somewhere less exposed?"

Forest, Waylord

Well, there was no-one around, and it looked like a safe enough place to practice. Kira shrugged off her heavy blue jacket, slinging on a low-hanging branch, leaving on the black T-shirt on whose shoulder was the small and simple insignia of The Tower.

The first form was simple, for her -- Ash showed it to Kira almost ten years ago. Low block, knife hand, back-roundhouse going into a spin, the form was her way of warming up. She'd need it for what she wanted to try. There was an interesting excersise in her book where an alchemist ran up a tree, transmuting the bark as he went along.

"Thank, you. Shadowknight out," the captain flashed back. Ten minutes later, the craft was rapidly gaining orbit, its sensitive hull protected by layers of shielding.

"Looks interesting," tactical chuckled.

"Prepare to dive," the captain commanded. "Forty thaums."

"Forty thaums aye," the diving officer responded.

Pent up energy crackled along the Shadowknight's hull, lancing from antenna to to antenna, until the entire hull seemed to be a ball of pulsing energy. One moment it was there. The next moment reality twisted to take up suddenly-vacated space.

"Depth at forty thaums. Estimated sig is forty meters," the diving officer stated after a long moment. Diving was always a nasty business -- you never knew when a damaged diving array would cause tidal stresses to shred the craft in half. The vessel hung there, suspended in the spacde between dimensions, invisible to all but the best gravimetric scanners, where it would show up as a 'ghost' asteroid forty meters in diameter. Drives flared to life, taking the craft slowly to the ourskirts of the system.
