Pacitalia has currently exchanged embassies with 162 nations since 21st November 1503.

Remember that all nations listed below have BOTH an embassy in Pacitalia and a Pacitalian embassy in their country. That is the standard in an embassy exchange.

Our security policy

Vehicles are restricted to civilian but can be armoured. However, they cannot be equipped with weaponry.
You will be permitted a maximum of ten (10) vehicles.
You will be permitted a maximum of fifty (50) guards on rotating shifts.
Guards' weapons are restricted to handguns, sub-machine guns and/or knives.
Guards' uniforms are restricted to standard combat and/or dress ones.
External security will be handled by the Timiocato Department of Police (TDP) or the Elite Special Operations Force (ESOF).

Very well SRoR shall provide 50 guards armed with AN-95s(SRoR's updated form of the AN-94) and we will require 1000 workers for the embassy, we shall provide 500 of them and the other 500 positions are open to the people of your nation, they will be paid the same as SRoR citizens in the embassy in accordance with communist policy.

From: Commonwealth Ministry of Foreign Affairs

In an attempt to further the diplomatic presence of the Commonwealth of Azazia in nations dedicated to furthering the ideals of liberal democracy, I have been given the task of establishing formal diplomatic relations with your nation in the hope that our two nations may grow closer in the years to come, to work together in many difficult situations, and to potentially diffuse any misunderstanding through the natural deepening of our cultural understandings.

In accord with such an endeavour, the Commonwealth is willing to extend to the government and people of Pacitalia a location on 12th Avenue, a wide boulevard with a park-laden center median. 12th Avenue extends into the New Thames River as it was constructed by our engineers to provide all diplomatic staff residing there with a superb view of the regal river and the majestic mountains and cliffs of the distant Chambers Strait. Entrance to 12th Avenue is restricted by an armed guard post of the Commonwealth’s 2nd Royal Guards Regiment – a unit dedicated to the protection of foreign diplomatic and military interests on Commonwealth soil. This does not preclude, however, your own embassy security staff – we ask that they merely be equipped with small arms of the rifle and submachine gun nature, no armoured fighting vehicles or helicopters will be permitted. There are several colonial-era homes that have remained from the times when 12th Avenue was the epicenter of the colony’s most elite members of society. As such, these homes – more properly called mansions I suppose – are equipped to handle at least two dozen employees in spacious accommodations, smaller boarding houses on the properties can also be converted for extra living accommodations. All of the mansions have been renovated in the past several years for modern conveniences, such as electricity, plumbing, phone lines, et cetera. Should you have any other modifications to make, we should see no problem so long as they do not damage the environment or the city of Imperium. If these do not suit you, however, there is on the other side of the river 15th Avenue, which is much smaller and less-secured since it happens to be near the primary retail commercial center of Imperium. However, these plots are empty and allow for the construction of entirely new designs at the bequest of the foreign government.

Now, perhaps a little about the Commonwealth. The Commonwealth was founded in the later portions of the nineteenth century after the independence and combination of a former British Pacific colony, based here in Imperium and a Russian colony on the northern islands of our archipelago – the principal city being what we now call New Moscow. The foundation of the colonies was for principally economic means, and so the Commonwealth has developed into an economically powerful, if somewhat isolated nation. For many years we were active in the international forum, but after some problems in the royal family installed to rule the islands, and social problems resulting in armed revolution, we retreated to isolationism, which is from where we are currently returning. We strive to remain a pacifistic nation, war does nothing but impede foreign trade and ultimately is bad for business. This does not mean, however, that we lack sophisticated weaponry, instead, we are a well-advanced maritime nation that depends upon the freedom of the seas for our trade and the maintenance of our overseas possessions, located primarily in the western Pacific and Indian Oceans. We are a democratic nation with an elected Parliament to legislate and execute written laws, however, we have a unique royal family of British descent, however with Russified names in order to appease the large Russian minority. Currently Parliament is “honoured to serve Emperor Mikhail Barin, or formerly Michael Barent, as Emperor of the Commonwealth of Azazia and Her Royal Possesions.” Although in practice and by law, the Emperor has little say in the running of the government outside of being the Commander-in-Chief of the Commonwealth Armed Forces and the official head of state.

The people of the Commonwealth prefer to see themselves as pragmatic progressives. You’ll find a somewhat liberal society on the British islands, more conservative on the Russian islands of the north, and the local Azazians – after whom the Commonwealth has been named – are primarily traditional although some semi-modern cities of Azazian design have started to become commercially viable. Our laws are a mixture of preventive and reactive in design – attempting to control aspects of the criminal system such as the banning of individual high-powered assault weapons (although registered handguns and hunting rifles are permitted) to prevent gun crimes in addition to our rather advanced and quite successful rehabilitation programs. In fact, although we are not part of the United Nations, they have rated us among the very safest in the world in terms of criminal activities. You’ll find that the currently divisive issue of homosexual marriage has been solved, it is permitted in the Commonwealth, although another issue of illicit narcotic usage has been officially banned – we have also attempted to ban alcohol though after limited success we were forced to repeal those laws.

The geography itself is quite varied. There are some lush jungles on the southern islands, indeed south of Imperium is a protected rainforest, although almost immediately to the north you’ll find the limit of tropical forests. Of course the Russian islands are quite cooler and some would be uninhabitable if not for the regulation of temperature from offshore ocean currents, which we are quite fortunate to have working often in our favour.

Adejaani is a Virtual Democracy, which means that we basically use the internet and the citizens literally get to debate and vote on things, though they act more as like the Congress/Senate. There are elected officials which form an Executive Branch which handles all the various Ministries (Military, Foreign Affairs, Health, Education etc)...

Though the government itself is much like the Ferengi from Star Trek, except we're not money grubbing capitalists. I guess when dealing with Adejaani, their position is "What's in it for us?" Generally, Adejaani is good with humanitarian stuff and lending assistance, though things like conflict and trade, go back to the punchline, what's in it for us.

Beyond that, we're a full democracy and we founded on four virtues, Military (Self Sufficiency); Science (Research & Development); Manufacturing (Industry); and Justice. Pacitalia has been added to my Diplomacy thread.

Space (approximately 500 x 500 meters) for the Pacitalian Embassy has been allotted on Kanaka Boulevard, in the district once called Hawk Ridge but now commonly referred to as "Embassy Row". The boulevard runs NE-SW along the Myraloea River, and overlooks the beachfront area north of FreePort (approximately 2 kilometers away). Kanaka Boulevard and the streets of FreePort are the only surface roads on which your Embassy vehicles (if any) are permitted (all other surface roads are reserved for Internal Security and/or military use). There is abundant public transportation.

You can build the Embassy yourself (with your own workers and materials) or hire workers and purchase materials locally (or any combination of the two). If you want to build it yourself, you will have to use EOE heavy equipment (available free of charge).

Note that all Embassies are separated by ridgelines and/or woods, so there is no unobstructed line of sight to any other Embassy (in case you were planning on bouncing lasers off another Embassy's windows, for example). Most Embassies are two-storey structures with a solid encricling wall (2-3 meters high) to discourage nosiness. That said, you may build (or have built) whatever style building you wish.

The city has a one-mile-diameter geodesic, quarter-sphere transparent umbrella mounted high above it to permit full, all-around viewing below the umbrella's bottom perimeter. The top of the dome roof is 1000 feet high. The bottom rim of the umbrella dome is 500 feet above the surrounding terrain, while the crater-top esplanade, looks 250 feet radially inward from the unbrella's bottom, is at the same 500-foot height. From the esplanade the truncated mountain cone slopes downwardly, inward and outward, to ground level 500 feet below.

The craters' inward and outward, exterior-surface slopes each consist of fifty terraces - the terrace floors are tiered vertically ten feet above or below one another. All the inwardly, downwardly sloping sides of the moon crater's terraced cone are used for communal life; its outward-sloping, tree-planted terraces are entirely for private life dwelling.

Eleusia is a "dispersed" maritime/aerospace country, similar to the city-states of Phoenicia and their colonies. The "Five Cities" (Tamerys, Tanefer, New Kisimaayo, Alexandria, and Tanis) are located within the jurisdiction of Somalia, though politically distinct from that nation. We also have several other cities located on islands in the Pacific and Caribbean. However, 52 percent of our population resides in floating cities and Submarisles (submersible offshore platforms) constructed in international waters throughout the world, most in the Southern Hemisphere.

A smaller segment of our population (3 percent) live aboard Zeppelins and other airmobile platforms such as air-portable "dwelling machines" that rent land the way a boat rents a slip, and relocate at the will of their owners.

Our economy is based on renewable energy, recycling of resources, automated manufacturing, and the concept of "sun income." We derive our energy from a variety of renewable sources, including solar, wind, Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion (OTEC), wave power, biomass, and biodiesel. We also employ nuclear energy in our space program, for nuclear-thermal rockets and small reactors for powering our "Mars Direct" exploration bases (three so far).

Our waste disposal program collects wastes from participating countries, and uses thermal depolarization to produce oil from it, and Enzymatic Separator technology--which mimics the way a stomach breaks down a complex array of foods into basic building blocks--to produce most of the material resourcecs our economy requires.

Unlike most national economies, which seek to protect "jobs," ours deliberately seeks to eliminate them, and enable our people to provide their means of survival through "sun income" instead of "working for a living." State-of-the-art automated factories, 3-D printing, and domed-over Permaculture and hydroponic gardening make it possible to provide every full citizen of Eleusia with a comfortable standard of living, and the free time to enjoy it.

This is accomplished through the concept of "sun income." The sun provides all humans each day with a free income of energy. It is necessary only for us to collect and utilize it. Our currency, the "solar" is redeemable for one kilowatt-hour of electricity. We also have a kind of secondary currency, known as "Shares," which represent a person's share-ownership of Eleusia's energy-producing and manufacturing capacity.

A new immigrant to Eleusia is encouraged to work in the "conventional" sector of our economy, and participate in a Share Program, in which a given percentage of their income is credited in Shares, representing the equivalent of their economic participation in expanding Eleusia's energy generation and manufacturing capacity.

Shares provide a constitutionally-mandated dividend, which is that individual's sun income. Once an individual has enough Shares to provide for their livingry necessities, they are able to "retire," and seek a life of personal enrichment, spiritual development, lifelong education, and creative attainment.

Many also choose to earn their sun income through participation in the Global Livingry Service, the world's largest per-capita international aid program, and the only one that is larger than its nation's standing military establishment. The GLS is well-equipped for rapid world-around deployment of rescue services, field hospitals, emergency shelters, environmental research teams, and other peaceful purposes.

Many sectors of our economy operate on "open source" principles, enabling us to advance rapidly in technological and material terms.


The Most Serene Republic of Eleusia is a spiritual place, enjoying a wide diversity of non-coercive religions. Our primary method of collective decision making is the Syntegration, a cybernetic, non-hierarchical form of direct democracy employing "protocols" to insure that every individal desiring to participate has an opportunity to make his or her voice count. The basic "Infoset" is a group of 30 people organized in an icosahedral geometric model, in which each individual is a "strut" (edge) of an icosahedron. The protocols of Syntegration are designed to facilitate the "reverberation" of ideas throughout the Infoset, utilizing the combined intelligence of the whole.

Officers of government have no lawmaking capability (this is done in Syntegration, subject to the limits to power enshrined in our Constitution), but may act in situations requiring immediate response.
