The plane soared above the atmosphere, it was now in space. Although not space proper, it was still travelling at speeds well in excess of the speed of light. It was an inovation of Dimmimaran technology, made by pioneering scientists at Dimmimar's Technology centre, DERN. As it slowly started the descent back into the atmosphere, the plane's crew felt nauseated at the sensation of the extreme dive. One man however, did'nt.

Gaius Serpentius was the ruling Dictator of Dimmimar. He was quite young, only thirty two. He was 6'2, had deep green eyes and brown bushy hair. His I.Q was 213, his incredible intellect helping him rule the country. His physique was in good shape too. Everything seemed perfect about him, except for one thing.

At the age of twelve, he was blinded by an accident involving a nuclear waste truck. The truck, was hit by an oncoming car and the waste was catapulted into the field where he was walking. Doctors told him that he woulld never see again. Dr Scuiot Kirondif, performed radical new therapy that enabled him to see again. A bye-product of this, was that his eyes were infused with amounts of radiation that made his eyes constantly glow acid green. Gaius had been a staunch advocator of science ever since.

"This is Dimmimaran envoy to Mississipian control, we will be able to land in three minutes. Do we have clearance to land?"

Ooc- Sorry for late reply, it's a good bet if it's a Saturday and I'm not here, it's because a gun show has called me away. And Sunday mornings are when I play with (go shooting with) whatever I happened to get at the gun show.

Ic-

"This is Mississippian Air Defense Command, you are cleared to land at Tennessee for primary inspection."
Dimmimar
15-11-2004, 17:43
"Thankyou"

The radio crackled with the voice of the pilot:

"Attention all passengers. This flight will land in five minutes." The voice fizzled out.

Gaius made himself presentable and readied himself.......

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Five minutes later.....

Gaius stepped out of the plane and onto the runway.....
Decisive Action
15-11-2004, 21:08
The Minister of Information, a one Alessandro Giulio Cesare, stepped onto the runway to greet the delegation, "Hello!" he shouted, trying to be heard over the engine of the jets around him, "Welcome to Tennessee, after we've cleared you through security, we'll move along to Mississippi."
Dimmimar
15-11-2004, 21:25
"Thankyou. My guards carry XIM Pistols and other various knives and blades" He said gesturing to the guards. "I carry a weapon myself, I am happy to give them in if this is needed."
Decisive Action
15-11-2004, 21:55
Cesare shook his head as the Commonwealth Parachute Infantry detachment present started to sweep their plane for anything and everything. "No, that isn't necessary, at least not yet, but if you are to visit with any of the nobility, or the royalty, you'll likely have to surrender your weapons, temporarily of course."
Dimmimar
15-11-2004, 21:59
"That is acceptable." Gaius replied. "May I ask how we are getting into Mississippi?"
Decisive Action
15-11-2004, 22:09
Cesared nodded as the men finished sweeping their plane down, "Yes, now that your plane has been cleared, we'll take it in..."
Dimmimar
17-11-2004, 19:06
"Thank you very much. My pilots and staff are staying here."
Decisive Action
17-11-2004, 21:03
Cesare nodded and escorted the man to the waiting plane. "Here, get in, we'll head for Jackson City..."
Dimmimar
18-11-2004, 16:52
"Thank you" Gaius replied.

Gaius stepped onboard the plane. He sat down slowly, buckling himself in.....
Decisive Action
18-11-2004, 16:59
The plane soared down the runway and gently lifted off into the air.

About four hours later, they were in Jackson City, at Fabus International Airport.

Cesare walked down the steps of the plane and looked at the Dimmimar delegates, "Well shall we go?" he asked. Then he said, in more of a commanding, yet a polite command, "This way, follow me." as he walked towards a nearby limousine.
Dimmimar
18-11-2004, 17:07
Gaius nodded. He examined the city around him, slowly processing the information through his brain.

Nice city, a bit quiet though.

Gaius stepped into the limousine. He helped himself to one of the champagne glasses in the back, pouring red wine into it....
Decisive Action
18-11-2004, 20:31
Cesare smiled, "Ah, enjoying yourself already I see, eh?"

The limousine pulled out and headed for the downtown of Jackson City, to the Supreme Commonwealth Senate, where the Czar was currently in conference with the heads of the senates of Namibia, South Africa, Lesotho, Angola, and Botswana, to discuss matters of counter-insurgency operations in their respective territories.
Dimmimar
18-11-2004, 22:30
"Yes" Gaius said slyly. "It seems very surreal. The shops are deserted."

It's Sunday!

"Oh, I remember it's Sunday isn't it? And that means that the people are in church. Am I correct?
Decisive Action
19-11-2004, 01:44
Cesare shook his head, "No, our holy day is Saturday, we are the true children of Israel, and thus our sabath is Saturday..."
Dimmimar
19-11-2004, 13:56
"Oh sorry my mistake." Gaius said blushing slightly.

The Limo pulled up in front of the building. It was impressive, extremely impressive.

Sweet Gaius thought getting out of the car.

"Shall we go in?"
Decisive Action
19-11-2004, 18:51
He nodded, "Yes, let's go..." as he stepped out of the limousine.
Dimmimar
19-11-2004, 19:06
Gaius, flanked by his bodyguards, signalled them to open the doors of the building. He entered, looking aroung, holding the door for Cesare.

"So, lead the way" He said to Cesare
Decisive Action
19-11-2004, 21:05
Cesare nodded his head as he smiled, "Yes, let's go in." He then pushed the doors open and led the way inside.

There were a half dozen or so operatives of the MSAAS inside the entrance of the Supreme Commonwealth Senate building, they were there as part of the extra security for the possibility of an imperial visit.
Dimmimar
19-11-2004, 22:17
Gaius looked around. The guards, were as he had been informed, MSAAS operatives.

"Do I need to hand in my weapons?" Gaius asked curtly. "And when will I meet with the Czar?"
Decisive Action
20-11-2004, 02:06
Cesare nodded his head, "Yes, I'm afraid so, you'll need to remove any knives, clubs, firearms, pens, pencils, or other instruments of death from your person... You'll also be passed through metal detectors and searched by hand before allowed to meet with the Czar... Standard security procedures..."
Dimmimar
20-11-2004, 18:04
"Of course" Gaius said whilst motioning to the guards to give in their weapons.

The guards gave in their weapons and Gaius did likewise...
Decisive Action
21-11-2004, 21:03
Cesare smiled, "Good, we may now proceed. Come, follow."

The men started to follow Cesare as the Minister of Information led them forward into the rotunda of the building, the acoustics such that all whispers from across the way could be heard by the men as they moved forward towards the Senate chambers.
Dimmimar
21-11-2004, 21:56
Gaius followed blindly, absent-mindedly admiring the pictures and sculptures on the walls of the building.

Such a fine piece of architecture

"I wonder what Roger Fabus will be like" He mused to himself...
Decisive Action
21-11-2004, 22:08
Cesare quickly walked ahead of them, "I'll go find the Czar and see if he is ready to receive visitors."

As he walked down the hall, they noticed half a dozen guards in body armor, each guard at least 6'6 or 6'8 in height, they were SRG... Armed with OICWs and MP-5s. Tough looking men that one wouldn't want to mess with.

A few minutes later, Cesare came back, "Yes, this way, the Czar will see you..."
Dimmimar
22-11-2004, 08:55
Into the breach...

Gaius prepared himself for the meeting. His tie was straight and neat and his suit was not crinkled.

OOC:
Sorry for some of the short replies. I'll be making more detailed ones once Gaius has met Fabus......
Decisive Action
22-11-2004, 09:00
Cesare took him all the way down the hall and to the door that opened into the private lounge the Czar was in.

He was sitting in an oversized armchair, smoking a cigar, smiling, "Ah, you must be the gentleman from Dimmimar, yes? Come in, come in."

Roger stood up from his chair, setting his cigar down as he extended his hand to shake, "A pleasure to meet you sir, you know me, yes? Czar Roger Fabus, just call me Roger, and you are?"
Dimmimar
23-11-2004, 17:50
Gaius sat down slowly, shaking Roger's hand. Gaius sat back and eyed Roger carefully. "I envy your nation" Gaius said with a deep sigh. "You have a nice country, do not let people take it away."

Gaius face brightened up suddenly. "But anyway, my name is Gaius, Gaius Serpentius. I am the High Imperator of Dimmimar. Pleased to meet you"
Decisive Action
23-11-2004, 18:18
Roger sat down, "Thank you for your kind words about my nation..." He took a cigar out of a box, cut it, and lit it, "Would you like one?"
Dimmimar
23-11-2004, 18:42
"Yes, thank you" Gaius said taking one. "So, how are you?"
Decisive Action
23-11-2004, 20:05
Roger smiled, "I am great, you?"
Dimmimar
24-11-2004, 08:42
"A little tired I admit, the combinations of jet-lag and having to rule a country don't go down very well."
Decisive Action
28-11-2004, 23:20
Roger smiled, "Yes, that can be bothersome, eh?"
Dimmimar
29-11-2004, 08:13
Gaius smiled "Ah yes, I would have prefered to have been ruler during the twenties. We generally had a large empire, until the wind of change happened. The government was very much a lapdog to Britain."

"Of course, I need to restore the infrastructure of the country, but law and order is generally very good...."

OOC:
I would have shown you my new map of Dimmimar, but I can't get the forums to host it for some reason......
Decisive Action
29-11-2004, 15:20
Roger nodded, "Yes, law and order, both are fine things to have, without them one has nothing."
Dimmimar
29-11-2004, 18:27
"Look, anyway, the main point of this visit, was to not only thank you for your aid during the civil war, but to also improve the diplomatic overview of the new regime to the Dimmimaran people." Gaius said slowly.

"The last diplomatic contact with another nation under the old Fascist regime, resulted in the complete eradication of the Sevarisian capital."
Decisive Action
29-11-2004, 21:03
Roger nodded and yawned a bit, "Yes, so tell me, how is the Dimmimar economy doing right now?"
Dimmimar
29-11-2004, 21:10
"Frighteningly well. The high tax rate works, allowing the people to keep enough to get by, whilst we purchase new weaponry and Emergent Technology."

"I need to cut down on the Nuclear arsenal. We don't need one thousand five hundred ICBM's and five hundred SLBM's! Only a fraction of that would do!"

Gaius looked at a large portrait on the wall. It seemed very noble, and dignified.

"Is that Curtis Fabus?" He enquired, gesturing to the portrait.
Decisive Action
29-11-2004, 21:25
Roger nodded, "Yes, that is my father... Anyway, your nuclear arsenal is horribly small, we have at least forty thousand ICBMS, over half a million scud launchers and nearly five million scud missiles, we also have our ICBMS with MIRVs, we have IRBMs, SRBMs, SLBMs, ALCMs, and such..."
Dimmimar
29-11-2004, 21:48
OOC:
Isn't 40,000 nuclear weapons a bit too much?

I.C:
"Nuclear weapons are irrelevant, the fear they cause is the point of them..."
Decisive Action
29-11-2004, 21:56
Roger grinned, "What really causes fear is something like our most recent design, the Racially Specific Biological Weapons, did you hear of them?"
Dimmimar
29-11-2004, 22:33
"No, although we ourselves are working on blood type virus's." Gaius replied "Tell me more..."
Decisive Action
30-11-2004, 06:15
Roger smiled, "We have the technology, indeed we have dozens of tons of actual agents, that are tailored to specific racial groups, various non-whites, Africans, Asians, Arabs, Semites, Mestizos, and then even more detailed and specific groups... The descendants of Inca, Aztec, Turks, Mongols, Somalians, and such, it's really great stuff."
Decisive Action

bump
Dimmimar
30-11-2004, 20:36
"Perhaps we could set up some kind of agreement? I would'nt mind purchasing some of these virus's." Gaius replied eagerly. "We would pay a healthy cash sum....."
Decisive Action
30-11-2004, 20:38
Roger shook his head, "No... I'm sure you can appreciate that the virus is not for sale, yes? Sorry about that though."
Dimmimar
30-11-2004, 20:40
"Ah, I do not mind, we would do the same with our blood type virus's" Gaius replied in an easygoing manner. "Do you enjoy hunting Roger?"
Decisive Action
30-11-2004, 21:00
Roger nodded, "Yes, big game mostly, bears, sharks, and such. Usually with just a knife."
Dimmimar
30-11-2004, 21:05
"Knives are good, I use short ones for bear. It is extremely dangerous, but the shortness of the knife enables you to twist through it's ribs, like this-" Gaius made a movement that gestured slitting through the ribs.

"-Then cutting the arteries and veins near the heart, or even cutting the heart."

Roger nodded, "yeah, hunting like that is great, but let's not talk about specifics so soon before dinner, okay?"
Dimmimar
30-11-2004, 22:25
"Ah I am sorry, I forgot my etiquette. Ah, alas, for the population of bears in Dimmimar is somwhere around ninety, so I had to ban hunting...."
Decisive Action
30-11-2004, 22:28
Roger frowned, "Ah, that's awful... We can clone bears for you, have millions in months..."
Dimmimar
30-11-2004, 22:46
"Yes that would be nice." Gaius replied gratefully. "As much as I don't wish to appear rude, when will dinner be? I had nothing on the plane...."
Decisive Action
30-11-2004, 22:48
Roger shrugged a bit, "I'm not sure, within twenty minutes I believe. The chef is making pheasant today, is that okay with you?"
Dimmimar
30-11-2004, 22:51
"Yes that is fine. A fine dish, pheasant. I haven't had it since the summer of um, let me see-" Gaius thought about it for a moment. "-nineteen ninety three."
Decisive Action
30-11-2004, 22:59
Roger chuckled a bit, "Much too long, pheasant is something one must eat more often, you'll love it, our pheasant is so much better than other's pheasant, truly an eating experience."
Dimmimar
30-11-2004, 23:02
"Ah yes, somewhat of an aquired taste. But anyway, things are perking up for us. We may be joining the Global Dominion of Dictators against Democracy [GDODAD], have you heard of them?
Decisive Action
30-11-2004, 23:03
Roger shook his head, "No, I can't say that I have... Tell me though, you know of Doctor Baldur von Schacht, yes? He married one of your top party officials if I do recall, Eva Khakoris, yes? Perhaps you'd like to meet with them in a while, eh?"
Dimmimar
01-12-2004, 08:31
"Ah yes, Eva Kakoris. A lovely person." Gaius replied thoughtfully. "I'd love to meet them."
Dimmimar
01-12-2004, 11:50
bump....
Decisive Action
01-12-2004, 14:18
Roger yawned a bit, "I think they're in Argentina actually, you do know that Baldur holds dual-citizenship, with Argentina and Mississippi, and he is originally from South Africa, well Namibia, but it was part of South Africa until 1990, but now both are in our Commonwealth..."
Dimmimar
01-12-2004, 17:42
"I heard. You had some resistance in Namibia, did'nt you?"

02-12-2004, 13:31
He shook his head, "Nothing serious enough to be called that, just a few misguided idiots, foolishly opposing us."
Dimmimar
02-12-2004, 19:16
Gaius sighed. "Alas, for they do not see the place that they hold in the hierachy of beings."
Decisive Action
02-12-2004, 20:00
Roger shook his head, "Yeah, sad isn't it?"
Dimmimar
03-12-2004, 14:20
"All white men are equal, so says the bible." Gaius quoted. "But one thing that disturbs me, does Curtis and the other bunch of Mississippian scientists really believe that Mississippians are superior?" Gaius skepticised.
Decisive Action
03-12-2004, 15:08
Roger shook his head, "No, my father only publicly believes it because perhaps a third of the population believes it, and he wants to have more influence with them. Mladic and Franz Von Schacht, I think they really do believe it, but only a few of the cabinet do, not many."
Dimmimar
03-12-2004, 19:40
"A great man, but blinded by his power, any person will tell you that Mississippians, although a great and refined people, still are homo sapiens."
Decisive Action
03-12-2004, 21:03
Roger nodded, "Yes, of course, of course. I agree totally."
Dimmimar
03-12-2004, 21:19
OOC:
Where are we going with this thread? I mean this dialogue is a bit monotonous.

I had plans for a group, the DLA, or Dimmimaran Liberation Army, to attempt to assassinate Gaius, although I'm not sure how they could get into Mississippi with weaponry? Any ideas?

By the way, If Sevaris declares war on you, you have my military support....
Decisive Action
03-12-2004, 21:25
Ooc- There are plenty of weapons inside Mississippi (over 20 billion privately owned firearms and a gun store about every 1/2 mile). It wouldn't be overly difficult for a proven right-wing white Christian male to get a weapon. But the question then is, what reason would this right-wing white male have for attempting to assassinate the right-wing white Christian male leader?
Dimmimar
03-12-2004, 22:09
OOC:
The DLA is a far-left, communist group. It was once recognized as a party, but it was declared void by Gaius. The members have set up cells all over the world, and its hard to track them down...

Ooc- Remember, with our Thought Police Technology, we pretty much determine who is really loyal, and who isn't. Those who only fake loyalty, are quietly "disappeared" from society. It's not enough to publicly love and obey the Czar and the regime, you have to in your head, in your thoughts, love and obey.

Gaius nodded in contempt. He took a long puff on his cigar and started to speak. The clock struck six, cutting of Gaius' speach. After the chimes had ended, Gaius returned to his conversation.

"Ah, but anyway, why did Curtis abdicate?"
Decisive Action
09-12-2004, 19:58
Roger shook his head, "He was ill at the time, and is still somewhat recovering, he basically was under too many pressures and stresses, you know, yes?"
Dimmimar
09-12-2004, 20:17
"Hmmm." Gaius was deep in thought.

When will dinner be?

Gaius returned to the conversation. "Yes I can understand it myself."
Decisive Action
09-12-2004, 20:25
Roger looked over to a servant who was standing around who then nodded and said, "Ah yes, it should be ready right now, let me go check and if so, I'll have them bring it up."
Dimmimar
13-12-2004, 18:45
Whilst Roger was out, Gaius looked around, investigating the room. It was large, nice, but a little to formal for Gaius' liking.

Umm

Gaius started to think to himself, waiting for Roger to come back.
Decisive Action
13-12-2004, 18:51
Roger came back, with the servants in toe, each one holding a tray of food.

Roger sat down across from Gaius and said, "Okay, it's ready..."
Dimmimar
13-12-2004, 18:59
Gaius got comfortable in his chair, whilst grabbing his knife and fork. He started to cut the pheasant, taking his time in slicing through it. He took a chunk, putting it into his mouth and chewing. It tasted delicious, Gaius was pleased. He grabbed another slice and ate, then took his drink and drank a bit of it.

So anyway, how is your life going, in general." Gaius enquired.
Decisive Action
14-12-2004, 04:41
Roger smiled a bit and then started to eat, "So, are you enjoying the food?"

He didn't realize Gaius had asked him a question, he quickly answered, "Oh, life is great, I have a lovely wife, who has already given me one son and is pregnant with twins, my next son and daughter... Mississippi is doing fine, the crops in Mississippian Egypt and South Africa are bountiful, the oil flows freely in Mississippian Egypt and Angola, what more could I want?"
Decisive Action
19-12-2004, 10:04
cough, cough, bump, bump, your move...
Dimmimar
23-12-2004, 14:29
"Yes, yes. The food is good." Gaius took another mouthful, eating it slowly, he took a swig of the drink and then put it down, swallowing his food. Gaius smiled, "I myself have no wife or children. In fact, my only living relatives is my mother. She constantly implores me to marry, and I think that she is right. But for the moment, I am happy."

Gaius took another mouthful, waiting for a response....
Decisive Action
24-12-2004, 02:24
Roger smiled, "You should really marry."
Dimmimar
24-12-2004, 15:25
"Ah, my best friend is married and he seems happy. I need children, to love and to carry on my line."
Decisive Action
24-12-2004, 23:44
Roger nodded his head a bit, and then smiled, "Well really, you should get yourself a wife and have some kids... If you want, some of our noblemen have unmarried sisters, fine ladies... I could introduce you to some of them if you wish."
Dimmimar
25-12-2004, 19:13
"That would be brilliant, thank you." Gaius replied eagerly back.
Decisive Action
25-12-2004, 23:40
Roger nodded his head and yawned a bit, "It's getting late eh? Perhaps we can continue this conversation in the morning?"
Dimmimar
26-12-2004, 14:48
"Yes, I must get some sleep. Can I arrange somewhere for my guards to sleep?"
Decisive Action
26-12-2004, 14:51
Roger immediately replied, "Of course, the hotel across the street, the entire first three floors are already reserved for your party, you may stay in the penthouse if you wish, nobody is using it right now, I made sure of it, it's all yours if you wish... Some of my SRG will stand guard on the roof and balcony for you."
Dimmimar
26-12-2004, 21:29
"Thank you, that will be fine." Gaius replied. "Good night, and thank you for your hospitality." Gaius replied, a servant guiding him out of the room.
Decisive Action
27-12-2004, 00:43
The servant led him up to the room he was to stay in. After they got there, he pushed open the door and then said, "Sir, your room... If you wish for any feminine company, food, drink, or anything, it could be arranged."
Decisive Action

OOC:
I'll rp it as gaius just getting up.

I.C:
Gaius got up, slowly flexing his muscles. He stood up, putting the kettle on and grabbing a mug. Yawning, he wandered over to his trunk and looked at what he should wear.

Black, brown or casual?

He picked up a casual shirt, his suit concealed it, but the suit could be taken off he needed to do any form of leisure activity. Gaius walked over to the phone, dialing the room service.

"Hello, this is Gaius, I was wondering whether you could please bring some teabags upstairs for me thank you."

Gaius waited, the kettle whistling in the background...

About five minutes later, they had hot steaming tea up in his room, the waiter smiled and said, "Here you are sir, anything else?"
Dimmimar
04-01-2005, 10:27
"Not that is all, thank you." He dismissed the waiters and relished his hot tea.

He finally finished it and put the cup down on the table. He got dressed for the day, then left the room. He looked to the corridor, it branched off into two different directions, left or right? He took the left one, hoping to find somebody that would take him to Roger or someone....
Decisive Action
04-01-2005, 10:43
There were two SRG personnel just down the hall, one appeared to be a captain the other a corporal, talking about various political issues and current events.

The captain turned and looked at Gaius, "Ah, sir, are you up already? The Czar and Czarina are still both asleep, they'll be up shortly though, although the Czarina might not be up until later..." He chuckled a bit, "I was standing guard outside their room last night, let's just say she is probably very tired, and leave it at that. You know? Hahahaha."

The corporal laughed a bit to and then saluted Gaius.

Gaius smirked. "I'll just take a wander around the grounds." Gaius walked off through a corridor. He was in the same big hall he was taken through yesterday. He sat down on one of the chairs and picked up one of the newspapers, reading it...

The title of the paper, "The Citizen's Guide" had the main headline, "Is Roger Fabus The Second Coming of Jesus Christ?"

The article went on for twelve pages, front and back, with comments from various bishops and religious leaders, asserting that Roger Fabus was indeed at least the mortal manifestation of the will of God, if not more likely the Second Coming of Christ Himself.

The article ended with some remarks from the Czar, telling people he was just a humble follower of God and not to revere him to the point of idolatry and sin, and that they should devote themselves to God first, and Czar second.

Gaius soon read the article and got back up again. He wandered around and looked to the other side of the room. A big poster with the Big Brother emblem was on it.

The thought police...

Gaius sat down again, deep in thought...

About twenty mintues later, Roger came walking by downstairs, looking for Gaius, Roger was dressed in his standard Czar's uniform, with his custom expensive leather boots and his white Czar's cap with the silver eagle. He looked ahead at Gaius, "Ah, greetings, Gaius, how are you? Did you sleep well?"
Dimmimar

"Yes thank you. The room is very nice though."

Roger yawned a bit, "Yes, well I didn't do too much sleeping last night if you catch my drift." He smiled at Gaius, as he chuckled a bit, "You know what I mean, eh?"

Roger then looked down the hall, towards one of the dinning rooms, "So, you want to go get some breakfast?"
Dimmimar
04-01-2005, 15:28
Gaius smirked once more. "Yes, I take it that Alice did'nt get any sleep either?" Gaius laughed. "Breakfast would be nice, thanks."

04-01-2005, 15:30
Roger smiled, and in an innocent tone said, "You know something, you're right, Alice didn't get much sleep either last night..."

He then chuckled a bit once more and pointed off down the hall, "Come, this way, breakfast awaits, you've not had breakfast until you've had a Mississippian breakfast."
Dimmimar
04-01-2005, 15:41
"I'll take your word for that."

Gaius followed Roger, then pondered about something.

"The thought police, would they have to go through my mind?!"

04-01-2005, 15:44
Roger walked into the room and then sat down after Gaius had taken a seat.

The servants were quick to bring out the food, a typical Mississippian breakfast (at least for the upper classes). Steak, mushrooms, toast, eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, pancakes, and fresh orange juice.

Roger started to eat after Gaius had, and then asked him, "Like it? So, any thoughts on what you want to do today? Perhaps a tour of a nearby SRG base?"

What are the gunmen going to do exactly (will anybody be killed or seriously injured? Will they escape? Do you have IM so we could talk more thoroughly about this. Just so long as you don't do anything serious to my characters, I guess it is okay, if you want your guy shot up, he is after all, your guy. Just don't go shooting up my folks less of course we talked bout it) :)

Roger smiled, "Yes, Jackson City is a lovely place, isn't it? Although it's a bit too crowded for my liking, nearly one hundred million people live in the city and the immediate suburbs, one-hundred and fifty million if you count the slightly more distant suburbs."
Dimmimar
03-02-2005, 20:43
"Phew, Annuminatar has only twelve million people and is nowhere as large as here." Gaius replied. "But yes, visiting the base sounds nice. I have witnessed their discipline. I once went to Luxor on holiday, I could see your troops on the other side of the Nile. I think they were parading."

Gaius waited for a response...

Roger nodded his head again, not sure what to say, so he just said, "Hmmm, sounds interesting..." then he thought of a question which might spark some conversation, "So, please, tell me, what was your civil war like? Did it leave a lot of things in ruins?"
Dimmimar
03-02-2005, 21:05
"It was horrible. Erelion Isandorne, the former leader of the revolution was my mentor. When he died, I took over. But yes, I have witnessed death and ruin come to my country. I hate killing other Dimmimaran's, it feels terrible."
Decisive Action
03-02-2005, 21:11
Roger shuddered as he thought about the history of the 1984 Civil War, over 500 million killed. He shook his head before saying, "Yeah, I know what you mean, back in 1984, hundreds of millions died... It was... Awful."
Dimmimar
03-02-2005, 21:16
"Ah yes, terrible. But anyway, I also came to do something else. Although our two nation have a formal peace treaty, how would you feel about an alliance between Dimmimar and Mississippi?"
Decisive Action
03-02-2005, 21:30
Roger was thrilled with the offer, immediately saying, "Yes, of course. That is great... Shall we write out the exact terms?"
Dimmimar
03-02-2005, 21:41
"We could make a very quick draft in the car on the way to the base, if you wish."

Gaius laughed. "Well, we can always make a more refined copy later."

03-02-2005, 21:56
Roger nodded his head, "Yes, that sounds great, shall we get a pen out then?"

"Yes, I have one here." He responded, whipping out his pen.

04-02-2005, 14:12

Within about ninety seconds, he had written two pages worth of specific alliance terms.
Dimmimar
04-02-2005, 14:20
Gaius took the paper and had a look at it. It seemed well, but he needed to add a few more things.

"We have extensive oil supplies within Dimmimar and the newly conquered Indonesian archipelago, would you like access to our supplies?" Gaius queried.
Decisive Action
04-02-2005, 15:01
Roger shook his head, "Normally, I'd decline, since we produce five hundred million barrels of oil per day, totally, throughout our Federation... But, we are selling one hundred million barrels to Kahta, daily... So we'll buy some off you, so we can have more overall, you know?"
Dimmimar
04-02-2005, 17:50

I presume they've got into the car. The DLA members will attack him on his way back from the base. Although they won't kill him. Also, shall we set out some actual terms for the alliance now or later?

04-02-2005, 19:47

Roger nodded his head and took back the pen, writing a few more things down as they came up near a sharp curve in the road near a large grove of trees.

05-02-2005, 19:53
James sat down on the bench. This was indeed his hardest assignment, the laws to get inside Mississippi were draconian. He was carrying a long rifle in a sports bag. It's dynamic shape and the size of the bullets meant that it could penetrate bulletproof armour. Heaven knows how the DLA got their hands on one, but it was better not to ask. He knew his mission, kill that bastard Serpentius and get out, quickly. He had done assignments like this before, but never on someone with such a high profile. He would have to be extremely careful not to arouse suspicion and give his cover away. His actual name whilst he was here was Joseph Langdon, his fathers name. He got up from the bench and walked away, down to the city plaza, and eventually to catch a taxi.

A car brushed past him quickly, he glimpsed at it. It looked posh and royal. A thought ocurred to him. Gaius could be inside the car! After all, he had no doubts that it was anyone's apart from the Czar himself, the bigoted freak.

James walked along the road, looking for a vantage point so that he could catch them on their return journey, if they came by this route....
Decisive Action
05-02-2005, 20:11
The driver looked around as the car was approaching the curve, a bit on edge about other drivers or trucks that were known to use this part of the road, the curve, driving on both sides. Most highways in Mississippi were 8 to 16 lanes on each side, but this was just a two lane rural highway.

The two SRG in the car, in the middle section, looked around as well, always taking in the changing scenery, looking for anything out of place.

Roger handed Gaius back the pen, before he nervously started tapping his fingers, saying, "Well, we ought to be there soon, eh? So tell me, was your nation broadcasting stuff about my friend, Baldur Von Schacht? I really don't want the man to look bad, you know?"
Dimmimar
05-02-2005, 20:23
"Yes, there was a lot of coverage in the news, but only the Dimmimaran Times did anything really lengthy." Gaius nodded.

"You see, Dimmimar is a bomb waiting to go off, if I took away some of the outdated old concepts like freedom of the press then the outcry would topple my rule. I look at the mistakes of the past, if I slowly infiltrate my followers into the ranks of the press, then can I broadcast whatever I want to the people."
Decisive Action
05-02-2005, 20:31
Roger nodded his head, "Hmmm, I just hope nobody here really reads that, eh? It's basically unique to your nation, right? As for your national problems, if you'd like, the SRGIO could help crush your political enemies."
Dimmimar
05-02-2005, 20:36
"Not really, the Dimmimaran Times has outlets in most of the world, including Mississippi." Gaius responded. "The SRGIO wouldn't be able to help, I have to toe the line, the Dimmimaran Liberation Army is in stalemate with me, If I attack them, they attack me."
Decisive Action
05-02-2005, 21:56
Roger grinned, "Yeah, that is the way to work it, if they attack you, crush them... You know what I mean?"

He sighed a bit, "Well if you need any help ever, with anything, don't be afraid to ask, we all got to take care of our kind, you know what I mean?"

07-02-2005, 21:19
"Ah, looks like we're here." Gaius gestured to the military base. The driver stopped the car and parked.
Decisive Action
07-02-2005, 21:27
Roger nodded his head, stepping out just after his guards had, the two guards scanned the nearby woods and brush for any signs of anything that ought not to have been there.

Roger smiled as he tapped the Walther PPK in his shoulder holster, just making sure it was still there.
Dimmimar
07-02-2005, 21:32
"Nice gun, my XIM's only a 10mm. I go for stealth." Gaius responded quickly."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
James leaned forward, slowly cocking the gun. He pulled it back. The vantage point was brilliant, he could see for miles and with his gun, he could shoot anyone, literally. All he had to do now was to wait for the High Imperator to return back...

Unlucky bastard...

07-02-2005, 21:48
Roger shook his head, smiling before saying, "No, not at all, please feel welcome to... In fact if you'd like, we can get you a camera..."
Dimmimar
07-02-2005, 21:50
"That would be brilliant, thank you. I know how to operate a camera."
Decisive Action
07-02-2005, 21:53
Roger snapped his fingers and a nearby SRG officer produced a small video camera, a pocket sized one, it recorded to a small rectangular disk that was only as thick as a dozen dollar bills.

The officer handed the camera to Gaius, saying, "There you are sir, just press the green button and you're going, red stops, and blue pauses..."
Dimmimar
07-02-2005, 21:56
"Idiot proof" Gaius muttered to himself. "Shall we get going then, Roger?" Gaius said....
Decisive Action
07-02-2005, 21:59
Roger smiled as he saw Gaius seemed to be enjoying the camera, quick to reply though, with, "Yes, of course, let's go..."

As they were walking towards the base entrance, there was a patrol of BMP-3s rumbling by. There were men with AKM rifles riding on the tops of the armored vehicles, each seemed to be scanning the woods in the distance, they were paranoid men, always one their guard, even here in Mississippi.

It appeared to be some kind of refactory cum class. He could see women cooking meals for the men. The women were being instructed by a rather tall and slim woman, she was barking out orders, and the women complied, taking the food to the men. Intrigued, Gaius walked over to her.

I was sort of going along with this seeing where it would go, but no offense, you're basically RPing what MS military bases are like, and this is NOTHING like what an MS military base is like. Ooc- Nah, in high school, the girls cook for the boys for breakfast and lunch, you must have read that one. :) It's okay though. Anyway, at the military bases, the male cooks and the grunts on KP handle the food, either that or soldiers just eat what their wives or mothers provide (often times mothers send warm lunches to soldiers for those weekend maneuvers in the cold rain... yah, a lot of MS guys are momma's boys)

He extended a pistol towards Gaius, offering to let him try it out.
Dimmimar
16-02-2005, 19:58
Gaius inwardly frowned. He wasn't that good at firing any kind of firearm. Yes, it paid to be courteous.

Gaius fired, four shots in rapid succession, all of them had flung widly off course and not even hit the target.

16-02-2005, 21:10
The officer stepped over to him and handed him a different pistol, a 9mm rather than the 45 he had been using, suggesting, "Why don't you try that, it's easier to handle..."

Roger then stepped close to Gaius and helped him steady and aim the gun, saying, "Just ease back on the trigger after you line up the sights... Remember, hold your breath and just ease it, don't pull..."
Dimmimar
16-02-2005, 21:44
"Ah, yes, I'm not that good with guns. I'm a good fencer, but I need some practice with my aim."

Gaius aimed the gun. He pulled the trigger and fired, taking Roger's advice. When the smoke cleared, he had hit three out of his five shots.

"Not bad." Gaius said to himself.

Roger smiled as he cracked a bit of a grin, pleased to see that his guest thought well of his stay thus far in Mississippi. Roger had always wanted to be a good host, and he felt it was great that he making a good impression. Really, he shouldn't leave diplomacy to anybody except a few of his closest family and friends, and himself. It was too fragile a thing to be left to untrained and uncultured ignorant people.

After a few seconds he replied, "Really? Sure, I'd love to come to Dimmimar, I'm sure Alice would love it also."

Roger started the engine and quickly called for 3 nearby SRG to join him in the tank, it required a crew of 5 to function at maximum efficiency. The bare minimum was obviously just 1, a driver, and ideally 2, a commander/navigator and the driver.

He tapped Gaius gently on the shoulder, asking, "Where do you want to go first?"

Immediately a platoon of Republican Guard was sent to search the entire area, leaving nothing unturned. They were using dogs and heat detectors to sense anything that was out of place.

They would have sent more men, but they would just mess up the track and the scent. Thirty was plenty, these men were trackers anyway, it wouldn't be long...

James started to fret, he hadn't counted on being captured. He knew the risks when he signed up for the job, risk of death et cetera. But he finally knew why nobody else has chosen this assignment. The DLA were counting on him to die so that they wouldn't have to pay him the extravagant price of five million Imperial Yans. At least they had given him poison though, he had no intention of being tortured. James sat down slowly, fumbling with the poison in his pocket.

He took it out and unscrewed the cap, tossing it into the ground nearby. Defiantly, he started to frantically scribble out some words on a small piece of paper.

Here I lie, a martyr for the cause of Democracy. We will liberate Dimmimar, we will destroy the bigoted regime of the Fascist scum. And when were done with them, we'll come get you!

James stood up, thrusting the poison down his mouth. It tasted bitter, like fermented oats. He could feel the numbness already, his legs wobbled and he collapsed to the ground. He felt it crawl up his waist. He tried to think.

But he no longer lived...

The RG found the body a short while after, within minutes actually, and they quickly administered a poison antidote in hopes of reviving the man.

They wondered if it would work.

The RG kicked and shook the body after the man failed to be revived, but they were forced to admit he was dead, he wasn't faking it.

Finally one of them thumped him in the eye with his index finger, the ultimate test to determine if he was really dead.

He was...

Gaius woke up screaming. The pain shooting up his chest was unbearable. He felt horrible and knew that if he died, they're would be chaos in Dimmimar. He had not thought of naming a successor. This thought kept him going. He lay back down and waited patiently, for nothing.

The doctors were at his side, they'd saved him, but he was in pain, one of them immediately increased the dose of pain-killers that he was on. He then tapped him gently on the shoulder and said, "Sir, are you okay? Can you hear me?"

Roger was standing nearby, he quickly walked over to Gaius and said, "Great news, you're alive, the man who tried to kill you though, sadly is dead... I wish we could have captured him... Say, not that it's the best time to bring up, but we have a problem, your ambassador Joseph in Jackson City, he is doing a lot to interfere with our internal family problems in the nobility. I was wondering perhaps if we could rough him up a bit and see if that quiets him up, if not, well..."

Roger was reluctant to continue, "If not, well... We might have to ask your permission to... Permanently silence him..."

"Well, explain the problem to me." Gaius responded weakly, clutching his shoulder.

Roger sighed and then started to explain, "Well you see, Dr. Schacht is soon to have a son since his wife is due to deliver soon. But she seems to have left him. The Schacht line is near the end, so we can't allow the future of their line to just be taken away like that... Anyway, if we need to, we'd like your permission to silence the ambassador..."

"Can't we sort this out peacefully? If Eva could have some limited access to the child that would be fine and I could tell Joseph to stop protesting." Gaius replied.

Roger shook his head, "No, afraid not... See, she'd likely corrupt the boy and turn him against his father, or try to steal him away... But it'd do her no good, this being Mississippi, she'd never get out, she'd just traumatize the boy. I think we really ought to just consider elimination of Eva and Joseph as the only real options at hand."
Dimmimar
17-02-2005, 22:33
"I'm sorry Roger but I can't accept that, Joseph and Eva have proved to be loyal servants of the regime, killing them would send out the wrong message. Also, Joseph might be the High Imperator once I've died, I'm not sure about that bit though."

Roger frowned, sighing before replying, "You know, I'm asking you this as a favor, we did save your life from that Dimmimarian terrorist who shot you... Yes, he was one of yours, they found the body within ten minutes after you were shot, I meant to tell you first thing when you came to... But anyway, please grant me this one favor and grant us your blessing to, if necessary, eliminate them, at least the woman."

Roger sighed, "I'm sorry that's not good enough... We did save your life you know, I'd hope you'd be a little more flexible."

He then suddenly suggested, "You know, there is an alternative, talk to her and convince her to go back to Baldur..."
Dimmimar
17-02-2005, 22:44
"Um, I could but Eva is something of a hothead. Very impetuous. I doubt that I could convince her, mabye Joseph could." Gaius responded.

Roger shrugged again, "Meh... I dunno..." before he was quick to suggest, "Hey, how about we just have the memories of finding out what Baldur had done, erased out of her brain?"
Dimmimar
17-02-2005, 22:53
"No Roger! If you erased her memories this would happen again in a few years, with disastrous affects. I'm sure that Joseph will be able to convince her."

Roger nodded his head, "Well then, I've got to make a few calls, since I had anticipated your approval of the elimination, and gone ahead and okayed Franz's plans already..."

Roger then quickly ran out of the room and started dialing on his cellular phone as he was still in the hallway, running to get outside to get better reception.

About five minutes later, Roger came back into the room, he was shaking his head, frowning and not knowing what to say, so he just said it, "Franz tells me she's already dead and there is nothing he can do it, we're too late..."

Of course Franz was lying, he was intending to have the SRGIO go through with killing her, nobody would ever be the wiser as to when she died.

Roger then wondered if he ought to contact SRGIO Command and have them contact the team in the field, so he could hear it from the captain's mouth, what the situation was. He asked Gaius, "Think I ought to keep making calls?"
Dimmimar
17-02-2005, 23:07

17-02-2005, 23:30
"Roger look, I honestly don't know how many could get in but the DLA usually give huge backup to missions like this. He would have had at least a dozen to eighty people infiltrating. At the best, they'll be easy to crush. At the worst, they'll wreak havoc."
