The remaining light tanks moved foward to harrass the german infanfrty and light vechiles with great effect. The light tanks took out 700 german infantry units 30 light vechiles with out suffering any casulties because of their manuervability. The elite Spniash meduim and heavy tank divion moved foward and targeted the german light tnaks once agian wiping out 60 of the weaker and less armoured oponenets. with only sustainig damage to 1 of the medium tanks which was repaired shortly.

To add to the carnage further approximately 500 light tanks 350 medium tanks and 200 heavy tansk moved foward and devastated the german infantry and tank forces. The already battle damaged german forces were taken unaware by the sudden attaack and over 3000 german soldiers fell as well as 50 heavy tanks 70 medium tanks and all light tanks that suruvued the previous attacks. the spnaish only lost 2 hevay tanks 5 medium tanks and 10 light tanks.

After the spanish had finished the slaugghter the spniash forces pulled back to the border and set up defensive positions.

Several more AA guns wre constructd and this time it was closer to the atillery and other defensive units.

Once again the german air commander was almost as stupid as the one who commanded the groudn assault. Since the german bombers flew straight for madrid the AA guns en route and the spnaish air force on patrol devastated the bombers as they flew past. Less then 3 of the original bombers made it back to german air space. As the ritish bombers approached sevral pre built AA guns openind fire and destroyed many of the british bombers. reports indicate that the few that thought they had made it back to the british carreirs wrere suprised to find the british fleet destryed and were forced by over whelming spnaish air craft to makke a laning in a rmetoe air feild. Thes men were again flown to australia via a civilan sea plane.

As the german army passed by several remaiing snipers opened fire on the german officers and then changed positions effetivily leaving the german army de moralised and leaderless.

As the british fleet came near spain they were met with the half comleted divioson of 3 crusiers and 5 destoiyers and 1 battle shp. These were completly destroyed except for 2 of the crusiers and 3 of the destroyers.

Since ther british were concentrating on that division the trition fleet which was anchored fo the coast or russia had been ordered back to spain ad as they approacedh they attacked the british vessesl from behind griinding the entire fleet to pieces. TO make matters worse for the british all their air craft were out on a bombing radia nd the spanish carriers aire force were free to devastate the british navy. hardly any of the british vessels survived the attack and the remaing british forces that included
2 british crusiers 3 destroyers and 1 heavy crusier surrenedered when they were surrounded and are now being taken over and are to to be re crewed with spanish naval personnal and are to join the spanish navy. The captured british navy persoonal were trasported via civilian transport to Australia. (an ally of britian)

its 180mm - 200mm amour would have been almost impossible to stop and its 128mm gun is most adverage condsidering the russians used a 150mm gun one ot there (SPG) Self propelled guns

and missile wizes it would have been impossible you would need a wall of constant flak which is impossible even some will get through rockets like the v1 where shoot down over enlgand by high speed planes but thes is a expecption as missles used would be so much smaller than the v1 which ake a probabilty of a hit less un likely

ten minutes after this utterance, the whole of the offensive forces were on the attack. the destroyed artilery was eisily ooverrun and all airbases were bombed to the ground by fast moving jets. once again, forces were at the outskirts of madrid, but this time, way better prepared. they had madrid surrounded, no ammo or food would enter.

You can research and construct a bomb just fine. But testing. You need to make sure the thing works, right? And you need empty space, like the Southwest deserts. When you test, shock waves will affect seismometers, even if the explosion is above ground.

OK, well you right about the testing, and the base in Bremuda was just for providing a safe place if you have troubles in the Atlantic, and it's also for protection of the Atlantic, but by all means if you want to land in Britain go ahead.

The spanish military have pulled back to madrid. There is a river running through Madrid called the Manzanares River and the spnaish forces have pulled back there. Troppes have taken up defenseive postions on the otehr side of the river and atillery have been told to targert the bridges and other acess routes into that side of madrid the bulk of the spnsih army had survived the german attack and are now forming up in the second half of madrid where the river sheilds them from any attack. A lot of AA guns have been constructed around madrid to prevent any air attacks from suceeding The bulk of the spnish AA vehicles are now fromin gup to thawrt any paratropper landings and to help prtoect against german air strikes. Spanish tropps have been told to fight guerilla warfare and since all of them have had extensive traiing in this as that was how it was hoped to originally fight the germans it will be easy for them. The hit and run divion and the elite heavy and medium tank divions have also pulled back into the madrid city. Several untis have retreated into the mountains to form up a secondary defene line but ther germn intelligence have no way of finding out waht units retreateda nd how much as their air craft will have to fly past too many AA guns and spanish air craft on patrol. Actually, Germany did have special ops. Read about Otto Skorzeny. He was rather prolific and conducted some very daring special ops. The Germans also had piloted "kamikaze-like" V1 rockets where the pilot could eject before impact. And the death squads numbers' were augmented by the Wehrmacht (regular army) as well. Note, death squads are not gestapo. Gestapo were secret police, death squads were completely different and mostly on the Russian Front. Death squads did no intelligence work, as the Gestapo did; they simply killed Jewish people. Please read just a tad bit about the second world war before you go around bullying poor German wanna be people, because you're more or less inaccurate on just about every qualm you raised. Some of you showed some really cool creativity in your role-play, in spite of lack of sticking with reality. Several of you showed an absolutely incredible knowledge of history involving the time. As several of you stated, this was the first experience with role-playing for many of you. Doing something based on actual history, is very challenging, because you want to be creative, but there were reasons that things wen't the way that they did. With the percentage of new-comers to role-playing in the group, you handled that challenge fairly well.
Some of you were ever thirsty for battle, and some of you were persistently persuing peaceful resolution. At the end of the day, this is just a game, but bitter strife between each other in real life is a very different thing. You could easily just say, "Forget these people," and never talk to any of them again, but if that is the only resolution to conflicts in our lives we build up a lot of bitterness.
Before I sound too much like a psychologist (if it's not too late already), just let me say this, remember: 1) It's just a game. 2) (as some of you are learning) In role-playing, it's about playing the role, not winning every fight. 3) Learning together is a lot more fun than getting an uber-teacher. 4) Real-life is important. People are important, and therefore friends are important.
Most of my experience in thinking about WWII has come from playing Axis & Allies, but I have a little bit of specific knowledge of the times. If I have time, maybe I could take-over for the recently resigned leader, but if not, I hope all of you will be able to find great things to be thankful for during this Thanksgiving season and throughout your life. I hope you will also be able to enjoy some fun role-playing with people that may become friends or may just be cool acquaintences.

So, I just now saw that someone had suggested that I be the U.S. There are two possibilities here:

A: If you don't mind me going back to when the U.S. was first attacked, I could role-play something that could have happend if Endland and Germany had attacked the U.S.
B: If we must go with everything that has been said, we can make it sound almost realistic if we say that all the national, state, and local military of the U.S. found some crack and got really high. That way the whole country could be easily over-run, and it would not have retalliated at all.
A: What would most likely happen is that military from all over the place would descend upon the whole eastern coast, attacking everything of GB and Germany's militaries, except for two bombers, with a few fighters as escorts. One would drop a nuke on London, and the other would drop a nuke on Berlin. :gundge: Then the U.S. diplomats in each country would tell them that if each country removed all troops from the U.S. and did no more harm to the U.S. in any way, they would get to still exsist.
B: If we can't go back at all in time, then as all the living military comes down from being high, the one general who didn't get high sends the nukes with the one Air Force group that didn't get high, and the messages are relayed to your government via the U.S. diplomats.

You can choose how you want to role-play it, but there were very good reasons that U.S. soil wasn't attacked, except the one time we all know about. We all know the response as well.

There are currently 42 divisions in action and 8 shattered remnants in areas under occupation setting up pockets of resistance but being choked for lack of supplies.
3 further divisions have managed to flee to Canada

1 Battalion has been sent to reinforce Hawaii
Eastern Samoa has been ceded to New Zealand
Boston is putting up strong resistance as well as the rest of NE :D

Japanese press realsead to day the details of the Pearl harbor Raid by the 1st Carrier strike force commanded by Admiral Yamamoto which caught the American pacific fleet unaware until it was to late a total of 644 fighters, bombers and torpedo bomber toke off from 8 carrier decks including the three Toso Class Carriers this is the first time the Carriers have been used in combat the result was a disaster for the Americans

The first wave of 300 Aircraft went for the battleships and the two aircraft carriers the USS enterprise escaped as she was at Midway which has not been attacked by Japanese forces yet but how much can one aircraft carrier do to change the tide

The first Battleship USS Oklahoma is stuck by at least five torpedoes and she rolls over trapping the men inside with the loss of at least 400 men The Next battleship to be destroyed was USS Arizona by a type 91 aerial bomb which penetrated here magazine and exploded which tore the ship apart she went down with 1,177 men

Other ships that where badly hit such as USS Nevada which was subject to intense air attack by Japanese aircraft because she was the only battleship which got under way during the raid at least three torpedoes and several bombs had stuck her before she sank near the entrance of pearl harbor

The 3 destroyers 1 Aircraft carrier and the battleship Arizona have attacked the Phillippines.

the aim of the mission was to extradite as many men still left on the islands now under Japanese control.

Casulties for the campign were of the 28000 defenders 3500 prisoners unable to be saved 2000 dead and 1680 wounded which was considerably lower than expected but because of the capitulation the number of wounded was lower than normal.

Of the rescue force 1 destroyer was lost 22 Brewster buffalos and 4 B-25 Liberators*
at a total cost of 168 men dead 68 wounded from the destroyer of which all survivers were rescued 30 men were lost from the air assualt.

America has managed to create 3 more Divisions from the recently liberated areas of New York and Conneticut although they are mostly substandard and obviously have no proper training or adequte weapons due to the fact that arms are in short supply because of the Germans possesing them.

The remainig Marine task force units are securing their positions in New York and working at squeezing out any pockets of resistence still remaining including the Hartford line streching across the Conneticut river.

The 1st NY Coward Division has pushed down to the Hudson but German forces across the River are halting any further advance.

Holy crap dude, with an average of 93 planes per Carrier you only needed about 4 carrier vessels. Not a good idea to have your entire carrier force engaging the small island of midway. :eek:
