OOC>Germany did not have spec ops, and kamikazes<=this is how you spell it are not only Japanese, but were planes that dove into ships in an attempt to sink them. The death squads were gestapo, and they were more like secret police, they rounded up Jews and kept tabs on the population. Most the time they were men who did not have the dicipline for regular army, but had a special nack for getting information out of people. No offence, but maybe you should beef up on your history before rushing in. To the creator, you forgot Italy (Not a huge role, but considered the soft underbelly of Europe, and are where the first invasions by the Allies were staged), Canada had a pretty big part in D-Day, and I think Austrailia had a medium sized role in the S. Pacific

Hmmm, the Philippines were an American colony at this time so they shouldn't be playable by anyone but the USA. Also, something seems limiting to having the game start in 1940. If it was up to me, I'd start it in January 1939 with Czechoslovakia Independant still.

i call Australia ( 1st country to win a battle against the Japs) we were out numbered 10 to 1 and had to use hastily prepared conscripts with an average age of 18 since our frontline troops were in Europe and also kicking Rommel's arse in North Africa

Entries will no longer be taken as we have all of the people we need. Suggestions on how to get this started will now be taken.

We should start around 1939, and the first part should be centered around the political developments (the rise of militarism in Japan, the rise of fascism in Germany and Italy, the election of President Roosevelt, etc.) We won't have enough room for the intelligence aspect of it (e.g. Operation Foxley)... maybe we should set up another thread for that?

i do agree with pre decided weapons and weapon numbers as well as a rough number of men available so people cant claim that they had specail wizard tanks and some other wierd magic thingy that would make them invincible. I reckon that we should get some body who is ery fimilar with WW II hisotry to delegate weapons and numbers to each side and someone with a lota time on their hands to sort out who gets how much men.

Bismarck wasnt active at start of WWII nor Panzer3 and4 and Tiger and King Tiger start you'd be stuck with Panzer 1 and2 which were inferior to French tanks but Frances long borders ment she spread her tanks out so concentrated German forces diced them.

Czech acqusition is very important allows access to industry and Czech tanks which bolsted 2 Armoured Divs

Norway was invaded in 1940, they were defeated within a month or two. The biggest battle of the campaign was at Narvik.

You would be thinking of 1939. The German military was fearing a Polish invasion in 1938 when the debate came to whether they should invade Czechslovkia

Also the Panzer divisions would be a elite of the Germaian army relavily small elite so they can be in massive numbers as you said most of the Germany army was still used horse drawn stuff this was because of the hight quality and the amount of heavy tanks the germans had and it toke many hourse sometimes over 100,000 man hours to build one tank so there numbers could not be that great slaos the german economy was not capable to build such tanks in large numbers as Hitler did not want germany to be on a total war footing until it was too late in 1945 this was because Hitler did not want the sences of the first world war to repeat it self and might give rise to more oppistion to the nazi government like the Weimar republic government after the first world war the lack off food and the destroyed german economy and other reasons gave rise to more extreme parties such as the Nazis and the communists in germany

at the end of the fall of france would be a better year to start as japan and sthe pacific would be doing pratcilaly nothing expect fighting the war in china

7th are the real deal.
They held onto Tobruk with Poles.

leave it to me to give the armies their strengths and weaknesses. i am very good at history and will make sure it is acurate even if the war didn't end in 1945, for instance, both germany and GB would have more operational jets, in 1946 the US would have jets. so sould i do the army design. i am very familier withh WWII history and could do the job well.

at the spain hq in madrid el presidente was pondering his moves.... so far he had commanded.......................................... The spanish navys fleet delta (the smaller one) consisting of previously purchased ittaian vessesl are moving into postion near britain. The fleet consisitng of 4 Littorio class battleships and 3 Aquila class carriers filled with Reggiane Re 2001 airecraft, 8 Trento class crusiers, 6 "Turbine" class destroyers and 4 smg. Squalo submarines. A few ari craft were removed to make room for some anit air craft vehicles that were modified to make beach landings. the fleet was positioned just inside spanish waters and were given orders to be combat ready at all times.


The spanish ground forces were to form up around the spanish boarder and to take defensive poisitions around the spanish border.

The bulk of the Spanish armour was to be used to help in the defensive ut a small divison of about 30 Light Tank L6/40 were being refitted with superiour and light weponery and the tank crew eere being trained on how to use these vehicles in hit and run.

A further 20 M15/42 tanks were tken to be re modified to help back up the 15 P40. these 35 tanks were to be used as an elite division.

The Swiss request that the League of Nations does something to contain the threat in Germany, but it is painfully obvious that it is too little too late. The country prepares for war.

The spanish artillery divisions are now being deployed with in the frontlines. Jeeps were constasntly sent out in scouting missions along with air crafts to see if any thing came wihti range of the attilery. The german tank didviosn was monitered constantly for movement as were any other german or any allied forces near the spanish front lines.


The spanish Elite tank division mentioned earlier are now being increased as other nation allow spain to produce new tanks to replace the ones in the front lines which in turn allows spain to trian the freed up tanks in elite warfare. Un known to the germans the spanish had modified their ships to carry some anit air craft vehicle.... mainly flak traks. as the condors approached to rain death on the spanish the flak traksw werequickly brought out and placed on deck. unfortunately the attack managed to sink 2 of the spanish cruisers and damage one of the destoryers before the condor attack was beaten off. to replace the damaged ships 3 cruisers and 2 modified anti air destoyers were sent form the gamma fleet (the really small newly bulit one) these destroyers would be crucial to defend against any more bomber attacks. further more all anit ship vessesls were put on high alert and the reginas were send on caombat air patrols to ensure that the germans were not moving a fleet to intercept them and no allied fleet was coming to engage them.

Those men captured were not spanish commandos.... the knife may have been spanish made but just before the start of hostilities between britain and germany we shipped a large supply of those knives to the british commando units. As the spanish air craft intercepted the plane they did not shoot it down but instead forced it to land on a remote air feild off the coast. HEre the plane was stormed by spanish soldiers up on arrival and and was found packed with japanese commandoes. About 20 spanish soldiers died before one the spanish medium tanks opened fire and blew up all the men inside. spnaish solderies aand attack dogs were looking for any surviviors but there is high doubt nay one of them could have survived the s=attacks. Reports indidcate that these commandoes were targetting to disable spanish air forces and naval forces.


In response to the departure of the japanese sub fleet 10 new submarines that have been just produced have been dispatched to join with the triton fleet and 5 newly developed anti submarine destroyers as well as 2 anti air cruisers were dispatched to join with the triton fleet.

the attack began as the Japanese aircraft broke through the air portals with ease next as they approached the Spanish fleet in haboour the Torpedoes bombers went in low and fast as the dive bombers swooped down form above while the Fighters bombed local airfields and provide fighter cover for the attack

As the air battle was starting three Yamaoto Class Battleships approached the only mouth and exit to the harbor and opened up for the first time with 27 18inch guns at 25 degrees pounded the costal defense batteries up to 20 miles while the Battleships where pounding the battery’s destroyers ran up to the entrance and fired a round of there deadly long lance torpedoes into the harbor luckily the Spanish had anti torpedoes nest deployed which toped the torpedoes as they quickly turned and ran firing there rear guns towards the shore but they had not escaped unscathed with a destroyer being lightly damaged by guns on the shore as the air battle progressed the Spanish, Italian aircraft was not a match for the faster and more nimble Zeros in the harbor a 16inch bomb ( the one that blew up the USS Arizona in real life) hit one of the Lorrito Battleships going straight through its deck and blowing up the magazine causing a massive explosion which sent the ship to the bottom while another bomb had hit one of the carriers and ripping a gashing whole in the wooden flight deck

Thanks to the spansih air carft on patorl as well as the gun boats the spanish navy did have some fore warning of the attack. The AA cruisers as well as the AA destoryers quikly formed up and the anti air vehicles being carried carriers that were mentiond earlier were brought to deck. The opned fire as soon as the japanes forces began the attack. The spaanish fighters were easily out classed and were forced to attack in large groups and not try to take on tenemies one on one. the attack was finaly beaten off with many casulties. The enemy casulties are un known and the spnaish are hoping to intercept japanese trasmissions to know how many of the japanese fighters fell.

The spanish president asks the japnese empror to relase the spanish ammbasdor and embassy staff. in return the japanese troops atempting to fortify them sellves in the japanese embassy will web allowed to leave for japan. Since the fleet is now gathered near spanish land several shore batteries as well as some attiliery units have been deployed there to help prtect the spanish fleet. Many flak cannons and AA guns have constructed and manned to prevent another air attack that would so badly damage the fleet. torpedo nets and sonar bouys are being deploed all around the spanish fleet to warn them of any sub attacks and the damgaed or destroyed spanish air craft are being slowly repleced as ones from other fleets and newly produced ones come to replace them. In addition the damaged carrier has been recalled for reapirs and to compensate for its loss a small air feild has been built for faster more competant fighters that cant take off from carriers to dock. Constant patrolsa re being made by spanish gun boats and subs as well as the new ground based fighters from the air field.

The spanish ship factories are now concentrateing on pumping out as many ships as possile. all the newly prodcued ships gather at a pint till consists of minium 1 carrier 2 battle ships 5 crusiers 6 destoryers 2 aa crusiers 2 anti sub destoyers as well as 5 subs. once this abount is gathered it is sent to join wither the troton fleet or tha hidden alpha fleet in help boost numbers.

The elite light tank diviosn is still growing and there are now almost over 200 of them with 50 being the long range mortar class.

Ther whereabouts of the spansih alpha fleet (the largest spnaish fleet) is still unknonw to all but the president and his top aides).

it would have been massive ok i will use the torpedo bombers for example have 150 torpedo bombers the 50 gets shot down and thats a lot of aircraft already and i get off 100 torpedoes thats stilll 100 torpedoes in the water ok then say if 50 missies when is a lot torpedoes that means there still is 50 torpedoes which hit the ships it only takes about 3 torpedoes to sink a ship which is a lot already maybe 5 for the more amoured battle ships and lets say all 50 hit 5 each for one battle ship that means that 10 battleships whould have been hit

if you have 3 torpedoes for crusiers that would mean at least 16 ships hit with 3 torpedo hits each

and this doesnt count the bombers who would carry 1 500lb or 2 250 lb bombs and by the list i have 150 dive bombers lets say each bomber had 2 bombs each thats 300 bombs on the dive bombers all together and in real life the Japanese aircraft would have had excellent optics to bomb ships they would have had needed very good optics and bomb sights for there aircraft

and a few more last thigns in my evidence that you should have surffered a more casultites are your fleet consisted of 59 ships and say all my aricraft got there weapons off and exploded by caluclating the number of boms divied by the number of ships it could come to about 7 bombs/torpedoes for each ship

As the spanish air craft intercepted the plane they did not shoot it down but instead forced it to land on a remote air feild off the coast. As Japanese troops arrive british carribean islands and the Japanese 1st carrier strike fleet along with the submarine fleet arrive to take up there postions in the advace base which will be used to attack Spain and supplies coming from the Falkland islands, the panama cannel, or over from the south American nations but supplies will take time to reach them

Although the president knew fully well the terror of Soviet Russia, it was better to pretend that the reality did not exist for the time being.



Meanwhile, a joint session of Congress prepared to vote on the most major issue presented before them: whether to give President Roosevelt the power to assist America's fellow Allies in gaining their independence and assisting the Japanese people.

After every vote had been counted, the votes were added up: (Senate) 98-0; (House) 438-2. In a single day, the United States had gone from being a neutral nation worried about rising threats to the east and west to a nation on the front line. this was the first word said by a commander over the rasio as they crossed the border in thier Muas tank. the whole attack was filled with only this super heavy tank for logistic effieciency. all versions are included. snipers bullets just bounced of the maus's heavy armour, jut gving the maus the direction to fire in.
