It's basically a giant Sunburn Missile platform. It's defended by heavy anti missile systems and is usually covered by destroyers. If used properly it can fire over 120 Sunburn missiles. Unusually easy to hit and so requires lots of cover.

The Elite of the Parthian Army: Trained since childhood in a grueling program and used for combat, paratroops, and special-ops as well as bodyguards for the Shah, his family, Satraps, and wealthy nobles, The Immortals are the pride of the Imperial Army Corps. They are grouped in divisions of 25,000 Men in M2-A3 Bradley IFVs and have 300 M1-A2 tanks attached to their unit. The troops are armed with XM-8 rifles or heavy weapons. Maintained by competent crews and constantly prepared for battle, armored divisions are a powerful Parthian force on the battlefield. Each unit contains 2,000 M1-A2 MBTs, 150 MLRS, 100 M-109 Howitzers, 10 R-409 Heavy Tanks, 10 Patriot batteries, and support vehicles.

Helicopter/Parachute divisions-
Trained to drop into hostile zones in either helicopters or by parachute, the 5000 strong parachute divisions are capable of taking a city with only air support. They are armed with shorter barreled XM-8s and other infantry weapons.

All Four Invasion Fleets appeared off the Coast of Parthia, just sitting there, doing nothing. on The deck of The Flagship, a Neherenia Class Battleship named The Bloody Sword, Emperor Barbarossa is looking at the Parthian Coast, 300 Miles away from the Fleet.

With him were his sister, Chi-Shi-Nem, Old General Izu, and General Shi-Yu. All nations wishing to assist Parthia are granted permission to do so.

Along the Parthian coast and in the Hormuz fleet an alarm bell began to go off for the ships to prepare for battle. Parthian satellites detected the enemy fleet 300 miles off the coast of Parthia, well within missile range of the Hormuz fleet's tomahawks and the shore batteries. All along the coast 33 different tomahawk batteries calculated firing coordinates and targets before each launching five missiles at the enemy fleet. The tomahawks streaked out of the batteries and into the air with a lingering trail of smoke behind them.

In the fleet the Iowa class battleships and the Ticonderoga class crusiers each fired two missiles at the Hatarian navy. Within a few minutes 100 more missiles were headed towards the Hatarians.

The Hatarian Radar Picked up The Incoming Missiles and launched 5 T-1 Wolfbane Anti Missile Missile from each Destroyer at the tomahawks, 23 H-78 Missile Killer Missiles were launched at the enemy Missiles

Doom AFB, Doomingsland

Twenty Longsword bombers lift off, and light up the night sky with their afterburners as they head to the Hatarian fleet at mach 3. Each bomber is laden with eight LSLRM-AS-ER SCRAMjet missiles each. At a range of twelve hundred miles, the missiles are launched. They then accelerate to a velocity of mach six as the climb to an alititude of 100,000 feet. When over the Hatarian fleet, they dive down onto the decks of the enemy vessels, achieving a velocit of mach eight, using sheer kinetic energy to destroy them.

OOC:Now, before you go and say 'EMP missiles pwnz jo0!111', you must first realize that your missiles wouldn't be able to reach the missiles at their altitude, let alone outrun them. And when they dive down, the missile no longer requires any electronics to kill you, as they use sheer kinetic force.

I believe our Luftwaffe aircraft are over The Parthians now. So, where should they land, The Parthians?

5 C-130 Hercules carrying the 3rd and 9th Infrantry Divisions and the 14th Armor Division entered in the Parthians airspace requesting to land at a nearby Parthian airforce base.

We shall send the 1st corps of the 5th Marine army. THis numbers 100,000.

It will tkae a while to avoid and may get there after the combat. But they will be able to make the counter invasion.

for an entire army, its large but not excessive if you are militaristic. But for a division. Its a bit over the top. You are an august nation, so in the low hundreds of millions? If your forces are well equipped and supported your entire army should number maybe 300,000-600,000 maximum (bar you being a compulsory service military dicatatorship with a government that only spends on defence) , though that assumes a few tanks, good air and naval support etc.

Try sending 100000 men, if your army is elite and well equipped, or maybe 200000 if you have an extremely large one.

Plus 1 million men would be a bit expensive to use for an attack. That would be about 20000+ aircraft just for the men and personal possesions.

IC: Of the 265 missiles fired at the enemy fleet, all but 20 were knocked out by Hatarian anti-missiles. With the initial salvo pretty much broken, the Parthians fired 400 more tomahawks from shore batteries and the fleet at the enemies slowly moving towards Parthia.

Barbarossa looked at the enemy attack and knew it was time for part 2 of his Plan.

In The United Arab Emirates (Hatarian Territory), Part 2 of Barbarossa's Plan was starting, 500 B-52 Bombers and 200 MiG-28 Fighters landed in Dubayy, at the same time, every Cobrahawk-45 Curise Missile Launchers got ready to launch at Parthia when Barbarossa gave the order to do so.

From an altitude of 70,000 feet, and a range of 1,200 miles, each bomber launched eight LSLRM-ER SCRAMjet missiles at various targets, such as airfields, government buildings, and bases. A total of 240 missiles were launched, and they headed up to an altitude of 100,000 feet, reaching a cruising speed of mach six. When they arrived over their targets, they dove down, achiveing a velocity of mach eight. When hitting their targets, they would cause massive craters, and easily flatten their targets, and possibly buildings around them.

OOC:You might be able to intercept a very small amount, but that's if you concentrated all of your AA on those particular missiles. Post losses.

All but one division in Parthia have withdrawn and returned home. The High Command feels the threat from Hataria is minimal, and these men shall serve the purpose of grabbing land from the counter-invasion.

Tylinoa 3rd Infrantry Division and part of the 14th Royal Armor Division began to move towards the coast of Parthia, once they got there they would begin to dig trenches if the Hatarian Army were to invade by the coast. Every man in the division was nervous, they weren't sure if they would make it out alive. Still they marched on towards the coast. In 8 hours they would be at the coast, ready for an attack from the beaches.

You wake up, go out side pick up the newspaper and head back in. You go into the bathroom to take a dump and you hear a whistling noise from outiside. All of a sudden you feel a sharp stining feeling in the back of your head. You reach up to feel what it is but you cant seem to feel your arms. With your last moments of conciousness you look across the ruins to see the remains of your body laying in a heap next to you.

The 3rd Infrantry Division along with some of the 14th Tylinoa Royal Armor Divison finally arrived at the coast of Parthia. The troops began to dig trenches, lay down barbed wire, plant mines, and build tank obstacles on the beaches. The afternoon was now turning to night in Parthia, some troops fell asleep but most didn't. They were still awake because of nervousness and the fear of dying in battle if it were to come. The once beautiful beaches of Parthia were now covered with barbed wire, mines and tank obsatcles. The battle was to come soon.

The 50 B-52 Stratofortress bombers are above the capital. The bomber start dropping their payloads. A total of 750 1,000-pound bunker busters and 500 500-pounds bunker busters have been drop on government building and military base in the capital. The bombers turn back to Hell's Gate.

Corbox eyed the overhead viewscreen displaying the various missile trajectories and growled.

"Son of a... Stop those! Ingoing and outgoing, I want those things popped out of the air! Those nasties hit Hataria, the fallout's gonna hit us!"

The captain at one of the control panels turned and gave Corbox a hopeless gaze. "I'm not sure we're going to be able to reach the biochem warheads they sent out, sir. We might be able to get the nukes as they close in, but there's... just too many."

"Do what you can, captain."

"Aye aye, sir."

All across Godular, the missile disruptors went up and active, targeting the nuclear missiles and what biochem warheads they could. On the overhead screen, missile contacts slowly began to wink out of existence. No explosion, no fireworks, they just... poofed, leaving a small missile shaped distortion in space where the missile itself used to be.

"Contacts being warped now... but not quickly enough."

OOC: YOU didn't know it was me. My plane don't have any flag on them. If you have a spy in my nation, he would not know it, too. Because only Lord JWolf and the High Commanders are in the War Room, nobody can enter into. So, there are no bugs in there. So, this attack did not happen.

Sometime around dawn 24 hours after news of the attack upon Parthians was made known to The Crucible, the 4th Air Legion was on it's way to Parthian controlled territory, with orders to make itself available to the Parthian High Command.

At the same time near Mount Shadow, an underground runway opened. Orderlies took a little while clear the runway of the various debris that had collected there, since the previous launch of 'Death Cloud' bombers. But after a few hours of backbreaking work it was clear, and the huge bombers (OOC: Similar to the B-52) began roaring one at a time out of their hangars, 100 in total. In small groups smoking cigarettes in the cold alpine air, the guards reflected they wouldn't like to be around, when that lot unleashed their lethal cargo of high explosives and general purpose chemical bombs on Hataria... they almost felt sorry for them...

OOC: It's 100% impossible to lock a missile like an ICBM on a projective with a velocity as high as an ICBM. By the way, isn't your economy totally ruined by now...? Godular if you take down my missiles you're in for a big surprise.

Satellites picked up the Hatarian ICBM trajectory and started the defesine measures to protect Guffingford from the attack. From the orbital station the course and speed of the missiles was processed into a computer and an almost exact location and the particle beam weapons were loaded up and the first targets were picked from the incoming missiles... The cannon was loaded to the maximum and it had the capability of taking down about 30 of them.

On another satellite one EMP missile was fired to meet with the remaining missiles and put them out of function. The blast radius of the EMP was big enough to take down 40 ICBM's. On mainland Guffingford four hundred graphite were launched to take down the missiles who had the small chance of breaking through all defences.

The 3rd Marine Division (15,000 Marines) has been added to Parthia to suppliment the troops there that were aiding in the previous rebellion. With them arrives the 8th Air Force (200 F-23 Knights). The Marines were sent to strengthen the Tylonian beach defenses. Half the Furies landed behind the beach defenders so that they could strafe any invading force. The Cymry Brigade remained in the capital on high alert, ready to be flown anywhere in the country, as did the Gweneddi Legion.

If you shut down your missiles, we will be fully willing to present you with an alternative technology that is just as effective, without the annoying fallout. This alternative is cheaper and much easier to maintain than your current arsenal, and having orbital satellites, you are of sufficient capability to utilize it.

Like we have stated, you may be using those missiles to punish Hataria for its actions, but you would be unduly punishing us for just being too damn close at the same time. We will not stand idly by and get struck by the aftermath of your hasty decisions.

Had you but asked, we would have easily agreed to act as a staging point for any invasion upon their soil, and as a matter of fact are within bombardment range of a good portion of their landmass. Hell, we would have allowed you the use of our rail-guns, too.

75 B-1 bombers and 500 F-16s crossed over the Persian gulf towards Hatarian UAE. In front 10 E-6s fired HARM missiles at the Hatarian RADAR while the F-16s searched for Hatarian aircraft.

Across the gulf, long range 800mm artillery guns began to open fire, and in the Parthian bit of Arabia (Oman owns a small peninsula on the tip of the UAE called the Mussandam, which I own) more artillery guns opened fire as the 3 Marines divisions dug in to their defensive lines.

Meanwhile on the Parthian Coast:

The troops were watching missle after missle fly by them, one of Hataria's missle nearly hit the beach front. "What the hell is going on captain" private Micheal Roberts asked? "I am not sure Roberts, they have been doing this back and forth since the time we landed in Parthia." Captain Joel Norton replied. "Then what are we still doing here?" Roberts asked demanding an answer. "Parthia is an ally of ours in SEATO, if Hataria were to invade by land we would be here to stop them, now get back to your post." Norton replied with a stern look. The private walked away, cigarette in mouth. It was reaching the 3rd week since the Divison had landed at the beach to protect Parthia's border.The men were becoming home sick, and as every day passed more and more became tired and lonely. In their spare time the soldiers would play cards or write letters to their families hoping one day that they return home.

The Bombers were loaded with smart-bunker-busting bombs, as well as "dumb" bombs for carpet bombings. The planes are expected to reach Hatarian Territory in three hours.

OOC: Hataria, You can, i repeat, can take down up to 1,200 airplanes(maybe even more if you RP your defence well enough. Up to 2,000 id say).

Tylinoa's 9th Infrantry Division and the rest of the 14th Tylinoa Royal Armor Division was to be stationed at the capital city, they had it easy compared to the Tylinoa's 3rd Infrantry Division known as the "Backbone" Division. They were always the first ones in any battle. Still the 9th Infrantry and the rest of the 14th Royal Armor Divisions still had an important job and that was to protect the Parthian Capital.

The Lightning Starian fighters were nearly at Hataria. The Bombers had already begun bombing Dubai and other cities, but the main fighter group hadn't reached the land yet. All of a sudden, planes started exploding. "Sir, i got nothing on radar!" said a fighter to his wing leader. "DAMN! Wait a second...look below! Sivik Jets! Alright men, down down down!" The Lightning Starian pilots, some of the best in the world, engaged in battle with the Sivik Jets. Since they had the element of surprise, the Siviks had already managed to take down 247 jets but the lightning starians fought back. The skies turned into a massive area of explosions and death. Rockets and bullets flew through the air and fighters flew left and right. No one could tell who was winning, all they could tell was that both sides seemed to be evenly matched. The Hatarian Pilots, while not as good as the Lightning Starians, had the advantage of not being on radar andhaving struck first, although since they were stealth their hulls were a bit weaker. The Lightning Starians, being larger and stronger, were unfortunatly slower and less agile, plus they appeared on Radar. Eventually, the Lightning Starian Aeigis Cruisers began firing on the Hatarian Fighters so that the Lightning Starian fighters could fall back and take a different route.

Casualties: 1,742 Fighter jets.
Enemy casualties: unknown

OOC: That was baisically a stalemate, so your casualties should be somewhere in the region of 1,000-1,300.

A few hours later after the launch of the 'Death Cloud' Bombers the huge dark winged planes crossed the Hatarian border.

Aerial Strike Commander Korlat yawned in the gloom of the cockpit of the Strike Commander's Bomber. 'Why oh why do we have to do this, Ganoes? I mean, I'm sure there's enough in the 4th Air Legion to stop most armies in their proverbial tracks...'

'Yes, I know how you feel Korlat, but you know Guild orders. Besides you know damn well the Crucible has been itching for a fight for years now, besides those rumoured Shadow Brigade deployments and the African Crisis they haven't had much to do... poor Lina Dragonis is bored, I reckon...' he replied with a wide grin oh his face.

Another hour went by before the high altitude bombers were in their respective runs in the area of Hataria nearest to Parthia after having peeled off just after the Hatarian border, Korlat heard the codeword from The Crucible given in her ear 'Blade'. She switched on the communications net, 'Blade' she repeated, before switching it back off.

She watched the final approach of her group of some 3 bombers, towards their target; a large supply dump, which had indentified by The Talon. She prepared herself to unleash the fury of the Guilds upon Hataria.

Meanwhile in Parthia, the 4th Air Legion had landed with 'Doomsday' Heavy Transports shuttling in personnel and supplies, on the airfields allocated to them by the Parthian's. Many of the troops and staff were settling into the new accomodation and preparing it for the coming action.

OOC: I'm assuming Parthia would have given permission had he given the time to respond to all the posts. So sorry if it sounds like a godmod, it is not intended to be more a 'saving Parthia time' style of post.

Now you're the one making things complicated. There are many ways of being able to tell where a plane is from, including the technology it is using and the pilot himself. Just because the planes don't have flags doesn't mean that you can't tell where it came from.

Personally, I wouldn't accept the bio attack on you, but you're making it extremely difficult to RP with you.

You do realize that A-10's are not suited for air to air combat and due to their size, subsonic speeds, and lack of anti-air weapons besides an anti-tank gun, would not last long at all against any type of fighter jet.

We have took out all of the Hatatria Invasion Fleet but three naval ship will our bombers. Bombed their coastline to Hell. Bombed their army bases, air bases, and missile silos in Southern Hatatria. Bombed Hataria's capital and the city of Abu Dhabi to try and kill the Emperor of Hatatria. They will fall. Don't know when but they will fall.

IC: 30 Tank Divisions, with 200 CT-2004 Battle Tanks in each, head for the Front. At the same Time The B-52 Arm Their Bombs.

The 750 F-22s and 1200 F-16s moved in to engage the B-52s. The F-22s closed in and opened fire with a total of 1500 sidewinder missiles. Following them, the F-16s closed in and released one sidewinder each before firing their 30mm guns at the B-52s.

The bombers made it threw Southern Hataria (I know they do because my second attack with the 200 bombers took out all or most of the air defenses.) and enter Northern Hataria a few mins later.

The 90 B-52 Stratofortress bombers, that are loaded with 20 MK79 1000lb Napalm bombs each, attack army bases and air bases in Northern Hataria. A total of 1,800 MK79 1,000lb Napalm bombs have been dropped (1.8 million pounds of Napalm have been drop).
