Operation: First Strike, Invasion of Psov

Official Imperial Statement

As the Empire has good reason to believe that the nation of Psov is planning on a massive full scale invasion of Imperial Generia, Emperor Antonius I has seen reason to initiate a pre-emptive strike on the nation. This is to be considered a formal declaration of war from Generia. The Fifth through Seventh Imperial Battlegroups, operating in the Black Sea, are currently en route to Psov to initiate the assault.

The GIF-101s streaked over the dead calm of the midnight Black Sea. Below, the fleets glided over the dark waters, silent as the night that surrounded them. The Imperial legions waited aboard the transports.

Made up of remnants of Alexius’s rogue Praetorian army, now loyal to Emperor Antonius, the men were all veterans of the great battle of the River Sloboza. Skilled with XM-8 and saber alike, they were the perfect killing machine, capable of dueling with God and Sentinel. Today they would strike to save the Empire from destruction. There were 500,000 of them, combat ready. Logistics forces made up the rest of the host. More would be on the way.

In the Shoobooshaban jungles, the silo doors slid open. Deep in an underground military facility, a shadowy figure spoke to a man dressed in a white suit.

“So, we arm ourselves for the coming storm.”

“Indeed. As always, we shall be ready to reciprocate MAD. That is, if it comes to that.”

“Pray that it shall not be necessary.”

“I have great faith in our legions, but preparation is always necessary.”

“That is the truth.”

The fleets neared the coast. With luck, they would catch the nation who wished them destruction off-guard. Transport aircraft cruised over the Psovian shores, over the hills and towns that dotted the landscape below. The lights inside of the aircraft went red, and the alarms sounded. Paratroopers poured out into the skies, Praetorians all, ordered to act autonomously in their disruption of the Psovian supply lines, to facilitate a mass landing.

Th 2nd, 3rd, and 4th fleets made their way toward Psov, as well as the 1st-5th Amphibious Assualt groups. Aboard the transports were the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Marines, as well as the 1st Armor. After a beachead is secured, more reinforcements would be sent...

The Congressional Republic of Psov denies any Knowledge of " a massive full scale invasion," The Republic Demands that Generia States it's source. Psovian Forces have been mobilized for war, Psov also activates the Mutual Protection Treaty asking that the Communist International Members come to my aid.

Official Imperial Statement

The Imperial government was given a tip about an impending invasion. In order to protect the anonymity of said party, the name of the nation shall not be revealed.

Alarms sounded throughout Krakilopiograd, civillians hurried about the city running home before enemies arrived. Further south enemy troops were already landing, congress had deployed the nations defence forces in the southern city of Muntz though it was expected they alone could not hold long. An obvious air of panic filled the air as Psovian Troops rushed by the Senate manning AA and AT guns. Fear filled the Psovian People's hearts, they had heard of this monster, his troops fought without dignity, they looted, and raped, and murdered, with no regard for human life. And now they came into their nation based on unfounded accusations. Psov's fate now lay in the hands of a small and unprepared military.

In our current condition I can only send humanitarian help to Imperial Generia if this conflict takes bigger proportions, I can’t on the other hand believe that Psov would invade Imperial Generia and request more proof.

I'll throw my weight into this too, just to gain some expirence. Generic empire, I propose an alliance for this matter. Inkanan forces are being mobilized. Being that my population has expanded greatly since my last expanding of the Army, Psov will be the training ground of over a million new recruits.

We find it hard to believe also that Psov was considering invading Generia. Generia has 24 hours to withdraw it and all its' allies forces from Psov or a state of war will exist between our nations.

The Rosian High Command received the signal. An ally was being attacked by a coalition fleet. Luckily they had the advantage of being in the same region. Of course, they would not send men, instead they would send fleets, 10 fleets in fact. They would aid in the sea defense of Psov.

It is trusted that Hallad, being right at the border of Psov, would aid in the ground defense. The Rosians were scared, an invasion in their own region. But they would defend their ally. And so, 10 Fleets leaving from various Rosian ports left towards Psov, to arrive in 3 Hours...

An Admiral, name is Vash Tilosen, was heading the defense fleet. He was looking towards the sea.

"My." He said. "Our first real war. At least we have the advantage..."

A communique was sent throughout The New Roman Empire.

Psov attacked. Requesting Roman Quick Reaction Force. Hallad is to
defend the ground, Rosian is suppose to defend sea. Need response.

It was sent through the super secret message thing of The New Roman Empire...

Is it wise to use this conflict as a training ground, you could end up paying a big price.

The Psovian Volunteer Corps in Muntz lay in waiting, reports of massive enemy paradrops to the south had reached head quarters and they had been called to the defence of the city only hours ago. However there was great uncertainty in the military as to why they were engaging enemy troops. The Military had not been activated since the war with helvitia, and there had been no Mobilization, they were not ready for war.

Drums Beat for War

The troopers hit the ground, their parachutes silently touching down. The men met up with their squads, and went to work. The soldiers moved towards the anti-aircraft defenses specified by satellite imaging systems. Imperial Intelligence had not been lazy in their duties.

Captain Ivan Greghov moced quickly, securing his squad of twenty five men, and heading for the nearest SAM installation. The installation was in chaos, caught off guard by the sudden and direct assault.

Rifle fire split the air. The Psovians reacted, cutting down three of Greghov's men.

"There! Flank them!"

The squad split, moving around the rear of the installation. The men converged, guns blazing, on the outpost. Captain Greghov moved towards the SAM. As his men covered him, he placed the charge.

"Move!"

The men scrambled, leaving the enemy to the explosive surprise. The cloud of flame and ripped through the night, as the Imperials moved on to their next target.

Throughout the countryside, the small squads went to work, bombing bridges and defenses, while in the distance, the Imperial fleets drew near.

While the first Presidential Address will remain in effect, Grenval will delay any rushed actions in the interest of peace. Two naval armaments have been dispatched to the area to observe only. Further action shall be taken as developments arise.

Psov is greatly apreciative of the quick response from TIOR, since it is known by Psov that TIOR is reluctant to become embroiled in conflicts.

The fleets closed on the foreign shore. Alarms sounded in the cool air as the GIF-101s rocketed into the gathering dawn. The Praetorians scrambled into the landing craft, as pillars of flame shot into the sky on the beach.

The GIF-101s pounded the shore defenses with incendiary and guided munitions, as the landing craft cruised towards the beach. Amid the chaos, the first wave of Praetorians rushed onto the sand, making the charge for the bombed fortifications.

The 10 Fleets arrived at Psov, the battle was already starting. The carriers were amid with activity, RB-1s and RF-1s took off from the Carriers. In squads of three, two RF-1s one RB-1, would bomb any enemy ship. As the Praetonian Enemy landed on the beach, the Iowa Class Battleships aimed their guns at the landing ships and soldiers. God knows what would happen now.

Meanwhile, the planes now started to bomb any heavy Enemy ship they could find, they had to delay the invasion. A few submarines also joined the fun, as they aimed their guns at the ships, damn war.

((OOC: An RF-1 is just a F-15E renamed, the RB-1 is just an F-18 renamed. I didn't say damage so, have fun. And if you can believe it, this is my first major war :P))

I wish to land a C-130H with humanitarian aid as a precaution in one of the conflict areas of Generia, it will be escorted by 2 F-16 Fighter Jets considering the current hostile situation.

15 Imperial Class battleships prepared to move. They would lead the navy. The naval ships that were being sent were the battleships, 3 carriers, 15 destroyers, 13 frigates, 12 subs(3 nuclear), 16 cruisers and tons of amphibious assualt ships. The carriers loaded their cargo, each carrying 23
F-22A Raptors, 20 F-35 Joint Strike Fighters, 26 F-18C Hornets, 15 Longsword Bombers, 5 Huey Helicopters, 2 Chinook helicopters and 3 Apache helicopters. The troops also made themselves ready. 30, 000 marines, 100 000 army infantry, and 1000 special forces troops were being sent. The armor that would be sent consisted of 23 Scorpian tanks, 14 "King Abrahams", 23 APCs(Generic Empire model), and 15 hummers. 3 hours later the ships left. It would take about 2 days to reach it's destination.

The armada of ships drew near to the Psovian coast. The Marines began boarding their EFVs, and tanks began to roll onto the LCACs. JSFs took off from the 4 aircraft carriers, and 20 amphibious carriers. A total of 300 F35s, and 120 F14ds were launched. The F35s flew toward the coast, droping fuel air bombs, and CBUs on enemy instalations, while the F14s provided air cover.

Meanwhile, the amphibious craft neared the shore. This was the first wave. A total of 120 M1A5 King Abrams, 300 LAV-25s, 200 LAV-ADs, and 800 EFVs headed toward the shore, the Kings loaded onto LCACs, while the rest waded toward shore. Along with them came 20,000 Marines. They would attempt to secure a beachead so more troops could be put ashore.

The Invincible Empire of Roach-Busters will do everything in its power to aid Generic empire. (Please give me a minute while I find my list of weapons, vehicles, etc.)

As the Enemies Advanced The Psovian troops pressed harder and harder towards the ground, they hadn't much time for digging in and had done what they could, The enemies cried out furiously as they charged towards the shore, The soldiers heard their commander shout with a furious air, Fire!
His order was carried out with great efficiency, their moral was bossted for a few seconds, that is until the enemy actually fired back. To the left and the right the Psovian Coastal batteries relentlessly fired at the Ships off shore, causing a thick cloud of Smoke to rise and settle in the air above the fight. Over the roar of planes, the pounding of Artillery, and the cries of the wounded, the Soldiers could hear the steady march of steel plated boots, the Guard had arrived. There was Hope.

The Empire is hereby demanding a full surrender from the Psovian armed forces and Congressional government. Psov will be allowed to declare terms, and no more blood will need to be shed. Emperor Antonius sincerely hopes that the Psovian government shall consider this.

The Psovian Congress cannot see why it should surrender to it's aggressor so easily. It is determined to fight for a victory, to the last Psovian.

Generic Empire must withdraw immediately. We cannot allow them to pursue such acts against Psov. We have begun mobilising Northern Fleet asets located in Ireland to this end.

Then so be it. Strike fighters from the Black Sea Air Base at Politova jet through the sky, they then refuel from tankers in the middle of the black sea. As they sight the Psov coast, they head into a strike V formation, a small oil refinery is sighted, then promptly bombed. Striking of Psov will continue until further directions to stop. Meanwhile the 1st parainfantry division with 10,000 paratroopers are air dropped near Generic forces, joining them in the fight against Psovians. The 1st Army will be landing soon.

The Psovian Defence Corps Split into Columns and began a steady advance towards their dug in Comrades. As they did the Congressional Colors rose from the trench ahead, the order to charge, all 200 Psovian Soldiers sprinted across the battlefield stopping only to jump over the trench, then engaging their enemy head on, guns blazing and bayonets flashing, meanwhile Artillery pounded the incoming transports and enemy ships.

With that, 16 Oliver Hazzard Perry frigates, 8 Arleigh Burke and Ticonderoga cruisers, 20 Seawolf submarines, and 60 F35s opened fire, the surface vessles launching Harpoon ASMs, while the subs launched Mk48 ADCAP torpedoes, and the fighters launched Deadfish ASMs.

GIF-77s approached the Iowas, releasing their ordinance ont he ships. towering clouds of fire gave way to pillars smoke that mingled with the rest in the skies above the raging battle.

On the shore, the battle hardened, bloodthirsty Praetorians continued their relentless charge. Captain Isadore Kreschev mounted the ridge, and seeing the startled soldiers pressed against the ground, opened up with his XM-8. The bullets dug into flesh and dirt, and he advanced towards the fortification. His Praetorians followed.

The group charged into a small stone fortification, liquidating the resistence inside. Several Praetorians joined the dead on the stone floor, as the nemy recuperated. Captain Krechnev dived behind an upturned table, and fired over the top. The enemy fell, and his men secured the structure.

Overhead, more GIF-101s soared inland, to assault the approaching enemy guard untis.

All Psovian Men Ages 17 through 30 are hereby ordered to report to the nearest dispatch, to join up with the armed forces in the defence of the Nation. Those who do not will be shot.

750,000 Army men and 500,000 Marines will be deployed to Psov to aid our ally, Generic empire. 100,000 Army men will be armed with teh Arcus 94 9mm; 100,000 will be armed with the Steyr-Manlicher SSG-P1 .308; 100,000 will be armed with the TM-93A tactical assault weapon; 100,000 Army men will be armed with the Steyr-Aug assault rifle; finally, the rese of them will be armed with the Desert Eagle .50 Magnum pistol. At the foolhardy psovian charge, the praetorian elite soldiers drew saber, and hacked through the horde of enemies. Gunfire mingled with the clash of steel as soldiers fell on either side.

As two Iowa class ships were immediately sunk, another three were crippled. But not out of the fight. They aimed their guns at the invading Generians. They will not allow an ally to lose so easily.

Meanwhile, 30 RF-1s broke off from the RB-1s, now some of the bombers were escortless. The RF-1s targeted the GIF-101s with their sidewinders.

"And... got you!" A pilot said as he launched his sidewinder, it flew as a rocket, but God knows if it would hit or not.

Three RB-1s were sent to the shore. They were armed with two 500 pounders. They released their bombs on the hapless Praetonians on the beach. They would cause some chaos at least....

the Purple Berets, Inkanas formost Elite unit, has landed at the 1st army's beachead they are advancing on Psovian men along with Generic Soldiers.

The yellow above the red is Psov. I am orange Island and the orange thing next to the Island is mine. I don't know what the orange thing next to Psov is though. The red is Hallad. The purplish thing next to Psov is a company I bought ICly. So he's a challenge to get once you go inland ;) ))

A lone Sierra-III submarine set out from the Kilkee Naval facility in Country Clare. It passed west of Ireland, and then waited in the frigid waters 200 miles off the west coast of France as a one merchantman chugged slowly towards it. The submarine surfaced slowly and waited as the choppy seas splashed over her rounded hull.

The merchant ship drew nearer, her battered, rusty side coming along the comparatively diminutive submarine's. Her crew, however, were neither rusty nor battered. As the merchantman halted, the concealed lateral thruster props in her bow kept her neatly in place while a crane reached into her belly and hauled out a long, slim SS-N-21 land attack missile, then two, then three. Four missiles were loaded onto the submarine, which then dived and proceeded away as though nothing had happened.

The crewmen reflected on the insane risk they had just run. As they went about their duty, some of them noticed lettering stencilled on the sides of the still wet Sampsons: PV-212.

As two Iowa class ships were immediately sunk, another three were crippled. But not out of the fight. They aimed their guns at the invading Generians. They will not allow an ally to lose so easily.

Meanwhile, 30 RF-1s broke off from the RB-1s, now some of the bombers were escortless. The RF-1s targeted the GIF-101s with their sidewinders.

"And... got you!" A pilot said as he launched his sidewinder, it flew as a rocket, but God knows if it would hit or not.

Three RB-1s were sent to the shore. They were armed with two 500 pounders. They released their bombs on the hapless Praetonians on the beach. They would cause some chaos at least....

With that, 16 Oliver Hazzard Perry frigates, 8 Arleigh Burke and Ticonderoga cruisers, 20 Seawolf submarines, and 60 F35s opened fire, the surface vessles launching Harpoon ASMs, while the subs launched Mk48 ADCAP torpedoes, and the fighters launched Deadfish ASMs.

20 RB-1s and 40 RF-1s took off from various Carriers. They were to bomb any heavy ships. The Escorts meanwhile were to fend off any submarines. Of course, God knows if it's possible.

Meanwhile, Iowa Class Battleships began to bombard the Cruisers...

It would be damn near impossible for the jets and helicopters to detect anything; already, the battle had commenced, and enormous, thick fumes of smoke engulfed the air.
Left and right massive explosions shook the earth tumultuously, as severed limbs and bloody organs splattered everywhere, bullets whizzed back and forth, rockets soared, and bombs detonated. Everywhere, there was death, destruction, and pandemonium.
Inside the RB battleships, the troops loaded their weapons and braced themselves, for they expected to be bombarded by a vicious onslaught the split second they arrived on the beach...

Another three Iowa Battleships were sunk from the attack, one was in flames. Screaming can be heard if you were close enough, it was a living hell inside the sea. It was a Pearl Harbor you could say.

The Admiral smiled, they were winning somehow. He picked up his radio.

"This is the Admiral to the Defense Fleets. Aim your guns at the Frigates, I repeat, aim your guns at the Frigates. They might have supplies. Bombers, go towards the transport craft."

Some of the pilots nodded, as they could see him anyway. The RB-1s, unescorted, headed towards the transport as the Cruisers and Battleships aimed their large barrels at the Frigates, they needed to defend them until supplies arrived...

The Artican fleet aproached the shores of Psov. The flagship, IAS Nerevar, sat in the middle of the ships. Commander Logan was in charge of the artican invasion force. He was sitting in the bridge of the battleship observing the various battles through radar. He noticed a nice beachead not far from the one Doomingsland had landed on. He patted the shoulder of the communications officer and nodded to him. He officer then opened a channel to all the fleet and said "Black Bishop to Black Rook, authorization to fire. Concentrate all fire on the enemy forces on the beachead. Sending co-ordinates now." 35 secondes later, the ships started firing at the beach. 3 Longsword bombers took off and started doing bombing runs of the beach while the marines started to ship out in the AASs. 30 of them started heading towards the beach, each carrying 10 marines. The first wave landed on the beach and started running for cover. Most of them had M4A1 Assualt Rifles whith M203 Frag Grenade Launchers, or M16A2 Assualt Rifles with M203 Frag Grenade Launchers. They opened up on the enemy with deadly accuracy. The second wave prepared to disembark. Another 30 AAS carrying 10 marines each headed for the beach.

On the beach, The praetorians managed a breakthrough, driving forward towards the ridge, alongside the Doomingsland legionairres. The army crested the ridge as the second wave hit the beach. With guns blazing, the Praetorians engaged the Psovian guardsmen. With luck, they would break the army here, and manage an inward drive, forcing an early Psovian surrender. Then, and only then could the war end.

The Roach-Busterian ships reached the shore with no problems. It seemed the allied and enemy troops were so busy focusing their wrath on each other, splitting each others' heads open, pumping their guts full of lead, blowing their brains out, etc. The instant the soldiers disembarked, they were greeted by the sharp and pungeant odors of gunpowder and dead bodies. They rushed into the fray to aid their Generian and Doomingslandian (sp?) allies.

The shells began to come down on the ships, causing three Oliver Hazzard Perries to capsize, putting an Arliegh Burke out of action, and damaging two Ticonderogas.

Meawhile, the F35s began to near their targets, flying low to the water to avoid detection(as if they needed to, since they're already stealth), and launched their missiles at the enemy carriers and battleships. At the same time, the subs began to launch their torpedoes. The pilots watched as their missiles, streaked toward the enemy vessles, and were surpirsed when anti-ship missiles from their own ships flew right past them toward the enemy fleet.

The Imperial Government is, and always has been willing to accept a diplomatic course of action.

The GIF-101s turned, streaking towards the unescorted RB-1s. AAMRAAMS rocketed towards the bombers. When contact was made, the aircraft would be engulfed in balls of fire. It was a beautiful sight tot he Imperial fighter pilots.

20 RB-1s were destroyed. Some of them crashed and some them just died on the spot. Others were able to avoid the AMMRAAMS but they were just lucky. The RB-1s continued on their bombing spree of the transports. They had to take out as many as they could.

Meanwhile, another 10 RF-1s took off from random carriers, they were to engage the Generian fighters of course...

And of course, the Iowa Battleships continued their bombardment of the frigates, their mission was to delay the enemy until reinforcements arrived, it had to be soon...

OOC:Ok, Psov is offline and I don't want to wait so I'm saying I have the beachead.

IC: The rest of the troops landed, followed by the armor, artillery and supplies. The naval ships(with the exeption of one carrier) went to help in the sea battle between Doomingsland and TIOR.

Sandbags were set up everywhere, artillery guns and AA guns were set up in strategic spots, medical tents were set up as well as normal tents for the troops and a small airbase was under construction.

IC: IN Muntz word had reached the populous that Enemy Forces had broken through their defensive lines. In the city only the Third Defence Corps and some million frightened citizens waited for the Enemy, Hopefully Reinforcement from Krakilopiograd would be arriving soon. In the distance it was clear that Generia and her allies were being given an easy landing. The Coastal Batteries had been bashed by coastal bombardment, not without doing damage though, and the Defence Corps had been eradicated. They would have to wait for the enemy to enter the city, then pick them off, and wait for troops from the capitol.

Psov would be willing for diplomatic talks to take place, however, their demands for Generia might be considered impossible, and therefore believes it would be futile, and only add to already fierce fighting.

Inkana is Turkey, and it has a colony on Africa's West Coast, just so you know.

OOC: if Generia is in the middle of a huge civil war how were they able to strike so quickly, efficiantly,with such great discipline, and in such great numbers?

IC: Negotiations does not mean a guarentee an end to fighting. If Psov is not satisfied with Generias offers then fighting will recommence.

IDF flagship, USS OZZIE GUILLEN

"I want this fleet turned on a bearing of 254. Take us north," ordered the Admiral, with the TIOR request in his hand.

"Get planes up NOW!" ordered Admiral Joseph. In about 45 minutes, The IDF Naval Air Force had 1,050 of their stealthed F-35Cs in the air. The 1st to take off refueled from S-3s and Israeli land based KC-767s. IDF E-3s, RC-767s, and satelites along with TIOR intel pinpointed enemy fleet positions.

The fighters went North armed with AAMs and ASMs. They were counting on facing a smaller, damaged force with heavy air losses and ship losses.

While the ceasfire had been declared, the artilery began to calculate targets within the the city. If no peace agreement was made, the artilery would raze the city to the ground.

Meanwhile onboard the UCDS Dominant] The admiral was checking the status of the fleet which was currently in route to Greece. The fleet was massive. Dozens of battleships, carriers, destroyers, and subs made up the fleet. The Death Legion as it had came to be called was the most elite of the fleets and most advanced. Suddenly the comm reported a message

A third wave hit the beach to unload the Imperial armored divisions. The tanks roared off to join the legions that had begun the move inland.

The paratroopers had done their job well. The unprepared enemy had been struck with speed and precision. Supply lines had been cut, and inland defenses were disabled. The path for the Imperial army was clear. Now all they had to do was wait.

The Celackian fleet moved quickly through the ocean to the northern shore of Psov. Thier weapons were primed. On board of each of the 12 carriers, fighters and bombers were being readied to launch. On board the troop transports, the infantry units cleaned their guns, the armoured regiments cleaned their tanks, the engineers checked their explsoives, and the medics checked their guns. On board of the warships, the sonar operators we watching with keep interest, the helm was driving fast and the captain was sweating. The communications officer was desperatly trying to reach the TIOR fleet to assure them that reinforcements were on their way and that if tehy could hold out for one more hour the Celackian fleet would destroy the enemy.

Dozens of battleships, carriers, destroyers, and subs made up the fleet. The Death Legion as it had came to be called was the most elite of the fleets and most advanced. Suddenly the comm reported a message

On the Inkanan beachead the Armoured forces started pouring in. First 8 Lepord II divisions, then the 1st motorized division. Now we wait for Psovian response.

The shells began to come down on the ships, causing three Oliver Hazzard Perries to capsize, putting an Arliegh Burke out of action, and damaging two Ticonderogas.

Both Iowa Class ships of the Fleet were destroyed. Three United States Class were also sunk and one was on fire. Two Chicago Class Escort Ships were also destroyed from the missles and three caught on fire due to the submarines. Now their numbers were lowered.

But, they did not fire at the planes. 10 more RB-1s headed towards the ships, joining up with the others of course.

Mean while, 2 P-7s were sent submarine hunting...

The Celackain government had just broadcast the fleet with the message that there were talks for a ceasefire but they had stalled. Use of force was at the admiral's discression. The artican fleet moved closer to the naval battle and saw the IDF planes fly overhead and fire at the Doomingsland ships. 2 cruise missiles were launched at each of the aircraft and one of the two would hit it's target. But just in case, 10 F-18C Hornets took off from a carrier and started pursuing the enemy fighters.

As the IDF fighters and bombers neared the Doomingsland fleet, the IDF missile ships opened fire.

8 Cherokee class ships fired a total of 3,200 TASMs at the enemy fleet from a range of 450 miles.

4 Imperators added an additional 1,200 of the deadly anti-ship variant of the beloved Tomahawks.

"It is a beautiful sight," commented a young Ensign at the site of missiles.

The 20 RHB-1s arrived at the scene. They began to get into their bombing formation. They targeted the Divisions that were about to attack the City. This would greatly relieve the Psovians. The bombed bay doors opened. The bombs dropped, all of them 1,000 pounders. They whistled through the air and God knows how much damage there would be, but there would be alot of them, alot of them...

250 of the planes broke from main formation firing their 4 Harpoon ASMs each (5% will fail automatically due to technical problems.) Many of the planes were blotted from the sky and in the end, only 675 of the intended 1,000 missiles headed for targets. The 250 planes were down to 145. They quickly went to AA mode and started lighting up targets on radar and firing AMRAAMs or ASRAAMs at the targets. With 145 vs. 10 planes the battle should've been easy for the better stealthed F-35s. 15 fell to the Hornets, but every Hornet was engaged by at least 10 missiles.

The other 800 F-35s continued for the main target. 350 of them were downed, but from those 350 planes that were downed came 950 Harpoons launched before their pilots were shot down. 125 of the pilots ejected.

400 of the Northbound survivors fired all 4 of their missiles and turned back South with AAMs still. 50 of them were fully armed and prepared to fire at the IA fleet.

As IDF had refused to accept the declared cease-fire, the Imperial fleets responded, launching 11oo of their own Tomahawk missiles at the enemy fleet. Countermeasures rocketed intot he sky to intercept the incoming Israeli ordinance. GIF-77s rerouted to make contact with the enemy ships.

The main ship, the CRS Rosingrad, was busy with activity, especially on the bridge. The men were hugging each other, support has come.

"Admiral!" A sailor shouted. "IDF forces are helping us!"

"Bombers are to help IDF Forces repel. Send 5 RB-1s and 10 RF-1s towards the fleet attacking IDF Forces. Go!"

The planes then started arriving at the offending Generian Fleet...

The mass of Celackian aircraft reached the enemy fleet in time to see the ineffectiveness of the IDF assualt. They decided to show them how well Celackian equipment worked. The fighters dived and launched missiles and enemy ships left and right while the bombers, well, dropped bombs, Several 1000 pound bombs fell. A couple fighters were hit by accident and were destroyed instantaiously. After the bombing run, the planes turned to leave the engament area before being shot down.

120 F14s vectored in on the incoming planes, and at 200 miles, launched 2 AXRAAM missiles each, all targetting a seperate aircraft. If the missile missed, its vectored thrust system would allow it to turn around and try again until it ran out of fuel.

"Vampire! Vampire! Multiple vampires incoming!" shouted a radar operater as the missile defence systems came online. The sea sparows began to light up and fire at the incoming missiles, destroying a good amount, those that got through were fired on by the Plalanx systems, nontheless, several missiles got through, sinking a Ticonderoga, two Oliver Hazzard Perries, and heavily damaging an Arleigh Burke. The missiles continued to streak toward the ships, and the missiles defences continued to fire. The final losses were 3 Oliver Hazzard Perries and a Ticonderoga sunk, two Ticonderogas, an Arliegh Burke, and a Yorktown damaged.

OOC: the TIOR fleet is still being engaged and I'm helping them. Most of my attack was well before the cease-fire and all of it was typed before hand, except my response to me being fired upon.

IC: The 1,100 missiles came in. The Aegis ships came on line. There were literally 10,000s of SM-2s in the fleet ready for launch. 2,500 of the SM-2s were fired. (2.5 per missile). Some of the ships still got hit. 1 de Gaulle CVN was lost with all hands. 1 Guillen BBN took light damage to the port trimarian (it is heavily armored). 4 Ticos were lost along with 2 Burke DDGs. 7 Chicago FFGs were also victims.

The 8 Ohio SSGNs had new orders now. With their fleet under attack they went up to 150 feet and launched each of their 156 missiles at the GE ships that fired at their fleet.

At the same time the ships launched their own attack, consisting of over 1,000 deadfish ASM (basicly an improved moskit ASM), while a flight of 200 F35s closed with the enemy fleet at low altitude, and launched two deadfishes each.

OOC:None of your planes would be able to reach my fleet if your flying OVER them and dumping 100 pound bombs, that's a WWII tactic. I would have shot most of your planes down before they could even see my fleet. Just make like everyone else and use ASMs. Ah well, I'll post losses anyways.

The IDF Aegis systems and fighters launched SM-2 ERs and ALRAAMs at the enemy fighters.

With 1,400 inbound missiles, the attention turned to them. The ships were prepared and with the SM-2MRs and ERs they took out 1,300 missiles. 3 Arizona BBGs were sunk along with 1 payton battlecruiser and 8 Burke DDGs with 2 Farragat DDGs

Meanwhile, back at Holy Paradise, the other half of the armed forces got into transports under the watch of Commander-In-Chief John H. Once all the troops and armed units had gotten into the transport and the fleet sailed away, Commander-In-Chief John headed back to the Presidental Mansion. The forces directly from HP would be lead by Adm. Benjamin. Adm. Benjamin's fleet began sailing to Psov also, where they would meet up with Gen. Geofer's fleet about 900 miles from HP. There the two forces would wait for orders.

What kind of RP is this?

The IDF Aegis systems and fighters launched SM-2 ERs and ALRAAMs at the enemy fighters.

With 1,400 inbound missiles, the attention turned to them. The ships were prepared and with the SM-2MRs and ERs they took out 1,300 missiles. 3 Arizona BBGs were sunk along with 1 payton battlecruiser and 8 Burke DDGs with 2 Farragat DDGs
After launching their missiles, the fighters turned and tried to outmanvuever the incoming missiles. Although they were both extremeley manuverable and stealthy, many weren't very lucky. A total of 34 JSFs were blown out of the sky, and another 54 damaged beyond repair, but still managed to limp back toward their carrier, although several caught fire and exploded before reaching home. The pilots didn't bother ejecting, they simply refused to be taken prisoner.

Meanwhile, the ships began picking up the downed pilots, and sending them down to the brig were they would be interrogated...

Soon the two forces met up and began sailing to Psov under new orders from President John. 600 F-18As took off from the aircraft carriers and headed towards Psov to aid in bombing runs and air-to-air battles. The force's commander began speaking into the radio: "All right, listen up! The enemy is bound to have many air and ground defenses so be fast. We have to destroy those SAMs and enemy jets! Now lets kick some ass!"

Two Fleets that were not engaging received the order. To engage the Paradise Attack Fleet before they could land. They were far from the action, east of the main battle really. They would sail towards and intercept the Paradisian Attack Fleet, and possibly destroy it too.

In advance of course, 10 RB-1s and 25 RF-1s took off towards the attack fleet, the RB-1s were of course armed with 1,000 pounders and were ordered to bomb the carriers. The RF-1s were armed with one 500 pounder and were also ordered to bomb the Carriers, in their minds this would be easy.

Meanwhile, a message was issued:

There is a large Holy Paradisian Fleet heading towards Psov. They are numbered to around 20 Ships and we believe they are only Carriers. We require assistant.

President John received word that the war was over. He cheered aloud with joy. No Holy Paradise soldier had died! Even though GE withdrew, it was still heartening to know no one died. President John called up Gen. Geofer.

"Hello?" answered Gen. Geofer when he answered the phone.

"Right away, Mr. President." replied Gen. Geofer.

Gen. Geofer put down the phone and ordered the men to head home. They packed up and began sailing for home.

The people of Praetonia are gladdened by the news that another nation would not be added to the dispicable Generic Empire. We hope that this show of force on NATO's part will demonstrate to Generia that they cannot annex any nation they wish to with impunity. In support of allied forces, the 5th and 7th Imperial Fleets, along with the 2nd, 4th and 8th Destroyer Squadrons, are currently en route to take up defensive positions around Psov. [OOC: I think there can be a happy medium between planned RPs and unplanned ones. I'm not a fan of planning everything, but some agreement about how to tell the story is good, and perhaps establishing some parameters for how you want things done would enhance things.

I would say I like planning kept to a minimum, but Sdaeriji and I have been planning a LOT for an ongoing RP. Then again, the story is one that we want to be a great one in the history books of our two countries. That, and I'm getting to know him OOC and it's a good thing. :)]

OOC: I prefer unplanned battles becuase the nazis and Allied powers didn't sit down to plan D-Day or the whole battle. THings were unsuspected and movements unkown. So i like to bring in realism that way. But yeah if it was to be something to remember id do some planning.

The people of Praetonia are gladdened by the news that another nation would not be added to the dispicable Generic Empire. We hope that this show of force on NATO's part will demonstrate to Generia that they cannot annex any nation they wish to with impunity. In support of allied forces, the 5th and 7th Imperial Fleets, along with the 2nd, 4th and 8th Destroyer Squadrons, are currently en route to take up defensive positions around Psov. They will remain on station there until further notice. In addition, we are offering to construct massive batteries of anti-air and anti-ship VLS cells, free of charge, to provide Psov with an almost impenetrable defence network from Generian naval or airborne attack.

It will be on the Third of August and it will be called the "second Jubulous celebration of freedom due to the quick response of our ally The Island of Rose day," and it will involve a day off work, and school, and lots of festivals and food. oh and fireworks too. ANd i'll build a statue of President Illyanov. (that is your pres right?)

Everyone has a day off from work, and tickets to the gladiatorial games are free!(ironicly, TIOR has the broadcasting rights, and Praetonia has the rights to all the merchandise)
