Flying relatively low, the Yallakian Transport planes began their final approach. A total of 12,000 men would be drop in the next few hours into Western Allanea.
Escorting the transports were a squadron of F-22's.

"Attention Allanean Ar command - this is Squadron Leader Ian Schott of the Yallakian Air Force. We are inbound bearing, North 54 degrees West.
Forces will be droped just North of your capital, you can tell them where to go from there".

They flew on, now about 30mins from their drop point.

Over the Melkorian Fleet

Alexander Grensky, commander of the Lifeless swore as the defensive system destroyed the Melkorian missiles only a short distance from the hull. The Michael Badnarik and the Harry Browne were not as lucky, turned into vapor by the explosions of their drives. The Texas, heavily damaged, tried to pull itself out of the athmosphere.

In the sky over the Glaurung, it was not as bad. A single Rube-class ship lost an engine - no enemy fire, it just turned off and plunged into the sea.

"Damn those aliens!" - swore Grensky at the suppliers. He swore as he saw two more ships get torn apart by Melkorian fighters.

"Activate plan Brander." said Grensky.

Far away, the Rube class ships started firing at the Glaurung from four different directions. A second later, the Gloria Mark-class 'cruiser' spun at the Glaurung, firing wildly. The Gloria was unmanned, commanded only by a slightly reprogrammed AI. Then it hit the afterburners and went at the Glaurung, top speed, nearly flying itself apart with the sudden acceleration. The deadly cargo of the ship - several thousand tons of high-grade explosives was known to nobody but those who loaded it.

"Now that's what I call a brander" said Grensky, looking at the screen.

Heston City OOC: that's your capital right??

Ground forces began digging fortification and establishing anti air defences.

Approaching South-West Allanean Coast

After a delay, the Yallakian Fleets had finally arrived. On board the IYS Lexington, the 600+ m long Battleship, Admiral Dagon set the orders for his ships.

"Vice-Admiral Eison, the 4th & 6th fleets are to move in and blockade the SW Allanean coast from entry by any hostiles.
The 9th Fleet is to escort our transports safely to the coast."

Dagon then contacted Allanea:

"The emperor has dispatched 4 fleets to aid your defence, I have positioned 3 around the SW coast, and have one remaining to be deployed at your discretion"

Behind the Fleets transports carried towards Allanea 25 infantry divisions and 5 Armoured division.

OOC: If anyone has any of their own fleets near the SW coast can they let me know.

Numberwanking: A fleet consists of:

1 Karak Class SuperBattleship
2 Khorland Class Battleships
3 Beliskner Class Supercarriers
each containing: 3 F-22 Squadrons, 3 F-14 Squadrons, 2 C-62 Squadrons, 1 F-18 Squadron, 1 C-77 Squadron + AWAC's etc.
5 Cruisers
7 Destroyers
8 Frigates

Inf Division: 32 K men + artillery

Apparently, the Allaneans had forgotten the fact that the Glaurung was close to 300 meters underwater. [see previous post]

The rest of the ships watched with no small amount of amusement as the missiles slammed into the waves, most of them either exploding on impact, or making it a short distance underwater only to splutter and die.

Onboard the Gorgoroth, Commodore Petrik laughed. "Finish them," he commands, gesturing towards the command screen. By now most of the 5th had risen above the clouds, and prepared a crushing volley of ship to ship missiles that was sure to finish off the budding Allanean space force once and for all. Missile frigates pointed their noses to the sky and let loose, sending another 80 heavy fusion missiles at the Texas and the Lifeless A volley of smaller, lighter missiles streaked in from the AA frigates in such a manner as to coincide with the larger, more potent missile strike. By now most of the 5ths' fighter escort had taken to strafing the hulls of the Allanean craft, battering them with ballistic and particle cannon fire before promptly breaking off to allow the missiles in.

Wheeling around again, several squadrons of fighters and bombers swooped in just behind the missiles, to finish off whatever might be left.

The 7th Fleet pushed on, a short distance above water as the Allanean coastline came within firing range. Fighters kicked in their afterburners and sped towards the beaches, as heavy gauss cannons locked into place aboard Frigate and capship alike, to release a screaming volley of nuclear artillery at the coastal defenses. Bombers broke off to seek seperate targets, and long range rockets were dispatched to deal with any coastal airfields.

back in the Five Kingdoms, the 6th, 3rd, and 8th Battlefleets had been readied, along with Sky Furnaces Hithlum and Gothmog. They set out at once for Allanea, fighter escort patrolling regularly in shifts.

[Yallack: I dont think Allanea has a southwest coast... most of it is north-facing IIRC. I'm coming fromt he north, with just over 100 warships. The 7th is near to the sea, and the 5th is maybe 50,000 feet above them, engaging the Allanean space fleet from the upper atmosphere. I'll be landing in my next post [or, possibly, engaging Yallack, I don't know]. Both Furnaces are currently well underwater, as Allanea seems to have overlooked.

My attack summary is as follows: eighty (80) capship-killer class heavy fusion missiles have been launched at three Allanean ships. Along with this, jsut to seal their demise, I've launched close to 150 smaller, less damaging missiles at the same three ships. That's just over 20 heavy missiles per Allanean warship, plus 50 or so smaller ones. You do the math.

The coastal attack is a bit more complicated. Most of the artillery fire is centered around what will soon be the landing area, extending outward radially. The ships are firing continuously, which means I will be shooting at the Allanean coast until I get there. Main targets are coastal AA encampments and Allanean military bunkers, pillboxes, and so forth. The shells are also small nuclear devices, delivering a payload of roughtly .5mT. I'm really bad with yields and stuff, so if this is utterly ridiculous, just let me know. But I dont think it is.

The missile strike [consisting of about 200 medium-sized, medium-payload warheads] is aimed primarily at coastal infrastructure: supply lines, trenches, command posts, and the like. The other three fleets will arrive in the theatre in two or three posts' time. ]

The Chellian V-121's, to help the Melkor Unchained forces, have fired all their Stryker G-2 missiles, about 2000 total, at various targets, cities, sams, anything that will cause a decent amount of damage to allanea. 1000 Incindiary missiles have been fired at Allanean cities, for a hopeful start of large scale fires. When possible, fire fighter stations were targeted with cruise missiles in conjunction with the incindiary missiles, so that fire fighter support would be hindered. No strikes were more than 200km into allanea.

IC: The Austian fleet carried on moving towards Allanea, planning to pick up a fleet of transports and land on it's beaches. The aircraft on the carriers took off to pound the beach they would attack and the cruisers with there long range ICBM's and cruise missiles began to fire them at the same beach.

[OOC: Well, let's say that if you blow up a 0.5mT warhead, people as far as 12 kilometers radius away from the impact point will get none less than 3rd degree burns(out of 4 degrees). And the impact point would be a crater as deep as ~60m and ~240m diameter.
I am not a nuclear engineer and my calculations are only based on the rough knowledge I have from reading different books. So I invite anyone who is more skilled in the matter to prove me wrong.
So if you want to lower the level of the coast and flood Allanean territory, that's the way to do it.
More than that, 500kiloton(0.5megaton) yields are carried by ICBMs such as the SS-18 and SS-19.

As such, 0.5mT are perfect to wipe out all presence in enemy territory. But I wouldn't want to be a trooper of yours that you'll be landing over there.

2kt explosion:
Thermal Radiation (third degree burns) : 2.3 kilometres
1st Air blast Radius (widespread destruction) : 2 kilometres
2nd Air Blast Radius (near total fatalities) : 752 metres
Ionizing Radiation radius (500 rem) : 1.5 kilometres
Fireball Duration : 0.8 seconds
Fireball radius (minumum) : 90 metres
Fireball radius (airbust) : 110 metres
Fireball radius (ground contact airburst) : 150 metres

All figures assume optimum burst height

Thermal radiation is non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation which has a significant heating effect. Air is virtually transparent to thermal radiation. At the destructive radius, the thermal radiation intensity is sufficient to cause lethal burns.

The first air blast is 4.6psi overpressure, which is sufficient to collapse most residential and industrial structures. Note that exposed humans can actually survive such a blast, about 1/3 bar above standard. However, that much pressure exerted against the face of a building exerts very high force (a 40 foot tall, 50 foot wide structure would be hit with more than 600 tons-force).

The second air blast category is 20psi overpressure, which is sufficient to destroy virtually any large above-ground structure and cause nearly 100% fatalities.

Ionizing radiation is electromagnetic radiation of sufficient frequency (and hence energy) to literally "knock off" electrons from atoms, thus ionizing them. Ionizing radiation is extremely dangerous but it is also strongly absorbed by air, unlike thermal radiation. At the 500rem dosage, mortality is between 50% and 90%, although this can be mitigated with prompt and sophisticated medical care (which may not be available in the aftermath of a nuclear attack).

Fireball duration is based on emission intensity reduction to 10% of peak.

RE: Unlawful use of force?

Surely this situation could be settled more amicably using diplomacy rather than War? As far as I can tell Allanea isn't *that* unreasonable and finding a solution to this problem wouldn't be that hard. All that is happening here is AMF is not attempting any democracy, and using a cheap excuse to grind someone into the dust. And as per usual, every Nation on the planet goes along with him.

I am not defending Allanea's actions in attacking AMF, but there was a reason. A reason such as this may not have been justified considering what response was ellicited because of it (pre-emptive strike) but surely everything doesn't *always* have to come down to a War in which a smaller nation is ripped limb from limb simply because a larger nation wants to show off his Army.

Keep in mind this is not any kind of 'direct insult' of your policies in attacking him, simply a direct critiscm of the way this World cannot use Diplomacy and negotiations as a tool. The only option in the big nations minds when they are attacked is to bomb the other nation into the dust. This isn't necessary!

In conclusion I would just like to say that The Nation of Nazi Weaponized Virus (situated in Greece and Cyprus) does not hold any radical views concerning opinions of the foreign policy of both nations, but rather the way they deal with certain situations. It inflames the situation, rather than douses it as can be done with Diplomacy. There are many justified cases for War on NS: Genocide, Unlawful Invasions, Use of WMD e.t.c. But I believe that this particular situation need not have developed into what it has become.

Petrik yawned lazily as the Gorgoroth lurched through the water, the dull boom of the distant depth charges echoing through the deep. "Damage?"

An aide turned around in his chair and handed off a datapad to the Sky Marshal. "Not much," he asserts, punching up another screen on his computer. "Reaver took a couple more hits topside. Glaurung reports a depth charge attack, this much we know," says the tech, pointing upwards as another boom could be heard. " 'S more than likely what those booming noises are.

Tezt scrolled. The tech squinted at it as Petrik leaned forward to investigate. "Fuck. Glaurung has sprung some leaks. A charge has breached her hull. Scans indicate compartments 2a through 1b have been sealed. Estimated crew casualties..." hje squints at his screen. "Fifteen men. That's if everyone was where they were supposed to be."

Petrik snorts. "We're close enough. Start surfacing," he orders, turning on his heels to shout at the helmsman. "Begin ascent!" he shouts, taking the intercomm device from the wall. "Furnace crews assume your posts. Begin stoki--"

"Sir!" The technician damn near jumped out of his seat.

Petrik raised a quieting hand, visibly annoyed. "Activate Furnaces and commence stoking. Furnaces are to be prepared for ventral immolation within 90 minutes." He clicks off the microphone. "What?!"

"Sir, Allanea just surrendered. He handed his cmmander the communique he had just received. Petrik read it, his mouth eventually falling open. "Already?" he asks incredulously.

"It would seem so. Orders?"

The rest of the bridge crew looked expectantly at the Sky Marshal, who promptly set himself about ordering his crews around. "Comm One, get on the horn with Angband and inform them of this development. Comm Two, contact the fleets topside to make sure they received this as well. Furnace, proceed as normal. All men to battlestations: we're still surfacing. And until I hear otherwise, we will continue over Allanea."

Public Diplomatic Transmission
Open line to all forces in area
From: Sky Marshal Roland Petrik

Allanea has surrendered to the Five Kingdoms. Allanea is now a protectorate of the Imperium, until further notice. All active forces are advised to disengage Allanea or you will be treated as hostile. Our fleets will continue onward into Allanea to asses damages and deliver our terms for surrender. Furthermore, the Five Kingdoms is henceforth enforcing a no fly zone over the entirety of Allanea, effective in 5 hours. Any craft seen in the sky at the end of this time will be dispatched in brutal fashion.

The nations of Automagfreek and Pantera may claim exception to the no-fly zone should they wish. If interested, AMF and Pantera may initiate dialogue with Angband concerning the extent of their rights.

[OC: by now my fleets are probably about a stone's throw from the northern shore. The furnaces are rising, but are not quite out of the water yet. The 5th as begun to drop altitude, having [I assume] dispatched the Allanean space vessels. If there are any such Allanean space vessels still operational that he's just not mentioning, disregard that: the fleets will stay elevated until their foes are destroyed. The battlefleets I dispatched in my last post are now roughly halfway to Allanea.]

"Ten?" Petrik asked as he rushed to the scope.

"Yessir. Computer's still figuring out where they came from.

Petrik whirled around and brought up his Command Station: a veritable orgy of holographic displays, screens, and combat scopes. One by one, new screens flashed to life as various ship Captains contacted the Gorgoroth. Petrik hastily highlighted the ships as the fore of his fleet formation and set them on a different course via his CS.

"Ascend and pivot 180 degrees," he orders. "Bring all PD systems to bear in incoming bogeys: scramble any bayside fighters and coordinate with the 7th to create a second fighter screen. All Anti-Air frigates swing to the flanks and face forward again once the volley has passed. Expand, and mitigate. Ten missiles isnt enough to take us down, boys. Feed em the EMP widerange and do me proud," he says firmly. "I don't want to see a hit."

The fleets complied with the Sky Marshal's orders, the first row of frigates doing an about-face and speeding away from each other, giving what the captains had judged to be an adequate berth. As the volley closed, the sky was filled with the bright blue and white of the Imperial Battlefleets area EMP batteries. Nine missiles dropped to the ground harmlessly, their systems shut down. The tenth was smitten by a laser PD arc on MisFrig 0019's aft side, but perhaps a mite too close. The missile detonates, and the unfortunate frigate is consumed in the flash, falling from the sky a moment later. A number of nearby frigates struggle with their electronic systems shortly afterward, falling out of fomration breifly as vacuum backups kicked in.

The response was devastating, to say the least. The 5th and 7th resumed firing in tandem, all thirty five operational missile frigates raining ballistic death on their distant foes. Ventral gauss batteries swung around slowly and acheived target lock, mercilessly pounding any ground resistance they could find. Tanks and other heavy vehicles such as mobile missile launchers were their primary targets, unlike the heavy missiles which tended to target airfields and any missile silos within range.

The fleets shifted formation slightly as they travelled overland, spreading out so as to allow the larger capships a wider firing arc with their ventral gauss systems. Gauss fire rained endlessly on Allanean fortifications as the fleet lumbered onward, missiles clearing their tubes constantly.

Back in the Five Kingdoms, Lord Melkor readied another devastating barrage of kinetics. Orders were dispatched to fire, and silo Overlords once again filled the air with the blinding whiteness of rocket engines.

Just over two thousand of these missiles made their way through the space sepearting Allanea and the Five Kingdoms; screaming endlessly towards their designated targets: air fields and missile silos exclusively.

The approach of the other three fleets was now much faster than it had been before, as all crews were ordered to redline their engines to make it to the theater in time to minimize losses to the 5th and 7th Fleets.

The Furnaces began to glow, an eerie portent of things to come.

[OC: OK, now for the part I hate: the attack summary. I have about 35 missile frigates capapble of firing at the moment, meaning five are either destroyed or disabled. A traditional volley lasts about 90-130 seconds, and includes two missiles from each frigate, and one from most tubes on my capships. Here's the lowdown:

-219 heavy fusion missiles, aimed at Allanean bunkers and artillery positions--be it mobile or stationary
-315 concussion [light] missiles, aimed at SAM sites and various other AA encampments, be they turrets or missile launchers]
-more artillery shells than I can count, firing continuously
...and actually, that's probably just about it. Fighters are staying in close formation right now, and aren't actively engaging anything yet. Same with gunships.
Oh yeah, and 2,125 ICKM's [see below]

Concerning the ICKM missiles: Allanea and I had an argument over IRC about these at one point, wherein he hypothesized that kinetic missiles as I described them would fly out of orbit. Turns out he was probably right, and I misunderstood the function of my missiles. Check the OOC thread [first few pages] for my dissertation about their operation. I can submit figures for missile yields upon request]

"Hell." Rear Admiral Gray quietly mumbled. "Help them! Oxford, heading 270, kick it!" He barked into the phone.

A single destroyer sped west at speeds approaching forty knots. Although still a respectable distance away from the Melkor Fleet, the Oxford carried six experimental solid-fuel SCRAMjet missiles. The odds were long that the Allanean missiles could be intercepted, at such extreme ranges, but still, Oxford finished her sprint run and launched all six before continuing westward again at a slightly more sane speed.

"Melkor Fleet, this is Adejaani Task Force. Six blips should be on your radar screen, trying to intercept incoming Allanean missiles. Don't know if they'll do much. The destroyer that launched them is continuing westward to continue missile defense, not that you really need it...

"Still, that's what friends are for. Good luck, I guess." Gray finished awkwardly and hung up the phone.

Eurydian forces had remained eerily quiet throughout the entire conflict. While allies of AMF, the mindset of Eurydian High Command was that any Eurydian force would only get in the way. The resources had been allocated for an Allanea offensive long ago, but the need hadn’t presented itself. The 35 Autonomous Cruisers continued to orbit Earth, watching with vigilant eyes any sort of trouble Allanea could muster.

The Allanean nuclear retaliation, while ineffective at attacking the Melkorian fleets, did catch the eye of Fleet Commander Hector, who immediately prepared to assist the hordes in their advance on Allanea.

Hector, a man who, despite his name, was as gangly as a prepubescent teenager, opened a channel to the lead Furnace. (ooc:I assume that’s what Petrik is on.) “My eye couldn’t help but catch the pyrotechnics in proximity to your fleet. A pleasant show.” Hector paused for a moment, then gave a hearty smile. “Forgive my rudeness, I’m Captain Hector of the Eurydian Republic. May we descend into the atmosphere and join up with your forces? Allanea is on its heals, I thought it might be the opportune time to come in and help deliver the final blow.”

Hector again paused. In his finely pressed blue uniform he thought about AMF’s announcement and Pantera’s –not to mention Petriks—response to the spoils dividing that was about to take place. “Of course,” Hector added, “We’d take no part in the splitting of goods Allanea has to offer. We merely offer our assistance as a kind gesture.”

Aboard his cruiser, Hector nodded slowly. When you’re on a roll, you’re on a roll. Best not get in the way. He motioned to his lieutenant, who promptly approached. Hector looked sort of beaten –his forces had been waiting for days, hoping to engage something—and yet, he completely understood Petrik’s need to keep the battlefield as clear of outside interference as possible.

“Gregor,” Hector said with a sigh, “pull our forces into high orbit over Allanea. Keep a watchful eye on the battle below. If anything should take a nasty turn, let me know. I doubt anything strange will happen, but you can never be to sure with these bastard Allaneans.”

Gregor nodded, his short blonde hair bobbing in tandem, and walked off. Hector responded to Petrik with an equally short reply, although, considering his ships had positioned themselves nowhere near the battle, his tone sounded far less hurried. “Understood SkyMarshal.” Hector, finished with his response, gazed upon the viewscreen, which showed the Allanean coastline and its bombardment by Melkorian forces, missiles streaking by as fast as his eyes could keep up. For Eurydian Special Forces we sure aren’t utilized all that much. No matter, Allanea is getting far worse than us. And so he continued to keep his watchful eyes on the battle raging below.

For the moment the Panteran fleet under Caval the Warhound sat a good distance off the coast of Allanea. He had a sizeable force prepared for a ground invasion, but it looked as if it would be useless.

His aircraft hovered about Allanea, engaging any airborne resistance there was, and occasionally taking the chance to nail a gound target that tempted them. Taking full advantage of the open air that hte Imperium had allowed them, the Hound snorted at that, he sent his squadrons on numerous runs, eager to seek out any opposition but keeping a careful eye on the Imperium's own forces. They knew that none of them were to be trusted.

Content to wait for the Evenstar to negotiate Pantera's terms, the Warhound continued to sit, and harass the remaining Allanean defiance.

That's it. I've had all I can take from these assholes. First they surrender, now they fire off their mouths like they're tough shit. If they're not going to take us seriously, then I'm going to unleash on their asses. Deploy the Sentinels now.

Damien's first mate complied, and across secure lines the message was sent out to the Sentinels: pillage and burn, leave none alive. The Freek warships taking part in the naval blockade of Allanea erupted into life. Through aid of AMF satellites, Freek battelships, missile frigates, and the like began firing at inland targets ranging from several hundred yards all the way up to 60 miles. Battleship artillery poured down onto the Allanean mainland some 30 miles up, while missiles and rocket assisted artillery flew out farther. Everything was targeted: airfields, power plants, defenses, and homes. Under cover of smoke from the exploded shells and cover from the Imperium warvessles overhead, the transports moved forward with the first wave of Sentinels. As the ship neared the land, high explosive mortar rounds fired off from mounted turrets o each transport. With massive ordianance filling the sky, the doors on the first transports flew open, and pouring out onto the beach were hundreds of rabid Sentinels. Thousands more would follow, and the word had been sent out across the radio to all allied forces: Engage at will. Bring them to their knees.

Freek naval guns continued to fire on their targets for over a half hour, and specialized rocket assisted artillery with EMP heads began raning down on Allanean anti-aircraft installations. Once these installations were knocked out, the green light would be given to commence air bombardment.

Back on the beach the Sentinels continued unloading en masse. With the first elements of Zander's forces moving swiftly up the shores, Lord Damien began prepping his assult force to move out in conjuction with Panteran forces. It was unclear if the Imperium would be landing forces as well, but the time for games had ended. Allanea was still talking big and defying coalition forces, and The Destroyer had decided that this was enough.

All coaltion forces, move in an engage any Allanean targets as they appear. They refuse to cooperate and think that this situation has boiled over. Do not show them any mercy nor give any Allanean quarter. Be swift and brutal, and perhaps we wil bring them to their knees once and for all. I'm tired of fucking around, this ends now.

Allanean Provisional Government official advertisement

It seems that the AutoMagenFreeken aggressors do not understand that our offers of peace are not due to weakness, but due to the fact that we sincerely wished to stop this war, started illegitimately by an usurping government. They seem bent on declaring war not simply on the Allanean government, but on the Allanean people.
Subduing the Allanean people by force is impossible - a history lesson every child in Haven learns in 2nd Grade. Time to teach AMF some history.

In Allanea

Even as 2,000 Allanean troops were lost from incoming AMF fire, the encampments built along the shore by the Allaneans did work to protect them.

"Prepare to hit them."

From the mobile Abu Abbas launchers, two waves of Yakhont missiles were launched - at 500 misisles launched at the Sygma Octavus ships and 1,000 at the AMF ships. Simultaneously, hundreds of Timothy McVeigh SP cannons and MRLS systems rained hell on those troops that did make it to the shore.

Forward Assault Fleet Positions

"Commander?"

"Yes, sailor?"

"We lost two more ships."

"It doesn't matter. We have landed the assault forces. Our mission is completer. Turn back towards Allanea."

And the handful of ships turns back, leaving the teams behind...

Forbidden Island

The men run out of the helicopters.

"Go! Go! Go!"

Within minutes, the helicopters are in the air, flying away. Within minutes, a radio is set up and a flag is stuck in the ground, and a transmission is sent out.

Good day. This is Lieutenant Smith, Assault Team Alpha Commander. As of this moment, I declare Forbidden Island a Province of Allanea

Team Bravo Landing Site

Somehow, they have evaded the shelling. Now, they were moving north - until they see a highway.

"Sir, what's that car?"

"What do we do, Sir?"

And the AMF war begins.

The 3rd, 6th, and 8th Fleets are rapidly closing on the North coast: probably less than 5km out to sea.]

As the 5th and 7th pressed into Allanea and past the harmful effects of their massive shelling, the Furnaces and Air Destroyers descended to the bottom of the formation, and began to dispatch a large number of shuttles from their bays, covered by a contingent of the gunships and fighter escort. The small attack craft swung underneath the formation to secure [re: strafe the piss out of] a landing area about 2km behind the Furnaces themselves. The two Furnaces made tandem ninety degree turns; creating a parallel front against the approaching infantry. The lumbering, ebon hulks closed on the enemy ground forces at a frightening rate, preceded by a short line of AA frigates and the majority of the 5th and 7th's Cruisers, whose extensive ventral gauss arrays began to scan the ground for any artillery large enough to pose a threat to the Furnaces.

The rest of the fleets advanced a short distance behind, beginning to rise slowly. Squadrons more of Raven class fighters left the 4 carriers in regular intervals, arraying themselves in formation while preparing for the assult. Soon, the massive cannons of the cruisers and Air Destroyers would flash to life, and that would be their cue.

On either side of him stood two Taskmasters, their hands folded neatly behind their backs. The red-clad Haradrim lowered his binoculars with a scowl, extending his right hand expectantly and handing off the binoculars on his left.

"Go. Now," he grunts to the man on his left, who salutes and hurries off to the nearest hatch. Ezerhan nods to the remaining Taskmaster, and takes the offered communicator, raising it to his ear. "Outgoing," he grunts simply, waiting for a moment for the holding signal to clear.

"Attention approaching Naval craft:" he begins, speaking clearly and loudly."This is Commodore Overlord Ezerhan Kordiyeh of the Five Kingdoms.Your presence in this theater is not authorized. Suggest immediate relocation or else we will be obligated to remove you forcibly," he requests simply, peering at the far off shapes of the puny foreign warships. He crosses his arms and smiles grimly as he keeps the comm open long enough for the enemy to hear a feed of every individual battery in the three fleets moving in tandem. The comm was flooded for a moment by the distinct sound of over six hundred and fifty gun arrays situating themselves on the approaching surface vessels.

Sneering a challenge to the approaching foes, he speaks again. "Will you comply?" he dares.

Sky Marshal Roland Petrik peered towards the horizon with no small amount of amusement, lounging on a bench on the deck of the Gorgoroth as it pressed towards its enemy. Slowly, he lifts the enormous mug of coffee he's holding in his right hand, and grins broadly. He can feel the ship getting warmer, as the Furnaces were stoked to their full fury. Soon, he would order the massive craft to engulf the foe in flaming death. He sighed. Alas, he had to make some effort to talk the cretins down. Pulling his communicator from his breast pocket, he raises the device to his ear, interrupted by an Overlord, running at him from some distance off.

"Sir!" shouts the burly Dunlending, slowing eventually to a stop and producing a datapad. Pressing a button on the side, it activates, showing a live feed apparently from a frigate near the North Shore, depicting brief flashes of the AMF assault. "The Freeks have landed," he announces, nodding to the Sky Marshal.

Petrik raised his eyebrows, holding off his response long enough to lower the mug from his face, his free hand still halfway to his ear with the communicator. Handing the mug to the huffing Taskmaster, he holds up a finger. "I'll take care of this," he announces with a grin, pushing the communicator into his ear. "Open Channel," he says simply, yawning idly as he waits to be patched through. A moment later, he stands slowly. "All guns fire at will," he announces loudly. "Continue to engage until further notice."

Turning back to the Taskmaster, he smiles, and glances at his watch as the gauss cannons below and around him groan to life, situating themselves on only the very closest formations of Yallak's artillery devices, several of the batteries screaming to life, accompanied shortly thereafter with the boom of the rail drivers, firing off several inital salvos to help clear the way for the Furnaces. The two men share a chuckle as they proceed to the nearest hatch, disappearing underneath it as the Ravens began to fly overhead.

Looks like they had some burnin' to do.

The Chellians were too tired of being pushed around.

--

They had finally been authorized. These planes had been sitting here for ages. It was only 150 Cargo aircraft, it was three paratrooper divisions. The fight would be brought to the Allaneans. The fight would be brought by the best military the world had ever seen, and even if it wasnt the largest contribution, the chellians knew. They knew that Chellis was infallible.

The Planes took off within 2 hours of the instruction. The men had been ready. They had been ready for days, and it kept getting delayed. It was not being delayed anymore.

"Check one, Check too. All equipment has been loaded. We have fighter support. Lets go kick some ass." Said a cargo pilot in a thick chellian accent. About 300 soldiers sat in the back of this cargo aircraft. About 45 thousand sat in all of the aircraft. In minutes, 45 thousand soldiers were in the air, holding onto their Rifles with an almost bliss in their hearts, that they were finally going to see action, the majority of chellian soldiers sitting in chellis or a territory and acting as policemen.

Over 450 I-4 Fighter planes supported the cargo aircraft, and also 30 V-121 Scouts, carrying Cluster bombs, with the intention of clearing landing spots before the troops landed.

The Planes cruised over the atlantic, crossing across the strait of gibraltar after sending a few messages to Verbotten Luftwaffe. Radar swept every direction around them. Missiles were armed and ready to fire at anything that came at them. They would do their job at a level of heroism, a level of excellence that the job required. They were part of the best military and nation in the world.

"Sir. More bad news. Our troops walked into a Melkorian bombardment. Near all of the first landing are dead or wounded."

"Shit! Shit, shit, shit! This war has not been good to us."

The admiral looked grimly at his navy. This was not a good time for the naval forces of Sigma Octavus. A straight out land war would have been easily won, but this was different. A third of the fleet sunk or crippled, thousands of men dead, costs skyrocketing.

"Inform the navy. We're pulling the hell out of here."

"Sir? How far sir?"

"Give me a hundred miles. We need to get out of range of anything they could send at us. Call back home and tell them we're gonna need to go entirely airdrop to get into that country."

"Aye sir."

30 minutes later

The navy was heading farther out to sea at this time, several boats lashed together to keep them moving. The admiral had his head in his hands. "Damnit...."

"Sir, call from home."

The admiral looked sourly at the speaker. "Very well....put them through to me." He picked up the phone. "Hello, I'm here."

"Admiral, expect reinforcements very soon."

The admiral sighed,"What have you sent?"

"There are currently several carrier groups headed in your direction. We're going to get those troops into that country."

The admiral finished the conversation and sat back in his chair. He knew he was going to be demoted for this one.

Their orders came swiftly, and soon the fist of fighters was screaming toward the Allanean fleet that lurked around Mako Island. Engage! Edolian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Official Announcement
"Due to increased tensions between Arda and Allanea and the start of hostilities between the aforementioned powers, we are officially stating our complete and utter neutrality. However, due to concerns over the affects of war on the Allanean populace, we are opening our borders to all Allanean refugees seeking safe haven in Edolia."

OOC: Edolia,

Automagfreek, Melkor and Pantera have all pretty much just ignored Allanea now, so it's not really imporant.
