OOC: I'd like to point out that while it is a "military city", there are tens of thousands of civilians also living here. Mainly families of the defeated Saudi Army.

IC:

The Iraqi soldiers fled from the outskirts of the military city, taking heavy casualities. They fired back on the Artistian forces here and there during the retreat, in a supression-type mode. Several of the 23mm and 57mm guns were captured or destroyed by the Artistian forces. Casualities were as follows:

625 dead
1,102 wounded
45 missing

Iraqi troops have moved back inside of the main part of the city, where the majority of civilians are based. Soon, the approximately 20 122mm mortars of the division began to fire in the area where the enemy troops were known to be. Spotters inside of civilian buildings directed the fire of the mortar crews.

ooc: Thats ok. I don't believe in the Geneva convention or this Wittier Convention.

ic: The 120mm mortar shells played havoc upon the Artitsan troops, killing over 120 soldiers and wounding hundreds of others. But using sound techniques and triganometry, the 65 81mm Mortars manageged to zone into the area firing off the shells. JF-20's and EA-135's flew overhead giving confirmation of targets hit or not, and also adjustments. In the meantime, the troops kept their heads down until more armour made its way to their position.

This war started as a result of Al Anbar's invasion of and annexation of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Lebanon. This war was fought for reasons much like those of WWII, to stop a dictator from imperialism in his own region. We aren't fighting to conquer any lands, but to liberate the occupied. We ask that you join us to protect the innocents who have been occupied by AA.

I have decided to send in 100,000 troops because of Al Anabar?s persistence to antagonize the International community. I feel that endorsing Saddam Hussan is wrong. Saddam was a horrible man and deserves what coming to him. I feel Al Anabar has got to stop trying to conqure and destroy. We are just afraid he may get the idea he would try to boss us around. I rather eat cr@p then have my people live under your rule. My troops will hopeful effectively neutralize the situation. Also this is a fun RP so I just want to get in the action. I hoipe it is not to late for me to show up.

After being limited to conventional attack,

A Minuteman4-NNCW has been launched at the biggest concentration of military force in King khalid military city as detected by the spy sattellite.
Airstrikes will begin once damage from Icbm strike is calculated.

(if you have any objections to the icbm strikes i will stop, although airstrikes will continue as I have no ground forces to offer the coalition)

OOC: NNCW? I'll assume that this is the same type of weapon as last time with nothing different. Correct me if I'm wrong.

IC:

The entire city shook when the ICBM crashed into the city. The largest concentration of fighters had also been in the largest concentration of the civilians in the city, now that the military had moved into the city and out of its surroundings.

Some 1,575 civilians died with another 500 others injured. Among the military, some 895 soldiers were killed and another 600 wounded.

23 E-77 Whittier built electronic surviellance craft entered Iraqi airspace under the escort of 455 F35 Joint Strike Fighters.
As soon as they were in they began jamming all electronics inside Iraq, including communications, radar, cell phones, televisions, radios,
SAM installations.
Next came the 5 S-125's, a special type of electronics surviellance aircraft. As they approached a blinded baghdad, they each launched a small missile in to the area at designated targets. The small black objects detonated a mile above the city sending out extremely strong EMP pulses making the electronic communications blackout permanent and destroying power stations, car electronics, and generators. The only electronic equipment not affected was that which was not turned on at the time.
Baghdad was blacked out by EMP weapons.

Following the EMP attacks on Baghdad, the C130's carrying the thousands of airborne troops and hundreds of armored units entered the Iraq under the escort of 5,000 fighter/bombers.
As they approached the Al Anbar capital, the planes began to dump white parachutes into the air by the hundreds.
Some containing airborne troops others crates.
As the crates landed just outside Baghdad, they busted open as M1A1's and T90's broke free of them moved forward and fired shell after shell into the city of Baghdad.
As the MBT's headed to Baghdad, the 15 Airborne divisions began touching down and putting away their parachutes before heading toward the nearest entrance to Downtown Baghdad where they expected house to house fighting.
Baghdad was surrounded. On one side were 3 divisions of M1s. On a second side were 4 division of T90's. On a third were the 15 airborne divisions half of whome were spreading out to cover the fourth side as Baghdad came under heavy attack from 450 Apache attack helicopters.
Meantime, the c130's left the area and their escorts began blasting the crap out of the remaining government and military positions in and around Baghdad. The 10th and 24th Mechanized divisions who had dropped with the armor made straight for the main entrance to Baghdad.
Meantime, 5 miles away, a 3 fleets of Blackhawk helicopters were delivering the first 4 contingents of marines to be used in the Battle for Baghdad.
The coalition was throwing everything available into the battle.
More infantry and marines were on the way to back up the attack.

As coalition forces began concentrating on Baghdad, LowerEgypt's armed forces entered the war at last. 400,000 Loweregyptian amphibious assault troops began making their landing at Maqna. Replacing the Whittier troops that were diverted for the attack on Baghdad.
Meantime, 700,00 Egyptian infantry crossed from Jordan Province directly into Iraq and began attacking the Al Anbari positions around Rutba.
A division of Egyptian shock troops were delivered by air transport to the area around Damascus were they immediately set seige to the city, joining coalition forces already there.

How did you get your troops to Maqna and how can you move so fast to Rutba?

The cease-fire is pending an AA proposal to pull out. It is in effect now, but attacks will begin in 48-72 hours without any gains in negotiation

Whittier is also initiating a cease fire, pending the Al Anbari implementation of their own proposal. However, all forces around Baghdad will remain in place. Those scheduled to go to Baghdad are now on standby and are ordered to be ready to go at moments notice.
The ball is now in AA's hands.

Al Anbar will begin to withdraw from Saudi Arabia and Kuwait once all forces declare a ceasefire and cease their advancement into our territory. This includes LowerEgypt and 'The Atheists Reality'.

CEASE FIRE is in effect and will remain so as long as AA pulls out.

We are moving our carrier battle group out of the area. USS Constellation is heading home where she will participate in war games with our new carrier, the USS Farragut
