The engines hummed in the ships, and the Wrath's battle group jumped into hyperspace.

*The PSS Wraith and consorts arrive at the designated co-ordinates. Suddenly a massive ship drops its stealth field. The PSS Wraith recognises it as the main Phoenixius Mothership. The ships that are left board her. The stealth field goes up, and the massive ship dissappears from view.*

15 terran ships wne in to formation and begain a defncsive stance around star bace 601 .

The Justice's Wraith group jumped out of hyperspace in the Orion Nebula. The Firestorm was there, waiting for them, and then the larger fleet jumped again, this time to a Terran outpost, and asked them what's going on so far.

The ships lined up, and then made a second jump, this time, to Starbase 601.

OOC: The stats for the mothership won't be posted up - same as the other ships - especially ass you haven't come accross it yet. HOwever you can be sure that the ships itself is massive - bigger than your Star Base 601 I'm sure. It'll leave a massive ion trail, but heavily defended.

Meanwhile, a small X-wing fighter jumps out of hyperspace in an unknown location (mothership's home). Lt. Eric Foryd sighed, and wondered what happened to cut hyperspace so short.
"Rocks, is there anything out there?"
"Beep whistle boop breeep." His R2 unit said negatively. <Sorry, Eric, nothing yet.>
"Hmm. Well, let me know if you see anything."

The X-wing zoomed through the solar system, and...
"What the hell is that?" He asked. It was a ship larger than anything he has ever seen. "I have a bad feeling about this."

A Officer walked out to greet the newcomer, telling him the basics, and saying he was free to go anywhere on the vessel.

"Thank you. It's a nice craft." Lt. Foryd said in genuine appreciation.

Meanwhile, any sensor worth it's credits at Starbase 601 would detect a hyperspace flash, as the fleet reverts to realspace and moves in to help defend the base.

*Meanwhile, the PSS Ash continues to mine and refine. Cloning goes on, and production of various warships comences. The entire mothership is on full alert - any sign of enemy ships, and the mothership will vanish to a new system.*

The Commodore then boarded a Lamda shuttle with some guards, and had his pilot head over to the Starbase.

The starbace opend up one of its shuttle bays to alwo entry for the shuttle wile a group of officers waiteid in the bay for them.

The shuttle flies into the shuttlebay, and lands. The Commodore walks out and greets the officers.

The fleet gains speed and enters the belt.

"They're pursuing an enemy fleet in the asteroid belt, and require assistance to flush them out."

"All right. I want...Red, Blue and Green (X-wing, Y-wing, E-wing) to deploy and harrass any fighters that are in the belt. Acclaimators, Lightning and Tsunami are to follow up and make sure that the enemy is boxed in. Make sure the Commodore knows about this."

"Aye, aye. I'll send the orders."

Klaxons rang, as the crew ran to battle stations. The Acclaimators moved for the asteroid field, and blasted any rocks out of the way, while the fighters dove in on a search and destroy mission.

"Hmm." The commodore said, as his datapad beeped. "Seems that my fleet is getting some action today. Anyway, I'm sure that with our fleets together, we can defeat the enemies, and win this war."

"Looks like CoreWorlds got our messege sir. They have launched fighters."

"Good. Tell them to form up with our fighters. They should go in together. Tactical. Launch the Thermonuclear mines into the astroidbelt."

Moments later, the mines where launched into the asteroid belt. When they reached the heart of the belt, they detonated.

Everyone has safety shades on as the thermonuke mines detonate, and a flash like nearby suns light up the dark. The flash clears, and it isn't known yet how much of the enemy fleet has survived.

Meanwhile, the fighters have met up with Corneliu's fighters, and a signal is all it takes for all to go down and attack.

"Sir all forces are in position."

"Good! How many survived the Thermo Mine explosion?"

"I don't know sir. Though are sensors arent affected they could be in so deep that we just don't know how many survived. Shall we go deeper into the belt or wait."

"Order the fighters in on Recon duty. They are to report any fleet activity. I want to know where they are."

*The drone left hyperspace, and entered the asteroid belt. It detected several large explosions at the edge of the belt. It sent this information back the the PSS Ash, and continued to scan for enemy vessels.*

"Sir our fighters have detected something inside the belt."

"Good! Have them move in carefully. I want them to search for that thing. Do you know what it is yet?"

"Negative Admiral. We can't get a fix on it."

"Ok dispatch Eagle Squadron to check it out."

The fleet enters the belt with the fighters at the point.

Command Knight 1! Command Knight 1! We have the anomoly on screen. It appears to be a probe of some kind.

"Head towards it. If it flees follow it. I want to know where these things came from so we can hunt it down and destroy it. We're at war with them because of their attack on Fedral Union and now its time they pay the piper."

The fighters move in towards the probe as the fleet head paralell to its position.

"Sir what if that thing leads us to there fleet?"

"Then we destroy the fleet Lieutenant. Unless they surrender, we fight until they do. Clear?"

"Yes sir. Sir we have something else. It looks like a ship at the edge of the system. It appears to be mining."

"Time for some action. Move the fleet towards them."

The Corneliuan Naval fleet heads towards their target.

The fighters started pursuing the probe along with Corneliu's fleet, followed up by the larger ships, destroying asteroids in their path.

Meanwhile, Lt. Foryd was finishing his meal when he realized that he had to get the information about the enemy mothership to the Council. He thanked the waiter, and headed for his X-wing, refueled and ready to go.

"You ready, Rocks?"

<Yeah! Let's go!> the droid beeped affirmatively.

"All right!" The lieutenant hopped into his fighter, closed the cockpit, and started up the repulsarlifts. After getting clearance from the flight manager, he flew out of the open dock, and engaged his sublight engines. Just in case of Phoenixius interference, he also locked his S-foils into attack position.

Meanwhile, the Commodore thanked the Admiral of the Starbase for his hospitality, but he told him he had to return to the fleet, as this is getting interesting. They shook hands, and the Commodore walked to his shuttle, where his pilots and guards were waiting. He strapped in, and the shuttle started up, went out of the hangar. and headed towards the fleet.

OOC: BY the way, the mothership is not in the same system as the asteroid belt - the various ships that were hidding there, fled ages ago, and met up with the mothership. Hence, you cannot see it mining, Corneliu.

"Hurry up then!" The fighter then dodged a close bolt. "Jeez, that was close!"

The X-wing dodged left and right, as torpedoes and pulse guns tried to shoot it down. The shields were battered, and it was only a matter of a couple more hits before the ship was destroyed.

"Tatatata ta ta!" Rocks trumpeted in victory as he finished the calculations.

"All right! Let's get the hell out of here!" The pilot pushed the hyperspace lever, the stars streaked out, and the fighter disappeared with a flash as it jumped into hyperspace.

"Nothing is out here except the probe here." Blue 5 said.
"Mmm, let's just take it out then." Red Leader replied, as he opened fire on the probe with his lasers.

"Sir! It looks like CoreWorlds fighters are going to destroy that probe."

"I want that probe intact. Tell them not to destroy it. It might lead to some useful information about where these guys come from."

Meanwhile, the fleet sends out a cloud of probe droids to search for enemy movement. Each droid has a myraid of sensors, a hyperdrive pod, and a relatively weak laser cannon for defense. The driods then part, and headed to various systems to search for the alleged mothership.

Requim is one of the Star Cruisers. As she continued to fight off enemy drones with her powerful turbolasers, one Nebulon-B, two corvettes and starfighters, the rest of the fleet hyperspaced as fast as they could for Starbase 601, after recalling the TIEs.

*The PSS Wraith eases out of its berth in the PSS Ash. Captain Elysia had done her job well. She informed the Phoenixius Council, the REAL Phoenixius Council about these rebels, and they had managed to send a message accross the galaxy to the current hostile nations. Now she was going to try and talk to the TA fleet, and initiate any diplomatic relations she could. Initiating stealth fields and rasing shields, they sailed into the middle of the warzone.*

*Several explosions wracked the PSS Ash. The various compleated and unfinished warships were being sent to repel the enemy forces. How they managed to find them so quickly was beyond them. Several shields were down, and large chunks of the mothership were folatiing in space.*

"This is the PSS Wraith calling all TA ships. We have come to discuss relations with you. Destroy the PSS Ash if you must - we have no concern with her any more."

All Terran ships target the Ash and fire a volly of thosands of torpdos and beams of high engery Type XV and XX phasers.

"Hmm. Keep firing on the Ash, and make sure the Wraith is protected." The Admiral ordered.

Y-wings and B-wings, aided by X-wings made bombing runs upon the warships and the Ash was hit by volley after volley of turbolaser fire from the Destroyers and Cruisers. Interdictors, on the edge of the battle, powered up their gravity wells to prevent the Ash from escaping.

*The PSS Ash begins to break up under the enormous strain its being put under. Various rebel ships launch and begin to attack various enemy ships. The PSS Ash begins to fire at SB 601.*

The fleet continues pouring turbolasersv and missiles into the Ash. All the fighters were launched at this point to deal with the enemy ships that were launched from the mothership. Proton torpedoes and concussion missiles, with the power of multimegaton nukes, poured into the warships. Several fighters lost their lives as a consequence.

"Admiral, the rebel ship is beginning to break up and various other ships are attacking our allies."

OOC: CorpSac - I can't remember where you left, so here it is from a certain point. Sorry if you already know some of this.

The Phoenixius fleet takes heavy losses and sends a small fleet from the main one before it is destroyed. These ship enter an asteroid belt. From there they quickly move to join up with the Phoenixius mother ship, the PSS Ash. They move on to another system, where the mothership begins mining and reconstruction of fleets. CoreWorld, TA and Corneliu ships gather and chase the retreating Phoenixius fleet. AFter hunting them down, the mothership attacks SB 601. The real Phoenixius Council (on the other side of the galaxy) send a message saying that the mothership is rebelling, and the Phoenixius Council cannot take anything for the damage the fleet has done. They ask for negotiations to begin, and tell the allies to destroy the PSS Ash. This is where we are now.


*The PSS Ash crumbles into smaller bits every minute. Various systems failing, personnel flying into space as their sections are blown away. Everntually the mothership collapses under the combined firepower of several hundred ships. The smaller warships remain, retreating into the depths of space once they see their mothership destroyed.*

In the heat of battle, a stray torpedo hit the nearby colony of Norvina and blew out part of it. Several hundred children and adults of various ages were killed by the explosion and sebsequent rapid decompression that vented nearly 16% of the atmosphere. A distress call was sent out on all channels, as there were many hundreds of other people injured.

The call was detected by the Reliance ISD battle group, and the ships performed a microjump into the system. Upon seeing the striken colony, and the battle nearby, the ISDII began ordering hospital ships and additional forces into the area.

He opened a secure channel to the fleet. "Initiate Operation Benedict!"

A Star Destroyer, the aptly named Traitor lumbers into the war zone.

"All right. Our orders are clear. Target the flagship of the TFU fleet here with the dorsal turrets. Aim for the warp cores."
The dorsal turrets are the most powerful turbolasers on a Star Destroyer. While slow to track fighters, they can destroy much smaller craft in a few shots.

Thick green turbolaser bolts, with hundreds of gigawatts of deadly energy each, lanced out at the flagship of the Fedral Union's fleet in the area.
The other Star Destroyers in the area followed up with massive turbolaser strikes at the now enemy TFU fleet. Fighters were held back to defend the ships.

IC: Two fleets of the Kor'vattra, deployed almost two days ago from Tau space to assist in any possible war, finally come out of warp dive on the outskirts of the engagement.

Communications with Sa'Cea and all other planets in the Tau Empire seem to be either jammed or blocked by natural events. The commanders of the two fleets are on their own in the battle. They meet on board the Sa'Cea Gal'Leath Mont'Ka to discuss their plans.

"Kor'el, we must attack now. Fedral Union gue'la have attacked a civilian target, causing unknown casualties. They flatly refuse to offer any form of apology, and have refused to leave CoreWorlds space. Now is the time to strike, and to show them we do not deal with murderers" said Kor'O Mont'Ka.

"I agree Kor'O. For the Greater Good" said Kor'el Vior'la, before rising from the table, and heading quickly to his transport waiting in one of the starboard launch bays.

Two squadrons of the new Kir'la gunship, outfitted with three ion cannon each, all begin to circle around behind the Fedral Union reinforcements, in an attempt to cut them off. Each ship is running on minimal sensors, making them difficult to detect until they lock onto their targets.

OOC: I acknowledge what you say, corpsac, i am not defending TFU, but the warp he uses is fairly instantaneous.. but yes i see, and i also acknowledge coreworlds next attack as fair, because as allies he may of had ships within TFU territory, or sent them near to places of imporatance before this event of war.
