Sorry for the delay i totally missed this post...

Kormanthor :
1million units over that time scale would be extremely improbable even for a colation of nations.
We would be happy to authorise a deal for 10,000units per nation over 10 years however (so if you have 100nations then the 1million figure would be possible).
First you have to establish how many you wish to produce (feel free to grossly over estiamte that). you are free to produce as many as you want upto the number you stated earlier. (QUOTE)
OCC: You said to feel free to GROSSLY over estimate the number that we
wish to produce so I did just that. We will start with 10,000 for Kormanthor &
10,000 for VirginIncursion. We must contact the other nations of our
group and get back to you.

Certainly, it beats designing my own tanks :D

OOC: there is a gross over estiamtation and then there is gross over estiamtation, personally we consider 10,000 units as being more than anyone could possible ever use.
IC: for the moment the initial contracts of 10,000 units each for yourself and VirginIncursion have premilinary approval.

Your 10,000unit license is porvisionally approved.

"The Empire has taken interest in this Main Battle Tank. We would like to know if you can please answer the following questions.
1)What's the speed of the vehicale cross country, and the speed on paved roads?
2)Which rounds won't penetrate the turret, front sides, and rear?
(Use the highest round calibre that won't penetrate, for example a 135mm ETC won't penetrate the turret, a 125mm won't penetrate the front, a 105mm won't penetrate the sides, and a 20mm won't penetrate the sides.)
3)What are some drawbacks to the design?
(Break downs often, noisy, takes a lot of oil, not manueverable)
4)How fast will the turret be able to turn a full 320 degrees?
5)Can the tank operate similiar to a M1A2
(Basically does it have similar charateristics to the M1A2. Like manueverability, and all. Although I know this one has a much bigger main gun)
6)What's the total range of the main cannon?
(That's firing a standard round, not a missile)
We eagerly await your reponse"
OOC:What tech level is the tank?
You can TG me the answers if you want.

"The Empire has taken interest in this Main Battle Tank. We would like to know if you can please answer the following questions.
1)What's the speed of the vehicale cross country, and the speed on paved roads?
The quoted 70km/h is the on road speed (44mph), off road speed would be in the region of 50km/h (31mph)
The front galcis plate (part of the hull, geenrally the most heavily armored part of a tank) the protection is sucifent to defeat the vast majority of conventional guns, ETCs are difficult as they offer a wide variety of styles but we could be looking at stopping msot ETC system in the 120-130mm rnage. The turret armour would be roughly the same a glacis. Side and rear armour is protected against 120mm NATO ammo (it might be a bit higher), rear armour should stop a basic 76mm AP round but agaisnt APFSDS ammo I wouldn't rate it higher than 40mm
3)What are some drawbacks to the design?
(Break downs often, noisy, takes a lot of oil, not manueverable)
When running on the turbine it does get very hot making infantry operation porblematical and giving a slightly higher than normal IR signature (although it does have counter measures to lessen it). The simple fact is that the power pack (engine and electrics) are not repairable in the feild, hence the modular quick change nature of the systems to allow the entire bolck to be repalced and the power pack repaired behind the lines. Crew work load is a bit of an issue as even with all the top class aides the crew simply have more to do than a normal tank crew. The Work load level is still below that of a fighter or helicopter crew and can be ahndled by decently trained crew but it could still be an issue. Finally it's quite heavy you would need to invest in new bridges and transports to make full use of it.
4)How fast will the turret be able to turn a full 320 degrees?
With a slew rate of 43 degrees a second a full rotation would take 8.4secs
5)Can the tank operate similiar to a M1A2
(Basically does it have similar charateristics to the M1A2. Like manueverability, and all. Although I know this one has a much bigger main gun)
Yes and no. On an open feild it is only slightly slower and much better armed and armoured, the high weight does limit it's deployability but providing you can live with that it can operate acording to most western tank doctrines.
6)What's the total range of the main cannon?
(That's firing a standard round, not a missile)
A quick estiamte would put it around 8km for the efective rnage with the round remaining dangerous well beyond that even upto 12km, this is using the stndard SABOT round. Using BLOS (beyond line of sight) rounds the rnage is in the 20-25km region.
OOC: the tech level is modern to 2015 or there abouts, the gun being the only bit to put it beyond pure 2004 capability.

"Thank you for answering our questions. After review our government wishes to purchase production rights for 20,000 units. We calculate this to cost to be 170 Billion. We will be building 1,000 units per year making the unit production complete in 20 years. Funds will be wired once order is confirmed. Thank you."

Many thanks for selecting the T-7 Gilgamesh.
Your license application has been approved, a team of engineers and production specialists will be dispatched forwith to aide you in making preperations for producing the T-7
OOC: there isn't actually an up front price for the license but you should assume that you are paying a small fee on each unit procured and take that into cosnideration in your budgets, i unfortunatly don't have exact production and license costsing but assume its a bit cheaper than buying them.
Kormanthor and Starblaydia after review your licenses are now fully approved.
