(OOC: no, we have some old ships you can have)
Kurai Nami
29-10-2003, 21:55
OOC: Well that was the original agreement, your first phage type person said something about helping my people fix them up for mining purposes

Phage: "We have a few ships that we could retrofit for you, yes. We will bring them with the next ship that comes to your system."
Kurai Nami
01-11-2003, 23:40
We'll accept them with gratitude *Herene bows her head, then gestures to a seat* please, we'd like to.. *before she can continue an officer runs up and whispers in her ear. He face goes ridgid, then she nods. And the officer run away to a waiting half track*
I'm sorry for the interuption, but it seems a few soldiers from the near by army camp has deserted with their weapons. We can at the moment not account for their where abouts, is there anything more Phage you wish to speak of?. If not then we must ask you to return to your ship, i feel we can not guarantee your safety *she smiles nervously*. We will have a list for you soon, of those that has expressed intrest in your world

Phage: "I do not fear for my safety, I am most likely able to handle anything these deserters may attack me with, however I appreciate your looking out for my safety. I can get my craft in the air, searching for these deserters if you would send someone who could tell me their whereabouts along with me."
Kurai Nami
05-11-2003, 12:54
*Herene frownd for a moment*
It would not be right to ask this of you, as you are a diplomat. But on the other hand your craft would be a welcome help, *she turnd to look at the rest. And as she saw no protest, she turnd back and nodded at the Phage*
Very well, this can be used as a good way to try and locate the deserters.
*Snapping her fingers one of the hangar guards stepped up*
the Lt here will go with you, take the route over the capital. As others have begun the search to the west over the jungle, if they are spotted do not fire. It would'nt be well since you are a diplomat..
Blademasters
06-11-2003, 02:50
Phage: "Of course I would not open fire. Lieutenant, if you would follow me, we can get started. Who shall I signal once we have located them?"
The small Archangel class dropship out on the landing strip powers up, and its thrusters flare to life, and settle down to a lower power, the ramp extends from the rear of the craft
Kurai Nami
06-11-2003, 21:25
*The Lieutenant follows the Phage into the ship, while the others follow Herene to the control tower. The Lieutenant looks around the Blademasters craft rather amazed*
There is'nt much hope in catching them, as they had help. One of their comrades helped to cover their tracks, we just hope he will speak under interrogation
Blademasters
08-11-2003, 15:52
The small ship lifts from the ground, with the slightest tremor, and the rear hatch and landing gear retract
Phage: "do we have an area where we could start the search? our sensors can detect human lifesigns"
Kurai Nami
09-11-2003, 12:47
Then your sensors will not do much here, there has been an explosion of new settlers. Fly over the city and towards the crater lake *the Lt unfolded a map holding it up*, that is the route i would take. That area is a nature preserv, so the jungle canopy covers the trails.
If they even whent this way, they could have just gone in a totally different direction.
((Translated your human life signs in to humanoid :D ))
Blademasters
10-11-2003, 01:32
(OOC: yeah, but we've never encountered any species other than humans)
Phage: "hmm, that could make it harder."
Phage reviews the map, and then banks the dropship to the left in a 75-degree turn, almost spinning it in mid air, and tehn accelerating to maximum speed, slightly under 12,000 kph
Kurai Nami
10-11-2003, 13:46
*The Lt grabs hold for to not fall over as the craft turns*
There are a few options on our path, the radioactive storage, a lumber mill and an old mining town. How ever i think there are some construction going on by the old mine.
Blademasters
10-11-2003, 16:40
Phage: "okay. where can we expect concentrations of your species, so that we can investigate unintended concentrations?"
Kurai Nami
10-11-2003, 23:51
*The Lt frownd a bit, biting the lower lip*
Maby if we fly this path *drawing a line that whent between map coordinates. Then adding circles to the map* this might be right. Until we can get the intel from the interrogation of their friend..

Kurai Nami
14-11-2003, 19:19
*The Lt tries to see anything down on the ground, but trees cover anything below them.*
Is there anyway we can get lower?, *muttering tom himself that he should have brought a few more men with him*
Blademasters
15-11-2003, 00:29
Phage: "we can go lower, this ship should be able to withstand their weapons fire"
The Dropship drops lower, until it is barely skimming the trees. Three figures are seen running through the trees, one of them looks up, and panics. they stop and pull out weapons, and begin to fire on the dropship
Phage: "I think we have our men, I can land to get them if you want"
suddenly one of the plasma thrusters, being hammered by weapons fire gives out, and the ship drops below the treeline, to rise again a second later, leaving a gash through the trees
Kurai Nami
18-11-2003, 12:20
((OKI where did you get an advance copy of the script??))
*The Lt looses his balance and falls to the deck, cursing wildly. And almosts asks the Phage to return fire*
How bad is the damage?, there is a ranger base two miles from here. If you can make it there swift action can be taken against the men. The base is'nt on any maps but i know the way..
Blademasters

(OOC: picked it up off your desk, where else? BTW, look into my Operation: Phoenix Dawn thread, I'm moving my fleet to your system)
Phage: "I was simply unprepared to take enemy fire, however there is a chance this may be a party looking for them, and they were suprised by our arrival, we have suffered minimal damage, and a 15% reduction in operating capacity. I suggest you strap in."
The lieutenent straps in just as the dropship rockets forward
Phage: "Okay, I'm going to need directions..."
Kurai Nami
20-11-2003, 14:53
((*Mumble, mumble* I better hide my stuff better, i don't want you finding the script to Extingsion of the Blad..... Err for get that :D. I read the phoenix stuff BTW, post arrival and i'll meet up with ships ))
Turn south west and fly toward the ridge, then fly along the ridge for 5 miles. Stop then and i'll send the nessesary ident so we can be admitted,
*The Lt looked at the flashing lights that indicated the state of the damage engine, hopefully Blademasters knew how to build durable craft. He did'nt fancy a crash in the jungle*
Blademasters
22-11-2003, 02:30
The Dropship banked hard to the left, although noticeably more sluggishly than before, and as the maneuver was completed, a small light began to flash, and then the dropship dropped to the side, its other engines straining to pick it back up into level flight.
Phage: "There is a 54% cahnce we will make it to the base, I am calling a second dropship to follow us so that we can transfer to a fully functional one"
the blinking light sudenly went out, along with every light in the cabin and outside, and the hum of the plasma thrusters suddenyl stopped. Throughout the whole ordeal, Phage had seemed to be completely under control, keeping her cool, as an AI would be expected to do. but now, her emotions were shown
Phage: "Oh hell"
The dropship slammed into the trees, its hull splitting trees, and finally, the wings sheared from the craft and the fuselage was battered to the ground.
(OOC: wanted to add some interesting stuff... hehe)

((Demmit! stay away from my desk  ))
*It's funny the things you notice, when your in a life threatening situation.
The Lt clearly heard the Phage express an emotion, which was something they should'nt be able to do. But the suprise got lost in all the commotion as they plowed thru the three tops, and came to a bone rattleling stop.
The Lt must have blacked out cause the next moment, he felt the pain in his shoulders where the straps had held him back against the seat*
Anyone alive? *he croaked, and tried to see thru the glum light and the occasional spark, from some broken consol*..

(OOC: been on hiatus, hit a billion while I was away)
Phage had been thrown through the armored hull of the dropship, and was now lying on the ground about 50 meters ahead of the ship, after plowing through a tree. The second dropship descended to the area of the crash, and four heavily armed Blademasterian marines disembarked, securing the area and getting the Lieutenant out of the burning craft. Seconds later, the fusion reactor in the dropship went critical, and the explosion that followed threw the small craft into the air, above the treetops to come flaming down again, now just flaming wreckage.

01-12-2003, 13:29
((Did it hurt??))
*The Lt gasped and coverd his head when the ship whent up like a small sun, he had'nt seen such and explosion since the FTL center whent up in flames. For a breif moment he also thought about the paper work involved in this, then he watched the flames for a bit. Before loking after the phage that had been the pilot*
Has anyone seen the phage?
Blademasters
06-12-2003, 16:13
(OOC: what, hitting a billion? naw)
Phage raised itself, and began to stagger towards the waiting team of marines
Kurai Nami
13-12-2003, 11:05
*The Lt looked at the Phage*
You look damaged, perhaps it's best we call of this search. And get to the ranger base as quickly as possible, i must apologize i had no idea they where that heavily armed. It seems i must call back into base and tell them to do an inventory at the armory..
