OOC: A question for me? I am fairly familiar with ETC but I haven't heard of "quad charge projectile". Perhaps it has another name and I've just never heard it called that. Regardless I am wondering how you came up with those stats. I've never heard of such high armor penetration figures (even with ETC). I'm assuming this is in eRHA.
The russians have a triple charge HEAT shell, which when fired from approx. 2km can go though 900mm of RHA when just fired from their relatively old, normal 125mm cannons. I just took the concept, added the ETC factor and added an extra charge...

HEAT is a warhead designed to defeat specific targets. Trouble is they have ERA and NERA. That's what the triple warhead is for. Defeating succesive layers of ERA. NERA will likely have improved quality against so many warheads. MEXAS and ENIGMA would do well. Triple HEAT warheads shouldn't improve the quality of the projectile against targets without ERA. This is because the triple warheads are designed to defeat succesive waves of counter explosions of ERA. Against simple RHA the two additional warheads would likely not do much. And your penetration figures explode as the calibre becomes greater. They hit the roof. An increase in calibre by that much would increase the kinetic energy quite a bit. The kinetic energy might not be that good against specific armors. Those that use the projectile's kinetic energy against it. IE: Wipple shields and Chobham/Burlington. There is no such thing as eRHA in reality. And kinetic energy is not all that determines penetration. A thinner projectile would be more effective than a thicker one of the same weight (flag this last word). Penetration is a lot of guesswork and guesswork is wrong in accurate simulations of military systems (for roleplay). That's my two cents. This is simply my advice. You not post penetration figures for your weapons. Its just to sketchy. The buyer knows (or at least assumes) that bigger guns are better so that's enough to sell products. They don't need figures.
