i have a last order. im gonna send an extra ship youre way to pay for it right now. i want to order an avatar heavy cruiser.
hey, do you mind if i try to figure out a few of the weapon systems? i want to see if i can figure out how to make ion cannons. if i can install them into ground based turret systems ill have the perfect anti air weapon. if i can make it turn fast enough ill be abe to take out entire wings of enemy ships before it overheats and i have to wiat for it to cool down again to fire. or of course i could put some extra cash on the last ship and you can sell me the specs for the ion cannons. :wink:

I sell the ship but you'll have to figure out how to build your own cannnons as well as how to keep it cooland focused in an atmosphere.

i already know how to keep it cool and focused. ill use the stuff used to cool nuclear reactors in excessive amounts to cool it. as for focused, ill use a large diamond. our country focuses on military and mining a lot. we dont have much in the way of gold in our nations soil but we do on the other hand have huge diamond deposits. they can be used to focus the cannon very easily. woohoo! my region happens to be built very high up so air superiority is very important.

well, the current colling system idea is better than my lsat one. my last idea was just to dump it in a pile of ice cubes, order to fire on a 10 second delay and run like hell before it fires and hope it doesnt overheat enough to fry me. and yes, im gonna focus it. although considering how powerful it is i could probably leave it unfocused and still tear through my enemys. wait, i have an idea! instead of firing a steady stream which will heat it up too much, ill have it fire in pulses so it will still have the same firepower, just in smaller quantitys. and think of the mining implications of this thing :P

Well in that case you may want to look in to the Somtaaw "Dervish" Multi-Beam Frigate

Development of the helix bundle, which allows charged streams to be accelerated in a tightly curved configuration.

The Dervish class frigate is built around just such an accelerator helix, and uses a multi-path beam-splitter to direct the charged ion stream to any or all of its five focusing turrets. The turrets themselves are solid state devices that use magnetic fields to focus and direct the ion beam in a large firing arc. I know youve stopped orders, but is there any other way to buy a few ships from you? those dervishes sound pretty good for mining. my region basically has an asteroid heading right at it but since the thing is full of valuable metals and minerals were hoping to mine it to such a point that there is nothing left but dust. could you maybe sell me the plans for the lasers? or could you direct me to another thread where i can buy them?

If you want to redirect the astroide a few "Minion" Heavy tugs should do the job, iw you want to hallo out the astroide the Hig Resorce collecters are quite good at that due to ther small size you could park the astroide some where and set it up as a colony dor your people. There quite usefull that way give them a slight spin and, bingo gravity. In fact 40% of my people live in them.

if you want to there is no require ment to do so, they just are small enough to work alot closer to them then other comptrolers. All orders will be filed as the room for them opens up.

id like to order a single mining command ship and 40hiigaran resource collectors. id also like to order 20 heavy tugs. am i right in saying that they have a small mining laser attached to them? if you are removing them then ill still take the tugs, but could you change the space where the laser was into extra thruster?. by the way, what exactly DOES a mobile refinery do? does it basically do the same job as the hiigaran ore proccesor? if so is it better armed then the proccesor. if it is ill be ordering 5 of them.

The command ship will be quite some time coming, were tring to excelarte production by building them in parts in the smallere bays and them hooking them together. The tugs do have a mining laser. extra thresters are included on the port and starbord sides of the ram. the Mobile refirenry is just like the othere two ore processesing craft, there difrence is in there size and armorments. The Somtaa version has the best weapons systems and many many crew comforts and is also the largest of the 3 best used where return trips to a command ship are not possable think of it as a miny command craft. The Kushian craft is like the misrange model good all round craft, no weapons but a few fighter docks. The Hiig design is ment to operate in close space areas where the other two craft would run in to things or if your government dose't have the money to support the bigger craft.

It dosent come with the plans for any ships it's role is just as it is stated it builds things it's abought twice the size of a Hiig carrier. It could make just abought any thing you have the plans for enough Materieals for and as long as it fit's in side the bay.

Ore is it too in eficent to make small crafts with it, to make it worth the efort?
If it can only make a small number of crafts at the same time, then it wuld be better to consentrate on somthing big.

You can bame small craft with it but because the ship is setup as a large single slot bay it can make them only one at at time. The second construction uses 3 of them to set up habatats stations and such.

Hmm, this vessel is not supposed to go into combat, but I think precaution always turns out for the best. So yes, we would like a full complement of repair bots for the ships.

Modfacations are being made as we transmit this message.

Most of the craft do have a weapons system capable of holding off fightercraft only a fool would send an unarmed craft out in this day and age. We find that there is a large aftermarket weapons uprgading program to add too and improve most of our crafts guns shold you not find the weapons powerfulenough feel free seek it out.
