Lol, I apparently didn't pay enough attention to that one. Andrasas was the die hard commie. Fairly entertaining.

I'd have to go with the Choose Wisely thread...the first night it existed atleast. I'd also go with the response to Zooke's death...demonstrated that for as much as we fight and want to kill each other, there is at least one thing we can all come together for. That's probably the number one reason I stuck around for so long. I loved LG's cheese hijack (and, iirc, I was actually late to class because I was having fun looking for pictures of cheese-related things). Sexiest NSer was always fun, as well as PM's white text.

Just went back and looked at the Zooke thread. It was special.

I had forgotten about The Plutonian Empire making a planet for her. That was so sweet. It's still up http://www.freewebs.com/theplutonianempire/Zooke.png

and Fass going to a church to light a candle and Keruvalia having trees planted in her name .. and on and on .. a very touching thread.

I've actually unintentionally made some good friends in spite of NSG.

I read that and I wish I had met Zooke. She was, for what I read, a well liked poster and a dear person. I hope she's resting in peace.

One of my favorites, as well. The election season was fun, in general. Even people who agree on the gneral subject could argue about various bits of the electoral outcome. Practically the perfect thing to argue about.
