Too carby. Summer season is upon us and thus shirtless exposure. Competition on Swedish beaches when it comes to having a desirable physique is murder, I'll tell you, and pasta is the devil in that respect.
Since we were talking briefly about anime, you do remind me a bit of Yumichika. o_o
Anyways. I think we're babbling.

Tell her to reject it. :D

Lasagna with leek.... sounds... interesting...
It actually works quite well.

The discussion is about events that occurred in the United States.
Not the one we were having, which was about kinds of mustard. You assumed for some strange reason that "regular, yellow mustard" would mean "USA mustard" to me. Culpa tua maxima.

Perhaps you should discuss this with whoever it was that said: "Dijon is "fancy" in the USA? How parochial."
Clearly, the topic must have been concerning both dijon, and the USA, as that wise philosopher obviously knew.

It will erode your will, until you are but a shell of your former self, constantly watching her spinning the leek in a loop.
I am doomed by it. And now so are you...
I am Swedish. Finnish things, if one can regard this as such and for the effect it has one can, are as per history innocuous to me. If I were Russian, on the other hand...

Nope. You were seemingly referring to "USA mustard". Which, while yellow, isn't very regular (and barely mustard...). At least not here. Or internationally. I should hope.
It is down these areas along with many other types of mustard, personally I prefer a sweet grain mustard but that is my personal taste, hard to find though a shipment from Germany only comes in once every two months.
When I was in the UK, the sweet yellow mustard was also fairly regular.

Actually to be fair the Boten Anna song isn't so bad with Sweidish lyrics, I've only ever heard it with those horrible English ones they used so the chavs in the UK would buy it.

That's 'cause you don't understand them. They're about an IRC bot. Called Anna. Who can ban you, ban you so hard. And keep the channel clean. But she's not really a bot, you see. She's a girl. And so, not real on the interwebs anyway. Some metaphysical shit, right there.

Hmmm. Well at least the rhythm of the vocals seem to fit better.

Only on NSG can a discussion about the GOP attacking Obama based on mustard turn into one about Scandinavian song lyrics.

It's maybe worth pointing out that the last two sentences of that response were extrapolation, not content.
I've always read it as being simple denial - the protagonist has a geeky infatuation with the bot, and has no interest in her if she's 'real'. So he simply denies that reality.

That's insane. Well, it would be. But it seems pretty well par for the course for the modern Republican Party. Go figure.

It was never a thread about the GOP attacking Obama.....you made that up.
turn into one about Scandinavian song lyrics.
Understandable threadjack?
That's not what the discussion was about at that point. Nice try, but you fail on reading comprehension.
You, too. But also on writing, especially on an international forum while conversing with someone who isn't from the USA.
Turns out I didn't know who the OP was for this thread after all.
