sure, where do you want it?

I cannot come up with an answer to this question that is not horribly dirty.

I think the internet has completely corrupted me. :p

...well then.

I missed the inauguration because of work, but once I left I listened to NPR all the way up to college and have been watching CNN while waiting for my night class to start.

It's a bit much, but I welcome just about any excuse for a celebration.

I went. It was awesome. I'm proud to be an American, for the first time in a very long time.

(It is a passing affliction, I think.)

Hey that's what I said too. I imagine it was an overestimation, but still, that they could justify even guessing such a huge number...

All of my family did - on three different sets. (in three different locations!)

I say I count for 250 million.

It was broadcast over my school's loudspeakers, and I was fortunate enough to take my class to the auditorium where we watched it streamed live from the web.

The only time the students got rowdy was every time Bush appeared on screen -- and they booed, despite the best efforts of the principal to impress on them that was not mature behavior.

My school has 4000 students in it.

Considering many children have guns now, booing is a kind of restraint.

Yeah, they weren't bad, really. And they stopped as soon as the camera turned away from him.

Facelift and a new wardrobe wouldn't go amiss, troglodyte that she is.

She really is. Abominably poorly looking woman; the ugly tree should be damn proud, and frankly, I feel nauseous whenever she and his wonderfulness bash fists instead of shaking hands.

Interesting. Most people seem to think she's quite attractive - she's no movie star, obviously, but she's a nice-looking women. Somehow, though, I am not shocked that you think otherwise.

These would be the "most people" whose tastes we have to blame for reality television and the dumbing down of politics into little more than a public relations exercise. Their opinions are of no concern.

I laugh at your excessively grammatical, stilted style of writing. Attempting to make yourself appear more intelligent than you actually are, eh? Pity the content doesn't back up this persona.

I can only hope you'll deign to respond, but given that her appointed role amounts to looking pretty, passing canapes to foreign leaders and saying nothing controversial, surely her looks are relevant. Also, she is ugly; especially compared to either Carla Bruni, or Rachida Dati.

I guess that makes sense, but I don't think many foreign leaders necessarily have their pick of the crop. So while Michelle Obama might not be the best looking woman in the world, she might be a black goddess (look at that ass!) to a Saudi prince. And besides, have you seen some of the former First Ladies? Dayum! Clearly looks aren't a requirement.

But, crucially, previous first ladies haven't been held up as beauties they manifeslty are not. Michelle Obama has, and frankly, she's barely better looking than Cherie Blair.

Has she been "held up as a beauty"? I've heard people say she looks like a horse, not so much the exact opposite.

Might be a British phenomenon; regularly we're told how Michelle Obama is an American style icon and a model of beauty.

Then you were told wrong. That has not been happening in the US. Her looks have not been commented upon except to say that she's okay-looking and one morning's promotional mention of the designers who made her clothes for the inaugural events. Another Jackie Kennedy she is not.

But hey, cling to your bizarre media-gossip if it gives you a good excuse to go on and on about how ugly another person is. It's a deep argument that I'm sure needs to be made.

IF she was an armadillo i wouldn't care any less about her looks.
