How annoying is it that a yankee (moi) uses it all the time?As long as it isn't in my presence, how am I to know about it/hear it? ;)

Well, I just told you about it, and I suppose I could record a sample of me saying it and post it...

Well, I expect it's the Belfast accent since the people I know and have heard most come from around there.
Aye. That said don't believe N.Irish people when they tell you they live near Belfast. Its partly a convience thing (the only place most people have heard of from N.Irleand is Belfast). I was talking to a lad and he said that he knew someone who live near Belfast and when I asked him where specifically he lived, he told me Derry.
Derry is pretty much on the other side of the country to Belfast.

While this isn't true for the people I know, I do know what you mean. I often have to say I'm from 'near London', otherwise people will have no idea where I'm talking about.
