I think the thread has gone off topic because everyone has seen just how absurd any opposition to the statement "Palin is a corrupt civil-rights murdering dog-face who should not be let anywhere near a position of power, and probably shouldn't have even been allowed to have kids" is. No sane, intelligent person could ever really support Palin, if they knew the whole story, as Balderdash has clearly been educated to. He has seen over the past pages of this thread, his dream candidate get smashed down, and through his omnipotent pride, he cannot admit he was wrong about her, so he will stubbornly defend her despite knowing full well that she should not be president. And come election day, we all know Balderdash will be secretely voting for Obama, because he knows it's what's right. After what's been discussed on this forum, no one of intellect could vote for Palin or McCain.

So, whilst we sit back and vocally mock Balderdash for his stubborn "argue 'til the death" debating throughout this thread, we can sit back proudly knowing that he will be voting for Obama in November, though he would never admit it to us.

The insult was just a generalisation of the opinions expressed. However, the reasons given to dislike her are all legitimate, moreso than your reasons for liking her, we just top them off with a fun little insult. They make us feel better about the horrid situation.

But I don't think civil rights murderer is so much an insult as it is an observation of Palin's beliefs/views and what she would do given power enough to enact them. Corrupt is also quite a fair comment to make, given the evidence we've seen. Dog-face was my personal touch. Did you like it? And topping it off was the comment that she should not be let anywhere near a position of power. This is not an insult, it is a statement of opinion, supported by FACT. Something your arguments seem to have lacked and avoided throughout this thread.

In fact, in all of what I said, the only insult I made to Palin was the dog face comment, which I still stand by, as I have seen many canines with similiar facial structures/expressions to her in the thankfully limited images I have seen of her. Was it a necessary observation to comment on? Probably not. But that doesn't mean I'm not allowed to.

As for the "virgin turned out whore" comment. That was an analogy, not an insult. A similiar analogy would be a nice shiney red apple being rotten on the inside. He wasn't calling her a whore, just drawing an analogy. But if you don't understand the concept, that's okay, I wouldn't expect you to.

Batshit insane was also justified, so I'm not going to rejustify it. But I'm not surprised you missed that, you do seem to have very selective reading.

The other comments you quoted as "insults" were not insults, but observations and comments on those observations.
