I don't, as a general rule. But if people must go into detail, as they wont to do, 'one guy, one girl' is at least something I can relate to and have some understanding of.

Still, not when I'm eating.

Well, if you can already relate to and understand 'one guy, one girl', clearly you don't need to hear about that sort of thing. But if you can't relate to or understand other arrangements, people telling you about such exploits expands your knowledge, and must thus be a most positive service:D

See, that's the problem. We've become a tell-all, talk-show society. What ever happened to keeping private stuff private? I don't particularly want my knowledge expanded. I neither need nor want to know all the seamy details of my friends(or acquaintances or in some cases complete strangers)private lives. As long as you're not breaking the law or hurting anybody, what you do is your business and should be kept to the people involved.

I wonder if it's possible to be, mechnosexual.
as in, the person gets off on looking at a catologue of hoovers or something?

Yes, I believe (e.g. I could be wrong) that it's called pomo-sexual. Look at Wikipedia, it has a huge list of sexualities, and what you're talking about is there.

Pomosexuality is short for post-modern sexuality. It's a way to get away from labeling a person's sexuality if they aren't comfortable with the "normal" terms.

I find postmodernism to be soul-destroying.

So I was wrong! oops. Actually, I meant paraphilia (this time I actually looked it up).

What kind of question is that?! Clearly, there is no such thing as a bisexual or a homosexual or a trisexual, quadri...

Which is ironic, considering the term was developed as a way to move beyond terms themselves...

why would you (or anyone else) make a term to stop using terms, that just seems to contradict itself

p.s. I'm am not saying this to start another semantics debate!!
