ah now that's an interesting point. what is death really? to us it's the state of not reacting to anything in this world, however this in no way entails that there is no life or afterlife after this.
In fact there's lots of specualation about what happens once you die, of course we will never know the truth, and will not be able to prove what happens for a long time(or ever).

I have genuine respect for anyone who knows even two languages, because I've tried to learn French, German, Latin and Bahasa Indonesia. German I wasted 4 years in school learning, only ever passed the exams by cramming and don't remember more than fifty words of. Learning a second language is something I suck at.

I vaguely remember that there is a short word in Ancient Latin which means pretty much that. Perhaps a Latin scholar could advise us here.
