No, but I have written a five-page paper on Mina Loy's Feminist Manifesto with several sources in five hours the morning before it was due.

There are many reasons for the distate that other nations have for Spain. To begin with, the spaniards are, by and large, Catholic, and so they think nothing of sleeping with their relatives so long as they make it to a confessional before a being killed by the Inquisition.
The country is also covered with convents, and a census by prominent Spainographer Matthew Lewis has demonstrated that over 70% of the female population resides in nunneries. Not that this stops them from sleeping with their relatives (as I mentioned before), it simply means that they are more likely to be locked away in a hidden cell until they starve to death as a result of their affairs.

Em... what movie did you just watched? The Name of the Rose? Or from what RP deluded site did you come from? It´s either that or you know absolutely nothing of modern day Spain. Take your pick.

First of, the country isn´t predominantly Catholic, not anymore. Agnosticism is very widespread. If you´re referring to ¨bulas¨ by saying that we Spaniards have no problem with sleeping with our relatives as long as we make it into confession and bribe the priest, you, sir, need to stop playing Dungeons and Dragons. That practice was discontinued by the church centuries ago.

It seems to me you´re calling my fellow countrymen incestuous and I will have none of that. Women do not live in nunneries so come back from your time travels. And please, you have a computer with internet access in front of you, use it before posting none sense.

And I seriously hope you´re jesting. Because if you´re not, you´re as rude as some claim my countrymen are.

I learned Japanese from the sentence structure, all of the Hiragana and Katakana, and the first 50 Kanji listed on the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (Kanji are listen easiest to most difficult, all 2,300+). Took me about a month total.

I'm foggy on quite a bit of what I learned, though, as it's been almost two years since I studied the language.

In Fall I enter my second year of Japanese and I understand it quite well, spoken. I don´t have much problem with Katakana, but Kanji is a bit complicated.

Katakana and Hiragana are writing ¨syllabrium¨ for Japanese. Japanese uses 4 ¨alphabets¨, for reference: Hiragana (school level), Katakana (middle school to high school), Romanji (for Western words) and Kanji (high school to university).

Kanji can be a real pain in the ass, but anybody who doesn't have a logic processing disorder can breeze through it steadily enough, if they concentrate.

I'd be almost 100% literate in Japanese now, had I kept my pace up... But life doesn't always turn out the way you think it will.

I hear you. My problem with Kanji at the moment stems from me not being able to concentrate a 100% on it because I have a full time job that demands a lot of my attention. I sometimes work 12 hours a day, 5 to 6 days a week and going to class just leaves me drained. I don´t have a problem following it if it´s spoken, and Hiragana wasn´t that complicated once I trained my hand. Katakana tend to be harder because you write differently than our Western alphabet. But Kanji.... gods... Kanji could be my undoing.

Everytime I see someone from Manchester United in Spanish soil I get the chills. Some of those hooligans came to Oviedo for a match between the Real Oviedo and the Manchester United and the MU fans just got drunk and made a lot of noise. They were mainly very vulgar.

Although those are my views of the Manchester United fans, I don't think all English people are rude or vulgar. Personally, I dislike soccer, from every country.

I find it's better to avoid folks who take a heavy interest in football unless you know them well.
Sure it's fun to play, and really good for exercise and such, but the fans are almost all comprised of the poor or lower classes, hence the lack of manners usually instilled into the middle classes.

Hey Neo, notice how she told you to blow off, but me she just casually accepts the correction? That's because I'm a sexy beast, and you're, well, you.

That's because of the way you posted. You were polite and funny at the same time.

If someone's rude to me in posting, I'll be just as rude in my retort. In that, I'm a nasty Spaniard to boot.;)

I've been told my ego is the size of Jupiter, and takes the form of a marshmallow. Thus, I am perpetually searching for my perfect other who has an ego made of chocolate and graham crackers.

I haven't found Spaniards to be particularily rude...then again, we don't get many Spaniards in these parts, mostly South and Central Americans...who all have a thing for the Barthelonian accent :P

Rhyno is a man and if he's looking for his significant other, hopefully, it will be a she.

And since the message was to me, I would be the second woman.

1 man + 2 women= Threesome.

But I do agree he's sick, nevertheless.:D
