What's your reputation on NSG? Or how do you see another?

I was pleased to note, on the soup thread, that at least one NSer pegged me as a cook. So I figure that my reputation on NS is as a foodie. I'm sure that others see me in a different light for different reasons, but I won't go there.

Do I have a reputation? I would be surprised if I did, to be honest, but I'm asking anyway.

Reputations have a way of being fluid for many people -- there are people whom I once viewed as funny and smart whom I no longer do -- there are people whom I once viewed as merely arrogant and annoying whom I have come to respect -- there are people whom I have liked and respected, then felt they were utter asses, then came to respect again -- and there are new posters whom I am noticing and forming an opinion about -- and some whose actions have basically made me stick with the first impression....

So... reputations? Some people take them too much to heart whether good or bad. Some people worry more about them than others. You can probably figure out what any particular person thinks of any other person at a particular point in time by looking at how they respond to that person. As with any community, though, it's apt to change at any time.

I am the most ignored. Most disliked poster On general and international incidents for my views. Especially on Miami, Fidel and Cuba. And since I am a native born now American citizen, Cuban American Miami Mafia Member.

I have never intentionally ofended anyone on NS. If I have it was not intentional. And I feel bad about it. I have always been nice despite our different economic, political and social views.

I'm no expert at this sort of thing but from what i've picked up.

Perhaps, but generally speaking good-looking people will have less issues with their self-esteem than those who aren't. Alot of judging who is good-looking is subjective, and i think it's mostly to do with how you percieve yourself, and I think having a loving family is vital to being happy.

Also there are a huge amount of exceptions to this, and looks aren't the only thing you rely on etc.
It's huge topic, where hundreds of books have been written on this sort of thing.

Not as far as I know? I made one goodbye thread when I went to study law and realised I didn't have enough time to do the internet without it affecting my work, and now I've got a lighter workload for a few weeks I'm online a bit more and posting again, after having my nation reactivated. Probably in a few weeks when it gets closer to exam/essay time my nation will die again.

Interestingly (or not, depending on who you are) I went karting again about a month ago. Just one of those pay your £20 and drive for half an hour jobs, but it was good fun. Makes me want to take it up again. Anyway, I was told that anybody doing a sub 58s lap on their first time there was doing well. Two laps in and I was lapping below 58s, ten laps in and I was below 56s, by the end of the half hour there had been seven new lap records.
